i may actually be going a little crazy

before christmas i got the sudden idea that i was going to teach myself how to crochet. why, you may ask.

because i imagined a blanket a fictional character would make and the concept has now consumed me.

so. i've actually made some really good progress learning the basic/intermediate stitches by using the cheapest hooks and yarn known to man, and i'm teetering on the brink of actually buying good hooks and the yarn for the project and vaguely terrified i might lose interest before i'm done? i have also found a design i like and modified the shit out of it and probably way overcomplicated it, but the white on white test squares i've done look good so far, and i think the colors are gonna make it look BALLER.
