Figuwhump Day 20
[ID: A pencil drawing. A woman with short dark hair, wide-set eyes, and a scar on her face reclines in a rectangular, thick-barred cage. She rests her hands on the cage bars, and her legs are partly bent - she looks casual, but her position cannot be comfortable. Chains run from the corners of the cage to outside the frame of the picture, holding it in mid-air. End ID.]
I was initially going to use a bonus image for this day, but was inspired to instead just change the cage so it's less of a big dog cage and more of a horizontal gibbet cage! Because I love gibbets. Anyway, not sure Tsetsig has been imprisoned in anything exactly like this before, but she might have been.

so the netflix show has already shown us two of dream's other aspects, kai'ckul and the king of cats, but one of my favourite things about the endless in the comics is that they have a different incarnation for every single species and culture that has ever experienced them, in this case, if your people dream, you have a personalised Dream
and the comics are also part of the dcu, which means there are a LOT of other species out there to dream
many of these screenshots were taken from one issue which involves a meeting in dream's head between all of his different incarnations, some are just from other places in the comic, but my personal favourites include:
l'zoril, dream god of the green martians
to fill out the superheroes requirement, kryptonian dream
fish dream
flower dream, and tree dream
femme dream, with just as much dedication to not wearing a shirt as her masculine counterpart
bird dream, insect dream, and robotic insect dream
two different kinds of cat person
these funky lil guys
whatever is going on here with the tentacle robot, the teen titans looking motherfucker, the dragon, and the guy in the witch hat (all equally dream of the endless)
a literal stone statue that speaks mostly in egyptian hieroglyphs
and then there's this guy

Just reblogged art of Astarion covering Tav's mouth to shut them up and now I have a mighty need to write about Astarion and Tav in Baldur's Gate, separated from the rest of the party for a reason or another, in a romantic relationship, coming across one of those person Astarion do NOT want to come across because of shit he did in the past, so he drags Tav into a nearby alley, pins them against the closest wall, covers their mouth with his hand and whispers, firmly: "Not. A sound."
And he's busy checking they don't get caught but Tav is just standing there, having no idea what's happening, but letting Astarion doing what he wants because they trusts him, and thinking to themselves: "Hm. That's hot actually."
