Hey, y'all. DoctorHaifisch, the author of the Danganronpa V3 fanfic Amalgamate here <3
Some of you might've already seen the above video on my TikTok page, but I wanted this thank you message to reach as many Amalgamate fans as possible. I only found out about the fic having the 4th most hits of any DRV3 fic on AO3 a few days ago, and when I was told about it, I couldn't believe it. I went to AO3 to confirm, and that's when I found out about Amalgamate also being #7 in kudos, #4 in bookmarks, and #3 in comments. I'm still completely shocked because I truly didn't realize Amalgamate had reached such a level of notoriety in the DRV3 fanfic community
So, I just want to say thank you to everyone who reads and enjoys Amalgamate. Whether you've only read some of it, read all of it, reread it, left kudos, left comments, or even just sent happy thoughts in the fic's direction, I appreciate you all so much. 2 1/2 years ago, I posted chapter 1 of Amalgamate under the assumption that hardly anyone would even read it, and now there's an audio project, fanart, fan comics, dubs, songs, animatics, fics inspired by Amalgamate, and so much more. It still blows my mind, and not for one second do I ever take any of it for granted.
So truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much <333
Amalgamate changed my life for the better, and I'm so glad it had such a huge impact on so many you too <3

✨ how to use AO3 ✨
Hi besties,
This post is part of an announcement that some of my future fics will be AO3 exclusives; you can learn more here.
I hope my AO3 tutorial is helpful!
Tumblr media
Invitation Requests
AO3 receives thousands of registration requests, so they created an invitation queue. Submit your email address to request an invitation. You'll typically receive a link to create a free account in a few days.
Subscribing
Once you create your account, you can subscribe to your favorite writers! Subscribing to a writer means you'll receive email updates every time the writer posts something on AO3. It's a great way to stay up-to-date on your faves.
Tumblr media
Kudos
The kudos button at the end of a fic is your way of saying, "I liked this!" It's the simplest way of showing appreciation to a writer, so please leave a kudos whenever you enjoy a fic.
Comments
When readers comment on fics, writers' souls ascend to heaven. They think about them, dream about them, want them engraved on their tombstone. One time, someone left me a comment on a PWP that said, "I wish someone would have sex with me like that," and that comment is what boosted my confidence in writing smut (which is something I'm insecure about). Even if your comment is an emoji or something short, like "love this!" writers will giggle and kick their feet.
Tumblr media
Bookmarks
Unlike Tumblr likes, AO3 doesn't keep track of the fics you've left kudos on. Therefore, if you want to keep a fic, bookmark it. You can make your bookmarks public or private.
Filters
Filters allow you to narrow down your results while searching for fics. I recommend playing around with them because they're helpful when looking for a specific tag, trope, etc.
Tumblr media
General Advice
It might be tempting to only read fics with "high stats" - fics with high kudos, comments, bookmarks, and hits (the number of times someone has clicked on the fic). However, high stats don't always equate to high-quality fics. Many writers get little interaction on AO3 but write absolute bangers, but unfortunately, people don't give those fics a chance. Using myself as an example, one of my fics has over 1,600 kudos and over 35k hits. Another one of my fics has 27 kudos and 261 hits. The first fic isn’t any better quality than the second. The first fic has more hits most likely because it’s a popular ship, whereas the second fic is an unpopular ship. It’s all relative.
I think those are the basics! If you have other AO3 questions, feel free to send me an ask.

The final chapter of "Devils roll the dice (Angels roll their eyes)" is up!
Please excuse me while I go cry in a corner about this fic officially being finished, three weeks and 50 000+ words later.
You can read the final chapter, chapter 7, here.
It has been an incredible ride, and I don't even know where to start.
I'm fluent in two languages, I master two more, and I can understand quite a bit of another and yet, I have no words in either language to describe the gratitude I feel to each and every one of you.
I have had so much fun writing every word of this fic, and I'm honestly heartbroken that I've actually finished it. The motivation and inspiration I've felt every second I've spent working on this is unlike anything I've experienced before. And a big reason for that is you guys.
To every person who has read the fic. To every person who has left kudos. To every person who has commented, to every person who has bookmarked. To every person who has subscribed. To every person who has liked and reblogged snippets and other posts related to the fic on Tumblr. To every person who has left me replies and asks. To every single one of you who has shown this fic and me any sort of love in the past three weeks: Thank you. Thank you so, so much.
And a very special thanks to the lovely Ilse, @f1writingbyme, for proofreading the Dutch parts of this chapter and making sure it was worded properly.
You truly have no idea how much each and every one of you means to me, and how much your support and love has meant. I'm going to remember the way you've all helped make me feel during this ride for the rest of my life, and I will cherish it forever.
I love you all so much. ♥

💖, 🤩 and 😁 for the ask game :)
💖 Which of your fics is your pride and joy?
Ohhh, that's hard. They're all so special to me, and I spend so much time working on them! But I would have to say Wave Your World Goodbye - I put so much effort into that fic (24k in 3 weeks), filling it with all my favourite tropes and characters! As well, it was my first ever finished long-fic, so it's got a special place in my heart. 🤩 What's the most meaningful comment you've ever received?
...ooh, well it HAS to be the recent comments left by @loverlylight! they leave so many words, analyzing all the parts of my stories I loved most, and he's so excited about my writing! It's amazing, I screamed when I saw the first one. Light, when you see this, thank you! I hope to write so much more angst for you to read. but a special mention goes the one left on my post-canon TGWLDM fic by @fencecollapsed. I've been following their work since I got into the fandom back in 2018, and to see him comment, bookmark, and kudos my work? I think I had several kinds of heart attacks, honestly. 😁What makes you happiest? New fic comments, kudos, bookmarks, user subscribers, story subscribers, or Tumblr asks?
comments! i love hearing what people think of my work. don't get me wrong, I love kudos, but any sort of comment makes my day for real!

ao3 wrapped fic writer 2023
i know ao3 wrapped for readers is not a thing and frankly as impressive as it would be to see just how many millions of words i have read this past year, i don't know if i need to know just how much i hung around in the devil's sacrament shown back to me, ya know?
so i instead just wanna celebrate and focus on all the writing i was able to do this year up to nov 30 (today). this is just for posted stuff on ao3, obviously my wips folder (aka my lazy susan of drafts) is a different story LOL.
also, super important for me to point out: this is meant for celebration and pride! after having been on hiatus from writing for like 7 years, i'm so happy to be able to get back into writing again. with that said, if the numbers for your ao3 isn't as high as you'd liked, please just know that i'm still very proud that you wrote AND published your work to share with others. it can and does take a lot out of you to write and share freely like this. so if nothing else, you should know that! (and if you haven't written much at all this year for whatever reason, i'm still proud of you! like i said, it's tough sometimes but we should still celebrate ourselves)
if you're a writer and see this and want to play along, feel free to just copy and paste. there's no tagging because i wouldn't wanna put people on the spot/make someone uncomfortable. ok onwards etc etc

Just Leave a Comment Fest Roundup
I definitely read and commented on more than these, but I tracked the @justleaveacommentfest theme day fics, so here they are (apologies if any of the tagged users are incorrect, I went with tumblr names that matched AO3 names):
First Fandom: (X-Men) Don't Hold Me by Spyre
This fic was at the top of the most recently posted section, but had been written more than 20 years ago and only recently posted to AO3, which I thought was very suitable for a first fandom choice! I also know short fics tend to not get as much love, and I was (and remain) the first comment and kudos on this one, so check it out and spread the love!
Bookmark Day: (James Bond) Prowl by @professorfangirl
This has long been in my bookmarks, and was the fic that lured me into the 00Q fandom. This talented author has left fandom as far as I know, but is still irreplaceable and missed.
Old Favorites: (Marvel MCU) Scents and Sensibility by @galwednesday, @silentwalrus, and skellerbvvt
I don't read much in the Stucky fandom, but this amazing little worldbuilding fic is witty and unexpected and tender and absolutely hilarious, and has become one of my go-to comfort reads. Reading it again was an absolute pleasure. If you've put this one aside because the tags seem like not your thing I encourage you to give it a try anyway.
Fandom Curiosity: (Inception) I Could See for Miles, Miles, Miles by VII_XIII
I asked a fandom friend to recommend a fic in a new-to-me fandom and they absolutely came through! This was lovely and sweet and hot and overall a wonderful fic that coincidentally ended more or less around New Year's Eve!

Heya! I think I may have mentioned this to you before years ago, but I love your stories! (Pardon me if I gush) White Lilies absolutely killed me with the angst, but it fits so well with canon, particularly Naruto realizing he's in love with Hinata because he's jealous of another man showing interest in her (since that's literally what happened in The Last, and was confirmed in the movie's official databook). I also love how you don't have Hinata stuttering over her lines in your stories, since in canon she stopped doing that in the Invasion of Pain arc, yet a lot of other fanfic writers, including fellow NH fans, still like to write her as a stutterer, which just regresses her. Please keep up the good work! I can't wait to see what else you'll write! 🥰
I'm starting to think about making my own AO3 account because FF seems to be dying out as of late (my FF moniker is the same as my Tumblr one, although I haven't updated either of my two stories nor my bio in years). I was wondering if you could maybe give me advice or the pros/cons of having an AO3 account? Any help is appreciated as I think about this! 👍🙏
💗💗💗 I'm so glad that you enjoyed White Lilies!!!! About Hinata stuttering, I do write her like that sometimes... Uhhh it depends on how old she is in my fics, but if she's high school age or younger, she sometimes stutters, like in "Last Chance" and "Little Samurai." But yeah, if she's older, I like to think that she is a stronger communicator. Thank you for your enthusiastic support 🥺💖
So about AO3!!!!!!!! ✨I love AO3.✨ I'm so happy with AO3, I don't feel the need to post my fics anywhere else, besides here on Tumblr. I highly recommend getting an account for these reasons:
name familiarity & building community - I love being able to recognize readers. I've been thinking about how writing is a fairly "lonely" type of activity. When I first started writing, I began to recognize the usernames of people who regularly commented or left kudos on my fics, and I just loved those people to pieces. It's just nice to have a sense of familiarity on AO3.
Bookmarking - If you want to save a fic for later, you can bookmark it and make a note of the chapter you left off on. It's a nice feature, especially if you're the type to keep tabs of fics you haven't read yet open. I use Bookmarking as like my personal favorites recommendation list because it's right on my AO3 profile. I also use other people's Bookmarks list to find good fics, and I've read a lot of random pairings in fandoms I'm not a part of due to Bookmarks.
Subscriptions - You can subscribe to a fic so that you get an email when a fic updates. You can also subscribe to users so that you can get an email every single time that writer updates or posts anything.
Archiving - You might want to consider migrating your old fics over to AO3 because it has a whole legal team and successful fundraising efforts to preserve your work, even if you might think your old fics aren't worth reposting. AO3 has so much strong, passionate support, there's very little chance of AO3 disappearing.
Preferences - You can customize AO3. So you can turn off the warning banners that always pop up on mature-rated fics and control what you receive email notifs for. You can also set a Site Skin from the AO3 options and the user-created ones, like the rainbow pink one I'm currently using. It just makes life that much happier. You can use all sorts of Site Skins that change the color of the background, change the text font to be easier to read, or hide your hit counts and other stats to protect your sanity as a writer.
History - Your account will keep track of all the fics you've read, so if you're looking for something you can find it again. Also, it's just interesting, but it will also tell you how many times you've visited that particular fic. Uhh apparently I've visited "21 Days" by BunnyHoodlum 455 times :D That must be partially because I've recommended it so many times.
Mark for Later - Besides subscribing or bookmarking, you can click a button that marks the fic for later. You would find this list on your History page. It tells you when you last visited the fic and whether there's been any changes to the fic since you last read it. So this is another cool way to keep track of all of the fics you're reading.
I've never posted on any other fanfiction site, so I can't compare, but I love how organized AO3 feels. The tagging system is to-die-for.
I love the posting features, like posting under different Pseudonyms, setting a fic as part of a series, linking in an inspired-by work, or gifting a fic to someone. I feel like AO3 put a lot into consideration so that it is user-friendly.
Another thing that writers can do is post challenges/claim challenges. I've never done this, but Sessakag has recently written for VulgarAssassin's prompts! This is one way that AO3 encourages community.
Another amazing thing that AO3 has is the ability to distance yourself from your own fics. You can orphan your own fic so that it is no longer linked to your page but will still be on AO3. The only problem is that you can't get it back. You can also add your fic to an anonymous collection, and I think if you ever wanted to, you could take off the anonymous hat and reveal yourself as the writer. I've never done this.
When I was considering cross-posting on ffnet and wattpad, people told me that I would reach way more people because people use those sites more. I mostly decided not to cross-post because I can't rationalize the extra work to upkeep multiple accounts and respond to comments. So perhaps the only downside to creating an AO3 account is that you'd have more accounts to manage and the platform has a smaller audience.
I hope you create an AO3 account!!!!!! I hope everyone makes an AO3 account!!! It's such a well-run site!!

Doctor Who Fic Self Rec List
I'm on Tumblr 80% for the Good Omens stuff and 20% for intensely nerdy academic meta analysis discourse of fan culture BUT I want to give my Doctor Who fics a little love as well. These are all pretty canon-compliant or post-canon G/T -- basically trying to write some episodes and one shots.

No Archive Warnings Apply, Fourteenth Doctor/River Song, Fourteenth Doctor (Doctor Who), Shaun Temple, River Song, Jack Harkness, Melody Pond, Shadow Proclamation, The Shadow Architect (Doctor Who), Canon Compliant, Fun, Light Angst, Minor Violence, Suicidal Thoughts
Summary
Shaun was absolutely not afraid of the blue box in the garden. Not one bit. Even if he was choosing to stand as far away as physically possible when knocking gently on the door. Ok, maybe not really “knocking” so much as tapping gently with the very tip of his fingers. Maybe “tapping” might actually be too strong a word. But that didn’t mean he was scared. Just, no need to get any closer. This was fine. What could possibly go wrong? A lot, it turns out. And Shaun is thrown into the middle as the Doctor encounters people from his past-- friends and foes-- and tries to preserve their future.

Ao3 Tips and Tricks
So I thought I would make a post about some cool stuff you can do with Ao3 and userscripts, and some tips I’ve learned from setting them up for myself! I promise it's not hard, though this is a lot of info. I'm happy to help if I can.
What You’ll Need:
First, you will need the Tampermonkey extension for your browser (depending on what browser you use, Greasemonkey is the equivalent). On Android, you can even run Chrome extensions on mobile with Kiwi Browser! It is easiest to configure the scripts on your desktop and then sync to mobile with Tampermonkey’s cloud sync feature or by exporting the configured scripts and importing in your mobile browser (I will explain how to do this later in the post). If you use any of the tweaks I outline below, be sure to backup your scripts in case your settings are lost.
Once you have Tampermonkey installed, you can get scripts from GreasyFork. The inimitable @flamebyrd also has some great scripts and bookmarklets and has been incredibly helpful while I figured all this out.
Find a script that looks interesting, click on it, and then click “install this script.” Pretty straightforward. Once you have it installed, you can go to Tampermonkey to configure it (only necessary for some scripts) by clicking on the Tampermonkey extension icon in your browser (under the three dot menu in Kiwi) and clicking “dashboard”, then clicking the edit icon next to the script you want to configure. When you’re done, click File->Save.
Scripts and instructions under the cut
Some of my favorites:
Flamebyrd’s Incomplete Works script - fades out WIPs on works listings, and displays the work stats (wordcount, chapters, etc) in red on single works to make it more obvious that they’re WIPs as you’re browsing:
Tumblr media
Flamebyrd’s Ao3 to Pinboard bookmarklet/script - if you click the bookmarklet while on a work’s page, it opens the Pinboard save screen and prefills the title, tags, description, word count, etc, and adds ?view_full_work=true&view_adult=true to the URL so Pinboard’s archiver will archive the complete work and not the adult content warning screen (note that Pinboard still cannot correctly archive works locked to Ao3 users, so you may want to download them as a backup. I’ve asked him about fixing that.), based on your selections when configuring the bookmarklet on the linked page. If you use the userscript, it adds a button to the works listings page so you don’t even have to open the work to save it:
Tumblr media
I tweaked this script so that it only grabs the first pairing tag, since I don’t typically care about secondary pairings and they were clogging up my Pinboard tags. It’s a simple fix (though I know nothing about coding so I had to do some googling and inspect-sourcing; kinda proud of myself tbh):
Just change this part of the script
if ( options.relationship_include ) {
- $(".relationships a.tag", $work).each(function () {
To this
if ( options.relationship_include ) {
- $(".relationships a.tag:first", $work).each(function () {
I also found this cool mobile-optimized Pinboard bookmarklet called Pincushion and combined it with Flamebyrd’s script. Everything works except the auto-tagging, but I’ve reached out on GitHub to see if he can help (according to Flamebyrd, there’s no tag field ID attribute to map to). However, this bookmarklet has tagging autocomplete features that make it easy to tag manually. For example, if you type “steve 21st” it will suggest “steverogersvsthe21stcentury” rather than having to type out “steverogersvs…” in order for it to autocomplete like it does on the regular Pinboard bookmarklet. I actually have two buttons set up (which you can see in the next screenshot) - Flamebyrd's to quickly grab the tags and close without me having to do anything, and then the Pincushion one to quickly edit the tags. If anyone's interested, I can explain how to do that.
To combine Pincushion with Flamebyrd’s script (so it works from the Ao3 works listings page as mentioned above), simply change this part of Flamebyrd’s script:
t = t.split(" ").join( options.space_replacement );
var pb_url = "https://pinboard.in/add?url=" + encodeURIComponent(q) + "&description=" + encodeURIComponent(d) + "&title=" + encodeURIComponent(p) + "&tags=" + encodeURIComponent(t);
void(open(pb_url, "Pinboard", "toolbar=no,width=700,height=350"));
To this
t = t.split(" ").join( options.space_replacement );
var pb_url = "https://rossshannon.github.io/pincushion/?user=YOURUSERNAME&token=YOURAPITOKEN&url=" + encodeURIComponent(q) + "&description=" + encodeURIComponent(d) + "&title=" + encodeURIComponent(p) + "&tags=" + encodeURIComponent(t);
void(open(pb_url, "Pinboard", "toolbar=yes,width=600,height=700,left=50,top=50"));
You’ll need to get your API Token from your Pinboard account and plug it in where it says YOURUSERNAME and YOURAPITOKEN (number part only) above.
FanFictionNavigator - mark fics as Like/Dislike/Mark/InLibrary, highlight with colors based on which option you select, hide/show based on category, like/dislike author and highlight with color. Only you will see how you've marked things.
You can tweak the colors for the highlighting by configuring the script (I find the default colors make the text hard to read because I use the Reversi skin on Ao3 for white-ish text on a gray background). I also changed it so that when I click “hide likes” it only hides liked fics and not liked authors (i.e. hides fics I’ve read, but not unread fics by authors I like), changed the color of the like/dislike/etc links to match the highlighting color and to show up better, and changed the way it highlights authors (I think the default is bold/strikethrough which doesn't really catch my eye. I changed it to highlight the author name in red/green):
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Here are my configured scripts if you’d like to use them instead of tweaking yourself (you need to install both):
FanFictionNavigator
FanFictionNavigator - Colors
Note: Your settings for this script will sync via Tampermonkey but not your data (i.e. fics you’ve liked/marked/etc). If you ever switch between browsers, you’ll need to go to your Ao3 Dashboard and click FFNOptions, export your data, then go through the same process to import it into the new browser.
AO3: Kudosed and seen history - highlight or hide works you kudosed/bookmarked/marked as seen. If you want to use this with FanFictionNavigator, you’ll need to turn off “highlight bookmarks” from the settings under the “Seen Works” dropdown that gets added to your Ao3 navbar or FFN’s colors won’t show. Again, data doesn’t sync between browsers but you can copy it from the dropdown settings. However, it pulls your kudosed and bookmarked fics from Ao3 itself, so that will always show. It's just seen/skipped that doesn't sync:
Tumblr media
Ao3 download buttons - adds a download button to the works listings page so you don’t have to open the fic to download it. However, it also doesn’t play nicely with FFN’s colors, so I’m using AO3 Review + Last Chapter Shortcut + Kudos-sortable Bookmarks script which also has a download button that works with FFN (a small down arrow next to the author name). The download button doesn’t work as-is from that link, so here’s my tweaked version based off of this comment. You can configure what format you want it to download by default in the script. There’s also a tweak in the comments to fix kudos-sorting, but it overloads Ao3 and you get a “retry later” error for a few minutes when you try to open Ao3, so I don’t recommend it. I don’t know if any of the other functionalities of the script work because I don’t use them, but it looks like there are tweak suggestions in other comments you can try:
Tumblr media
I was using Ao3 Replace Words to replace words in fics that bug me but I realized it wasn’t working on mobile, so I’m using zensurf instead which is not Ao3-specific but works basically the same way. If you want to limit it to just Ao3 (so it doesn’t change words on non-fic sites), just add this
// @include http://archiveofourown.org/*
// @include https://archiveofourown.org/*
Above this line
// ==/UserScript==
(function() {
You can // @include other fic sites like ffnet that way too.
AO3: Links to Last Chapter and Entire Works does what it says on the tin, but the creator was kind enough to give me a code snippet to add that makes the “E” (for Entire Work) appear next to all works and add ?view_full_work=true&view_adult=true to the work URL so that I can easily right-click and share to Instapaper and have it be saved correctly (not just the first chapter but the whole work + not the content warning screen for NR/M/E works). Here is the script with this tweak applied:
Tumblr media
I think those are the only ones that I’ve done special tweaks for. Here are some others that I find useful that either don’t require any configuration, or should be pretty straightforward to configure and are explained on the script page.
AO3 author+tags quick-search - doesn’t require configuration
Generates quick links from AO3 fics to more by the same author in the same fandom (or character/pairing/any other tag):
Tumblr media
Remove leading spaces in AO3 - doesn’t require config
Removes the leading indents for paragraphs in AO3 works.
Ao3 Only Show Primary Pairing - you have to enter the pairings you want in the script, and you can change how early in the sequence they must appear before the work is hidden. Also works with character tags.
Hides works where specified pairing isn't the first listed. Hidden works show a placeholder that you can click to unhide:
Tumblr media
AO3: highlight tags - have to enter the tags you want highlighted, as well as the color you want. It matches case so you may have to enter both “Dog” and “dog”, for example.
Configure tags to be highlighted with different colors. This makes a tag more obvious to your eye when browsing. I use it to highlight things I’m wary of in red so I don’t miss them and start reading a fic I might not want.
AO3: Tag Hider - configure how many tags you want to see before it hides them
Hide tags automatically when there are too many tags. Add hide/show tags button to browsing page and reading page.
AO3 Remove Double-Spacing - no config
Removes awkward double spaces between paragraphs on AO3. Doesn’t smush together paragraphs that have a single line break - it leaves those alone.
ao3 series collapser - no config
Collapse works that are later than part 1 of a series. Leaves a placeholder so you can uncollapse if you want to see it.
AO3 Blocker - no config, but you enter what you want to block from the added navbar dropdown in Ao3
Fork of ao3 savior; blocks works based on certain conditions. I find this simpler to use than Ao3 savior.
FYI there are also style scripts for Pinboard on greasyfork and userstyles.org (this site is slow af for some reason, so be patient while it loads). I use show unread bookmarks more clearly and Modern Pinboard Style (basically a dark mode). Neither require config unless you just want to tweak the settings to your liking. To install to Tampermonkey from userstyles, scroll down to “Install style as userscript”.
I also use these extensions in Kiwi:
Ao3rdr - Adds a star rating system (pictured in some of the screenshots above) to Ao3 works that only you can see. This one will sync your data between devices if you use the cloud sync option, which I recommend so you don’t lose your data if something happens to your device or browser.
Dark Reader - not really necessary for Ao3 if you use Reversi skin, but does make all browser pages dark mode if you want it on sites other than Ao3.
Speaking of Ao3 skins, I have another one set up in conjunction with Reversi that shows all the fandoms on a user’s profile, rather than having to click “expand”:
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, I can’t remember where I found this. To set it up yourself, go to your Ao3 -> Dashboard -> Skins -> Create Site Skin, fill in the Title (has to be unique), and paste the code below in the CSS box:
#user-fandoms ol.index {
padding-bottom: 0;
text-align: center;
}
#user-fandoms ol.index li {
display: inline;
margin-right: .5em;
line-height: 2.15em;
}
#user-fandoms ol#fandom_full_list {
padding-top: 0;
padding-bottom: 1.5em;
display: block !important;
}
#user-fandoms p.actions {
display: none;
}
Then hit Submit -> Use. There are ways to hide or highlight various elements (ships, characters, blurbs, work stats, etc) on a works listing page using skins on Ao3. This is getting long so I’m not going to go into that, but I’m happy to help if you want to try it. It’s very easy.
Once you have everything configured on Tampermonkey on your desktop, you can migrate it to your mobile device in one of two ways:
Option 1: Go to Tampermonkey settings and change Config Mode to Advanced
Go down to Script Sync and select your preferred cloud service and save
It will ask you to log in to said cloud service
Install Tampermonkey in Kiwi and do the same thing
Wait for it to sync (this can be slow)
It should sync any changes you make moving forward, but again, it’s slow
Option 2: go to Utilities and check all 3 checkboxes under general (include script storage, include Tampermonkey settings, include external script resources)
Either export to your preferred cloud service or
Export as a zip file, move it to your mobile device, go to this same screen and import
I would recommend exporting as a zip for a backup even if you don’t use it to migrate your scripts
You can unzip and upload individual script files (.js) on this page if you ever need to reinstall a single script with your settings instead of all of them
Let me know if you run into any issues and I can try to help! The script writers are also super nice and helpful if you reach out to them. Yay fandom!

[[[look away -- I'm EMOTIONAL and just need to vent my embarrassing sappiness somewhere ]]]
My big bang fic has been up for 36 hours and it already has 367 hits, 27 kudos, and 16 bookmarks. My fic post has more notes than I have followers. By a lot of people's standards this is nothing, but by my standards it's genuinely shocking. I wrote this fic entirely for myself and had kind of counted on being the only reader.
When I decided I was going to write this I was stuck in the middle of one of the worst depressive episodes I've ever gone through and I was completely floundering. I needed something that I could use as an escape, something fun and entertaining and comforting, some little world I could build for myself and crawl into when I needed to turn my brain off. Writing had been that for me when I was growing up but, paradoxically, as I got older and my mental health got worse I started drifting away from it. By the time I set my mind to writing this fic I hadn't completed a project that wasn't required for school or work in almost eight years. So I decided I was going to write this fic, and I was going to finish this fic, and I was going to publish this fic, and if those three things happened it would be a success.
I signed up for the big bang for accountability, otherwise it would be just another half done project languishing in my google drive. I also signed up for the big bang because I knew I'd need a kick in the ass to accomplish the "publish the fic" part of my goal, I needed to be unable to wimp out. I came to this fandom when I was 15 years old, a few months after Harry's first X-Factor audition aired. Between 2010 and 2016 I was SUPER active on here and on Twitter. Then in 2016 I started law school, scrubbed the internet of my fandom presence, and spent 4 years lurking silently. In those early years I did a lot of writing, little passion projects that I really enjoyed and was really proud of, but for the most part I was too scared to post any of it anywhere. The few things I did work up the courage to publish I orphaned almost immediately.
I was SO convinced I wasn't "good enough" and that I would "embarrass myself" by posting something that didn't immediately become fandom famous. I let it stand in the way of an activity that had once brought me a great deal of joy. I didn't want that to happen here, I didn't want to spend all this time creating a work I was really proud of and whose creation I found a lot of comfort in only to post it and get so in my head about the metrics that I soured the whole experience for myself. So I did A LOT of work with my therapist on letting go of any expectations and writing (actually, physically writing down) my own definitions for success in this scenario. By the time my posting date was coming up I had gotten myself to the point where I can say with total honesty that if I had not gotten one single hit I still would be proud of the fic I wrote, and I'd still be planning to write (and finish and publish!!!) the sequel (the 2018 leg) and the 2 one shots (set in the break between legs) that I already have planned.
But now it is getting hits, and it is getting kudos and bookmarks and comments, and a few people have left reviews in the tags of their fics post reblogs, and with every single one my heart just soars. Not because I'm "successful" now or because this must mean I'm "good enough" but because the comments I've gotten have been about the comfort and the joy that other people got from reading it. The idea that my little fic, this little passion project I wrote quite literally as a way to keep myself safe, might be providing a similar escape to anyone else, is overwhelming. I feel so honored to provide that for anyone else who may need it.
So if you've read my big bang fic (and managed to read this entire novella), thank you. Thank you for taking the time to look into a fic written by an unknown author when there are so many people putting out so much great content every day. And if you've left me kudos or reblogged or liked my post, thank you. And if you've commented thank you isn't enough, but I'll say it anyway - thank you. If you feel like subscribing I'll have two one shots and a second part up soon, and I'm participating in two more fests this summer and fall. And if you don't that's also fine, those are just for me, too.
