Witches

What are witches? They are a type of magic user different from standard magicians: Going back some thousands of years ago, most human societies used magic. It ran out of control eventually, and then, to prevent it from destroying them, they destroyed it first. Some magic communities still remained, and they originated the Nations (secret countries worldwide that have magic, like Onemia). This phenomena of letting go of magic is frequently referred by scholars as "the Spurge". Every society has had their Spurge in different ways and times, but consistently most places in the world have had it. Back to the modern ages, the kind of magic Onemians and other magicians use are derived from the magic their ancestors did, polished over the centuries. However, a new phenomena has been observed by them (even around a millenia ago, actually) of ambue (non-magicians) starting to discover magic again. This new magic is a little different from traditional magic, and it is called witchcraft. These witchcraft magicians are called the witches.

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space* at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.

*yes sorry i mean usage i posted this before bed :( i do not mean the hard drive is full aaaaghhhh

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
