I looooove your zukka rec lists! I recently became Avatar-obsessed, never got a chance to watch it as a kid and only just got through it all! I was wondering if you'd consider doing a specifically angst rec list? I love fluffy zukka everything, but sometimes you just gotta have your heart ripped out of your chest and put back in after being thoroughly blended.

13. Describe your writing process from idea to polished i’m not really sure, but i think i’d go something like this: i get the idea usually by either being obsessed with a property (whether it’s frankenstein, beetlejuice or barbie) or by thinking up characters and adding traits and backstory to them, and then thinking up possible dynamics for them to have with other characters. then, i try to figure out a particular context (place and time) that could fit these characters, and i make sure to think it up in such a way that it doesn’t really conflict with the source material (for my barbie-frankenstein fanfic, for example, i didn’t want to set it in early 19th century, because i wanted vivianna to be able to become barbara roberts at some point, and as such it was more comfortable to preserve the victorian aesthetic while also being closer to the 20th century); if there’s not a proper space and time these characters can feel comfortable in (whether because of a particularly tense political situation, persecution, or simply The Wrong Aesthetic Choice), i make up one. after that i begin to write dialogues and location descriptions, try to picture it all in my head as clearly as possible. then, after i have some scenes written and some interactions done, i try to organize them, thinking what should come first, what can lead to a good finale, what would be the most important moment for each character and so on. when this is done, i usually already figure out the ending and can structure everything to lead up to it. after that, it’s all a matter of sitting down and writing between the scenes i’ve already done, editing them and adding whatever new ideas i get in the meantime. usually this is what takes the longest, because by this point i’m losing steam and interest and become distracted by new projects... but sometimes i manage to finish it and by then the editing process starts on full, checking for any grammar or spelling mistakes, wrong pronouns or words or names, usually cutting down on redundant descriptions or dialogues, adding things if i think something is not clear enough or erasing things if they seem too on the nose, and then i do this over and over until i feel it’s good enough.

20. How many WIPs and story ideas do you have? oh boy do i have plenty. i’ve sorta finished the first novel of the story of Olimpia Gómez -the first one is simply called “La Ejecutora, 1938″; i’m currently writing the second, the third and the fourth ones -”La Ejecutora, 1946″, “La Ejecutora, 1954″, and “La Ejecutora, 1966″ respectively. then i also have almost finished my stage adaptation version of “Corpse Bride”, which i renamed “Death and Marriage”. i’m a chapter away at finishing my toy story fanfic, “Sitting On The Shelf”. i’ve written a single chapter of a beetlejuice fanfic about the maitlands that i still haven’t found a proper name fore, but which i’m very excited about. i’m writing several chapters at once of a massive addams family fanfic, focused on most of the main family characters’ backstories or developments beyond the nineties movies, which i’m calling “Family Beyond Blood”. i’ve started a little princess tutu fanfic that i’m not sure if i should continue, but which is a stylistic deviation of what i’ve been writing so far, so that’s good. i’ve kind of abandoned another fanfic idea i had, “Vulnavia & Vulnavia”, from one of my favorite horror movies, “abominable dr phibes”, which i have to come back to... and like the madwoman i am, i’m planning on rewriting the star wars sequel trilogy, so i got that in my to do list, as well. besides those fanfics, i got a sci-fi novel being developed, called “Los Prototipos”, about two twins that escape the enclosure where they had been raised to find out they were being studied to make a single-minded working force (kind of like the replicants in blade runner) with an expiration date -all this set in a dystopic 1960s country somewhere in latinamerica, tackling issues of economic imperalism, forced labor and independece through revolution. this is one of my most political works, so i’m giving it a lot of space to breathe. i’ve also began some time ago a series of noir/horror short stories set in Buenos Aires, one of them based on a short movie script i’ve written, which i’m really excited to do -because i’m usually crap at writing short stories -but i’ve left it in standby until i finish the bigger projects first... and then I Have Scripts, Baby! “Mi Amiga Carolina”, about a possessed doll that emotionally manipulates a depressed teenager that moves alone into her grandmother’s old house; “El Moderno Prometeo”, a (mostly) faithful retelling of frankenstein set in Argentina, focused on the family drama of the frankenstein family and on the relationships between victor, daniela (justine, here being his older sister), quique (henry) and elsa (elizabeth); a screen adaptation of a novel of a friend of mine, “La Chica Que Trabajaba Los Sábados”, about a non-practising jewish woman in Buenos Aires who falls in love with a rabbi, and how their relationship ebbs and flows; and “Verano en los Manzanos”, about a boy who lives in rural Córdoba who falls in love with a girl from Buenos Aires (i try to write what i know, usually), and who as they grow up become a couple, have a kid, and ultimately wind up apart due to his struggle with depression and her own struggle with acute anxiety, all of this interweaved with his own return to the little forgotten village he grew up on, where he reflects on the life he used to have. so, in total... 16 WIP. plenty.

30. Favourite idea you haven’t started on yet i just now realized that i forgot to mention it in the last point, but technically i havent’ even started, so yeah, it’s just an idea: a series of sci-fi books about a parallel history in which India was the first country to go to the moon, and in which South America has the ASADE (Asociação Sul-Americana D’exploração Espacial), where they train cosmonauts to explore the vastness of space: set in an alternate 1930, a team of specialists on several fields and from several countries (the ones I got thought up already are captain Alfonsina Shua, from argentina, and copilot Adolfo Chaviano, from a paraguayan-argentinean couple) go on the fifth ever tripulated voyage. on an exploration, copilot Chaviano gets lost and disappears in space, cut off from his crew, and ends up going through a wormhole and crossing a threshold between sci-fi and fantasy of a blooming star -rendering him immortal but extremely radiated, which allows him to continue exploring space (ending up in several planets, registering his encounters with varied extraterrestrial cultures) while back in Earth the ASADE and his family try to locate him and bring him back home -it’s basically “The Martian” meets “The Little Prince”. and then, there’s the sequel series, about the three grandchildren of Adolfo Chaviano, who, after his death, discover that their grandfather had been developing a time machine alongside Alfonsina to go back in time and look for a way to revert the effects of the radiation in him, in order for him to live longer -and, perhaps, to find the way to become immortal and continue exploring the deepest limits of space. set in an alternate 1971, where space travel is now commonplace, the three siblings, Lena, Majo and Laucha embark on a space mission, meeting all sorts of new characters similarly affected by radiation and some mysterious magical/space properties, in order to find Alfonsina and ask her to give them one more chance to ask questions and say goodbye to their grandfather. so yeah, i got a lot of ideas, but i haven’t been writing any scenes yet -it’s still all in my head so far.

40. Share some backstory for one of your characters well, the original character i’ve got developed the most is Olimpia Gómez (whose birth name is Beatriz Moreno), the orphaned daughter of two spanish union workers who were killed in the Semana Trágica on 1919 by the mysterious Society (of course, working in cahoots with the repressive government), and taken in by that same Society and raised to kill supposed “criminals and dangerous subjects”. trained in the countryside, taught to always be ready to die an honorable death for peace and justice while on duty, she’s taken to Buenos Aires to prove herself by stealth-killing the targets she is given, who she is told are people beyond salvation. she’s never been popular, but her closest friend, Eugenia Menéndez, always tries to get her to open up and join her own attempts at having a normal social life -which is quite difficult when being a spy and “executioner”. Olimpia has a boyfriend, fellow agent Evaristo Gutiérrez, but by the time they’re nineteen their relationship feels cold and strained, and at the same time there’s the pull of one of the most powerful members of the organization, Azucena Velázquez, daughter of two high-ranking agents: she’s kind-of out as a lesbian (only able to be so because of her high status), and has always been interested in Olimpia; Olimpia has to wrestle with her own internalized homophobia, feelings of guilt and bisexuality in order to finally decide who she wants to be, alongside her discovery of precisely how the Society is corrupt and extremely politically motivated when electing its “targets”, which leads Olimpia to try to escape it -despite knowing that the Society is everywhere, and if she can manage to escape, it’s because the Society allows it in the first place.

@pechikka Oops sorry, my reply got very long (it’s quite rambly...) so I made it into a separate post. Also I don’t mind reading all your comments so don’t worry that! I’m glad to get some feedback regarding my teams ^^

So to start, I’ve been thinking about this since... around this May so I have a lot of thoughts. The setting I have for this though is just if the main storyline from the game just so happened to also have pokemon too. I considered a lot of things from canon and tried to fit pokemon into that. The way this first started was me noticing how much Muku looks like a Jigglypuff lol

So examples of what I mean with the above...

When I added a Dratini to Muku’s team, I imagined him coming across it on that beach trip with Juza’s family that was brought up in the event Dazzling Beachside Passion. Tsumugi’s Chansey evolved into a Blissey during his break from acting after failing that God-za audition. Chansey spent a lot of time taking care of Tsumugi when he was depressed and from that they formed a stronger bond. Juza and Kumon are the only overlap I have with Riolu and Lucario (by final evolutions). I see Kumon wanting to have a pokemon just like his brother because he admires him so much. I actually typed up a post about this kind of stuff earlier this week so I’ll post that after I make some more edits

Anyways onto your comments!

I’ve been debating about which pokemon is triangular enough for Misumi to fill in his last slot, and I think I might go for adding in the Vanilluxe line after reading what you said. They do sort of give me similar vibes lol. I do think it has more diamonds than triangles, but they’re basically just two triangle and I’m sure Misumi said something like that in the game before too. I can imagine Misumi using his Snorunt and Vanillish to make snowcones for his troupe and other members of the company during the summers to help cool down. Though I can also see it suddenly turning into winter if his pokemon were too excited to pay attention to the amount of ice they were making. Suddenly Tenma is a snowman, Yuki is laughing at him and his Flareon and Charizard have to help him thaw out.

I have thought about Crobat for a bit for Sakyo, but I ended up deciding against it. For one Crobats are HUGE. Like they’re listed as 6ft in the pokedex and that is height, not wingspan. Golbat is only a foot shorter than that. I do love Crobat, it’s one of my go-to flying types but I can’t bc it’s hard to work with when I’m making those (relatively) to-scale team posts. I made a few posts before about Golbat/Crobat when I was considering a change to Itaru’s team and when I was making a first draft to Sakoda’s. I do see how you think it would suit him though.

Also, just on an aesthetic level I don’t personally think it looks right. When I was considering pokemon for Sakyo, I didn’t want pokemon that immediately made me think yakuza. Especially since Sakyo didn’t go down that path until he was in middle/high school. I wanted pokemon that would be found easily around his way home and ones that looked decently plain but mildly intimidating even before evolving. The one that looks the most out of place is Gyarados, but if you’ve read Act 2 Ep 7 they way he got it is sorta similar to when he bought those trading cards (except a Majikarp). I also made a post when I was still considering pokemon for him.

Oh and this is more apparent for older characters, but many of their pokemon were caught over a long span of time. Like Sakyo’s first pokemon were Spearrow and Rattata. Later in elementary were Majikarp and Nicada. High school was Pinsir and Meowth. Azuma’s first pokemon was an Eevee. Chimecho during high school, and most of the rest were caught on trips as an adult (Oricorio, Alolan Ninetales, Froslass, Meinshao).

I did think about Leavanny for Yuki at one point, but I don’t personally see Yuki thinking it’s cute enough to catch even if it does make clothing. Though I can see it as a pokemon belonging to his mom or one of his older sisters. I think Yuki would prioritize his pokemon’s appearances more than anything, and would likely do research ahead of time since there are pokemon like Glameow that start off cute, but lose that when they evolve. I also see all of Yuki’s pokemon being male despite their feminine appearances to reflect himself. Like Primarina has a 12% chance of being female since it’s a starter, and Kirlia can evolve into Gardevior regardless of gender with Gallade only being possible with a shiny stone. I see Muku having a Gallade, but in comparison to Yuki, he only caught his Ralts rather recently.

Hisoka and Chikage having Kalos starters wasn’t something I did on purpose. I had Delphox for Chikage early on since it’s a wizard-like pokemon that aligned with his magic tricks, and since he’s into spicy food I thought a fire-type would be a way to incorporate that lol. Most of Chikage’s pokemon aren’t particularly animal-like since he says himself in the game that he doesn’t know how to deal with them. Though the relationship he has with them are more... business. He does care though.

For Hisoka, I only added in Frogadier a few weeks ago after taking out Shedinja and Eiscue. I thought it would fit in with how ninja-like Hisoka is described and that it would’ve been helpful with his jobs when he was still in the organization. I think the organization gave Hisoka a Froakie to train since the pokemon he had at the time wouldn’t be as useful (Snom & Espurr).

The pokemon that I had in mind for August were Lickitung and Clefable. Since August jobs had a more public role I thought those wouldn’t stick out too much with him working at the candy-shop. Though I wouldn’t mind completing the Kalos trio and give him a Chesnaught. It does look like it would suit him well.

I can totally see that being how Juza ended up with a Pangoro on his team. Though maybe more that it heard the rumors that were spreading about him and sought him out. Like, one of the things I had in mind when putting Juza’s together was how he’s an earnest and nice guy, but because of his appearances people assume he’s a punk/yankee. The backstage story to his Giinji the Wander SSR is a good example.

So for Pangoro, it’s dex entry talks about how “although it possesses a violent temperament, it won't put up with bullying” and “it's eager to tussle but kindhearted toward its companions”. For Absol, it’s dex entires talk about how “although it's said to bring disaster, in actuality, this Pokémon possesses a calm disposition and warns people of any crises that loom”. Lucario is also known for it’s sense of justice. For Granbull, it was a pokemon that Juza saved from being bullies by other pokemon on his way home from school and it wanted him as his trainer. Muku told him later that Granbull was a Fairy type and was surprised about it.

On something else relating to this...

The other night I was thinking about the level ranges for each character based on age and how competitive I see them being. I recently had the urge to put together movesets for each party and I wanted to know what I would be working with. I also wanted to consider the character’s personal finances as to whether or not they’d be able to afford TM/TR moves along with how willing they’d actually be in buying. But other than that I would just go about it as if I were playing. So moves that suit it’s base stats, one or two STAB moves, having enough type coverage, and some status moves. I’m currently working on formatting another google doc for that but havent really gotten into that.

I do know I want Citron’s Slowbro to have Flamethrower though lol

it’s always going to be hosie for me, unless they fundamentally change the characters to make them entirely incompatible. but i’ll also say jandon comes at a close second. they could have been handled better for sure, but what we had was a fun, if awkward, cute ship.

most anything if there’s chemistry. aside from josie and her family members obviously.

with josie as a teen / in school, i’m not sure she’d be okay with anyone over 20, but that would relax as she grows older. as most people do lol. but i think vampires would be a little different, i havent thought about it super in depth, but i think she’d be hesitant when she’s younger.

Tim flops on the couch beside his eldest brother, “Did yousee her room? She’s got a one of those makeup mirror things. The one with thelights in the mirror and all the drawers. When I walked by, she was filling thewhole thing up with makeup”

“Are you serious? Who needs that much makeup?”

“I don’t think Steph, Cass, and Babs have that much makeupcombined. I mean I know her mom was a model and all, but she must be stupid shallowand obsessed with her looks”

There’s a soft creak as the door open and both boys glanceup to see the newest member of the Wayne household standing awkwardly in thedoorway. “Hi, Alfred said that you two were in here … he said that you guys wouldn’tmind giving me a bit of a tour. I only know where my room and the kitchen is …”

Dick lets out a put-upon sigh and heaves himself off thecouch, “Yeah, come on, I’ll show you around.”

Y/N glances up at him when they’re passing one of the hugebay windows, “You know, you have beautiful cheekbones, they’d be perfect be forsome highlight. And Tim has some beautiful eyelashes, I have to use falsies ormascara to that kind of length. You know I have -”

“Not everyone needs makeup to feel good about themselves,Y/N”

She freezes for a few seconds before catching up to him, “Iknow. I don’t use makeup because I don’t feel good about myself. I use it becauseit makes me confident, it’s like a mask that helps me take on the world. Ienjoy makeup, I don’t need it, Dick.” Her eyes lock with his, “This familyshould know all about mask, right?”

Dick almost chokes out a disbelieving laugh, that’s definitelysomething he’ll need to bring up to Bruce but for now he’ll ignore it. “So, youhave all that different makeup, and spend all that money just because you likeit?”

“I actually get a lot of my makeup for free. I have a YouTubechannel where I teach people how to put on makeup, so different makeupcompanies will sometimes send me their new pallets or supplies for me to testout and review. Mom taught me to be confident in who I am, to love myself andothers based on who they are as a person. I try to help my followers becomeconfident in themselves while I’m teaching them how to do makeup” The older manjust continues to stare at her, “Maybe you shouldn’t judge people on their outwardappearance and try to get to know them first”

Y/N quickly walks the rest of the way down the hall andstraight into her room while Dick slowly makes his way back toward the livingroom where Tim is still sitting. “So how was it? Was she completely airheaded,or could she actually hold a conversation?”

“She actually seems pretty smart, like she had a reason forhaving so much makeup. I guess she uses it all for her YouTube channel, and tohelp other people gain confidence in themselves”

Tim quickly sits up, “Do you know what her YouTube name is?I want to look her up”

“I don’t know, just search her name, it’ll be her mom’s lastname”

Tim types for a minute, “I found her … holy shit, she hasover 8 million followers”

“You’re kidding me. She was telling the truth? Play one ofher videos”

The two boys play a random video from two months ago. Y/Ntalks about how it doesn’t matter how much makeup someone layers on their faceif they’re ugly on the inside it’ll show. She talks about just being confidentin everything you do and in believing in yourself. The boys end up watchingvideo after video. Watching as she does casual day makeup, or night out makeup.How sometimes her mom or friends will appear in the videos and she’ll do theirmakeup as well as her own and the guest will share their own words of wisdom.The last video the two end up watching is the most recent one Y/N had posted,dated for only a few days after her mother had passed away. It isn’t a makeupvideo at all, it talks about loss and figuring out how live life after losingsomeone so important. Y/N talks about Bruce, how her father who she’s never metintends to take her in and adopt her. Finally, it wraps up by saying that shedoesn’t know when she’ll be able to post again, or even if she’ll be able to answeranyone messages.

“Did we completely misjudge her and act like total assholesto a girl who just lost her only parent up until recently? We’ve both lost ourparents and we were total assholes to her just because we assumed she wasshallow and conceited, when really she just likes makeup and uses it to expressherself”

Dick groans, letting his head fall into his hands, “How dowe make this up to her?”

“Maybe we should follow her advice and actually get to knowher. I think … I think we should treat her like a member of the family insteadof like an outsider. We need to talk to Jason and Damian, you know they’ll cometo the same conclusion we did and yeah, Damian’s gotten a little better overthe years, but he still doesn’t have much a filter.”

“You’re right. I have a great idea. We should have a siblingmovie night, then we call all get to know her at the same time and she can getto know us. She won’t feel so alone here afterwards”

“Perfect! Just us tonight, and maybe next week we can getall the girls over here too?” Dick quickly nods his agreement, “I’m going totell Alfred and see if he can whip up some snacks for us. Can you call Jasonand get Damian?”

“Yeah, I got them. I really hope this works. We might havejust ruined our relationship with Y/N because we judged her over her makeup andnot her personality. We should know better, god we’re so stupid” Dick lets outa soft sigh and pulls out his phone, “Let’s just hope she can forgive us”

A voice clears behind them. Both vigilantes whip around,their eyes wide, having not even heard the door open, “You know, I’d forgiveyou a lot quicker if you’d apologize, that’s typically how these things works”

“Y/N, you scared the crap out of me!” Dick lets out a shakybreath, “I’m sorry … We’re sorry for judging you without getting to know you.We’ve known a lot of models and just kinda assumed that you were like all of them.I didn’t mean to judge you, or insult you”

“I understand. I’m a stranger coming into your guys house.You don’t know me, you guys didn’t even know I existed until recently, so ofcourse you’d assume things about me. That doesn’t make it right though, howeverI’m going to forgive you this time. I want to get to know my new brothers, solet’s put this behind us, okay?”

Tim grins, “Thank you. So we were gonna have a movie nighttonight, the four of us guys and you if you want. A way for all of us to get toknow you and for you to get to know us … if you want”

Y/N grins, “I’d love to, that sounds like fun … but we NEEDto have some kettle corn for the movie and some cookies”

Both guys snort, “I thought you were all into the healthy lifestyleand being the best you can be? That’s what your videos said”

“That’s what some of them said, but then I also say that it’sokay to indulge as long as you do it in moderation. So, I’ll be going to the gymtomorrow, but tonight we can watch movies and eat what we want”

“Sounds like a plan, I’ll call Jay and go talk to Damian”

“I’ll go ask Alfred if he can make cookies, you haven’t hadthe chance to try Alfie’s cookies yet, Y/N. They’re amazing!”

manifestation and religion

disclaimer: im going to write my opinions on religion and if you consider yourself a believer - dont get offended as we all have different experiences and beliefs. also, i will be mentioning some stuff that most people find weird and unusual so please keep your mind open and leave your judgment somewhere else.

i wrote quite a bit and then my clumsy ass accidentally closed all tabs and everything was gone so this time ill write my intro in short version. so we all heard the saying ‘’be careful what you wish for it may come true’’. well it does come true and it has proved to me so many times, and before i get to the basics of law of attraction and manifestation I am going to say a bit of background how i got to it all.

as most of my country i was raised christian and had to practice the religion until i was 14/15 and got my holy confirmation so after that i was finally happy that i did not have to go to church if i did not want to. my family is not super religious, we do follow the holiday traditions and such as its normal in our country, but personally i dont give them much meaning. two of my family members are religious and i am grateful because in a place as my hometown our parents gave us free will when i came to religion (after our confirmation only :P) .

with all my experience and research i came to realise that christianity is most rotten, corrupted, vile and disgusting religion there is. there are exceptions that were better than rest, that is a small number unfortunately. i always considered myself agnostic, there is no defined god but there is something bigger than humankind and its still unknown. and you look at all the religions you will find that mostly all of them have same stories, people and facts, just bit amended to their culture. so to explain a bit, here is internet definition of agnosticism # Agnosticism is the view that the existence of God, of the divine or the supernatural is unknown or unknowable. Another definition provided is the view that "human reason is incapable of providing sufficient rational grounds to justify either the belief that God exists or the belief that God does not exist." and no, atheist is not the same. heres couple of pictures giving some insights

so now that we have that sorted out i would like to stress out that i never had anything against people who believe in god or dont believe in god, i have friends who are strong believers and friends who are atheist, its just called being adult and accepting people as they are. not enough people can do that.

so i did lots of research on religions and i do like polytheism ( Polytheism is the worship of or belief in multiple deities, which are usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own religions and rituals) so i always had huge interest in roman and Greek deities, Egyptian as well and for a while was reading about Hinduism. of course i read a lot about all other older civilizations and most of them are based on polytheism.

during my exploring i came across a doctrine about paganism (havent fully finished all the books and here is a link if anyone would be interested in buying https://despot-infinitus.com/proizvod/paganizam-u-teoriji-i-praksi-doktrina-paganizma/) and i really liked the whole idea of it and i am still actively considering of becoming a white witch/wicca and reading those books inspired adding bit more on my pentagram tattoo, which is actually representing five elements so with added moons it represents triple goddess symbol.

many people ask me is that devils sign and am i a satanist, and that is ridiculous assumption based on only one symbol. and as a matter of fact i have been reading about satanism itself as well (of course i have) and its quite surprisingly peaceful religion and makes more sense than christianity does. to read more about their rules (which are way better than 10 commandments) click here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaVeyan_Satanism#Basic_tenets

those who know me a bit better know that i love paranormal stuff and that i have strong connection with it and that caused a lot of paranormal experiences in my life (i bring all the ghosts to your yard aaayyy) so i recently also discovered demonology ( Demonology is the study of demons or beliefs about demons. They may be human, or nonhuman, separable souls, or discarnate spirits which have never inhabited a body.) and that you can actually learn how to practice it and cant lie that also interests me as well as you contact demons and entities and you work together to learn about world and history and you give them chance to peacefully experience the world (they literally posses you and that way they get to taste food and emotions etc)

yes this is quite informative post as well. and yes, you will all probably deem me insane after reading all this. and what i noticed is that all of them mentioned above work on the principle of cooperation, you have to give to receive. and i dont mean like you have to make blood sacrifices to get your wishes, i mean you have to put in some effort in it and show good intentions and most important of all - you have to show some respect.

so to finally get to the reason why you are all here. manifestation and law of attraction.

there were loads of instances in my life where i noticed small details that most of people wouldnt notice and after googling them one word kept coming up - universe. so automatically when you start look into that law of attraction and manifestation come up as well, they all g hand in hand like little happy family.

So law of attraction is something you all definitely had experience with. Basically its what you put out to the world is what you get. Simple change of mindset can change everything in your life. Have you noticed when you are happy and spreading happiness everything around you seems nicer, people are nicer to you, nice things happen and then when you are in bad mood everything is going bad.

Sounds familiar? That is law of attraction for you people. you’re releasing/giving good vibes to the atmosphere and people around you so universe makes sure to give good things back. notice that give and take relationship here? Dont be fooled tho, its not always as simple as it sounds. it is especially hard when you get into that deep hole of feeling bad a and depressed. it is really hard to change your train of thoughts and get yourself to think positive. universe wont award you for one good thought, it has to be series of it and you really need to feel them. you truly need to be in a good moment to get something back from universe.

say thank you to people serving you, ask people how are they, show that you care, pick up a paper from street and throw it in a bin, smile to everyone, pet a random animal on a street, anything counts. and dont do it just because you expect something huge from universe as most of the time universe will give back with good things as well, someone will help you, smeone will compliment you, you’ll get free cup of coffee, just random things like that. you will be surprised that good things will come to you in a moment you need. it also makes you more grateful for everything in your life and makes your everyday nicer and more positive.

then we come to manifestation.

thiiiiiis my people is bit more complicated than just law of attraction, but one without other does not go. there is no definition of the manifestation, but it is a fact that if you want something really bad universe will give it to you. i had universe manifest so many of my things that i wanted, just took a bit of time. maybe it has happened for you too. sit and think how many things did you wish for and you have them now? there are certainly more than few things that come to your mind. i can easily name at least 10 things that universe manifested for me without even realizing that was it.

there are many ways to manifest something and it is impossible for me to write everything about it in this post as it is bit more complicated than law of attraction, but i will try to outline some things and believe me when you google manifestation you will find loads of examples and you can read for days about it.

every single wish you want to manifest you can, it just requires some work and that is the hardest part. there are many ways of manifesting something, scribbling, drawing, visualizing, meditating and many more - you need to find something that works the best for you. you need to have clear vision of what you want (general idea wont work), you have to want it really strongly and you need to start working towards it, even little steps - remember when i said you have to give to receive, same with universe. it wont just drop it in your lap because you decided it would be beneficial for you.

and have in mind very important thing universe will always provide and it will give you what you deserve when you are ready for it.

so yes, it means it can take waaaay longer than you expect it, it may not be hours, days it may be years, it just means that you are not ready for it yet but that doesnt mean universe is not working on bringing it to you. all the work you put into it will definitely be worth it.

for example i fell in love in marketing in university and always wanted a job in that field. it did not get easy to me at all. i spent long five years applying for the jobs and either getting rejections or no answer. and believe me that could put me in such bad mood sometimes that i just wanted to give up on everything. add to that anxiety struggles and that makes it even harder. and as mentioned in the last year i worked on myself mentally, my anxiety has been on lower levels for a while and it does spike up now and then and it messes things up, but i’ve been happier mentally then i ever was in last 5 years and towards end of the last year more and more good things started to come my way and then i finally got that long awaited job.

i am still looking a proper way to thank universe for making it happen for me as that is also important thing for manifestation.

going to use myself as example - being a cheerleader, moving to another country, going to enrique iglesias concerts, visiting loch ness and Neuschwanstein Castle and many more were just big wishes at one point and so far they all came true and i couldnt be happier. it can be small things as well, once i tried to test it and i wanted to manifest a drink date. so i kept thinking how i will go for a drink with someone next week. and it happened, next week i went for a drink with a guy i just met, completely unexpectedly. i didnt specify anything else other than gooing for a drink at that was the only thing that happened.

once wished for more money (also nothing specific stupid me haha) and after two days i found €5 on the floor. not much but universe did provide what i wanted :D

as i’ve said, manifestation is more complicated than law attraction and requires strong mind and strong will, so not only that you get what you wish and work for - it makes you a better person as well! “throughout all the seasons, in this transition of winter-spring you've been here beside me with the sweet nothings you're whispering”

hoseok has always called you his rock because you kept him grounded whenever he needed it, reminding him in times of hardships that he was more than enough and that those bouts of feeling like he wasn’t enough would pass. he also called you his rock because you had been in his life for as long as he could remember, literally. you had known hoseok since you guys were kids. teeny tiny tots playing together at the daycare your mothers had both decided were good enough to watch you while they were busy. it all started because you, a very shy kid who kept to themselves in the corner, was crying and you immediately caught hoseok’s attention. you had come to find very quickly that he was the literal embodiment of sunshine and rainbows and everything else that could possibly bring you joy. he had been the only kid to approach you in the daycare since you arrived, and he made it his mission to make you happy. he had introduced himself to you as hobi, and from that day on it was hobi and y/n against the world. as you grew older, you had found that hoseok actually lived in the same neighborhood as you and this led to you and him growing closer as you aged. enter your tween and teen years and you were pretty much bound at the hip, doing anything and everything you could together. you had begun going to the others family gatherings, parties and other special events together and there came a time when both of your families had begun teasing you both about being an item. this would always prompt your cheeks to turn a deep rose color as hoseok denied any chances of getting together with you, claiming you were more like a sister to him. this had hurt you a bit the first few times he had said it, seeing as you had feelings for hoseok that were definitely not brotherly and you had always silently hoped he felt the same but you learned to quickly push those feelings down and laugh along with him whenever family members brought it up. this continued for a couple years until one drunken high school party where you had confessed your feelings for him and, to your surprise, he felt the same. the next day was spent soberly clearing things up and properly confessing, marking the beginning of your new relationship with hoseok. he learned very quickly that you were supportive of him. you always had been, but now that you proudly wore the title of girlfriend it had been enhanced ten fold and it made hoseok's day. whether it was cheering him on at his tennis games or during his swim meets, you never failed to bring a smile to his face when he caught you waving at him from the sidelines, the widest of grins on your face as you showed him how proud you were. you’re praises never stopped on the field though, no, hoseok would hear them the entire way back to your homes, and if you were spending the night at his then you would continue to praise him there too. when he had finished getting ready to relax and you were waiting for him on his bed with open arms, he would happily clamber into bed with you and accept your cuddles, you held him close to your chest as you ran your hand through his hair and continued to talk about how proud you were of him, how amazing he did during the game and so forth, until finally his eyes would flutter closed and the smile on his lips stretched wider.

it should come as no surprise that hoseok loves to do for other people, especially for you. whatever it was you needed him to do he would do it in a heartbeat. you needed a new pair of pants because you spilled coffee on your old ones? hoseok was already on his way to the mall as soon as you told him. you had a really bad day at work and you wanted takeout and a movie night in? hoseok has your favorite takeout place on speed dial and your order memorized and could make it to your apartment in 10 minutes flat with your favorite movie. you were his angel, his world, and he loved doing things for you. hoseok always made it known that you could count on him, constantly telling you that it didn’t matter how busy he was or what he was doing. reminding you that he would always drop whatever it was and help you in any way he could. this made touring a little difficult for him, seeing as how he wouldn’t be able to stop in the middle of a show to help you if you needed him but you knew he would help you as soon as he could. there was one time, however, where in the middle of a show he had gotten a message from your coworker telling him that you had fallen at work and were rushed to the hospital. it wasn’t anything major, just a preemptive trip to make sure you didn’t break any bones from the fall but it was still enough to plant that seed of worry in hoseok. what made this worse was the fact that he was in the middle of a show, in between songs and getting a quick change when he had heard the news from a staff member. they tried to reassure him that you were okay and that you weren’t actually hurt that badly, that your coworker just wanted to make sure you hadn’t broken any bones but it was still enough to drive hoseok mad. he tried to brush it off for the rest of the show and not worry ARMY but you were all he could think about. of course he immediately thought of all the worst case scenarios he could, like you being stuck at the hospital all by yourself because your friend had to leave, or you having broken every bone in your body and having to be put in a full body cast for a couple of months and many other unlikely scenarios. as soon as the show had ended, he rushed off stage to video call you, not even bothering with a text to make sure you were still up. his heart was relieved for a split second when you answered on the second ring, and he didn’t even let you speak before he was already blubbering off his concerns.

“oh god angel I’m glad you answered, I got the text from your coworker saying you were in the hospital as we were in the middle of the show and I was so worried about you. are you okay? did you break anything? do I need to sue your company for the fall? psychological damage that you may have suffered? god baby I’m so sorry I’m not there to sit with you in the hospital right now and- wait, are you at home?” hoseok furrowed his eyebrows and squinted down at his phone screen as you leaned your head back to let out a loud laugh. he backs away from his intense staring with his lips down in a frown and a pout on his face, waiting for you to explain.

“I got out of the hospital like, an hour ago love. it was just a trip to make sure I didn’t break anything, which I didn’t, I just twisted my ankle s’all.” as you spoke you could watch the worry physically drain itself from hobi’s face, his heart shaped smile beginning to form itself on his lips at the thought of you being okay.

“oh thank god, y/n I couldn’t even begin to tell you how worried I was about you, I was starting to wonder if management would let me fly home to see you in case you had been put in a full body cast or something.” now you both laughed, hoseok blushing slightly at how ridiculous he sounded but you assured him that you loved it, loved him for caring so much about you and being ready to do whatever he needed to take care of you. you meant a lot to him, and he would be willing to give you his heart in a split second if you needed it, that’s how much he loved you.

“cause i love you and i'd like to spend forever in the subtle warmth inside your arms”

hoseok’s favorite thing to do with you has to without a doubt be cuddling. he loves it when you cuddle him or he cuddles you, he doesn’t mind either position as long as he can feel the warmth radiating off of your body and onto his. he loves holding you close, head pressed up against his chest so you can hear his heartbeat while his hand runs through your hair as he talks to you about his day and you talk to him about yours. hoseok always wants to be touching you in some way whether it be hugging or cuddling or holding hands, he always wants to feel your warmth. whenever you go out in public he is holding your hand, if you have to separate for whatever reason he always makes sure you part with a hug and if you guys are just spending time at the dorm or at your apartment you better believe you’re cuddled up on the couch together. hoseok loves it the most when he wakes up with you in his arms, the way you’re always wrapped up in his embrace like you haven’t moved since you fell asleep in the same position. he loves it when it’s raining really heavily and you beg him to sit out in the living room with you, huddled up on the couch with your favorite blanket and a movie on the tv, drowned out by the sound of the rain hitting the glass of your window. he loves it when you rest your head on his shoulder while gazing at something, whether it be your phone or whatever else may be holding your attention and he just enjoys being close to you, and he never wants to let you go.

“i'll keep on creating for you until my final days, dancing in the living room and smooching while the vinyl plays”

one of hoseok’s favorite memories with you is whenever he had a day off and you insisted on dancing with him, since he would continue to practice even if he was meant to be relaxing. the day usually goes something like this, you begin by sitting in the living room and watching him dance, then he insists on teaching you some of the moves so now you’re up and dancing with him and then eventually you convince him to do some kind of slow dance with you as a cool down from earlier. he would never admit it but he loves it when his days off go like this, getting some practice in and then ending it with you and him slow dancing while your bluetooth speaker plays whatever love song you have in your playlist. he loves holding you by the waist, watching as you lean your head forward on his chest while you dance, hands intertwined and the soft sounds of your breath mingling as you sway together in the living room. hoseok will begin his kiss attacks with simple smooches to you hair, and then gradually makes his way down to your face after you’ve removed it from the warmth of his chest to look up at him. he starts his descent at your forehead, leaving a kiss there before travelling to your nose, and then both cheeks, your chin, the corners of your mouth and then finally landing on your lips. the kiss is always soft and sweet and makes butterflies erupt in your stomach and you can’t get enough of him which leads into a makeout session. hoseok’s hands grip your waist a little tighter as your hands move to play with the hairs at the nape of his neck, not once breaking apart for air. you continue like that for what feels like hours, just holding each other and sharing kisses under the dim lighting in your living room until hoseok’s stomach begins to growl louder than the music playing in the background and you break apart with a laugh, walking into the kitchen together to prepare a meal.

“cause we can both hear the compliments coming in from these pals of mine and I've been wondering if you would be my valentine”

hoseok remembers back in highschool, when you had just started dating, and valentine’s day approaching faster than he would have liked. he was nervous seeing as it was the first holiday you would be spending together as a couple and he wanted it to be perfect. his friends had encouraged him, telling him they would help him with any planning or preparations he had. what he really wanted to do was take you out for a picnic date at the park you really liked that was a bit of a drive out of town and then watch the stars with you. he tells his friends about his plan in hopes that they will get the hint to leave him alone, but something about the way they smile at him after he’s done speaking tells him otherwise. brushing it off, he waits for you in the school’s parking lot and gets ready to put his plan into action. when you get into his car, he starts to drive towards the location of the park which is on the opposite side of town where you both live. you’re confused, and look over to ask him what he’s doing to which you only get a “you’ll see” out of him. you sit back and enjoy the ride, wondering what he could possibly have planned for today. when you arrive at the park the sun has begun its descent and hobi is quick to pull you out of his car and towards the location of the picnic dinner he has had set up for the past few hours. you laugh at his enthusiasm only to be wowed by the location for which he has picked out. the spot he found has a perfect overview of the horizon ahead, and it perfectly shows off the current setting sun and all of the orange pink and purple hues stemming from it. you stand there in awe, mouth hung open as you watch the sun set and hoseok can’t help but take a couple photos of you, some from a few feet behind you showing off both the setting sun and your silhouetted frame. he smiles down at the photos before walking up behind you and wrapping you up in a hug, head placed on your shoulder as he places soft kisses into the crook of your neck. you giggle before attempting to get away from him, claiming that his shows of affection tickle and that you want to eat. he leads you back over to the blanket and begins to pull out the food he had prepared. to your surprise, he pulls out a bunch of fruits and what looks to be kimchi made from scratch. you look up at him in awe while a blush blossoms on his cheeks. he dishes out the servings of food between the two of you before starting to eat, striking up conversation with you about school that day and what plans you had for the weekend. after you both finish eating and the sun has promptly set, he asks you to lay down with him on the blanket to stargaze for a little. it takes you by surprise, seeing as hoseok has never addressed the idea of finding stargazing particularly interesting but you assume that maybe he had seen posts about it on twitter or instagram pertaining to how it was a cute date idea. you lay hand in hand and watch the stars for about an hour before you pack up to go home, the cold air beginning to nip at your skin and creating goosebumps. once you’re back inside his car hoseok pulls out one last surprise gift for you. you assume it’s a ring, considering the box he occupies in his hands is too small to contain a necklace or bracelet and you feel your heartbeat begin to pick up. hoseok smiles before opening the case and showing off a beautiful gold promise ring set, one for you and one for him. he takes the one meant for you out and begins to place it on your ring finger as he speaks softly.

“I got these because even though we just started dating, we’ve known each other our whole lives and I can’t imagine the rest of my life being with anyone else but you. I want to continue making memories with you and I want to build my future with you, y/n. so I want us to make a promise that we will always be there for each other.” hoseok looks back up from your hand with a smile on his face as he finishes talking and you quickly lean forward to place a chaste kiss on his lips. “of course I want to spend the rest of my life with you hobi, I promise.” you extend your pinky finger for him to latch onto and he does so with a small laugh, leaning forward to kiss you again. it isn’t until you hear whooping and hollering from outside that you pull away, looking around quickly to spot the source of the noise. hoseok rolls his eyes and leans his head back until it hits the headrest, promptly bringing his hands up to run down his face with a groan. “I knew they were going to follow us here.” he mumbles before his friends arrive at the driver’s side window, smirks plastered on their faces as they show hoseok a big thumbs up. when he turns to unlock the door their expressions all drop, quickly running off into the direction of their own cars in order to escape hoseok’s wrath. you laugh from the passenger's seat as you watch him chase his friends around the parking lot, yelling about how they “need to respect his privacy” and “can’t you guys get your own girlfriend instead of living vicariously through me?!”

when he finally gets them to leave and has returned to his spot behind the wheel he turns to apologize to you, “as you can see, they were very excited for our valentines plans, and they wanted to see if you would turn me down or something I’m not too sure what they were expecting.” but all you can do is laugh some more and tell him that you didn’t mind, that you thought it was cute his friends wanted to see how things would turn out, and maybe they would finally listen to hobi and stop living as though you were their girlfriend as well.

i knocked a few times on changbin's door. i roll my eyes as i hear loud rap music being blasted on the other side of the door. i slide the door open anyways. i see changbin punching furiously at the punching bag.

i walk over to the speaker to stop the blaring music, only to have my brother spin around to glare at me. seeing me, he hesitates before taking off his boxing gloves and hanging them up on the rack. i toss a towel at him, grossed out at the sweat dripping down his body. as he caught the towel in midair and cocked an eyebrow at me.

" we havent had sibling heart to heart talk in a long while changbin."

he motioned for me to sit down on his bed. which i graciously took up his offer on. i hugged his plushie, gyu, the only clean thing around the room. i watch as he pulls out a fresh shirt from his closet. he drags a chair from his desk to sit infront of me. then i decide to start the ball rolling.

" so whats your deal with minjung? hm? "

i see him facepalm himself and groan into his palm. because changbin was older than me by two years, he always had trouble opening up to me. he felt as if he was not doing a good job as an older brother. thats why i started this heart to heart talk between the two of us. i waited as he lifted his head to look at me, thinking about how to put it in words.

" that woman simply ticks me off. shes single-handedly the most stubborn person i have met- "

" says you. "

i pressed my lips in a thin line as changbin gave me an unamused expression.

" i dont know we just dont work well together. i work well with anyone and everyone except her. she hates my guts, i hate her guts. we are even. then chan has to force us to work together. to be honest, i thought making the situation worse would make chan rethink about this shitty paring. guess i was wrong. "

" well from my point of view, i think the both of you should try to tolerate each other. i mean you have always been good at tolerating people. why not just tolerate each other. you guys cant jump at the first chance to kill each other. who knows maybe you guys will end up liking each other. "

he grabs a nearby soft toy and chucks it at me. probably from my last sentence. but i see him slowly consider my words.

" then whats with you and hyunjin trying to send each other to your respective graves huh? "

" thats a different situation! "

" mhmm tell me. how so? "

" ugh youre impossible. "

" lets make a deal then. if you try to get along with hyunjin, i promise to try to get along with minjung. "

i eyed him suspiciously and stuck out my pinky. he locked his pinky with mine. he shot me his goofy smile. i scoff at him as i lay down on his bed. he lies down next to me and we stay in a comfortable silence, staring at the ceiling. until i break the silence.

" do you ever miss mum and dad? "

he pauses before replying.

" all the time. i just wish they didnt leave so soon. maybe then we wouldnt have ended up like this. sure we have been through tougher things but i wonder how different things will be if they were still here. "

" remember that time we stole from the convenience store? we nearly ended up in jail. i still cant believe we survived by ourselves for so many years. "

he chuckles softly as he recalls the memories. ever since our parents died in a fire, changbin and i have always been relying on each other. i vaguely remember changbin sitting on the pavement and bawling his eyes out. his head was buried in his two hands as he sat there trying to comprehend the life-changing situation he had experienced. i remember twelve year old me being lost and clueless, wandering about in the crowd that had formed in front of the building. changbin shot up as soon as he heard my voice and engulfed me in a hug. the both of us had tried so hard to forget about that incident. but one of us would get a nightmare about it every now and then.

it has been five years since chan took us in and decided that we would have family members to look out for us. now we feel like SK is our family.

i watch as changbin stands up from the bed and looks at me in disdain before snatching gyu out of my hands. he strokes gyu before placing it down on the bed. changbin offers his hand to help me stand up. but i know better than to fall for that trick again. i push off the bed on my own. changbin looks offended that i didnt take his hand. i punched his left arm before walking towards the door. he gives me a look of pure pain and disbelief, while holding his left arm.

" did you just-? did you not hold back anything in that punch?"

" come on. dinner is about to be done. i bet you a hundred bucks that grandpa woojin is going to complain about how nobody helped him to prepare dinner. "

i chuckle as i slide the door open. i walked to living room, spotting hyunjin playing pool. changbin nudged me towards him. i scowled at my brother, only to have him flip me off. he shooed me off, mouthing "get along with him".

i walked to the pool table and picked up a cue stick. hyunjin pretended to not see me. i was going to give up being nice. but changbin was watching from the sofa. so i resorted to poking hyunjin in his ribs with the cue stick to get his attention. hyunjin saw it coming and dodged it before i even hit his ribcage. he sneered at me. i scoffed and threw my hands up.

changbin was still watching from the sofa. i took a deep breath before speaking.

" best out of three. loser treats the winner to a round of drinks. "

i sigh in relief as i see hyunjin consider my offer, nod and reset the pool table. i look towards changbin. he was giving me two thumbs up. i grin widely at him as i see him being awkward with minjung, who had just came out of the shower. he was trying so hard to start a conversation without being weird.

i turn my attention to hyunjin.

" ladies first. "

" wow hyunjin is being a gentleman for the first time. "

" hey take it or leave it. "

i say nothing as i rest my cue stick on my fingers.

HYUNJIN

i eye the woman infront of me suspiciously. her behaviour seemed too abnormal today. she was actually being nice to me. just to clarify, that has never happened. ever.

yubin clears her throat and gestures to the pool table.

"um.... so i won and drinks after dinner are on you,"

i shrug and continue staring at her unknowingly, watching her put the cuestick down and run to the kitchen to help woojin with dinner.

i snap out of it when woojin shouted for everyone to eat dinner. i walked over to the dining table with jisung. dinner was the usual. everybody was talking loudly and enjoying dinner.

i noticed that changbin and minjung were talking to each other. i scrunched my nose in confusion. i nudged seungmin.

"whats with changbin and minjung?"

"what?"

"nobody realises that theyre being friendly to each other ????"

"yeah no dumbass. they are on a truce. they just said it just now. pay attention to the table conversation will you?"

"ouch, no need to snap at me like that. that hurt my feelings."

my mind wandered to yubin being not-so-hostile to me. she DID try to puncture my ribs with the cuestick.

after dinner, i brought two bottles of beer up to the roof. i looked around looking for yubin but i couldnt see her anywhere.

"did she just bail on me?" i thought.

just then, i spotted a dark ball snuggled into one of the many oversized beanbags that jisung bought. i walked over to see her looking up at the sky. i plopped myself on the beanbag next to hers.

"so whats up there that got you staring for so long?"

she doesnt even look at me. no acknowledgement of my presence whatsoever. i scoff at her.

"wow so youre not even going to reply me? even after i got you beer? come on you have got to be kidding me."

after a few minutes of silence, i hear soft snoring coming from my right. "no way. no fucking way. is she sleeping?" unsure of what i had just heard, i snapped my head to look at her. leaning in closer to check if she was indeed asleep. upon a closer look, i realise i have been sitting next to a sleeping yubin.

i sigh as i sink back into my beanbag while taking a swig out of the bottle in my hand. after a few minutes, she stretches and somehow manages to hit my eye in a state of half conciousness. my right hand presses against the injured part. she recoils in shock and grabs onto my arm. her face was full of worry and she was starting the panic.

"ohmygod ohmygod i am so sorry. fuck fuck fuck. you need ice. wait here im going to go get ice for you. do not move."

i chuckle at her and removed my right hand.

"im not injured you dumbass. that was payback for making me wait for you to wake up."

she freezes with an unreadable expression. i stiffen at her reaction. she then slowly sinks back down in her beanbag with an almost inaudible "oh".

the atmosphere becomes awkward again. yubin clears her throat and reaches for her bottle of beer.

"um yubin?"

"what?"

"thats my bottle."

"yea i know. my bottle isnt open yet."

*awkward silence yet again*

*caw caw caw*

"so,, um hyunjin, do you have any siblings?"

*caw caw caw*

"uh....... sure yea of course i do. i have a twin sister and an older brother. my twin sister went missing when we were five and my older brother ran away from home when i was seven."

i looked over at yubin to see her mumbling to herself.

"hey dont worry its fine. really."

she looks at me with a forced smile.

"and your parents- ohmygod i just asked a stupid question didnt i? ah fuck sorry. im bad at this."

i let out a loud laugh as she facepalms herself. she gives me a questioning look.

"hey hey relax. no need to panic so much. just breathe okay? and yes to answer your question, i do have parents. both are healthy and fully alive."

"what about you, yubin? whats your story?"

"where do i even start?"

wahh i tried re-uploading the livestream onto dailymotion but it exceeded the upload limit oops ;;

i’ll just try and write the explanation under the cut. its gonna be long af, but i dont wanna leave out any details because i dont want people to take this story the wrong way. (sorry mobile users lol)

TW: animal death.

about a month ago, me and my roommate went and got two baby bearded dragons from a pet store. i was planning on adopting/rescuing an adult one, but we were looking on all the adoption sites, and we calculated that just straight up getting one was cheaper at the time. the particular pet store we went to has a reputation of not taking care of their animals, but it was sort of an impulse trip. (the trip to go get them was impulse, but i have lots of experience with bearded dragons and have been planning on getting one of my own for a while now.)

my roommate got the male, “Spam”, and i got the female, “Vienna”.

we kept them in the same tank for a couple weeks, but we kept an eye on them in case they started showing aggression towards each other. they never did, but we eventually separated them anyway. Spam wasnt eating as well as Vienna, so we fed him separately-- but then Vienna was the one who wasnt eating well, so we tried to feed her separately. Spam got better, but... Vienna didnt.

after a couple days of feeding her through one of my un-used t-shot syringes, one day i burst out crying because i thought she was dying. i called multiple vets, and only one was available asap.

we took her to the emergency vet, and the doctor didnt say we were doing anything wrong in particular. she just said she was in critical condition, and she had less than 50% chance in surviving. she gave us the option of putting her down right then and there, or try to nurse her back to health (which could take weeks). me and katie desperately wanted to help her, so we decided to take her back home with the medical supplies provided by the vet.

this was around the time when i opened up the emergency commissions, because the vet bill was super high. i borrowed money from my brother, and he needed to be paid back asap. for the next couple days, we fed her the prescribed medicine every hour on the hour. we did daily treatments and gave her a ton of TLC.

but,,, when we thought she was finally getting better,,, one day, she slowly passed away in my hands.

i havent felt so much of a failure in a long ass time. i beat myself up for being so stupid as to buy a sickly animal from a pet store which i knew had a bad reputation for carelessly breeding their animals, and i hated the fact that i supported such a corporation. but after a day of sobbing, i came to a conclusion.

the more time i spend mourning over her, the less time i spend saving another family member.

the next day, we held a little funeral with my roommates in our yard. i decorated the box i put her in, and we all had a ceremony in her honor. as soon as we buried her; we all went immediately to get another one.

i didnt talk about any of this publically for a while, and i wasnt planning on doing so, because i know this story story so far can rub some people the wrong way. we absolutely loved and adored Vienna, and we did everything we could to keep her healthy and alive. i mourned and had closure on her behalf, and im still mourning. remember that everyone mourns differently, and i dont want anyone to think i didnt care about her or think im simply replacing her.

now with that out of the way: again-- i wanted to adopt/rescue, and i didnt mind getting an adult. but at this point, we already had a setup for a baby beardie and it was going to be a while before we were able to upgrade. but all the adoption sites didnt have any beardies that were under 1 years old, so i did my research and went to a place where they took wonderful care of their animals.

i asked if there were any older beardies, but the only stock they had were these fresh babies that they just got the day before. i was skeptical on getting one, since i didnt wanna fuck up because baby beardies are super super fragile. but i couldnt leave without one, so we picked one we fell on love with and checked out.

again; i dont want anyone to think that im simply replacing Vienna. but since Vienna lived such a short life, and she came from such a terrible birthplace-- in honor of her struggle, we named this baby after her. thus; this new baby is dubbed “Vienna the II”. i know people are going to think its stupid, but i was already attached to the name and i wanted to try really hard to keep her name and memory alive.

so- in case anyone was wondering why “Vienna” is so much smaller now, and why we call her “the second”-- this is why. keep in mind that every animal we take into our lives; we are 1000% dedicated to keeping for the duration of their lives. they arent just pets, they are family to us. please respect the memory of Vienna the I.

oof, sorry for the sad sob story. if youre wondering why im so inactive online nowadays, its because im having some relapses in depression and im giving as much TLC to my animals as i can at the moment. ill be a little more active soon.

Love Story (Seokjin x You ONESHOT)

A/N: My first ever Jin fic! Taylor’s song is a;ways fun to based on since it always have some sort of a story to it. hehe.I wrote this story based on a modern setting, but I still hope you will enjoy it <3

MASTERLIST

We were both young when I first saw you I close my eyes and the flashback starts I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air

Y/N closes her eyes as she inhales the breeze that sweeps her hair as she stands on the balcony of her home. A smile grazed her lips as she remembered that she would never thought she would feel this happy, this contented after feeling lonely and empty her whole life.

And its all thanks to this one man.

She looked over her shoulders to see the figure of the man she loves so much, her heart could burst just from thinking about him, currently soundly asleep on the bed and her mind takes her back to when everything begin.

To when their love story begins.

See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns See you make your way through the crowd

Y/N was just a bored teenage heiress back then, on the borderline of turning into an adult, something she absolutely cant wait to be. Dont get her wrong. Her life is perfect. Well, as perfect as the world of a lonely heiress could be. She was the sole heiress of her family's empire, she obviously have the wealth, blessed with amazingly good looks, brains and everything she can ever asks for. She lives a live of a princess, but as all princess usually are, they are overprotected. Her every move is always being watched, not just by her parents, but by everybody. She cant do no wrong. She cant just simply befriend anybody she likes, her parents must approved of their standard first; are they a daughter or son of another empire? Who are their parents? What kind of person are they? Which resulted with Y/N only having two close friends who are also in the same position as her, an heiress. But the difference between them and her, they have older siblings to take off the pressure of becoming the next heir in line, giving them the freedom to do whatever they want. Also just like a princess, Y/N surely as hell is not allowed to fall in love with just simply anybody. Her parents will freaked out if she ended up with some burnout who is not in line for his own empire. So Y/N decided there's no point of finding love when she will end up marrying one of the snobbish heir in an arranged marriage anyway.

As usual, Y/N is currently sitting at yet another front row of a packed stadium of some artist that she dont even know, which she is once again dragged to attend by her friends. Being a well known socialite, its something normal for them to attaend these kinds of events on almost every night as part of the VVIP guests, the organizers hoping to create some sort of a good connection with these empires. But partying almost every night has taken its toll and Y/N sat in her seat, playing with her phone, bored, while waiting for the show to finally start. Her friends chattering away, excited for the concert by her side, already used to her brooding ways. Y/N finally locked her phone and tossed it in her bag when the lights finally went off and the crowd of screaming girls starts to go wild, indicating the show is finally starting.

Y/N adjusted herself in her seat and try to enjoy the next two hours of the concert, might as well when she's already here. She expected to see the usual performance, band members dancing and singing to song that she cant relate at all, but she was taken by surprised to see instead seven most handsome man she has ever laid her eyes on, with voices and dance moves that she has never seen before.

But one of the members caught her eyes the most and she cant help but to stare at that particular man as he dances and sings.

He's so handsome.

To her surprised, the man that she has been oogling suddenly look her way and out of the thousand girls in the crowd, he gave a smile just for her and winked. Y/N placed her hand over her chest, trying to calm down her racing heart. The rest of the concert went by quickly, with Y/N solely focusing on him and him giving her the occasional glance and smile as he tries to concentrate in his performance for the rest of the concert.

Y/N is more than ready to go home and sleep once the concert ended, wanting nothing more than to forget the attraction she felt. What's the point anyway. He's an idol. Someone her parents would never approved, and idols are just Romeos and players anyway, and she got no time for that. But of course things isnt going her way when her friends dragged her to the after party.

"Where are we going? You promised I only have to attend the concert! Can I just please go home?" She grumbled as she's being dragged left and right to a huge club nearby. Her friends rolled their eyes to her protests.

"I swear Y/N. If I dont know you since birth, I would have thought that you are some 80 year old grandma and not some 19 year old teenager! Chill out and loosen up a little. We are going to the after party!" Her friend excitedly tells her. "Just for a while okay?"

"Urghh, fine! See, this is proof of how much I love you! You can never say otherwise!"

"I know babe. Thats why I love you too," Yumi kisses her cheek and continue to dragged her along.

And say hello Little did I know That you were Romeo

"Hello, I'm Seokjin, but you can call me Jin," the man that she has been staring at for the last two hours during the concert is now standing right in front of her, flashing her his eye blinding smile, introducing himself. Y/N stared at him as she silently continue to drink her juice through her straw.

God, he's even more handsome up close.

"Hi Jin," Y/N replied before turning around to walk away from him but he grabbed her arms. Y/N was surprised by his actions and looked down at where he had gripped her arms, making Jin immediately let go of her.

"Uh.. sorry. I didnt mean to be rude, but I didnt catch your name?" Y/N can hear the nervousness in the once confident man.

"That's because I didnt tell you,"

"Well, can you tell me then?"

"Why should I?"

"Because I like you," Jin's blunt answer surprised her. Never have she met anyone this direct about his feelings towards her before.

"How can you? You dont even know me, dont you?" She questioned, eyebrows raised.

"That's why I would like to," Jin smile. "I mean, I can see that you atleast like my performance. So even if you ended up not liking me personally, you will atleast like me as a performer," he reasoned.

"How are you so sure that I'm looking at you? I might be looking at.... that guy," Y/N points to another one of his band members who is sitting quietly at the corner of the club. Jin laughs. The sound of his laughs is so cheerful it makes Y/N smile.

"Him? Jungkook? Oh come on. He's like a little fetus! Its not possible for you to look at him when you have a real man right here!" He grins.

"Havent you considered that maybe its you that are too old? Besides, he's sexy when he dance that hip thrust cheography you guys had," Y/N answered back. Jin almost got offended and actually believes she might be attracted in Jungkook instead but smile when he notice the teasing smile and the toned of her voice.

"Nahh. My age is just right. And plus, I'm worldwide handsome. There is no way you are looking at someone else other than me," he winked, making Y/N laughs out loud. "So what do you say? Can I get that name and the chance to get to know you better?"

Y/N contemplated for a while. Should she? She have to admit, she is very very attracted to this man. His sense of humour, his confidence, the fact that he likes her before even knowing about her family background, the fact he wanted to get to know her better instead of just wanting to get in her pants. Should she?

Y/N knows its no used. Their relationship is never going to go anywhere. But she really really wants to get to know this Seokjin too. And with a huge smile she finally answers,

"Yeah, sure. I would love that. I'm Y/N. Its nice to meet you Seokjin,"

Y/N's relationship with Seokjin grew too fast too soon, and the moment they exchanged their numbers that night, their feelings for each other started to grow too. Before long, Jin is already declaring his love for her, taking Y/N by surprised, but of course, is recriprocated. Finally knowing who Y/N really is and understanding where her parents stand about their relationship, the two of them tried their best to keep their relationship a secret. They even went as far as Jin throwing pebbles up to Y/N's windows during some nights, sneaking in to spend the night talking with her or to help her jumped out so they can run the town for the night.

Y/N felt like a princess. Hidden in a protected tower with her prince coming every night to actually save her, to take her to see the world she was so hidden from.

But how can a princess who has eyes watching her every move is able to keep a secret this big for long?

Y/N came back from class one day only to be greeted with her parents waiting for her in the great hall, serious looks on her face. But what is more surprising is the man sitting opposite of them from the couch is none other than Kim Seokjin, who gave her a small smile once he saw her enters.

"Jin? What are you doing here?" She asks nervously and turned to her parents once she received no answer. "Mom? Dad?"

"Well, atleast you dont play dumb and pretend that you dont know him," her father breaks the tension. Y/N walks over to Jin and held his hand, making both her parents looks at her with a warning.

"Why should I? You probably already know anyway. I love him," she takes a stand, openly defying her parents.

"Y/N, this is unacceptable! How can you date someone like... him behind our backs!" Her father raised his voice, not believing his daughter bold answer. When did she learn how to defy them?

"What do you mean Dad? What do you mean by someone like him?" Y/N growled. How dare her father insulted the only man that actually cares for her. Oh, she knows exactly what her father meant but the way he said it just makes her wants to riled him up even more.

"Y/N... its okay," Jin tried to calm her down by her side.

"No its not Jin. How can he talk about you like that? You are the only man in my lonely life that truly cares about me. That really sees me for me, not as some prize," Y/N insisted as she held Jin's hand tighter, turning to face him with anger in her eyes.

"That's enough Y/N," her mother finally speaks up. Her mother never say much during times like this, but when she did, Y/N knows she meant it. "And you," her father turned to face Jin with rage in my eyes. "I think I have told you multiple times to stay away from my daughter! Why are you still here?"

Her father's statement shocked Y/N to to the core. Multiple times? Have they met each other before? How long exactly has her father known about them?

"Wait..m..multiple times?" Y/N shifed her gaze back and forth from her father to Jin. Her father only looks back with fire in his eyes as Jin lowered his eyes, not wanting to catch Y/N's. "Jin?"

"Your.. your father has send his men a few times to see me before Y/N. To ask me to stop seeing you. He offered to pay me off at first, but I didnt accept it. I love you too much for that," Jin explained quietly. Y/N's mouth opened in shocked. She would never imagined her father would stooped that low just to ensure that she is married off to some wealthy family. Doesnt he care about her happiness at all? Cant he see how happy Jin is making her?

"Dad, how could you?!" Tears starts to pricked her eyes as she tried to blink them back, but to no avail. Her heart hurts too much to think that her own father would do this. Her father steps closer to her and kneeled down to her level.

"Y/N, please trust me. I did what I have to do to ensure you get what's best for you sweetheart," he glanced at Jin. "And he is not it. You might think that you love him now but it will all pass. Celebrities like him will only play you honey. They will leave you the moment something better came around," he continued as he glared towards Jin who has now stood up, gritting his teeth.

"No, we love each other Dad," Y/N shakes her head.

"I dont mean to be rude Sir, but I think you underestimate the love I felt for your daughter," Jin finally take a stand. How can he just stand by when her father just accused him of not loving Y/N as much as he did? To that Y/N's mother stood up and walked towards them with a purpose, rolling her eyes.

"Listen here young man. I know boys like you. You are well known and good looking, and dating Y/N is only a challenge for you. To date the princess that nobody can get. Isnt that right? You will get bored of her once you get your fill!"

"Excuse me Ma'am, but you dont know me!" Jin grabbef Y/N's hand and held it tight, much to her parent's displeasure. "I'm not like that. I truly love your daughter," he turns to Y/N. "Baby, please believe me. I love you. I love eveything about you and nothing is going to change that. Not even this," Jin gave her a small smile. Y/N tighten her the grip of her hand that is holding his and smile back. Looking at Jin now, she believes that they will get through everything.

Y/N's mother scoffed at the affection displayed in front of her. "Ah stupid young love. So refreshing," she mocked. "Lets see if you are still going to stand by her side if it will ruined your beloved... what is it called again? Bangtan?"

"What?" Jin's head turned so fast the moment he heard his group's name. They can do anything to him and he is willing to take it, but whay is he supposed to do if they are involving the rest of the boys? Bangtan means everything to him. They are his family. They had gone so much together. He would never let his brothers get hurt because of him.

"Im giving you a chance now Seokjin. Leave Y/N and I will make sure your Bangtan Boys will continue to succeed. But... if you still choose to stay with your foolish feelings, then I have no choice but to make some calls and by day break tomorrow, everything you and your little friends has worked for all these years will be gone. Bangtan will no longer be accepted in industry nor will any of you will be able to start anew. I'll make sure of it," the elder woman smile in flourish, flashing such an evil smile.

"Mother, please no!" Y/N is full on crying now. She knows what her family is capable of doing. Even with a single flick, a life can be ruined. And she also know how much Bangtan means to Jin. He talks about them often, how he loves each and everyvone of them like his own little brother. Tbere is no way they are going to win this war.

Her mother ignored her daughter's plea, keeping her ice cold stare on Jin. "Make a decision Seokjin. And you better make a wise one," she smirked. Seokjin closes his eyes and inhale. He has never encountered someone so evil before. How can he choose from the two most important thing in his life? He turned to Y/N and see her crying uncontrollably, and in that moment he realizes that Y/N knows him well enough to already know what's he's decision going to be. A decision that will ultimately breaks her heart.

"Y/N..."

"No!" She ran out from the great hall and Jin followed after her instantly, only to found her sitting and crying on the large staircase in the middle of the mansion.

And I was crying on the staircase Begging you, please, don't go And I said, "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone I'll be waiting, all that's left to do is run You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess

Looking at the love of his life sobbing her heart out, face wet with tears and shoulders shaking breaks Jin's heart into pieces, but he know he have to do what needs to be done. He cant be selfish. He wont let his brothers suffer just because he wants to keep Y/N in his life, and her parents left her with no other choice. Why does with all the woman in the world, he has to fall in love with someone he cant have?

Jin sat down beside her on the staircase, taking her hand.

"Y/N..."

"Please dont leave me Jin..." Y/N begged through her tears, her voice sounded so broken it tore into Jin's heart, making his own eyes start to water.

"Y/N... I'm sorry. Im really really sorry," he sniffled. "But I have to,"

"Please Jin. I cant live without you. I just cant," Y/N starts to choke in her tears that just seems to increased.

"Baby... I'm so so sorry. But I cant do that to them,"

"How about me? How am I supposed to live without you? Why are you leaving me here? Caged in this prison?" She wailed, her heart breaking even further by the second.

"I'm.. I'm sorry baby,"

"Take me with you," her eyes wide as she makes the request, hands holding each other tight, heart filled with hope.

"Wh..what?"

"Take me with you Jin. I will follow you. Take me away from here. Take me away so we can be alone, happy together. Please Jin," she plead. Jin almost give in to her request. Spending a lifetime with her without her parents interference sounds heavenly to him. But he cant be selfish. If he do that now, he will just be ruining her life. She needs her parents' support one way or another. She might not see it now but Jin knows she will regret it in the future if he tske her away from them. He needs to stay strong. He needs to be the rock in their fragile relationship.

"Baby, you know you cant. I cant,"

"Jin..." Jin cupped her face, wet eyes staring into another.

"I'll come back for you one day Y/N. Wait for me. I swear to you that I will come back for you. You are my princess and we will have our fairytale ending Y/N. I love you so much," he leaned in and gave her one last long kiss before standing up and exited the mansion, leaving Y/N as a crying mess alone on the staircase.

True to his word, Jin didnt contact Y/N again after that day, making her parents very satisfied and somewhat surprised that the young man actually kept his promise. Looks like using Bangtan really does the trick. Although heartbroken, Y/N held on to Jin's last words to her, that he will come back. She didnt know if it means a year or a thousand years from now, but for Jin, she's willing to wait forever.

Her parents, on the other hands, takes Jin's silenced as a sign that they were right. As days passes by, they keep on reminding Y/N that Jin's love for her is not real, and it can simply be overshadowed by his love for his career. But Y/N knew better. She believes in Jin. She believes in the love that shone from his eyes when he look at her.

On one of the days that she misses him too much, Yumi, a sneaky little friend that she is, cooked up a plan to sneaked the two of them out to a see Jin as Bangtan is having a small concert, a collaboration with other artists on one cold night.

"You can just say you went for the other band if your parents find out," Yumi reasoned as she coaxed Y/N to go through with her plans. Its not that Y/N didnt want to see Jin. She almost died from missing him so much, she really wants to see him again, but she is afraid of the consequences of her actions would bring to Jin and his members.

"First of all, its not if Yumi. They will find out. Second," Y/N held out a second finger. "Do you think they are stupid? Of course they would know I went there to see Jin!"

"Yeah. But you parents says you cant date him. They didnt say you cant go to their concert! Afterall, your parents loves it when you are out socialising with other chaebols!" Y/N ponders on Yumi's reasoning. She got a point. Her parents might be the definition of evil, but they react with facts and common sense. As long as she went to the concert as a fan and not as a date, her parents cant stop her from going. Afterall, Yumi is right. They love it when she mingles with other heirs.

"Okay, I'm in," Y/N declared as Yumi clapped her hands in glee.

"Y/N? Wh.. what are you doing here?" Jin was startled when he entered the waiting room when the staff told him someone is waiting for him there after the show to see the face he missed the most sitting there, patiently waiting for him. She smile at him and Jin almost stopped breathing at her beauty.

"I wanted to see you," she stood up and without warning engulfed Jin in a tight embraced and captured his lips with her. After he recovered his initial shock, he immediately closes his eyes and kisses her back, pouring all the longing he felt all this while for her. After they broke the kiss, Y/N grinned at him.

"I miss you," she whispered.

"I miss you more. You have no idea baby," Jin whispered back as he continue to kiss all over face and her neck, taking in her scent. Y/N took his hand and lead him outside, to a more dark and hidden garden.

"Come with me. But we have to be quiet. I dont know who's watching me. And we are dead if they find us," despite the warning, Y/N still flashed him a smile so beautiful, making his heart soared like crazy.

God, he miss her. He miss her so much.

They finally lay down on the green grass, staring at the stars, hands never leaving each other.

"How much time do we have?" Jin softly asked. He wished they have forever. Just to stay like this. Just to enjoy the sound of each other's breathing.

"Not much..." Y/N replied sadly. "But close your eyes Jinnie. Lets just pretend that its just you and me here. Lets pretend that we are not here but in our own world," Jin can hear the smile in her voice as he smile back. Maybe he will. Just this once, he will let himself imagined that they are living in a world where they can be together. Just this once, he will escape this cruel world.

Romeo save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel This love is difficult, but it's real Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess

After just enjoying each other's presence in a comfortable silence, Y/N speaks up.

"You know... they are trying to convinced me that you really left me. That you never really loved me at all," she said quietly. Jin immediately raised himself on his elbows and turned to looked at Y/N.

"Do you believe them?"

Y/N took a moment to reply, making Jin anxious. Did he made a mistake? Did he make Y/N not trust him anymore?

"I almost did... but then I remembered our time together. And I know you cant possibly fake the love I felt from you," she turned her head towards him and smile. Jin exhale in relief.

"I love you Y/N. There was not a second goes by when I'm not with you that I didnt think about how to come back to you," he traced the outline of her beautiful face and run his thumb on her lips. "I know its difficult right now. I know you cant truly see how much you mean to me, but trust me, what I felt for you is real. I fell in love with you the moment I saw you that night and my feelings never ceased. You are the greatest thing that could ever happen to me Y/N," Y/N didnt say anything to Jin's heartfelt confession, instead she leaned in and pulled him for a kiss. They only broke the kiss when they are finally desperate for air and Jin turned his gazed towards her eyes. "Sometimes I'm afraid that you will finally get tired of fighting for us, for me and give up. Because I know you deserve better than this. Better than me," Jin confessed in a quiet voice, a confession that Y/N didnt expect. She never knew Jin felt that way when all along she always thought she was the one who didnt deserve someone as perfect as him.

"Dont be afraid Jinnie. I will love you forever. We will make it through. We will get through this mess and live happily together one day," she smile at him, calming his anxious heart. "Till then, remember that you are my prince and I will always be your princess,"

The moment was broken when Yumi texted Y/N, telling her its finally time to leave. With heavy heart they made it back to the waiting room where Jin gave her one last long kiss.

"Wait for me Y/N. It wont be long now. I will come for you. I swear I will come for you. I love you princess," was the last words he said before they untangled their fingers within each other grasps and Y/N ran back to where Yumi is waiting.

Jin and his members went on tour not long after that, making Y/N miss him even more. What's worse is that he never seems to call or text her at all, or even replied one of hers. Yes, maybe Jin is afraid of the consequences if her parents found out, but dont he miss her at all?

Is all his promises of love just a blatant lie?

Y/N hearts ached everytime he saw the news and it shows some interviews of Jin and his group members, laughing and making jokes. He looks happy and well, the total opposite of what Y/N is feeling. She reached for the remote and clicked the off button, no longer wanting to see the face she misses so much looking happy and completely fine without her.

Has he given up on her?

Did Jin forget about her?

Is he ever going to come back for her?

Y/N closes her eyes and her tears trickled down her face, and this time she let it flow, no longer bothering to hide how broken she's feeling. She took out her phone and with the last of her strength, she send Jin one last text.

I still love you Jin. But how about you?

Jin sighed as he read the text that he just received. He wanted nothing more than to reply to her text and tell her that he loves her more than anything. That he buried himself in his dance and music just so he can try to stop thinking about her, which of course, never works.

Jin knows Y/N's faith in him is fading, but this is the deal he has made to win his love back. Hidden from Y/N's knowledge, Jin has met up with her father one last time before he went off for tour after discussing the issue with the boys. Supportive as they are, the boys convinced Jin that they believed in their teamwork and effort and no one could bring them down if their fans still believes in them. Even if Y/N's parents decide to bring them down, they will rise again from the ashes. They are sure of it. They told him to go ahead and fight for his love. Surprised by his determination and confidence, to still fight for his daughter even after threatening him with the biggest threat they could muster, Y/N's father finally decides to give Jin one final test before he can be deem good enough for his daughter. He was not to contact Y/N for the duration of 6 months, which is the length of his tour, and if by the time he came back the two is still sure about their feelings, then Y/N's father will give his permission for Jin to finally marry his daughter if he chose to do so.

Y/N's father is convinced that their young love wont last that long. Jin will get bored and find someone else during their tour, especially when he is always surrounded by beautiful girls throwing themselves at him, and Y/N... well, he has no other choice but to make his daughter learn the hard way, that modern days Romeo are more dangerous and is out to break your heart into pieces in a blink of an eye.

Little did he know how wrong he was. How Jin is counting every single second that passes by for him to go back into Y/N's arms again.

Please wait for me baby. Just a little bit more.

"Romeo save me, I've been feeling so alone I keep waiting for you but you never come Is this in my head? I don't know what to think"

Y/N sat crossed leg on the sand as she watches the waves crashes the shore. She has finally given up. It has been six months and she didnt hear anything from Jin. She is sure that he has move on by now. She sat as her tears once again flow as the happy memories spend with Jin at this very beach during the early stage of their relationship came back to her.

There is no point remembering someone that doesnt remember you.

As she blinked back the tears, promising that this is the last time she would cry for him, she felt a someone standing behind her. Afraid, she turned around cautiously only to see Jin's broad figure sheilding her from the sun, smiling down at her, giving her his hand to help her up on her feet. Y/N blinked a few times, not sure if its really him or is she finally hallucinating from missing him too much as she reached up to him.

"Are... are you really here?" Jin laughs at her adorable question.

"Yes Y/N. Its me. Im back. Im really here," he said as he grabbed her hands and placed it on his broad chest, making Y/N feel his thumping heart. Y/N couldnt help but let her tears fall once again when she saw the face she love and miss so much. Too much.

"Where have you been?" She sobbed and hit his chest. "Why do you leave me with not even a single word?"

Jin grabbed her tiny hands to stopped her from hitting him.

"Im sorry baby,"

"I dont forgive you!" She yelled between her sobs, making Jin smile at how adorable she is. "I have been feeling so alone. Where have you been," she sobbed again, more like a statement rather than a question. "I keep waiting for you to reply. To say something, anything to show that you still want me, still love me. But you didnt say anything!" Y/N is now full on sobbing and Jin pulled her in his embraced. One day he's going to explain to her why he did what he did, but not today. Today, he has something more important to do.

"Is it just me? Am I only imagining your love for me? Is it in my head? Did you not love me anymore?" Y/N continued to wailed when Jin didnt say anything, tiny hands keeps hitting his chest again.

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone I love you and that's all I really know I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress

Without saying a word, Jin knelt down on the sandy beach, holding Y/N's hand.

"Baby, princess, Y/N..." he calls out softly, making Y/N stopped her sobbing and looked at him with wide eyes. "One day I will answer all your questions. Every single one of them, but not today, not right now" he smile, making her confused.

"Today I want to tell you how you make me feel. How your beauty never ceased to amazed me. How you own my heart since the moment you catch my eye from the thousand other people in the crowd, from the way you make me laugh that makes my heart beats faster, how you always make me want to be a better person, how you always make me feel loved. Y/N, I love you so much that I dont think even the word love is enough to describe my feelings for you. I will fight for you forever. I will do anything to be yours," he finally take out a diamond ring from his pocket and presented it to her, making Y/N gasps.

"I want to love you forever, but for now, I will just start with today. Y/N, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

"Oh Jinnie," Y/N's grinned is so big it stretched across her face as tears are cascading fiercely down her face. But this time, its tears of happiness for sure.

"I had a deal with you father Y/N, and he finally approved of us," he finally explained softly. Y/N was surprised to say the least.

"You... you really did that for me?"

"I told you I would do anything for you. And I mean it baby. I love you. I love you so much, I dont think I know how to do anything else Y/N," he smile so wide at her, hands still grasping hers.

"So baby, will you just say yes already?"

Y/N laughs and sniffled her tears away.

"Yes Kim Seokjin, yes!"

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you.

Y/N smile at the memory as she felt a pair of hands hugging her waist from behind, kissing her neck.

"What is my beautiful wife thinking about?"

"I was thinking about our younger days. How we first met. And what we've been through to be this happy. Our own love story," Y/N tilted her head to give her husband a peck.

"Ah the good times," Jin grins as he kiss the top of her head.

"Of all the amazing love story out there, I still love our story the most," Jin turns her around, still keepinf his arms around her waist, to face him as he continues to give her pecks on the forehead.

"Well, why dont we continue to write our story then? I think Seokmin needs a new baby sister," he winks and laughs when Y/N's face turns red with embarassament, slapping him in the arms. "My amazing, adorable wife. I love you so much Y/N. You are really the greatest love story to me,"

Y/N looks up to her beloved husband and kiss him. "I love you too Kim Seokjin, you will always be my favorite love story,"

It was about 8 now everyone was in their rooms still getting ready, wyatt was downstairs talking to security and the media setting everyone where they need to be.

“HE DID WHAT ?” y/n stylist says

“Yeah i know, “ y/n says looking down at her phone while getting her hair done.

“so this boy is obviously madly in-love with you, and you obviously like him.” the stylist says

“but...” y/n says looking up in the mirror at the reflection of the stylist

“why have you two not tried out the whole relationship thing ?” the stylist says

“Stacy, finn is my best friend i love him but i cant’t put him through what i am going through, plus .... i am not even close to good enough for him.” y/n says she looks down at her legs. Stacy walks over in front of her and squats down so she is looking up at her

“Sweetie look at me,” she says grabbing y/n hands “you are the most amazing girl i have ever worked with, for a 16yr old you are so mature and humble. Sometimes you even teach me a thing or two. You can’t make the decision for finn, if he wants to take that chance and risk it all for you then let him. Y/n love is so rare and unique you should never take the chance for granted.” stacy stands up also helping y/n up, “now take a deep breath, close your eyes and pick yourself up you have somewhere to be.” the two smile at each other

“thanks stacy and do me a favor,” y/n stays going to grab her perfume “stop being such a great friend.” y/n laughs and so does stacy, she begins walking out the door

“hey girly one more thing, have as much fun as you can.” Stacy winks at /n and then y/n walks out.

As she starts walking downstairs she sees wyatt going downstairs too.

“hey wy, i havent seen you all day.” y/n says smiling and hugging him

“oh wow you have no idea how busy i have been that hug really helps.” wyatt says then looks her up and down “you clean up nice, well obviously i mean you are a model, anyway you look really beautiful.” wyatt says smiling, y/n smiles and looks down at her outfit

“yeah, kudos to the girls for the jumpsuit and my team never fails me,” the two smile at each other then wyatt puts his arm out for y/n to grab

“shall we ?” wyatt says then y/n nods and they start walking down, everyone meets in the kitchen so they can walk around and make their entrance. Y/n sees all of the people and just stops

“hey you okay ?” wyatt says he looks over at y/n and sees her face, she’s smiling slightly and he could see how nervous she was.

“if i could cry right now i would.” y/n says looking at him

“listen y/n i know we havent been friends for long but you should know all of us here have grown to love you and see you as part of the family. No matter what those stupid so called fans say, you will always be good enough for all of us and hey if finn doesn’t take you, im single so feel free to call me.” wyatt says winking at her then laughing causing y/n to laugh as well. She then turns back to them takes a deep breath and starts walking again.

“i officially believe in love at first sight,” sadie says

“he’s like 20 years older than you.” noah says

“okay and ?” sadie says then everyone laughs

“oh wow y/l/n you look stunning” caleb says

“wow did the king of dressing good just compliment me on my outfit, i am truly honored.” she says touching her heart and slightly bowing then she giggles

“okay so heres the deal, everyone knows who they are walking with right ?” wyatt says looking at everyone “ okay good, so everyone just needs to go out the back door where the pool is and a couple of security guards will lead to where to go. Now i want everyone to be on their best behaviors and please do not break anything.” wyatt takes a deep breath and fixes himself, he then starts walking with everyone towards the door but y/n hesitates

“hey, have you seen finn ?” y/n asks gaten, he gets ready to say something then his eyes slightly shift to see right behind her. He smiles and points at him y/n turns and sees the beautiful boy. They both look each other up; and down, finn was wearing a armani tux and his hair wasn’t touched at all

“if you’re done checking me out, we have an entrance to make.” he says smiling at her then putting his hand out, she takes it and they start walking around.

Once they got to the front the paparazzi goes absolutely crazy when they see fin and y/n entering together, finn leans over to her closely and says “you look absolutely gorgeous tonight by the way.” she smiles looking down and he just smiles at her. Inside the music was going and a lot of people are already their.

“Y/n i want to introduce you to someone, y/n meet ansel ,” finn says y/n looks at finn then looks at ansel with absolute shock

“oh my god, i love your music and your movies wow is this real life or am i dreaming.” y/n says ansel laughs and hugs you both

“y/n y/l/n you are definitely prettier in person, loved your variety shoot by the way.” ansel says

“thank you so much, “ y/n smiles at him

“hey listen man it was good seeing have fun.” finn says shaking hands with ansel, the two walk off

Music was blaring, people were dancing, and talking, it was a perfect night. Around 10:30 y/n and millie and caleb were dancing, they were having a blast. The music they were dancing to ends and on comes finn and y/n song, she looks around the room to find him then she sees him getting up on the stage where the dj is set up

“uh hi can i have everyones attention,” finn says into the microphone, everyone gets quiet and the paparazzi starts taking pictures

“first of all i want to thank everyone for coming and making this the most fun night i have had,” everyone claps and finn laughs and looks at y/n

“but what i mainly came up here was to give a sort of toast, so if everyone could do me a favor and take your phones out and go live or just record what im about to say that would be great.” y/n can see how nervous he is

“There has been a lot of stuff going on about me and millie and i just want to say for the 100th time, it isn’t real, sorry.” he says shrugging his shoulders and everyone laughs “the girl i actually having feelings for is in this room right now, her name is y/n, she is my best friend and kind and beautiful. She doesn’t realize how amazing she is and i just want to do something to show her how much i am in-love with her. So if everyone could follow me into the living area and bring your chairs i have a little video to show.” he gets off the stage and everyone starts walking with him whispers filled the room. Chosen then grabs y/n arm and directs her to where she is supposed to sit.

The video starts and its a compilation of videos and pictures of finn and y/n together, then it switches to the cast members talking about her. It was the most beautiful video ever, the light shines back on the boy

“so now that everyone has seen and recorded my publicly saying i love this girl, you can all go back to the party, thank you.” everyone walks back to the room and starts dancing and talking. Finn runs to find y/n and once he does he sees her still sitting in the chair.

“Come with me,” he says she stands up and follows him to the party, their song is still playing so they start dancing.

“I love you,” y/n says grabbing the boys face he looks at her and then smiles and goes in to kiss her, she finally kisses back and everyone starts taking pictures. Y/n giggles and looks at him, he smiles at her then grabs her face

“i love you too.”

I mean idk if ur talking abt my YOU hane riko, but oki i havent talked about them in a while anyways! Also disclaimer: This is apart of the quote on quote, canonical events surrounding my next gen AU, so there is some(ahem, lots of) drama. (ESPECIALLY, regarding the relationships between you, yohane, and riko)

(if u dont want drama or any storyline, I suggest just scrolling to the end, where theres mostly just fluff)

(okay enough talking but like, there are SOME nsfw things, but not like, enough where its all about it.)

Yohane and Riko had twins; Yuuki Kuro Tsushima and Ryo Shiro Tsushima, Yuuki’s a girl, Ryo a boy.

Yuuki has almost impossibly good memory (Remembers everything back to the womb), and so she’s encountered times where it hurt her more than it helped her. She’s quite like Yoshiko, in a sense, she’s always very secretive on what she feels, closed off from the world for years.

Riko wasn’t aware that Yuuki and Ryo were Yoshiko’s, she figured they were You’s, as they had been dating, and she’d gotten prego at their after-party of the marriage. Yohane had dealt with extreme guilt from it, and was scarred (Hugely) because of her “mistake”.

Yoshiko chose their middle names, surprisingly, Riko and You didn’t know what they were, so Yoshiko chose them. Riko and You felt like they couldn’t raise both successfully (You mains a ship, so she’s not gonna be home often/Riko is a award winning pianist, so she wouldn’t be able to find time to give them all the necessary attention they need.) So, Yuuki was entrusted to Yoshiko.

Ryo had inherited Yoshiko’s violet eyes, but You had concluded it was because her father too had violet eyes.

Yuuki, and her infinite memory, remembers every single detail about the drama, and she’s kind of mentally unstable due to the trauma, she felt like she aged way before she was even born. She’s pretty quiet, especially regarding family and such, she acts confident and mature, but really, she’s fragile, scared and yearning for her family to bind together.

Ryo, Riko, and You are all completely oblivious to everything, they have the perfect life, pretty much. Ryo isn’t even aware of his few minutes older sister.

Yoshiko had raised Yuuki mainly in New York, she was only in her early twenty’s when Yuuki was born, and she needed an escape from her other family, so she participated in a university there. In her absence, Yoshiko was constantly trying to find someone to fill the empty role that she knew Yuuki deserved, guilt ridden and stress-filled. She went through thirteen exes, half of them didn’t like Yuuki, the others couldn’t get through Yuuki to bond with.

Riko and You, for the entire 17 years they didn’t see Yoshiko, or Yuuki, they worried. They were ready to reunite with their (or, Riko’s,) daughter, and to raise her like they should have.

Yoshiko tries her very best, to give Yuuki a good life, that is, and always will be, her top priority. She’s built up a video game company to give Yuuki a luxurious life, and to have something to entertain her, and, as much attention she could give, there was never a day in Yuuki’s life where she was yelled at. She just wants the best for her daughter, even if she wasn’t her legal mom. Both of them are pretty closed off from the world because of their family.

When Riko heard of the news of her daughter and her daughter’s “father” returning, she was really happy. So happy, she hadn’t even realized that her giddiness wasn’t from seeing her daughter all grown up, it was from the thought of seeing Yoshiko again. She was yearning for Yoshiko, when she thought it was Yuuki.

Upon realizing this, Riko had a huge relationship crisis. She didn’t understand why the feeling of Yoshiko returning, possibly into her arms, made her so happy and heart-aching. She was confused with every feeling for Yoshiko.

You, herself, was guilty. She slept with Chika, a year after their marriage, they were all drunk, but Riko said it was okay, well, until they found out Chika was 6 months pregnant. The scars are long gone, however.

When the two bluettes finally returned home, Riko and You were both extremely confused at Yuuki’s striking resemblance to Yoshiko. They shrug it off, thinking of it as another genetic thing. They were also surprised at Yoshiko’s large growth spurt (Riko, who drank stress-coffee all the fucking time, stopped growing and is now shorter than her fellow second years.) who was, now the same height as You, who was the third tallest in Aqours.

Yuuki, for the longest time, only referred to every Aqours member (Save papako) by their last or full name. They all were weirded out at it, especially You and Riko.

Yuuki and kotoumi kid 2, Kameko, get along like NozoEli gets along. Kameko is the only one that’s not apart of the drama that is aware of the drama. She’s pretty much the only one who see’s the fragile side of Yuuki, the one who’s been bottling up her emotions for years.

The longer Riko was around with Yoshiko near, or alone with her thoughts, Riko’s mind was subconsciously dreaming of Yoshiko, her heart ached extremely for her, Riko felt her body boiling with jealousy when Yoshiko was around someone who wasn’t her, and she still didn’t know why. Said girl, unfortunately, still can’t look or think about Riko clearly. She can’t get over her guilt, and her crush. This makes a huge gap between the two parents.

Ryo was shook when Riko and You told him about Yuuki, and their siblingship. Yuuki was partially smug.

Yuuki and Riko had a somewhat strange relationship; Yuuki, with her memory, was constantly dropping hints to her true lineage for Riko, and her true love.

Riko finally realized her feelings when she saw the messages exchanged between Yoshiko and her at the time current girlfriend, she realized upon realizing how she wished that girl was her, and how she wished she was all Yoshiko looked at and felt about. She had a long night of crying to herself because of it.

The closest the two got to one another when the intimacy was high and the tension was tense, they ended up passionately kissing due to it. Yoshiko broke the tension, and romance, from fear of destroying You and Riko’s relationship, and their family. Riko had a break down after it.

The third years were the first in Aqours besides Yoshiko to realize the drama, and then it was Chika, then the first years, then finally You and Riko.

You and Riko’s relationship was in absolute jeopardy after the realization. It got worse when Riko and Yoshiko got drunk and almost fucked, again. They were in mid-make out in bed when You, now sobered up, caught them. They divorced shortly after, it was for the best.

(heres the fluff and stuff)

When Riko and Yoshiko finally got together, as should be, Yuuki, was, not exaggerating, a fucking happy ball of tears. She was suuuper happy, she cried every morning for a week. Her dream had finally come true.

Ryo was a bit shook from the change, but adjusted quickly, he found himself happier than ever, like a piece of himself was lost and found without knowing.

Yoshiko and Yuuki felt like the burden finally lifted off their shoulders, and felt far more freedom than ever. Still, they had a hard time adjusting to the new change, and the new ability to open up and vent to their family, but Riko and Ryo had their backs.

Since then, Yuuki has taken some form of a chuunibyo (Ryo too) and now Riko can’t tell if she should be regretting it or not (But secretly she’s quite fond of the resemblance.).

Ryo and Yuuki, being siblings, and twins, have some extreme competitions between one another. Whether it be who could play piano with no mistakes the fastest, or who could finish eating the fastest. Ryo is the stronger one, while Yuuki is easily the faster one.

Riko wakes them all up, first, and always, is Yoshiko, then she wakes up Yuuki (Who, like herself, is a light sleeper.) then she wakes up the hibernating bear that is Ryo. She often has to turn on all the lights, take off his blankets, and dump water on him. Every. Single. Day.

They’re good friends with the Sonoda’s (Yoshiko and Umi are like sister and older sister), so they often have dinner with them on Fridays. Yuuki is the oldest one so she takes pride in always being the one to babysit them (Even though all credit should be sent to the third oldest one, Ukio, he IS the mom of the damn pack.)

Yoshiko is your classic overprotective dad-mom, she’s aware of the popularity her daughter gets because of her job and success, which means she gets a lot, and a lot, of love letters, mostly from gold-diggers. So yeah, when Yuuki questions why all of the letters are gone the next day, they were burnt in the 9th Circle of Hell.

Riko and Yoshiko are both undeniably, tooth rotting fluffy, romantics. They are REALLY soft, and sweet to one another. Not only, has the variety of pet names expanded, the overdose of fluff increased. In the morning, they cuddle in bed when the kids aren’t up, and before breakfast Yoshiko’s always hugging Riko from behind, her chin on her shoulder, and sometimes feed each other. They aren’t married, but they act like they’re already on their honeymoon. It was, really vomit-inducing (Says Yuuki).

The biggest fight the duo had was when Riko found out that before they got together, Yoshiko slept with several other girls in her absence. Yoshiko didn’t even know what was wrong about it, the drama was still there and they hadn’t even reunited at the time. But then again it all clicked when she realized there was a chance of STD and getting another girl pregnant during that time. THANKFULLY, their worries weren’t true. Though Riko has Yoshiko put on a condom here and there for safety (I mean how the fuck would she get Riko preggo, wheres the logic)

Yoshiko, nowadays, has more of a Dia-aura. Serious but kind and dedicated. Dia is proud, to say the least.

Yuuki and Ryo have different bedrooms, Yuuki’s is in more dark colors (She likes dark blue), while Ryo’s is more pastel. They fight over the bathroom that connects their bedrooms, though.

The two are both your reliable senpai, they inherit the smarts and maturity of Riko (When they’re in public). It hurts how Yoshiko has three people who are at a constant rate of correcting every little thing she does (Yuuki does it because she knows how annoying it is, Ryo does it just cause, and Riko because her OCD won’t allow it.).

Yuuki and Ryo worked at 7-Eleven for quite some time because Yoshiko refused to give them the latest video game that Yoshiko’s brand released for free, and both of them reaaaally wanted it, so that’s how they worked at the same 7-Eleven Riko part-timed at for a full two months.

The two once walked in on Yoshiko and Riko having some (Very) heated sex, all of them couldn’t look one another in the eyes for a while after that.

Ryo, as the council vice president, is pretty close with Ukio, who’s the council president. Yuuki jokingly said she’d start a reelection to become president and accidentally set off a real reelection for council president. She was president for a week before she returned the role to Ukio.

Yuuki is a natural at piano, but mains the violin and guitar. Ryo plays piano and the flute.

There was a time where Riko had accidentally scheduled two recitals at the same time, so Yoshiko ended up dying her hair and changing her hairstyle to look like Riko’s. The only issue was the huge height difference, and stature. Riko’s body was far more feminine while Yoshiko had that serious business person look. You and Yoshiko often worked out too (They surprisingly got along well like they used to, despite the whole ordeal.) so both of them were pretty bulky. So at the start of the recital Yuuki was a Riko-copy, then when the curtains closed swapped with Yoshiko, who actually played (Apparently Tsushima’s are natural pianists.). Yoshiko and Yuuki were teased for their red hair for a while until they finally were able to remove it.

Yuuki is a huge prankster, and no one knows it other than her family and friends. She’s the cool mature senpai, no one would believe it if she pulled that prank and dropped a water bucket onto Koizumi-sensei. Ryo berates her after.

They once went to Universal Studios in LA. Riko and Ryo relied a lot on their English-speaking-able bluettes to get around and be a translator. Yoshiko’s accent is pretty well hidden (She was in New York for a full 18 years, her English has gotten really well since then, practically can rival Mari.)

Yuuki was born on New Years, at 11:39 PM, while Ryo was a day after at 12:03 AM Jan 2nd. They, along with Dia, celebrate their birthdays till 1AM so they get Ryo’s day as well. It’s a fun time for everyone.

Actually, all of their birthdays are absolute bangers. They play all their old songs as idols, and get blackout drunk (Which is why they have the real party separate from the kids.). They think they don’t know, but Yuuki knows everything.

A few nights ago I accidentally brushed the side of my neighbor's car with my front bumper (cause she was parked like an idiot as usual). I'm taking full responsibility of it cause it's my fault and I have no problem with that. Initially I was going to pay for the scrape to be compounded out and whatever else was wrong as a result of me hitting it. However, when I spoke to her, she started pointing out a ridiculous amount of things: there's a scratch in addition to the scrape (ok, sure), she says I cracked her light (maybe I did, it's possible) but she's also saying that I caused her tire to pop out and that there's tread missing from it (which makes absolutely no sense because I didn't hit the tire or rim or wheel well at all). Basically, she expects a whole new paint job and a set of tires which is ridiculous for the small amount of damage that was done. I want to make sure she isn't trying to take advantage of my insurance company and cause my rates to skyrocket as a result. The car is a complete piece of sh*t and she doesn't take care of it at all - the paint's dull, the rims are rusted - and I think she's trying to fix these things by making it like they were a result of me hitting her. I have no problem at all taking responsibility for the damage I did, but I do have a problem with her making things up and trying to fix other issues through my insurance company. The last claims representative I spoke with told me that I would not be contacted by the adjuster at all since there is no damage to my car. Since she's going to be talking with the adjuster and I won't, I'm afraid she's going to exaggerate the amount of damage. Should I call my insurance company and tell them this? Will they care? hey journal!

i had an off day today. i woke up early, showered, cut and prepared my lunch for the day, packed grapes to snack on, and was overall in a pretty good mood. i even stayed awake for the entire train ride up north and while i did run into the homeless guy again, he didnt recognize me this time. phew. but i started it off well! i did! but then i preceeded to feel very overwhelmed and I can’t tell if im just being lazy or if today was honestly an off day or what. i think it’s bc i do have a tendency to work fast in general but bc of that, i usually have a lot of free time and a lot of time for a break but today, i didnt feel like i had a break. it was just one thing after the other and all so fast! And I’ve been getting more “fire drill” requests recently where clients need something ASAP. Which haven’t been too hard. It’s just a lot to take care of I guess. And it could just be that it’s a busy season right now. But it was just today and I do feel like tomorrow will be better. I just need to come up with a few different drafts for the one pager and the company map. I’m thinking of looking into flow charts? Or an organizational map? Or maybe it’s a chart? Anyway, I did one for ITM that came out pretty nice so maybe I’ll mimic the style. I think I’m just having such a hard time bc I don’t exactly know what they want whereas my work for the clients have been pretty straightforward.

Sometimes I wonder if I’m too “perfect” and because of that, I lack a personality.

I didn’t actually tell anyone the above thought bc I thought it’d just come off as cocky but it was an actual concern! but I don’t think it’s true, haha. I’m passionate, loyal, determined, and hardworking. I’m not as goal-oriented as I used to be and I’m a lot more open to mistakes bc I know it’s not the end of the world. I’ve been able to overcome my fear of failure and it’s been immensely helpful. Although sometimes, I do still wonder if I’m not putting my best foot forward because I’m not a perfectionist anymore and worry if I should revert to those old habits. But I was so unhappy then and I’ve been able to do a lot more now without making every draft a “perfect” draft.

I didn’t realize the people in my class from Sa-Rang went on their road trip recently and it looks like they had a good time and I was actually not at all worried about missing out. In fact, I think if I went, it would’ve just been awkward. I’m glad theyre having a good time. I just don’t think my personality fits in with them. Everyone is so competitive and I’ve tried to play those games before and I feel like if I called them out on it, they’d just chalk it off to me overreacting and they just dont trust me bc of the game and not bc of the past. But I feel like it would be bc of the past. I just wish they’d give me a chance. I actually feel like a real, decent, valid human being with my D&D friends and co-workers and peers out here. And with them. I always felt like I tried to speak up but they would ignore me. I was a voice always unheard and it made me feel invisible and like less of a person. And it felt like a norm so whenever people did acknowledge my existence, I was so touched. So touched to know that at least someone could see me. But how sad is that? I know who I am and I know the good that I have done and I know my place in God’s Kingdom. But whenever I’m with them, everything just falls apart and I question my identity and I just really don’t want to go back and face that again. I only have a month left before I have to. I want to make the most of my time here so that I’m not so afraid when I go back there. I do need to stand my ground with them and I know that I shouldn’t be this afraid to go back to my home church but I am just so afraid of how they’d react and judge me bc they’re the people I call “home.” And if that falls apart, then what. I do have Lakeview here and I’m glad but it’s still a work in progress for sure. I also want to make sure I’m doing things to help and invest into others because I genuinely care for them and not so that they’ll be grateful and thankful towards me later. I do want to genuinely serve them. I do. And I know that I can get into my own head a lot but I do want to really care for them on a deeper level. I also worry that whenever I reach out to guys, they think I’m asking them out on a date but I’m not. I actually just perceive them as I perceive girls—as hurting people and I want to be there to help them through it.

I have “Jessie’s Girl” stuck in my head and as catchy as it is, it’s distracting my writings.

I’m really excited to sing karaoke with my friends on Friday and I just belt out my horrible horrible voice. I am totally prepared to lose my voice, HAHA.

I’m just really conflicted, I guess.

On the one hand, I do really want to go home and just be home and not have to worry about anything but to just be in the presence of my parents and sister and to have the opportunity to go out on more late night adventures with Andrew, Aurora, and David. Those are always fun! And admittedly, forcing hangouts with Jeanne, Grace An, Tina and David Kang were always kind of awkward and I shouldn’t force these things. If people want to hangout with me then they can hit me up. But I’m only in town for so long and I would much rather spend time with people who actually genuinely care about me.

I’ve also been so busy with my internship and havent had time to work on my coding skills :( And I want to start designing my D&D character too! Maybe I’ll start sketching on the train tomorrow or something.

I need to do my dishes and practice my VBS dance moves too! Hopefully Saturday? :/ I want to be prepared and ready to teach 2 more dances that I’m confident in on Sunday! And then...I’m not sure what we’ll do for the rest of the time. Maybe we can all work together on the fifth dance and just keep practicing every Sunday. I do need to make sure they can confidently dance on their own without watching me. I’m worried about one of the bigger girls because she is me. She’s not bad at dancing. She’s just not confident in her skills and I want to make sure she knows that she is seen. She is real. And valid. And so important and perfect in God’s eyes. I know I was pretty nervous last Sunday but I do want to really pray for them and be a sort of mentor figure for them. We just started training and I already love all of them so much. It was also pretty disheartening when I asked for fun facts about them and they just resorted to being a PK, as if that’s all they’re good for when in reality, they are so much more than that. I can understand why and how I got and get left out a lot more now. I’m that bigger girl bc she wasnt as enthusiastic or excited. She was just shy and quiet. And I feel like there have been moments when I’ve been really enthusiastic but no one else agreed with me and I ended up just being the odd one out and felt like such an outsider and like I didn’t belong. :/ I want to really do my best and try my hardest. I do.

I’m also worried that by the time I come back during August, I won’t have grown that much and nothing will feel like it’s changed. I’m just trying to prepare and think as much as I can until then. I almost don’t want to go home at all. I’m so scared that what awaits me is just me feeling like I don’t belong. At first I was sad that I’ll only be home for a few weeks but now I’m thinking that’s all I can handle. I am so afraid that I won’t have grown or learned enough. So much happened this past year that it feels like nothing happened at all. I struggled with alcoholism, depression, anxiety, I lost Marlena and Jakob, I made new friends like Sara and Evelyn too. I had trouble coming to terms with my dad’s mom’s death, my mom’s dad’s death, my whole family dying and everything we own being burned to a crisp. All of my family members and friends getting seriously injured and everything they know and love being destroyed in a great blaze. And hardest of all, I had to come to terms with the very real reality of Robbin passing away and honestly, I still can’t fully believe it. I think once I see his grave again, I’ll actually begin to fully accept it. I really still can’t believe that happened and that’s definitely been the most impactful part of this past year. I knew that this year would be tough but I thought in terms of persecution and that’s something I overcame. I didn’t care about how others would judge me at church or on the streets anymore because I know who I am in God’s eyes. Or at least I’m trying to learn my worth in them. But this? This was on a whole different level. I went home in February for the weekend to attend Robbin’s funeral. I know it was so expensive but it was so worth it be there. It was much needed closure. I remember seeing my dad cry on our way from the airport to his mom’s place. We were both so upset, knowing what a great person Robbin was and how short his life was. He was ten years older than me when he passed away. It’s been over five months, nearly six, since he had a heart attack and I just. Sigh. I really miss you Robbin and I am so sorry that I didn’t do more for you while you were still here. I know it wasn’t my fault but I still can’t help but feel partly responsible and wonder if anything would have changed had I said something. I know what depression feels like and it sucks and I could’ve been there for him but I wasn’t.

But anyways,

I’m here now and I am doing good. I know I am. I am happy that I can. I need to stop procrastinating and be more pro-active and get everything done sooner so that I have more time to relax and not have to worry about things to do the next day. I don’t even feel like typing anymore but I’m not tired either. I might just watch videos because might as well. I’m really not in the mood to shower or was dishes. At least tomorrow is my last day for the week! Woo! I could just take care of those things tomorrow, I suppose. Sigh. I know I shouldn’t be lazy and I definitely have the means and ability to get up and do these things and just get it over with my but I’m really not in the mood. I just want to lay on the floor and cry and wallow in my sorrow. Sigh.

On a brighter note, I saw the Incredible 2 yesterday with Tykira and Jordan and it was so good! I predicted the plot pretty early on so I was worried that that would be the whole movie so I was pleasantly surprised when it wasn’t! C:

I read some old posts in the Guat Squad group the other day while looking for old VBS dance moves and I told Judy that I missed everyone. But honestly, I don’t know if I do. I posted so many times and was so excited to post about reminders and I honestly did trust them and have a good time but not everyone, I guess. Even on the mission field, I was a lot more comfortable talking to Judy, Grace, and Gladys than anyone else on the team. There were moments during training where they did acknowledge me and I felt accepted and like I belonged but for the majority of the time, I don’t think I actually really got along with them. I need to stop trying so hard to fit in and just saying what everyone else is saying and speak the truth instead. It might be “not the right move” but it’s much better to be me and honest than to spend so long trying so hard to fit into a group that will never accept me anyway. I think this is a new goal that I should be working towards. Using my observations to just be blunt and straightforward and honest. I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job doing that with my family and P. Josh so far. I just can’t be afraid to be honest to those around my age either.

I also need to stop judging people for being wealthy and well off. And also for complaining or being greedy or doing a better job at fitting in than I do. I’ve been really frustrated towards Jane recently bc I feel like she just complains all the time and tries so hard to fit in and it annoys me so much bc I try to fit in too. So why does it work for her but not for me? And maybe it’s because I’m fat or not as pretty. Maybe it’s because of what happened in the past. But regardless, I am here. And I want to be unapologetically me.
