There is something so uncanny about timothee chalamet that I am convinced that he is not a real boy — rather, he was created in response to my love of anime yaoi boys … like the curl of a monkey’s paw… like the cat from pet sematary that came back Wrong
I gaze upon that fragile, sculpted face… framed by that poet’s mop… and I know that these are things that I like
And yet to behold a thing that should only exist in fiction
Something in my animal brain can only scream

2024 MIAMI GP | Lando Norris Post-Race Interview
Mmm. Mhmm. Uh, it's incredible. I don't know what I'm meant to say; I just want to smile for the rest of the day. It's an amazing feeling, seeing everyone applauding and cheering and seeing the whole team there, so happy. I've let them down a few times, but I think today makes up for every moment that we've had together. The ups and downs, today overtakes everything by a country mile, so. Just happiness. […]
Gil [de Ferran] in Brazil last year, he told me I was going to win within the next year or two. And uh... as much as I doubt a lot of people, and I doubt myself, I listened to him. And he told the truth, and he believed in me.

The bell shuro gives laios is such an elegant piece of symbolism. Laios immediatly stows it away but it's jingling at the bottom of his bag (and mind) the whole time as the crew enters the most isolated section of the story.
Rescuing Falin was the first thing shuros ever wanted or asked for and Laios return pushes him to be more and more proactive abt his desires. On Shuros side, its constantly ringing, out of his control, and annoying to him and everyone around him. Despite being mortified w intruding on other people, he keeps it on him even when he sleeps. They both almost throw it away several times.
Thru the story its a little ambiguous what shuro feels about laios. IMO the dead giveaway is where he puts that bell:
At his heart!

looking back on the water 7 arc. it’s genuinely crazy how t4t coded franky and robin are. like the way that franky is building this whole crime family of misfits and had to literally remake himself in his own image, and the way that robin has felt isolated and hated since she was a child for parts of herself she had no control over and couldn’t change, and the way that both of them have taken the world’s perceptions of them and leaned into and weaponized them in a bid for safety and peace… fucked UP man. and they just have this easy acceptance with each other that you see a lot more in thriller bark, where they’re both more at ease with themselves and thus each other. I’m not really going anywhere with this I just think they’re a little bit in love is all

Okay, if you like fromsoft games or love bloodborne/love a challenge/love horror juxtaposed against endearing whimsy, please check out Lies of P.
The part of me that couldn't stop laughing at the game's name and the concept of "Edgelord Pinnochio Bloodborne Clone" can no longer fathom thinking of the game as anything other than "AMAZING!!!!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!!!! THAT TEAM SHOULD BE SO PROUD!!!! WHAT AN ASTONISHING CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENT!!!"
I already knew I was on the "i'd recommend this to anyone who likes these types of games or wants to try them" team, but now that is 10000%
And even better, it has filled me with so much art inspiration after exploring its world and collecting beautifully designed costumes. The world building/world design is so, so so so very actualized and charming.
