Purples taken from the original Ambigue flag, with the black and white coming from the chosen symbol, the Penrose Triangle.

I choose the Penrose Triangle (also called the Impossible Triangle) because optical illusions can be described or associated with Ambiguity (appearing paradoxical, misleading, cryptic, etc.) so I thought it would be fitting. Though any optical illusion would fit (my second choice was Rubin's Vase/Face).

Ambigue+

I came up with a definition since I don't think I've seen this mentioned elsewhere,

Ambigue+ / ambigueplus: when one is entirely ambigue, plus other genders.

The flag follows the same ray pattern as the other genderplus flags, and uses the colors of the original ambigue flag. [This] is the flag I found and used as reference.

Hey there anon, thanks for sending me your message. :-)

You don't need to feel a "certain way" to use a term. If you fit or relate the definition somehow and the term is open to you, it's yours to use if you would like.

I'll try to describe the gender Ambigue the best I can and hopefully that will help you ask yourself the right questions to figure out your gender at some point in this process.

Ambigue is a gender identity that is entirely ambiguous. Gender ambiguity can be considered indescernable, amorphous, nebulous or delphic. If you relate to having an ambiguous gender, ambigue may be a good term for you. Ambigue is an abinary gender that is indistinguishable across the gender spectrum. Being ambigue is often accidentally conflated with being an androgyne, but they are very distinct from each other. Androgynes embody androgyny in their gender, which is a gender quality resulting from the mixture of masculinity and femininity. Androgyny relates to the binary in this regard, being midbinary, but ambiguity does not.

If you haven't already, you should read this post from the coiner of the concept of gender ambiguity as a distinct quality. That might give you some more insight into what gender ambiguity is and whether it applies to you.

Here's a alt ambigue flag :)

There are no specific stripe meanings, I just went with grey (that's a bit green/cyan) since those are the colors that come to mind when thinking of ambiguity.

If there's anything about this flag that should be changed, I'm open to suggestions.
