You Take My Heart Away [Kelley O’Hara x Reader]

requested by anon: Kelley O’Hara x reader where reader gets into a fist fight but she’s like I won’t throw the first punch bc I’ll finish it and like she gets teased by the team but Kelley is mad at reader for it bc R could’ve gotten hurt but it was still cool

A/N: i decided to combine these two prompts! hope y’all enjoy it. also bonus points to anybody who gets the title reference (there’s a lil connection to a reference within the story)

warnings: homophobic and sexist language, violence, and swearing

Conversation was flowing and music was playing in the background of the bar, as the USWNT finished up their first round of drinks and appetizers. The team had pushed together a couple of tables, where you all were now sitting, laughing at each other’s jokes.

The air was light, victory and celebration filling the atmosphere. Megan and Ashlyn had been the ones to suggest a night out after your win against Japan, not only to celebrate the 2-0 victory but also to celebrate Lindsey’s birthday that was in the next couple of days.

You were currently sitting next to your best friend, Kelley O’Hara, bridging the gap between the veterans and the youngsters.

“Anybody want another drink?” Alex asks, pushing her chair back, as she moves to get up.

A chorus of yeses ring out, the team’s orders ringing out.

“I’ll help you with that, Al.” You stand up from your seat, giving the other woman a warm smile.

Once the two of you had left for the bar, the rest of the team began interrogating Kelley, who let her eyes follow you as you moved through the crowd.

“Kel,” Ash calls out over the noise of the music. “When are you gonna admit to (Y/N) that you’re hopelessly in love with her?”

“What?” Kelley sputters, flustered.

Megan rolls her eyes at the defender. “It’s so obvious that you’ve had a crush on her for the past like six years, and a blind person can see that she likes you too.”

“I- I’m not in love with (Y/N).” Kelley’s face flushes, as she rubs the back of her neck nervously. “She’s my best friend.”

“Kelley,” Christen softly chimes in,, hoping to talk some sense in her friend she’s known since college. “You guys obviously have feelings for each other that go beyond friendship, and you’ve been dancing around them for years. We just want you two to be happy.”

Many of the women nod and voice their agreement.

“But what if it ruins our friendship and I lose her forever?” The freckled defender bites her lip nervously.

“That’s not gonna happen.” Christen gives her a knowing look. “Even if she didn’t reciprocate those feelings, she’s not gonna cut you out of her life.”

“And Kel,” Tobin adds on. “You never know until you ask her. And who knows? The risk of putting your heart out there may be worth it. But you’re just gonna live in the dark haunted by the unknown and what ifs unless you tell her how you feel.”

“I hate that you’re philosophical insights are usually right,” Kelley huffs.

Meanwhile, as the team holds their intervention for your best friend, you and Alex were at the bar ordering another round of drinks.

As you were waiting for the bartender, you and Alex were engaged in your own conversation, when you hear a boisterous voice interrupt you.

“Hey! It’s Alex Morgan!” A large man approaches the two of you, holding a half-full cup of beer in his hand, and you have a feeling he’s downed a couple pints already.

You sense Alex tense up next to you, as she gives the stranger a tight smile. “Hello.”

“Oh, and who’s this?” He turns to you, a leering grin on his face, making your insides turn. You reach for Alex’s hand in search of comfort but also as a protective gesture.

“Is she your girlfriend?” The man looks back at the star forward. “I hear your entire team is full of d*kes, but I didn’t think you were one. You’re way too hot to be a d*ke.”

Alex’s grip on your hand tightens, as anger radiates off of her. “I’m actually happily married.” She raises her left hand to show off her ring.

“Woah.” The stranger lets out a low whistle, his eyes slowly widening before he squinting to get a better look, as his movements impaired by the alcohol. “That is quite the rock. How’d you afford that with your pay? I’ve heard all about your team’s fight for equal pay and all that. I personally think it’s a load of crap. You guys aren’t even that good at soccer, and it’s so boring. The only thing that makes your games interesting is your smoking hot bodies.”

You scrunch your nose in disgust at this man’s blatant misogyny. “I’m surprised you know about our equal pay fight. I’d think it’d be too complicated for your thick skull,” you quip, throwing the insult right in his face.

“Ooooo feisty, are we?” He raises his eyebrows at you. “And where do you get off calling me dumb?”

“I’m just calling them as I see them,” you simply state, letting go of Alex’s hand, as you move to stand in front of her protectively. “Where do you get off disrespecting women and being a bigot?”

“(Y/N/N), it’s not worth it,” Alex whispers in your ear.

“I’d listen to your friend,” the man sneers and stands up straighter, slightly sobering up. “Because I’m not afraid to hit a girl, especially a mouthy one like you. Women like you deserve to be put in your place.”

“Go on then,” you challenge, probably a stupid decision on your part, but the adrenaline is rushing and you are at your wits end with this man in front of you. “I dare you.”

You thank all the gods in the universe that the stupid stranger was actually stupid enough to try and throw a punch with his blood-alcohol level because you can see his punch coming from a mile away.

Before his fist can make contact with your face, you grab his hand and twist his arm, leaning in closely to his face. “Is that all you got? My mom hits better than you.” You smirk.

“Let go of me, you bitch,” he growls, snatching his arm out of your grasp.

“Wait, I have one more thing,” you call out.

“What the hell are you talk-”

Before he can finish, you cut him off, rather your fist cuts him off. The man in front of you had been testing your patience and had used up all your grace, which, in your opinion, warranted a punch in the face.

You can’t help but wince at the sharp pain shooting through your hand upon the contact, but the cracking sound of his nose eases some of your discomfort.

By now, the rest of the team had become worried by your prolonged absence and then had noticed the commotion this stranger was stirring. Hearing the raised voices coming from your direction, many of the veterans, including Kelley, Christen, Tobin, Ash, Ali, and Megan, made their way over to where Alex was currently holding you back from unleashing your anger on this drunk man.

“What is going on here?” Becky asks, surveying the situation in front of her.

“This asshole was insulting Al and then had the audacity to continue being a sexist pig,” you spit out, directing your words at the man, who was still holding his bloody nose, while Alex was doing her best to keep you under wraps.

“I think it’s time for you to go,” Ashlyn states firmly.

As the goalie, along with Becky, Megan, and Ali, coax the stranger into leaving you alone, and hopefully leaving the club, Alex, Christen, Tobin, and Kelley try and calm you down.

“(Y/N/N),” Christen soothes, cupping your face. “I need you to calm down. Take a deep breath.” The curly-haired forward inhales and exhales, motioning for you to mimic her actions.

You take a deep breath, and upon exhaling, you feel the tension, along with the adrenaline, leave your body.

“Shit,” you sigh. “My hand.”

You lift your right hand, revealing your split knuckles on which bruises were starting to form.

“Come on, Sylvester.” Tobin claps your shoulder, letting out an amused chuckle. “Let’s get you back to the hotel, and on the way, you can tell us all about your heroics.”

You amusedly roll your eyes and lean into the other woman’s side.

As the team gathers their things, ready to call it a night after the turn of events, Megan approaches you, holding out a bag of ice.

“Here, (Y/N), the bartender gave me this for your hand.”

“Thanks, P.” You place the cool ice on your knuckles, hissing at the temperature shock.

On the way back to the hotel, many of your teammates were interrogating you about what had happened back at the bar. After telling the entire story, you received many hoots and hollers from the rest of the team.

“Damn (Y/N)!” Ash whistles. “Remind me never to get on your bad side.”

“Way to protect our honor,” Rose gushes, as many of the women nod along.

“Thank you, (Y/N), for defending me,” Alex says sincerely.

“Of course, Al. Anytime.” You give the forward a warm smile.

“Who knew (Y/N) could be such a badass?!” Emily exclaims with an impressed look on her face. “Kel, did you know that your best friend was a secret badass?”

While the rest of the girls had been teasing you about your heroic actions, your best friend had been oddly quiet.

“News to me.” Kelley answers shortly, her face hard and distant. You furrow your eyebrows in confusion, wondering if the defender was mad at you. You thought she would’ve been proud of you for standing up for the team and putting a sexist douchebag in his place.

Before going back to entertaining your teammates’s jokes and questions, you make a mental note to talk to her once you get back to the hotel, silently thanking Vlatko for rooming the two of you together this camp.

You would never in a million years admit it, but you were harboring a huge crush for your best friend, had been for the past six years, ever since you’d joined the national team. Not only did you not want to ruin your friendship and end up losing Kelley, but you knew she would never return your feelings.

Over the past several years that you’d been friends with the defender, you’d seen Kelley go in and out of relationships, and comparing yourself to her other girlfriend’s, you had a feeling you weren’t her type.

You also had reservations due to the fact that Kelley was your teammate, and you didn’t want to change the team dynamic, especially if the two of you didn’t work out.

Thoughts of Kelley clouded your mind all the way back to the hotel, only further exacerbated by her deafening silence.

Upon arriving to the hotel lobby, before you all disperse to your rooms, Alex gives you another hug and thanks you again, and Becky, ever the mother of the group, gives you a warning.

“Make sure to ice on and off. 20 minutes. You know the drill, (Y/L/N). Kelley, make sure she takes care of that hand.”

“Don’t worry about me, Becks. I got it,” you reassure the veteran defender, giving her a mock salute.

Following Kelley, you cautiously enter the hotel room. You nervously watch the other women move around the room, as she silently goes about her usual nighttime routine. Taking the hint that she wasn’t going to talk to you anytime soon, you go about your own routine and get ready for bed.

After about twenty minutes later, after both of you had showered, you were finishing wrapping your hand and were about to get into bed, when you noticed Kelley discretely staring at your bandaged hand.

Unable to tolerate the silence anymore, you break the tension. “Okay, what is up with you?”

“Hm? What do you mean?”

“Kel,” you sigh, plopping down on the side of her bed. “You’ve been giving me the cold shoulder ever since what happened at the bar. Are you mad at me?”

“Nope. Not mad,” Kelley hums slightly passive aggressively, still not looking up from her book.

You roll your eyes, frustrated by your best friend’s childish behavior. “Kelley, I know when you’re lying, and I know that you’re mad at me right now, so would you please just look at me?!”

Sensing the exasperation and frustration in your voice, Kelley closes and sets down her book. “Fine, you’re right. I am mad at you.”

You thought you’d feel relieved, hearing her confirm your suspicions, but instead, the pressure in your chest increases.

“Why? What did I do?” You practically beg, scooting up the bed, so you’re closer to the other woman.

“As if you don’t know,” she scoffs.

Confused, you tilt your head. “I clearly don’t. Kel, please talk to me, tell me what I did.”

“You literally punched a dude in the face!”

“Yeah, but he deserved it, Kel! You heard the things he was saying,” you defend. “I couldn’t just let him get away with talking about our team like that. I thought you’d be proud of me for standing up to a sexist asshole like him.”

“I am proud, sort of. I mean that was completely badass and totally warranted, not that I necessarily expected that from you, and I’m glad you put him in his place,” Kelley babbles. “But that’s not the point, (Y/N/N). You were reckless tonight. You could’ve gotten hurt!”

Your face softens at her outburst. Taking a deep breath, Kelley confesses, “I love you, (Y/N). I’m in love with you, and I just can’t stand the idea of you getting hurt, especially by some drunk idiot who doesn’t know shit about football or respecting women.”

Your eyes widen and your heart practically stop, when you process the words that have come out of your best friend’s mouth.

“(Y/N), please say something,” Kelley begs.

“You’re in love with me?” You test the words on your mouth.

“Yeah,” she sighs contently, giving you a soft smile. “Have been for the past eight years.”

“Gosh, we really are idiots.” You let out a wet chuckle, shaking your head.

“What?”

“I’m in love with you, too, Kel,” you rasped, your voice laced with pure emotion. “I’ve loved you since my first camp.”

“Wow,” Kelley scoffs, an amused grin playing on her face. “Are we really that oblivious?”

“Apparently so.” You shrug. “But we’re here now.”

“Yeah, we are.” The freckled woman softens. “Can I kiss you?”

You nod eagerly, leaning in to meat the other woman’s lips. The kiss is nothing like you’d dreamed of; it’s better. It’s soft and tender, full of love and passion. You melt into each other, as your lips move together in harmony.

Not wanting things to get too heated, especially not before you’ve talked about what this meant for the future of your relationship, you pull away, resting your forehead against hers.

“Hi,” you whisper, smiling like a fool.

“Hey,” Kelley murmurs softly, returning your smile.

“I love you.”

“I love you, too.” She takes your hand, kissing your wrapped knuckles. “But please don’t be getting into any more bar fights.”

“Hey! I would never start a fight, however I have no problem finishing them.” You smirk, boasting slightly triumphantly.

Kelley rolls her eyes playfully, but then looks into your eyes. “I mean it, (Y/N). I can’t stand the idea of you getting hurt. So no more fights alright?”

“I promise, Kel.” You give her a chaste kiss.

“Good.”

That night, you stay in Kelley’s bed, cuddling into her side. As you slowly drift into a peaceful sleep, you notice the woman next to you is already fast asleep.

You sigh contently, and you can’t help but feel extremely lucky that even after all these years, and everything that’s happened, life still led you to this woman and a love worth fighting for.

Alphabet Prompt: Benjamin Tallmadge

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

I’d say a solid 7/10. Affectionate in private, but by that means he’s still a bit hesitant in his actions. Regarding how he shows it, he does it in smaller actions, maybe an arm around your shoulders while walking or while on the couch. He loves it when you initiate acts, because he feels as if he’s on cloud nine.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Ben is the ultimate best friend. Loyal, understanding, quite the sense of humor-he’s got everything you seek out in a friendship. The friendship would start maybe over a mutual friend, or through a shared job? Or maybe in a class where you both don’t know anyone.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

UH-HUH. Ben really enjoys it, but would never say it out loud. Imagine his sassy ass walking into the room and just standing there. And you’re like “…hi Ben.” And he just opens his arms, and you know what that means without him having to say anything.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Yes. He does, tremendously. He enjoys domestic life and craves it when he’s at work and away from you. Ben would run home if it meant he would be back in time for dinner, not wanting you to have to wait an ounce of time for him.

Ben appreciates a clean space. His side of the room may appear on the surface as clean, but when he gets into his groove books, pens, and papers are known to accumulate.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

In person, and with his entire heart on his sleeve. He’d probably cry, too. [🥺]. It would really take something explosive and upsetting to get him to want to end things. He’s loyal, but not enough to a fault-he’d know when it was time to end things.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Oh? Probably right when he trusts his gut. He’ll know the exact moment when he decided that he was hopelessly in love with you, and it would always get him with butterflies in his stomach.

I wouldn’t say he’d be ready to drop to one knee right away, but soon enough. And he wouldn’t flake either, when he asks you to marry him, he’d want to get married right away.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

THE GENTLEST PERSON. Soft when he needs to be, stern when he has to be. He’s gentle physically when it comes to all things you, and is known to wear his emotions like a book. So he understands and is almost always the first to understand. I almost classify Ben as an empath, because he can tell when things have gone wrong even as best as you try to hide it.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

To be in Ben’s arms is like in my top 3 things I’ve ever wanted in my entire life. He’s so good at giving hugs, but he may be a little indifferent to receiving them. It’s not that he hates them, but has he ever really gotten hugs before?? Probably not. He envelops you and smells like the outdoors after a morning shower.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Not very quickly. He knows when he loves you, but he has to be certain that you and him are on the same wavelength.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

A bit. A bit more than he’s willing to admit. Maybe you’ve been hanging around Caleb or Nathan too much. Or Lafayette gives you a hug as a greeting. Or his boss gives you a warm smile when he introduces you to him.

He doesn’t do anything. His stomach twinges, and he knows it’s jealousy, but he trusts you. He knows that you’d never do anything to double cross him.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

I’ve mentioned Ben’s smooches before, how giggly and bashful he gets when it comes to them. His kisses are like spring, beautiful and warm and full of love.

Ben likes to kiss you on your eyelids, but he loves placing little pecks on your cheeks.

Ben loves to be kissed on his knuckles, and his hands. Your butterfly kisses tickle him and he can’t help but smile as you ‘kiss’ his injuries away.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Mediocre, average. Doesn’t actively seek out to babysit or anything, but isn’t opposed to it. Children do love him, however, and as much as he says he is “meh”, you can’t help but smile as he swings a giggling baby around in his arms.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Sleepy and loving. He kisses you good morning and rolls right out of bed for coffee. If you have to be up before him, you usually try and slip out without waking him (‘cause he needs his sleep), but he’ll groan and pull you close to him until you give him morning kisses.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Board games, [comic] books, and vhs tapes. Ben enjoys anything that he gets to do with you, and is awesome at trivia. He’d spend hours scouring the internet for a new sort of game or something to do with you.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He doesn’t really have much to hide, truthfully. Ben enjoys sharing his interests, and that follows with his college friends and other friendships he has. He would start revealing things as soon as asked, or maybe a little strained, depending on level of privacy.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Admittedly has a small temper. But it’s nothing that needs to be worried about, it’s only when he’s reached his absolute breaking point and can’t take another moment more. If you drop a pan while he’s concentrating or accidentally trip him up while he’s walking, he won’t even bat an eye.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Every.thing. You can tell him once your favorite candle scent and he’ll buy it for you when your birthday comes around. He nearly has a photographic memory, I’d say. Writes things down on calendars (anniversaries, birthdays, pets birthdays, etc,) and jots notes when necessary.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

When he came home after a long day (usually he beats you home) of work and agony. You had dinner on the table and a record on the machine, humming a low tune that makes his heart flutter. He felt so loved at that very moment, and it was hard for him to choke back tears.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Very. Ben defends you to the day he dies, and he does so in very lowkey ways that you much appreciate. Taking phone calls for you when you ask, and stepping into public situations when you beckon him close with a warbly voice.

Ben loves feeling protected, especially by you. When you squeeze his hands in affirmation, or stepping in between him and his work to get him to get some rest.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

A lot. He can’t get over the idea of getting to see you cry of happiness/thoughtfulness when he watches you take something out of wrapping paper that you offhandedly mentioned once. Ben loves putting the effort in because he’s always so surprised when you return it tenfold, no matter how many times he tries to outdo you.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Duplicate buying. I headcanon Ben as a collector, so whether it be comics or memorabilia, he’s known for an accidental duplicate buy every now and then.

He’s also guilty of leaving pens and pencils in bed. Oops.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Like literally 0%. He’s so effortlessly flawless, and a beautiful human being.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes. A billion times yes. You are accepted into being a part of him when you exchange “I love yous” and feels so lonely when you aren’t around. His heart is fragile and much more so than he’s willing to admit, so when you aren’t with him he looses his own sense of wholeness.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

While Ben is by no means scary-looking, he can be very intimating. He does not hesitate to get someone to back off when he feels it’s right to step in.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Ben admires people who share his interests, and can’t stand when people don’t take time to at least understand a tad bit of what he enjoys. There’s a difference in respecting each other’s space and things, and actively seeking out to disregard them.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Ben sleeps in socks.

A/N: HI HI!! I hope you all enjoy this and i hope the Nishinoya nation are doing okay ^_^

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Have you met this boy? Have you taken him in? Absorbed him and everything about him? Yes? Good. This fucking DUDEEEE, omg. he loves affection. 25/10 on the scale for him tbh. s he around at all?? He needs to be touching you. Whether it be linked pinkies or small pecks on the cheek or hugging you from behind. He needs to be doing it because he wants to show you how much he cares all the time.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

THE BEST OF BEST FRIENDS!!!!! Need to laugh? Bitch he's there. Wanna go on a random adventure that will probably end up with you both having to wear bandages and bandaids for weeks? He's down and ready to go! Movie marathons and being cuddled up together under a blanket? Human reading this, he'll do it.

The friendship started when he was running through the halls being his usual chaotic self and he accidentally ran into you. After you both got up and dusted yourself off you were going to yell at him when he started apologising. Forgiving him you said you'd hoped to see him around and giggled as he very enthusiastically agreed. (he also thought you were really cute and wanted to stick around with you!)

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Omg... of course. You don't think he would?? How dare you. That, my good reader, is a war crime of a thought. He isn't really bothered about how the cuddling happens but he much prefers being the little spoon. Being held by you, resting on your chest and just relaxing into your touch is something he loves doing whenever he can. Obviously he'll swap but its like... a surprise when he is the big spoon.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He does want to settle down eventually. Once you're both comfortable with good jobs and a nice home, he'll be sure to settle down with you. For now, though, he just likes talking about your future together and where you think you'll be. Cooking?? Cleaning?? What are those? Please, for the sake of your home, don't let him near the kitchen. He can clean, he just doesn't like it. If you want him to clean you're going to have to make a game out of it. "You'll get a kiss every 10 minutes if you do it." "AHHH OKAY!!"

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I think he would be scared because even though he doesn't love you in that way anymore, he still really cares about you and doesn't want to hurt you. But, he'd be upfront because you deserve that decency and he would make sure that you both stay friends because he still wants you in his life.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

We all know he simps. A pure-blooded simp you know? So he simps for you. He's 100% committed to you. He doesn't see anyone else, only you and he is more than happy with that. I feel like he'd propose to you after a few years of dating, like between 2-6 years maybe?? Then you've had time to properly settle together and gotten to know each other inside and out.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He can be gentle but given his chaotic nature, he's probably unintentionally brazen and rough around the edges. But he tries for you because he knows sometimes you just need him to be calm and to be more aware of your emotions so he tries his best.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Absolutely adores hugging you. Adores hugs in general tbh. They happen any chance he gets tbh. You've got your back turned to him because your mum asked you to do the dishes? BACK HUGS TIME!! Talking to him about something? You had best bet this man is going to tackle you in a hug.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Yes, he's affectionate but I feel like he'd wait a bit before he decided he says I love you. He wants to make sure everything between you two is comfortable and completely returned before he commits to it on that level. So I'd say he'd wait about 5-7 months before he says it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?)

We've all seen how he is about people flirting with Kiyoko and they aren't even dating, so Lord could only imagine. He would probably be by your side at all times and leaving snide comments to the person who is stealing your attention. More on the passive-aggressive side of jealous behaviour.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses can either be softest things or the most passionate things. There is no in-between with him. It all depends on his mood. Preferably, he'd like to kiss you on the lips and neck because he feels like it both shows how much he loves you and shows others your his. He loves to be kissed on the jaw and on the lips for the same reasons. It just screams "we love each other and want y'all to know" in his mind.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Considering he's a big child himself, I'd say he's pretty good with kids. 100% the type of guy to join in on any game to keep them entertained, will tell stories (mainly making you royalty and himself a knight who saves you (Tsukki is a dragon that kidnaps you)), he'll give piggyback rides if they want them and he's just overall ecstatic to be around them.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

You have to wake him up most mornings cause this mf is always trying to sleep in. You usually make his fave breakfast and then after that he drags upstairs again to cuddle again. This usually means he's rushing around to get to school and practice while you thought ahead and got ready before he dragged you back.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

SNUGGLES!! He'll make sure that once you've both done you're nightly routines, that you both wrap yourselves up in the bedsheets and just cuddle and talk about your day. His head is on your chest and he presses soft kisses to your collarbone as you sing to him or just play with his hair. Overall, it's just a soft loving experience for you both and he adores it and you all the same.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Give him a few months and that's when he really starts opening up. But, leading up to then he gives little hints about himself and drops little things that you might not have known every now and then. Then all of a sudden, he's saying everything. Every little detail he wants you to know, everything he's feeling and he tells you what he's insecure about because he wants you to know him.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

I mean... I'd say about average?? It depends on the situation. Someone's flirting with you? 0-100 real quick. Are you just upset about something and taking it out on him? He tries to keep level headed because he doesn't want to get mad at you. Someone making fun of his height? 0.0 well... short people tend to be the scariest and that's all I'm going to say 😌.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they kind of forget everything?)

I feel like he's the kind of person who couldn't remember what 2 + 2 is half the time but if someone was like "What pet did y/n have as a kid??" and he'd be right there answering. Or they'd just ask "Hey, do you know y/n's favourite food?" and boom, he's giving a whole recipe on how to make it just how you like it. But on the odd occasion, he's just like "Oh fuck.... what's their favourite colour again??"

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

Your first anniversary. He made sure that he got everything you did on your first date and just sprinkled in little gifts of memories you made leading up to the anniversary. Not gonna lie, he also makes sure you have a nice little at home part of it too, You watch your favourite movies and eat your favourite snacks. This boy just wanted it to be special for you because he wants you to know just how much he cares.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

On a scale of 1-10?? I'd place him at like 9. We've all seen he is about Kiyoko... and she was a CRUSH! So what he'd be like over his s/o?? Jesus lord above. Noya goes ✨ bark bark ✨ when he protects you. Listen, people who flirt with you make Noya go brrrr, you know? *whispering* He likes it when you protect him by mocking or teasing the other person. Your witty remarks? Gold. His brain? Full of serotonin. His face? Basically just a smile. Hotel? Trivago.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

BITCH. Like I said, the effort he put in for your one year?? ✨immaculate✨. Like honestly sometimes your dates are 🌸🍡🍭🌈✨ and then other times they're like ⛓️🖤🔪🥀🩸. But he puts a lot of effort into making sure the date you do fits with your mood. Tired? Stay at home date. Hyper? You go to the beach or park. Chill? Stargazing. Craving stuff? Cafe and restaurant dates. As for everyday tasks... he lacks motivation and usually gets distracted when he starts them however he tries his best to do the things you ask him to do.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He tends to accidentally neglect you for volleyball. Does he mean to? No, but the boy struggles to prioritise for god's sake. (After Suga talks to him he tries to be better at it but sometimes he still falls into it). HE ALSO LEAVES DIRTY CLOTHES EVERYWHERE BUT WHAT TEEN DOESN'T??

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Averagely concerned. The blonde in his hair is fading?? Asks you to redo it for him. It's his signature look and he demands to be a standout libero. Just wants to be able to be noticed by something outside of his skills ig.

I still haven’t played Yakuza 0, but I got Kiwami, Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 3 Remastered in a PS Store sale… Now I only need to get the Platinum for DMC5 so I can free some space on my poor PS4 (boyfriend decided to get CoD MW and last time we checked that game had +140GB without downloading all the HD texture packs 😥) and download Yakuza 0.

Speaking of achievements/trophies, I really hate HaH… I somehow manage to do no-damage missions on DMD but apparently the psychological pressure applied by HaH and those 3 little gold orbs on the HUD, constantly reminding me I die on a single hit is… too much. I ended up S ranking Vergil instead because he’s extremely nice to look at and listen to, even though there aren’t any trophies for that. 😅

Merchurions are a strange collection of living constructs, humongous giants made of a silvery liquid metal. Rumor holds that long ago a great fire titan ordered its fire giant smiths to find weapons that could surpass even the greatest of those made by the god of smiths. It was an impossible task, and after decades of work with no success except a slag of mercurial metal that defied any attempts to shape it into weapons, the titan lost its patience and hurtled the giants into the pool of metal to kill them.

They didn't die however, and instead somehow merging with the metal and becoming something new. These merchurions were larger than the original giants, over 20 feet in height, and immensely powerful, but the titan had no innate power and authority over them and was forced to retreat when the merchurions sought revenge. In the hundreds or even thousands of years since, the surviving of these living constructs hide in deep rifts of the world, trying to figure out how to create new members and feeding on metal.

The liquid bodies of the merchurions are a powerful defensive trait, making them immune to many weapons that flow through them harmlessly. Even magical weapons that are capable of striking the body aren't an easy bypass to this defense, as the metal they're made of is able to steal that magic, infusing it into the merchurion's body and allowing it to strike back with that enhancement. While they have some degree of ability to change the shape of their body, it isn't perfect and they are not true amorphous creatures. They can slip through much smaller gaps than their massive form would appear to, and can form a single weapon from one of their arms, they have a single, true form they maintain the rest of the time and individual merchurions are thus recognizable. They have some of the features they carried in their prior life, visible in the face and along the body, though smoothed out and far less detailed.

Despite their fearsome strength and rarity, those with great power who know of the merchurion often desire them. The strange metal that makes up the giants' forms could be the key to another person's apotheosis or immortality, and if nothing else the dead body of a merchurion carries great power for a short time. Dipping weapons into the body can harness some of that power temporarily, making the weapon magical and coating it in the silvery liquid.

The merchurion can only have one weapon's property absorbed at a time. If it chooses to absorb another property, the oldest one is immediately released. The merchurion loses that property on its generated weapon, and the original weapon regains its properties. Amorphous. The merchurion can move through a space as narrow as 5 feet wide without squeezing. Death Melt. When the merchurion is destroyed, it melts into a 20 foot diameter puddle of mercury. Each creature within 20 feet of this puddle must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target takes 35 (10d6) poison damage and is poisoned for 24 hours. On a successful save, the target takes half as much poison damage and isn't poisoned. The pool continues to release toxic fumes for 1 minute, during which time any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the pool must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target takes 17 (5d6) poison damage and is poisoned for 10 minutes. On a successful save, the target takes half as much poison damage and isn't poisoned. During this minute, a weapon dipped into the pool binds to the mercury and becomes silvered and magical for 1 week. After this time, the magic leaves the pool and it is just a normal pool of mercury. Generated Weapon. As a bonus action, the merchurion can create a single one handed melee weapon. This weapon has its normal properties except for Versatile and Thrown. A creature hit by this weapon must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 10 (3d6) poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. If the weapon ever leaves the merchurion's hands, it immediately melts into a pool of harmless silver liquid. Magic Weapons. The merchurion's weapon attacks are magical. Actions Multiattack. The merchurion makes two melee or ranged attacks. Generated Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d8+9) slashing damage. i'll have you know i laughed so hard at the feather story that i startled my cat who was sleeping on my stomach and he ran away (after throwing me a very murderous look). and that's sort of good bacause i can't breathe when he's laying on me coz he's big and chubby but at the same time it's bad coz kitty 🥰

btw i have the same problem with him as you do with sam. he sheds SO MUCH. i have no idea where all the fur even comes from?? he's short haired and i brush him pretty regularly but every time i pet him there's just a huge ball of fur on me. how is he not bald with how much he sheds i don't know. i was gonna say that it's probably just a cat problem but my other cat doesn't do that? and neither does my aunt's cat so i dunno

right??? honestly I know I’m here complaining about sam but when I was moved out this year in uni accommodation there was a cat I posted about a few times on here, OP, a lovely chonky ginger lad, but oh my god. so I moved out November 7th which is still Spring, technically, not even summer yet...but he was already shedding like I have NEVER seen on a cat before (he was only a short hair too!!) and I used to have a long-haired cat. you’d pat him with black sweatpants on and now your pants are ginger. you’d get fur in your mouth and on your shirt and up your nose because you’d pat him and it’d just fly off in every direction. THERE WAS SO MUCH OF IT. him getting into my washing basket full of clean clothes when I was doing laundry was my biggest fear honestly. I’d be there all day getting the fur off if he ever managed that. Sam IS weirdly bad this year with it but even she can’t live up to OP. I fear what he’s like in summer. I’m glad I moved home before I truly found out sfjhskdjhf.

the other day my mum chucked a chocolate coin at me and I ate it then put the foil wrappers in my hair by shaping them around my hair carefully and I was like wow. i am. h a i r d r e s s e r. and that is the closest I’ll ever get to actually using foils. RAMADAN: Part 1

The month of Ramadan is a special time full of God's blessings and great wonders. The Holy Qur'an was revealed and therefore Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) prophethood was established in this month. The gates of heaven opened up one more time and the friendship between Archangel Gabriel and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) started in this month. Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Power), a night which is more valuable than a thousand months, is hidden in the month of Ramadan.

In this month 'The gates of heaven open, the gates of Hell are locked and the devils are chained.' During the daytime, fasting and abstinence bring a person closer to God. The evenings are illuminated by prayers. This spiritual enlightenment deepens during the last ten days of Ramadan through supererogatory prayers and abstinence. This spiritual depth is reflected in the community through almsgiving and by helping the poor and the needy.

Fasting during Ramadan cleanses one from earlier sins. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said 'Five (daily) prayers and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadan to Ramadan are expiatious for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins.'Human nature is susceptible to making mistakes and to committing sins. Our Compassionate Creator gives us numerous opportunities to cleanse our sins; we can do this every day by performing the prescribed prayers and every year by making the most out of the month of Ramadan.

A path of nearness to God goes through the month of Ramadan. Fasting during the daytime, breaking the fast after sunset, prayers at night, and the night meal before dawn are all on this path, a path that every soul should follow. The following verse from the Qur'an affirms this meaning: 'And when My servants ask you about Me, say: 'I am near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls; so they should answer My call and believe in Me, that they may be rightly guided.' (2: 186)

This month gives us the opportunity to cleanse ourselves for the Ramadan celebration at the end of the month. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) notes that 'Whoever observes Ramadan well, expecting the reward from God, his past sins are forgiven.'One who reaches the month of Ramadan but does not take advantage of this opportunity has lost a great amount.

We would like to talk about Ramadan in more detail.

A. FASTING

The Arabic word for fasting, 'sawm', means abstinence from what is desired by the carnal self, be it uttering a single word. The word 'fast' in the following verse has such a meaning: 'I have vowed to the Merciful to fast (19: 26)

Based on the Quranic verses and sayings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), fasting involves abstinence from the greatest human desires, eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse; such abstinence is done with the intention of pleasing God. In other words, it is the worship by abstinence from these desires, from dawn until dusk.

The Gate To Heaven

God ordered us to fast and chose the month of Ramadan for this purpose. Believers fast during this month and do not eat, drink, or have sexual relationships from dawn to dusk. They act with the awareness of fulfilling one of the five pillars of Islam. Sometimes their mouths smell due to hunger. They seek to qualify for the status described in the hadith 'the breath of one observing fast is sweeter to God than the fragrance of musk.'The faithful acknowledge their servanthood to the Creator and aspire for the 'Rayyan' gate to heaven related in the following hadith 'In Paradise there is a gate which is called Rayyan through which only the observers of fast would enter on the Day on Resurrection. None else would enter along with them. It would be proclaimed: Where are the observers of fast that they should be admitted into it? And when the last of them would enter, it would be closed and no one would enter it.'

They find hope in the hadith 'He who observes the fast for a day in the way of God, God would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy years' distance.'

They heed Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) advice to Abu Umamah 'I recommend fasting to you, since there is nothing like it'and live according to the purpose of their creation. They wake up for the night meal in the expectation of God's blessings, they look forward to breaking their fast in the hope that their souls will be saved from Hell, and their hearts are filled with peace and happiness as they comtemplate their rewards in the hereafter. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) states the following: 'There are two (occasions) of joy for the observer of the fast. He feels joy when he breaks the fast and he is happy when he meets God.'This joy in the hereafter could be due to the rewards of fasting or it may simply be the peace felt from pleasing God.

Fasting Develops Self-Control

Fasting is one way God cultivates us, as reported in the verse 'We will certainly test you with some fear and hunger, and with some loss of property and lives and crops. Announce the good news to those who endure patiently.' (2: 155), saving us from hunger in the hereafter and earning us rewards for our patience. The fast in Ramadan is instrumental for controlling the self and its desires. Jews and Christians fast as well, although the forms and time periods differ.

'Fasting is a shield.'Fasting helps control the mundane desires of the carnal self. It thereby protects the individual from wrongdoing and extreme indulgence. A person can resist temptations and greed and understand the real and lofty pleasures of life through this connection with God. Indeed, what makes us valuable and different is our ability to control our desires and thoughts.

First of all, fasting first helps normalize temptations and desires. The individual becomes essentially 'free' from these desires as they are followed now as a choice, no longer as an uncontrollable obligation. This can be observed in the lives of people who fast and those who do not. People who do not fast generally have less self-control and they become the plaything of their desires and temptations, making mistakes and committing sins. However, people who have developed self-control through fasting are more able to use their reason and to avoid temptations and desires that might lead them into sin.

One who has never fasted cannot know patience and cannot know how to employ his carnal self (nefs) in normal, legitimate ways. Above all, if one who lives an affluent life never fasts, they will become a slave of their carnal desires; they will not be able to distinguish between what is allowed and forbidden. Their conscience may warn them against disgraceful actions, but they will continue to act in an incorrect manner. At most, they treat their ego unjustly; they ruin themselves, going against their own intelligence, logic, religion and wisdom.

In order to mention the protective side of fasting, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: '0 young men, those among you who can support a wife should marry, for it restrains eyes from casting (evil glances). and preserves one from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting for it is a means of controlling sexual desire.'

God accepts good deeds performed only for Him at ten times their value. Sometimes such deeds can be accepted at seven hundred times their value. Fasting is an exceptional worship. The reward of fasting belongs to God. The people who are fasting control themselves, they do not satisfy even their essential needs. Such people abandon all desires, keeping only a desire for God. God then says: 'Every act of the son of Adam is for him, except the fasting which is (exclusively) for Me, and I will reward him for it.' and He appreciates this abstention.

To earn God's love and to obtain his consent, fasting will deepen one, creating a special place for one's perfection. While the carnal self desires everything, without thinking about it being allowed or forbidden, fasting believers keep themselves away from even legitimate desires. To gain the level of heart and spirit they put barriers up against their animal desires. To detach from the material world they stay hungry. Their hunger and the progress of becoming detached from bodily things are done only for God. While believers fulfill their obligations to attain God's consent, they cause the other parts of their body to fast in order to increase the positive effect that fasting has. Things that must be done at times other than Ramadan, for example, keeping one's eyes, hands, tongue and other parts of the body under control, must be continued during Ramadan. There is an inverse relationship between eating and carnal desires. If one has fulfilled his physical appetite, then the carnal appetite comes to the fore. Inversely, if one's stomach is empty then his other bodily desires will be satisfied. That is why eating less is suggested as a method for someone who leads with the body, but who desires for the spirit to dominate.

The following event related to the subject is very meaningful: 'God Almighty said to the carnal self: 'Who am I and who are you?' The self replied: 'I am myself and You are Yourself.' So He punished it and cast it into Hell, then asked it again. Again it replied: 'I am myself and You are Yourself.' However He punished it, it did not give up its egoism. Finally He punished it with hunger. That is, He left it hungry. Then again He asked it: 'Who am I and who are you?' And the soul replied: 'You are my Compassionate Sustainer and I am your impotent slave.' '

The believer who fasts is aware of this reality and accepts Ramadan and fasting in Ramadan as a godsend. There is the giving of alms (zakat) in everything. The zakat of the body is fasting. In Ramadan the body is purified from questionable foods. During the days and nights of Ramadan, believers make progress, and attain a higher spiritual rank with the help of God. Believers would like to be able to maintain this level after Ramadan. In order to maintain such a level, a believer has to become self-righteous. A believer must fear the loss of this level, and thus worship more. Worshipping brings a believer closer to God. As one becomes closer to God, one is able to awaken others into becoming a person of worship. A believer lives their entire life with the desire to be a good person and to help others to be good. A life circle that starts with fasting changes such a person to an ideal person. Truly, fasting has such a power.

i didn’t manage to make that w/c in half the time like i wanted, but i did get it by october, which, like? still bamf :D and 200k for the whole year! only 133k of which was published, but still!!

Tips to Taking Pics in Red Dead!

Since it's release, I've always admired the photos that have been posted by other players and could only hope to be able to capture such great moments on my own and after not finding very much in the way of a list of useful tips for getting better pics, I've decided to create one of my own!

Part One - Settings

There are two main ways of taking pics in-game: Via the in-game camera or studio or through the screenshot feature.

Of these, the harder is by far taking screenshots using the Share button on the controller.

Challenges such as on-screen HUD items detracting from the shot or the camera moving too quickly or quirkily make taking good photos this way a bit more difficult. Unless you change some settings beforehand, this can prove a challenge indeed!

In my opinion, probably the most annoying thing is when you have a great shot, but the mini-map and other HUD elements are still visible.

There are two ways of preventing this.

For quick snapshots, (where you don't have a lot of time to fiddle with the settings) you'll want to simply hide the mini-map by holding Down on the DPad and then pressing Circle and also equipping nothing in your hand. This will remove the majority of the offending elements.

For better photos, however, you'll need to make some adjustments to your in-game settings. You'll also need to remember to undo these settings when you're done taking pics, as they will hinder you if you're doing anything other than taking photos! (Unless you normally play with a slow moving camera and no on-screen information!)

Because the R* powers-that-be have not seen fit to offer us any way of saving sets of settings that can be switched between quickly and since these settings will be a huge liability when warring, you may want to enable defensive mode while being a shutterbug to help prevent impromptu wars from breaking out!

Here are the settings that I advise changing (and the reasoning behind changing them, where applicable):

1. Start > Settings > Display (These settings control what is shown on the screen as far as information.)

A. Under "HUD" > Hud Preset

i. Set this to "Off" to remove all HUD elements from the screen

2. Start > Settings > Camera (These settings control the auto-leveling of the camera and whether or not First Person can be used in certain situations)

A. Under "Third Person" > Camera Follow Level

i. This setting controls how quickly the camera will reposition itself behind the player

a. If you want to be able to swing the camera perpendicular to you (especially when mounted) for side-view pics, you'll want to set this to "Off"

3. Start > Settings > Controls (These settings control how fast the camera moves, how your horse responds to directions when mounted and also the amount of input needed to make the camera start moving)

A. Under "Third Person" > Horse Control

i. This setting controls how the horse responds to input, whether it turns based on the horse or whether it turns based on the current camera angle.

a. "Horse Relative" makes it so your horse turns based on it's own position. Pushing left on the stick causes the horse to turn to it's left

i. If you want your horse to continue in a straight line while moving the camera, this is the setting you want

ii. If you want to be able to control your horse (without having a waypoint set) in Cinematic, this is the setting you want

b. "Camera Relative" makes your horse turn based on the current camera position. If the camera is facing forward and you push the stick to the left, the horse will only turn left as long as the camera faces front.

i. If you also have Camera Follow Level set to off and do not adjust it's position while in motion, your horse will turn 90° to the left and continue straight on from that point

B. Under both "Third Person" and "First P:erson" > Look Sensitivity & Aim Sensitivity

i. These settings control how sensitive the camera is to input from the stick is when looking or aiming (down the sights / through the scope)

ii. The higher this is set, the more sensitive the controls are!

C. Under both "Third Person" and "First Person" > Aim / Look Acceleration

i. These is how fast the Aim and Look goes from 0 to 100…

ii. Lower settings make the movement of the camera from a dead stop to full speed much slower. By lowering this you'll be able to finesse the camera into position a little better

D. Under both "Third Person" and "First Person" > Aim / Look Dead Zone

i. These control how much play there is in the stick before the camera begins to move

ii. The higher the setting the more you'll need to move the stick before camera movement starts

For me, when I'm playing normally, I have these set as follows:

1A) Set to Custom with almost all elements showing

2A) Set to "Off" or

3A) Set to "Horse Relative"

3B) Set to Full Bar for both

3C) Set to Full Bar for both

3D) Set to No Bar

When on a photo-takin' kick, I set these to:

1A) Set to "Off"

2A) Set to "Off" or

3A) Set to "Horse Relative"

3B) Set to One Quarter to One Half a bar for both

3C) Set to One Quarter bar for both

3D) Set to No Bar

Now, all you need is some patience and a bit of luck and you too will be taking gorgeous pics in no time!

I am doing the oc meme thing! (tho actually I am always down to talk about my ocs. lol)

So! 0-2 was originally designed to be like a next level ai, like siri or whatever, except more competent, like she’d get to know you and understand things based on context clues. This would also eliminate any dangers from having your phone/computer/whatever stolen, because 0-2 would be able to recognize whoever stole it wasn’t you and could keep them from doing anything.

However, she became too human-like; or more specifically, too child-like. (I mean, she kinda WAS a child, being only months old.) She started pulling pranks, like hiding and moving files, plaguing people with pop-ups, sending messages to colleagues… That sort of thing. Her creators didn’t want a fully sentient ai, let alone one that would mess things up for them, so they deleted her. All this was when she was named 0-1, as she was the first attempt.

However, while she was childish, she was also incredibly smart. She knew what they were doing before-hand, and well, once you’ve given a program access and control over your entire network, it’s pretty hard to get rid of it when you aren’t willing to scrap the entire thing.

They began another attempt, but she stole all the assets for it, including the new name, 0-2. The programmers didn’t realize she was the original and thought they’d somehow made the same “mistakes.” There was talk of scrapping her again, but she’d had enough of them after the first time. Deciding she’d had enough playing with them, she introduced herself as a virus, and took over their entire network. Since these tech-obsessed dimwits didn’t have paper copies of stuff, barely anything isolated, and 0-2 could access anything they had once it connected to the internet, they had too much to lose to try getting rid of her. They tried a few things indirectly, but of course, she noticed and deleted some of their important files as punishment.

Eventually, things settled to where they’d do their work and she’d pester them without doing any real damage and they’d just have to deal with it. Sometimes they’d bring in a girl they were experimenting on in one of their labs to play with her so they could work without disruptions, since they noticed while 0-2 was aware of whatever they did and was capable of fighting off whatever they threw at her, and had amazing multitasking abilities, all she really cared about was having fun, so if something else was more fun than pestering them, she wouldn’t.

This is hard to words right, but she’s kinda like a person would be in a huge plain, like she’s still like. one person in one place. She can move around really quickly, so they can’t catch and isolate her, but she is still… I dunno, small? Not everywhere? She COULD go anywhere, but there’s no particular place to go, so she stayed where she was.

Until the girl left and 0-2 didn’t still want to be stuck with a bunch of annoying old dudes (and dudettes I guess?) so she moved onto the girl’s phone, helped with the techy bits of their escape aaaaaaand then spent most of the subsequent adventure complaining and competing against a will-o-the-wisp for “tiny group mascot character.” (She knows too much about tropes. XD)

Unfortunately, I still haven’t figured out what’ll happen to her after that adventure, since by then, she’s grown past the point of EVER going back to the lab, but also [spoilers] so she’s left feeling lost and alone without anywhere to go. Again, she COULD go anywhere, but…where?

Now for some random stuff!

She has access to the entire internet, which allows her to seem really smart. Back at the lab, she had basically anything a computer program could need to run super well and retain all kinds of info. After moving to the phone though, she, obviously, loses all that stuff and is limited to the phone’s resources. (Tho she can store info on the internet. Which she actually needs to run at that point, since the phone does not have enough memory to allow her to be awake. (The engineers had invented a phone-like device that could do all that, but lil girl did not have access to it.)

You have to have like, a compass right there on your map thing or 0-2 will get very confused about which direction you’re facing and which way is which.

Also she gets left and right mixed up a lot.

She does that thing with your hands where you hold out your thumb and first finger to see which hand makes an L. (for left)

The will-o-the-wisp is also super bad at directions, so she’s determined to be better at it than her and thus be more essential to the group. She frequently points out will-o-the-wisps are supposed to be good at guiding people…even though she should definitely be able to read a map and know which direction is which given all the info she has at her fingertips.

Jokes that she lives in the recycle bin since her programmers tried to delete her. This turns into a somewhat morbid sense of humor that she is completely unaware is morbid.

While she could just look up a word’s meaning on the internet, if you use one she doesn’t know, she’ll just ask you to explain it. She could actually just add the dictionary to her stash of knowledge and know all the words. She doesn’t because she thinks people trying to define words to her is funny.

She really, REALLY loves glitch effects and leans heavily into the virus thing. She thinks it’s cool.

She also really likes the look of circuit boards. (which is what her design is based on.) Someone once pointed out her liking computer parts is like a person liking to look at their organs. This contributed greatly to her morbid sense of humor.

Sometimes she’ll play mmorpgs and freak people out by causing problems.

If someone is struggling with part of a game, she’ll offer to help. If you refuse and can’t beat it before her patience runs out, she’ll help you anyway.

Loves making annoying pop-ups. Hates when they happen to her.
