Can we talk about how yak didn’t even want to do the whole fake relationship thing at first anyway and now he’s like “what do you mean you don’t remember my birthday. What do you mean you won’t introduce me to your parents as your real boyfriend” like SWEETIE

I love how as soon as Slayer learned that Zato was alive, he immediately went and told Faust about it
Knowing full well there was a non-zero chance Faust would actually just murder him
He really was just like, not taking sides here, let them sort this out by themselves

on one hand I get why people talk about the vanity of the instagram age, but on the other one time St. Ignatius of Loyola got his leg shattered in battle and discovered upon recovery that he could no longer wear his favorite tight leather boots due to the way his leg had set and so decided to rebreak his leg without anesthesia because he was that determined to wear his fashionable boots again...what i'm trying to say is that this man might have existed before instagram, but at heart he was an influencer

Oh noooooo. Did my disability remind you of your own mortality and now you feel a little scared, Nancy? That’s not my problem.

garashir is incredible because you have an exiled spy for an oppressive state with fucked parentage who doesn’t want to let himself be happy, but also can’t resist temptation; then you have a genius doctor who comes across as naive and too optimistic, but has had an ongoing identity crisis since the age of 15 because he learned his parents’ solution to his childhood disabilities was eugenics
and yet somehow they are so lame, just so embarrassing

ok so despite the obvious "kabru is so obsessed and yet laios can't even remember his face" and "of course laios would recognise the kobold of all party"
SPOILERS FOR SHAPESHIFTER CHAPTERS
laios is the one who had the closest to the original mental image of his companions. he doesn't have any racial prejudice or some sort of expectation. he sees them as it is
like the only thing he got wrong are some minor details in equipment or hairstyle
he is also the only one who doesn't see chilchuck as a kid
quite similar chilchuck at least got laios general appearance right. it's just the more.. unhinged version of him.
my point is. laios is observant when it comes to the things he cares about

Stanley entered the basement and saw the Princess chained to the wall. Knowing that she would destroy the world if left alive, he took his blade and immediately slayed her.
...While talking to her first might seem like a safe choice, Stanley had already been told that the Princess cannot be trusted. Knowing that dropping his weapon would be a terrible mistake, he instead tightened his grip.
*irritated sigh* ...Although the blade had somehow slipped from his grasp, it was still nearby. Correcting his obvious fumble, Stanley reached for the blade and-- oh for God's sake, Stanley...!
