me when i see the fic trope where someone goes nonverbal and then communicates via ASL or written notes:

this could be a personal thing, but to me going nonverbal = THIS MACHINE IS OFF THE PUBLIC WIFI, DATA WILL NOT GO IN OR OUT

LIKEE when ur baseline is communicating via many channels (including speech), you lose all those channels together (wifi/cell signal goes out) -- it's not a selective channel issue (whatsapp crashing)

I wanna start this by saying how much I absolutely love your work, both your writing and art. 💕 I get so so so excited when I see a notification on AO3, it makes my day! And don’t get me started on the pinstripe animal skulls you do- it’s such a sweet way to honour their bones - my shakey hands could NEVERR 😵‍💫

I won’t take up too much of your time but I just wanted to share a little theory-idea I have about the possible meeting between Lightshow and Butterfly. I hope it doesn’t sound too far-fetched but I can’t stop thinking about it:

Lightshow is described in Gladiators of Kaon as having two wheels, so potentially she could take up a moped alt-mode when she comes to Earth. In Book 1 of Leaking Spark,  Butterfly talks about her old moped she absolutely adored but it broke and she couldn’t use it anymore (from what I can remember anyways). 

So, when Butterfly conveniently sees her dream moped on the side of the road or on sale for a bargain price - I haven’t really thought this part through tbh - she’s over the moon and takes it home with her. 

Butterfly gives her newly-acquired prized possession a cool new sparkly pinstripe paint job like she did with Knockout in Book 1. And then, here comes the juicy part 👀, when Soundwave comes around to Butterfly’s house she is showing off her new moped. He freezes and he’s like “holy sh*t my (ex?)girlfriend-babymama-lightofmylife is in my (girlfriend?)’s garage!?” 

(We don’t know the circumstances of Lightshow’s absence yet from the Decepticons as we only get mention from Soundwave and Megatron? I can’t remember lol, about them missing Lightshow. But, considering the author’s habit of breaking our poor human hearts with all this ANGST, I’m sure it’s something as equally heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹. Why must you do this to ussssss? 😭😔)

Que the emotionally catastrophic reunion between Lightshow and Soundwave in poor Butterfly’s garage AND THE SYMBIOTES AWWW STOP I CAN’T THE REAL THING IS GOING TO BE SO SAD 😣 Butterfly just watches her moped-turned-metal-titan-goddess transform and she’s like :0 

Butterfly and Lightshow are gonna be the bestest friends ever - what if they even become Amica Enduras?! 😳🥹They’re  totally have pamper sessions with one another and gossip about the Decepticons and Autobots. 🧖‍♀️💅💕

AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON MEGATRON AND LIGHTSHOW’S REUNION 😭. Lightshow needs to come save tweakatron from his crippling dark Energon addiction fr. Girl come get your man 😩

okay so first; buwhahahaa i may or may not write a one-shot drabble with this as a prompt since it tickles my art muse, but I can say.... Nope, that's not how Butterfly will meet Lightshow ;)

You are gonna, hopefully, fucking LOVE the drama of how miss glowbug is both reintroduced into the story, and particualrly her meeting with Butterfly and her subsequent reunion with her buddies from the past.

I am -DYING- to have Lightshow in moped alt mode with Butterfly riding on her. Yes. Those two ladies are absolutely gonna be besties because Decepticon High Command needs at least two (2) badass women to take care of their needy emotions and a reason to fix their bad habits muauahuAHUAHAHAHA (while also not dying.)

Problem: "how the FUCK do I give this story a happy eventual ending with a bright and wonderful future for our MCs, without Megatron KILLING BUTTERFLY AND BEING HIMSELF AND TURNING THE STORY INTO SUPER DEPRESSINGNESS."

Answer: LIGHTSHOW. COME GET UR MAN.

I have a very distinct and vivid image for how Lightshow reunites with Megatron and I don't know if I'll get to put it in the story but if I don't Imma write it as a one-shot because it has GRIPPED MY ART MUSE BY THE THROAT.

All I'll say is the meme "I can fix him if I fuck him hard enough" was not meant to be taken literally but Lightshow is totally gonna take it literally.
