I'm playing Judgement, a yakuza spin off game
And its so fucking funny like I hear in reviews it's story is SO good but I also hear do NOT search more about the story you will spoil it and you'll enjoy it more being surprised. And like yeah that tracks, it's a detective game so the mystery is part of the fun. But also I really reallyyyy want to know why the story is considered so freaking amazing. The last game I controlled my curiosity on was Nier Automata. And yes, that game was worth knowing nothing besides "play 5 times." I was spoiled on Drakengard 3 though and that was still fun af. Point is I'm just so curious what makes Judgements story so utterly Great. Because sure, it's fun and well written so far. But it also doesn't seem any more impressive than Yakuza 7 Like a Dragon using corrupt politicians and purity culture Bleach protestors to make interesting commentary.... Judgement looks to be going in a government critique, corporations loving money more than peoples wellbeing angle, crime and government and corruption ties. But I'm not seeing anything mindblowing or particularly unique yet (I'm in like chapter 6 I think?). I'm sure it'll be a good fun detective story with meaningful writing. I'm not nearly as sure it'll be anything so amazing I'll think of the story as a step above. But then also like... if a story sucks or characterization arcs suck, I will not even play a game. So I'm comparing Judgement to other good games, and it's matching that fine. If the norm for detective games or crime games is shit weak stories, then yeah I imagine Judgement would stand out... but I also would have no idea it stands out compared to something else.
I also saw Judgement described as Ace Attorney mixed with Yakuza and YEAH. FUCK. For both better or worse lol. As you know, Yakuza games are one part intense angst sad times crime drama in game form, and one part balls to the wall silly shit (you'd have to play to see what I mean but a chicken as your real estate manager, a bug fighting card game where you wrestle nearly naked women, fighting people as a cute mascot, stopping a ghost haunting scam, your rival stripping for you, are just a few ordinary yakuza game moments). Judgement is the same, in that it's serious parts could equate to a well written crime drama I'd watch (and that will probably make me sob), and it's silly parts include stopping a panty stealing stalker and getting so drunk Yagami nearly dies to help pay a friend's friends tuition at a host club and pretending to be Dracula in a press interview. I love a mix of intense angst heavy drama that makes me contemplate life, and silly wild shit that's oddly heart warming (it's probably all Kingdom Heart's fault and Yakuza games also offer this nice combo). Well... sometimes Judgement gives you some Ace Attorney bullshit exactly as silly as Ace Attorney, which is fun. You're solving the silliest fucking case, people are yelling ridiculous things, you're yelling objection, everything's fine. But then sometimes... Judgement will make you do crime solving of heavy plot shit you've been following for like 20 hours now and if you make a wrong choice or move you could fuck yourself utterly over and god is it STRESSFUL. I stopped playing the game for a month, came back to it, and the game expected me to remember the name of informant leads and murder victims and government agencies that had come up in prior interviews like 10 hours prior (and a whole month prior since I took time off playing). And my brain doesn't remember long term well lmao. I was drowning on the edge of my seat guessing blindly hoping I fucking guessed right on intuition because I had no idea a jdrama style bulk of scenes was going to Lead to me needing to come to detective conclusions and decisions without any Time prior to look at the Case Files. (And thank fuck for the Case Files area in the game, for people like me who forgot fucking everything during game breaks). It's like Ace Attorney except I fear losing 6 hours of game progress and dying, and my poor cute friends of Yagami getting killed or something, if I fuck up a main story case. Now... maybe it's more rigidly structured than I think and its hard to Actually Fuck up a main plot section... but it does not Feel rigid, it feels like you can fuck up at any moment, and in a way thats cool cause you also feel very much like Yagami. It makes the emotional elements of the game work well, because it makes it easy to care the way the protagonist Yagami is caring and feeling. And just like him, I sure feel stressed and like I'm gonna fail (again) horrifically as a lawyer and get people killed. The Yakuza games NEVER made me feel this much dread, because ultimately yakuza games come down to following through the plot and winning the fights (or dying and retrying the fights). Because Judgement makes me actually have to piece together things, gives chances to pick dumb options that will fuck me over or at least feel like they will (in contrast to Yakuza where if you pick the dumb option it's funny and never results in game over). It definitely feels like PLAYING a crime drama. Which I find fun but very Intense at times.
For that reason alone, I'd recommend it if you're into crime dramas or detective games or action games with mysteries. The crime solving investigation moments are probably not super involved or hard (or I'd give up), but the overall effect of everything together does feel like a good experience where you feel like a detective in this kind of story. And being a Yakuza series type story, it's heavy as hell emotionally with good characters.
Then of course. Judgement, like all Yakzua games, is really pretty. Realistic character models with good acting, an apparently excellent English dub (though I'm playing the Japanese version which is great as expected), a very pretty and detailed virtual experience of the city (which all the yakuza games nail), fun action combat (that's easy enough to learn but complicated enough to get more involved in it Than I do), various fun things to do (racing, mini games like playing Mortal Kombat inside the game, investigating, tools, side stories of various wild things to do).

i always love an update post, they make me feel like we’re gossiping lol
if you’re in the mood to post one i will be reading it like a dad reading over the morning paper at the breakfast table trust
also now that i’m caught up with ur acc happy belated anniversary <3
-🧚🏼‍♀️
— link.
thank you very much!
what me and beef did for our anniversary was rly fun so i’m gonna give you an update page on that. i ended up falling asleep at 9pm the night prior bcos i was so exhausted from work and preparing for the anniversary day. woke up at 4am which he was already awake and we got to kiss on each other and go back to sleep together until we were ready to get started around noon.
we went to our fave coffee place and got drinks and pastries and went to a park with a lake to watch while we enjoyed each other’s company and had our food. he got a pumpkin cake and iced coffee, i got a chocolate croissant and chai and we shared.
then at home, we rented a movie he picked (rescue dawn with christian bale i believe it’s called) and i found my favorite robin hood movie on tubi (the adventures of robin hood with errol flynn). he doesn’t like movies made before the 2000s and i dont like high intensity war movies so both he and i have short attention spans when it comes to movies especially these movies, so we set timers to watch thirty minutes of my movie, thirty minutes of his, and then switch off playing ghost of tsushima (he has a game on his profile on my ps4 and i have a game on my profile) and we did that cycle until it was time to go to dinner
when i go out to eat, i like it to be luxurious. i like options. i like to be there a while. i don’t get to do that often, and we saved a lot of money to be able to do it this time. we went to our favorite italian restaurant and we dressed comfy bcos we knew we were about to feast. sweatpants and hoodies so we could have a proper comfy food coma
here’s how it went. we knew what we wanted to eat, but we wanted to take our sweet sweet time. we were expecting to be there about an hour and a half maybe more, and made sure to be there two hours before their closing time so we didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t cut into the staffs cleaning.
i ordered our drinks, two waters, a shirley temple for me with extra cherries and a sprite for him bcos we need sweet drinks as well as hydration. we settle in, we get comfortable. we always sit next to each other in a big booth and we were secluded in the far side of the restaurant everything is perfect. all of our supplies like wallets and keys etc everything in our pockets was set aside to the far part of the table out of our way. we drink our drinks, we eat our complimentary bread and oil and herbs, we fill the time. he doesn’t want an appetizer, but i want my favorite dish in the whole world right now. a fat ball of burrata, halved lil tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil, and balsamic. it’s divine. it’s fresh. it’s light. we’re sharing our appetizer and we’re pacing ourselves. he doesn’t like tomatoes but he’s eating them on the bread and he’s saying it’s a rare moment for him and the cheese makes it better. i’m having such a swell time
when our waitress comes back we tell her we want a little more time to pick out our entrees, we’re living in luxury rn. we talk to her about some wine choices that go well with pasta, tell her what we’re celebrating. three whole years together.
since i don’t wanna eat too much too fast (i like picking off of options) i set aside the appetizer. when he pick out our entrees we pick out a side which we both chose chicken soup. the chicken soup comes first. it’s my favorite chicken soup. the only stuff i wanna eat when i’m so sick and need a good warm meal with a kick to clear my sinuses.
i also ordered a glass of wine to share with him bcos neither of us are alcohol people but i’m trying to get laid later and i wanna be loose and happy and have a little wine with my self indulgent dinner. the waitress helped me pick out a red wine thatll go with my pasta.
then our pasta (and wine) comes, both a type of ravioli. his is more cheesy like ricotta and i chose lobster. i love shellfish. if i could live off of lobster and crab i would. we share our pastas :) we drown them in parmesan. we have a little wine
she comes back to ask me if i like what she chose for me, and i explain that she picked a great choice but i just don’t like alcohol at all. she comes back with a sample of a more expensive bottle and its a lot smoother and she told me snuck me it.
dessert time comes and we pick tiramisu bcos i haven’t had it in years and its terrible when you buy it from the store, she says it’s on the house for our anniversary. we share it :)
we pack up all our foods, all our breads, soups, pastas, appetizers, and dessert and give our waitress one hefty tip and chug the rest of the wine. after an hour and a half of self indulgent blatant luxury and gross misuse of american earned funds we’re out of there and i’m wine drunk bcos it hits me all at once. beef makes sure i’m buckled in and we get home to go back to our movies and games and pick off our leftovers every so often and he takes good good care of me

On Godzilla's voice, cuz I've seen a few people weigh in on it:
I do like the Kratos idea. Fits very well and I hadn't actually heard that as his headcanon voice before. I've actually heard and had this exact conversation a lot with people lol, so here's some other ones I've heard as well as my own personal HC for this.
Surprisingly, I've heard Iron Bull more for Goji than I have Kong. Granted, in the same breath I've also heard Ramon Tikaram (voice of Godrick in Elden Ring, Ramattra in Overwatch, someone from FF16 who's name I can't remember and doesn't show up on IMDB, and most importantly Dorian Pavus from DA:I) as Ichi's voice. I actually really vibe with Ichi sounding like Dorian just because I think it's funny, but yeah I can also see why you'd have him sounding much more menacing having written Abraxas. Also the implication of Goji being Bull and Ichi being Dorian is equally funny to me.
A long time ago someone made the connection between Mothra and Aerith from FF7 and that has lived in my head rent free for so long that I can never unhear it. Had a brief period when I thought of Goji sounding like Cloud, eventually abandoned that for my actual HC in the next paragraph.
The voice I personally hear him with is Daisuke Tsuji's Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. Someone (I think it was Dougherty, can't remember exactly tho) once described Legendary Goji's personality as 'The Last Samurai' archetype, and I guess that really stuck with me when I played Tsushima. Jin's just general- everything- in that game reminds me of Goji a lot. He's protecting his domain from those that seek to conquer it or do it harm, calm and stoic with rare bursts of emotion, can occasionally be snarky or humorous with people he trusts, etc. Idk he just really does it for me lol.
(just now checking his imdb and realizing he also voiced Scorpion in the newest mortal kombat and a fortnite character lmfao)
Y'know, I've only ever heard the Japanese dub for Ghost of Tsushima (I keep forgetting there's an English dub), but I'd say Jin's Japanese VA might be good for Goji as well. I wanna say Gareth Edwards was the one who made the samurai comparison? It feels appropriate considering Goji was characterized as old and tired in 2014.
...Aaaaaand now I'm picturing a gijinka Ichi trying to grow out some facial hair appropriate of his Kingly Status and ends up with Dorian's silly hipster 'stache and nobody takes him seriously because of it. (Ni gets mutton chops and San a goatee; they only have a full beard if they're in one body.)
"TAKE ME SERIOUSLY, DAMMIT!"
"Uh-oh! Look out, guys, Hipster McObscure from the 2010s is mad about the mainstream! He's gonna wear a scarf ironically because it's warm outside!"
"I'M TRYING TO GO FOR CAREY ELWES CIRCA ROBIN HOOD: MEN IN TIGHTS! I DON'T KNOW WHY I HAVE A CURLY MUSTACHE!!"

So game plan right now is:
Finish AC Valhalla (about 1/2 way through rn)
Finish Ghost of Tsushima (barely started)
Start the Mass Effect Legendary edition (3 games lol)
But! I’m kind of excited for mass effect so I might push it up and finish GOT after. Or! Might do the unthinkable and attempt to be playing more than one game at a time lmao
I also wanna try and work in a FC5 replay, possibly with someone else, and maybe stream it. I will let y’all know ;)
I’d also like to get back to cyberpunk at some point and develop Valor more but uuuuh we’ll see

It makes me sad there is hardly any content for the ghost of tsushima games. And its such a good game.
I dunno if its because of the whole thing of it not getting as much love as other games when it came out. Or if it's people fearing of doing any x readers, self inserts or ocs. Like y'all do it with other period/history based anime, games and movies, why is this any different? This hasn't stopped people.
But for some reason there isn't any content. Maybe art here n there. But hardly anyone writes about the characters.
I honestly don't know the reason why there is such little to no content. You'd think people would be all over it.
But maybe people still have this weird prejudice about games based around asian cultures,i know it's not always the case tho. Specifically Japanese culture, that isn't anime like or modern era based. And if it is period or more history based. Then its always during the edo or meiji periods. Which dont get me wrong. Is pretty interesting. And still great. But japan has a rich history and many periods to base your stories after. Feudal japan is quite interesting in itself. Maybe prejudice is a strong word. I dunno it's just people are weird about certain themes in stories I've noticed. Maybe im reading too much into it.
Heck a lot of the feudal history throughout human history is interesting.
I know some people just aren't into it. Anf thats fine. I just am curious. Again this isn't to point fingers or vent.
I just am genuinely and innocently curious as to why this fandom is so small.
But if you aren't looking for realism for any x reader or fic material for this game. There is plenty of mythos in the game you can play off of.
I just feel so sad this is a missed opportunity for creativity too.
And also trying to find content is like finding a match in a wet cave. 😔
I can make my own content for sure. But its just sad hardly anyone does it too.
I just wanna know would y'all write or makes ocs or self inserts for this game? Or am i alone here?
Because i made one. But i feel awkward sharing it. Because id feel like the only one here doing it. 👉🏻👈🏻

That weird emptiness after completion
Tumblr media
Yesterday, after over 270 hours throughout last 8 months, I finished Elden Ring. And it feels weird. It's bittersweet.
To begin with, it was never even a game I intended to play. My boyfriend challenged me to try to see how I would play, and reluctantly I tried. I happened to find a playstyle that worked for me, and in all the places where he struggled I breezed through. And that god me hooked. I felt proficient, I could choose my battles, I controlled my pace. It got to the point where I sprang way ahead of him at his game (which wasn't very appreciated), so I slowed down and took a break for a few weeks.
Every time I though I was done with the game, he would nudge me back to it, and again reluctantly I would. It's always so hard to get back to open world games, where you have to remember what all the stuff in your inventory does, where to go next, who had a quest for you etc. And in many ways Elden Ring makes that harder than other games without any quest log. But also it's smart, because it conditions us to remember, as any unfinished tasks stays in our memory, and especially if it's not written down anywhere. So even during my times off from Elden Ring I would still remember the quests and people I needed to talk to and continue.
Tumblr media
Before I knew I fell in love with the game world, that epic sense of scale, the unique environments that I have never seen anywhere else. Most of those 270 hours I spent just exploring, running through the grassy and snowy plains to first discover Sites of Grace and map parts, without engaging with the enemies, and then re-running them when I was ready for combat.
At first I really wanted to avoid the "legacy dungeons" (again seeing my partner's many deaths and struggles in those). In the end I got to love those too, with Leyndell and Haligtree becoming my favorites.
I never actually thought I'd finish the game. I thought it would get too hard and I would not manage. And yes, it was hard at times (looking at you, Rennala), but I always managed, and it felt good to finally have that win after so many failures.
As I was approaching the end and struggling a lot against Maliketh and Malenia, I realized how much those fights reminded me of my struggles (and eventual victories) against bosses in Devil May Cry 3. I remember counting over 30 tries in a row on some of the bosses there. Elden Ring made me feel like I did those many years ago - willing to give up, but still pushing through, because I was emotionally invested in a tragic story that I wanted to see through to the end.
Tumblr media
So now I'm done. And it feels so empty. Back in the day I would just start over another run of DMC3 and another until I've beaten the hardest difficulty, and then again, to improve my ratings and finish with as many S and SS rankings as I could. But Elden Ring is different. I am not ready for another 100+ hours run, and there's no point just running around a completed game.
Because Elden Ring was never on my to play list, I've been wanting to finish it just to be able to move on, but for now I can't move on - it just doesn't feel right. I don't wanna leave that world.
So me and my partner created new characters, to deal with that weird state of grief after completion. Again, I do not commit to completing the game. Only time will tell. I will dabble a bit, try out a completely different style of combat. Until the DLC comes, and then we will be back!
Tumblr media
This experience made me reflect on how it's so similar with other large open world games. Earlier this year I completed Hogwarts Legacy - and it felt just as empty. As I approached the end I created 2 new characters to start the game over. After completion I sped-run the last part with one of the characters and that kinda did it. I felt I was done. Before that I completed Ghost of Tsushima which I also fell in love with. As soon as I finished the game I started NG+, I played half-way and got tired, I was ready to move on. Elden Ring though it's slightly different, because you can make each playthrough pretty unique, and it's so long that by the time you finish you don't really remember how it was in the beginning.
Let's see how far I get on this new character, but I hope I can move on soon, and finally get to the games I've been planning to play for a while, before Elden Ring.

Video game blogging:
Finished Horizon: Forbidden West (after 96 hours and change). I didn't liveblog this one, but I definitely enjoyed it and will play it again. I know Burning Shores comes out in like 3 days, but I think I'll do the same thing here I did with Zero Dawn and save the DLC for the second playthrough. Plus, I'm playing this through the PSPlus thing, but I do wanna get it on disc, so I'll pick up a definitive edition at some point or something.
Story-wise, I think I said earlier that this feels like a trilogy and now, after seeing the ending of this one, that feels even more true. Also, they had the perfect opportunity to write Sylens out, but didn't, so I'm still curious what they're gonna do now. Like, you can't just fridge him after that... he's GOT to be part of part 3 now, so are they gonna recast him or find some creative solution?
Anyway, I am currently downloading the PS5 upgrade for Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, as voted on by Tumblr, which I very well might liveblog because it does gangbusters on here apparently. But I don't know that I'll start that tonight and I have a seminar paper to write in the next couple of weeks, so it might be a slow start. We'll see how it goes.
After that... well, it's gonna depend on how that goes. I have a preorder of Final Fantasy XVI and will be doing that when it comes out. And I do wanna get Tears of the Kingdom at some point as well. But I'm hoping to maybe get through a couple interesting games this summer and I've got a long queue of games I have access to and want to play, including (but not necessarily limited to): Tactics Ogre: Reborn Jedi: Fallen Order The Last of Us, Part II Dragon Quest XI Tails of Iron Ghosts of Tsushima Kingdom Hearts III Spider Man: Miles Morales Deathloop What Remains of Edith Finch Blasphemous Gravity Rush
And like... I haven't even looked at the classics catalog, really. And this is not including stuff I've started and want to go back and finish/redo (RDR2, Death Stranding, Like a Dragon, Nioh 2), or things I've been wanting to replay for a while (Sekiro, mostly, but also some of the early Final Fantasies, Fear Effect, a bunch of old stuff, actually).
Not enough goddamn hours in the day.

you built your own pc? damn I wish I could but it seems so scary lol… I have absolutely no experience with pc building and I’m not techy at all. I don’t wanna risk fucking it up so I’m thinking about buying a prebuilt 💔 I know people say they’re overpriced and not as good or whatever but anything’s better than my iMac😭😭 sorry that’s kind of random lol but I love your builds !! you’re so talented <3
nothing to be ashamed of if you feel more comfortable getting a pre-built over building it yourself, anon (: but i would 100% recommend doing a bit of research on a few sites so you know you're getting the best value for your money.
if you plan on purchasing a pre-built computer, try sites like nzxt, cyberpowerpc, ibuypower, bestbuy to get an idea of what kind of computer meets and exceeds the criteria for the games that you play / want to play. (i also recommend taking a gander on their 'same day shipping/same day ready' options since those are just waiting to be shipped out and already built) it'll then recommend you all the parts to achieve that. it will also tell you how much the estimate is for the entire pc, but before you decide to purchase it go to —
pcpartpicker & newegg to look up the prices of the parts that the first site recommended you in order to have a reference. of course, pre-builds/ custom pre-builds are more likely to cost more since they understandably factor in labor for putting the parts together.
the biggest pro i can think of when getting a pre-build pc is that the company you purchase from's warranty typically covers the entire pc vs. just individual parts like when building your own computer. i'm sure this was a lot to digest, but it pays to do a wee bit of research so you know you're not getting over-charged sfjgksndkg good luck, anon ((:
Tumblr media
not rude at all, anon but let's just say ;--; my 2020 tax return went straight to it sdnjfkns ts4 with all my mods (93.9 gbs now wtf) runs between 2-4 minutes on first start up 😌

hey mate! how is AC Valhalla so far?? I haven't bought it yet because I really liked AC Odyssey and I've seen a few changes not for the better in early access playthroughs on youtube etc. what you do think of it?
I’m only 1 hour in so far (gameplay, not including photomode-ing), but my suggestion is wait for the game to go on sale like ~$30 w/ season pass included, especially if your only concern about the game is fem!Eivor. After playing Ghost of Tsushima, AC Valhalla is miles and years behind. If you like Odyssey, I can’t say if you’ll like Valhalla. Pls go buy GoT this Black Friday instead.
The game is BUGGY rn (save files corruption, players can’t continue quests, navigation icons disappearing, etc.) I get it they release the game a week early to avoid CP2077 so they’ll probably need a few weeks to fix some game-breaking bugs.
Melee combat is worse than Origins now that they add stamina, horse has stamina too btw (lmao). Finishing moves are awesome, but in order to get there to watch that animation, get ready to suffer through 2015 combat mechanics. I have to go play GoT MP to cleanse myself afterwards (also cuz its combat mechanic is addicting and fun af, yet challenging).
I heard they add stealth but I don’t play as a Viking to do stealth. If I wanna play as a badass assassin, I’ll go play GoT Legends mode, even they got stealth right and not just combat. But I’ll probably resort to use stealth because the combat is unbearable.
You have to manually pick berries and fish to heal yourself, no medicine shop and no auto heal once you’re out of combat.
The skill tree is the worst I’ve seen. Expect to have like 200+ ability points or something because they don’t want to stress you with level, but you need 200 “power” instead lololol.
The story doesn’t hold my attention. I snooze whenever they talk about the cREeD. It’s good they are returning to their roots, I personally don’t care enough about AC to follow their ‘assassin’ story, lost interest after the Ezio trilogy. I play this game for one purpose: badass Viking lass, that’s it.
THERE ARE FEWER OUTFITS, probably around 11 or something excluding the Helix ones (which don’t seem to even have 1080p textures, talk about cross-gen title with mtx). No transmog (hopefully they’ll add it in later). Meanwhile, GoT outfits, oof! Also tattoos are great but they’re 720p at best (if you don’t take photos, this shouldn’t be a concern).
The navigation system is the worst among all the AC games I’ve played (Ezio, IV, Unity, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey). Marking a location on the map doesn’t do shit! I have to glue my eyes on the tiny ass compass on the top of the screen to see where I’m going. The bird is also useless, don’t bother using it except for photomode.
Your side quests aren’t tracked (yes, really, get ready to forget what side quest ya have cuz I don’t even know if I accept one or how many I have)
I don’t even know if I completely clear a location, the game doesn’t tell me

Which games are you looking at playing on the ps5? My favourites that I've played have definitely been Ghost of Tsushima, and the Mass Effect remaster was a delight. Miles Morales was... okay, but I've not had the opportunity to play some of the newer releases.
Definitely wanna keep playing the games I’ve already been playing with better loading times and possibly nicer textures like in the case of Bethesda games which have updates specifically for higher spec’d consoles (I don’t even have a Pro, just a base PS4). I’ve also been waiting *forever* to buy RDR2 so I can experience it on PS5. I think I’d finally buy the Mass Effect remaster too. Also Cyberpunk, I heard it’s fairly stable now. Control, FFVII remake (never played a FF game actually), Gran Turismo Sport and the new one coming out, get back into No Man’s Sky… There’s a lot of games I’ve been not playing because I’ve just been waiting. It’s ok though, I don’t really have much time anymore so I play games at a snail’s pace these days, but they’re not going anywhere and they’ll be heavily on sale by the time I get around to playing them haha.

Well, this is still awkward..

I'm still here in the psychiatric hospital. Probably have to stay here until friday. That's been 4 weeks. I'm so so tired and I wanna go home so bad. I can't wait to play some Ghost of Tsushima . Last sunday I started playing, until I had to go back to the hospital. Meh. Even my body reacted to me having to come back, I was so nauseous. With every fiber of me I didn't want to go back. But I had to, since I want to continue going to my therapists after I get released. And if I release myself early, I won't be able to go to them anymore. At least I got a new nice roommate today, an older lady, very reminiscent of my mom, in her appearance and definiteley her mannerisms. But I like her, can feel for her and identify with her problems. Yesterday I was officially diagnosed with schizophrenia and borderline. I'm still not too sure what that means for me. My schizophrenia isn't news to me, it's very paranoid. I sometimes am so afraid that there might be someone trying to hurt me or that someone listens to my conversations at all times. In some more clear moments I of course can see the reality, that no one is there to hurt me. But when the voice inside of me takes over I'm so so afraid. The voice is definitely something evil. She's female and will attack me at my weakest points . And sometimes I cannot fight her off anymore. Hence why I'm in hospital.
I'm also a bit afraid to got home. Will I do everything right? Or will I crumble again?
Right now the only thing that helps are my daydreams. I currently dream of the ATLA world and have kind of self inserted myself, but not really bc that character is nothing like me, more like how I wanna be. But thinking of how I am instead makes me so sad, so I dream of Zuko instead.
