I wanna make a ROTTMNT animation but I have two choices

Do I learn how to animate on a software I barely know how to use? (IbisPaint)

Or do I spend 19.99 dollars on an app with tools I’m familiar with? (Procreate Dreams)

Had a long day. My thoughts.

So the thing is I know I’m animating right? But this is going to take a damn long while. It’s honestly clashing with a lot of the other modules since I had a difficult art style and not enough hours spent on it. I started late due to no access to a good set up. I can say it’s gonna look good, as long as I finish the line art and colour it but with the rate of the other projects its hard to do.

Damn, who knew being broke would set you back for submissions?

I also have a final submission tomorrow. Thankfully that’s done so I don’t really need to worry about it. It’s just the animation module.

If I had time, I know this whole thing would be stunning. With all the colours and fluid movements- it would great. Mind you, first time animating and teaching myself to understand it takes time. This is insane compared to the little bouncing ball I did some weeks ago.

Maybe I’ll just submit what I can and finish the rest after it. Besides, creatives take time don’t they?

Either way, I thought to let you know. Also forgive me for the lack of pictures as my wifi is down and that too is bit of a delay in work.

I love creating, I really do. But sometimes these deadlines are quite… i dont know. (If all goes to hell- I have a back up plan don’t worry. It won’t be the best, but it would communicate the narrative 👍🏼)
