Oh shit… I’m watching the Great British Bake Off right now😭 so… umm… Paul, Prue, Mary Berry I’m counting on you😅😂

But if we’re talking the last show with characters (and not real people) it’s the Office (new season of Superfan specials :-) … and after seeing Threat Level Midnight, Dwight watching Michael “Survivor Man” in the woods, Andy & Pam getting Toby’s self defense classes, Jim taking out a snowman + all the prank wars, Kelly bitch-slapping people, Meredith surviving everything, and Darryl has the crazy machines! Plus, for 0 reason I feel like Erin & Holly have something up their sleeve… maybe Oscar can call the senator? Or Phyllis can use a knitting needle or the Bob-Vance “mob-wife” vibes? Perhaps one of Angela’s feral cats can help? I do have Creed being well Creed going for me, Jo Bennett definitely knowing some shit, not to mention Robert California being the “lizard king”! Miranda and Reader have been married or a long time now secretly of course to prevent a media mishap. The reader is a stylist who sometimes stops to visit and help with a showcase, maybe she comes in casually to have lunch with Miranda and gets stopped by Andrea and Emily who try to get her to leave as they don’t know her(only Nigel does) and they’re both trying to tell Emily and Andrea that she’s allowed back there without exposing the marriage, eventually Miranda just comes out and asks why they’re touching her wife ( or something of the sort???) feel free to branch from this

Nobody's Gonna Know

It’s an unusually busy day in your office. The clothes you’ve ordered haven’t arrived yet and your workers seem to not know how to conduct themselves in a manner without the very needed materials. You looked on through the glass doors as your workers ran around like headless chickens, trying to come up with something to show you before you needed to leave.

As a well-known stylist, it was your job to come up with new and creative or out-of-the-box looks to those who paid for your help. You mainly helped with showcases that Runway Magazine held and the clothes you needed today were actually from Runway Magazine. Through the grapevine you’ve heard that their workers were just as clueless as yours when it came to the clothes you were seeking.

As you sat in your little office, you thought back to when you first started out. You were a nobody, hell you weren’t even a New York local. No, you came from a small town in the middle of nowhere. Having nothing to your name, you first tried making it in California. You gained some traction which led you to move to New York. At first you were against it. You didn’t like big cities all that much, it just wasn’t your scene but you knew that your talent and job called for being around big things.

A year into the job, you attended a charity event where you were introduced to the one and only, Miranda Priestly. It was hard to read the woman at first but you saw it in her eyes, she liked you or at least, your work. That’s how it all started. You started to come and do jobs at Runway Magazine while also taking some jobs on the side. Not to mention the growing relationship between you and the editor which also included the lives of her rambunctious daughters and her slobbery saint bernard.

3 years passed and Miranda and you kept things underwraps. Heaven knows you’d have a field day for Page Six and their stinging words, so you have kept your relationship from everyone. Well, everyone except those closest to you.

Sighing, you looked at the clock. It was almost lunch time and Miranda didn’t like to be kept waiting.

You grabbed your bag and slung it over your shoulder, “Annie, reschedule the runthrough until this afternoon. I’m sure Runway will do the same due to the circumstances with its clothing gone missing. I’m going out for lunch.” Your assistant nodded and frantically went to work at her computer as you passed her.

Making your way to Elias Clarke, you weaved through the small crowds before entering the building– blending in with the clackers around you. No one knew about your relationship with the fashion queen so you easily blended with crowds and you loved it. No one bothered you.

Until they did.

You had made your way up to Runway’s floors when you passed the front desk and made your way towards Miranda’s inner sanctum. You’ve been to Runway multiple times so no one blinked an eye as you strolled down the halls.

Reaching the outer office of Miranda’s, you haven’t intended to actually be stopped by her assistants.

Andy was the first to notice you as Emily was out.

“Oh! Y/n! I’m sorry but Miranda is in a meeting so you wouldn’t be able to go in right away.” 

You looked at the clock above the assistant’s desk. 11:56 am. Knowing your wife, you knew she wouldn’t mind if you interrupted her work. She never minded when you did it at home, so why would her workplace be different?

“Trust me, I think Miranda wouldn’t mind Andy. So I’m just gonna…”

You tried to step past the young woman but Andy just stepped in front of you. The assistant’s eyes widened as you tried to step past her again but she blocked your way through.

There was only so much you could do so you sighed as you looked back at the clock. 

11:58 am.

This time, you tried to listen for the soft voices coming from your wife’s office. There were only two that you could pick up on. One was, of course, Miranda’s but the other was a man’s voice. Somewhat…feminine? But not too feminine.

“Is it just Nigel and Miranda in there?”

As you tried stepping past the brunette, again she blocked your path.

“Look Y/n, if you keep this up I’m going to have to call security.”

At this time, Emily walked in and took in the scene in front of her, “Andrea? What’s going on here?”

As Andy was distracted, you tried to step past her again but only to be grabbed by the arm and pulled back, away from Miranda’s office door, “Woah! Okay, no touchy, alright? These cost more than your paycheck alright?”

Emily huffed and rolled her eyes but didn’t release you. Andy looked like she was nervous about losing her job. She knew you were stubborn and wouldn’t stop until you were able to see Miranda.

“Since you already have her, escort her to the lobby Em. She’s been trying to break into Miranda’s office. “ ‘Break into’? I’m just trying to see my– ugh, look, I’ll just wait alright? You guys don’t need to be so touchy about–”

Before you could finish your sentence, the brit was already moving towards the front desk area. You immediately stood your ground so the redhead would have a harder time moving you. You’d show them stubborn.

As the three of you were arguing and you were still struggling against Emily’s hold– you didn’t know how the redhead was this strong– you three failed to notice Miranda’s office door open.

“Look, if you let me go, i’ll make sure you still have your job at the end of the day, alright?”

Emily scoffed, “As if you’re so important here, you’re just a small town no one who just happened to meet Miranda and kiss her ass all the way till–”

“Is there a reason you’re restraining my wife?”

Both assistant’s straightened their posture at the cool voice before they realized what she said.

Emily gaped, looking like a fish out of water while Andy looked more afraid of losing her job this time.

Miranda’s eyes were still where Emily had a grip on you and she glared at the redhead, “Let. Go. Emily.” 

The brit let your arm go as if your arm burned her and you grumbled as you rubbed your arm, trying to soothe the lingering pain of Emily’s grip. Behind the editor, Nigel looked as if he was about to burst out laughing at the girls’ faces.

“Now, how about some lunch my love?”

Thanks Jim i started working in Duner Mifflin where i also met my current fiance, Tom, who works in the warehouse.

I work as a type of secretary, and i say type of beacuse i think i invented a job lol. idk i just scripted in detail what my job is about, what i do and that i work in the same desk with Pam.

୭ Jim and I met when i was 18 and since then we became inseparable. we have a strong sister-brother like bond. Therefore we trust each other a lot and we tell each other everything.

୭ Pam and i are really good friends since we are desk partners. I have a good relationshop with Oscar, Kelly and Meredith, we are not exactly friends but we get along pretty well. With the rest of the office i have a normal relationship.

୭ Can't wait to met Erin omg i lovee herr. I scripted that a few weeks after i start working in Scarnton again Pam will became a salesman, therefore i'll meet Erin. We'll become best friends i can tell you we're soulmates.

During a period of time i wasn't working on Scranton 'cause i scripted that in that period of time i went to study something related to cinema (like Pam did with art school). In that period of time Jim left Scarnton after Pam's rejection, met Karen, came back to scranton, Karen left scranton and Jim stayed. Basically all season 3.

The reason is because when i come back from the cinema school (when i shift) and start working in Scarnton again i want to meet Andy and start our friendship/relationship from zero!

Also, i kind of stole Pam-Jim-Roy subplot. What happend in the show between them also happened in my dr and now Jim and Pam are dating. But i want to have the same plot with Andy, withoutthe affair lol, thats why i scripted i have a fiance (also let's heal some trauma 'cause who didn't identified with Pam season one at least once loll).

PD: i hope we start dating before the episode 'dinner party' beacuse is such a funny one i want to be there

Durante un período de tiempo no trabaje en Scranton porque escribí en mi guión que en ese período de tiempo fuí a estudiar algo relacionado al cine (como Pam cuando fue a una escuela de arte). En ese período de tiempo Jim se fue de Scranton después de ser rechazado por Pam, conoció a Karen, volio a Scranton, Karen se fue y Jim de quedo en Scarnton. Básicamente la temporada 3

La razón es porque cuando vuelva de la escuela de cine (cuando shiftee) y vuelva a trabajar en Scranton quiero conocer a Andy y empezar nuestra amistad/relación desde cero!

Además, robé la subtrama de Pam-Jim-Roy. Lo que paso en la serie entre ellos también paso en mi rd y ahora Jim y Pam estan saliendo. Pero yo quiero tener la misma subtrama con Andy, sin la infidelidad lol, por eso escribí en el guión que tengo un prometido (a sanar traumas hermanas porque quien no se identificó con Pam en la primer temporada en algun momento de su vida loll).

PD: Espero que empecemos a salir antes del episodio 'Dinner party' porque quiero estar ahí, ese episodio es muy gracioso.

Cecelia Jane “CJ” Billings, she/her, The Hangover OC, Phil Wenneck ship, Megan Fox FC. Doug’s younger sister by one year who’s been hanging around the rest of the guys since they were all kids. Phil has been flirting with her for years, but she’s always rebuffed him because she thinks he’s just trying to get with her so he can say that he’s slept with his best friend’s sister (which is true at first, but he does eventually gain actual feelings for her). Doug’s best woman when he gets married in the first movie, so she’s there for the start of the Wolf Pack and all the subsequent adventures and chaos, and she and Phil slowly fall in love over the course of the trilogy. A travel writer in her normal life, and isn’t afraid to flaunt her knowledge of different places and cultures, which especially comes in useful during the Bangkok fiasco. Also bisexual, and sleeps with several men and women during the Wolf Pack’s escapades.

Elizabeth “Betty” Jones, she/her, Ghosts CBS (American version) OC, Hetty Woodstone ship, Lana Parilla FC. A former fifties housewife who was staying overnight at Woodstone Mansion after leaving her cheating husband, only to fall down the stairs and die the next morning and find a group of ghosts standing over her. Has mild gravity manipulation for her ghost power, but she can’t really do more than make small objects hover a few inches above their surfaces. Eventually reveals that she’s bisexual and was in love with her best friend from life, but remains very scared of relationships after her husband cheated on her. Eventually Sam and Isaac team up to set her up with Hetty after they realize the two of them have feelings for each other, and they become a really sweet couple. Very sweet and a bit of a mother hen since she never had children of her own (which was a big reason her bastard husband said he cheated on her), but also has an amazing dead-eyed disapproving look that is Trevor and Thor are deeply afraid of.

Rachel “Rocky” Drake, she/her, Ghosts CBS (American version) OC, Flower Montero ship, Bex Taylor-Klaus FC. Lead guitarist in a Riot Grrl band back in the 90’s, who were staying at Woodstone Mansion the night before a gig in the city when a chandelier fell on Rocky and killed her. Gained pyrokinesis as a ghost power, and loves using to mess with the candles in the mansion and help Thor play with the lights. The bane of Hetty’s existence since she’s basically the opposite of a “proper lady,” and spends most of her time whacking Trevor upside the head when he says something douchey. Very fierce and sarcastic and usually wearing a scowl, basically Flower’s opposite, but has had a crush on her since she first saw her, so of course Isaac, Alberta, and Sam team up to get them together.

Dorcas Brinley, she/her, Ghosts BBC (British version) OC, Julian Fawcett ship, Carey Mulligan FC. A baker who died in the 90’s during a wedding being held at Button House which she had made the desserts for, having been stabbed by a coworker who was actually meaning to kill someone else. An incredibly shy sweetheart of a lady who, as her ghost power, can make any Living who walks through her smell their favourite dessert. Very much an opposites-attract couple with Julian, but she brings out his softer side and he brings her out of her shell. Pretty withdrawn and doesn’t interact much with anyone else at first, but eventually becomes really good friends with Mary and Pat.

Beth Fawkes, she/her, The Office (American version) OC, poly Andy Bernard/Erin Hannon ship, Emily Bett Rickards FC. An accounting worker at Dunder Mifflin who’s been best friends with Oscar since she started her job. Doesn’t talk to her co-workers a lot, but is kind of friends with Pam and has a weird mother-daughter relationship with Meredith. Develops a crush on Andy quickly after he starts working at the office but resigns herself to pining when she realizes he has feelings for Erin, before she finds herself beginning for fall for Erin as well, and eventually they all get together. Very smart and quiet and rarely entertains any foolishness, but will never hesitate to help out anyone who needs it. Also Jim and Pam’s biggest shipper, and nearly throws a whole party when they finally get together.

Mariah Green, she/her, Friends OC, Phoebe Buffay ship, Reneé Rapp FC. Rachel’s youngest sister who becomes determined to make something of herself outside of her family’s money after Rachel runs away from her wedding, so she decides to try and make it on Broadway. Winds up meeting Joey through an audition and he introduces her to the gang, not realizing she’s Rachel’s sister and being very embarrassed once he realizes she is. Actually does wind up getting a few minor stage roles and briefly moves in with Phoebe after the other woman offers, during which they fall in love. An amazing singer who’s very bold and outspoken and determined, but can also be impulsive and has trouble with thinking before she speaks. She and Rachel don’t always get along as sisters, but they do generally have a good relationship, and she winds up becoming really good friends with Joey and Chandler.

Graham Pryor, he/him, Friends OC, Chandler Bing ship, Matthew Grey Gubler FC. A new part-time worker at Central Perk who’s also in school to get a degree in literature. Very interested in the classics and historic book manuscripts, and winds up bonding with Ross because of that beyond being friends with Rachel because of work. Chandler has a full-on bi crises because of him and has to work on overcoming his internalized homophobia from what happened with his dad, but they get there eventually and become a really sweet couple. Graham’s kind of awkward, but incredibly intelligent, and very loyal and sweet. Joey likes to teasingly call him and Ross the Nerd Squad, which usually earns him a swat upside the head from Monica.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Harrington, she/her, The Nice Guys OC, Jackson Healy ship, Rose Byrne FC. Friends with Jackson since their early twenties and had only slept with him once since before the events of the movie, but they both claim they’ve moved on since and now Betsy is just the go-between with Jackson and his clients, getting everyone who approaches her to make sure they won’t turn him into the police. Neither of them ever properly moved on, though, and over the course of the whole case they begin to really fall back in love and end the movie together for real. Betsy is hard as a rock, sarcastic and quick-witted and with no time for nonsense, but she also has a soft spot for kids and is completely loving and loyal to those she really cares about, and can read people within only a few minutes of knowing them. Becomes really good but weird friends with Holland, and basically becomes an aunt to his daughter along with Jackson.

Elizabeth “Betty” Halloran, she/her, M*A*S*H OC, Radar O’Reilly ship, Lola Tung FC. The daughter of a Chinese immigrant and an American general, she really wants to help in the war effort once it kicks off but has no experience in nursing or being a clerk. Nevertheless, her father, who’s never really been there for his wife and daughter and just wants Betty to stop bugging him, assigns her as another clerk to the 4077th, knowing Henry is too intimidated by the brass to argue. Most of the unit doesn’t really like or trust her much at first - especially Frank, for obvious reasons - but Henry comes to see her as another daughter and before long most of the camp sees her as their niece or little sister, and Margaret even takes her under her wing. Very sweet, cheerful, and friendly, which can lead others to think she’s a bit airheaded, but she’s actually very clever and makes a very good clerk, and while she and Radar sort of fumble their way through having crushes on each other, they do become a very sweet couple. (Hawkeye also gives her dad a very good telling-off at one point, which is very fun.)

When I came back to Tumblr a couple of years ago, there was almost no one drawing Andy Bernard.

There were old blogs dedicated to Ed Helms from the original run of the Office and the god-forsaken times of the Onceler.

Then I found out that a moot on main, whom I followed in 2012 for completely different reasons, was also a fan and that really made my day.

Then I started drawing - something I can do but I rarely do anything about.

And now look at us, more than *looks at her smudgy handwriting* ..5 people actively drawing Andy and even Andy X Oscar.

The Office Fic Idea:

Okay, I was rewatching the Office again when S06E01 Gossip played. It was as I was listening to dear Andy's(he's my fav and I'll never forgive the writers for doing him dirty like they did) 'Hypothetical Scenario' involving Brad Pitt and a Cabana when the thought hit me...that is an extremely specific situation to be referencing. Which brings us to the prompt, wouldn't it be hilarious if that actually happened. Like a young Andy, either fresh out of Highschool, or possibly during college, went on vacation to a beach resort somewhere, coincidentally the same place that Brad Pitt went to 'get away from it all'.

There are several routes this could take, alcohol and dares may have been involved, maybe it was because of whatever equivalent of a scienceology challenge was going on at the time. The reasoning isn't important, just that the actor ended up planting one on Andy Bernard and the Nard-Dog ended up with an I.O.U. that he should feel free to cash in at any time in exchange for 1. Not suing and 2. Keeping the incident under wraps.

Which brings us to the fun part of the fic. Andy calls in that favor, maybe to get tickets to a sold out show, or arrange a meeting between Oscar and his favorite Director/Actor/Writer/Whatever. Or maybe one of Oscars relatives has an emergency back in Mexico, or he missed his flight and is currently stranded in a foreign country because all outgoing planes are booked full for at least a week? No need to fear cause the Nard-Dog knows a guy with access to a private jet that totally owes him one. And once its out Oscar just thinks back to that conversation they had and is just...in shock. His boyfriend kissed Brad Pitt! What the hell Andy?!!! Can ya'll tell I love Oscar/Andy btw? :D But no seriously, I think this scenario is hilarious and it can pretty much work with any pairing or even no pairing. I might try to write something for it eventually myself, but in case I don't get to it, or wont do it justice, I'm putting this out there in case any competent writers who loves Andy as much as I do gets inspired. Also, if somebody already did something similar and I just haven't found it, I apologize and please let me know so that I can read it and link it here!

In any case, may you all get as much giggles out of this mental image as I did! :D

• Shortly after you first met, you would be lying if you had said that you were never jealous when his attention would be focused on Angela Martin

• It gets a little more tense to have been able to stand to look at him with direct eye contact after he seems to be moving on from Angela to Erin

• After the engagement between Angela and Andy broke, that’s when you come out to share your own personal experience from that exact sticky situation, only it happened to you twice and with great honest, you mention that you were unsure if you could ever give love another chance

• Andy had become a better listener and had become less critical with his own opinions about anyone or anything

• Since you opened up to him a little, you both had become close, so much so that everybody in the office believed you two were secretly dating behind their backs and just didn’t want to admit/or share the “news”

• After forming a little bond between the two of you, you started taking lunch breaks at the same time

• During your lunch breaks, he would pull out his laptop and play a movie that one, you never heard of, and two, that was a supposedly illegal download of it he installed to watch with you

• You we’re concerned at first, but you eventually went along for the ride and watched it with him

• knowing Andy could play a number of instruments you had no knowledge of on how to play them, he will often teach you some tricks on whatever instrument you mention to him that you’ve been wanting to learn to play since a young age

• Movies during lunch breaks soon turned into guitar/banjo lessons and sometimes you both would sing along with the tune together

• Just as you started thinking things between you were getting a little more serious, you were nearly devastated after Erin showed up to replace Pam’s position as receptionist

• Jim was your best friend in the office, and when how upset you were about this, you both go in together to play a prank on Andy. Jim believed how Andy’s sudden change of heart seemed to be made for Erin now, he thought it was immature and came up with the idea to pull off the perfect prank on him

• There are times when Andy is the most vulnerable

• The prank was to fill a bucket of cold water and sneak up behind him to dump it on him, the both of you holding the bucket over his head couldn’t have gone any better than planned

• It was during Andy’s break, you and Jim took a break to do this and it wasn’t a boring reaction, it was better then expected

• Walking back inside, everyone was greeted with a soaked Andy and began questioning on what happened

• All he says is, “They both got me so good.” gesturing towards you and Jim

• Creed pulls his phone out and snaps a picture of Andy, which Andy takes notice in before making a comment

• “Take a picture, it’ll last longer.” Of course he says so in very noticeable sarcasm on his agitated voice

• After the breakup with Erin, Andy comes to you for consoling

• At first you wouldn’t listen to him. But after hearing him sigh in disappointment, you started feeling the guilt tripping on you before making your way out to follow him outside

• But first, you couldn’t go out there without coffee

• After getting the coffee cups, you find Andy sitting on a bench outside in the freezing cold and there, you sit quietly, sipping your coffee as you’re listening knowing full well that he possibly deserves your listening ears, you couldn’t find the heart to ignore Andy

• You both eventually get together in the end

• It’s a happy ending for you both after getting things worked out in your new relationship

• Andy trusts you completely as you do him, but Andy getting even the slightest jealous goes unnoticed by you

• You sometimes take the time to tease him about it and he playfully gets defensive about it

• While watching movies together, you sometimes have to hold him for comfort if it’s a sad film, seeing him cry was strange to you
