Have you considered Megatron asking Makeshift to turn into Optimus, or maybe even Orion?

I have considered it, and seen it in a fic before (or. Well. At least planned in the fic. I didn't get to whether it actually ends up going through or not yet)

... but part of me really wants to see the results of this actually happening, especially considering how Megatronus and Makeshift were both gladiators before the war and Makeshift was one of Megatron's earliest followers.

There's a chance that Makeshift distinctly remembers pre-war Orion and Megatronus's old dynamic with the mech.

It could get ANGSTY, especially considering Megatron's behavior when he literally had Orion back on the Nemesis later on

listen to me. are you listening? tiktok is not uniquely anything when it comes to the internet. it is a tool and a platform like any other, used by all kinds of people—by nearly every kind of person or entity to whom it is available, in fact! and while what the u.s. government is doing right now to force the ownership of the company to change hands is bad and happening for the wrong reasons, to put it mildly—

claiming that the u.s. establishment is interested in shutting down tiktok because its been sooooo good and revolutionary for progressive/left-wing organizing is uhh. horse shit. that's not true. everyone uses tiktok. you, statistically, probably use tiktok. so do some of the congresspeople endorsing legislation that might end in tiktok being banned. so do right-wing influencers and terfs and trad-wives. just like everyone uses every other social media site.

don't fall into that trap of thinking that just because you and the people in your circle use this tool for good, that this tool is only used for good. it is actually just a tool for everyone!

here's an excerpt from a book called, The Wires of War, by Jacob Helberg which, if you're interested in why the u.s. congress is actually pulling this shit with tiktok, is a great read. this excerpt follows a section where Helberg described the role social media played in the Arab Spring in 2011. emphasis mine.

I wanted to make a cleaner summary of last week's classes and also review the classes I have this week since the material is already uploaded beforehand but I was feeling so horrible throughout the day that when I sat down I was just gonna look at the ones for tomorrow but I think I'm just gonna go to bed because I just gave my little numbers game a few tries and not even the joy of tribial elementary school-level math games is bringing my brain cells and/or full sentience back

hardest part about making fandom friends surprisingly isn’t the making them part, but the part where you start to lose interest in the thing that brought you all together, until you each split off to enjoy other fandoms and the friendship slowly fades into nothing again. perhaps there’s a metaphor in there somewhere, just not one i can quite put into words yet.

#ive been through a few fandoms throughout my time #specifically over the past 3 years #never really gets easier #i start to realize maybe ‘friendship’ isnt the right term for it anymore #comradery perhaps?#either way i still find it sad #despite not having contributed much myself…#fandom these days feels different to how it used to be too #not saying it was much easier back then.. but these days theres a lot more pressure to create for the consumption of others #rather then because you truly enjoy doing it #maybe it also has something to do with how social media usage and interface has changed as well

Oh I actually feel like doing things now this is great.

#I’m so surprised every time I start adderall again.#also figured out the very simple solution to the problem I had of doing detailed embroidery on felt.#which I had done before (kind of? it wasn’t really detailed) by attaching a sturdier fabric to the back #which. first of all I just chose the closest scrap to me which was probably too sturdy so it took some force to push the needle through.#and also still probably wouldn’t help much with a more detailed piece.#idk maybe. I don’t feel like doing that again tho.#probably the interfacing also made it tougher.#SO I somehow literally only just thought of doing the stitching separately and putting it on like an appliqué.#how has this been what’s making me out of the project for over a year.

Bonus:

they’re under readmore, because I used these programs for some time and I know how to use them. While Krita, FireAlpaca and Medibang was very new for me dwkflfwllf very fun exprience. Also color palette on every Polarowl is different, because I draw her from memory every single time (I am too lazy to open her reference)
