AS a Texan and someone WITH a drawl, I LOVE it when you can tell actors did their work when it comes to the accent. (And here in Tx theres like 6 different regional accents and its the CORRECT one for the Dallas/Austin area!) like it’s the same I’d imagine for Brits or Australians when someone doesnt just default to Stereotypical British and actually does the right one. It just makes the character-details part of my brain SING. It just shows a lot of care for the character

like I dont understand people like “she got tougher over the story” No. She got more TRAUMATIZED and yes got more capable at fighting. But she STARTS OUT hard and tough and SOFTENS. technically speaking Tess and Joel's relationship didnt NEED more screentime, you knew exactly their relationship with what we got but I love these new/expanded scenes with them

“What are they capable of?” going back to what I said before: Ellie is still a KID. She talks and acts tough (and she is!) and she grew up at the end of the world but shes still a KID who lived her whole 14 years in a military school and got pinged by Marlene the second she left. And it becomes more clear if you know HOW she got infected...she doesnt know ANYTHING about what the world is like outside the QZ. And thats the most heartbreaking part of the story is her going through those horrors. It’s why her and Joel’s relationship is important add to that that shes LITERALLY in the middle of everyone looking back and forth and being traded and called cargo shes CLUELESS and I wanna hug her

“code broken” that was SO MEAN but I love it and Joel was about to dad lecture but AGAIN Bella NAILED Ellie’s mannerisms, the way she draws out words or the little head tilts

“Holy shit Im actually outside” AGAIN. the childish excitement. because shes a kid seeing something new and has no clue how serious things are about to get

okay so i posted chapter one already, im currently writing chapter four (i like to write ahead lmao). i have the concept planned out already, ive been planning this fic since like september or something dkdndkdk

so basically, it's a human, high school setting au where tugger is the main character and most of the POVs focus on him, however other characters, especially misto, will have their times to shine and stuff like that

tugger is 17 in age, a junior in high school. his basic mindset is that he feels like it doesnt matter what his future looks like because what's the point? (he struggles with that burnout yknow). he fucks around a lot, he has a habit of appearing at schools at the most latest times (like period 2 would be starting) or he doesnt even show up at all. he flirts with like literally anyone who wants attention from him. he doesn't give attention to anyone else, people have to come up to him. he never does his assignments, barely pays attention in class, he just doesnt care anymore and he's fine with that mindset. munkustrap is the one who succeeds so what's in it for him? he doesnt wanna become a carbon copy of munk or his dad.

misto is 16 years in age, he's a new kid in the school. victoria is his sister who's a year younger than him. he's shy, quiet, prefers to be alone and feels uncomfortable if a group of loud people are surrounding him. he has trouble reading social cues and doesn't really have much feeling for conversation (very much deadpan humor for him). tugger immediately finds him interesting. is it the eyes? is it the fact that misto literally did not notice tugger's presence for like 5 minutes? tugger knows that there's some secret that he's hiding. how come this kid who went to one of the top private schools in the county is now attending a public school? there's a certain something about misto and tugger can't put his finger on it.

later in the story, the plot will progress to the production of the spring musical which is run and directed by munkustrap with alonzo as the choreographer and demeter as the music director. at the same time, tugger's feelings about misto will progress and eventually, misto will fall for him too. i really want to focus this fic on bonding and getting together, really forming a close relationship before the feelings really start to show, im so excited to write about tugger and misto's story in this fic! there will also be side plots about bombalurina and cassandra getting together, munkustrap and demeter's relationship, victoria and plato getting together, hidden feelings from tumblebrutus, hidden feelings from alonzo, and much more!

macavity will also be a crucial factor in this fic in regards to both misto and tugger's past and present. there's also some things im keeping secret for later chapters!!

(please be warned though that later chapters will be heavy in terms of dark topics, suggestive themes, of course, i will put the warnings ahead of time. i always love to sprinkle a bit of angst into my silly little stories)

i plan to post chapter 2 soon! and i hope you all like the character designs i made for them, ive been so excited to post this fic, tuggoffelees is my entire brain rn and i cant think of anything else.

jenny, jelly, and asparagus are teachers in the school, gus is the principal. old deuteronomy founded the school and also owns the community theater in the town. jenny and skimble are married, jerrie and teazer are their kids. skimble is a traveling train conductor, we'll see him later in the fic. bustopher jones is misto and victoria's father, he owns several country clubs. old deuteronomy travels around the world to help produce shows and to spread the love and joy of performing arts, tugger and munk barely get to see him.

other characters like bill bailey, george, gilbert, and so on are also present in this fic but theyre more or less in the bg

Got some points to share :) What i dont understand the most is the fandom's hypocrisy of demanding emmy to be so accommodating to will despite her circumstances (even in the present) as if he was not one of the MOST PRIVILEGED WHITE MAN in his town or county, and most of the shit he got into was his own fault. He had old money WEALTH. Old. Money. Wealth. And he was also supported by the society AND institution, how is the fandom making him look like HE was the one who suffered most here? So much wealth that emmy didnt have, and yet he never spent a single cent to contact her again even after he saw her bruised and bloodied, yet the fandom expected her to come back to him? Like this guy prioritised his hurt feelings over her rejection rather than her ACTUAL HEALTH AND SAFETY knowing that nobody in that town gave a fuck about her at all. Will can spend all his inheritance and his mommy and daddys money on booze, alcohol, parties, sex parties, women, escort services, big cars, helicopter rides, YET he couldnt be there for emmy? Not even a call? A free email? Right. Sorry, but emory scott always deserves better to me, not will grayson. If i was emory, i woudve hurt her more ngl, im kinda vengeful with whiny bitches like will grayson. I cant stand him. I just knew that the reason why this fandom likes to pile on emmy because: 1. she admitted her fault and took responsibility of her actions unlike will, 2. She made it clear he didnt owe her anything (even when will himself said he shouldve staye) and didnt think she was entitled to will unlike will to emmy, 3. Its easier to sympathise over a sad white privileged guy after everything he did or didnt do to "his woman" because RoMaNce where if they can read about him simping about her in his mind, he was immediately ABSOLVED OF ALL GUILT AND WRONGDOINGS TO EMMY. But the devils night fandom is not ready for this take. Also because 4. when they said they like dark romance, they can only take shitty men like michael and damon, but hate it when the sex and gender was the opposite. My point is, its dark romance, if will can be shit, why cant emmy? Period. I dont even care if they get even at that point.

Thanks to this fandom, i thought about alex, this useless side character more than i had to so i had to. I'm also an alex hater through and through and i agree with a lot of anon and your points about alex here. In fact, i love the alex slander actually because putting aside some valid criticisms about how a lot of twitter dn fans are just misogynistic towards her because of their bias towards emmy, there are actually a lot of valid points why alexs character was just icky and you and that anon are the only ones that i have seen so far that have the same take as me. They like to dismiss our takes with "oh its an emory scott fans thats why, its the jealousy" like huh? First of all, why didnt yall talk about wills hypocrisy of sleeping around with everyone in a skirt but was jealous as fuck of damon and aydin bonds with emmy? Yeah, right. Second of all, even emory can be rational when willalex were giving her shit, just because emmy was emotional in those moments, doesnt mean she was irrational. She was literally kidnapped to an abandoned island with no one there to help her and will made it clear he didnt give a fuck about her and reminded her how she was nothing to him. Alex who was supposedly her "friend" wanted her to stay and help will as if she had no other job and responsibilities outside of will. Why would she stay? Shes not even rich, she gotta go back home and pay her bills. Stupid argument honestly. Tbh, My dislike for alex was not even because of her relationship with Will. They both owed emmy nothing, even em knew this. A big part of the fandom hates alex because of this willalexs take but i personally dont agree with this take tbh. Instead of blaming alex on this, the argument between alexemmy started because it was on will, and even aydin to a certain extent, for being a fucking loser of a man, and for pitting two women against each other.

But i also wanna just say to these people who defended alex palmer so much: lets not act as if alex never had a history of laughing at other women when SHE was being put on a pedestal, instead of someone else (especially with michael to rika in corrupt, and damon to winter in kill switch) either. Like rika, banks, winter, and alexs relationship started with misogyny. LIKE LITERALLY. Only alexemmys relationship started with a bonding OUTSIDE of being pitted against one another no matter how weird the circumstances was. Even then, theyre still just on acquaintances level yk. And i feel like alex felt challenged and angry at emmy in nightfall because she thought emmy was better than her (alex chose to believe because her shallow world had not allowed her to think about anything else as long as it justified her anger. She also probably was jealous and look at emmys situation and think emmy didnt have to do anything but all these men were going to jail for her, suddenly being her brothers and protective of her, bonding with the guys or smth like that, and later have access to so much wealth, ad compared to her who had been an escort etc., yet still she had nothing. Its totally irrationally personal, her anger towards emmy was not rational at all). Its the jealousy and inferiority speaking tbh.

Look at the way aydins ex, rika, banks, thunders bay people etc. talk to her? Like shit. Whether its in front or behind her back. Now did this misogyny happened for alexemmy's friendship? Nope! Best girl Emory Scott thats right! Even rika, banks and winter had slutshamed alex and other women with various degrees, but look at the way emmy talk about sex workers? (These girls too grew up with so much isogyny so understandably, they had to unlearn and relearn a lot. Theyre so different in nightfall, love that for them tbh). Like heavens and earth and i think its easier for people like alex to accept being treated like shit because unhealthy female relationship and rivalry was what she was always used to, and she always had to be the person to initiate being the "cool girl who'll just roll with everything", especially with her relationship with banks) that when she found a healthy and supportive female friend that didnt start like shit, and would ACTUALLY take her side instead of their man (will or aydin), she was kinda shocked and became stupid, not knowing how to react to it in a kinder manner. Its like a defense mechanism. Alex never rose her voice to rika, banks and winter, unlike what she did to emmy and its because she probably never felt challenged by them because their men still paid for her services so what can these women do much to her really + she never saw aydin took interest in them like he did with emmy (disregarding the manipulation aside, im trying to make people understand her possible pov). This is why woman should have healthy female relationships! No one wants to be like corrupt rika, pre-marriage banks/ winter and nightfall alex! No one wants to admit that alex too, just everyone else, had internalised misogyny. I dont think anyone ever noticed the nuances really, alex hid it too well, but it shone through in her lowest moments unlike emmy. Because when emmy was at her lowest, she never humiliate alex to step on her like what alex did to emmy in blackchurch or on the train, but emmy straight up attack will (verbally) because why would she attack alex? Will was the one who hurt emmy not alex. But aydin attacked alex, and its emmys fault that alexs man was shitty? She was so wrong for that. Emmy never even shame her throughout nightfall, so this only highlights how different emmy's character in this series. Ngl, i think only Emory is the true girls' girls in this series. *Side note, Alexaydin, sigh... such fucking cowards this couple tbh.

Wasnt it also mentioned in conclave that alex had a fall out with her ex's roommate and then she was labelled "the slut" as if the three of them were not being stupid horny college students together, but alex was the only person who be the bad guy. That must have caused a lot of resentment in her because then she just became an escort not only to support her education and lifestyle, but also to use it against aydin. How does that even compare to emmy's pain, honestly! Theyre literally not the same and the fandom always like to dismiss em's pain just because em looked at her highly even when the text in the books shows otherwise. Alex couldve quit her job anytime now, she didnt need the money anymore, she did it for personal fun, sexual liberation and revenge against aydin. And now that when she went through the SAME THING that she did to other women by laughing at them and got treated like shit back, wow suddenly, emmys seen as a bitch? Huh? Emmy never even laughed at her face or looked down on her unlike others, not even once in nightfall unlike rika, banks or even winter, so i believe alexs stupid shit in nightfall was really out of inferiority complex and jealousy. Like "shes better than me thats why i had to put her down" kinda complex. The hypocrisy was too much but i dont think anyone really noticed this. Thats why alexs character was shit to me because her arc was so??? Where did this misogyny came from? But then when i think again and piece her story from the start, it made sense because to a certain extent, alex probably had looked down at all these rich people (including women bcs if her ex roommate) with their rich problems and then she met emmy, who didnt fit in with these stereotypes she had about people of thunder bay, and she had heard a lot of good things about em from will prob, so her sex worker card that she likes to use against these people suddenly dont work anymore because she realised that she wasnt the only one suffering. She cant best her, so in her moment of anger, she had to step over emmy in front of everyone but really, it just proves how nasty of a person she is and shownhow ugly her jealousy can be. Thats why she couldnt argue back with emmy after. She fucked up, but no one really noticed this because her misogyny wasnt so blatant like those in corrupt, hideaway and kill switch. What i also dont understand is how she always talk as if she was a victim EVERY. DAMN. TIME. Her speeches in corrupt, conclave and nightfall just solidified alexs characterisation. I cant stand her tbh, all of alexrika conversations really rot my brain lmao, because they always give these two stupid friends talking about eveyrthing and nothing vibes.

Since this is dark romance, i can understand if pd wants to put a character like alex, or any women really to be shit, but alexs fans didnt have to act like the annoyance towards her was because people cant stand willalex, as if alex herself was a snow white who can do no wrong or something, when she was proven that she did, was shitty sometimes. Like her mary sue character was even worse than rika 😭🤣 And the thing is, if everyone, even emmy, was so morally righteous, none of them would be the horsemens family. The fact that these women are their partners, everyones already guilty just by association, like what emmy said to alex in the train. So why put alex or anyone from dn, on such a high pedestal so much? (Alex is kinda Like kai in her morally right shit, but she just got more fleck for it). Even i admit that emmy wasnt always a nice girl either but i wasnt delusional like alex and her fans tbh. Ugh, so annoying. Hopefully the bonus contents we're gonna get by pd soon only has exclusive willemmy contents for willemmy. or i will riot!!

Yeah, some of the readers need to re-evaluate their perspective. But I really don’t want to convince anyone to see things my way so…

hopefully they stay wherever they’re at. As I’ve said before, I haven’t involved myself with any of the discourse or in-fighting in the fandom, so I’m not sure what they’re arguing over, but it sounds like a waste of energy and time. I mean, I get it’s willemmy vs willalex, but…like. Ugh could you imagine making that the center of your fandom experience? Horrible.

You make a good point about the start of the friendship between Alex and Emory. I’ve never been…happy (?) with how it started, because it involved Alex making a whole lot of assumptions about Emory and being right…because she’s Alex and she’s always right…of course. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be Alex. And then to have that be the one night they spend with each other, and suddenly Alex understands Emory like no one else. She gets her.

The idea that Alex couldn’t process anything that challenged her justifications for her anger because that would mean she’s wrong about something. It would be an actual flaw on her part. And that her feelings for Emory were borne a bit of jealousy. I’d have like if her character and went farther in that direction.

I think for my part, I always considered Alex’s main motive toward Emory was knowing that Will was still in love with her and that Emory had the power and ability to hurt him as she had before. She was protective of Will – “her reflection.” It’s nice to see another possibility/side of it. You make a good point. I guess I never considered Alex feeling inferior to Emory. Emory’s background being different from the people she’s surrounded herself with, to then see Emory rise above that and carry on, leaving Will behind like she probably saw Aydin rejecting her, and suddenly seeing the way Will and Aydin react to Emory might have made her feel small and like a stand-in, which she is for so many.

I agree that it’s a little out of bounds to compare Alex’s pain with Emory’s.

You said she couldn’t argue back with Emory and I’m not sure of the moment you’re talking about but the first thing that came to mind was “that’s my shirt”…like, girl. Girl. Are we being that pathetic right now? But yeah. Alex’s “justified” anger was weak. And her framing herself as the victim was annoying.

“If everyone, even emmy, was so morally righteous, none of them would be the horsemen’s family.” Yeah, exactly.

I had to put the book down and take a deep breath with Rika said “I had to remind myself we weren’t really criminals.” Or something like that. Excuse me, ma’am, but what? You’re not what now? Have you not been paying attention? You cannot erase the last three-to-four years.

Alex is like Kai in her moral superiority is not a take I thought I’d ever see but…there it is. Nice to see they have something in common.

Great time to become deeply concerned and anxious about how life is rn and contemplating just quitting everything so I can focus on Not being exposed to The Rona Bc I’ve realized the number of cases in my county are steadily rising and it’ll probably have a sharp increase with the coming of all the new students (even requiring tests isn’t going to stop them from bringing it, tests are an imperfect system and they can Always pick it up in the time since taking it)

I’m already heavily considering dropping out of school for the semester (a decision supported by the knowledge that they Already have busted a big college party, an indication that my fellow peers will Not be responsible like they want them to be). I need money but like.

I’m scared, man.

I’ve got some savings to fall back on and people I could turn to if I needed help. I Could survive for a few months at least. But it’s not a long term solution. I can’t do that forever. But this virus, it’s not going away. I can’t just Not Work for the entirety of the time it’s here, because it’s not going away. I can’t depend on my government to help me not work so that I can be Safe. All they care about is money.

So I’m stuck. I’m stuck having to ride the bus almost every day, surrounded by people who don’t give a shit. Surrounded by people who, even after a government mandate on masks, still refuse to wear them or wear them shittily. I’m forced to walk past person after person on the streets who don’t have any mask on at all. Person after person who’s been to fucking restaurants and whatever else, because they don’t Care.

I’m stuck interacting with this world that’s dangerous to even be out in. And I am deeply afraid.

#speculation nation #coronavirus ment/#school required virus tests and mine came back negative #i took it last week. that’s whatever #but one of my coworkers told me today that her roommate tested positive. so even though theyve been socially distancing and we have been too #there’s still that risk.#and that risk is going to follow me every single moment that i step outside my front door #it’s not safe. none of this is safe. and so few people seem to care.#im feeling crushed under it. the despair of a society that doesnt care.#our government doesnt care about us. so many of our people dont care either.#they think theyre invincible. up until when they catch it.#and by that time theyve doubtlessly infected who knows how many others. since they decided to go out into public without a mask #and the cycle continues.#22 Million people worldwide. and 5.6 million of those are from the US #i remember when i was freaking out about 500 cases in indianapolis. now theres 1300 ish in my county alone.#it’s not a big county. and that number is only going to get worse.#and ive had a weird feeling in my throat this evening and it’s probably nothing #but theres always that fear of What If. What if this time is it? what if ive caught it?#what if im going to go through months of suffering? what if im going to obtain permanent lung damage?#and if i catch it my partner will catch it. if they catch it then i will catch it.#and that scares me too. im scared of catching it and passing it on. and im scared of it being passed on to me #i just dont know what to do. the life i need to live isnt sustainable.#but if you think about it. neither is the one i have been living.#eventually. i feel like ill catch it.#even being so so careful. even wearing a mask. constantly washing my hands. staying away from people as much as possible #my mask isnt invincible. it’s more for the protection of others than myself #but when the others dont bother to protect Me. my luck will run out.#if i keep going out i am going to catch it. i just know it.#but what else am i supposed to do?

ive never been to jail but i had a roommate that did and the incident actually had news articles about it so im gonna be vague but he hosted a party at his first school and a guest ended up shooting themself in the face with a gun owned by his then roommate. And what happened after that is my roomate and a bunch of other people got arrested and sent to jail and while in jail my roommate’s lawyer told him that he strongly suggests that they try and fight the DA from formally pressing charges (which probably wouldve been some type of manslaughter probably negligent since it wasnt his gun nor did anyone say it was his idea to play around with it while drunk but he did host the party) so he could have a clean record because being aquitted of manslaughter still doesnt look good. And I guess since he was in custody but wasnt charged yet there was no bond set because that comes after charges are accepted by a judge he just had to stay in jail for awhile.

And when they moved him to county jail, for some reason, despite being a young college guy with a clean record, they decided to assign him to the inmate pod that is normally reserved for “Repeat violent offenders or inmates otherwise judged to pose a danger to themselves or others” despite the fact that if he allowed the charges to stick it wouldve been a first offense of someone with a clean record and no ties to organized crime. So essentially he got sent to the part of the jail that emulates a maximum security prison since thats where a lot of those guys are heading so it was the part of the jail with the worst conditions, the most terrifying inmates and the most sadistic guards but before that even happened he had to spend two weeks in solitary and was going utterly insane from that and he didnt know what was worse losing your mind and sense of self or living in terror of your life everyday. And his first cellmate was a middle aged white guy that my roommate initially saw as being one of the few normal-seeming inmates in a pod filled with actual killers and he just had no interest in spoiling that by asking the dude what his charges are since they got along but a few days later he saw him get beaten nearly to death by because a news article came out naming that guy as a child killer. Also since my roommate was white the Aryan Brotherhood basically had ‘sovereignty’ over him and he’d get approached by guys covered in Nazi tattoos wanting to ‘show him how things work’ but usually it was to extort commissary out of him but you see my roommate was also Jewish so the Aryan Brotherhood are definitely not “his people” nor is he “their people” so that was just constant terror. And his second cellmate was a really tall Black dude accused of murdering his girlfriend and he had the weird habit of getting up in the middle of the night to just stare at my roommate (supposedly) sleeping for long periods of time which was also terrifying. Anyway that actually ended up working out because he essentially became his cellmates ‘personal servant’ (you probably know the actual word inmates would use for this situation but I dont want to sound like Im insulting my roommate for doing the intelligent thing when it comes to survival) by doing all the chores for the cell, taking care of laundry, taking dictation for letters to the guy’s lawyer since prison letters have to be handwritten etc in exchange for direct personal protection. And since the guy was not only physically intimidating but also well connected with prison politics and respected in the Folk Nation which was the main Black gang the Aryan Brotherhood people stopped extorting comissary out of my roommate so that was actually the closest things got to working out. And like, maybe in a pod filled with DUIs and people in for mere possession you could get by if you project confidence and the right swagger but not in whats essentially maximum security because thats filled with people that dont give a fuck about killing because theyre not impressed by you not being afraid to fight theyre only impressed if you show you dont give a fuck about committing murder so keeping his head down and sticking with the most benign relationship he could find.

Anyway his lawyer’s plan worked and he got out after 6 months. Also one of the first things he did outside was change his facebook privacy settings since people were saying they were gonna look him up and add him

I like jamie and daniel!! im excited to see more of them from u - it’s always fun to see how people deviate from source material, especially when they have the freedom to do whatever they want with them after making characters their own. are there any super outstanding differences between your characters and the characters they were based off of??

HEE HEE......thank you : ) to be honest i didnt expect anybody to really give a shit. ive just been excited to work on something that is all mine and i can do whatever i want with it

jamie is uhh. considerably less unhinged than gordon is. (he has to play by Real Life rules instead of video game ones so, like, naturally.) hes also marginally less neurotic and deals with stress by exercising a lot instead of having screaming meltdowns. but when it comes to a guy who hates him That Much and is constantly pushing and pushing.....well. theres opportunities for a good old fashioned screaming fist fight

hes still kind of a condescending asshole who thinks hes the smartest guy in the room, even though hes really clueless about his current environment. very bossy, just like the OG model. but he can focus on things much better than our adhd king and is a hard working guy whos pretty cagey about his past.....that last bit gets daniel all suspicious of him, under the assumption that hes laying low from something shady. criminal, even

(not that daniel cares on, like, a moral level, but he doesnt like the idea of this puffed up motherfucker strutting around town like he knows whats best for it when hes clearly got a dark past himself.)

which brings us to the last thing thats a major difference: hes trans and deeply committed to the stealth lifestyle. thats why hes so cagey. you could call it a bit of a learning moment for the both of them when their sinister assumptions about the other dont quite work out the way they think

the biggest difference btwn benrey and daniel is that daniel isnt spacey or obsessed with video games. he doesnt play fuckin video games and hes a lot more observant than people (jamie) give him credit for. i really really like how sulky and bitter benrey can be so i cranked that up a lot......and also his weird sadistic tendencies/turns of phrase

he still does struggle a lot with interacting with people in a way thats genuine and heartfelt. the closest he gets to "kindness" is by doing things and sharing things and keeping his mouth shut. i also am mildly obsessed with benreys fondness for photography so thats a pivotal character aspect here - daniels very keen on photography and observation (voyeurism, if u will) and used to take photographs for the county paper. and now......he doesnt. for Reasons

hes a real son of a bitch but he cares for his family more than anything. which is why hes stuck providing for three retirees on a mechanics wage. (hence the plot of weed in the woods.) and most of all, he is genuinely just some guy. no eldritch shenanigans or whatever. i have other OCs for that .

much like benrey he is also unabashedly homosexual. his town is so tight-knit and reliant on one another to get by that people largely dont give a shit, with a few exceptions. everybody knows hes fucking weird but very few people are keen to raise a fuss about it to him because A) hes the handiest guy in town, B) he sells pretty good weed, and C) rumors abound that he really might have killed a guy once. (but he wouldnt be the only guy in town to have done so. you know, if the rumors are true. "hunting accidents" happen sometimes out in the sticks.)

i have thought about this stuff to an embarrassing degree. Sorry

anyway in this au adam really likes sweets and would dream about a candyland often. hes our protagonist :) he gets backrooms'd to it one night bc he ate apple pie. the place has pink skies, bright vibrant green grass and wafer paths, and there's a sign in the horizon that says "welcome to madeleine county". hes not even wearing a hoodie anymore hes wearing a pink suit with an apple accessory on his head.

bitch is greeted by another jonah who doesnt remember him and is lemon themed! he takes adam to the huge candy mansion to meet the others, me (cesar) and mark. (heads up i Will refer to cesar in first person for this since hes me) one thing to note is that whenever adam asks to leave, me and the rest of the gang would silence him and/or ignore him. we also distracted him with a lot of activities like tea parties n picnics n whatnot to prevent him from asking questions :) also i feel like its worth mentioning that i gave him his pie hood.

so anyway one day adam wants to go and take a walk but since hes not allowed to leave the mansion alone he goes with mark. they make small talk n shit and adam talks about how he misses the old jonah when marks like. "be careful bro dont let the bright colours of this place blind you" and like. stopped to ask adam to check if "he" was watching to which adam turns and sees me peeking out the window <3 the two head back inside since its so late and adam cant sleep at all since hes questioning what the fuck mark meant.

so anyway jonah comes in that night to give a gift to adam (a matching apple earing, even though adams ears arent pierced) and jonah is like. very sad with adam since mark supposedly told jonah about how he missed his home. he does Not want adam to leave at all since he was so lonely without adam. i should mention that this bitch is very much obsessed with adam dont call him yandere though the creator of the au specifically asked not to call him one👍

on the third day adam woke up late and i scolded him for it and also the chat with mark i had. this is the part where everything starts to rot. the colours are dull, the wallpaper is peeling, the floors are worn down n shit and also my strawberries are going bad! i banned adam from talking to mark to force him to talk to jonah more. the two go out fishing for some candy fish in the pond. jonah is obvs very happy to spend time with adam, and asks if he's going to stay, to which he does Not want to stay and jonah is v passive aggressive for the rest of the activity.

anyways dinner time we're eating the fish adam and jonah caught and everything is quiet until adam starts ranting about how something is off. i shut him up and everythings quiet and mark gets up and desperately screams at adam to leave while he still can. i drag mark off, saying he's "feeling ill", which once again leaves adam and jonah alone. adam asks jonah if wanting to leave has something to do with this and jonah tells him to shut up and eat his fish. but its not candy anymore. its raw and rotting! anyways theres knocking at the door and jonah answers it which gives adam a chance to see what the hells going on with me and mark.

he follows the hallway i dragged mark off to, to which theres a trail of blueberry jam which slowly fades to red. he followed the trail which led to a big room with marks body on the floor with my cane covered in his blood </3 at the door were police officers (thatcher and ruth) asking about a missing person btw. adam stayed up late to prepare to strike that night.

he used his hood to carry weapons, like forks, sharp knives and even a blowtorch. he went down the hallway the jam was on, to notice a bunch of portraits of the same angel, obviously candy themed but they seemed to be watching him (this angel is presumably gabriel). i have no idea if this is important or not but i think im going to mention it anyway :) at the end of the hallway is the stairs to the basement, to which he finds mark on a plate, covered in his own blood with his eye missing. also theres a ton of missing posters everywhere.

he tells adam everything, down to how this place is only to lure people with sad lives in for their flesh, to how everything is rotting because im hungry and irritated about how adam wouldnt give in. he begs adam to go and that jonah has the key. he needs to leave before sunrise or else he will be there forever and he fuckin BEGS adam not to make the same mistake he did. adam notices mark's missing poster on the wall and gets to work.

as he gets out and goes up the hallway im there but EXTREMELY fucked up (and hot apparently) and with a massive fucking fork. simplifying yhis but essentially i try to kill adam but fuck up and he kills me👍 i think anyway. i melt into stuff. regardless when adam makes it to jonahs room jonah is also fucked up and taunts him n shit with a fake key but adam manages to slice him in half. jonah is still moving and talking and brings up adams mom, to which adam straight up cuts jonahs face. he grabs the key which was actually INSIDE jonah.

he wastes no time and gets to the officers, whom he begs to let him come with them and also traumadumps about what happened. and then some other guy (dave lee) runs in and says there's doors appearing everywhere at the station. the door was his way out and it looked just like his bedroom door, the door he went through to get in the place in the first place. so when adam wakes up the real jonah is there and adam traumadumps but jonah just says its a bad dream. jonah grips adams shoulder and is like "arent you happy to be home just like you wanted" and also theres the same shit me and dessert jonah were made of on jonahs hand.

that should be about it feel free to ask questions i am very normal about this au as you can tell

what i learned in 2021

1. do not procrastinate on things you need to get done. it will only stress you out more. ask someone to help you accomplish the task no matter how small if that’s what you need, but either way- do it as soon as you think about it

2. it doesn’t matter where you are it’s who you’re with. i may have gotten this from Aquamarine, but it’s never been more true

3. learn to be comfortable on your own. being your own best friend and taking yourself on dates, doing things alone is such a power and i am realizing how dependent i am.

4. take good risks! my favorite teacher taught me this and i am still learning it. taking risks is so scary but so worth it

5. budget budget budget. being a grown up is damn hard

6. cherish your family. it took my grandma dying for my whole family to be in one room again and we haven’t been together in almost a year since then. but text them and call them and let them know you’re thinking of them.

7. give more hugs HHUGS ALWAYS i don’t care if your love language isn’t physical touch. hugs are the best

8. airplanes suck, air fryers don’t. they don’t have anything to do with each other yet everything to do with each other. invest in a good airplane pillow

9. prioritize your health. when you feel it slipping don’t keep that habit going. find something to change it, bc you will only feel worse down the line. you will never regret starting it asap

10. you are still beautiful even when he doesn’t like you anymore

11. get over breakups fast it doesn’t matter in the long run and you’ll be ok i PROMISE. it is the absolute worst thing and you won’t feel like you can cry any harder than you are but you will be ok

12. mcdonald’s fries im sorry

13. do stuff that scares you and get out of your comfort zone. this is so important! my teacher told us our hw every weekend was to do something we have never done before and i’ve never cherished a professor’s words more.

14. crying will NOT WIN HIM BACK. cry all you want but don’t let him know HE DOesnt CARE THAT MUCH. not to be mean because he does care for you, but crying won’t change the fact that you are broken up. stop overthinking and wondering “what if” or “if i had only been __”. that will not change the outcome. you were meant to break up or not be together at this time.

15. appreciate where you are when you’re there. you won’t know how much you’ll miss it until you’re gone. it’s such a beautiful life.

Almost everyone is asleep rn so i can peacefully rant about a post which bothered me today for some reason since OP disabled comments n i couldn't comment under the post directly but anyways heres the post in case any of my mutuals who are fans of harry think im indirecting them coz im not :

Anyways firstly whats THE funniest is that OP is like "Um i dont pay proper attention to louis so idk everything about his situation uwu " but then proceeds to write almost TWENTY. PARAGRAPH. POST talking about louis' situation n there might be more than 20 paragraphs for all i know but i didn't bother counting but its SO FUCKING FUNNY how these ppl claim that they dont care about louis then write PARAGRAPHS discussing in perfect details about louis tomlinson's label, management, promo cycle and charts which even I and many louis' fans dont know.

Almost as if these ppl are wayy more obsessed with louis than his OWN FANS lmao. Also second thing thats annoying me about this post is that shes acting like its only the artists with "real talent" and "public pull", attention of GP and fan following who get good promo, media and GP attention as if there arent loads of artists who dont even have half of Louis tomlinson's fanbase and attention and yet get booked for big gigs and promo spaces and have their songs get high radio play and recognition and youtube views.

Yall mean to tell me pedophiles like 6ixx9iine have more “pull” than louis tomlinson since his youtube video got millions of views within hours??Yall mean to tell me rapists like R Kelly have more “pull” than louis tomlinson since his songs chart even after hes been convicted??Yall mean to tell me artists who dont even have half the fanbase of louis tomlinson and always lose in twitter polls by radio stations asking fans what songs to play next have less pullthan louis tomlinson?? miss me with that bullshit.

In 2016-17 niall and liam didnt even had half of solo fanbase as louis did. Thats just a fact.Yet niall and liam's labels and management invested huge amount of money and resources to get them into big playlists, radio stations and tv performances so that the media and GP could recignize tgeir talents. Niall was doing jingle balls in 2016 with only ONE song which too didnt chart much. And liam too managed to have strip that down in US itunes and radio play charts for a loong time thanks to all the promo he got.

In 2016 n 2017 first two of louis' solo songs got loads of streams n itunes sales without much promo and Back to you i e his most popular solo song was getting millions of views within days and hours. YET his team didnt bother doing good promo for any of his next singles or increasing his media visibility.He was MIA for long periods only to release nothing in 2018. The ONE song which got a decent promo after BTY was We Made It which also managed to crack top 30 US radio charts.His album went #1 on 50+ countries YET his team didnt bother booking him for ANY PROMO in the UK and did like ONE DAY of promo in the US .THATS IT .

The fact louis tomlinson does not have the "pull" is L A U G H A B L E. He had enough "pull" to gather a huge solo fanbase who waited for FIVE YEARS for him to release his solo album and tour, have that solo album reach #1 in itunes of 50+ counties, get a top 5 UK official charts and top 10 US album charts albums through their efforts ALONE with NEGLIGIBLE promo and have many of the shows of his tour being sold out. Many artists would PAY to have this type of loyal fanbase. No pull my ass

Louis hinted at releasing an album in 2017,18 and 19 but it was only in 2020 when he lost a huge chunk of his fanbase and GP attention that he got to release his first album .This NOT a case of “This artist doesnt have enough talent,pull or resources to get more recognition” this is a case of “ an artist’ team deliberately sabotaging any chances of the artist getting commercial success and ensuring that the artist gets as less visibility as possible”.

There are loads of artists who i wouldnt even have heard of if it wasnt for the fact that they were appearing on big promo channels.Artists like post malone, billie eilish,lizzo,lewis capadli,dua lipa, doja cat etc etc ALL were releasing equally amazing music wayy before they got big in the industry but it wasnt till their music labels and managements started investing money and resources into promoting them and putting their songs into big playlists and booking them for big tv and festival performances that they got famous and recognized by the GP.

Need more examples? just look at zayn malik and how he is the most vocally talented out of all of 1d and how his 1st album to went #1 and got huge sales and streams ALL bc his team his music into big playlists and booked him for at least some good promo YET his second album performed horribly despite being equally amazing as the first ALL bc his team didnt bothered promoting it AT ALL and sabotaged his physical copies deliveries.

Even Harry styles’ first album didnt performed as good as his second even tho he was the most anticipated solo member of 1d since his songs werent on big playlists and he didnt do more than 1 week worth of promo for it.He still had the same pull and resources then as he does now, what changed then??

EVERY artist no matter how good they are, needs the money and time of their label and management to establish themselves.Even the shittiest artists can get huge recognition and popularity if they are showed down people’s throats enough times.The current music industry is not about talent or resources but about how much an artist can be “sold” to the public and louis’ team didnt do a well enough job of it. THATS IT.

Harry wouldnt be where he is if he didnt had his whole label and management team 100% on his side ready to use any opportunity to promote him in the GP. Stop pulling out stupid excuses to justify your unnecessary hatred of louis , accept that he is just being sabotaged by his team and if you REALLY dont care about louis anymore then stop keeping tabs on him THIS desperately
