McDuck Family Members Most Likely to Start Sh*t at Thanksgiving Dinner
Tumblr media
Ah Thanksgiving. The holiday celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November (in America that is), one with food, family, and celebrating what we’re thankful for! (Wanna feel bad? Learn about the holiday’s origins!)
And no family is quite as big as the found family from DuckTales; so arguments are bound to happen at a dinner table filled with so many zany characters with interesting pasts and quirks. Let’s honor those who would throw the first punch at a family dinner, shall we?
Bentina Beakley
Tumblr media
I wanna cut Beakley some slack. She most likely had a long day before dinner even started what with all the preparations she did for dinner. Not just cooking for 20+ family members plus other side/recurring characters but also the cleaning and presentation
But let’s face it. This woman can be so condescending at times. And judgmental. You just know if someone is showing up to dinner wearing jeans and sweater she’d have something to say about it. And she strikes me as someone who would slam the dishes while cleaning them only for someone to say, “Hey Beakley do you need help with the dishes?” and then she’d be like “No. It’s fine. I got them”
But it’s not fine. Go help her with the dishes. She deserves a break
Dewey Duck
Tumblr media
When I was first thinking about this list I originally thought “No way any of the triplets would start anything on Thanksgiving” Huey is a good boy and Louie would definitely take it easy on a day where you’re legally allowed to sit around, be lazy, and eat food. But then I remembered Dewey and how much of a diva he can be
We know Dewey is an entertainer and with everyone coming to dinner, he has a huge “captive” audience that he can perform for. Whether it be an original Thanksgiving song, a one man Dewey show about the first Thanksgiving, a sonnet about a bonnet, or a very special Thanksgiving episode of Dewey Dew-Night; that kid will want all the attention in him. And the very second the spotlight is taken off, oh boy…
Gladstone Gander
Tumblr media
Look at this prick. Don’t you wanna slap his face!?!Anyway I love Gladstone Gander, but he’s the kind of family member that just would go on and on about himself and bring every conversation back to him again and how great his life is
That’s great Gladstone. Happy for you, the rest of us have to pay for our sushi but cool. Glad your good luck is really paying off, jerk
But honestly. It’s his tone. It’s the kind of tone that gives off that he knows he’s starting shit but won’t admit it
Goldie O’Gilt
Tumblr media
I mean, it’s Goldie. What else can I say?
Gandra Dee
Tumblr media
Oh man. There’s so many different ways controversy would start with this morally gray ex-FOWL agent and I’m here for it. Let’s face it, out of all the characters present, Gandra Dee would most likely be the one to bring up the holiday’s horrible origins. If anyone is making it their duty to make a rich white family uncomfortable on Thanksgiving, it’s Gandra Dee
She’d get political and even directly ask Scrooge who exactly he voted for in the past two Presidential elections (he claims to be progressive, but he’s still the richest duck in the world. Just how many tax cuts is this man getting to keep that status?)
Oh and what about the treatment of her overwork and underpaid boyfriend? Why is he still working in the bathroom?
Oddly enough, I can see her and Scrooge bonding over a mutual disdain for Gladstone Gander. What a prick
Kit Cloudkicker
Tumblr media
It’s not that exactly what Kit does that’ll start a fight, but what he doesn’t do.
Kit is the kinda guy that was supposed to bring a dessert but totally forgot to pick something up from the bakery so instead he’s stopping at the gas station on the way to dinner to pick up some Twinkies
Kit is the kinda guy that would “take a walk” before dinner and not do anything to hide the scent and now all the kids are wondering how a skunk got inside
Gyro Gearloose
Tumblr media
It’s Gyro. Something is bound to piss him off at some point
Doofus Drake
Tumblr media
I am so tired of the fandom not including Doofus in this found family (Louie and him made up and are friends now and BOYD is his brother, sorry it’s canon) so he’s here on the list
But he’s still a new addition to this family. And a weirdo and a rich brat with a lot of issues that someone should seriously help him with. He’s gonna make everyone uncomfortable. Is it intentional? Or is he just being Doofus? Who knows
What I do know is this, don’t eat the dish he brought.
Della, Donald, and Scrooge!
Tumblr media
The original three!
These three are responsible for splitting up the family in the first place so it’s no surprise that they’re number one on this list!!
Yes they’ve squashed their beef with one another and moved past the Spear of Selene, but they are still themselves
The ones most likely to start shit over the dumbest things
These three are going to be bickering over who should carve the turkey. And the argument will be so loud and hectic that no one will question why a bunch of birds are eating a turkey
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this list. It wasn’t meant to slander any characters, just did it for fun. Happy Thursday everyone.

AppleHuskerDust Week (Day 3: Cosplay)
Angel was finishing his makeup when he heard the lip-smacking on the beat to the sound of a familiar theme song.
“Life is like a hurricane~” Lucifer sang gleefully as he danced around Angel, “here in~ Duckberg~!”
“Luci sweetie, I still need to finish my makeup!” Angel said as he was putting in the eyelash extensions.
Angel was cosplaying as Daisy Duck.
Lucifer was cosplaying as Donald Duck.
And Husk…
“Hey is this really necessary?” The chimera cat asked as he walked in, holding a baby wearing a red shirt and a matching red cap. “I mean, I know I agreed to do this, but now I look kinda silly.”
“Aww Husk you look awesome! Like a million bucks!” Lucifer said, gushing at Husk’s costume.
Husk was dressed as Scrooge McDuck, only wearing a blue jacket and white pants.
“And look at our wittle Noir dressed like Dewey!” Angel gushed.
“That’s Huey!” Lucifer corrected. Ever since they got cable and streaming services, Lucifer has become obsessed with DuckTales and he was more knowledgeable about that than anything else at the moment. “Huey is the triplet that wears red! Dewey is the one who wears blue! And Louie is the one that wears green!”
Angel only smiled, “Of course sweetheart, now let’s make sure our little rugrats are dolled up before the convention!”
When Lucifer began dating Angel and Husk, they were already an established couple and had triplets. Noir, the black-spider baby, was the oldest of the triplets.
Angel walked over and saw the two babies dressed. Vegas, the white-furred kitten of the triplets, was wearing a blue shirt and matching cap, meaning he was cosplaying as“Dewey.”
Husk walked over to the other crib and peered down at the baby girl inside. Star was a black-furred kitten with pink wings similar to Husk, which made sense because he was her Dad. “How’s my little shooting Star today?” He asked as he picked up the baby girl wearing a green shirt and matching hat, meaning she was cosplaying as “Louie.”
Lucifer strode over and said, “I can take her! I think Noir wants his Daddy,” he said as they looked over and saw the spider baby reaching four of his six arms to Husk.
Husk handed Star to Lucifer and walked over, “here. I can take him,” he said.
Angel passed Noir to Husk, and the man cradled his son. “What’s wrong little man?”
The baby merely began waving his arms in excitement.
Angel cradled Vegas in his arm, “everyone ready?”
“I’m good!” Lucifer beamed.
“Yeah I’m good. Let’s get going,” Husk said.
Angel made sure to grab the diaper bags and soon they were off to Earth-Con 2024: The Convention where demons who still loved pop-culture things on Earth could meet up and socialize.

DuckTales THEORY: Team Who?
Tumblr media
Hello Duckblr! We know that in DuckTales 2017, Huey, Dewey and Webby have their own definite cliques, but what if this idea were to extend to each of the six Duck children in hypothetical future seasons?
TLDR: If DuckTales kept going on, we would have seen more Louie/Doofus/Goldie episodes. May's interrogative side can blend her in with the Rescue Rangers.
Team Science (Huey)
Huey's group of allies usually revolves around working on scientific breakthroughs and his hero, Gizmoduck. Huey stories would usually involve these specific characters:
Gyro Gearloose
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Gizmoduck)
Manny
BOYD
Gandra Dee
Huey's enemy is usually Mark Beaks, a businessman who makes his living off dumb and/or stolen ideas, which is totally against his moral code. If executed better, Dr. Akita could make a better contender.
Team Action (Dewey)
Dewey's group of allies usually revolves around getting into dangerous situations, definitely not due to the influence of Launchpad or his very own mother, Della. Dewey stories would usually involve these specific protagonists:
Launchpad McQuack
Della Duck
Drake Mallard (DW)
Gosalyn Waddlemeyer (an extension of DW)
Kit and Molly
Dewey's enemy is usually Don Karnage, a deranged air pilot who will go to any lengths to gain vengeance on him. Falcon Graves has also appeared in Dewey stories, a serious contender for his showboating.
Team Scheme (Louie)
Despite being shown to be a charmer in the show, Louie falls flat when it comes to making secure friends, especially when it's in his nature that he is the 'evil triplet' of the Duck boys. However, the cunning antihero, Goldie O'Gilt is quite fond of him. Louie stories would definitely involve these specific characters:
Goldie O'Gilt
Doofus Drake
Ottoman Brothers (placeholder because they're always in the background of Louie stories)
Although Louie completely destroyed Glomgold in S2, I'd love to see Rockerduck as his enemy, as the Wild West Swindler has a more interesting way to battle - with his words, instead of his fists.
Team Magic (Webby/April)
Webby's group of allies usually revolves around trying to fix the curses laid out from Scrooge's adventures, or his most powerful enemy, Magica De Spell. Webby stories would usually involve these specific characters:
Lena Sabrewing
Violet Sabrewing
Blackarts Beagle (redemption arc??)
Phantom Blot and Pepper (maybe they're forced to team-up??)
Morgana (placeholder because they don't have a grown-up hero)
Webby and Lena's enemy is usually Magica De Spell, a witch who wants to use her powers to abuse and take advantage of others, completely opposite to how Webby wants to play.
Team Mystery (May)
Despite the wishes of her current guardian, Donald Duck, I could see May get into contact with her ilk, also experimented on by FOWL - no other than the Rescue Rangers themselves!
Chip and Dale
Gadget Hackwrench
Monterey Jack
Zipper
...and maybe Detective Gokart from the comics (a loser that May could help to become a better person)
Perhaps the Rescue Rangers have found a larger FOWL experiment gone rogue and they need a heroine around their size to help bring the experiment to justice.
Team ??? (June)
Team Sports? Team Wellbeing? Team Theatre? Team Adorable? It seems that poor June is the only one I can't think of for a team.
By process of elimination, the only frequent group of protagonists without a child character to support them are the gods/goddesses of Ithaquack.
Bum Bum Ghigno, an everyday person from the comics might help her appreciate the normal and might draw parallels between the clone twins and his relationship with his brother.
I'd love to put the Idle Hour Club from Donald's first ever cartoon somewhere, but those stories wouldn't be fun.

Donald and Daisy with their kids (Huey, Dewey and Louie and April, May and June Duck) celebrate Easter - Disneyland Easter Celebration and Easter Costumes - Happy Birthday to Huey, Dewey and Louie - Duck comics and Duckverse
Happy Easter to everyone and if someone asks me, I know that it has passed, but Easter is not celebrated only on one day, but depending on the calendar it can be celebrated twice (Gregorian and Julian calendar), and it is usually celebrated when Jewish Passover and Muslim Ramadan Eid in progress.
As you know, Easter is celebrated because on that day Jesus Christ, after the third day since he died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead and proved that there is life after death, only faith is needed for that (whoever believes, let someone believe) and most Christians celebrate it, although it depends on the calendar when exactly it is celebrated. And usually the symbols are decorated colored eggs (especially red), chicks hatching from eggs, also ducks, as well as Easter bunnies that bring gifts for good children. I'm not a fan of Disneyland, nor am I a fanatic, although Disneyland in Tokyo in Japan makes good events, including for Easter when the mascots dress up in Easter costumes.
Yes, as inspired by the images from Disneyland Tokyo I drew Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck (Donald's nephews) as well as April, May and June Duck (Daisy's nieces-the Dutch comic version of Donald Duck) in Easter costumes, with the fact that I added costumes for Daisy's nieces in my own way. I did a redraw from an actual representation of the triplets mascots from Disneyland holding the Easter eggs they made and carrying them over their heads. Unless they break it. Just like their uncle Donald, Daisy and her nieces also lay eggs, as well as keep the chicks that hatched from the eggs, as well as the Easter bunny. I drew mostly in my own way.
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this, just please don't copy my same ideas without mentioning me! Thank you! Also, happy birthday to Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, who celebrate on April 15th! Happy birthday to them, the best trio! And happy Easter to everyone!
And yes, this is a gift for my friend, dear @boingodigitalart , who is a Disneyland fan and I hope you like this. Happy late Easter!

So, I just finished watching Ducktales 2017. What a gem! But of course my brain did its thing and now I’m imagining all possible post-canon fanfics.
Specifically all the potential Percy Jackson crossovers! Or, should we say Percy “Quackson”?
My main concept is linked to a mystery the characters never address. Which is quite surprising if you think about it. Especially since Webby has dedicated most of her young life to mapping out the Duck’s entire family tree. But Huey Dewey and Louie wanted desperately to know what happened to their mom, yet they’ve never expressed any interest in who their father is.
Now that doesn’t have to be all that weird. I imagine the boys grew up not knowing much about their mom aside from little nuggets Donald would tell them, like; “oh your mother loved this dish” or “your mother actually wrote this lullaby I’ve always been singing to you”. Just enough for them to be curious about her, but they probably realized it made their uncle sad to think about her, effectively stopping them from asking about her. (Though I imagine Donald would have answered many of their questions about Della without hesitation, like how she was as a person.)
When it comes to their father, Donald might not actually know who their father is. They might be the result of a one night stand? I’d say it’s actually quite likely since Della never mentions an ex or anything about her love life for that matter. Maybe Donald never asked in case Della herself didn’t know? It does seem like she was always the wild child of the two. That’s all fine, but it means Donald had no way of dropping lore about him in the same way he probably did about their mom. Actually, forget what I said earlier. Donald did not know who their father was. Had he known, he would have made sure the boys knew him. Because Donald is a good parent.
That said, the boys knew nothing about their dad. But they didn’t lack a father figure. Paired with the previously mentioned point, it makes perfect sense why the boys would not feel the need to know about their father. Unlike with their mother, they never had to feel like they were missing out on having a dad. Donald filled that role. He never calls himself their dad, but he does refer to them as his boys (I’m actually sure Daisy was mentally preparing herself to having to be a stepmother in those vents). And the boys clearly admires him and look up to him, the season one finale clearly shows it. Almost to the point of rubbing it in our faces.😅
So even if the boys were to find out who their father is, it might now be that big of a deal to them.
Huey, Dewey or Louie: Oh, okay, cool. Uncle Donald is still our main father figure, so, yeah, that role’s been filled. Nice meeting you, though.
That said, WE can still be curious though.
And the absence of any clues whatsoever practically gives us free rein to speculate!
Now since I talked about a Percy Jackson crossover, and I’m writing it on this side blog, you probably saw where this was headed.
I suggest that Huey Dewey and Louie are demigods!
Both the Greek and Norse pantheon are real in the Ducktales universe. (Though the liberties taken with the portrayal of Norse mythology are almost offensive in my opinion. Jörmungand is the enemy of the warriors in Valhalla, dam it! He’d never be seen as the underdog man of the people there!) And though we only ever see three Greek gods, we do know many other gods took a liking to the ducks. That’s what Zeus was so jealous of Scrooge for, after all. So it’d be pretty safe to assume that if the boys are demigods, they’re Greek.
Now in this adaptation, the triplets have distinctly different personalities, as opposed to earlier adaptations. That might lead to a possibility of them having different gods as fathers. There are examples of twins with different fathers in mythology. And it might feel a bit easier to match each triplet with his own godly parent.
But… I know a candidate who would fit as the father of all three, and, who I can definitely see falling in Love with Della Duck.
My friends, I suggest, the father of Huey, Dewey and Louie is none other than…
Hermes, Messenger of the gods!
Hermes is also a trickster figure and the patron god of travelers, thieves and anyone who uses the roads really. He isn’t picky about who he sponsors.
Apollo also drops hints about his personality in ToA. That he is a bit adventurous and a wild child.
You can’t tell me Hermes and Della wouldn’t be somewhat each other’s type. They could definitely be seeing each other at least for long enough to create a child, or three.
Additional to being a trickster and a messenger, Hermes is also a god of commerce. These aspects could very well be seen in Louie, who sees all the angles, defeats his opponents by out witting them, and strives to be as rich and successful as his Uncle Scrooge. Though preferably with less hard work and more witty poker strategies.
As previously mentioned, both Hermes and Della are adventurous and the wild child of their respective sibling groups. It should therefore not be a surprise that at least one of their children would be the same. Dewey is the adventurous triplet, and seems to have decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and become a pilot. He could have gotten his wild attitude from both of his parents, or just one. He is also a bit of a theater kid. He loves to dance and, sort of, has his own talk show. That’s not a clear link to Hermes, but considering he invented two instruments as an infant, one of which became the characteristic lyre his brother uses to play, and is sometimes considered as a minor poetry god besides Apollo, I still think Dewey could have gotten the theatre side from Hermes.
Huey is not as easy. Hermes is neither the god of wisdom nor knowledge. Those domains falls to Athena and Apollo respectively. And Huey’s most prominent character trait is his per suit of knowledge. But I look at his hobbies. He functions as a sort of unofficial sidekick for Gizmoduck. Hermes often act as a travel companion for Zeus when he wanders the earth, and as the messenger of the gods he often assist other gods. Assisting others with tough situations is something all triplets do throughout the series. Also Huey is a junior Woodchuck. Don’t you think the god of travelers would encourage you to learn more about survival in the wild? Hermes is also a god of linguistics and in some cases acts as a mediator between other gods, and can sometimes choose not to fight an opponent he’s expected to fight, showing some levelheaded behavior and certain intelligence, which could be where Huey could get his brains.
But aside from Della and the triplets’ personalities, there’s another piece of evidence. Because we know of at least one instance where one of the triplets has interacted with Hermes.
In season 2 episode 11, Dewey has stolen Hermes’ winged shoes.
Tumblr media
But Hermes is the god of thieves, remember? Do you really think he wouldn’t notice a kid was about to steal his stuff?
No way.
It’s my theory that Hermes has either known from the start that he and Della had triplets, or he saw the kids that were obviously Della’s during one of their trips to Ithaquack (is that how it’s spelled?) and simply but two and two together. So when one of them tried to take his shoes, he simply figured he’d let his son have some fun with them. The next time we see Dewey, he no longer has the shoes but he’s completely fine, no harm done.
I imagine Hermes might have appeared off camera and been like; “Hey, I’m glad you had fun with the shoes, but we shouldn’t risk your life by angering Zeus. I’ll take them back and next time you can ask and I’ll supervise.”
I don’t think he’d have told Dewey who he was to him, because a god for a father would become a big deal to the triplets once they found out. And Dewey would probably not repeat the same mistake again by withholding information about their parentage.
So that’s my headcanon. Huey Dewey and Louie are demigod sons of Hermes.
A post-canon crossover fic could therefore feature a satyr taking the boys to Camp Half Blood and learn sword fighting from “Percy Quackson”. How their relationship with their father would then look like once they’re claimed could be up for interpretation. Personally, I’d like to think that between Percy’s trust that gods can change for the better if they want to, and Apollo doing exactly that, Hermes is inspired to become a more present parent to his kids at camp. So if you want to be wholesome, Hermes basically becomes part of the McDuck family through his sons.
But hey, that’s just a theory!
Feel free to share your thoughts about this!🤗

Ok, so my anxiety really did not allow me to get this out earlier lol. Anyway:
TS songs as Ducktales Characters, part III: Webby Vanderquack
Tumblr media
(I would like to apologize beforehand for the poor redaction you're about to read, neither google translation nor my brain was having it)
If I had to explain Webby's character, I would sum it up with the concept of belonging. Having grown up isolated from the world, only with her granny, Webby needs connection with someone. She needs to belong or connect so much that she becomes obsessed with every detail of the life of the only person she knows, Uncle Scrooge, in the hopes she finds her place in the McDuck family. But, even when she starts to become family, she envies the triplets' relationship for she cannot be part of such intimate bond. She then clings to Lena, the only relationship she formed on her own.
Webby also gives the impression that her desire for an intimate relationship is the reason she supports Dewey despite not agreeing with keeping the investigation about Della hidden: it is something that unites them both in an exclusive way. It would also help her even more to be part of the family: if she gets to be just like Scrooge, then she MUST belong to his family. All for at the end being cruelly reminded that she'll never be family by blood, and, even if she was, family relationships are not unbreakable (speaking exclusively from her point of view at the end of Last Crash). This is why she needs to bring the family together at the end of season 1: she has done so much to form a relationship with the family, but if the family isn't together then she doesn't belong anywhere.
On a separate point, it is this sense of belonging that she has with the family that leads her to give so much importance to her friends and gives them her complete trust. It is friendship that allows her to have a family and therefore makes no difference between family ties and friendships. Hence her blind attachment to Lena.
Season 2, although Webby doesn't have an active role, is consistent with the former idea in Golden Armory: again she needs to prove herself as an equal to the new family member to feel validated. However, after Last Crash she is never again pushed away or questioned as family and her belonging is reinforced again and again, as seen in Found Lamp, where Uncle Scrooge trusts her with an essential part of the adventure, the same goes for Rumble for Ragnarok.
I don't remember much (and I don't have anywhere to rewatch the series at the moment) about her role in season 3 outside the plot twist that I so dislike (and that in my opinion ruins the message of found family and makes her entire development seem pointless), but I do remember that her fear of abandonment is consistent for Fight for Castle McDuck.
Anyway, all this to say that the Taylor Swift song that would be Webby's anthem, in my opinion, would be The Outside.
I've seen other people relate her to Seven or You're on your own, Kid, and although Seven agrees with the idea of longing childhood innocence once it's lost by the maturity that comes with experience (as seen in Harp of Mervana), the lyrics of The Outside expand the idea of loneliness and feeling like you don't belong anywhere, as well as learning to observe people to look for ways to connect. The song was written about going to school and meeting all these new people and realizing that you won't connect with them and will end up isolated, no matter how much you can offer to a friendship. Just as Webby would never be blood related to the Duck/McDuck family, even though she began to relate to them at the same time they reconnected and her fear of the family pushing her aside eventually.
"The Outside"
youtube
So how can I ever try to be better? Nobody ever lets me in. And I can still see you, this ain't the best view: on the outside, lookin' in. I've been a lot of lonely places; I've never been on the outside.
Thank you for reading. Next one should be Huey, but who knows what will come out of that (ゝω・)ノ

So, Ducktales x Cult of the Lamb, am I right?
Ok it's not actually a Ducktales x Cult of the Lamb au, it's more of a weird Mickey and friends Cult of the Lamb au, but it mostly focuses on the duck triplets.
(Huey, Dewey, and Louie)
I, sadly, don't have a whole lot of art for this au yet mostly cause i'm still figuring out how to draw all the characters, so bare with me cause this is gonna be a long text post until I have art I can/am willing to share.
TLDR;
Cult of the Lamb au but make it Ducktales/Mickey and friends because i've been watching Ducktales and recently got back into Cult of the Lamb again. I'll mostly be focusing on Louie for this au sense I have the best grasp on his character as of right now, but others will show up.
Sense Louie is the main focus, Louie with be the one taking on the role of The Lamb for this au, meaning he will bare the crown.
(But that doesn't mean I haven't thought about the "what if" of if Huey or Dewey got it instead.)
Cult of the Duck
So, before I really get to this I need to explain one very important detail:
All the ducks? Yea, they're dead. All expect Louie of course. (or one of the other triplets but we'll get to that later). This, of course, means Donald, Della, Scrooge, his brothers, and frankly and other duck within the series are, well, gone.
Like the lamb, Louie as the last of his kind. There are no other ducks. He has no one to protect him, and no one to protect. He is completely and utterly alone.
So when he's sent to be sacrificed in order to prevent the "prophecy", there was not much he could do. Sure, it was absolutely terrifying! No one wants to be sacrificed, and he was damn well sure that "prophecy" was bogus!
"Come closer, little duckling, for I still need you. I will grant you back your life, in return, I ask for a cult in my name. Do we have a deal?"
But as he looked up to the Bishops, gods amongst the people, those who always knew what was right, those who should not be questioned, as all he could do was bow his head and squeeze his eyes tight, hearing his heart beat agents his ribs as he prayed.
But when no pain had arrived, curiosity got the best of him as he opened his eyes and looked up. It was so bright.
Something beckoned him forward, and he followed. A voice gently assured to him as he made his way forward.
And with new found life, Louie escapes with the help of one of Oswald's children, a previous vessel to The One Who Waits.
And the story continues as per usual from there with one of Oswald's kids taking the place of Ratau (at least until I think of someone better). The first follower to be saved by Louie would be Max, who after this point is pretty darn loyal.
Louie, at first, is pretty upset about having to work and build the cult in the first place. He wasn't used to doing so much hard work, nor did he enjoy it very much. But, it was better then basically every thing else he'd been through, so he'd learn to tolerate it.
After some time of going on crusades (which, frankly, he hates more), he'd get a pretty good flow going between growing the cult and relaxation. He'd upgrade quickly, recruit (or as he'd call it; "Sweet talk") people, and find ways to make it so everyone could care for themselves so he'd have more time to relax.
Occasionally he'd go on crusades, but only if he absolutely needed to. (Food, supplies, gold, stuff like that.) He'd avoid the Bishops as long as he physically could, only caving when he didn't have a choice but to face them.
Sure, it be a heavy learning curve at first (learning to be selfless and what not for the sake of the cult), but eventually he'd be a pretty decent leader. His favorite days are when the whole cult (also known as his "community") would take one big break and not work at all, but he also enjoyed the days where everyone would hand him gold and/or do all the work for him. Because man does he hate having to do hard work. And yes, he's still the greedy, money loving guy we all know and love.
He'd often have Max be the one looking over the "community" when ever he leaves. Max would also probably be the tax collector and such considering he was the first follower and is the most loyal. Him and Max are close.
I can also see Louie marring many people, for tax purposes of course.
But what about the other 2? What would happen if they were given the crown instead?
Well, the sacrifice process may as well go the same. Oswald kid still takes Ratau place, Max still being the first follower and being loyal beyond belief, but that's likely where the similarities would end.
Dewey, being the prideful and adventures guy he is, would absolutely LOVE crusades. Sure, he'd love his cult and would enjoy being around them, but he would be nowhere NEAR where Louie would be in growth in the same time frame. He'd spend far to much time doing crusades and fighting monsters or even the bishops. Tbh I can see him taking out the most amount of bishops in the shortest amount of time out of all his brothers (with Louie taking the longest).
He'd probably come back to a hungry, angry followers because he'd be gone so long thanks to his crusades, which would inevitably lead to a LOT of damage control after. Would he ever learn? Probably not.
That's basically all I got for now, still a lot of stuff to work through and think about, but it's a neat idea that's been plaguing my mind for the past few days.
Huey on the other hand would spend an equal amount of time on crusades and with his cult. He'd most likely have everything under control from the get go. Plus, he now has a healthy way of letting out "The Duke of Messes" via crusades. Occasionally he'd have to preform damage control, especially with any new stubborn followers, but for the most part everyone is happy and capable of functioning orderly with or without him (mostly due to his schedules). Let's be honest, he's just glad people are finally listening to him.
His cult would probably embrace nature to it's finest, tents and all. It would probably be more put together and more advance then Dewey in most regards, but not nearly as advanced as Louie.
In other words: Louie is basically running a really weird town, Huey is running a camp, and Dewey is uh- doing his best.

Tell me about your ducks.
(Duck Tales keeps coming up in conversations and I know nothing about it. Please educate me.)
oooooooo okay.
So anyways, because I’m uncultured I’ve only seen the reboot, so I’m sorry it that isn’t helpful. It’s my silly little comfort show though. Basically, ducktales is a show about ducks going on adventures and becoming a found family, even though most of them are related.
It all starts when Donald (who is father of the year btw.) needs someone to babysit the color coded triplets (Huey, Dewey, and Louie). So, he drops them off at mcduck manor to meet Mr. Capitalism man (Scrooge) Now, Scrooge and Donald haven’t been talking for the last ten years. The reason why has to do with Donald’s twin sister Della and the spear of Selene, which is the on going mystery of season one. Scoots does not want to deal with three kids, so he puts them in a room with only marbles for entertainment. They sneak out and are captured by my blorbo Webby not Hatchetfield. Webby is a super fan of Scrooge and the rest of their family, and she lives in the mansion with her British grandmother Mrs. Beakley (she’s an ex spy btw) Anyways, the four of them go mess around with shit in the garage and accidentally awaken a dragon. Now, the kids and Scrooge gotta defeat it. A normal caretaker would be upset with them, but this is the push Mr. Capitalism needing to start liking kids again.
I’ve realized that was just an episode 1 summary, so if you wanna know about other characters or things that come up in other episodes, feel free to ask. Also, why does ducktales keep coming up in your conversations?

Hey guys, I'm obsessed with Ducktales so I'm making an AU for it
Tumblr media
We all know that Donald has anger issues and sees a therapist.
Well, what if a bit after the triplets are born and a while since Della has left there's an incident. He loses his tempor and one of the boys gets hurt, not badly, it's just a scratch, but he still feels horrible about it.
Donald is super anxious, so it's no surprise that he starts constantly worrying about accidentally hurting them again.
After talking to his therapist they decided that it would be best to send HDL to a foster family while maintaining guardianship until he's made more progress and can control his anger better.
They make arrangements, child services suggest trying to contact any relatives first.
While Donald insists that Scrooge is unfit to parent the boys, they call him anyway. Suprise suprise, he doesn't answer no matter how hard they try to talk to him. He's too busy pouring all his time into finding Della, ignoring anything else, he doesn't even find out about what's happening with his nephews.
Normally his close friend and housekeeper would answer these calls, but she has her hands so full with baby Webby (who's just shy of a year younger than HDL) that they go unnoticed.
Gladstone says that he would love to take them in but he's currently planning for a four year long expedition that includes traveling to casinos for gambling and drinking, not very kid friendly. He'd postpone, but the opportunity to visit some of the venues only opens once in a thousand years, and he is determined to win some big money in those legendary casinos. (hint hint, he gets trapped in one of them).
Feathery offers to take them, and child services denies due to the fact that he lives alone underwater. The conditions aren't safe for young children to grow up, but HDL will be allowed to visit once in a while if requested, as the facility itself is sound. He isn't willing to abandon his work on the edge of a breakthrough and move to a house above sea level.
So it's decided they will go to foster for a bit, Donald's only condition is that they don't get separated no matter what. He figures that even if something happens that they can't talk to him again, they'd always have each other. Everyone agrees to this and the paperwork is brought out.
Things are good for the first year, they go to this nice couple with an older kid, see their uncle on weekends, and start at public school. Donald's therapy is making progress, but he hasn't been able to hold down a job so the boys are to stay with the foster until he's financially stable.
Then Dewey gets into a fight. It wasn't his fault, really, but these older boys were picking on him so he punched them.
Louie tries to stay out of it, he's the smallest of the trio since he hatched last, and when one of the boys comes at him he uses his size to duck under them and run off. He goes to get a teacher.
Huey attempts to break it up at first, but after they push Dewey to the ground and try to hurt Louie, overprotective big brother loses his tempor.
He beats the bullies up, despite them being two years ahead. They aren't so injured they need medical attention but one of them hit their head and passed out, while the other two are bleeding and cowering against the wall when a teacher arrives.
HDL gets blamed for the incident, and they all get in trouble while the bullies get off. Despite Louie's protests, he's been marked down for cheating on a test and the school assumes he was part of it as well. Usually, they would just get detention, maybe a short suspension, however, one of the bullies just happens to be the son of a very influential school board member.
So the triplets end up expelled, after a lot of exaggeration over the incident and some crocodile tears from the bullies. They use Donald's anger issues against them, to prove that the boys are unstable. At this point they had only been in school a few months.
The school board talks to child services and recommends that the triplets are sent to homes or schools for troubled children. After half-ass assessing the boys, they ignore Donald's request and split them up.
Huey was able to play things down for himself, he's not a good liar but he's a goodie two shoes who managed to appeal to them. He stays with their original family for the time being and is moved to a different public school, while attending semi-regular therapy sessions for a bit.
Dewey is abrasive but hasn't been in trouble with the school before this. He tells them that the older boys started the fight, and while they don't entirely believe this story they go easy on him. They notice that he's very hyperactive, with love for adventure. Dewey is sent to Cape Suzette, where other foster/orphan children with a lot of energy have gone and seen promising results. They believe that being able to put his mind into more complicated things will calm his spirit. He bounces around the city a bit, and becomes friends with Kit who knew his mom from flight school (although they were never very close).
Louie gets it the worst, despite being the only one not involved in the fight. The bullies had claimed that he had been the one to start the whole thing, and the school board was very biased in their favour. Louie had previously managed to trick these three into giving him extra dessert at lunch, so this was their form of payback.
No matter how much he tried to explain that it wasn't true, the previous marks on his record for cheating made him out to be a bad kid. In actuality, he only tried to cheat because he was too lazy to do the work. He's a smart kid and he knew the answers, he could have passed just fine.
Thus, Louie ends up at a home for 'troubled boys'. He's one of the youngest, definitely the smallest, and way out of his element considering he was falsely accused.
The fight happened on Monday, the expulsion was finalized on Wednesday, and the boys were moved by Friday. On Saturday Donald is told that HDL got into a fight at school, and they believe his anger issues may have been a negative influence, so they want to pause the weekly visits for a little bit. Believing that they know best, and not having been told that the triplets were split up, Donald doesn't argue. He only asks if the boys were hurt at all, to which he gets a truthful "no, minus a few scratches".
AND THUS
THe boys have been separated, at an age where they would hardly rmbr once they grow up, and Donald has lost contact with them.
Do they manage to find each other and reunite once again? Do the triplets ever end up in a stable home? Does Scrooge get off his ass and become a parent figure to Webby? Will Donald attempt to contact his nephews again or become discouraged by everyone telling him he's unfit to be a parent?
We'll just have to wait and see.
I've been calling it the "finding family au" but I suppose you could also call it "split up au" as well.
This is the basic backstory, which I probably won't draw out, and we have a little more to go through until we get to the start of the actual story. I plan to make a mini comic for that little prelude, although it may take a bit to finish.
Send me asks about this and I will love u forever, I'm working on drawing designs for the triplets rn.
Yes, many more characters will be included. I have plans for team science, team heroes, team magic, May + June, and Goldie. If u have anyone else u wanna see let me know!

One more sample of part 8
So, I was waiting for my family and I said, let's write some more. I knew that I wanted something with the gang in Duckburg, and I always like to use the whole group. So, hockey will do.
And then, the story turned in a way I liked, but I wasn't really expecting. And so, here's a sample of Duck's Life part 8, Everyday Cronics. There're some elements of parts 5 and 6, but don't mind that.
Gos couldn't believe it. They had lost. The best hockey team she had assembled, and they lost in their League debut. How was it possible?
The girl was furious. The triplets had made too many mistakes, B.O.Y.D. wasn't enough to stop the rivals.
Maybe this wouldn't have happened if all the other kids hadn't quit the team. With the triplets being natural born adventurers and B.O.Y.D. having special abilities, they were the only ones who could keep up with the redhead's training pace. Everyone else accused her of being too intense and left the team.
Due to the lack of players, Violet, Lena and Webby joined the team. Violet was the one who played in the debut. Lena and Webby didn't enter, they weren't ready.
The dressing room was a tomb. Gos punched one of the lockers in frustration. Dewey tried to calm her down.
- Calm down Gos. It's not your fault. We'll do better in the next game.
- It's true, it's not my fault. It's Louie's.
- WHAT?!
The accused screamed immediately.
- Every time you had the puck, you passed it to Violet. What are you trying to do? Ingratiate yourself with her to get on good terms with Lena?
- Hey! - Lena complained.
- Every time I passed it to Violet it was because no one marked her! She tried to score every time! Damn, she scored our only goal! What else do you want!?
- I want you to pass it on to anyone other than Violet! I want you to play with me! I want you to stop thinking about Lena and focus in the game!
- That's it, I'm going to smack you down.
Lena walked up to Gosalyn, but Webby stepped in, stopping her. Gos tried to move, but Dewey stopped her. Violet tried to calm things down.
- Please, let's calm down. Gosalyn, I know that I don't have the level to be a starter on the team, but blaming your teammates and friends, I must add, is not going to make our situation better.
- Violet is right, - Huey intervened - there is no reason to get hysterical.
- Maybe you need a little hysteria. - Gos said, in an accusatory tone.
- What do you mean?
- What I mean is that our goalkeeper doesn't have a bit of emotion. Five goals they scored on you! And you didn't even shout!
- Did you want me to shout? Then I should have yelled at you for losing the puck so many times.
- What?
- It's true Gos. - B.O.Y.D. added - You lost several pucks, which led to three opposing goals.
Gos didn't know what to say.
- Please stop fighting. - Webby asked.
Gosalyn went to her locker and grabbed her bag, ready to leave.
- I hope you stop been such a jerk now.
Lena striked.
Gos dropped his bag and jumped at the sorceress. The fight didn't last long, as everyone else rushed to separate them. Gosalyn was out of her mind.
- I'm sick and tired of your attitude! Maybe if you tried harder in our trainings, you could stop been so useless!
-And maybe if you stopped being such an arrogant damn boss you would realize that I hate hockey!
Gos was speechless.
- That's right! I hate hockey! I only agree to play because you asked me to! But now I understand why you had no team or friends in St. Canard! It's because no one can stand you!
A dead silence filled the room.
Gosalyn took her bag and used the amulet Lena gave her to open a portal to her house. The girl was going to enter when she felt a hand on her.
Webby ran to stop Gos.
- Wait Gosalyn, let's talk about...
Webby stopped dead. When Gos turned around, everyone saw the big tears falling from her eyes.
The redhead broke free of her grip and tore the necklace with the amulet from her neck. Gos tossed it to Lena before entering the portal.
The kids got mad.

DuckTales (2017) Discussion Time!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let’s say one day Disney decided “Hey we should make a video game based off the 2017 reboot of DuckTales!” What type of video game would YOU want that DuckTales video game to be?
Feel free to be in-depth as you want! Or if you want answer along the lines of “Mario Kart but with ducks” that’s also acceptable! Feel free to respond or reblog with your own answers!
If you want my ideas, check below the break!
Aw. How sweet, you wanna hear my ideas
Game Idea 1: Platformer
Well I’m sure all the older fans of DuckTales or anyone who is familiar with retro gaming should already know that the ducks have had plenty of adventures in gaming: Including two NES platformers based of the OG DuckTales as well as a remastered version of the first game!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fun Fact! The remastered version is where the Gyro’s black licorice oxychew came from!
So I wouldn’t mind if we got a platformer starring the modern cast! Personally I’d love to play more than just Scrooge. The playable characters in my mind would be the main five: Scrooge, Webby, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Oh and instead of a 2D platformer, I think this should be a 3D platformer
Tumblr media
Donald has been in one of those before!
Like the NES game there will be different levels and you can select which one you want to go first! The world’s would be pretty big with certain areas only accessible to certain characters through their own respected skills
Game Idea 2: Fighting Game
DuckTales (2017) has the perfect cast of characters for a fighting game! They’re all adventurers that know how to fight! And they have their own distinct costumes, personalities, and fighting styles! Also can you imagine the different fighting stages?! That casino Gladstone got stuck in, Gyro’s lab, Darkwing’s lair, the Cloudslayer/Sunchaser (both the garage and on the plane), the dream world(s), the list goes on! Also Bradford in that armor from the finale in front of the The Solego Vortex would make for a GREAT final boss stage
Also besides the heroes I want the villains to be playable characters, this roster would be stacked! Also characters like Fenton and Drake can switch between their regular identities and their superhero identity
But most importantly, I want more character interactions! One thing I love in modern fighting games is their character specific dialogue between two fighters! It’s always fun and the characters from DuckTales would be perfect for that!
youtube
Yo Disney! If you need someone to come up with ideas for that, I’m your guy! I’m already coming up with some in my head
You know what? I want Huey, Dewey, and Louie as a team to count as one playable character kinda like how the Turtles are in Injustice. Same with May and June
Game Idea 3: RPG
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I admit I ain’t the biggest RPG guy, the ones I really played through are stuff like the Mario themed ones, Pokémon, and Kingdom Hearts but I really think the DuckTales world would be perfect for this kind of game
I actually talked about this idea with @tokuvivor awhile back. We kinda imagined a turn based RPG with timed hits and party members like you’d see in Super Mario RPG and the early Paper Mario games (also Mario & Luigi but just for timed hits)
Since DuckTales has such a huge cast we thought it’d be fun if in the game you could meet different characters throughout the game and have them join your party. We were thinking about having 3-5 members for the player’s party and the only requirement would be one of the main characters (one of the triplets, Webby, or Scrooge) has to be in that group at all times. Kinda like the Mario ones require Mario to always be present in the team
Like I said about the fighting game, DuckTales has such a wide range of characters with their own unique skills, I think it’d be cool building your team to your liking
Game Idea 4: Mario Kart but with Ducks
Tumblr media
Okay. Now I know that there have been a lot of Disney racing games some of which have featured some of these characters already. But come on, a Mario Kart type game in the DuckTales world would be so cool!!
Imagining driving around Scrooge’s Mansion in a go-kart! He’d be pissed but it’d be cool! Or in the streets of St. Canard! Or any of the places where the family has adventured!
But what would be REALLY cool is if Funso’s Fun Zone was a track! Just imagine this! You drive around Funso’s then all of sudden you find path leading down to F.O.WL.’s Lair!! That’d be so cool!

okay I have been. holding this in for so long
my feelings on Della Duck
okayokay I recognise that I am biased bc of my daddy issues, I am in no way denying that - this is not fact, just 1000% my OWN personal feelings on Della and her character in the reboot
idk how to add the read more I’m so sorry
so basically. I don’t like her. as you could probably tell. BUT I WANT TO SM. SERIOUSLY. LIKE SHE’S SPUNKY, SHE’S HILARIOUS, HER RELATIONSHIP WITH DONALD IS EVERYTHING TO ME
but the way her basically abandoning the triplets is never explored properly, and how she takes over Donald’s role as main caretaker, never addressing the extreme responsibility of taking care of children (even with Scrooge, who is still notoriously difficult to work with) that was dumped on them, even unintentionally
I think her arc could’ve been SO good. women are never allowed to make mistakes and own them in media. like Marinette in MLB being a huge creep never being addressed. or Wanda Maximoff barely getting a slap on the wrist after enslaving an entire town
I don’t think Della is a bad person, as we see she really didn’t mean to leave her family, but like. even if it was a mistake, she still went on that rocket ship. no one bribed or forced her (even if Bradford pushed her towards it, he didn’t hold a gun to her head to step onto the ship) but she still did it, KNOWING SHE HAD EGGS AT HOME.
and if they just ADDRESSED all this shit in the show, and at least had her realise how much damage she caused, even unwittingly, I would’ve been more lenient
her being a bad parent being somewhat explored (barely imho, she just releases a monster and they fight it together and wow we’re fine now) and the expectations Dewey puts on himself to be a badass adventurer, or Huey being pressured to leave his comfort zone, or Louie not connecting with her at all, all these issues could’ve been genuinely good arcs, but they’re all poorly handled in my opinion (except for Dewey, I do like the episode where Della tells him he doesn’t need to be some cool explorer for her to love him, ONLY THAT ONE THO)
don’t even get me started on the time travel shit with Louie. yes he should’ve been punished, but with all the extenuating circumstances, IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DELLA, and it CERTAINLY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN LEAVING HIM IN AN EXPERIMENTAL DEATH TRAP WHILE THEY RUBBED SALT IN THE WOUND BY GOING ON THE ONE ADVENTURE HE WOULD’VE ACTIVELY LIKED
and how all the issues with Donald how they immediately reconciled and (at least onscreen) never talked abt everything (or ANYTHING tbh) and instead just “omg we miss each-other and that makes everything okay yay”
anyways that’s a very condensed version of all my shit on Della Duck.
tldr; she could’ve been so good, if they just put more time into unwrapping her and having her basically redeem herself
if I ignore all of that tho, I can mostly enjoy her in episodes. the mermaid one, absolute comedy gold when she’s doing the tic tac toe thing, made me choke

2017 Ducktales as pokemon trainers an their Teams
Tumblr media
Here’s the next, are currently final, Disney cartoon on my list for makings characters into pokemon trainers. After this I will move over to doing other shows on Cartoon network. I did not get into this show when it was airing, and that was my bad. Once I did watch it it quickly became on of my favorites, and inspired me to look up older cartoons surrounding Donald, and his family as well. Its a good show an seems to be (rightly) held up as one of the best done reboots. Hopefully it still has some fans going back to its fan base, who will check this out.
I am going to do this list a bit differently than my other though. In previous lists I have either given all the characters full teams of 6, or given main characters teams of 6 and secondary characters teams of 3-4 pokemon. For 2017 Ducktales though, since it has such a large cast and they all always go on adventures in groups, I am not giving anyone 6 pokemon. Because then there would really be to many characters to fit in the plane, much less the show. Considering the group sizes I have decided to give the child characters 2 pokemon each, adult members of the duck family (by both blood and heart) get three each. This way the three triplets, or Webby, and her friends would all have six in total. Same with Duo’s like Donald and Della, or Scrooge and Beakley. I am also only giving villain or antagonist characters two, because that’s about the mass number villains ever had at one time in the show.
Kid characters are all on this list, adults will be my next list
Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck
Tumblr media
Huey Duck
Pansear: Its the red one in a red, blue, and green trio. It’s to represent his bonds with his two younger brothers
Snover: I wanted to give him a woodland grass-type, since in the 2017 version he is the boy scout of the trio and loves camping/the wilderness. What makes Snover work even better for him is that it is also an ice-type pokemon. Huey having both a fire and an ice pokemon represents his need to keep balance in his life, both externally and internally.
Small note I know he’s the “Smarter than the Smarties” brother, but the smartest pokemon I know is Slowking, and its first two evolutions are dumb. So for Huey I went with his other traits.
Dewey Duck
Panpour: It’s the blue one in a red, blue, green trio. It’s to represent his bonds with his older and younger brother.
Rufflet: Dewey was the hardest to pick a second pokemon for. He is the “tougher than the toughies” brother, so he needed a tough, scrappy, pokemon for his second. He also wants to become a daring adventure pilot, like his mom and launchpad, so I had to pick a flying pokemon. Since he is only just starting out I decided to look for a smaller flying type pokemon, that would one day evolve into a more massive bird, so it could kinda grow with him. It would also need to be super cute because, you know he would post lots of pictures of him and his pokemon to garnish media attention. My search led me to Rufflet, who was all that and blue too. Perfection
Louie Duck
Pansage: It’s the green one in a red, blue, green trio. It’s to represent his bonds with his older brothers.
Meowth: Louie is the “Sharper than the Sharpies” brother, and Meowth has a pretty mean fury swipe. It also loves money and can be kinda lazy. Louie and a meowth is an easy match
Webby,Lena, and Violet
Tumblr media
Webby Vandraquack
Webby is the warrior of both her groups, so I decided that both her pokemon would be fighting types.
Medicham: Not gonna lie a lot of the reason I picked this pokemon was that it is pink, which is Webby’s trade mark color (and one of Lena’s nicknames for her). But it also works because its a very patient and studied fighter, like Webby. Its also the only pokemon I have given to a child character that has evolved. Let’s be real Webby would easily be the first of her group to evolve a pokemon, and its potential to mega evolve means she could still go farther with it
Machop: for Webby’s second pokemon I bounced a few around and kept going back to Machop. Its gray coloring fits her ascetic, much like Medicham. But it also fits her in that it is a tough, brawny fighter, that is trained in multiple types of martial arts, just like Webby. Machop never tires of training/working out. Webby never tires of adventure.
Lena (De Spell) Saberwing
Just as Webby had fighting types I decided that Lena, being the living shadow of a sorceress, should have dark types. More specifically Heroic dark types
Absol: Same reason I gave one to (TOH)’s Hunter. It has associations with bad things happening, and many believe it to be a bad pokemon. But once you get close you learn that Absol is not really bad underneath it all. It wants to help people and pokemon a like stay safe when disaster falls.
Also both it and Medicham can mega evolve. So power couple Weblena can go together to find their stones, and then show the younger generation how strong their Pokemons mega forms are.
Zorua: Another easy choice for Lena. A shadowy fox, with has illusion based magic powers, that it will use when it gets scared or defensive. Zoura discriptions honestly  make it sound like it is a pokemon version of Lena. I could see it, Absol, and Lena making a really strong and supportive team/family for each other.
Violet Saberwing
So unlike the other two girls, I am not going to link Violet to one particular type of pokemon. Looking at her character I think she would prefer to catch and train different types of pokemon.
Anorith: First things first violet absolutely has to have a fossil pokemon. When asked by Scrooge if she liked history the girl out right said “It is my life”, so there’s no way she would not have one. I picked Anorith for couple reasons. 1. Is that even if we never saw it in the show, I 100% believe that Violet is the type of child who is absolutely fascinated with bugs and insects. 2. She is not ready yet, but when she did eventually evolve it, it would be way cool to see this stone faced, brainiac, goth girl with a big, armored, dinosaur.
Vulpix: I also really wanted to give her a fire type pokemon, since two of her best scenes in the show (building herself a hang glider to get over a lava pit in the senior woodchuck race, and downing those ultra spices without breaking a sweat) involve being around extreme heat. Vulpix and its evolved form Ninetales have some really interesting lore and connections to Japaneses mythology. Once again I could see Violet being very fascinated with it.
Also giving her a Vilpix would mean that both her and Lena would have mystical fox pokemon, which could reference the sisterly bond they eventually develop.
Gosalyn Waddlemeyer
Tumblr media
I wanted to give her two pokemon for the two parental figures in her life.
Klefki: This one is for her grandfather. Klefki is a magic set of keys that can help its trainer enter into new places for adventure. This represents Dr. Waddlemeyer and what he originally wanted with the Ramrod.
Rowlet: For her connection to Drake Mallard an the dark wing trio (Drake, Launchpad, and Gosalyn) I at first wanted to give all of them bat pokemon, but even after spending days going over each and every bat pokemon I could only really make one work for Launchpad. Then I read that Darkwing is supposed to be more of a general superhero based parody, rather than a batman specific parody. I also  thought about how Drake isn’t even the original Darkwing duck, but a fan emulating what the story meant to him. So I switched the connection between the three to being nocturnal pokemon, and it worked so much better.
After the switch Rowlet became a clear pick for Gosalyn’s second pokemon. It is scrappy, able to give powerful kicks. It is sharp and will one day evolve into a skilled archer, a weapon Gosalyn showed interest in learning to use. It also would be interesting to see it interact with Dewey’s Rufflet, given how Dewey and Gosalyn become good friends in her introduction episode, and how it would be easy for Dewey to come with Launchpad to visit Gosalyn and Drake.
B.O.Y.D
Tumblr media
Because B.O.Y.D is a sentient, artificial boy, who was created in a lab; I decided to give him sentient, artificial, pokemon, that were also created in a lab.
Porygon: Because of course he would get a porygon. It’s the original artificial pokemon. Both an anomaly and a wonder. It is also decently powerful, can safely go into many environments, and even moving freely in cyberspace.
Castform: I picked this as B.O.Y.D’s second pokemon because it is adorable and can change its forum depending on its environment. Both Castform and B.O.Y.D have the opportunity to chose who they want to be.
Doofus Drake
Tumblr media
I did not want to do him, but if I can give pokemon to Gideon Gleeful I should be able to give them to Doofus too. One qualification I am looking for is “must be powerful enough to beat his butt if he does not treat them well”
Abra: Okay so I do not really fully remember what reasons I had for choosing this one for him. Its powerful, kinda creepy, and can appear very suddenly, just like Doofus. It likes to hang out in tree tops, which Doofus does too. Also its a pretty calm, blank faced pokemon. In Doofus’s supposed “Birthday (I doubt it was his actual birthday) episode” he said blank stares are soothing to him. So it is feasable he may actually like Abra. If not again it could easily send him flying and teleport away,
Cubone: Its a lonely pokemon that misses its deceased mother badly. When I try to look at things from Doofus’s eyes his grandmother was to quote him “the only parent I have ever known”. There are some subtle hints that maybe his mom and dad weren’t really interested in being parents at first. The family lives off Gummeemama’s money, and presumably did when she was alive. Gummeemama likely could not cut them off without losing access to Doofus, and if she was the one raising him she could have feared his neglect if his parents took him with them. This would give some explanation as to why she willed all her money to her grandchild instead of his parents.
After her death Doofus forced his parents to take employment from him to be able to keep up their lifestyle, and threatened to fire them if they did not spend time with him the way his grandmother used to. But even they are not enough to fill the void her death left in him, and he really wants a close connection like that to someone again. Kid Gammeemama is gone, and nothing you can do will change that. You need grief support, and maybe Cubone could give that to you. Once again if he treats Cuey badly, at least it could take out its bone and defend itself.
May and June
Tumblr media
So originally they, and their sister April, are supposed to be Daisy’s nieces and female versions of the three boys. In the 2017 series May and June are Webby (formerly April)’s clone sisters, and at the end of season 3 the pair are implied to be adopted by Donald, and eventually Daisy too. The show was canceled one season early, and as a result we never got to see much of the two girls or their personalities (Seems like May (the yellow one) is a bit more protective/confrontational, while June (the blue one) is more curios and silly) so I originally was not going to have them on this list. But they are part of the Duck family, and it seemed wrong not to give them at least one pokemon each.
At first I was just gonna have them each get the same pokemon, and I went through eevee (I feel like I may use its line to much as it is), dito (doesn’t have yellow form and in this case felt like a cop out), and Pichu (closer, but still not right). Finally I decided that they would probably have water pokemon since thy would have to catch them while sailing with Donald and Daisy (Since Bradford hates adventure so much, I headcannon he would probably also hate pokemon and would have not allowed the girls to have them at Fowl). So I went back and looked over water pokemon, particularly ones Misty had, for some that would be easy enough for a bargainers to train but still pretty powerful.
Then once again wanting to Match their pokemon to their trade mark colors (I did it for Webby and the boys) I decided May has a Staryu and June has an Azurill.

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW
Hubert ‘Huey’ Duck is based on Huey from Ducktales. He is a 23 year old human, robotics engineering intern, and uses he/him pronouns. He has no powers. Huey is portrayed by Froy Gutierrez and he is open.
CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE
No matter what situation you got yourself into, you could find a way out of it with strategy and logic. Or, at least, that’s what Huey Duck believed. As the oldest of the three Duck triplets, it appeared that he had gotten the majority of the brains and he preferred it that way. Everyone knew the eldest was the one with the answers and he took that to heart. On every adventure with his brothers and Webby, Huey was the one with the plan, the one who thought of every possibly outcome and prepared for each one. But there was one answer even the self-designated nerd of the group couldn’t find - how to get out of Evermore. Huey had been in this town since the moment he was born, or so he’d been told. Everything he knew about the world outside of Evermore he’d learned from his uncle and the copious amount of photo albums and records in the mansion.
Huey had spent years looking at them, pouring his heart and soul into it but the answer never came. No matter, the mystery only drove him and his brothers, a constant flood of questions from them to their uncle. Was Huey at the head of the barrage? Possibly, but there had never been a question he couldn’t answer before. As kids and even well into their pre-teen years, the four of them would go on adventures around Evermore, their imaginations taking them on journeys they could never take themselves and even though he thought those daydreams would fade as he grew up, some still remained. Huey is comfortable in Evermore, he has everything he could ever need, but there’s a voice in the back of his mind telling him that there’s more out there and he can’t help but want to find out what that is.
I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR
❀ Suzy Floris: Suzy is one of the prettiest girls Huey has ever seen, anyone could see that, but what makes it even harder for him to be chill around her is how cool she is when it comes to nerdy stuff. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t really talk to her even though he desperately wants to
❀ Riley Anderson: Huey likes Riley, he does, but sometimes her arguments lack a certain level of logic that he simply doesn’t understand. She reminds him a bit of his brothers and, even if she doesn’t fight logic with logic, she is passionate and he has to respect that
❀ Phineas Flynn: This is a guy with ideas! Huey spends hours scribbling new ideas into his notebooks and never thought he’d meet someone who could give him a run for his money. He doesn’t feel envious though, instead he desperately wants to spend an afternoon talking about them all
THAT THIS PAIN WOULD BE FOR EVERMORE

Could you write a story about Della finding out she's going to have babies?
Sure, I can. Just give me a few days to write another one-shot that I thought of and then write this one.

NEW CHAPTER FOR DUCKTALES ONE-SHOTS.
CHAPTER 4: PARENT BURNOUT.
Donald Duck wished that these triplet boys were easier to handle. They were almost a year old, and he felt like he needed a break. He had a parent burnout. He called his grandmother to help him. He needed to rest for a couple of days. He wanted the boys to sleep through an entire night. He had not slept an entire night in so long. He can’t remember the last time he did anything for himself. He can’t remember when he took a shower, ate, or slept an entire night. He needed a break for a few days. He also wanted his grandmother to see the boys once in a while.
“Grandma,” Donald said. “Oh dear, you look like you’re about to pass out,” Elvira said. “I haven’t slept much in the last year,” he said. “Come in, I want to see my great grandsons,” she said. Donald came in with the boys in his arms. Louie started to whimper. Elvira took him into her arms to calm him down before upsetting the other two boys. “You have Louie, the one in blue is Dewey, and the one in red is Huey,” he said. The boys were being raised well by Donald.
“Hey Donaldo,” Gladstone said, coming into the house. “Shh Gladstone, the babies are asleep,” Elvira said. “Sorry,” Gladstone said. “Gladstone, this is Huey, Dewey, and Louie,” Donald said. Elvira was holding Louie, while the other two boys were sleeping in the playpen in the living room. Elvira was trying to soothe Louie to take a nap along with his brothers. He seemed to like being held a lot. She held him until he was drowsy enough to fall asleep on his own. She put him into the playpen with the other two triplets. Louie peacefully fell asleep for a nap. He knew that he would be safe while taking a nap. It was quiet at the farm because it was in the country just outside of Duckburg. Elvira took Donald to a bedroom so he could get some rest.
“Get some rest, Donald, you look like you need it,” Elvira said. “What about the boys?” Donald said. “They’ll be fine, I’ll take care of them so you can rest,” she said. “The boys need me to take care of them,” he said. “Donald, they’ll be fine, trust me. I know what I’m doing,” she said. Donald laid down and closed his eyes. He fell asleep until dinner. His mind was at ease while he was asleep. Elvira, Gladstone, and Fethry took care of the boys while Donald was asleep. The boys were well taken care of while he was asleep. Gladstone fed Louie, Fethry fed Huey, and Elvira fed an overly excited Dewey when they were all hungry. Donald said that he kept them all on one schedule during the day and night. Elvira couldn’t feed the triplets on her own because there were three of them. The boys needed to be fed at the same time. She was a great grandmother to the boys. She knew that she just met the boys, but she loved them already.
“There we go,” Elvira said as Dewey finished his lunch. “Huey won’t eat,” Fethry said. “Here, you take Dewey and I’ll feed Huey,” she said. She gave Dewey over to Fethry and took Huey into her arms to feed him his lunch. Louie ate his lunch for Gladstone with no trouble at all. Louie had to be fed his lunch because he was lazy and didn’t want to do stuff for himself.
Donald woke up after the boys had lunch. He came into the living room where the boys were playing. Louie came toddling over to him and hugged him. He reached up wanting to be picked up. “It’s about time you woke up; you must’ve been exhausted,” Elvira said. “Raising three boys by myself is exhausting,” Donald said. “You should come over once a week and let yourself get some sleep,” she said. “I think I should,” he said. “You can and you will,” she said.
That evening, Elvira bathed the boys. She bathed them all at the same time. She gave them a warm bath. After their bath, she dried them off and each of them in their color-coded onesies. She gave each of them back rubs to help each of them fall asleep for the night. She put each of them in the playpen in the living room. Donald tucked them in for the night. They were all asleep for once in their lives since they hatched. The boys were happy, healthy, and safe.

NEW CHAPTER FOR DUCKTALES ONE-SHOTS.
CHAPTER 3: DELLA'S THREE BABIES.
Della had not been feeling well for a few days. Scrooge had called her mother to take her to the doctor to see what the matter with her was. There was nothing that could stop Della Duck. Della knew that her mother was coming by that day, but she didn’t know why. It was a surprise for both of the twins when Scrooge told them that their mother was coming by that day. They had not seen their parents in such a long time, and they needed to see them once in a while.
“Hello, Hortense,” Scrooge said, coming into the foyer. “Hi Scroogie. Where are my twin babies?” Hortense said, walking into the living room followed by Scrooge. Della was laying down on the couch with a bucket by her face. “You poor girl,” Hortense said, kneeling down next to Della. “Mom, I don’t feel good at all,” Della said. “Why do you think that I’m here? I’m here to take you to the doctor,” Hortense said. “Mom,” Donald said, coming into the living room and pushing past Scrooge. “Oh, there’s my boy,” Hortense said, hugging Donald tightly.
“Lad, your father and I are taking you out of the house for the day, while your mother is dealing with your sister,” Scrooge said after Hortense had left with Della. “You know how twins can feel each other’s pain?” Donald said. “That’s not going to work, son, you’re going with us,” Quackmore said. “You need to not be so focused on your twin sister’s safety and health all the time, lad. I’m sure that whatever is wrong with her, she’ll be fine in a few days or so,” Scrooge said. “Alright,” Donald said. “Come on lad,” Scrooge said, jabbing Donald on the back with the end of his cane. They went down to the bay, and they got on a boat. Quackmore drove the boat out onto the water where it was safe for them to start fishing. “This should take your mind off of your sister,” Quackmore said, handing Donald a fishing pole. They started to fish in the water.
Della sat on the examination table in the little examination room of the doctor’s office. Della couldn’t sit still. “Sit still, Della,” Hortense said. “I can’t sit still, mom. I’m nervous,” Della said. “You’re nervous about becoming a mother, aren’t you?” Hortense said. “I am,” Della said. The doctor came in with the results. “Congratulations, you’re pregnant, Della,” the doctor said. “Thank you, Dr. Thrasher,” Della said. “Now, let’s see how far along you are,” Dr. Thrasher said. He set up an ultrasound and Della unzipped her jacket and pulled her shirt up from her stomach. Dr. Thrasher put some ultrasound gel on her stomach and then the probe. Dr. Thrasher gasped. “You’re going to have triplets, you’re pregnant with three eggs,” Dr. Thrasher said, gasping. “What?” Della said. “See? You’re having three eggs,” Dr. Thrasher said, pointing at the ultrasound screen. Della started internally freaking out, but she kept her cool while at the doctor’s office. She waited until her and Hortense were in the car to express her concerns.
“Mom, I’m scared,” Della said. “It’s going to be alright, Della, I know how you feel,” Hortense said. “You do?” Della said. “When I was expecting you and your brother, I was nervous as well. I had your father by my side and your grandmother helped me a lot as well,” Hortense said. Hortense took Della home to get something to eat and to relax for a little while.
“Mom, do you really think I’ll be a good mother to my three kids?” Della said. “What do you mean, sweetie? I think you’ll be an amazing mother,” Hortense said. “I mean there’s three of them and I’m a single mother,” Della said. “You’ve got a family that will help you with your kids,” Hortense said. “But, what about their father?” Della said. “Ack, who cares about him? He wasn’t the one that was meant for you. He cheated on you after he had sex with you,” Hortense said. “He probably doesn’t want anything to do with me or the kids,” Della said. “You shouldn’t have to tell him if you don’t want to because you are these kids’ mother. You should do what you think is best for you and the kids,” Hortense said. “Thank you, mom, I love you,” Della said, leaning her head on Hortense’s shoulder. “You’re welcome, sweetheart, I love you too,” Hortense said, wrapping her arm around Della, giving her a hug. “I want to have these babies, but I’m so nervous about being a mother,” Della said. “I know Della,” Hortense said.
Donald soon came back with Quackmore and Scrooge. Quackmore came into the living room and saw Della cuddling with Hortense. Della seemed to be asleep. He came closer to them and gave Hortense a gentle kiss. “How is she?” he said. “She’s fine, but she’s got something to tell you all,” Hortense said. Della opened her wide eyes. Quackmore had to hold onto Donald to keep him calm and not jump on his sister. “Della, what do you have to tell everyone?” Hortense said. “I’m pregnant with triplets. We don’t know what gender they are yet,” Della said, with a few tears running down her face. She dug her face into Hortense’s shoulder as she cried.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” Quackmore said. “No, it’s not, daddy,” Della said. “Why’s that?” Quackmore said, letting Donald go and sitting down with Hortense and Della. “Lucas left me after we had sex together, he probably won’t want the kids,” Della said. “Come here,” Quackmore said, with his arms open. Della leaned over to Quackmore. “You’re going to be alright, sweetheart, you’ve got a family to help you with these kids,” Quackmore said, stroking his hand through her hair. “I love you mom and dad,” Della said. “We love you too,” Hortense said. “Yes, we do,” Quackmore said. “You are going to be a great mother,” Hortense said. “Yes, you are,” Quackmore said. Della continued to cry until she fell asleep on the couch. Duckworth brought a blanket and a pillow for Della to make her more comfortable while she slept for a nap.
Five and a half months later, Della went into labor. She went into labor two weeks early. She often went to the doctor to make sure that everything was perfect during the pregnancy and the doctor said that she was pregnant with three boys. She was going to be a mom. She had to go in for a C-section to deliver the boys’ eggs. She was loopy after the birth because of the medication she was given. She was put to sleep during the procedure because it was an emergency C-section. Della couldn’t hold her eggs when they were brought into her room.
“Della, are you feeling alright?” Scrooge asked. “I don’t know, I’m probably going to just lay down and get some rest,” Della replied. “Alright, let someone know if something’s wrong,” he said. “I will,” she said. She laid down on the couch in the living room. She couldn’t get comfortable. She knew that she was pregnant with triplets, and she was due in two weeks.
Hortense quietly came into the living room. Della looked up and saw her mother. “Mom, something’s wrong,” Della said. “What’s wrong, sweetie?” Hortense said. “I don’t know; I’m just feeling a lot of pain in my stomach,” Della said. “How long has it been going on for?” Hortense said. “Every five minutes for the last hour,” Della said. “We need to get you to the hospital,” Hortense said. “Why?” Della said. “You might be in labor,” Hortense said. “Now? I’m not due for another two weeks,” Della said, starting to panic. “Don’t panic; it’s not good for you or these babies of yours,” Hortense said. Della went with Hortense to the hospital. Della was miserable during the contractions. She wanted the labor and the pregnancy to be over already.
“Mom, it hurts so much,” Della said. “I know, sweetie, it’s all going to be over soon,” Hortense said. Dr. Thrasher came into the room. “Della, since you’re two weeks early and you’re having triplets, we’re going to need to do a C-section for you to lay them safely,” Dr. Thrasher said. “I’ll do anything to have these babies,” Della said. “Alright,” Dr. Thrasher said. Della signed all the consent papers for the C-section, and she went into the operating room.
After the laying of the triplets eggs, Donald, Quackmore, and Scrooge came to see Della. Della was awake, but she was loopy from being put to sleep during the laying of the triplets. Della started crying when her brother, father, and uncle came into the room. Hortense explained to Donald that Della’s hormones are still crazy because she had just laid the boys’ eggs not that long ago. He also couldn’t run up and roughly hug her because she had a large incision on her stomach. She needed time for it to heal before she got rough with her brother or anyone really. Della wasn’t awake for very long before falling asleep. Hortense tucked Della in a little.
A week later, Della went home with the eggs. She couldn’t wait to be home with her family. She was happy to have her baby boys. Donald and Scrooge knew that once the boys hatched, no one would get any sleep because the babies would be constantly crying and needing constant care. Duckworth came to the hospital to pick Della up when she was ready to leave.
“This is so exciting, I’m about to become a mother,” she said. “You’re going to be quite a mother, Della,” Duckworth said. “I am,” Della said. Della couldn’t jump up off the couch because of the incision in her lower abdomen. She had the eggs in front of her on the ottoman. They were nestled in a nest that Hortense had crocheted. The next was large enough for Della’s three eggs. Donald came into the room and shuffled the eggs in the nest and pulled the blankets tighter around them. “Donald, the eggs are fine,” Della argued from her spot on the couch. “You might think that they’re fine,” Donald said. “Why do you have to be just like mom? Ugh!” she said, frustrated. “Mom wasn’t that bad,” he said. “She was so restricting,” she said. “Twins, quite fighting,” Hortense said, coming into the living room where the twins were. “Mom!” the twins said. “Donald, those eggs aren’t yours so stop being overprotective of the eggs and Della, you know that I wasn’t that restricting,” Hortense said. “Sorry,” both twins chorused simultaneously.
