Anaesthetic / nonaesthetic / a-aesthetic (anae for short) flags part 1 :> 🌸 (Due to the image limit, this is split into 2 posts.)

I noticed some a-spec flags were missing tertiary counterparts, so I made some. Some of these flags have already been made before, so they're not all original (I still wanted to have all the flags together in a set, and all in the same res).

I'll also note that some of these terms can have multiple names, with the "aesthetic", "anaesthetic", "nonaesthetic", "a-aesthetic", & "anae" part being interchangeable. This isn't applicable to every term though. I also chose not to list everything to try to keep it brief. So for example, greyaesthetic can also be called greyanaesthetic, greynonaesthetic, and greyanae.

The Anae, Children of Neocal [text in image below]  - Odd number and shaped eyes - Typically darker tones with red eyes and light blue protrusions  - Tend to be bottom heavy - The fully capped example is how a typical capped Anae would look  - If the Anae themself are light colored, the cap and roots will be daker - Capped Anae are blind but can see Spores* - The Capped Anae act as defenders and advisors in their kingdom  Anae are medium sized creatures of this world, averaging at around 3′-4′. The protrusions on their heads are gifts from Neocal. It is how the Anae are able to reproduce and keep their kingdom going after Neocal seemingly lost their ability to make more spores. 

The Capped Anae are all known to be blind, but they can essentially see the life force of the world around them through Spores, which is this world’s magic. 

Anae who are capable of magic are Capped, their magic, while not confined to any one shape like all magics, is generally defensive. The most common visage of this magic used is by shifting the earth around them to either make pits or walls, while others seem to glow brightly and reflect the Spores of others back at them. 

Their society is completely within the chest cavity of their creator, Neocal, whom now protects them with their life. Their society used to be rather advanced, but Acos’ waters have washed that all away. The Anae collect the remnants of their old kingdom as Neocal travels the earth to keep the cycle moving. 

Since they have no contact with other kingdoms, they don’t have a specialized product they offer for trade, instead the Anae have learned to do a little bit of everything. How to grow fruits under the earth, how to cultivate the soil around them for their every day needs, how to find underground water sources, and how to construct sturdy and long-lasting buildings with limited supplies. 

The main protagonist of this world, Cota, is an Anae, though it should be noted that Cota’s Cap does not come from Neocal. Somehow, the young mushroom had been bestowed Spores and a Cap from Mother Mycelline themself.
