Okay so I don't know if you've heard of the song "Candyman" by Flyana Boss but it has been absolutely stuck in my head for the past week and the chorus for some reason SCREAMS mctwinks to me 💀 I just imagine Lando calling Oscar all these cheesy petnames like "my little gumdrop" and "my little nutter butter" and it just esclates to even more ridiculous ones like "my little snchookums bear" LMAO

the people on reddit being confused about this is so funny because I Get It. still, it bears discussing:

dune and wicked being at the top does make sense since they're previously established fandoms, and a lot of those are probably just tagging the new movies as well. also, gelphie is gelphie.

conclave having 200+ works is not surprising. the only thing surprising is that it only has 200+ works. honestly, i expected more. one person on reddit was like 'well yeah, nuns are a staple of horny fiction!' and everyone else was like 'honey...'.

substance and anora with about 40 is about what i expected, they're not the most fanfic-inspiring types of movie, tho i can imagine some cute ani/igor or wacky substance hijinks.

the brutalist having 15 is wild because if you've seen the movie you can probably imagine what kind of fics they are. equal parts concerning and totally understandable. there aren't more because not everyone can commit to writing smut for a 3hr30 slow american epic.

a complete unknown is weird because you'd think people would be all over RPFing bob dylan, but maybe that all falls in another tag. nobody saw ACU is more like it.

Since I know a lot of people missed the f1 75, here is my (spoiler-less) personal best of… plus points of wild things that happened:

1) Lando getting asked and confirming he “Netflix and chilled” during the winter break followed by a question about him getting a nipple piercing???? What was that even about????

2) the smiles- they are so soft

3) that one moment with Alex and Carlos where, once Carlos looks at him, Alex starts smiling

- honestly it’s the head tilt and the big smile that’s getting me all soft and mushy

with the recent rise of fans posting ai generated pics of the drivers and trying to pass it off as real, I was wondering how many drivers are sponsored/have posted gen ai themselves. this is not to cancel anyone (lol my guy is on this), but out of genuine curiosity. the list isn't comprehensive, just whoever I could find from a single google search.

to be transparent, I did not include endorsements of ai that's used for data for the f1 cars bc I think that's a genuinely useful application. rather this is specifically generative AI, the image/video and text generator. also putting up conpanies they've personally worked with, not the scummy AI character chat that stole their likeness

Whenever I see a post with people that say that the hate on Lando has come out of nowhere and people have no reasons to, I’m like; you know what, maybe you’re right and some people did start to hate on him because that’s popular.

But it’s also very funny to try to reduce the dislike people can have for a driver by saying “you have no real arguments, you just jump on the train”, because you don’t want to hear your favorite driver has done and said things that soured his reputation, when it’s actually “no, babe, I’ve been finding him insufferable for years, but this year he has reached a peak, and I could list you the reasons why he gets on my nerves, but you probably would brush it off anyway”.
