While working on comms, I'm finally finishing my Japanese-dub re-watch of CAoS, and during s4 ep6, I noted that:
The Biblical Lazarus, haunted by what he saw in Hell for the four whole days he was dead, lost his entire fucking mind on resurrection.
Mary Wardwell, dead and damned for almost six months and resurrected with her old life completely bamboozled… did not.

More Childe analysis for the gods of Childe analysis.
While I definitely headcanon the boy as a person with a PTSD, I think a lot of his traits that people in fandom interpret as signs of troubled personality are just an archaic system of values.
Honour and glory being more important than compassion, an open fight being more honourable than scheming, etc.
He was trained by a 500+yo fae being, it's only natural.

i feel like something is lost when writing a deeply religious character in a 'magic/gods etc are objectively real' setting and it never scratches the itch for me to read about faith and so on. it almost feels like cheating to write someone questioning faith when the evidence of magic etc is so objective and abundant, and it's just not interesting if ur looking at it as a study or commentary on religion in the real world. by saying all this I'm covertly announcing that I've made a new setting called It's Just Earth and another catholic priest character

honestly extremely fitting that the acronym to "the mortal instruments" is the same as the one to "too much information" bc it reads like that.

reason 63021 to adore alucard emery
also headcanon that lila has a habit of calling kell ‘master kell’ to tease him, and ends up discovering he quite enjoys it in very specific scenarios 👀

When folks are sometimes talking about Princess Tutu returning as a show, I don’t generally agree with that, the show is perfect as it is. However, what I want to have is the spinoff show about Kharon. What is it like to be a dad for the most unhinged teenage boy in town? I want to know.

Gem fusion au with a cryptid batman AND supernatural prince of Gotham Bruce Wayne.
In the eleventh hour the city is saved by the world famous demon creature finding the mysteriously missing prince and, in an act of true sacrifice and love for the rotten city, Bruce Wayne miraculously performs a perfect fusion with the monster, the glittering jewellery of status now adorning sweeping wings and fitting perfectly to the symbol in its chest, a diamond and pearl crown floating between two enormous pointed ears.

I'm doing a fun writing exercise (fiction) at the moment, and I've set it in a town I used to live in (Leicester), and honestly having to look at Leicester on google maps and street view to work out where characters live and where certain things happen has given me the hugest waves of nostalgia. I honestly love and miss that little city so much it's insane.
