Ok i know asks ars closed and whatnot , but hear me out: High school kai, asking high school angel to prom, and both being suupppeerrrr flustered and cute and pops and hari wstching from a good distance... ┬─┬ノ(ಠ_ಠノ)(ヘ･_･)ヘ┳━┳

Lol. Perfect.

He was bad. He was from the mafia. You heard friends and family members whispers and warning sto stay away from that boy ever since you manage to keep talking with the owner of such enchanting amber eyes.

Yet, you couldn't. You just couldn't stop talking with him. Everthing about Chisaki Kai was so mysterious and oh so worth it of going through and learning. Each day it passes, you felt that you were even more deeply in love with the yakusa's boy.

Yet, you somehow knew it wasn't mutual. As much as you stucked around, Kai never expressed that he was even a bit interested on you, never once. Merely when he doubted on why you weren't afraid of him or spoke badly about the yakusa, but that was it.

He was always so serious, never even once changing that handsome stoic face he had, the maximun you saw it was changing to annoyance or worst, anger. His uncaring persona didn't helped a lot either... always scoffing and even insulting, picking fights with those who doubted the yakusa.

You sighed at remembering all his characteristics, all of those were suppose to make him an unlikable person to many, but for you? Oh, you were the unlucky one to had gotten bited form the love bug.

And it had to be one of the guys who clearly didn't wanted nothing to do with you...

You even tried to ignore Chisaki once... it all ended with a Kurono running after you and to drag you back and both of the boys demanding an answer.

Well, seemed like you were stuck with them, even being completly in love with the dar brow haired boy. You couldn't exactly say that people didn't warned you, they did in some ways.

But they didn't prepared you to have to suffer due to love. An unrequited love...

"You seem a bit down (Y/n), you're okay?" One of your friends asked in concern, his blue eyes in worry as his blonde almost shined with the sun light.

"It was one of those guys again? We always told you to be careful." Your other friend mumbled, already with a scowl on her face.

"N-No! Neither of them! I-I am just... just lost on my thoughts due to the... uh.. P-Prom! That's it!"

They bought it as you sighed in relief, if it was Chisaki spoking to you right now he would arch his eyebrow and tear the real thought out of your head in instants.

Or he was really good at reading other people expressions, or he knew you better than anyone else... the thought made you smile a bit at the... possibility.

"So! Whoose is your pair then (Y/n)?" The ginger boy chirped while wiggling his eyebrows.

"Pair? What?" You commented, confused at the pair thing. It was obligated? God, you didn't had a pair!

Just when one of your friends was about to say something they froze at the image of Kurono walking nonchantly towards you, boredoom face as usual.

The group said their good byes and almost ran out of the room as you shaked your head in dissaproval at their actions before smilling at your friend.

"Hey Kurono." He nodded as a greeting before he sighed and layed his back on the wall.

"Chisaki ordered me to call you to meet him after classes. He said is something important and to not be late." You tilted your head in confusion.

"Where..?"

"Know the only cherry tree of that park? One time when you broked your arm while climbing and we had to walk you to the hospital and me and Chisaki were almost the ones your parents blamed if it wasn't for you explaining?" You blushed in embarrassment at the memory, remembering with perfection that Kai scolded you more than your own parents/guardians.

"Okay...? Did I do something? Where is he by the way?"

"Have no idea. And he went home already. Just listen that is better for both of us." He despatched hsi back from the wall and left with a goodbye. Leaving you all alone and with a kind racing on what possibly Chisaki would want from you.

Shit shit shit shiT SHIT!

You were late! All of because you offered to help your teacher to carry his material back to the teacher's room. You didn't thought it was going to take that long in your defence!

The sunset was beautiful but all you could think of was on how Kai was going to be hella mad at you. Knowing all of his habbits, you knew that one of the kost boring and annoying of them was how pontual he was.

The number one was his mysophobia, no doubts.

You were almost hyperventilating when you placed your palm on the nostalgic cherry tree. The sunset light hitted perfectly that spot and the petals fell graciously along with the wind, drifting them far away from you.

You looked around and frowned at not spotting any dark brow haired boy... it was never uncommun for Chisaki to be late for anything, neither to joke around like that... did something happened with-

"You're late as usual." His monotonous voice ringed from behind you, causing your smile to appear subsconciously as the blush in your cheeks grew, which could tottaly be blamed by the color of the sky you hoped.

"Sorry." You turned around and saw the ever sk stoic face of Kai with that black mask on. Recently he had started to use it despite all of your complains, his mysophobia had taken the better of him, and now he insisted o using that cursed thing, covering most of his handsome face.

"Mind giving me a motive? Or you're just that irresponsible as always?" He said nonchantly but his eyes spoked at how much annoyed he was, making you wince.

"Again sorry." You looked down at your feet "I didn't thought that helping mister Tokosumi would take that long..."

"People taking advantage of your actions, why I am not surprised..?" He sighed as he rolled his eyes.

You bited the bottom of your lip slightly before looking up at those monotonous eyes gazing back at yours. Nervousness as you were, you didn't even cared taht he was with one hand behind his marks and neither questioned it about it.

"So... Kurono told me you..." you played with your fingers while he looked down at you "It was something important you wanted to-"

His growl caught your attention and when you looked up a bouquet of your favorite type of flowers was almost trusted into your face. You tilted your head a bit to see Chisaki with an annoyed expression as he looked up with a frow... wait, was his ears red?

No way... w-was... was he blushing?

He shook them a bit as he brough his free hand for you to take it already. You, with wide eyes, picked the bouquet with uncertain yet flattered... before you spotted a one single golden rose right on the middle, which clearly caught your attention the most.

"H-How? Golden roses even exist?" You asked in astonishment as you brought the bouquet to your chest while you brought the rare flower to you, and it even smelled like one rose!

"Forgot what is my quirk about?" He sighed in annoyance, looking at you with an annoyed yet embarrassed expression.

"Y-You did this? And are giving it to me?"

"Clearly since no one else had the idea, bunch of idiots if you ask me." He sighed again before placing his hands on his pockets as he kicked the ground, much even like a kid would before slowly looking back at you "About the second question... you can have it, on one condition though."

"Huh? Which one?" You asked in interest, you couldn't be called a fan of flowers, but this one certainly got your interest, and you were planning to keep it!

"... The proom. Go on that with me, and you can have that thing." He mumbled the first part before looking at you dead in the eye, making your eyes grow wide as you almost lost the grip on the bouquet or even the golden rose.

Your world seemed to have paused, your cheeks burned at cat hung the words that just slipped from his mouth... did Chisaki Kai just asked you to go to the proom with him?!

He never once was someone to enjoy social gatherings, so why was he asking you this? You no less?!

"It passed one minute and a half of your silence. So it's a no?" He said nonchantly, not showing the slightest the possible hurt he was feeling.

"I-I..." you gulped down the thick air stuck on your throat "L-Like f-f-friends or anything like t-that?"

"Definitely not." His face grew darker at your words "If I am giving you a bouquet of flowers, even risking my own reputation is not "like friends" as you say. You know exactly what I am talking about idiot."

Your jaw could have hitted the floor with his little and subconscious confession. He pointed at the bouquet with a 'tsk' and show one card hanging on it.

You put back the golden rose on the bouquet to open the card, blushing hard at the neatly and almost perfect kanji of your name writen on it and what shocked you the most.

You looked up at him with wide eyes as his annoyed ones waited for an answer.

"I will! I would love to!" You exclaimed in happines as he winced at the tone of your voice and tensed when you hugged him close.

"First, dont scream dammit and second, stop hugging me so tight-" he tried to pry you off with his hands as his brows furrowed and his face grew hotter and hotter at any second it passed "You might take my breath away you-"

"I love you too!" You snuggled on his neck amd he cringed harder.

"Disgusting...!" He hissed before scoffing, giving up on prying you off from him and just patting your head with one hand awkwardly. Mask hiding his relieved and happy smile on his face as he looked away from you.

Although that smile quickly fade away when he saw two pairs of binoculars from the distance, one poking hlbehind a tree and the other in the middle of a Bush.

"STOP WITH THAT FOR ONCE KURONO! POPS YOU TOO?! GET OUT OF HERE!" he shouted in anger as you looked at him in confusion, making his face go beef red.

Bonus:

"He saw us." Kurono said after taking off the binoculars out of his eyes as Pops almost fell on the ground from laughter.

"Kurono my boy tell me, when was the last time you saw Chisaki that red?"

Hari thought for an bit before peaking the binocular again and snickered.

"Only when you caught him practicing on how to talk with (Y/n)."

Thhe ground soon started to tremble and Kurono cursed out loud, recognizing Chisaki's quirk.

"Run my boy. We've got time."

lovelypeaches08/28/2019cole and kai would settle down real late like....in their late thirties because they want to keep their children as safe as possible, being elemental masters and having enemies and all

at first wu wants them to fight longer and shit but hes OLD so who cares and theres probably conflict on thatbut kai and cole are old enough to realized they dont have to be controlled

so they get married, symbolically if anything, because they've been dating for probably a little over a decade now and known each other even longer, AND been living together for the same amount of time

theyre the first of the ninja to settle down, and they buy a small house in a village thats maybe an hour away from ninjago city

the tininess of the house is made up for by the largeness of the yard, where cole likes to garden, especially fruits and vegetables

cole works as a stay at home free lance artist, doing stuff like commissions, book covers, comics, etc for moneykai does something that puts his charisma to use, probably something in business that lets him advertise and talk a lot..he could never settle down for a stay at home job or anything, even with all his thrilling ninja stories

they have enough money from donations and awards to thrive off these jobs, and ninjago probably pays them kind of like retirement

cole cooks for kai so he always has a meal ready when hes home, so then kai cooks on the weekend

anyways, they have two kids, about 3 years aparti haven't figured them much out yet, but kai and cole cook and bake with themcoles parenting style is very protective and rather spoils them, while kai lets them do whatever as long as its not immediately dangerousthey balance each other out well, so their kids grow up loved and well rounded

the kids go to a small school on the outskirts of ninjago city, and get asked about their parents a LOT. they kind of like the attention but it gets irritating

moving on to the other ninja who also start to settle down,jay doesnt really want kids, so he passes on his powers with ~science~ or something, but only when hes a lot olderhe does engineering at borg industries or something, and he messes around a lot but gets away with it bc hes the blue ninjahes like kai and coles kids Fun Uncle, since he lives in a big apartment in downtown ninjago city, with a bunch of cool techkai and coles family often take elongated road trips therejay thinks hes a cool relative but besides being super lenient hea actually kind of embarrassing lol

nya settles down a bit later than the rest of them, because she wants to live her ninja days to the fullesti could go on about my domestic samurai au but her and pixal have a kid who gets nyas water powersnya is much more eager to train her kid than cole and Kai are (they want to start properly training thwir children when theyre like 16, much to wus disappointment)nya doesn't force anyrhing on her kid but she doesnt protect her kid from the fact they'll have to train sooner or latershes determined on still changing the world, so she's a strong political leader, with innovative ideas who doesnt approve of ninjagos government and wants to change it for the betterShe also lives in downtown, but isn't as fun as jayher kid is younger than kai and coles, but kai and coles kids look up to them because they're very independent and skilled! their mom is also super cool, but not in a silly way. she rocks leather jackets and drives her kid around on a motorcycle

lovelypeaches08/28/2019zane is tricky for me...i like to imagine him sticking with lloyd to being a ninja or whatever, since hes going to be alive a lonnggg timehe also wants to respect wus wishes, so he teaches students and fights alongside lloydhe does so much less however, and finds a lot of time to visit his friends

kai and coles kids are shy around him at first, him being a nindroid whose still a ninja, but hes so much nicer and softer than expectedhe always brings them presenrs and enjoys quality time with them, so he's basically their favorite uncle

now lloyd continues his master training, to become the next master after wu dies. hed be the one to guide the next generation of elemental masters as well as their parents in training thembut don't worry, he gets a break too, since the other ninja help him out. hes much less burdened then wu was in the later years of his lifeok thats all i think

My commentary now

little boy whos like 3 and super wide eyed and excited and loves pink (when he foudn out zane at one point had a pink gi he asked if he could get one too)older girl around 6 whos a big daddys girl and loves to garden with cole and make mud piez

the little girl is the fire em - she had temper issues linked to autismz which they worked through her with early and never thought of it but she has a big passion for gardening they mistook for elemental connection when rly she just LUVS IT

little boy is em of earth - hes a natural born leader and stubborn, wide eyed and excitable. again bc they worked w both their kids about their tempers and such they never realized he was just naturally good at keeping his composure. also a lot like jay keeping morals upnaturally strong but both their kids are and i hc the super strength doesnt come in until peubertyz

shes a bit of a late bloomer with em powers but one day their little boy accidentally makes a pot hole inside the kitchen bc he was excited over zane cookingthey took too good of care of their kids and his true potential was simple bc he was a litol kid which was im going to live my best fcuking life with friends and family *rips a hole in the ground

kai and cole are the gross sappy parents that trade kisses n their kids are like thats DISGUSTING youre DISGUSTINGLY IN LOVE

they always get so fucking scared thokai custom makes weapons for themarmor too he spends hours upon hours making sure its perfect and even prays over them to keep their kids safe

anyway when kai n cole visit w them (idk if theyr just adopted at their current age or like.... adopted as babies or surrogate or?? idk but) they visit lloyd and kai softly says "Look! its uncle lloyd" and lloyd starts SOBBING hes just fucking bawlinghis eyes out and when kai offers to for lloyd to hold him lloyds just like are you suure arre eyyuuu thherye so smsmm all kaiii are yoruur suureee thheyrey babbeises

nya is hesitant but ends up being a really good aunt, i meanshe took care of kai /j

zane is a fav uncle and hes always making sweets for them jay is. also sorta a fav bc where zane comes jay follows and jay has a sweet tooth and also makes Cool Toys + hey wanna prank your dadsalso im dramatic and likekai and cole sitting down and having a convo about master wubc he was sorta a shitty mentor and they really REALLY dont want their kids going through any self confident issues nor over stressing bc theyr KDISeventually kai and cole talk to master wu and actually has wu face his terrible practice towards kids and wu accepting he was.............................a bad 'parent' in a senseblebleblelelelelelellekai works but cole absolutely watches over any training when wu is there at first but lloyd is the master now and lloyd is like..........................i dont want kids to go through what i went through kai is like i trust you but also i will murder every single one of you in this dojo if you ever hurt my little girlim doing what i do and taking an au and running im sorry ghdghdfhJACK RAMBLES....their son refuses to wear shoes he lieks dirt on his feet they never really think much of it but its actually really comforting for him to feel the earth under his feet and feel stablethey think its just a stim thing maybe? theyr unsurebut! turns out him Element(also a fear of heights)lloyd tries to be a serious master but hes a big ol goof and can easily be manipulated

the girl is Reka which means sweet in maori (a personal headcanon for cole) and shes their sweetheart

This is my submission for a picture is worth a thousand words challenge hosted by @speedyoperarascalparty. The amazing @riseandshinelittleblossom gave me my photo (Which I LOOOOVE) thanks boo. The pairing I chose is Leo & Alicia from the cgw world by @ao719 @riseandshinelittleblossom @speedyoperarascalparty, @cocomaxley and myself.

Alicia walked out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around her body. She glanced over at the bed a beautiful light pink floral sun dress laid out for her, with a note attached.

Meet me in the foyer at 5. -Love, Leo

A smile played on her lips. It was their first real date since becoming official. Sure they had been out together before, but they always called it hanging out and yes she had been his date to courtly functions, but again they were friends with benefits so it was fitting. At first when he asked her to go on a date, she thought he was joking so she laughed only he was serious. Shaking her head at the thought, She slipped the dress over her head. She dried her hair and did it in loose beach waves Fixed her makeup, slipped in a pair of wedges and headed down to meet Leo.

She descended the staircase, Leo's mouth fell open. “You look breathtaking love.” he leaned in pressing his lips to her cheek. “You don't look so bad yourself handsome.” Leo wore a pair of dark wash jeans, and a short sleeved button up, amd a new pair of sneakers. “New shoes?” she eyed him. “Of course. Shall well?” He grinned holding his arm out. She looped her arm in his and they walked out of the palace.

Leo opened the passenger door of the sleek black bmw, closing it as she was inside. He ran around to the drivers seat. “So, you gonna tell me what you have planned or what?”

“So impatient.” he teased. “we are going to dinner, somewhere you'll like.”

“Ok, fine. I'll let you have your fun.”

He reached over turning on the radio. “Here sit back, listen to some music and enjoy the ride.” She complied as he drove down the drive way and onto the highway. Taking the long way, he zipped through the hills of the cordonian countryside. He knew how much Alicia loved the scenery. “How you doing over there?” He glanced over at her, breaking the silence that settled over the car.

“Good. Just enjoying the view.” She grinned

A few minutes later they came over the last of the tall hills, the sparkling ocean laid out in front of them. A wide grin spread across her lips “I dont think I'll ever get tired of this view.”

“Neither will I.” His eyes never leaving her.

They pulled up to a small restaurant sitting right on the beach. “Seaside Gem?” She read the sign. “Yup, its one of my favorite places. I hope you like it.” He grinned holding his hand out to help her out of the car. They walked into the restaurant, the quaint view from the outside was nothing compared to the inside. The interior was decorated in a tasteful nautical theme, the wood craftsmanship was breathtaking. “Ah Prince Leo, good to see you.” an older gentleman approached them. “Papa Carl, how are you?” He shook his hand pulling him in for a hug. “Leo, you've brought a friend! And who is this lovely lady?”

“Where are my manners, Carl this beautiful woman right here, is my girlfriend, Alicia.” Leo beamed. Carl clutched his chest “Oh my god, i never thought I'd see the day. Come on, come on you two. The best seat in the house for you.” He pulled them along. “Momma louisa is not going to believe it.” He handed them menus as they sat in the booth.

“Papa Carl? Momma Louisa?” Alicia eyed him.

“I found this place when i was a teenager, Damien and I would sneak out, come to the beach and prowl for girls.” He grinned.

“Oh! So you bring girls here often?”

“No. Ive actually never brought a girl here before. I was supposed to meet Damien one day, but he never showed. I wandered around for a while and got hungry, so I came in here. I had no money on me, no credit cards, nothing. But Carl and louisa sat me down and fed me.”

He smiled at the memory, Alicia reached for his hand. “So they became like family?”

“They did, I came back the next week, money in hand. Week after week I would sneak off and come here to eat and enjoy their company. They felt like a family, lord knows my father wasnt a very good father after Liam's mom died.”

“Oh my little Leonard, come give momma a hug.” a short olive skinned woman, with a thick italian accent came barreling around the corner.

He stood hugging her, leaning down so she could kiss each cheek. “Momma louisa, this is my girlfriend Alicia. Alicia this is Momma Louisa.”

Alicia stood extending her hand “Its nice to meet ya.”

“This one, shes American no?” she looked between the two. “Ah yes, I am actually. Long Beach in New York.” Alicia answered.

“Ahh Mia familia in New York, ah in Brooklyn.” Louisa smiled. “Come, come.” she motioned for Alicia to come closer as she wrapped her in a giant hug. “I like her Leonard, you keep this one eh.” She pointed her finger at him. “I plan to mamma.”

They ordered and the waiter brought their meal out. Leo ordering scoglio which had scallops, shrimp, muscles and clams. Alicia ordering chicken parmigiana, her absolute favorite meal.

“Ok I dont even like sea food and that, looks amazing.” She eyed his dish. “Oh. it is. Wait til you taste yours.” He watched as she cut into the tender, juicy cutlet and twirled the spaghetti on the fork. She took a bite. Her eyes snapping shut. “mmmmm oh. My. God. Leo, this is, wow! Its like i died and gone to Italian heaven. This is way better then mine.”

“I told you. But I happen to think yours is really damn good love.”

They devoured their food. Paying the bill, and hugging Carl and louisa goodbye, with the promise to come back atleast once a month.

She started walking towards the car before Leo stopped her. “No love. Were not leaving just yet.” he lead her down a small path that opened up to a boardwalk, complete with shops and stahls. “Care to take a stroll?” He laced his fingers with hers.

“Of course. But only if you win me something.”

They walked hand in hand along the semi crowded boardwalk. A few people gasping, pointing and speaking amongst themselves. “People are staring, Leo.” Alicia dropped her voice. “So, let them stare.” He chuckled as they continued their walk stopping at the arcade. “Lets see. Ring toss? NO. skiball? To easy. Ah! This.” He stopped at the bottle toss game. “Leo. these things are always rigged.” She whispered. “Nonsense, Let me show you how its done.” He paid the attendant and grabbed the 3 balls. He threw on hitting it, wobbling a few, the 2nd ball knocked the top bottle off, but on the 3rd he hit it just right and all of the bottles came tumbling down. He picked a large stuffed weiner dog that she named Fred.

They continued their walk, talking and laughing along the way. “Tell me, where do you see yourself in oh 5 years?” He asked, trying to pull her attention from the people that had now crowded to the boardwalk. “Five years? Well, if we are being honest.” She paused for a moment, not sure if she should really say what her heart's desire was. She closed her eyes for a second, and took a deep breath. “I hope to be married and have at least one child by then.”

She waited for him to choke, stop walking, stutter nervously, but he didn't. “Is that so?” He sounded amused.

“Yeah. It's just, something I've always wanted. To be married, have a family.” She nervously tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. “And tell me Alicia, do you see that for us?” Alicia stopped dead in her tracks now turning to look directly at him. “I. Um. I would be lying if I said the thought never crossed my mind. But Leo I understand if that's not something you want. I know it was a big step, asking me to be your girlfriend. I would never push-”

“You would never push anything on me love.” He cut her off, she opened her mouth to speak, but he continued. “Alicia, from the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were different. Everything about you pulled me in. A matched grin formed on her face. “Oh, i'll watch the shoes alright.” one by one she stood on top of his feet, she leaned up on her tiptoes, pulling the collar of his shirt. He met her demands as their lips crashed together in a soft, passionate kiss. They pulled back staring into each other's eyes. They could hear the gasps, giggles and cameras snapping photos from the press and onlookers around them. “Liam's gonna be pissed.” Alicia giggled. “Let him be.” Leo grinned his large hands wrapped around her waist as he lifted her and spun her around. “Thank you, this has been a great date.” She smiled as he let her down. “You are welcome, but this date is far from over love. Just wait until we get back to the palace.” He growled.

“Well, last one to the car is a rotten egg.” She took off running.

Leo stood there giving her a head start “God I fucking love her.” She said to himself before he took off running.

The tattoo shop is on the magic side of town so any tech newer than the 1990s doesnt function at all and anything that new doesn't fuction well.

The now text, instead of map, filled screen said take a left through the tree arch, and they did, throwing a forget me not seed over their left shoulder. Just in case.

Good thing they'd gotten a lifetime, guaranteed to function, Nokia - half tech,half magic, all durability. Swear the damn thing ran on dialup though.

The world shimmered around them and there it was - it looked like a biker bar and a flower shop had a baby, but this was the place.

The phones AI made a video game achievement noise to indicate their successful arrival, and then went automatically into sleep mode.

They shoved Bartholomew into their bag and slung it back over thier shoulder where it immediately tangled with the baseball bat strapped there... That was a problem for later them they decided, walking into the place.

Their nerves were jangling louder than the charms twisted above the door. "Hello?" An older voice quivered out from the back room behind the register, and what looked like an older gentleman passes through the beaded ivy curtain.

"Finally decided to get the tattoo?"

They nod at the gentleman, not questioning how he knew.

His smile is like a nostalgic camera lense flare, and he smells just like their grandmother. A conscious decision to put them at ease no doubt, but they were human and it just made them more aware he was other. A predator.

He parts the ivy and waves them through. "Well come in, come in! Are you excited or just nervous?" They pass buy and do the awkward following from the front thing as he points thim down a hall and through the third archway on the left.

There were no actual doors and they were greatful, other people both human and other seeming giving and receiving various things in the other rooms. It was reassuring in a way the attempt at small talk was not.

The room looking exactly as it should was also a reassuring. Hard wood, concrete, vinyl - no crome but the bone was worn and old and suited the atheistic of the place.

They climbed into the chair and then gestured a vague more or less sign at the gentleman just to be polite.

He was going to be stabbing them full of magic, ink, and strings of fate - being rude or dismissive would be more dangerous than allowing themselves to speak freely here.

"That's fair." He hummed, sounding less like an old man amd more other as his attention wandered to his tools and his work.

As they wait they inspect their bare arms, the scars, their implant, and other marks there. This would not be their first tattoo or their last but it was perhaps the most life changing one they had received.

Soulmate tattoos weren't new exactly - the magic itself was very old - but parlours like this one were new. Almost everyone who walked in came back out, satisfied with their choice.

It always came back to choice really - it had since the universe first unrolled its tapestry - and no matter what their friends would tell them... This story was as good as any other.

They weren't throwing their life away on a romance they would have stumbled onto anyways - and they weren't just rushing to make a decision just to be done with it.

Intrested in adventure didn't mean they were brave or dumb enough to face it, and they weren't ambitious enough to want for anything more than wha they already had in life.

... Hell they'd already decided long ago that if they were stuck as the lone npc in a world full of playing characters that they would be satisfied with that.

So this... was just the easiest thing before them really. A tattoo someone would see - or not. A romance or a tragedy or both or neither. No guarentee of success, no definition of failure.

The perfect person for them was hard to imagine. No matter what sort of person it was, they were certain they'd always be just a little disappointed that this was all their fate had summed up to be. And what a disappointment they were going to be for their unlucky soulmate!

But things would either work out or they wouldn't, and at thirty-two they were rather tired of waiting for the sword of damocles to finally fall.

"Yours is, as your online test indicated, an invisible tattoo - only soulmates can see it, meaning the best place is somewhere visable."

It was another person speaking - or the same person but wearing a different face.

Their face.

"Maybe here?" They watch themselves touch their bare cheek and shake their head. "No? How about here?" Their fingers touch their neck and they get phantom chills as if the gentlefolk were actually touching them.

They shake their head again and lift their dominant hand using their left to cuff the still bare wrist.

Their face wrinkles and then smooths. "Yes, that will do nicely."

Instead of the bone needles they were expecting, the artist brings over a rose and slips it on their wrist like a corsage. Its wet.

A new face answers the unspoken question. "Its like the press and peel tattoos of your youth. You'll know when to peel - please leave the agreed upon payment in your chair when you leave." The gentlefolk leaves, wearing a new face.

They inspect the rose. It's opalescent and made of bronze and stone so fine light shines through it. the bracelet portion as gears slowly turning, tightening and pressing the wet more snuggly around their wrist.

They get a bad feeling just as the gears stop turning - and then the thorns pop out and into their arm.

Just as quickly as it happens its over, their frantic clawing at the device is met with no resistance. The now red and soft petals crush easily and slide away as if it had never been more that a blossom.

There's bandages in their bag, and present them spends the next five minutes silently cursing past them as they struggle to detach it from their bat.

When they're bandaged up they drop the payment on the seat as instructed and leave.

They dont question why they only see the thorn's pricks and not the tattoo- invisible to all eyes by the soulmates apparently meant what it said on the tin.

yeah so because of recent events and all regarding sh/adam here comes this:

This is my last post on this topic.

Either way I tag them as #discourse from now on. I know I am personally very uncomfortable with discourse generally and this blog is dedicated to my art and I actually wanted to actively avoid any discourse. But this is a topic that hits closer to home I need to vent it out.

But mt opinion, long story short is: I pretty much despise Adam because he expected Shiro to choose Adam over his own happiness and so far hasnt done anything to redeem himself. Explanation under the cut.

So, as I mentioned in previous posts: fuck Adam. I'm not gonna dip any deeper into how I think Shiro deserves someone who will be able and happy to unconditionally support him and how I think that person is Keith and how much I love Sheith because of it. I'm not even gonna mention what Shiro deserves or Keith after this.

So, I watched episode 1 of the upcoming season and finally i feel better making a post about Adam now.

In the end, though, it didnt change anything on my previous opinion.

Adam's decision of not waiting for Shiro and leaving him because of the Kerberos mission and because he simply didnt have the mental energy to seeing someone he loves deeply suffer, is selfish but understandable. And there's nothing wrong in being selfish. Although even if obviously the stress people who have disabled beloved ones is nothing compared to what the disabled person has to go through, it doesnt change the fact that it's still stressful and everyone, whether disabled or not, has to decide for themselves what is best for their mental stability and health and if they want to put themselves through such stress or cant. Deciding that you cant doesnt make you evil. Wanting your loved ones to be safe and alive and well isn't wrong.

Still I cant go all "I love Adam!!!" and "he did nothing wrong!!" not because I'd be prioritizing Shiro anyway, but because of Adam's ultimatum and how Adam saw one option as the right and one as the wring one.

"Takashi, how important am I to you?". That's what Adam said. I dont remember how exactly Adam phrased it but after that he outright told Shiro that Shiro would have to choose between having Adam in his life or the Kerberos mission. Between someone who Shiro loved and wanted to be with for the rest of his life or a dream he obviously had devoted his whole life to, the dream of his life. Between Adam or winning the fight against his disability by not going down without a fight. Because we know that there was no hope for Shiro no matter how much he rests and all Shiro could do was decide what to do with his remaining time. (I have an idea of what Shiro's disease is, and if it is then I have some experience with it, which makes it all the more personal to me and makes me all the more angry at Adam and anyone who sides with him.)

And I know some people are okay with giving up their dreams or ambitions to be with their loved ones. Shiro obviously isnt that person though.

Shiro was disabled. Shiro knew it was a miracle he had come this far anyway despite his disease (Adam did say Shiro already broke all sorts of records) and he wanted to go further. He didnt want to stop already. To Shiro it probably felt like giving up to his illness if he had stopped. As a disabled person giving up to your illness is the ultimate defeat. Personally, I'd much rather die. Adam KNEW how much value the Kerberos mission had, that this is the last chance Shiro would get. Yes, it was a life-threatening mission, but Shiro would rather die than give up to his disability, or so it seems to me.

Think about what a miserable life that would be to Shiro. Think about how depressing that would be. Adam would rather see Shiro alive but miserable with no real chance of recovery than what? Dead? No, because no one would want Shiro as a pilot if they thought he wouldnt make it back alive enough and able enough to safely pilot them back. They wouldnt even have considered him, but obviously they did. So Adam would rather have Shiro in regret and miserable surrender for his last few years before the disability kicks in full than achieving his ambitions and being happy and proud. And all because of being selfish? All because ADAM didnt wanna be alone? I would get it if Adam's concern would be that Shiro wouldnt pilot them all back safely, but that obviously isnt Adam's real concern here if he starts iff1 with "Takashi how important am I to you?".

That's what rubs me so wrong with Adam, that's why I really hate him, to be honest. I'm not saying he's evil or a person you should hate and demonise. Adam is just human. But honestly? What does it tell me about you if you absolutely adore Adam after thats all we get from him and you think he did nothing wrong in wanting Shiro to give up his ambitions for him? What does it tell me about you that you'd want Shiro to come back to earth to Adam, who gave up on Shiro? That you'd want Shiro to regret leaving Adam, regret not giving up on himself? If you dont think Adam needs to apologise and redeem himself, if you think Shiro is in the one in the wrong-

If it weren't for the ultimatum, I wouldnt hate Adam. If Adam had just said he couldnt bear seeing Shiro suffer then I would let Adam go like that. If Adam had said he thought the mission is too risky and he couldnt bear waiting for Shiro to come back, I wouldnt judge Adam. If we meet Adam again and he apologises for his outburst to Shiro and means it, Adam redeems himself in my eyes. I still wont like him and I still dont think he's deserving of Shiro. I still wont want them to be together because I think if Adam didnt have the strength to be with Shiro with his disability until the end, then how can Adam be sure to be able to be with Shiro now that he's scarred (both literally and figuratively) from a galactic war Adam hadnt been there to experience and therefore couldnt ever truly comprehend the consequences of?

Adam isnt truly evil for what he said. Evil is a much stronger word I reserve for truly evil people. Because people say bad things under stress, say things they dont mean or regret, voice their thoughts in a wrong way all the time. Or sometimes they mean what they say but think better later, realise their mistakes and make things right. Stress does that to you. But owning up to it is what counts. Owning up to the consequences, owning up to people not liking you for that anymore or leaving you or outright avoiding you and despising you, that's what makes you a good person.

You can tell me all you want how Shiro should think about how his actions make other people feel. That he should have considered Adam's feelings and think twice about the Kerberos mission. Amd I hope he did. If not that was wrong of him too. But we all have to make our choices and decide when to be selfish or not. When to prioritise ourselves over other people. When you have to leave people for the sake of ourselves. Being selfish all the time is obviously not a good way to go, but leaving your life completely up to others and only living for other people's sake and be miserable for it isnt either. If you're going to live to make others happy then do it only if it actually does make you happy, too. Shiro wouldnt have been if he had. He knee that. Or maybe he would have been anyway, but neither decision would have been wrong of him.

Shiro risking his life to achieve his ambitions was part of his fight against his disability. It was part of not giving up. Adam couldnt respect that. He disrespected Shiro's struggles not by leaving Shiro but by forcing Shiro to choose between him, or winning that fight. Thats why I think Adam did something extremely wrong. I hate Adam because I hate people who prioritize themselves over people's recovery and happiness, expect people to, and then have the nerve to not even regret it.

In retrospect it wasnt really Adam giving an ultimatum to Shiro that was wrong. It was Adam expecting Shiro to choose him and get angry at Shiro for choosing his own happiness over Adam's.

Again, if Adam regrets it and owns up to, apologises, then I will hate him less. I will still dislike him, but I wont think he's a bad person. But so far that's not what we got and until we see that I wont think Adam did.

So miss me with all your pro-Adam and Sh/adam or A/dashi posts. Miss me with all the "voltron better end with a reunion and a wedding between them!". It makes me truly uncomfortable to see it. Im not bashin on the pairing either, you can ship whatever you like. I dont think people who like Adam or want him to get together with Shiro again are bad people because of that. I dont think people who understand and not dislike Adam because of his actions are either. I wont hate on people if they dont understand why this is my opinion or simply didnt take the step of spending all that much thought on the morality and seriousness of it. But man am I uncomfortable with people who take Adam's side.

I was wrong for being flirty and to allow the conversation to keep going but that was all it was!!!

I told this to my bf and he decided to forgive me and “let it go”. We had been dating for another 5 months or so and as I said before one of his friends over heard a conversation my guy friends that were in europe while I was there were having and he told my bf what he had heard. My bf told me he had to talk to me on tuesday so he did. He bluntly asked me If i had cheated and I literally said NO I DIDNT. He immediately said i dont belive you. I started crying I was devastated to think that he could actually think I was capable of doing somethig like that and even if i had that I would have the guts to keep it from him for all this time. I told him on tuesday that I couldn’t be with aomeone who could think so little of me and someone who couldnt trust me. We were both devastated and crying. He told me he was sorry for doubting me and he believed that I hadnt done it. He left my house and we didnt actually get to Any conclusion. On wednesday we texted and I told him i had said everything I needed to say so when he was ready to talk he could tell me and I would gladly hear him out. That same day at night he came over and as we started talking he started crying like he seemed so frustrated with his head like he could not control what was happening in there. He said he couldnt do it anymore. That his insecurities were past that and right now what he needed was time to put his mind in order and not be all judgmental and not trust me. I told him I agreed and i respected that he wasn’t comfortable and neither was I. I didn’t deserve to be with someone who doesn’t tryst me and he should be with someone he could trust. We cried for like an hour amd he told me how in love h was worh me that he wanted to marry me, he couldnt imagine live without me, he could mever have

Etc etc etc. I decided not to retain my feelings because i knew if i was going to break up and I didnt tell him about everything I felt I was going to regret it afterwards. We kissed, we hugged, we didnt end on bad terms. I am having such a hard time because he is the love of my life I cant believe everything ended because of a lie, a lie he couldnt put my word before his friends and would not put me first. I understand this may be whats best because if he was having such a hard time the relationship wouldve ended worse? The thing is i keep telling myself I have to get over him and just move on but deep in my heart i know i would give anything for him to forgive me, trust me in order to get back with him. I know he needs time. He needs time to think what happened and make sense out of it. I do think once his head is a little less asdfghjkl he will understand he was dumb and he loves me. But I cant fathom the fact that we’re over. Idk why but i just think this is all a bad dream and his just going to call me tomorrow to pick me up and just be like we were on monday that we were the happiest. I know i shouldnt call him not because of pride but bc i really didnt do anything wrong (other than flirting a bit but he knee and frogave me about that already) and If i call him or text him he might think I feel guilty and i felt the need ti get things straight but I did that already.

So i dont know know to convince myself that its over and I wont get back to him. What do you think will happen, i am having the worst time. And i mean through out the day ive been hanging out with friends to not think about that so much and ive had a good time but when im alone in bed i just cantZ and Ive dreamed about him every day since we broke up. U dream that he talks to me and tries to get back. Ive also dreamed about us if we had never broken things off. Im just having a hard time i dont want to expect anything but something inside me does expect him to take me back. I forgot to mention he is 21, he is actually very mature but he has always been the guy that worries too much about everything so i see where he is coming from but still. His friends are the kind if guys who would tell him yeaah dint worry lets get drunk blah blah and I really think he needs a real friend to talk to to get some sense in to him and not even for us to getting back together but someone who actually hears him out and gives him good advice. hey there <3 the way you ended the relationship was honest and mature, I’m really proud of you for being able to do that (: I completely agree with you -- you don’t deserve to be with someone who can’t trust you, someone who could think so little of you! I think you did the right thing by ending the relationship, I really do .

you only ended the relationship 3 days ago! sometimes it can take weeks and months to finally move on -- this pain isn’t something that will disappear overnight, give yourself time to grieve and to start to heal. it’s natural that you feel disorientated at the moment? like you were in a relationship with someone for a long time!! and now that has all changed, it’s going to take some time to adjust.

keep yourself busy and spend time with friends like you mentioned? try to keep some order and stability and routine with things -- like if you always have breakfast then keep on getting up each day to have breakfast, if you always have showers at night then keep doing that. your life has just changed a lot, and keeping up with routine can help to make the transition a bit easier.

take away things that remind you of him (trust me constant reminders in your life of someone never helps!), listen to music that makes you feel good, take it one day at a time. this pain will ease, things will become easier to manage, it won’t hurt so much. talk to friends about all of this, don’t keep it bottled up!

maybe in time your ex boyfriend will understand in time that what he did (ie. not believing you about not cheating) was dumb, maybe he will clear his head! but in the mean time? focus on you, focus on doing what is best for you. much love <3

So I just woke.up amd its 5 in the morning but let me tell you I had the weirdest dream.

So.for some reason I was in the mountains and we.dug a shelter out of snow and everything smelt terrible and there was this one thing that wassnt snow and it was a door with a golden handle.

And I remember since the room smelt horrible everyone wanted to go out but all we.needed to do is go get water? And so someone went out and so it was just me and two other people. A little while later after complaining like 3 years old, we decide to open the mysterious door.

So we approach this door, right? And we semt out leader, who is named Time, in. Amd I watched thus middle age man with blonde hair turn into a wolf. The he walks through the door which the other person amd I Immediantly close.

Then we hear screaming. Just human screaming. Panicking, we open the door to see wolf Time running around in circles by the door amd the charging at a creature out of sight.

So, naturally, after we see that, we slam the.door close and run to hide. I hid in water was at the start a place we put our boots, which were for some reason heeled?, but by then it was a bathroom?

And so I slam my body against the door right as I hear a voice outside amd it goes "I hear about a Tetra and gejfks (I have no.idea what he said it was just demonic screeching)" and then the bathroom door gets shoved open just enough for a bears head to stick through.

And then it smiles and there is so much teeth and he goes "Ah. You must be Tetra." And I have no odea what hes talking about and then suddenly me and the other.person are running down a sidewalk.

They were wearing jeans and I was wearing shorts and they were wearing one of those white undershirts while I had no.idea what shirt I was wearing. And the only key feauture I could see about this person.was the blonde hair the constantly looked windswept.

Anyways, brain decided to call that person Twilight for like 3 more minutes. And as we are runnung down the sidewalk we slow down and look around.

It a small little place. Green grass, sky.blue skies, picture perfect white houses with picket fences, it look nice.

And then I turn around to look at where.we came from amd its a giant snow.covered mountain that seems like its only a few feet away with how big it was.

Then I turn back around and go "I feel like I'm forgetting something."

And the currently dubbed Twilight says "Ya. But its not Time. Hes dead."

And then I go, exteremely cheery-like, all smiles and skipping, "We left Wild up there."

Neither of us do anything amd just continue walking before we both stop amd turn to.look at each other yelling "We forgot Wild!"

And then we ran towards the mountain but now suddenly it was farther away with a green hill before it. And I say "I'm glad we realized this at the same time."

Ignoring me, Twilight said "We dont have time to go to the mountains, come on lets go this way." And by now we are on the hill and we veer off the path and there are just miles of trees.

Then my brain starts calling Twilight Jaune so then Jaune goes "Now I know you want to go through the woods and prove how tough you are but we need to go around."

So I listen and then suddenly I made a realization that my name is Oscar? So I have that.going for me.

So we run around the trees until we get to a hugs hill. To the side, the entire thing is covered with trees. Big trees, little trees, stumps of trees. To the other side, the ome I am standing over, has no trees. Instead there are horses.

So while I'm just standing there zeroing in one a horse I want, Jaune walks behind me and says "We are gonna sheild surf."

So I just pull out a shield from somewhere, hop on, and go zooming the entire way down. Then a pull an ice arrow also out of somewhere and a bow and shoot a brown horse with white legs and black spots on the legs and freeze it.

So I jump off the shield and run over to it but it breaks free. So I do it again and make it this time. Jaune (he's back?) holds ghe hourse steading and I'm sitting there, repeatedly hitting the A button but then the horse breaks free again, runs over Jaune, and I completely fail to catch it.

So we ignore the horses and approach the frnce and there is this bald guy who goes "Ah, you must be here for work." And he hands is appears and starts explainig what we need to do.

I shake my head and say, "Uh, sorry, no sir. We aren't looking for work. You see we just got back from a hunter mission (we did?) and are looking for a way to revive our friend? Know a place?"

And the bald man nods and says, pointing to a map that's suddenly in my hands, which now also holds a volcano, and says "There used to be a village there. A secret grotto. But it's been destroyed. That would be your best bet, but there's nothing there."

I put away the map, turn around, and me and Jaune start walking away as I called over my shoulder, "Then we'll try to find a book or something."

And as I looked around, there is this giant volcano and I dont know if it was my thoughts or Jaune was speaking but I hear "There are people there and we are gonna go find them and make them bring Wild back to life."

Then we arrive to a place that looks exactly like Kakariko in BotW and head to the big house.

Amd om our way there is this guy that looks like a cross between Clover Ebi and some that hair brushed guy you find around Hyrule that tells you where to find a memory. Cause like he is all muscle with orange hair that has no sides but am extremely long tip.

And this guy isn't even being subtle. He pulls a note out of his pocket, looks at it, and lets it hang out of his back pokect. So, naturally, I grab it. He outs his hand back in his pocket and heads up the stairs of this house to go it.

I look at the note to see things like H-1, FF-2, I-7, stuff like that. So I go up the stairs with Jaune at my heels and also another person I had never seen before. And we follow this trail of palates around. They all have things written on them. The last one, specifically, had FFF, GG, H-1. And I turn to my left to see this scregfaly guy just watching me work. It apparently from Katara? And my point of view changes so I see Katara, sprawled out on tge couch, and ont the phone. And she says, "Can I talk to Sokka? I want to know how many I am cooking for." And I domt know who said this but someone said ?Ah yes. Wild amd Sokka. And the rest of them. Warriors, Wind, rat-Legend. And I only get to them before the conversation oicks back up again.

Katara says "Is my fiancee dead?" And I'm pretty sure even my dream self knew that Sokka and Katara were siblings but anyways I see Katara sit up and apparently there are like 5 other people there. One that Katara was laying on, one to that person's right, and three people surrounding the couch.

And as she sits up me amd Jaune are back in the igloo hut in the middle of the mountain. The door is gone and now there is a giant grill next to the bathroom. And as I walk out of the bathroom, I see the grill is covered with hamburgers. And Jaune is ooking each amd every one of them. Although he isn't Jaune anymore cause now hes being called Twilight.

And Twilight says "Put and gwnruxbw (idk) on that one."

And i pick up something and it looks like dough but in not sure and hover it over a hamburger, "This one?"

Still poking burgers, "Yes. That's the cold one. That's Wild's."

And im pretty sure, somewhere, I realize we are forgetting one for Sokka and two others. But, I dont question it amd drop the dough onto the burger. But then the burger swallows the dough and became huge. After staring at it for awhile, I woke up. Fun.

I was stopped at a red light behind two cars. Both cars started to go and so did I the next thing I knew I had hit the car in front of me. The car in front of me hit the car in front of him. I'm an older full-time college student and my husband works full-time at Walmart. In the past three years, I've been through 4 cancer related surgeries, which were paid for by the breast/cervical cancer Medicaid program. Unfortunately, follow up care and monitoring aren't covered and I was dropped from Medicaid. I'm now on my husband's health insurance, which is basically worthless because our income is under $20,000/yr and the policy has a $4500 deductible plus 20% after. I haven't seen my oncologist for over a year because we can't afford the expensive scans, biopsies, and lab work associated with cancer follow-up with a deductible that high. I thought my situation would change in 2014 with Obamacare. I recently learned from the healthcare.gov website calculator that our income is low enough to qualify for expanded Medicaid (which our state decided not to expand), but I don't qualify for the health insurance subsidies I desperately need because the outrageous deductible health insurance from my husband's job covers spouses. How can a couple with an income so low they would qualify for expanded Medicaid be ineligible for subsidies? I am completely devastated over this and I don't know what to do. Not being able to afford cancer follow up care is putting my life in danger. Even if my husband's employer (Walmart) quit covering the spouses of full-time employees, I think that would only apply to new hires because of the grandfather clause. If getting subsidies was based on income alone the way it should be instead of access to employer provided coverage, I would qualify for a zero deductible policy and $3 co-pays with a monthly premium of around $60. I could then afford the expensive health care I need. We live in a college town so if my husband got a different job, he'd make even less than he does now and we would probably end up homeless. If my husband transfers and we move to a state that's expanding Medicaid, I'll have to quit school and get rid of my German Shepherd and Siberian Husky since it's almost impossible to find a landlord that allows them. We thought another option might be to get a divorce on paper and co-habitate until our situation changes (completing my degree and getting a good job so I can afford the deductible), then re-marry. When I asked about that, someone actually accused me of wanting to commit fraud! How can anyone think of something like fraud when a situation is endangering someone's life? It feels great to write again, just got out from a writing block

"You're being irrational." He sighed in pure annoyance and rolling his eyes at his lover, whose scoffed and crossed her arms in disbelief at hearing his words.

"Am I? Or is it you that is so hard to stop being so damn arrogant for once?"

He let his pen go and hit his office's desk to send her a glare, clearly displeased by her choice of words. Normally, if it was anyone else, they would be quivering in fear at only one look of his; but this was (Y/n) whose he was talking with.

The girl was just as stubborn as him, and never once trembled neither widen her eyes in fear of him. Which caused at first for him to be extremely annoyed.

"Don't give me that look." She scowled "You know that you're in the wrong side this time."

"Sure." He scoffed sarcastically while returning his attention to his papers "Like ever argument that we have right? Oh, my bad." He send her one glare while arching his eyebrow up "You never once was right in neither of those, so what makes you think that this time is different?"

"Because it was wrong from you!" You said in exasperation "Just because a guy touched me asking for information you overhauled the poor man! Why?!"

"He was sick." He said through gritted teeth, after half of a hour of this nonsense he was getting way too impatient "Apologies if I was trying to prevent the same happening for you dearest." He said in venom sarcasm.

"Kai this is not even protecting, this is madness!" You exclaimed while his eyes grew darker and darker by the minutes it passed.

Half an hour later it passed with you two discussing and the words only got darker and offensive. His skin was already interrupting in hives while you at least tried to reason with him, but he was not having it.

"For crying out loud why can't you listen to me for once?!" You were almost ripping your hair out while he coldly stared at you, but the red spots growing on his skin showed you that he was just as fed up as you were.

"Because apparently I am dating a fucking idiot who can't even know when someone is sick or not." He said while glaring daggers in your eyes before he sighed more to himself "Why did I put myself so low to be with you?"

The moment those words left his mouth he immediately widened his eyes in realization before he looked at your hurt yet shock expression. He knew already all about your insecurities, he knew that sometimes you thought you were too little for him even if it was the exact opposite... yet he said those things.

"... (Y/n). I didn't meant that." He tried to extend his hand but you quickly took a step back away from him.

"Sorry." You said between gritted teeth as you tried to hold back the tears "But I don't want to hear it. Not anymore."

He didn't even blinked and you were already out of his office, even despite his shouts for you to come back, you didn't.

He growled out loud before propting down against his chair and resting his forehead on his gloved hand with a sigh.

You were just being childish. You knew already all about his personality and such. He just needed to give time for both of you to calm down to later sorta this thing out... maybe if he sended a precept to buy something for you would ease his issue a bit...

Returning to his work was a struggle since the only thing that sticked to his kind and made his heart clench in a horrible way was seing the hurt in your expression and the tears threating to escape from your lashes....

He growled in displeasure as his worry grew at seing another room of his house without even the sign of his lover.

No one in the base neither saw you after that petty discussion. And he was almost even expecting the damn rooftop to see if he could find you at this point.

Normally he would think that he would sound pathetic at calling your cellphone, but he was actually worried at this point.

It ringed for a bit as he walked around in the house and shortly after he scowled at hearing the ring of your cellphone coming from you guys shared room... so you were going to do that huh?

He growled again, scratching only a bit his arm before placing his cellphone back on his pocket. Noticing Chrono walking towards him he immediately arched his eyebrow, demanding answers from his commurate.

"She left."

"How and why didn't that good for nothing stoped her?" He growled while Chrono shrugged. "Where?"

"We... have no idea." He gulped a bit at the way those golden orbs darkened at his words while he turned and walked away.

He was close to his own room before he saw Pops enjoying a cup of tea on the living room. The elder, noticing his sucessor looking at him, mentioned with his hand for Chisaki to join him on the living room.

"My boy you surely surpassed yourself this time." Teh elder commented while chisaki took a seat, the young man stoically watching his eyebrows "It takes a lot to anger my daughter in law." He sipped a bit on his black tea with a serious face "And considering that I know her less than you do... I can tell you didn't measure your words. At all."

He furrowed his eyebrows before scoffing and looking at the ceiling in annoyance.

"She came talking with you then? So mature..."

"Well, I came to her actually. After all, poor thing was crying rivers alone."

His chest tightened at hearing his mentor saying such things as he hesitantly looked back at the elder, eyes closed and cup still on his hand.

"So I take it you know where she is.." the elder nodded, still eyes closed.

"You got nothing to worry. She went to spend sometime on her grandparents house, so her safety is assured."

"You can't be sure of that." He hissed while Pops sighed, finally opening hiis eyes to look properly at Chisaki with a sympathetic frow on his forehead.

"Chisaki. I take that this girl is important for you. But you also dont measure your words and actions and even if by accident hurts her deeply." He grunted a bit to lift himself "My advice is that you don't just go barging onto her family's house demanding her back. I know you. Just give some time."

The young man glared daggers at the ground while he interlocked his gloved hands together, tensing up a bit at the hand of Pops on his shoulder.

"I know how much you value her, and didn't meant those words... But you always take things way too far Chisaki." He patted Kai's shoulder a bit before lefting the young yakusa boss alone on the room, alone with his thoughts and nothing less.

Three days. Three miserable days and you still didn't even dare to send him some message if you were even alive or not.

He took Pops advice, secretly hoping that by the next day you would appear amd apologize for being long for ao long... but that didn't happened.

He was way too prideful also to admit he was fucking wrong and to look after you like some desperate dog... he felt miserable and even more less patience with his subbordinates than ever, so much that he almost overhauled Rappa for only calling him 'overjerk' on his back... something that normally he wouldn't even mind to care neither bother to be irritated with.

With your absence it came also his longing for sleep. He wouldn't admit out loud, but you were the main reason he had so many good nights of sleep; without any warnings at nights or the constant night terrors he at the past chosed to ignore it.

The guilty was slowly building up after this, he only felt disgusting shivers and scowled when he remembered those words he spoke to you and even if he sat on his office chair he would see the image replaying like a damn broken CD....

He was rubbing his temple with both hand s as he tried to concentrate on reading the tax in front of him before a knocked interrupted his actions.

"Say your name and business. And I hope is something important." He growled before the door opened slowly, the minute he went to argue with teh poor soul entering he widen his eyes a bit when he saw you entering a bit hesitantly and closing the door from behind you.

"Hey..." you said awkwardly, eyes more interested om his bookshelf than anything as you rubbed a bit your arm.

He blinked a bit before he gulped the thick air stuck on his throat.

"Y... you're back."

"I guess." You said with a bit of discomfort in your voice, probably because ever since you entered he didn't took his eyes out of you.

He slowly pushed himself up to walk towards you, some inches apart from you as your eyes were still locked with the bookshelf.

"I... I am..." he scoffed at hearing himself talking "Apologies... I didn't meant any of those atrocities, but it doesn't either erase the pain you must have felt on that time... neither me admiting will heal this, I know..."

You finally looked at him and this time it was his turn to avert his eyes from you, ashamed of his actions and the way he made the person he cared for deeply feel.

"... I should have at least told you where I was expending, I heard taht you were worried-"

"No, no." He interrupted, lifting one of his palm in gesture as the other one rubbed a bit his temple "You at least told Pops about it... neither was a obligation."

"... you mean that?" You asked, while.he looked at you in confusion "Your apology, you mean it?"

"... of course." He looked a bit down, eyes furrowed while glaring at the floor "The last thing I want is to dissapoint or hurt you... yet, I did and do thsi constantly without even noticing it...

You sighed a bit, opening your arms to wrap them around your lover carefully, feeling his body tense at the contact immediately but surprisingly relaxing shortly minutes after.

When he felt your slung coming in contact with his he swore he could feel his heartbeat almost exploding and body erupting into flames... he didn't had noticed that after three days he came to crave to feel again that angelic touch of yours on his rough skin, merely taking all of his discomfort and unpleasant nights as only annoyance of your actions...

"For you to apologize it takes a lot..." you squeezed him bit while he let out a rather shaky breath and awkwardly wrapped his arms around your midsection "I thought that you were just simple going to ignore or let go of it.."

"I couldn't." He said while brushing his fingers through your hair as he rested his head on yours "Yet you even accelt this apology...?" He frowned at feeling your nodding on his neck as he tightened his embrace on you "I will make it up... trust me angel. I will."

"Looking forward to it..." after what felt like years, he felt at ease at feeling your lips in contact with his bare skin, forming that sweet smile he came to love.
