Dick or no dick confirmation Pickles was always going to be trans to me anyways; if he's swingin' somethin that's phallo babes, if he's not then his t-dick fat. What's not to get.
#metalocalypse#jay talkin#I'm sorry they wrote that awful gross little man far too likeable and relatable to on a trans level#for me not to hoot and holler and cheer for the trans pickles agenda#changes nothing about his character arc or any of the show anyone is capable of being the kind of person he is#don't make the mistake of thinking thats exclusive to cis men#his transness wouldnt change that#only adds on an extra layer to him that i think works fantastically.#Listen that dude was rejected by his family driven to drink and drugs young to escape that ran away to be in a band#is called fucking Pickles of all things and refuses to tell anyone his real last name;#over the span of four seasons and two movies he slowly starts to learn to be for others what he never had#he becomes more caring more supportive#it's not a stretch to say he undoes some of the toxic masculinity he's been keeping himself shielded behind#and learns how to be a kinder man.#all of which have no contradictions with him being trans!#In fact it doesn't take much extra thought to find ways a lot of this can line up with some trans masculine experiences#i mean. Did no one else have a younger phase where they swung as far as they could into crass rude and uncaring ways#to try and assert their masculinity only to grow and realise that you can be a man and be more caring.#Did no one else have father issues. 1 800 come on now i know those are both shared experiences a lot of us have had LOL.#at the end of the day this show aired nearly 20 years ago and is finished. we're not getting more of it#so nothing is altered nor changed if pickles is canonically trans or not ok. its fine#i mean hell i dont even need canon confirmation hes trans to me and thats all i care abt#but i think if yr getting suuuuuper weird abt needing him not to be canonically trans you have some issues#and bio essentialist ideals of gender if you think only a cis man can act like he does#again. anyone can be like that. its not exclusive. him being trans would not change him in any way shape or form lol#AND ALSO GODDDUUUGH for once i love getting to see a guy pushing 50 whos depicted as trans#do you have any idea how dire and barren it is out here. we never get to see a trans guy older than 30 and whos not a pristine model#I WANT MORE OLD SHLUBBY SHITHEAD TRANS GUYS IN MEDIA

How am I racist? Other people are constantly trying to get through to you about transmisogyny and you instead choose to constantly try and hide behind being black, acting like that makes you immune from transmisogyny. You can still hurt transfems of any race with the way you talk about opression. You think men are an opressed class who's so so victimized by the mean women and fems of the world that you wont listen to those same actually opressed women.
Maybe if you were more willing to listen onstead of bloack a bunch of us every time we disagreed with you, you would u deratand how you're perpetuating more misogyny than any trans woman/fem whos using a few words not perfectly.
Btw, the standards you put on our words isn't fair and then you turn around and demand we be okay when your word litteraly implues we can opress you.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
How are you racist? How are you r a c i st?? You have to be kidding me! This must be a joke. Your laugh of the day. Your haha of the week.
I d not hide behind being black. Youre sick for implying that. Like many black people before me I beg my community to remember the nuances that come with my race when they talk and a bunch of them spit in my fucking face. They tell me they want the right to opress me (As if their whiteness doesn't already allow that) or they try and argue how another class of trans women is still below me in their sick opression math. They are not below me because this is not a ranking of who has it worse. Me and trans women are working together to rid the world of transphobia.
I have never on my ENTIRE blog said that men are so opressed by women. Words in my mouth moment!! I have said that the patriarcy, a system of opressions, opresses men and encourages the worst in human behavior to survive and be safe.
Those womens opression doesn't matter more than mine. All of our opression matters equal ly. We are all fighting for our rights and safet. There is no reason we need to form a line and force someone to wait a turn. I am not speaking over woman to call out the abuse to to trans men, trans masc, and other nonbinary people. Nor is it speaking over women to make sure intersex voices are included and heard when its said that negtive stereotypes and standards of men hurt them too.
Funny you claim I block all of you but you seem to have no clue how many have me blocked on the word of a racist discourse blog or who blocked me after I rightfully call out their racist remarks. It grossed me out that you assume I can't hold good faith discussion and not that maybe some of you blocked me first for talking at all. Also lmao guilt tripping me for using my block feature to keep my spaces safe and comfortable. Why, did I block your main and you've bee seething?
I'm not bothered by a few incorrect words. I'm litterally pissed at the racism, exorsexism, and blantant transphobia thats been thrown my way and the way of many other trans people at this point in an attempt to stop us from speaking about opression that affects us.
*Slow clap* What standard? The standard not to write transphobic ass shit about trans men/masc? Where you blantanly lie about our experiences ? To the point you're also lying about our nonbinary experiences? To the point where your lying about intersex and multigender and even sometimes other different trans womens experiences? I watch this happen in resl time and you have the audacity to ckme in my inbox and tell me I'm word policong you? Right before admitting you don't want us to have our word bc you still won't learn it's definition!! Fuck.
I am proud of myself. I am so proud of my beautiful nonbinary black fucking ass that you WISH you could have what I do.

it is genuinely so embarassing for some of you the way you're unable to even tell what terf behavior is because you became convinced "terf" is synonymous with "everyone who hates trans women". probably why so many will repeat things that are straight up terf ideology wihtout being able to recognize it, because you can't even tell that it's bad until it specifically insults a trans person directly.
like just straight up biting on radfem lines, because you're mad at men or whatever, without realizing that radfem ideology inherently cannot treat trans people as equals with cis people - despite how people tried to construct, shall we say, "trans inclusive radical feminism" it was inherently contradictory via having to special-case all trans people who were "authentic" enough.
like thats why "radical feminism" is a distinct period in feminist theory and considered outdated as a whole, an artifact of 40-60 years ago, generally only pushed in the modern era by people who are at best what you could call conservative feminists.

i only heard about lb when rusty made her first transmisogynistic page and randomly remembered it and her while looking for sinfest criqtue/cringe posts. finding out she hates femmes makes all her accusations of misogyny and homo/lesbophobia disgustingly hypocritical. Should women (cis or trans) be limited to femininity? Hell no. Should they be shamed for actually enjoying it? Hell no and insisting that femininity is lesser than masculinity is the root of all misogyny. At its core hatred of woman is hatred for the feminine, yes it inherently hates all that refuse to conform to patriarchal gender roles but thats purely because acceptance of non-conformity in women specifically spits in the face of the patriarchy. Men "lowering" themselves (in the context of a sexist patriarchal hierarchy) is also an affront to the shitty order but it is far easier to shrug off a "fallen" man than a woman who attempts to raise herself up to be equally masculine if not just down right neutral.
It also pisses me off because like. If trans people are real, which we are as you already know being one as well, that means that all the patriarchy apologia based upon physical sex differences has zero weight in how equal the genders should be. Why insist on separating the genders on that arbitrary line when its not only incorrect and bigoted but nothing more than patriarchal alogia.
At least she doesnt have any butchphobia but insisting on only showing sapphic femmes as bisexuals and making all lesbians butch as a strict rule literally feeds into old lesbophobic stigmas! Not only is she disgustingly undereducated and willfully ignorant about trans people-its not a religon and if it was that would protect it under all countries w/ religous freedom laws so that arguement is always disgustingly stupid logic to try and ban it. Not only that but she repeatedly projects her ignorance and bigotory onto anyone who calls her out. Trans people receive the same discrimation as the rest of the LGBT+ community. Trans people has always been apart of the community. We have always been here and always will be. And we have always and always will be the strongest evidence that men arent somehow better than women.
Oh man I totally agree! Especially on the part about how Rusty treats fem women in general. It's like Rusty doesn't understand that Gender is a very clearly, social construct and what is considered Male today, is Female tomorrow. Throughout history the definition of masc and fem has changed dramatically and is also in this tug and pull. Trans and Enby folks want to disrupt and soem of us even want to dismantle it entirely.
People like Rusty try to tell us that actually we're upholding the binary by dressing how we do- but who's fault is that exactly? If trans people don't dress or act a certain way, then we're deemed as non passing, and therefore, our gender identity is completely denied. When there are trans pr enby folks that do dress how they please without a care for cis people, they're told they're not really trans! No matter what we do, we're not accepted into cis society and honestly never will be.
Rusty herself has made fun of both group types. If they try to pass, they still don't in her eyes and are deemed as gross and creepy and if they don't care to pass Rusty uses it as a "gotcha see trans people ARE faking it". You can't win with transphobes. If we in the future are able to even change our chromosomal structure then they'd claim that our souls are male or female.
They just want to be hateful because they don't understand how trans people work, and don't want to try.
I mean, if Rusty really was trying, she wouldn't be telling people who just disagree with her to "go fall down a flight of stairs." 😒

(context: post about straight men in bdsm & polyamory)
So I've been a BDSM Professional for 5+ years (meaning I work in house, in a dungeon, every week, multiple days)
I love it. It saved my life. Got me out of a bad relationship financially. Repaired my relationship with my dad. The women I work with empowered me to be a strong adult woman.
& yeah, some of those men irk the women who work professionally because...
entitlement. I don't go Male Dom/ Fem sub parties because I don't like the feeling of being spoken to like I'm a shy damsel who's enamored by ~ uwu man in suit! ~ I wish I could express how it goes, but it's along the lines of "Well hello there! I haven't seen you around here, you MUST be new! "(GAG, NO im NOT) So what kind of play are you into? (*I tell them as a Switch I love paddles, floggers, etc*) Their demeanor changes quickly, realizing that it'll be a challenge to "dominate" me because I'm not easily impressed. The conversation ends soon after, and they find someone who thinks they're cool.
To this I say I LOVE AUTISTIC MEN IN BDSM. Like, the men who are obviously pretty autistic. Why? Because the conversations are more to the point. "What do you like? Nice. Wanna see the toys I have? Thank you for looking. Is there a chance you'd like to engage in play? Wonderful."
A lot of those first men I mentioned DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE TOYS. For fucks sake, the fact that they need to wear a leather jacket to throw a whip around because they'll hit themselves on the recoil??
Some guys think that their strength makes them impressive. So you'll see them spend a good 30 minutes wailing on someone (who likes it and wants it, mind you) but it's like...all they do. Idk how to explain, but there's no technique. No build up. No rhthym It's super performative. Like...there's nothing wrong with having a to the point play style. What I'm saying is that those guys use 1 toy, pretty hard, for 30 minutes...then confidently say "You must be new here!". Ick.
^
Thats like, something just annoying.
Problematic stuff includes talking about their race play in places where non consenting parties can hear (even in kink spaces, no one wants to hear about it and I've never heard of FemDoms doing this irl) *This isn't to say I'm against race play if that's what the sub wants. It just isn't something to talk about openly and casually.
We also have complaints from Trans Women and Trans Men in the community that some problematic straight guys will identify as non-binary to diffuse their hate. They actually speak out a lot about those guys that are Masc presenting but try to hover in women's spaces, which is good. Trans women have a really good reputation in the kink scene, they don't mind policing people trying to abuse that label for their gain. The Trans Men go off too. They're not gatekeeping the word non-binary, they just call it out when an unlikeable person suddenly says that they are.
So yeah, that's just my perspective on the topic of straight guys in the BDSM scene...and how you being sus about them isn't too far off from how ProDommes /Switches also feel. We don't think they're all that. I don't know any Pros who think they're revolutionary (including Pro Submissives)
I don't have too much experience with polyamory.
I'm also employed by a Trans Woman in the BDSM scene, and our management is in a polycule (small business). My witnessing irl of polyamory has been that very functional example. I know there's issues too on that topic with the problematic straights, but I just can't speak from personal experience.
So my experience & telling of this is coming from a place of wanting the vanilla world to know "YEAH, we're aware of some of these straight guys that make you feel iffy. We don't put them on pedestals. " Idk, the most amazing men I've met in kink have never had to boast about their dominance and polyamory. They just get pussy & spank ass & keep it pushing.
And keeping it real, these Doms are SO nervous in person lmao.
I MEAN IT. Male Subs? Those motherfuckers will look you in the eye and say "Yeah I have a 10 inch vibrating dildo in my ass as we speak and I've been locked in chastity for 2 years. I want you to step on me and tell me I'm even less than shit. I want you to tell me I'm SUCH shit that I come out of my own asshole. Also, don't think I'm weird, but is it possible to pay extra to see you topless? If that was rude please feel free to slap the shit out of me"
Male Doms: "uwu, you new here? 👉🏻👈🏻"
your stories just made me think of a massive room filled with this man's clones
Tumblr media
the male subs thing was disturbing 😭but those male doms u were talking about just sound like sadists that use kink as a means of getting out their aggression, based on how u described them.
that said, im surprised that the biggest thing worth mentioning for you is the entitlement and overconfidence, i expected some really fucked up shit because ive heard a lot of awful stories about kink spaces & the 'doms' ive known have all been ..pretty awful people

rant
(i havent overshared on here in a while and i think its about time i do that)
tw/ homophobia and transphobia
being queer in a rural area / area where theres not a lot out other gay people is really weird and really isolating.
yeah its the homophobes and terfs and people telling me about *how the gays are going to hell* and talking about us like we're subhuman without realizing im gay.
but its also the other gay people i've met.
theres this guy that ive been friends with for going on 11 years now (on and off) and he came out to me a year ago just by going "hey did you ever think that i might be gay" and i answered and that was that
months later i came out to him by telling him nonchalantly about my first girlfriend when i was like 13. he tells me about this girlfriend he had a few years prior. he then proceeds to go on this rant about how he's still "completely gay" thought since "she wasn't a real girl". and he goes on about how he thinks that if you date a trans person it automatically makes you pansexual since they "have the parts of a boy/girl even if they aren't one" (talking about how straight men cant date trans girls and still be straight and vise versa and how lesbians "cant" date trans girls and still call them lesbians)
last time i talked to him he was going on about "how women are nowadays" and calling them sluts and being really degrading.
There was a gay bi gender kid who rode my bus who constantly talked about the same stuff.
The first person I've ever came out to irl is one of my best friends recently told me she just "doesnt understand aromanticism" and doesnt think it's a real thing.
I came out to her as asexual about two years ago now and explained to her that i find a lot of aspects of my sexuality confusing but i still really wanted a label and she's the one who suggested i use the label 'queer'
but when i messaged her and told her that i also think im on the aromantic spectrum a few days ago she asked me to explain why and i sent her a whole essay explaining my experiences with romantic attraction for her to tell me she doesnt understand it and doesnt think that that makes me gay.
(like she's fine with asexuality but draws the line at aromanticism)
I also have this cousin whose a lesbian and only shows up like once every five years because of our family. but when she was home for christmas she and her sister went on a tirade about how being gay is fine but trans people are 'imposing on the community'.
i wasnt planning on coming out to her (i dont think ill ever come out to anyone in my family) but i was still sort of excited to see her because i havent talked to her since i came to terms with my sexuality and it just felt nice not being the only gay person in my family (even if i am closeted)
and its really isolating because this is my community. these are the people i have access to that have the most simular experiences and not one is fully accepting of other peoples identities.
every single gay friend i have that isnt aropohobic or transphobic or a misogynist (how tf are you going to be gay and sexist??? make it make sense) is online and my actual community is completely parasocial. i dont think thats healthy.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
You decided to end things with Kishibe months ago, your jobs clashing and him coming home late was another strain on your failing relationship. The work caused him to be distant, drinking out of that old flask whenever there was an argument. Finally, you both parted ways. Still doing his job at public safety and you moving forward in your much safer career compared to being a devil hunter.
Maybe it was wrong to think about him while your new boyfriend chased his high, fake moans of pleasure left your mouth as you pulled him close. Wrapping your arms around his neck to obscure his face from view, your mind on him… Thinking how he’d touch you in every place he knew you liked, his thick fingers causing pleasure to run through your body.. curling them perfectly to your g spot, rubbing your sensitive clit with expertise that made your legs shake with every climax he generously gave. Missing the feeling of running your hands down his built chest when you pressed your lips to his own, he’d always taste of cigarettes and whiskey.. you used to hate it, sticking your tongue out after every kiss, you’d do anything to taste him again. Completely lost in your thoughts until-
“Did you cum babe?” your boyfriend’s voice pulls you back to reality, pulling out of you and tossing the used condom away to the trash can near the bed. “Huh? Oh yea.. I did, you felt so good..” sending him a fake smile and kissing his cheek, lying straight through your teeth—it wouldn’t matter anyway, he’s always none the wiser. You make an excuse about going to take a smoke outside, watching the man in your bed drift off to sleep. He wasn’t a bad boyfriend, nice and respectful, a romantic when you first met him. Not soon after the sparks fizzled out, he’s kind..good to you.. but he wasn’t him. You should feel bad for slipping on a sweater and dialing his number, nibbling at your bottom lip n waiting for it to ring but all the guilt dissolves away after he picks up.
"What'ya think yer doing calling me this late?" Kishibes raspy voice calls out from the other line, you let out a sigh of relief at the sound of him. "Can.. Can I come over..?" asking him hesitantly you close the front door behind you, already heading over before his answer. "That new boyfriend isn't doin' it for you hm?" he's right like always, even for how condescending he is. "Just unlock your door when i'm there asshole." he grunts at your annoyed tone, agreeing to your demand.
You should feel guilty about your actions, coming over to your exes place and begging him to please you, touch you, like he always did. Eagerly pressing your lips to his, tasting that comforting mix of whiskey and cigarettes. Hands roaming on your hips, pushing you on the sheets n stripping you down. Purposely biting n leaving marks over your neck and you let him, letting him strip you bare for him to see. “No boxers? You’re real needy aren’t ya?” Kishibe chuckles dryly as he slips his first few fingers into your pussy, wetting them with your slick. Already starting at a rough pace that makes you writhe in pleasure underneath him, small gasps escaping your lips when another finger stretches you out further. “He doesn’t know your body like I do..” he muttered, fastening the pace of his fingers— “Does he make you feel like this darlin?”
Your hands cover over your mouth to hold in your whines, quickly shaking your head no, “h-hah~ not as—fuck good as you!” A crooked smile pulls at his lips, you’re so easy to please. He wouldn’t admit how much he adores you even after you ended it with him.
Pulling his out your wetness and licking your arousal from his fingers, unbuckling his leather belt and pushing his pants down enough for his girth to hit against his abdomen. Lacing himself up against your sex n coating his shaft with your wetness, the head getting caught on the hood of your clit, which made you shiver in desire. “Atta boy..” reassuring you at the burning stretch, grunting at the feeling of your walls squeezing him in. He brushes the hair out your face n finally bottoms out inside, completely wrapped around your slick warmth.
His pace is overwhelming, fucking into your sopping cunt relentlessly. The drag of his veiny cock along your walls earns squeals of his name, dizzying bliss bringing tears to your eyes. Turning your over to your stomach n shoving your face in a pillow, your eyes rolling back as his hips rut against your ass. Drooling cunt leaving a thick white ring over the base of his shaft, gripping your hips hard enough to bruise the skin below it. He’s not one to ignore your pleasure when you’re being so good, so pliant for him, but he hasn’t felt you in months. Still so tight from your shitty boyfriend not pleasing you like he could, bringing his hand to roll your bundle of nerves with his rough fingertips, bringing you close to finishing before he pulls away. Utterly ruining your orgasm, he’d laugh if he wasn’t letting out breathy sighs of pleasure at your pussy.
Kishibe’s perfectly curved cock hit your cervix causing you to choke out a sob, clutching the sheets in your fists. The sensation deliciously overwhelming, moving away from his harsh thrusts for a breath of air. Even at his age his eyes are still sharp enough to see you moving away from him, scoffing n knitting his fingers in your hair to pull you back, his pelvis hitting against the soft flesh of your ass earning another loud groan from you. “Running away? Take it like yer s’posed to..” pulling your hair back to allow him better access to your neck, sinking his teeth into your unmarked skin. “Weren’t you just begging for me to fuck you?” he scoffs in amusement and smiles, pushing you back down to the pillows. Pressure builds up in your tummy, biting your lip harshly as you feel the knot of climax burst. “F-Fuck m’gonna c-cum! K-Kishibe~!” Your cunt tightening as your gummy walls spasm around him, moaning his name when you finally cum on his cock.
Your fluid dribbling down his balls and dampening his pubes, trying to catch your breath. Of course he doesn’t give you the grace of a break, starting his thrusts all over again chasing his own high. Biting your bottom lip in overstimulation, he becomes sloppy, the movement of his hips unmatched n messy—obvious that he’s about to finish. It of course doesn’t take long with you squeezing him so tightly, with a grunt he pushes in as deep as the head will reach, releasing his rich cum inside. Claiming you as his once again when he fills your greedy hole with seed, watching the thick substance ooze out while he pulls away. Scooping the excess that spills and pushing it back in, making sure it’ll stay, right where its supposed to be.
Maybe you should feel bad, nuzzling up to him in bed after he helped you clean up. Taking in his comforting scent when leaning your head on his chest, your hands trailing up and down his torso— not minding the hairs under your fingers. Kishibe wraps his arm around your waist pulling you closer, leaving a small kiss to your forehead. Blowing away the smoke from his cigarette, “Gonna tell yer boyfriend..?” he asks with a small smile, you sigh and look up at him humming to yourself. “In the morning..” yawning you shut your eyes and relax next to him, right where you belong.

Okay because I’m just going to keep making these posts: here is every single song from my ‘Favorite Music’ playlist that I think about Kian Stone to (some with extra explanations) ((in the order of when they were added to the playlist))
Take me to church, mr loverman, cherry wine (i am a sucker for the interpretation that becky was aware of what she was doing when she killed him and i love toxic love in fictional relationships), like real people do, bubblegum bitch, oh no! (i can imagine every single jrwi pc to this song with minimal effort), teen idle (okay fun fact i didnt like add these three songs to the playlist like right after each other its just that none of the songs in-between fit kian), poika nimeltä päivi (a finnish song about being a trans guy. Its a banger, the name translates to ‘boy named päivi’ päivi being a finnish girl’s name), päiväkoti (another finnish song, pretty sure its about a breakup but i feel like it also really fits the vibes of like kian away from the other two after moving to hollywood. I have cried to this song before, the name translates to kindergarten), goodbye my danish sweetheart, hey little songbird (made a post about this one before), road to hell ii (okay this one is more about rand to me but its still kind of about both kian and rolan just imagine rand to it post canon), brand new city, 4st 7lb (you cannot convince me he doesnt have either some kind of body image issues), born a girl (someone tell nicky wire (the guy who wrote the song) about being transfem i think he’d benefit from it), nobody loved you (imagining. Imagining one of the other guys to this after kian’s death), hold me like a heaven (no real basis for this i dont even know what the song is actually about but its one of my favorite manics songs and i can interpret the lyrics however i want), car lights (nightmare blunt rotation if they dated as teens or alternatively kian and jesse), the moon will sing (youd think kian would be the sun but no. He is the moon. The sun is either becky, the other guys, or, my personal favorite way to imagine it: kian’s own rockstar persona because he doesnt see his selfworth outside of that), r-a-k-a-s (more finnish music, love song about a guy who left the woman he loved behind to move to the city but would throw everything away to be with her again pretty fitting if you ask me, the name translates to l-o-v-e (as in like calling your partner love as a petname not the concept of love)), syntisten pöytä (i think this might be the last finnish one, its just a generally queer song. The name translates to table of the sinful), gladiator (i once again have almost no basis i just like the song and if i reach i can make it fit kian), lookatme (just like. Look at the lyrics i dont need to spell it out for you), strangelove, real men (this song is literally him fr), smoke with the devil (this song is LITERALLY him fr), animal nitrate (its a song about gay sex of course im going to associate it with nightmare blunt rotation), can’t get enough (suede yes this is one i will specifically say the artist for because you will not find the correct song otherwise. Anyways some very trans nonbinary lyrics), boys dont cry (back to my if i reach far enough every song is about him bullshit), pictures of you, lovesong, burn (the cure not hamilton also literally named a fic after lyrics from this), underneath the stars (again. Named a fic after. Nightmare blunt rotation moment), line without a hook (it was on my playlist back in the dark days and then i recently added it back because i decided it slapped actually), stripped (becky @ kian be like yes let me remove your skin or something), modern boys (literally wrote an entire fic inspired by this song it is just like nightmare blunt rotation for real)
Thats it. I am taking suggestions for more songs to associate with kian stone if you have any

no you know what. im just gonna say it.
if a cis white gay man does something you dont like, that does not give you the right to be homophobic towards them.
i dont care what theyve done or how bad you think they are. i dont care if theyre being mildly annoying or openly problematic. you have no right to call them homophobic slurs, make homophobic comments, whatever. you have no fucking right.
make fun of them for being cis, make fun of them for being white, whatever. i dont care about that. but you do not get to be homophobic.
do you know what that accomplishes? it shows other gay people that we are only accepted and we only have our rights as long as we act how you want. as soon as somebody steps out of line and you dont like them anymore, basic human respect gets thrown under the bus.
i cant believe i have to remind you all that gay men are still oppressed. like, our rights are still being actively challenged in countries all over the world. growing up in the southern US, i can attest firsthand that we are still very much not accepted. i cant even tell you some of the things ive heard from my own family.
its fairly well-accepted that even if a trans person is being openly shitty, you still do not have the right to misgender or deadname them. thats just basic respect, and its not something you can lose no matter what you do. so why the hell is it any different in regards to not dropping slurs when cis white gay men annoy you? what makes it okay for you to say that?

i'm,, trans and hc chihiro to be a male..
i'm sorry, but i don't quite understand how that's transphobic. could you please explain how chihiro is transmisogynistic? (sorry if i come off as rude - that's not my intention and i genuinely just don't understand, though i would like to!!)
What is transmisoginy?
"Transmisogyny is a distinct category of transphobia in that transmisogyny mainly focuses on trans women and other transgender individuals who demonstrate femininity, whereas transphobia is a more general term, covering a broader spectrum of prejudice and discrimination towards transsexual and transgender individuals. Julia Serano states in Whipping Girl that "when the majority of jokes made at the expense of trans people center on 'men wearing dresses' or 'men who want their penises cut off' that is not transphobia – it is transmisogyny. When the majority of violence and sexual assaults committed against trans people is directed at trans women, that is not transphobia – it is transmisogyny." "
Chihiro is written to mock trans women, to say that in reality trans women are secretly men, she is a man who is weak and uses being trans as a way to escape her problems, this is a thing that is also said to trans men a lot, that theyre just trying to avoid the hard parts of being a woman by becoming a man. Even if the writters intended it to be like that or not (which they probably did because transphobia is a big thing that happens a lot, obviously) it's still transmisogynistic. Thats that on that
This is a pretty common transphobic trope actually, the "Turns out this one character was actually from the opposite sex??!!", theres more examples of this in other games outside Danganronpa.
But also her experience is pretty different from other examples, her experiences are way too similar with trans womens experiences.
This is mostly for the cis people who call her a crossdresser and refuse to change their mind, on it, sit down.
Written by a trans man.
Don't tell me whats transphobic and what it's not transphobic if you're cis. Just sit down and read.
Tw: transphobia, transmisoginy, death mentions and blood in the pictures.
The game implies a lot of stuff with her dialogue, it doesn't straight up says "I don't want to be a woman anymore, I'm a man" like everyone claims it does.

[ Alt text 1:
Chihiro Fujisaki: Maybe talking to Mondo about it will help give me some courage... ]
[ Alt text 2:
Chihiro Fujisaki: I admire... your strength... ]
These dialogues can be read in two ways, the first one being the one the game tries the hardest to put in your head thats shes a man, all of this guessed by other people btw not what she herself says. Which is really transphobic, because she was written as a trans woman and then theyre like "uh no actually hes a man, because he was born as one but hes a coward so he started to dress as a woman to hide from his problems. Because thats what people do right? People who dress as their oppossite gender are so pathetic, specially men amiright? Ahaha"
Reading it in this way really weird, you're doing a lot of mental gymnastics because you would literally call her a trans woman with all of this if the rest of the trial, that consists of cis people assuming shes a man, didn't happen. And sadly you're following transphobic ideas by this. Because the canon is transphobic and transmysoginistic.
And the other way is just read what she says, that she just wants to be stronger and stop lying to everyone, basically about being cis, because shes not, shes amab (assigned male at birth) and thats probably what she said to Mondo, but most people when a trans person who already passes or is in their transition comes out many people tend to think "oh so youre your gender assigned at birth and not the one you claim to be?", because they don't get what being trans is and they think only "biological gender" is a thing. Basically, misgendering and invalidating the trans person.
I can guess all of this just because of how vague they decided to make her dialogue, not even showing how she tells Mondo about being amab.
What did she said to Mondo? "I'm trans"? "I'm a man"? "I was born a man"? We dont know, because they didn't show it and she died right afterwards and then everyone was like "Chihiro was secretly a man" to solve the case and thats it. A lot of people in the discourse get their information from Monokuma who isn't either Chihiro or even Mondo. Monokuma knows many things but he can't read minds to know if she was really trans or not, only she could say it but she died so she couldn't explain if shes trans or not.

A youtube comment by Gail Frisbee, posted 4 days ago, this comment was edited by the autor. The comment says:
"It's honestly increible to me when people try to argue that a scene in which a female-presenting character gets their genitals groped and then is posthumously referred to as a male from that point on can't be transphobic just because that character calls themselves a boy in some other side content later. It's on about the same level of intellectual honesty as claiming that Quiet from MGS5 isn't really fanservice because she totally breaths throught her skin you guys.
As it turns out, if you really dig down deep into the lore, Chihiro is a fictional character and the same people who wrote the genital investigation scene also wrote the lines that character says in the game as well. It's a shocking twist, I know." ]
Her fears of being outed and people founding out her secret (being trans) or being transphobic is used as a gross big twist. A trans woman being used as a mockery of trans people? Great totally normal (/sarcasm)
Read this post made by a trans woman. I'll be using this only part but it's still a great read.

So. There is a lot to unpack here, but I want to start with something that specifically hurts me as a trans woman, and that's how the game flippantly uses real world horrors trans people face as shocking reveals and twists. You can go down the list for "worst nightmares" of trans people incluiding:
Threatening to be outed against your wishes
Outing yourself to a trusted friend and being met with rejection, or worse, violence
Having your body and privacy examined and invaded
Having your deadname used and being misgendered after death, when you can't correct them ]
Now, let's go to her backstory for a bit. I will be using the wiki for this. (Which sadly uses he/him for her 💔)
" When Chihiro was a child, he became the subject of harassment and bullying. He was always told to "be a man" and that he was "so weak despite being a boy", and because of that, Chihiro slowly but surely began to develop a "weakness complex". In order to escape the bullying, Chihiro began to dress as a girl so that people wouldn't bully him as a weak boy. "
This doesn't sound like a normal crossdresser, this sounds like a trans woman who was bullied for being different when she was younger, like many trans people, and then she decided to transition because she's a woman, she wanted to be more feminine and stop being seen as a person shes not. Specially after so many people tell her to basically man up when she doesn't want that, because shes not a man.
Have you ever heard of the classic stories of "since I was little i knew i was different, i was a boy who liked playing with dolls and was more feminine than the rest" or "i used to be a tomboy when i was little, i had mostly male friends, i liked playing with car toys and was more masculine than other kids" coming from trans people? This just sounds as these types of stories to me.
People also like to say that alter ego uses he/him pronouns and says shes a boy. Many trans people can misgender themselves for personal reasons too guys, she could've been trying to misgender herself because she didn't felt like she wasn't enough to be a real woman, this happens a lot to trans people. If people constantly tell you that you're not actually transgender or you just feel like you're faking it then you might actually believe it, thats were most "detransitioners" come from. And thats basically what they made her, a detransitioner.
Some of you might also don't get how shes trans because you think she doesn't perfect or exact trans stereotypes. Trans experiences can be similar on the feeling of not fitting in, dysphoria, etc. But trans experiences, stories, transitions and complete lifes can be very different, because we all (including cis people) live different lifes, experience, process and cope with things differently. So i can understand why you might not get her being trans coded at first, don't worry. But try instead of just not caring because you don't get it at the first try, to see what trans people say.
This whole discourse its mostly cis people talking over trans people about their own experiences (incluiding the dead trans coded characters experience) saying if theyre valid or not and denying stuff not wanting to learn anything, completely refusing to it because "In canon hes a boy" ok then in canon shes written in a transphobic way too but most of you don't care about that. You would rather call her a crossdresser than try to acknowledge how obviously trans coded she is and how thats used as transphobia.
The way most cis people act in this discourse is very transphobic to me to be honest, if you think you're a good ally but act like this then you should get more educated on the topic as a whole and about trans people too.
-the trans Chihiro flag to finish this up, she has a bit boobie! good for her! good for her.

A MESSAGE TO THE PJO FANDOM
so hello friends on the other side
I understand some of the major concerns regarding characters like piper and the feather and hazels description but when you bring Leo and Reyna into the fucking conversation I have lost all respect.
ANYONE CAN BE ABUSED, ETHNICITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT
LATINO CHARACTERS
Reyna is not a negative stereotype, she isn't defined by being latina and neither is Leo, he isn't a stereotype simply because he’s latino and was abused. also him being called an elf was because he was short, which had nothing to do with him being latino. also the mamacita comment like y'all hide under the label “progressive” but ignore that mamacita has been a thing in Latin American communities for a fucking while. its not an insult dammit. its something that happens in our communities!!! its like saying muchacho y'all don't see men bitching about that.
also shocker I read the mamacita comment and I can proudly say I didn't go
“RICK YOU RACIST BITCH”
things that actually happen in communities aren't racist
and before any of y'all come at me with the usual you’re white excuse, hello friends im Peruvian and Paraguayan.
I don't think he’s perfect but bitching about characters like Leo which gave many of my Latin American friends hope for similar characters destroys your “listening to minorities” argument
also the lol “hes Mexican taco bad” argument like I live in Mexico we eat tacos like every fucking day. its literally a fact. and Leo isn't just defined as taco man.
believe it or not us latinos respect rick because he gave us role models and characters like us. we don't define a character by one line and instantly call discrimination. like yes a asian character can be snobby it has nothing to do with ethnicity. y'all are making this about ethnicity. an asian character can be anything, just like a white character or a black character or a gay character. people are not simply defined by their labels like ya’ll think. y'all are just a bunch of easily triggered snowflakes that can't live with that. they can be influenced but in the end labels are labels we are all human and should be treated as such.
LGBT REPRESENTATION
another thing Reyna was never officially a lesbian that was YOUR interpretation not riordans. IF HE DIDNT STATE IT , SORRY HONEY IT ISN’T CANON! I don't care about how she was “lesbian coded” if he didn't state it it isn't canon.
I am so sick, as a lesbian, to see people use ALL QUEER DEATHS as a bury your gay tropes, what happened to seeing us as humans? why can't we be treated like any other character? if we die we die, it isn't always “haha gay evil boom death”. sometimes fully fledged characters have to die friends.
Nico isn't a bad gay character, he’s just a normal character who happens to be gay and has suffered major trauma. HIS TRAUMA WAS CAUSED BY HIS UPBRINGING, Nico isn't a 2000′s character, he’s from the 30′s, so obviously he woudn’t be perfect with his sexuality for gods sake it was the 30′s. the exact same thing happens with hazel, she isn't a modern black woman, she's a 30′s black woman. Nico’s coming out isn't him as a 21st century teen its from the time when the GOVERNMENT KILLED YOU FOR BEING GAY
also saying there are no lesbian characters? like wow look emmie and jo don't exist. Lavinia doesn't exist. poison doesn't exist. thanks fam you really make yourselves look smart here. simply because rick never said the word gay doesn't mean the gay characters don't exist friends. they are just labeled as what gay characters should be labeled as.... human.
LESBOPHOBIA & RACISM
im not educated in muslim or black culture so I won't mention characters like sam and hazel and piper because I respect and I am highly critical of what rick put in his books to describe these specific minorities.
HOWEVER saying rick is a lesbophobe, a homophobe, a racist a sexist cis guy is like do y’all wanna be taken seriously? use arguments don't hide behind words.
rick isn't a perfect writer but y'all really don't know how to criticise, y'all just hide behind big boy words and back it up with no evidence, just opinions.
rick doesn’t have the best minority rep out there but he is damn well trying and I respect that unlike all you fucking idiots.
SHIPS
now onto ships.... yay
frazel: im not gonna censor it like you pussies, believe it or not 13&16 year old relationships exist. they might not always be healthy but they exist. to deny this is to be stupid
solangelo:  another ship that is censored..the main argument I've seen is that it isn't developed and will isn't even a character... he was in last olympian and lost hero not my fault y'all have fish brains. I don't care if you dislike it but don't be like “ANYONE WHO SHIPS THIS IS AN ABUSIVE WHORE” like wow you always preach about accepting all ships and then throw this? also if you hate solangelo because of the “abuse” but ship percico like hi friends Nico is 4 years younger than Percy.. if y'all hate frazel because of the 3 year age difference y'all should hate this too.
CONCLUSIONS AND SHIT
not every character minority or otherwise is gonna be the way you want them to be, believe it or not any character can be anything, black characters can be loud, white characters can be loud. if they're only loud because “haha black” then THATS an issue not the simple existence of a loud black woman who has a loud personality.
y'all be here bitching about drew and I've never heard the asian perspective of this? just a bunch of black and white people telling asians they should be offended. was that just an uno reverse?
also last point stereotypes aren't always a negative thing and y'all need to get that in your heads.
anyway stay mad hoes <3
from a sane Peruvian <3
EDIT
I saw this beauty and had to comment on it
“having LGBT characters experience abuse and violence. nicos forceful outing rubs me the wrong way, especially because hes called a coward for being in the closet. its violent and kind of disturbing to make your gay character come out of the closet by force. maybe write better. additionally, alex's abusive father and subsequent homelessness because of her being trans is badly written.”
oh noooo gay characters can't deal with homophobia anymore ! like I can tell you have never been punched for being gay. is it bad to showcase how trans and gay ppl are 40% of homeless youth? or is even mentioning that discrimination? believe it or not some of us live in countries where people try to kill us. you have an advantage and it shows. about the coward thing...
was FUCKING CUPID A GOOD CHARACTER? NO? I REST MY CASE. CUPID IS NOT SEEN AS A GOOD PERSON THEREFORE HE IS NOT A GOOD PERSON GET THAT IN YOUR THICK SKULLS.
YOU HEARD IT HERE FOLKS LGBT FOLKS DONT GET FORCED OUT OF THE CLOSET
#NEVER HAPPENS IN REALITY.
JUST BECAUSE YOU WERENT FORCED OUT OF THE CLOSET DOESNT MEAN OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THAT SAME LUXURY.
maybe stop spewing bullshit <3
(so I get that this scene can remind people of being outed and it can hurt them however this scene was never intended to be a good thing it literally says Nico is scared of facing his emotions)
EDIT NUMBER 2
oh boy rick really pissed off the snowflakes that I share a fandom with
“give Nico to the gays” no? he would be a femboy and they would yeet his trauma like ssrsly?
also hate rick? bitch no one is forcing you to read his tweets.
death of the author is such a toxic thing like the mans is alive boo he aint going nowhere..like What the fuck
EDIT NUMBER 3
anyway final thoughts on this :
nico insn’t Uwu gay and its an insult to his character
Reyna is not a lesbian canonically (neither is Thalia)
Leo and Reyna are not racist
none of ricks characters are  written as insults to their communities
and if I see one more “but ....phobia/ ...ism I will do very illegal things
peace lol
RICK RIORDAN UPDATE:
congratulations rick antis! you have successfully harassed a  56 year old man into leaving social media! wow so progressive!!!! this totally won't backfire or anything!!!
all jokes aside all of you who harassed rick to the point of someone else taking over his social media should feel ashamed

um its my birthday so wait until 12:01am pst to block me if u hate this post 🥰🥰
long story short the pansexual label is redudant and actively harmful (its far from the worst problem bisexuals face but it is one issue) and i dont hate anyone who identifies as pan because A) those ppl are bi like me and B) i used to identify as pan myself.
if thats enough for you to block me and make a callout post for me then i cant stop you but pretty please either read this whole thing or just wait a few minutes for my bday to end 🥰🥰
anyways im kicking off this point with some personal experiences bc i love to talk to myself. i got introduced to the pan label at maybe 10ish years old, and started identifying with it pretty much right away. i heard about it before bisexual and it was pitched as attraction to all genders and of course trans people. i was of course a trans ally! i had trans friends! i was trans also but hadnt figured it out yet! the way i had heard of it, there was no bisexual, there was no need for bisexual, and identifying differently was excluding trans people, which I was certainly against. being bisexual was trans exclusionary and why would i exclude trans people? the 'hearts not parts' slogan was thriving around this time and i genuinely said it and meant it.
as i started to become more online, mostly through roleplaying websites and tumblr here, i started hearing of bisexuality. it was supposedly an older term, so older people still used it, but it was common knowledge that pansexual was the better, inclusive label and younger people should adopt the new inclusive language instead of the old and transphobic words like bisexual. /s
and then bi and pan solidarity was all the rage! pansexual wasnt erasing bisexuality, why did anyone ever think that? bi and pan were two separate and complete identities that were valid and had to be respected or youre a mean exclusionist. and an asexual person, hearing people labelled exclusionist always meant they were excluding people from the lgbta community who rightfully belonged, denying peoples lived experiences, and generally telling people theyre wrong about their sexuality because theyre too young. and all of those things were bad and had hurt me, so it would be ridiculous to change labels and support "pan exclusionists" because they were just as bad as ace and aro exclusionists, and they were all the same people. or so it seemed to me at that time.
then, 'hearts not parts' began getting called out for blatant transphobic by insinuating that pansexual was the only identity that loved people for their "hearts" and personalities instead of those gross gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and even straights who only saw people for their "parts". (STRAIGHT PEOPLE ARE NOT OPPRESSED. I AM MERELY POINTING OUT THAT PANSEXUALITY WAS SHOWN AS ABOVE ALL OTHERS.) many pan people, including myself, began to denounce the slogan and insist pansexuality wasnt transphobic, there had just been a coincidence that a transphobic slogan was everywhere and a huge part of people's explantions of and associations with pansexuality. hint: it wasnt a coincidence.
from my perspective, this is when i began to see people discussing dropping the word pansexual. that seemed to be a huge step from getting rid off a transphobic slogan, and these people were just meanies who hated microlabels. and i like microlabels! as a genderfluid person, and someone who has friends who use specific aro and acespec labels, ive seen how people can use them to name specific experiences while still acknowleging their presence underneath umbrella terms like aromantic, asexual, nonbinary, lgbta, and for some people, queer.
pansexuals dont do that. they dont label pansexuality as a specific set of experiences under the bisexual umbrella, they see themselves as a separate identity, and even if they started to, the history of biphobia and transphobic undeniably linked to the existence of pansexuality in enough to stop being worth using. but i digress. pansexualitys shiny new definition that many people cling to is that pansexual is attraction to all genders. bisexual is two or more genders.
which. frankly? doesnt make any sense. my guess is that its supposed to be inclusive of nonbinary genders and those a part of cultures who historically have not had a binary gender system in the first place. i cannot speak for the latter group, but as a nonbinary person, its not inclusive. anyone can be attracted to nonbinary people. literally anyone. theres no way to know if everyone you meet is nonbinary or not. whether or not a nonbinary person reciprocates those feelings and is interested in pursuing a relationship is completely up to the individual, regardless of the sexualities of the people involved.
bottom line is that you cant number the amounts of genders someone can be attracted to, thus rendering those definitions pointless. people can be attracted to all kinds of people regardless of gender, even if they are gay, a lesbian, or straight. all people can date thousands of nonbinary genders if all people involved are interested and comfortable with it. numbering the genders you can be attracted to diminishes the post of nonbinary, as it is not a third gender, it simply any experience not fitting within the western concept of the gender binary (if the person so chooses to identify as such. if you cant tell already, the nonbinary experience is varied between every single nonbinary person.) important to note also that no widely accepted bisexual text defines bisexual as attracted to exclusively two genders or even the "two or more genders". i know this is used a lot but please read the bisexual manifesto. its free online i promise.
some people also claim pansexuals experience "genderblind" attraction while bisexuals feel differently attracted to different genders. this is very nitpicky for whats supposed to be two unconnected idenities, but thats only part of the problem. this definition is also not in any widely accepted bisexual texts, and bisexuality has never excluded those who experience genderblind attraction. i am in fact a bi person who experiences genderblind attraction. this does not mean i am not bisexual. it simply means i experience bisexuality differently than other bisexuals, and thats wonderful! no broad communities like bisexuality are expected to all share the same experience. we are all so different and its amazing were able to come together under the bisexual flag.
last definition, or justification i should say, is that yes these definitions are redundant and theyre the same sexuality, but people prefer different labels and thats okay. i agree in principle. people can define themselves as many things like homosexuals or gays or lesbians or queers or even other reclaimed slurs, while still not labelling themselves under the most "common" or "accurate" labels.
but pansexuality isnt the same as bisexuality, which may sound silly but hear me out. it has been continually used as a way to further divide bisexuals, who are already subject to large amounts of lgbta discrimination. "pansexuality was started by trans people who were upset with transphobia within the bisexual community! it cant be transphobic OR biphobic!" except of course that it can and it is. to say that trans people cant be transphobic is absurd. transmedicalism is right there, but thats not what im getting at. all minorities can have internal and sometimes external biases against people who are the same minority as them.
pansexuality was started as a way to be trans inclusive at the expense of labelling bisexuality as transphobic when its not. transphobia is everywhere, and bisexuals are not exempt. instead of working on the transphobia within the community, the creators of pansexuality decided to remove themselves from it to create a better and less tainted word and community, and the fact that pansexuality is intended to replace bisexuality or leave it for the transphobes goes to show a few things. pansexuality and bisexuality are inherently linked because the pan label is in response to the bi label. due to its origins, it is inherently competing with bisexuality and it cant be "reclaimed" from its biphobic roots. pansexuality is not a whole, separate, and valid label. its a biphobic response to issues within the bisexual community.
to top off this post, heres something a full grown adult once said to me. in person. she was my roommate. "i feel like im pan because im attracted to trans people. trans women, trans men, i could definitely date them. but not nonbinary people because thats gross and weird." she saw pan as trans inclusive and defined herself that way as opposed to bi which is shitty!
also a little extra tidbit about my experiences identifying as pan. i saw myself as better than every bi person. all of them. even my trans and bi friends. whenever they brought up being bisexual i would think to myself "why dont you identify as pansexual? its better and shows people you support trans people." because i was made to believe bisexuality didnt and was therefore inferior. thats the mindset that emerged from my time in the pansexual community. i am so sorry to all of my bisexual friends even if they never noticed. i love you all and hope you have a great day. this also goes to any bisexuals or people who identify as bi in anyway, such as biromantic or simply bi. love you all.
ummm yeah heres some extra reading i found helpful and relevant. here and here. also noooo dont disagree with me and unfollow me im so sexy 🥴🥴🥴

im problematic because im fem and a gay man :/ sooo problematic of me to be encouraging homophobic stereotypes like this :/ gay men are only allowed to walk the line and be manly masculine men :/ if you dont live your life every day to satisfy heterosexuals clearly youre a living stereotype :/ if you dont look like every other man then you arent a man actually :/ its not ages of homophobic violence, administration, laws, heteropatriarchy etc thats the problem with the gay community, its people who express themselves like i do, whos presentation deviates from some stupid white bread three piece businessman norm, people like me who saw “gays, we’re just like you!” and said fuck you to that and became something else, when gay and trans and queer were acts of rebellion against a system that hated us as much as they were identity labels, its people like me and my friends who dont look the part and dont want to, people like me who want gay liberation not gay assimilation, like me who was once like you and wanted so badly to fit in that i molded myself into something cruel and macho and masculine and played a role that i never wanted, never asked for until it made me miserable, people like me who had enough pretending and decided to finally be myself, people like me who get harassed in the street, called slurs and get my ass whooped by cops for the way i look only to log on and see some dumb masculinity-poisoned online losers say the same absurd, invalidating shit because i dont count because im a homophobic stereotype because of how i choose to look and dress and act :/ the systems placed against all of us, that oppress all of us, that tell all of us to worship manliness and ultimately harm all of us aren’t the problem here. :/ i am. for not listening to them :/

I love your comic with akako and kaito! I also have been trying to figure out how I'd like to reconceptualize Akako in some writing that I'm doing, but I've been feeling a little stumped. Would you mind sharing some of your Akako thoughts / headcanons?
hell yeha im just gonna wordvomit some stuff about her then
i pretty much scrap the lucifer/demonic aspect with whatever im doing with her just because i dont jive with it that much, and thats a personal preference. i saw her gaudy egyptian clothes and went SHES KEMETIC I NEVER SEE KEMETICS IN MEDIA SHES KEMETIC NOW
in verses and crossovers where Magic Is A Thing then i keep her at roughly the same power level as the manga--able to hypnotize people, fly, voodoo dolls that work, rituals for elaborate and powerful spells, straight up visions from a crystal ball--all that fun stuff.
BUT if im in a mundane verse (which is... most of them) then i tone her WAY the fuck down and make her basically like... a real life witch. does she have power/real magic? well thats kind of up to the reader. she believes she does, as it’s part of her practice and religion. but its more of divination with tarot, energy work, spells to increase luck, some rituals on the full moon and maybe the occasional spirit/ghost summoning if circumstances call for it.
a handful of headcanons regardless of how much magic she can do:
172cm / 5′8″
Born August 8th (Leo)
She’s trans.
Probably straight.
Possibly has (undiagnosed) narcissistic personality disorder? Still debating on this one but I think it fits.
Kemetic, meaning she worships Egyptian deities. (Specifically Thoth.)
Has a mild obsession with lavender-scented things.
Carries lapis lazuli and onyx in her purse.
but ALSO ive got kind of a loose backstory with how ive reimagined her for my own stuff which im still working on but heres my thoughts:
Her weird henchman is scrapped completely.
Her parents are dead and she was raised by her grandma, who taught her about witchcraft and Kemeticism.
She’s trans and realized it when she was pretty young, maybe 8 or so, and her grandma didn’t entirely understand it but she was supportive and went along with her wearing girls clothes and all that stuff--had some trouble with the name change, but it wasnt malicious. She was just Old and had a hard time remembering Akako’s new name.
Combination of having a really overbearing/commanding personality combined with transphobia means she had pretty much no friends in school.
Really REALLY attached to her grandma and when she died (Akako was 11ish) it left her kind of lost. She got taken in by a (distant?) uncle (replacement for igor i guess) who wasn’t cold to her, but he didn’t know how to take care of kids and Akako shut herself away and ended up clinging really hard to witchcraft as a way to try and keep her herself together.
Moved away to live on her own as soon as she could. Still gets a small allowance from her uncle, but she supports herself with a part-time job doing... something, I’ll get around to figuring that out.
Going into highschool she 1) made sure no one knew she was trans and 2) upped her sex appeal to gain more attention because... lonely. Hence her boy-crazy tendencies. It’s gotten her superficial popularity, but no real friendships or relationships.
“All men will be my slaves” is replaced with toying with boy’s hearts and stringing them along to get what she wants, and she has a hard time seeing why it’s wrong because she doesn’t really have anyone to tell her no, and has no healthy relationships to fill the void if she stops. It also applies to stringing along older men sometimes, like in their 20s, but like everything else: nothing ever actually happens. She just likes playing with them. (in a verse with magic, hypnotism still applies.)
She sets her sights on Kaitou Kid because she wants what she can’t have ofc, and Kaitou Kid seems like a pretty good prize--and gets pissy when he doesn’t respond to her advances.
She and Kaito kind of become friends under duress (Kaito doesn’t like her knowing that he’s Kid and that she’s always coming onto him, she wants something more than friendship.) They kinda slip into it accidentally.
Actually she and Kaito have to have a screaming match before they can actually settle in as friends, specifically pertaining to Akako wanting to help Kaito on heists (to get closer to him) and Kaito insisting she’s only getting in the way, and Kaito yells something along the lines of “If you want to get close to me, just spend time with me like a normal person!” and shes like ??? and kaito is like “D. Do you even know how to do that.” and now kaito is like fuck i feel bad for her actually maybe i should invite her to hang out after school or something.
Cue Akako making her first real friend and being like oh shit this is really nice actually.
Akako does eventually start helping behind the scenes on heists.
and uhh thats about all ive got for now, but theres my akako thoughts!!

ig i just dont understand ur post bc like if a “cis” woman wants to transition to look more masculine and has dysphoria about being a woman and wants to become more like a traditional man isnt that just being a trans dude? and like if cis women start transitioning while still calling themselves women wouldnt they be misgendering themselves? also wouldnt us calling them women after transitioning just give more excuses to transphobes to misgender trans men?
the thing about that is like, if they dont identify as trans men then they're not trans men! the reason these labels exist isnt to categorize people based on how we see their experience, its for people to have the language to describe themselves!
i think a lot of yall get stuck on the idea of dysphoria being something that makes someone transgender, but thats not something i believe, so thats a large part of why an argument based in transmedicalism would fall flat on this subject... people have the right to self-identify, just like how there are trans people who dont medically transition, there are also cis people who do, and you cant force them to identify as transgender if thats not how they feel!
its def important that ppl within our community learn that as trans ppl we arent the only ppl who can have a complicated relationship with gender. i've mentioned it a couple times before, but there are a lot of factors at play with regard to someones gender + presentation + dysphoria + decision to medically transition! race, sexuality, and things of that nature can play a part in the way someone experiences these things... for ref, this post puts it well; even a cishet person of color can have a more complex relationship with gender than a white lgbt person, and some further explanation on that in a post here as well! like, for example, historically (yes, even within lgbt spaces and relationships) black women have been and continue to be treated as though they are more masculine than white women because of their race, and although that isnt exactly what you asked, thats why i say that peoples experiences in a gendered society vary, that can cause someone to have a different relationship with gender, something you or i may not be able to relate to
and really anyone can feel alienated from belonging to their assigned gender with those factors at play to influence it, and that doesnt always cause them to feel like they belong to another gender either. there are many lesbians who feel that their only ties to womanhood are through their sexuality and love of other women, its not uncommon for them to use pronouns other than she/her, or to go on testosterone, or to get top surgery, but at the end of the day they can still tell you explicitly that they do not identify as trans men, and it wouldnt make sense for someone to assign them that label.
you didnt mention it here, but to get it outta the way: the last thing i've seen argued is that women are using up & taking spots in line for life-saving resources that transmeds believe trans men should be entitled to... honestly i think its kind of batshit how the ppl saying this don't realize how stupid they sound by advocating for the medicalization of transness, having to jump through all these hoops for these treatments, then somehow placing the blame on other people looking for treatment. like, if you were a cancer patient needing chemo you wouldn't go around blaming other cancer patients as the reason you arent getting treatment, right? it makes no sense, and we should be talking about the issues with the way access to hrt and affirming surgeries are set up rather than prying into the personal lives of others to see who "really" needs it the most, yknow
anyway this got long as hell, my bad, dm me if u have anymore questions or w/e
