Sorry for not posting much now I try to give myself a lil rest in the new year before the work x) But anyways here’re some messy sketches for PJO x Heroes of Olympus Voltron AU that my soulmate came up with recently. I try to do more traditional stuff so my sketchbooks won’t be as empty as they are now xD Nevermind the roughness of these, I made the most of them straight with a pen without sketches.

I would honestly like to know more about Garrison and the training faculty.

I really like how the show starts, with the simulator and the ship going down. I thought that was a really good start to the show, because it shows you what the training is like and how much pressure is on these young men and women.

Why do so many people want to train to be pilots or engineers or a communications officer? I get the communications officer and engineer, but what is a pilot in that universe?

I know that when Lance and Keith find Shiro, they say that they’ve always looked up to him. I’m starting to wonder if he’s just a local hero, or whether people all over know him as a great pilot.

In real life, you have your town hero’s, like the commanding officer of the local police or fire station. So is Shiro just a hero to the trainees in Garrison? Or is a hero all around.

From what I’ve gathered, they’ve never had to save the universe before. There was never any known threat before the mission Commander Holt, Matt and Shiro went on, so how could he be an all around hero?

He is obviously an inspiration and an idol to most trainees, but maybe that’s just because he trained and worked in Garrison. Maybe his picture got hung up on the wall, like the employee of the month, or his case, pilot of the month.

Over all, every member of the team seems to look up to Shiro. A lot of people joke that he’s like a father figure to them or their “space dad”, and I think that it might vaguely be true.

Keep in mind, Keith is 18, Lance and Hunk are 17 and Pidge is a mere 15. They left they’re family’s behind to go save the universe, and probably didn’t see them for months prior considering the dormitory in Garrison. At the end of the day they’re still kids, and Shiro is the only one that they’re familiar with and know they can trust. I think that also puts a lot of pressure on Shiro, because he always has to act as if everything is okay.

Honestly, there’s a lot of pressure put on all the team. They didn’t sign up for what they got. They expected pilot training or communications training or engineering training and that’s it. Not for the whole universe to depend on them.

Keith, in general, had a lot of pressure put on him from the start. To start off, he was be himself. He had no team and lived in the middle of nowhere, trying to find out where Shiro was.

Overall, I think that one of the reasons the paladins are still in the team, is Shiro. He convinced Pidge to stay, even when she was dead set on leaving. He deserves a lot more credit and appreciation.

Coran, I think, does a lot for the team too. He nearly runs the castle be himself. Of course Princess Allura helps too, but he’s mostly the voice of reason. Before Hunk, he used to cook, and before the paladins knew how to connect their minds and train properly, he trained them.

I really love this show a lot, and I have a lot of opinions on it, so let me know if you want my opinion on something in particular. I might do a post about Galra tech, because I’m actually really interested in that.

Voltron: Next Generation

Voltron season 4 predictions

Pidge suspects that the Shiro with them is not the real Shiro and a fight broke out between Pidge and Keith because “That’s not Shiro!” and Keith gets angry at her because he lost Shiro before and now that he found him again he’s not going to lose Shiro anymore and retorted back at Pidge “ Just because you lost your brother doesn’t mean you can take it out on Shiro!”

Pidge was taken aback by that statement and she goes rogue afterwards, proceeding to leave the group with her lion and tries to prove that she was right on her own (That is not the real Shiro. I will find both Matt AND Shiro). Everyone else probably sided with Keith, with Hunk being torn between two.

I suspect that the tension between Keith and Pidge, although resolved, from season 1 will have a part 2 in season 4 (since in season 1 Pidge was inclined to finding her family and Keith was more to forming Voltron. Both were opposites) and in season 4 they may be in another disagreement on the case of clone Shiro.

Keith and Pidge:

They send each other music they think they might like!

Keith helps Pidge learn how to fight better and use her size as an advantage in combat.

Keith is the only person Pidge can tolerate when she’s on her period because he sits with her and doesn’t talk.

They both love their pizzas extra cheesy and soaked in grease.

Pidge likes saying things to freak him out like “Dude, if you marry Allura you’re gonna be, like, king of the Alteans. Good luck with that.” Keith tells her to shut up... and then he doesn’t sleep for five days.

PIDGE HELPS KEITH TRACK DOWN HIS MOTHER BECAUSE SHE GETS IT.

Keith looks at Gunther. “...what’s wrong with your dog’s face?” Pidge snaps back “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOUR FACE?!?!?!?!”

Shiro and Pidge:

Pidge is the only person who can tell when Shiro is drunk.

They have this uncanny ability to understand each other that only gets better with time. After a few years they can have entire conversations with glances and minor changes in facial expressions.

Pidge when she finds out Keith is part galra pulls a matt. She walks over to him and starts talking about traditions she remembers from her time. Before the war. Her brother was the paladin for red after all and was friends with zarkon befor he betrayed matt pidge tries her damnest to make Keith feel welcome to her home since she likes him he's her snarky partner in crime. He reminds her what it's like to have a sibling.

Leader! Lance has moments where he doesn't think he fits and he and pidge have a heart to heart and she confides how she's scared. How she says its was supposed to be matts job to help the paladins not hers.

She and hunk bond over her teaching him altaen and how they both loss important people. And fear losing them again.

Shiro is really bad flirt okay. He's dorky and says really cheesy shit but the pidge is alien so she doesn't understand. Shiro trys to teach pidge Japanese after she finds his writing with notes. ( I don't know what he's writing okay maybe letters to home? )

Allura and pidge really dislike each other at first. They have different views. Pidge while kind is to silly and snarky for allura's taste. Until she stumbles upon pidge talking to hallow matt. She hears pidge break down. Hears her at her weakest moment As she calls out for her older brother. And allura tries to make amends with leads to them shearing stories about family.

Pidge bonds with lotor after she asks about modern galra traditions. And although the end of altean traditions and their differences

"Deck have a program Gladiator, which with we can fight". 

"Sounds good", - shrugged Shiro. 

It is still early so they can fight without others. And Keith just stay with opened mouth because Shiro and Pidge together could defeat gladiator at the eight level. When Allura told and showed they gladiator, she warning to don't fight at level higher sixth, because even better fighters couldn't always defeat at this levels. 

"Nine?" - Asked Pidge with hard breaths. 

"No, it's enough for us", - said Shiro. - "Keith, want with us?"

"What the fuck!" - Pidge, who almost fell down on floor when gladiators turn off, jumped up and looked at princess with anger. 

"Keith, I warned you don't get levels higher six…" 

"Just stop it and scram doing your princess stuff". 

"Pidge", - said Shiro with small disapproval. 

"But…" 

"Pidge". 

"Fine, sorry. What you want?" - Shiro exchanged glances with Matt, and two of they hide chuckles in palms - Katie is Katie even if she call herself as Pidge, and something in her no change. 

"I think", - said Allura after few moments of silent, - "you need to fight in group as paladins. And maybe do another trainings which help to you build Voltron", - Allura and Matt looked at each other and then Matt said: 

"I think, Pidge must join with us". 

"I'm not a paladin", - sniffed Pidge. 

"But you a good fighter", - Matt smile brightly at her and she sighed: 

"Okay".
