The (mud)flow is back babyyyy. It's still a bit choppy but we are getting there phew! And since I've got the ball rolling again, here is a somewhat longer snippet from the mudslide fic that comes directly after this one.
He whipped his head around where heâd last seen Bobby stand and made his way over as fast as he could, his boots feeling even heavier than before.
âDiaz, come in, Diaz.â Bobby waited exactly one second to scoff in displeasure (or worry?) before trying again. âBosko, come in, this is Captain Nash, come in Bosko.â
Buckâs eyes widened in terror as no answer came, his head snapping back and forth between Bobbyâs face and what was left of the main road, trying to zone in on the exact spot all those cars had disappeared under the mud and debris.
âThis is Captain 118, Road 5 Rescue Team, report for headcount.â He kept on repeating, but there was no answer coming through. âLieutenant Perez, this is Captain 118, come in.â Bobbyâs voice became more and more impatient â and Buck just couldnât stand there any longer.
He started to make his way down the hill and towards his ATV. It mustâve been what? A mile, maybe a bit more. He reckoned if he picked up his pace, he could make it up there in under 20 minutes, which was way too long, but he had to, he had toâ
âEddie! Eddie!â He started shouting, as if there was a chance that somehow Eddie wouldâve ended up in hearing distance, even though the direction of the slide had just probably taken him farther down the road. âCome on,â he mumbled mostly to himself, before he started yelling again, desperation seeping into his voice. âEDDIE!â
âBuck, stop!â A hand appeared on his shoulder, but he shook it off as he tried to trudge on. âBuck, if I have to use all my resources to pull you out of the mud, itâll take us even longer to get to Eddie.â Bobby leveled him with a look, knowing exactly what to say to make Buckâs shoulders slump and his chin bump onto his chest briefly, as he sucked in a sharp breath.
âFine. But Iâm not waiting.â
âIâm not asking you to. Take Ravi with you, Iâll talk to the chief and have Lieutenant Cavanaugh send some boats after you as soon as I can.â
âGot it.â Buck nodded with a tight jaw.
âAnd Buck?â
âYes, Cap?â
âHave faith in Eddie.â
Buck tried but failed at producing any sound, let alone actual words, so he just nodded again and started his way towards his vehicle, only vaguely registering the worrying looks Ravi gave him all the while.
#I'm so so close to getting to the PEAK of this fic goddd#nearly there nearly#soon enough I can start editing and posting the chapters#I can't wait đ„č#and then I can start sharing more spoilery bits too hehe#cuz this is very much chapter 1 stuff so far with only a few exceptions#anyway... let's not get ahead of ourselves#buddie#911#wip#the mudslide fic

May i have a blurb of Haytham Kenway⊠a taste⊠pretty pleaseâŠ
( all credits to @giffedit for this incredible gifset! )
â | insufferable ; haytham kenway
summ. Bickerings oft lead to equally heated conclusions. a/n. A TASTE you say? Hereâs 1k of an angry, enemies-to-questionable-allies makeout. No actual smut, but NSFW themes, ofc.
YOU CANâT RECALL how you got here.
Here, by way of meaning:Â
Pinned against Templar Grandmaster Haytham Kenwayâs paper-strewn work desk, inkpot spilled over and staining the cuffs of your sleeves, with his hands roving down your sides and your hips pressed hard against his.
âYou,â he rasps, bordering a growl. âAre an insufferable woman.â
The proximity, the heat of your panting mingling with hisâ itâs blistering. Feverish. You want to kiss him. You want to punch him.Â
You tighten the bracket of your thighs around his waist, tip the tricorn hat off his head with a defiant scowl. âYou shouldâve never inducted me into your Order, then, Master Kenway.â
Right. Yes. You vaguely remember now. Itâd been yet another typical heated argument; another disagreement and row borne from dredging up old wounds of your ex-Assassin history, of Haythamâs present and obvious distaste of it, despite the fact youâve proven yourself worthy to the Templars more than once alongside Shay.
Earlier, youâd barely finished your tirade (âYou and your dastardly cloak make me soâ!â), hands thrown in the air when the ironclad grip of Haytham abruptly circled your wrist.
The others had known better than to interfere when youâd practically been yanked into the Grandmasterâs study for an upbraiding.Â
Or, well, what they thought would be an upbraiding.
âThen let us be free of this months-long tension,â Haytham had hissed, instead. âMore productively.â
So here you are. Rough-housed and man-handled. You hitch at the bumps and the scolding nips he makes, try to return the same wanton fervor to his jaw and his Adamâs apple, but to no avail. Haytham is a looming shadow, greater than you not just by rank and experience but by sheer, dizzying strengthâÂ
The vicious kisses he bullies against the bitten-red of your lips are charged and ardent. Meant to force you into some semblance of submission; to be docile. Has you gasping for air and resisting him the satisfaction of a moan when he gropes at the flesh of your thighs.Â
âMaster Kenway,â you choke, nuzzling into the slope of his neck, unable to stop yourself from indulging the heady, masculine, salt of it with an eager tongue.
He groans at the high and tight way you address, call, plead for him, sounding like prey at the mercy of an untamed, starved beast.Â
It makes you grin when you realise. Coy as a fox and full of guile. Haytham can feel it curl across his cheek, in your slow languorous tease as you snark, âAnd here I thought you hated me.â
âHate is an inadequate term,â he censures, mouthing hot and humid against your skin. âThere are no words in any bloody language that can encompass just howâ you make me feel.â
Itâs a raw confession, as mean and as bitten out as it is. A honeyed, double-edged sword. You make a mental note of it anyway, and try not to contemplate the fact that you have this much power over the Grandmaster Templar, nor let it get to your headâ whatever he means by his words.Â
âAnd what, exactly, do you feel?â Your hand expertly wanders past his belt. The innocent petal-touch strikes a lightning bolt of want surging through him. Makes him twitch. âThis?â
Haytham doesnât deign to give you an answer, unsurprisingly. He hates not being in control, after all, and so he makes quick work to put you back in your place: below rank, through yet another savage kiss, a guttural warning nosed on the scant space just below your ear that leaves you subconsciously keening closer.
It does poorly to satiate him. The dangerous yen for something more brutal still burns molten in his stomach; something that tastes warmer. Thereâs still the bitter anger and bruised pride he holds from the arguments before, and for the ones thatâll surely come after. The blatant disrespect you show whenever you bare your teeth at him, as if he isnât your superior.Â
He wantsâ no, needsâ to sink into you, to see you shut up and aching to be ruined with the thick of himâ
âIâll make you wear nothing but this âdastardlyâ cloak of mine one day,â Haytham grinds out, voice rough-hewn from his wet and growing appetite. âAnd then spread you out and take my time with you.â
He greedily licks a stripe up your throat as he says it, carves the whine that escapes you into his memory.
âOne day?â Your scoff is breathless and stilted. The feel of his teeth grazing your jugular is intoxicating. âI reckon youâllâ hahâ hardly deliver now, Master Kenway, toâ warrant another chance after this.â
(Regardless, you entertain the idea. Have entertained, to be more specific. Youâve imagined what itâs like on lonelier nights.
To have him hike your legs up his broad shoulders, tangle your fingers through his perfectly kempt hair. Catch the flash of his wry, canine-sharp smile, rare as they are; face soaked and telling over his nose and down his lips from where youâd have shut him up by forcefully burying him between your thighs and cushioning into yourâ)
You expect the usual blaze of anger. A challenging snarl. Instead:
âOh?â Haytham laughs.
Laughs.
And Christ aliveâ that dark, daring and depraved rumble huffed at your sweat-slicked nape shouldnât have made you more pliant; more eager for him, but it does. It feels like the damning prelude of an already losing war, now, the way heâs forced your full weight down with such frightening ease onto the desk to look up at him.Â
Thereâs an ominous calm before a storm, brewing frostily in his dilated eyes. Heâs conceding, you realise.
And thenâ
âTell me to stop,â Haytham breathes.Â
Itâs the least insulting tone heâd taken with you yet since youâd first begun arguing. A fragile moment of clarity.Â
In uncharacteristic tenderness, you feel him thumb gently at your cheek. âTell me to stop, and I will,â he says, âYou have my word.â
Something soft unfurls deep in your ribcage. Takes flight.
âDonât,â you whisper, trying not to shudder at the English gentlemanly-ness he so likes to wholly fashion himself with to hide his wild, beastly natureâ that youâve so liked to repeatedly claim you found irksome. You tighten your grip reflexively.
(Darling, dearest, dove. You never admit it, but the classy posturing has always been an attractive feat of his. Something about wolves in sheepâs clothing, you think. Something about being rabidly taken for his own animalistic pleasureâ)Â
âDonât you dare, Kenway.â
And so the delicate moment passes. Haytham surges his head forward to steal a kiss from you again, inhales a lungful of your cloying scent thatâs mixed with the sea-winds from the weeks of sailing aboard the Morrigan.
âMh,â he hums in assent, nosing his way from your hairline down to the juncture of your neck; letting his calloused hand mould wide around the thin, bare skin of it to feel your bated breath and rapid pulse. He could snuff you out like a light in an instant. (And he supposes you like the thrill of that as much as he does.)
âThen I believe I ought to teach you a lesson or two about respect, dear.âÂ
Haytham pulls away and cocks his head. As if thinking. As if he hadnât imagined this a hundred times over since heâd met you, in the darkest hour of every restless night when heâs alone with nothing but his fist jerking between his legs.
âHow about we put that smart mouth of yours to good use first?â
#END SCENE.#LET'S NOT GET AHEAD OF OURSELVES#'tis a blurb! a drabble!#lord knows Haytham has me barking like a dog enough already#ANYWAYS.#with this I finally introduce myself & contribute as a writer for the AC fandom#i hope i do y'all proud </3#Comments & feedback is greatly appreciated!#send in some blurb requests!#haytham kenway#assassin's creed#haytham kenway imagine#haytham kenway x reader#haytham kenway x you#haytham kenway x y/n#assassin's creed imagine#ac#ac3#ac rogue#assassin's creed 3#assassin's creed rogue#đȘ¶ ; ac

im in a good mood cause my work enemy is getting her life ruined while all i had to do was keep quiet and do my best đ„±
#basically shes been making management think for years that shes the only capable person there and they pay her sooooo much more than#everyone else#but now because me and two girls from my team have been quietly working hard and having amazing results#management decided to look into that and even trust us in more serious positions#and now management realized were all doing great and are on her level.. all while realizing shed been taking credit for our work all along#and to prove them wrong she decided to take a 2 week vacation thinking everything will fall apart when shes gone#(note: she genuinely thinks shes the best and smartest and master manipulator etc... shes not)#but everything was okay while she was gone ahahahaha#and the realization hit management like a truck#and i just do happen to have insider information on all of this teehee so im not speaking out of my ass#and the worst part is we keep working hard and getting praised#while shes going down with âidk how we ever let ourselves raise one person up that highâ#WHILE#the three of us have fullfilling lives outside of work. while she literally has no life and her whole personality and activities in life#are this job#maybe im a little mean but this woman took credit for our work to get ahead. she constanly tries to frame us for her mistakes#she literally sets up situations against protocol so that a fuckup will happen in our shifts and she can point to iy#and has manipulated management into firing people just because they were a lil mean to her privately#my fav thing to do is not pay attention when she tells the whole group how amazingly she did smth (she boasts A LOT) and when she asks me#âomg adora are you even here?â and im like âsorry just focusing on this email rnâ. anyway this drives her crazy cause she cant do anything#about it without looking insane#teehee#yapping#i wrote a whole essay but sry im just in a good mood cause i found out she wrote me a fake email about how management is unhappy w my work#only to find out that exact same manager is in fact extremely happy w my work and is unhappy with hers instead AHHAAHHA#i cant shes so pathetic đđđđ

I think I finally got Kita's voice right...!
Like. I finally have a draft for a first kiss scene that I'm satisfied with đ It's only taken me FOUR years yayyy
#gatatxt#To be fair#I've got so many distractions at home#It's no wonder I'm finally doing it on the one day I'm home alone#Sometimes a writer's block is just a very distracting environment in a trenchcoat#Anyway#Let's not get ahead of ourselves here#I still have to write the actual thing#All I got is a rough outline#It should be easier now that I've decided on a plot and I won't be jumping between radically different ideas đ

i was made for lovin' you.
OR after years of unsaid emotions, supressed feelings and goddamn urgesâ you and dean finally confront the thing you'd both been avoiding: how there's so much you wanna do in the darkness. and you're gonna make all come true. tonight.
my masterlist
ă pairing ă : dean winchester x fem ! reader
ă word count ă : 5.6 k.
ă content / warnings ă : MINORS LOOK AWAY !!!, lateish seasons (if you squint) dean winchester x reader's first time (not virgins though), unprotected (mostly) soft sex with feelings, feelings, feelings!, aka porn WITH plot!, p in v, handjob, dean being a munch ofc (this is canon. go argue with the wall.), swearing. please let me know if i missed anything!
đ€ ââââââââââââââââââââââââ
from the moment you first met dean winchester while working a case, you knew you wanted to fuck him.
which was a little strange, because you didn't think like that outright about too many menâ not ones you knew in real life, anyway.
but here the stupid bastard was, with his annoyingly pretty face and those stupid, big, rough fightin' hands that could touch you everywhere, pull the prettiest sounds right from youâ
oh, we're getting way too far ahead of ourselves. you shoved those thoughts away. come on, this was a freakin' case. lives were at stake.
and once the initial secret lust you had finally went away, you realized you were experiencing something much greater than some stupid crush on dean.
because the more hunted with him, you got to see not just the tough, hard-as-nails side of himâ but you saw the other side.
his people side.
you got to see the way he interacted with every single person he encountered on a case, not resting until the threat was completely gone and ganked. and sometimes, when a case hit too close to home, he treated victims and affected family no less than his own fuckin' family.
and you knew from your own personal experience that he'd do just about damn near anything for the family he did have. saw the way he got all soft and sweet around kidsâ and after a good while, even around you.
and that's when you knew you were in trouble.
you'd known dean for years now. and nothing had ever come of you two except him being one of the greatest friends you'd ever had.
but god help you if you didn't want more.
and nothing like a quick fuck, either. no, you wanted to be there for everythingâ even on those deathly-quiet nights when dean's thoughts got too loud and the debilitating weight he was carrying all alone just got too heavy, you wanted to be the one keeping him afloat.
it was something dangerously close to love.
you tried to ignore it at first. push it down. and it did work-- for a while. until fucking dean started acting weird around you, too.
and now things were... complicated.
you didn't know exactly when things had shifted so much to the point that it almost became unbearable to even be in the same room as dean without either of you knowingly holding back just spilling your guts-- but god, it was worse than dying.
inevitably, one night, it all just snapped.
there was no dramatic fight, or screamed confessions from either of you. no, it happened late in the darkness, when you both were sharing a motel room.
which would have made you fond of all the times you guys had shared motel rooms in the pastâ you would've smiled at the thought of younger you trying to make the most out of the fact that you had to share a room with a fucking boy.
but dean was now much more of a man than ever before now.
thank god there's two separate beds, you initially thought.
now, though? there wasn't a need for two beds anymore.
because you still somehow ended up in dean's that was closest to the window.
in his lap.
and kissing him.
you were sure you were in just another one of your dreams or fantasies you conjured up to get offâ but you could feel dean's hands on you through your shirt, grasping at the fabric. so this had to be realâ but just for precaution, you roll your hips into dean's a little.
yeah. that sound he made when he grinds his hips up into your own was definitely realâ and right in your mouth.
you knew you were probably moving too fastâ but fuck if you cared. your hands sneak in between you both and trail downward on the front of dean's shirt, not stopping until you reach the hemâ and your voice is a whisper against dean's kiss-swollen lips.
"arms up, de."
and dean obliges in a heartbeat, raising his arms up over his head immediatelyâ and he's silently praising the fact he decided to just wear a t-shirt to bed.
you actually somehow had only seen dean shirtless once or twice over the yearsâ the latest being last summer when the air conditioning in the bunker was broken, and you conveniently and hurriedly stated that you had to stay in your room the entire dayâbecause it was so much more skin than you were used to seeing.
but now?
you're staring.
dean's looking at you looking at himâ and if the motel room wasn't so dark, you could've sworn his face got a little pinker under your gaze.
but you don't dwell on that for too long. because your hands are itching to reach out and just touchâ and the moment your fingers start to graze on dean's biceps first, his eyes flutter shut and he lets out a shaky exhale, fighting to keep himself under control.
because it's you that's touching him.
you're still touching him when you lean back and kiss his lips againâ and dean is very aware of the fact that you still have your shirt on.
but you have to break the kiss after a while to get stupid airâ and your hands are reluctantly taken off of dean's skin, much to his protest. but the words he was about to say die in his throat when he sees where your hands were going.
you grasp the hem of the oversized shirt you were wearing, tearing it over your head and discarding it in the same motionâ all while you were silently thanking whatever had possessed you not to wear shorts to bed.
or a bra.
and now, dean thinks he might die.
it was his turn to stare, eyes raking and flicking over every inch of you as you're straddling his lap like he didn't know where to look firstâ and dean's just so in awe, he says what he was thinking out loud in a barely-audible.
"god, you're beautiful."
you can feel a blush burning your cheeks at dean's words-- and judging by the way his eyes widened ever so slightly when he uttered those words, you knew he meant it. you smile softly down at him, your voice just as quiet as his once was.
"you're not so bad, yourself.''
and that makes the corner of dean's lips turn up in a small, soft smirk. god, he loves you. and he's gonna show you that.
all night long.
dean starts with his hands, the rough callouses trailing up your thighs, hips, waist, stomach, tits, arms, backâ fucking everywhere on your bare skin as he stares up at you.
but your hands move on dean, tooâ touching him everywhere you could reach before you go lower, your fingers grazing on the waistband of his boxersâ but you look back up at him again, a silent question in your eyes.
dean looks confused for half a secondâ until he realizes you're asking for permission. then he nods, his heart feeling warmer than it was before.
you tear his boxers off in one fell swoopâ and holy goddamn.
you stareâ again. and dean's fighting the urge to roll you over onto the mattress and just taking you.
instead, he forces himself to stay still under youâ because the urge to do that and see what you do next is stronger.
dean's smirking up at you. the damn idiot. and then he quietly murmurs outâ
"your turn."
you'd almost forgotten you still had your underwear onâ oh, but dean didn't forget. the speed at which you yank down the fabric and discard it somewhere in the motel room should be a world record.
you look back down at dean again when you get situated back on his lapâ but he's not looking at you anymore.
no, the man gulps at the sight of your pussy being exposed to himâ and it takes him a while to look back up at you, his voice low and rough.
"c'mere."
you obliged, one of your hands reaching down and grasping dean's own that had been resting on your thigh.
this was new. oh, so new. dean wasn't new to you by any means, and that familiarity, that bond was still thereâ but he was new in this sense. this was different.
this was real.
dean was a man who rarely ever got what he really wantedâ so you wanted dean to get whatever he wanted out of what was about to happen between the two of you.
"tell me what you want, dean," your voice is a mere whisper. "tell me what you want me to do, and i'll do it."
dean really thinks you should be illegal. you're all he's ever wantedâand you're asking him what he wanted.
he doesn't answer right awayâ dean's eyes rake over your naked form in his lap, and he's got his hands resting on your thighs as he meets your gaze once more.
"touch me."
you knew what dean meant by that. dean knew what he meant by that. and you both were fully aware of the line you were about to cross. but you weren't even nervous. and neither was he.
so take your hands, reaching down and trailing a path on dean's lower torso before you take him all in your hands.
and dean thinks he might die.
again.
because you start stroking him slowlyâ you weren't an idiot, you knew if you went too fast at first, it would hurt dean like a motherfucker rather than feel good.
and you're just looking at him, reading his reactions, making sure that it feels good.
all dean can get out at first is your name. he had opened his mouth to say something, but that's all that came out in a broken groan. he's letting out these little broken noises of pleasureâ and his head has to fall back on the shitty motel roomâs headboard so he doesn't cum right there.
you keep your pace of your hand on dean's dick steady, only increasing the intensity after a few moments when you can tell he needed moreâ by the way he gripped onto your hip, his rough fingers curling into the meat of your skinâ and by the way he was fighting back the moans that had been treating to escape his throat.
it was definitely embarrassing how close dean was to cumming already, he knew that. but he also knew it was because it was you who was bringing him there. not some quick fuck with a chick he'd met that night, or his own handâ no.
it was yours.
and that thought combined with the way you're still looking at himâ in awe, like he's something out of a museum, gets him way closer to the edge you were guiding him to.
"i'mâ fucking christ, jesusâ"
your name along with the man upstairs' son had come out of dean's mouth in a desperate attempt to warn you that he was right there, all because of you.
"i gotcha, dean," you whisper, and your free hand not jerking him off reaches to cup the side of his face as his head's tilted up towards you.
"just let it happen."
and that does it for him.
dean cums hard, his hands clutching on your thigh and part of your hips with all he's got, gasping and groaning, letting little out broken moans the whole way down.
you just guide dean through it with your hand, watching him under you as his skin was all flushed and red now, hair sticking up everywhere (courtesy of your hands), his pupils blown out and half-lidded before shutting fully.
"y'okay?" you whisper, your eyes flicking over dean under you. his own eyes continued to be closedâ and you take that time to grab a tissue from the nightstand, wiping your hand clean before looking back and giving dean your full attention.
your other hand was still on his face, your thumb grazing on his cheek now, and for a split second, you almost think dean must not have liked it, or you went too far, because he wasn't sayingâ
"holy shit."
the curse leaves dean's mouth as his eyes openâ and all he can do is reach his free hand up that wasn't grasping yours between the two of you already and rest it on the one cupping his face.
you can't even open your softly smiling mouth to respond, because the next words are coming out of dean's mouth, his voice still raw and rough from the way you just broke him apart.
"you know what i wanna do right now?"
you tilt your head a little to the side, still looking down at dean below you with his back resting against the headboard as you so desperately wanted to know.
"what?"
dean's downright devilish smirk reappearsâ and his eyes flick down to your almost dripping pussy that was spread as you straddled his legs before looking back up at you, his voice still rough as ever.
"I wanna taste you."
and a strangled sound gets stuck in your throat at the mere thought of dean eating you out. maybe it was a little embarassing how breathless your voice sounded when you leaned just a fraction closer to him.
"then go ahead."
an actual growl escapes dean at thatâ and you don't need to tell the man twice. he's got you flipped over and pinning you down, your scorching back hitting the cold motel sheets before you can even blink. you stare up at him when he hovers over you, both hands on the sides of your head, holding him upâ and he's just looking at you.
but dean doesn't stay like that for too long. his lips hit your neck immediately after he leans down enoughâ and he starts just attacking at your skin, nipping, biting, suckingâ he draws a path all the way down, until he reaches your now sopping pussy.
dean changes his position when he does, spreading your slick inner thighs further apart and settling between your legs, wrapping a strong arm around the meat of your thighs.
but he hesitates for a brief moment. he likes eating out pussy, but did you enjoy it? his pussy-drunk eyes flick up to yoursâ and you're a sight all spread out for him, your back against the pillows and sitting up a little so you could watch.
"i ain't gonna be gentle. y'know that, right?"
you knew that dean had always been considerate of you, long before this nightâ for as long as you'd known him, for that matter. but hearing him tell you that he didn't want to be gentle made your gaze soften and a smile tug on your lips as you nodded in response.
"yeah, i know."
and in that moment, dean thinks he loves you.
well, in all actuality, dean knows he loves youâ but seeing you all soft and just so goddamn pretty in the moonlight that's filtering in through the motel room window, he's well aware of the blessing that's before him.
dean gives you one last smileâ softer this time. then he dives in, burying in his face and going at you full force, his tongue flat and working against your puffy, slick folds before letting out a groan that vibrates everything.
and dean was right.
he was not gentle about it.
your eyes threaten to flutter shut as dean's tounge works on youâ but you force them to be half-lidded as you look down at the sight of dean eating you out like a starved man.
and he's looking right back at you as he does it.
your hand flies to grasp onto dean's that was still resting on your thigh as his mouth continues to attack youâ and he gladly takes it in his, not faltering his pace once.
you couldn't help but bite down hard on your bottom lip, attempting to contain the moans and noises that were threatening to spill out of youâ and dean isnât having it.
ânuh uh, darlinâ,â dean shakes his head between your thighs, talking right into your pussy between flicks of his tongue on your clit. âi wanna hear youâ wanna hear how goddamn good iâm makinâ ya feel right now.â
and with that, your mouth drops open almost immediately. it's like a switch flipped in youâ and the first moan you let out is his fuckin' name.
"dean..."
christ on a cross. dean had wanted to hear just anything come out of your pretty mouth, but his name being the first thing on the tip of your tongue does things to him.
dean's imagined you moaning his name countless times, of course, but nothing can compare to the real you right nowâ tits heaving, groaning and eyes fluttering a little each time he brushes on a few sensitive spots on your pussy with his tongue.
now, it's embarrassing how close you are to cumming on dean's tongue. and oh, he notices. he holds your bucking and writhing hips down with his free hand that's not grasping and holding onto yoursâ
and goes to fuckin' town.
"fuckâ dean!" you think you're gonna pass outâ because you could barely hear the sounds of dean slurping up your juices and sucking on your clit when you cum without warning, back arching off of the sheets and grinding into his tongue, your grip on his hand becoming almost bruising as the pleasure cascades over you in waves.
dean doesn't look away from you for a second as your pussy flutters on his tongue, moving his mouth slower once more to not let a drop of you go to waste, making sure you're completely spent, pulling soft groans and gasps from your lips.
your legs tremble and shake under the arm that dean had wrapped around your thighâ and he takes a second to just watch you in the post-orgasm state you're in.
"y'okay?" dean's voice is rough but soft at the same time, looking up at you from his position between your legs like you're the night sky itself.
you open your eyes again, lifting your head off of the pillows just enough to see dean's eyes looking right back at youâ and oh, he's a sight, his lips, nose and chin absolutley covered in your slickâ and his hair's even more messy than before now.
"yeah", you breathe out softly, managing a nod against the pillows. "yeah, i'm all good. c'mere."
dean sees the soft look in your eyesâ and his own gaze melts as he obeys, lifting off of the mattress and out from between your legs to hover over you, your faces just inches apart again.
dean can't look away.
and he never wants to.
"you're goddamn gorgeous, y'know that?" dean murmurs as he looks down at your moonlit face.
at that, you reach your hand up in the distance between you two, cupping the side of dean's faceâ and his head immediately leans into your touch before you whisper back.
"and you're perfect, dean."
dean's chest tightens at thatâ and his gaze somehow softens even more. no one's ever called him perfect before, and he couldn't think of one person in his life who even believed that to be true.
but you were looking at dean like he was.
you notice dean's reaction immediatelyâ it was hard not to with how close you were.
you meant those words you said to deanâ because being perfect wasn't about having absolutely no flaws or weaknesses.
it was about knowing that, and still carrying on anyway.
and then it clicks. because you could talk all you wanted to dean.
or you could show him how perfect he was.
"lemme show you," you whisper before dean could even open his mouth to deny it. "let me show you how perfect you are, dean."
and those words are completely breaking down what little resistance dean had left. his eyes actually get a little misty as heâs looking down at youâ because he can't believe you're here, telling him everything he's never heard before.
dean nodsâ and his voice is shaking with anticipation mixed with pure awe.
"yeah. yeah, okay."
and that's all you needed. you look at dean's face one last time before lifting your head to close the little distance between the both of you, kissing him with everything you had to give him.
you didn't kiss dean like beforeâ that was in a state of pure lust, desire, and want. now, you're kissing him softer, slower, and with purpose.
and purpose was exactly what dean needed. he tries to keep himself upright and hovering over you, but the way you're kissing him has his arms trembling as you're literally melting him.
you only take my lips off of deanâs when the air he and you had been breathing through your noses wasnât enoughâ and your thumb grazes on his cheek again as his forehead rests on top of yours, eyes fluttering a little as i whisper against his lips.
âlay down for me.â
you don't have to say it again. dean obliges in a heartbeat, lifting off of you and rolling onto his back in one fluid motionâ and you follow behind, tossing your leg over his to straddle him once more
deanâs hands go to your hips once youâre straddling him, looking up at you nowâ he still looks a little wrecked from earlier, and his chest is rising and falling in a slower, steadier rhythm than before, like heâs trying to calm himself down.
but seeing your naked form straddling him like this once more is just making his heart start to thump against his chestâ again.
your hands find deanâs own on your hips, your fingers trailing on his skin, grazing past his wrists and up his armsâ you're not exactly slow, but you're also not very fast with it, either.
no, you take your time touching dean all over again, fingertips tracing over every scar and dent you could see and feel as you're straddling him. your eyes flick up to his face, meeting his gaze once moreâ but you just keep touching him.
"oh, look at you," your voice is an awed whisper while your hands move on deanâs chest, grazing on the anti-possession tattoo he had on his skin. "see? youâre perfect."
and dean canât help the little shiver your touch brings him right now, even though he's literally just laying below you, half-propped up by the pillows like you once were. he just canât help it, because youâve always been able to get the best reactions out of him.
dean swallows hard as your hands continue their journey over his bodyâ your fingertips roaming over his skin, tracing all the scars heâd earned, right across his chest and down to his stomach.
and his breath actually hitches when you touch his anti-possession tattoo again.
your fingers trace on deanâs tattoo, watching and loving his reactions to just your freakin' hands.
and your hands stay resting on deanâs chest, but a little closer to his shoulders, shifting closer to him in his lap, pressing the entirety of your bare body completely against his.
your voice is still a whisper when you talk again, searching his face as you ask him to do what you've always wanted to.
because you needed to show dean how much you wanted him.
"can i ride you?"
if dean was hard before, it's nothing compared to the way his dick almost hurts now, throbbing at the way you asked permission to ride him.
"god, yes" is what comes out from dean's clenched jaw, and his gaze is locked onto yours as his hands rest on your hips.
a soft smile tugs on your lips again, your gaze flicking down for a brief moment when you hear how strained deanâs voice wasâ and the sight of him hard for you sends a wave of heat that pools in your stomach, making you clench around nothing.
because you needed dean just as badly as he needed you.
your eyes flick back up to deanâs green ones. and you notice that neither of you are nervous for his to happen. this was dean, after all. you'd wanted him in the least friendly way possible for as long as you could rememberâ and now? it was actually going to come true.
you didnât have to ask dean anything else, or even say something. he wanted all of youâ and you were going to give it to him.
so thatâs why you shift a little, reaching down and guiding yourself to sink onto dean, keeping his gaze while your hands are still on his shoulders.
a broken groan escapes dean when you start to lower yourself down on himâ and his own bodyâs reaction to your walls sucking him in just makes him want you even more.
dean lets his gaze travel all across your faceâ and heâs still looking right into your eyes when he lets himself go completely slack underneath you, letting you take the lead.
your fingers dig a little into deanâs shoulder at the burning sensation of your pussy being stretchedâ and your breath hitches, hard. your head falls forward a little as you screw your eyes shut.
your mind had felt like it was going over a thousand miles per second, but when your legs finally hit dean's and your pussy hits the base of his dick, everything just... goes away.
and dean couldnât keep himself completely still anymore. he actually growled a little when he felt you fully sink down on him, and the sound that left him when he feels your tightness around him was a little more primal-sounding than heâd like to admit right now.
"oh, fuck," he breathes out your name, "youâre tryna kill me."
you can only respond to deanâs words with a strangled noise as the burning sensation was becoming full-throttle now, your grip on deanâs shoulders a little tighter, your head still hung as you try to keep my breathing steady.
because you literally couldnât move yet. it was still the best feeling you'd ever feltâ but you had to get used to dean's dick being buried deep inside of you before you could actually start to move on top of him.
and the way youâre holding on to his shoulders right now and how youâre trying to hold back little noises is driving dean insane.
heâs gripping your hips so tight that it has to be almost painful, and his eyes are fixed on you, still watching you while he tries to stay still for you. but it was taking a hell of a lot of effort on his part.
dean's chest is rising and falling fast, and he canât help it when he finally chokes out your name in a whisper, unable to keep it in anymore.
"move. please."
at deanâs plea, you flick your hips just a little to see if you were adjusted yet.
and oh, were you ever. your fingers finally release their death grip on deanâs shoulders, one of your hands finding and grasping one of his own that was on your hipâ and you finally start to move on top of him, rocking your hips into his.
the groan that escapes dean is the deepest one yet, his hand clutching onto yours and his eyes shutting for a moment as he feels you moving, his free hand tightening on your hip again.
"oh, god," dean gasps out, "jesusâ"
you let out a raggedy exhale mixed with a moan, attempting to stop your eyes from rolling back into your head as you continue to ride dean's dick. it was hard, but you managed to keep your eyes open and half-lidded and on him, wanting to see his faceâ and you grind your hips into his faster and harder.
seeing you like this was getting to be borderline unbearable for dean.
your tits are bouncing a little in dean's face, and you're just not letting up, and you're so tight and warm, and he just fuckin' loves youâ
dean realizes he's gonna cum if you keep this up.
and the embarrassing part is you barely even started riding him.
so itâs a damn good thing heâs still got a shred of control over himself right now.
"jeâ sâ slow it down for a sec, darlin'," dean manages to get out, gritting his teeth as his eyes screw shut. "please."
the moment those words leave deanâs mouth, you immediately do as he saysâ you donât abruptly stop, instead gradually slowing your movements to allow for an easy transition.
your hand trails up from dean's shoulder to cup on the side of his face while your're still on top of himâ your eyes then search his when you breathlessly whisper to him.
"you okay?"
dean opens his eyes when you ask him if heâs okay right now, knowing that was pure concern in your words. heâs taking a moment to let his body level out a bit, since you stopped like he asked you to. and when he does, he manages a nod once heâs able to somehow form words.
"yeah, 'm good, darlinââ" dean swallows and takes a big gulp of air. "just got a 'lil too close to the edge for a second there. donât wanna blow it right now."
an exhale of relief you didnât know you were holding in was let out at deanâs confirmationâ and your thumb almost absentmindedly grazes on the skin of his cheek as your hand was still on the side of his face.
"oh," you also nod, gaze softening as you look down at dean under you still. his words make you feel warm inside, along with a little sense of pride, tooâ but you still had to confirm. "it doesnât hurt, though, right?"
"doesnât hurt,â dean responds immediately. and thatâs a bit of a complete understatement, because being inside of you right now felt like heaven. his own hand comes up to where yours is, his fingers skimming over your skin as he smiles softly up at you once more. "just wanna be able to last a 'lil bit longer for you, 's all."
your eyebrows scrunch together at that, and your expression is almost goddamn melted at this point as you look down at dean. you weren't sure why those words impacted you so much, but your chest tightens with emotion before you speak again.
"oh, de," you literally whisper, your thumb still skimming back and forth on deanâs cheek. "y'know you donât have to do that."
"yeah, i do," dean murmurs immediately in response, looking right into your eyes the whole time he talks. "i've wanted thisâ you for goddamn years. i'm not lettin' this end yet."
so you don't.
you nod, leaning in and pressing a kiss on dean's lips before you talk again.
"okay," you nod against his forehead. "just move me when you want to, alright?"
dean gratefully nods, too, appreciating your understanding. his hands find and hold your hips againâthis time, with less of a death-grip. and after he takes a steadying breath, he starts to move you.
you just let dean work and grind your hips into his own, holding his shoulder and face with your hands, allowing him to take what he needed and set the pace.
after a while, though, dean lifts you up off his dick by your hips a few inches before setting you back down fully, repeating the motionâ starting to actually fuck you a little.
you'd been quiet for the most part so farâ but once the head of dean's dick brushes against that spongy spot deep inside of you, a string of broken moans and gasps spill from your lips.
and that just spurs dean on.
you'd both waited long enough now. it's been years of stolen looks, suppressed jealousy, unspoken thoughts and feelingsâ and tonight, you're making it all come true in the darkness of the motel room.
thank god dean's hands had been guiding your hipsâ because you're starting to unravel faster than you can comprehend. and so is dean.
dean's fucking up into you now like he'll never be able to fuck you againâ which you both know wasn't true. and after tonight, you know you'd happily sleep with dean's dick buried inside of your pussy.
it takes only a whimper falling from your lips for dean to know that you're closeâ and your hand flies down to one of his on your hips again. he gladly takes it, wanting to hold your hand when he cums inside of youâ
wait. is he allowed to do that?
"yâ oh," dean groans out your nameâ he has not been silent throughout this entire ordeal, either. broken noises of pleasure and little groans of your name escaped his lips whenever your walls clenched around him. "can iâ godâ"
you didn't have to ask what dean meant by that. you nod almost frantically as his hand are still gripping your hips, guiding your pussy up and down his dickâ and you squeeze his other hand tighter, the one you were holding.
and only then does dean let himself go, again.
your orgasm comes at the same time dean's doesâ and you both arch into each other and trembling as your moans echo off the motel room's walls. dean's face buries between your tits and groans into the skin while he spills up into you, your juices mixing with his.
you both stay like that for a while, naked, sweating, slick and gasping for air for god knows how longâ until dean's raw and breathless voice vibrating on your breasts breaks the silence.
"i think i was made for you."

While I'm here I want to talk about how Epic characterises Odysseus, and why criticisms that Jay âgives him a conscienceâ misunderstand both the Odyssey and what Epic is actually doing.
First: the claim that Homerâs Odysseus didnât feel guilt or grief just isnât true. He does express regret, sorrow, even shame, just rarely in the moment, and rarely in overt ways. But the man weeps constantly. He breaks down when hearing songs of Troy. He mourns his fallen men. He carries the weight of what heâs done, even if he couches it in calculation and cleverness.
And when people say Jayâs version of Odysseus is somehow "softer" or overly moralized, theyâre not only flattening Homerâs character â theyâre missing the thematic project of the musical entirely.
Jay isn't writing a story where Odysseus learns "to be ruthless and let go of mercy." Thatâs one thread. But if we take it as the core arc, then yes, you might reasonably ask: why does he hesitate to kill now, when the Iliad Odysseus did far worse without flinching?
The answer lies in "Just a Man," the linchpin of the musical and a crucial catalyst for Odysseusâ internal arc. In it, heâs asked to kill an innocent child, and he does. But not before hesitating, asking: "Will these actions haunt my days? / Every man I've slain / Is the price I pay endless pain?"
The killing of the infant, possibly the darkest moment in the musical, comes as he says, âIâm just a man,â right after asking, âWhen does a man become a monster?â He drops the baby as he says it. Weâre not meant to believe heâs not a monster. Weâre meant to see that he doesnât want to believe it.
That moment haunts the rest of the show. He didn't become ruthless when he dropped the baby, he already was; war changed him so completely that at the end of it, he was able to kill a baby that looked just like the son he left 10 years prior, and that terrifies him.
And the fear doesnât go away. In "Open Arms," Polites is essentially telling him that war has changed him, and he carries it with him even now, after it's over. That truth unsettles Odysseus so deeply (who in the song prior is literally running "full speed ahead" away from his actions, away from war, convinced he can just get home and leave it all behind) that a goddess has to intervene to steady him.
When he faces the Cyclops, he tries to justify the violence: "It's just one life to take / And when we kill him, then our journeyâs over." But the tone is clear: this is self-reassurance.
And Odysseus does this a lot in Epic! Thereâs a pattern of him trying to reassure himself and his crew that theyâre almost there, that if they can just get through this trial, theyâll be home. He insists that their journey is nearly over again and again, that their families are still waiting, that everything will be fine, that they can still make it home.
But these arenât promises, theyâre hopes dressed as certainty. He has no real reason to believe any of it. It doesnât matter. He says it anyway. Because if he stops believing it, even for a moment, the weight of what he's done, and what he's become, might crush him (we see this play out explicitly in both "The Underworld" and "Love in Paradise"). These arenât just reassurances. Theyâre quiet, desperate lies. Mostly to himself.
Even delirious with exhaustion, he clings to this idea: "So much has changed / But I'm the same, yes, Iâm the same."
But he isnât. And he knows it. Odysseus is afraid the war will never end, not because of geography or gods, but because heâs afraid the war has already changed him beyond return. And that is one of the major ideas we can take from the Odyssey. As Emily Wilson observed, the long journey home is not just physical, itâs existential. The question isnât just can he return, but who will return if he does.
So when Odysseus later embraces brutality, when he says, "Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves / And deep down I know this well," itâs not a turning point. Itâs a confession. Heâs admitting that this capacity for violence has always been there. And itâs Penelopeâs danger that makes him stop pretending otherwise.
Thatâs the true arc: not from man to monster, but from denial to acknowledgment. Not the loss of conscience, but the unbearable weight of it.
And thatâs why it matters that itâs Penelope who is in danger when he finally stops clinging to who he used to be. Itâs for her sake that he embraces what heâs become. And in that moment, he knows she might not love him anymore. He chooses the path that will lead him home no matter what anyway.
#epic the musical#odysseus#idk i just get annoyed that ppl take a face value reading of both epic and the odyssey and say jay changed him too much#he didn't!#odypen#odysseus x penelope#odysseus of ithaca#epic#epic odysseus

The End: 27th December 2024Â
"Careful!"Â
You quickly swerved to the side of the road, the car screeching to a stop as the honking truck zoomed past you.
Fuck. Gripping the steering wheel tight, you let out a sigh of relief, your wandering thoughts returning to the present. That was close.Â
The man beside you mumbled something under his breath as he unbuckled his seatbelt before alighting the car and opened your door, wordlessly asking you to get out.
You complied, allowing him to take over your role as the driver and quietly slid in the passenger seat.
Adjusting the mirror he glanced up and down the snow clad road before driving off into the darkness. Again, without saying a word.Â
That's how things had been between the two of you for a while now. Silent.Â
Some might say that after nearly 10 years of being together, the two of you didn't need words to communicate anymore, you just understood each other so well. But only you knew the reality - there was nothing left to say. Everything was at the edge of falling apart.Â
You glanced down at your hands, fingers fidgeting. Yes it was cold but it was the emptiness that bothered you.Â
Your boyfriend shot you a look before his hand hovered over the controls of the car.Â
"Are you feeling cold?"Â
See, he didn't understand. He never seemed to understand. And you were tired of explaining but a tiny voice in your head said to try just once more.Â
"My mum was asking why there's no ring yet?" Caressing the fingers of your left hand, you looked up, far off at the skies where the morning sun still hadn't made its way up.Â
âAnd what did you say?âÂ
You turned to him, not hiding the incredulous expression donning your face, âWhat am I supposed to say Jun?â He looked straight ahead, eyes more focused on the road than required. âHow does one answer a question like this?âÂ
His Adam's apple bobbed with his gulp. âThat....weâre not ready?âÂ
âAnd looking at us, who will buy that?âÂ
Jun kept quiet again, perhaps because he knew you were right.
The two of you had been together for the majority of your lives which meant your families, friends, colleagues all were a consistent witness of your relationship. Even over the last week, when you were spending Christmas with your family at the ski cabin, your sister wouldnât stop talking about how you two were perfect for one another. She didnât know that behind closed doors, in the privacy of your room, the two of you slept with your backs facing each other.
Jun sighed, noticing you were getting lost in your thoughts again. âWhy do we have to justify ourselves to anyone anyways Y/n? This is our life-âÂ
âYouâre right, thereâs no need to justify anything to anyone. But you can tell me why, right?â You half turned towards him, leaning against the car door. âYou and I can talk about why weâre nearing our thirties and still havenât made any decision about getting married?âÂ
âJesus, twenty five is not considered thirties Y/n." He rolled his eyes exasperated. "Besides, what does age have to do with marriage? Getting married should be something that we decide because we want to spend our lives with each other.â
You blinked at him. âThen do you not want to spend your life with-â
âI did not say that.â He glanced at you before quickly looking back at the road. âOf course, I do. Baby, you and I live together, we do everything together, we are as good as married-â
âSo then a wedding would just be a formality right-â
âNo, it would be a show!â You flinched a little as he raised his voice, annoyed. âIt would be to show the world something, to prove to others that we are committed and will last through it all, as though signing a few documents is a guarantee of that.â
âMarriage isnât just about that Jun. Do you have any idea how many things will become easier - buying a house, getting loans, so many logistics-â
He scoffed, shaking his head slowly. âThatâs what marriage is to you? A practical, logical, legal binding?âÂ
Biting your lower lip you let out a deep breath. âIf you think it should mean much more or that it should be made purely on emotions then whatâs stopping you? Or do you not love me anymore-â
âWhy would you say that?â He groaned, like he was tired of this conversation. âI do love you, more than anything. Which is why I want you to be able to focus on yourself without taking the burden of a marriage. I want you to fulfill all the dreams you have for your career, for your professional growth-â
âJun, I can do all of that while being married too-â
âMarriage changes people! It changes priorities, it changes expectations-â
âSo thatâs what youâre afraid of? Expectations? Because I expect you to be a bit more responsible? To get your act together-â
âIt wonât stop at that will it?â He sighed. âThis is all our life is going to be - First itâll be about dividing household chores, whoâll do dishes, whoâll take out the trash. Next itâll be about finding the perfect house and having children-âÂ
âWeâve talked about this and you said you didnât have a problem with having children Jun.â You snapped at him, triggered at his words. âIâm not getting any younger here-â
âAnd Iâve not grown up!â He slammed the wheel with his hand. âI do want to have kids someday but not now, not any time soon. I⊠I can barely look after myself, how am I going to look after a child? And if Iâm incapable it will mean that you will have to carry the burden of it all - of raising the child, of me and of yourself and I donât want that for you.â
You fell silent again, realising that the conversation was going just like it always did.
You would go on to insist that you were ready for whatever was to come and the time was right now, Jun would insist that he isnât willing to let you take on so much and that marriage shouldnât be about timing, it should be about wanting to be with each other. You would then claim heâs being too emotionally driven about this and he would claim that you were being too practical and the conversation would just be about the two of you justifying your point of views, reaching no conclusion.Â
This is what happened every single time. This was what was going to happen again now. And frankly, you were tired of it.Â
âWhen did we start wanting such different things?â You glanced at the road that disappeared into the darkness. The early morning light was not enough to illuminate the path ahead. âI thoughtâŠ. we were perfect for each other, that we were meant to be. After nearly ten years, where did it all go wrong?â
You didnât mean for it to sound hurtful, but Jun had always been the sensitive one. Â
âJust because weâre not in the same frame of mind right now, doesnât mean all the years we shared mean nothing.â
âBut what does it mean?â You smiled sadly. âWe arenât growing, we arenât able to help each other grow, what was the point of it all? Ten years andâŠ. we achieved nothing.âÂ
It was like you were leaving arrow after arrow to pierce his heart - he knew you were the reasonable kind - always planning, always making lists, always marking milestones. Whatever you were saying now, had to be the result of a moment of frustration, not because you were questioning the love that you had for each otherâŠ. right?Â
You werenât regretting this, were you?Â
He let out the breath he was holding. âThen maybe it would have been better if the last ten years didnât happen at all.âÂ
Please say Iâm wrong Y/n. Please say prove me wrong, please say weâre worth it.Â
Although you were never really one to be driven by emotions, Jun always was. The one who never forgot anniversaries, the one who always tried to make every moment special, the one who always reminded you that you were not each otherâs habits but each otherâs love. Had things gone so far that the man who savoured every moment of being in love with you, thought it was better that you never met?Â
âIs that what you really think?â You whispered, ignoring the feeling of something pricking the back of your eyes.Â
Jun turned to you surprised. How could you even think that? Of course not-
âCareful!âÂ
Headlights beamed from right across, but this time, Junâs quick swerve was not enough.Â
As the car skidded wildly, with a sickening crunch it slammed into the side of the oncoming truck, the momentum sending it toppling over, rolling violently onto its roof with a screech of metal. As it came to a stop, the sun rose from above the clouds far away and steam rose from what was remaining of the crumpled vehicle. In the heavy stillness that followed, alongside the eerie whisper of the wind, streams of red mixed with the white of the snow.Â
Your boyfriendâs hand extending towards you was the last thing you saw before everything went black.Â
The Afterlife: 31st December 2024Â
Pain.Â
Unbearable pain.Â
That's what was searing through his body, over and over again. Everywhere, in every inchâŠ. Just pain.Â
Perhaps because he hadnât stopped running.Â
Jun had been running in the forest for what seemed like forever. Where to? He had no idea. Where from? He didnât know that either.Â
All he knew was he was looking for something he had lost. Something clearly precious to him. Something he couldnât live without.Â
Yet ignorantly, he kept running. Until....
Jun.
Your voice echoed around him like a soft whisper. Finally stopping by the lake, he looked around, frantically trying to find you.Â
It was then, across the frozen crystal clear waters he saw you - beautiful as ever, the only bright thing in the dark, daunting woods.Â
He wanted to go to you, he wanted to be with you but the slippery ice didnât let him take a step forward.Â
Instead, you took a step back.Â
Then another one.Â
Then another.Â
Jun continued to call out your name, trying to stop you from receding into the shadows but in vain. Slowly you disappeared into the darkness, the black of the woods engulfing you as Jun fell to his knees, the ice cracking under him.Â
Shutting his eyes, he attempted to stop the pain but it only got worse. It was just pain, pain, pain.Â
When he opened them, white flickering lights were strangely swaying above him.Â
Blinking, Jun tried to see clearly but just then, the ice finally gave away, submerging him into the cold waters.Â
As the icy waters of the lake dragged him down, Jun felt his eyes slowly shut again and your name was the last thing he remembered.
The Awakening: 27th January 2025Â
The blur flickering light of the ceiling became clear as the rhythmic beeping of machines slowly pulled him from the depths of unconsciousness.
Head throbbing and body aching, an unsettling sense of disorientation washed over him, like he had been asleep for too long. Slowly raising himself on his elbows, Jun looked around, eyes finding the strange setting of a hospital room, the overwhelming smell of antiseptic finally hitting him.Â
Shutting his eyes again, he tried to recollect what happened, how he ended up hereâŠâŠ
âY/nâŠâÂ
The argument.Â
The crash.
The sight of your eyes fluttering shut as blood trickled down your face.Â
âFuck.â He mumbled, looking at all the tubes and wires attached to him, holding him back. Without an ounce of care, he tugged them off, triggering the loud alarms of the machines but before his feet even touched the cold tile of the floor, the doors flung open and a handful of people donning impeccably white coats spilled in, looking worried.
âSir, please donât-â
âWhereâs Y/n?â
âYou need to calm down, youâre not ok-â
He grabbed the collar of the man before him. âDonât tell me to calm down. Where is Y/n?â
âWeâŠâ The doctor looked terrified. âWho is Y/n?â
Annoyed, Jun tugged on his shirt harder. âThe car crash, there was a woman with me in the car, in the passenger seat, where is she?âÂ
âWhat woman?â The man stuttered, looking at his team confused. âYou were brought to our hospital alone.âÂ
Shocked, Jun loosened his grip, allowing the doctor to quickly move back, putting himself at an armâs distance.Â
Alone?
âThatâs not possibleâŠ.â He muttered. âShe was with me, she should be hereâŠâÂ
âThe accident happened in the countryside so you were taken to the nearest emergency care but your injuries were too severe so they shifted you here, to the city hospital.â The doctor looked at him slightly hesitating. âMaybe there was a woman with you, but she wasnât brought here. Either her condition wasnât serious enough or she didnâtâŠ.â
Eyes narrowing, Jun looked at the shivering man before him. âShe didnât, what?â
âS-she didnât make it-â
âHow dare you?â He spoke between gritted teeth, charging towards the doctor, only to be quickly held back by the nurses around him. âHow dare you even suggest something like that-â
âMr. Junhui, I was only stating the possibility-â
âWhat youâre saying is not possible-â
âSir please, your heart rate is getting erratic-â
âI donât care, I need to find her-â
âYou canât leave.â
âStop me if you can.â Jun pulled himself free from the grip of those around him, leaving for the door, glaring at the crowd challengingly.Â
Only one of them dared to step forward - a woman, one not wearing a doctorâs coat, looking at him with sympathy rather than fear.Â
âSir pleaseâŠ.â She whispered softly, slowly approaching him, ignoring the worried looks of those around her. âI understand your worry and Iâm so sorry for this but you need to calm downâŠ. I have no other choice.âÂ
Jun frowned as she neared, maintaining a strong, unavoidable eye contact, the contents of her hands completely missing his vision. Before he could understand what was happening, there was a prick in his arm, hands reaching out to him and the flickering light blurred again as his eyes shut.Â
28th January 2025
âLet me go.âÂ
The events from about 24 hours ago had repeated again.Â
The fluttering lights, the machines, the wires, the tubes, the doctors - everything happened in the same sequence except there was one difference this time. When Jun tried to pull on the wires and swing his legs off the bed, he found all four of his limbs restrained.Â
âPlease.â He whispered. âI need to find Y/n.â
âSir, there really was no woman brought along with you.â The womanâs eyes reflected the same sympathy they had since the day he had been wheeled in. âWe got your records from the emergency center you were taken to.âÂ
Pulling out a bunch of papers from a file, she placed it on his lap. âThere was a woman with you but she was discharged from there within a week.â
âA-a week?â Jun stuttered, looking around. âHow long has it been since the accident?âÂ
âAlmostâŠâ She looked at the papers thoughtfully. âAlmost a month. Youâve been unconscious all this while, you sustained a traumatic injury to your-â
âWhat about Y/n?âÂ
Stepping up and reading through the papers, the doctor from earlier spoke with his expertise. âShe had a severe injury on her head too but she gained consciousness about a week after the accident and sheâŠ. just left.âÂ
âJust left?â It felt as though something cold was just dumped on his head. âJust left me?âÂ
âMr. Jun, weâre not sure what exactly happened butâŠ.â The woman looked at him uncertainly. âThe last few weeks that you were here, no woman has come to visit you. Y/n hasnât been around.âÂ
Jun let out a shaky breath, âShe probably didnât know I was here. She⊠she must be looking for me, she must be so worried. I should go to her-âÂ
âYouâre not well enough to leave.â The doctor spoke from behind the woman, worried even though Junâs movements were restrained. âI wouldnât suggest-âÂ
âI donât want your suggestion. I want you to open these-â He tugged on the belts. â-so I can go.âÂ
Everyone exchanged looks, shifting in their places.
âOpen them!âÂ
âAgain, Iâm sorry Mr. Jun.â The woman approached him slowly, an injection clearly visible in her hand this time. âThis is for your good.âÂ
Once again, everything became blur before it all went dark.Â
31st January 2025
âShe didnât pick the call.â The woman without a coat, whoâs name Jun learnt was Mira, walked up to him. âAgain.âÂ
Sighing, Jun looked outside the window. The streets were busy - cars were going up and down, people were walking about, some laughing, some stressed. But everything was moving, everyone was moving. Only his life had come to a standstill.Â
âDo you remember anyone elseâs number?âÂ
Jun shook his head. âWho even memorises numbers these days? Everything is stored on my phone-â
â-which broke in the accident.â She finished for him.Â
âI only remember my girlfriendâs number because she forced me to remember it in case of emergencies like these.â He chuckled softly, walking up to the wall with the pictures of the two of you stuck all over. He ran his fingers over the picture of you hugging him from behind, head resting on his shoulder. âShe was always so well prepared, always a step aheadâŠ.. except now.â
When Jun woke up 3 days ago, Mira had been there to tell him you were nowhere to be found. She had looked for you at home, which had been abandoned for over a month, at the library where you often worked on your projects, at the stores where you preferred to shop, at the park where you jogged every morning. You were nowhere.Â
Your family was nowhere to be seen either - the house was locked and the neighbours claimed they had gone somewhere overseas. There was no trace of you at all - it was like you had vanished into thin air, like you were just a mirage, a dream.Â
âI wish I could help Jun.â Mira walked up to him, placing her hand on his shoulder, looking around his apartment. âIâm sorry the only thing I could assist you with is getting you back home. But I had someone clean up the place so it should be more habitable now.âÂ
âThank you Mira, for everything.â He muttered, slowly moving her arm away, tearing his eyes away from the photographs. âIâm sorry, I⊠I think I shouldâŠ.. shower, I smell like the hospital.âÂ
She nodded as Jun disappeared into the washroom, wordlessly asking her to leave. Grabbing her bag, she shot him one last sad look as she hesitatingly made her way out.Â
Standing before the mirror, Jun sighed at his reflection - he had never seen himself look this lifeless. Wincing in pain, he removed his shirt slowly, pulling it over his head - almost healed gashes and wounds were littered all over his torso.Â
The memory of an injured you flashed behind his shut eyes.
âWhere are you Y/n?â He whispered, trying not to let his voice shake. âCome back to me.âÂ
Jun glanced at the small coffee shop across the road, one he had never seen before, the hanging sign board slowly swaying in the cold wind - Lonely Hearts Cafe.Â
So many things had changed over the last month. He, who was the biggest homebody known to mankind, could not bear to stay in his house for another minute. Not where every inch of it was filled with the essence of you, where everything was a reminder of you. A part of him was relieved that there were pictures and traces of you were everywhere - that meant you were real, not a figment of his imaginationâŠ. but that also made your absence hurt more.Â
He had spent the last few hours wandering the streets mindlessly, trying not to let everything outside the haven the two of you built together remind him of you too.Â
But there you were, in your favourite pizza shop on the corner of the street, munching on a slice. Just as he approached, shocked and frantic, you disappeared, like you were never there. And then he saw you again, at the hairdressers this time, getting just the ends trimmed, like always. And then you were by the butchers, petting that little dog you adored. And then by the lake, glancing at the frozen waters, vanishing as usual when he approached to stand by you. Even though you werenât really around, his eyes found the memories of you everywhere - it was like he didnât know a life without you.Â
There was no life without you. Â
The cafe he was currently staring at was perhaps the only place that Jun knew he wouldnât see you. It looked new, like a business that had just freshly found itself in this vicinity but something about it was also whimsical and fairytale-like, as though it was someoneâs old dream came true. Jun had never been a coffee kinda guy - Chinese tea was usually his go-to beverage so it didnât make sense why he felt this strange urge to go in. Maybe because he knew he wouldnât be haunted by your absence there.
At first, he took a step ahead, attempting to go towards it but he was unable to take another - he didnât want to not see you. Even though it hurt, heâd rather see the memories of you everywhere than familiarise himself with a life without you.Â
So shaking his head, he turned away, heading back home, going back to everything that reminded him of you whenâŠâŠ something caught his eye.Â
At first, he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him again because there was no wayâŠ.Â
Inching closer, ignoring the oncoming traffic and the screaming drivers, he crossed the road, standing right before the large glass windows of the shop. Slowly raising his hand, he wiped the condensation off the frosted glass, catching a clear sight of what was inside.Â
You.Â
There you were, walking about in a little checkered apron, placing cups of coffee on the table as you flashed your bright smile at those who were seated.Â
Squeezing his eyes shut, Jun turned around, fists tightened painfully. Youâll disappear again, just like all those times before, youâll disappear again, he was just imagining this, projecting his innermost desire. You werenât really hereâŠ.right?Â
But the sound of your laughter told him he was wrong. Quickly turning back, he caught sight of you again, making your way to the counter, putting cash into a large glass jar on the wooden shelf.Â
As though in a trance, Jun walked over to the door and pushed it open, eyes not leaving you as you laughed and scribbled something down on a notepad before walking to the tables with a bounce in your strut he had never seen before.Â
Just as your name found itself on the tip of his tongue, you stopped your tracks and turned around, eyes finding him walking in, lips curling with a wide smile.Â
âHi sir, welcome to Lonely Hearts Cafe.â Clutching the notepad to your chest, you beamed at him. âDo you want to take a seat or get a drink to go?âÂ
âY/nâŠâ He whispered, barely able to hear himself, taking a small step ahead.
âOh I almost forgot,â You softly smacked your head. âIf youâre interested, weâre having a small valentines special event, for singles. Any two people who get the exact same drink will be paired to sit at the same table. Itâs kind of a âif your tastes match, maybe you guys will tooâ sort of concept?âÂ
Given he was staring at you with a vacant expression, you blinked at him like you werenât quite sure if he understood.Â
Jun didnât understand. Why were you behaving like he was a stranger? Like you didnât know him.Â
MaybeâŠ. this wasnât you.
âSoâŠâ Tucking your loose fringes behind your ear, you tried searching his face for an answer. âWhat would you like?âÂ
Junâs eyes flickered to the healing gash on your forehead, the night of the accident, flashing in his mind again.Â
It was you. There was no doubt it was you.Â
And so without a second thought, Jun took two big strides, pulling you towards him, wrapping his arms around you tightly, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
âExcuse me?! Sir-â
âWhere have you been?â He muttered, not realising you were struggling to break free from his grip. âIâve been looking for you-â
âGet off me!â Using all your strength, you pushed him off you, causing the man to take a few staggering steps back, shocked.Â
All heads in the cafe turned towards the two of you, a strange silence descending upon the room before hushed whispers broke out. Flashing a fake smile at everyone, you quickly grabbed Jun by his wrist, leading him out of the cafe, shutting the door behind you.Â
âWhat the hell was that?â You glared at him. âSir, I donât know who you think you are, but that was unacceptable.âÂ
Jun blinked at you confused. âI thoughtâŠ.I thought-âÂ
âI donât care what you thought.â You crossed your arms looking stern, all the warmth from earlier having left your being. âIf I ever see you in my cafe again, I swear to god I will call the cops.â
âYouâŠâ Jun looked at you incredulously. âYouâll call the cops on me?âÂ
âMost definitely.âÂ
It didnât make sense. None of this made sense. Why would you call the cops on him? Were you mad at him about something?
Junâs racked his mind, trying to think of the last conversation the two of you had. The night of the accident. He couldnât remember all too well, but the image of you glancing at your empty ring finger flashed in his mind.Â
âIs this aboutâŠ.getting married?â You frowned as Jun ran his hands through his hair. âIf it really means this much to you then, fine, letâs get married. I just wanted it to be-â
âMarried?â You looked at him like you couldnât believe what he was saying. âWhy on Earth would I marry you? I donât even know you-â
âJun!âÂ
At the sound of his name, Jun turned around, only to find himself being slammed into the familiar chest of a tall, lanky man. The fragrance of expensive perfume immediately told him who it was - His best friend Minghao. As Jun tried to break free from his friendâs untimely interruption, Minghao held him tight, whispering in his ear.Â
âDonât say a word.âÂ
âMr. Xu.â You glanced at the intertwined figures of both men, eyebrows furrowed. âYou know this man?âÂ
âY/n.â Breaking free, Minghao threw his arm around Jun, flashing a hard smile. âThis is Jun, heâs a dear friend. Sorry if he said anything or got out of line - he was just discharged from the hospital after a big accident, heâs a bit disoriented.âÂ
âOh.â You looked at him up and down as though it all made sense and you were unable to decide whether to feel sympathetic or stand your ground. âMr. Jun, Iâm sorry you went through all that but whatever you did, that was not appropriate at all.âÂ
âY/n what-â
âYes of course.â Minghao squeezed Junâs shoulder, shutting him up. âHe wonât be troubling you again.âÂ
âIf you really do need a cup of coffee, there are a lot more shops down the street that Iâm sure will suit your taste.â You took a step back, reaching for the door again, expression unreadable. âPlease donât come back to me.âÂ
With that you pushed the door open and disappeared into the cafe allowing Minghao to finally let go of his friend who turned to him, beyond confused.Â
âWhatâŠ. What was that?â He pointed at you, waiting the tables again inside, like nothing happened. Like he didnât exist.Â
âJunâŠâ Minghao let out a shaky breath, looking carefully at his friend. âLetâs go home, Iâll explain everything.â
âNo.â Shaking his head frantically, he reached for the door again. âIâm not going anywhere without Y/n.âÂ
Moving quickly, Minghao put himself in between, blocking the way.Â
âPlease.â He held his hand out. âY/n, sheâŠ. she wonât come with you.â
Jun looked at him incredulously. âWhy not?âÂ
âBecause she doesnât rememberâŠ.â Minghao spoke slowly, watching his friendâs face carefully. âShe doesnât remember you.âÂ
The throbbing pain was back.Â
Actually, it never left. The pain was always there, it was him who had suppressed it under everything else. But with the revelation of things, it became unhinged, freely coursing in his being, hurting everywhere.Â
Minghao poured Jun another cup of tea as the two men sat at the dining table, the latter still clutching a photo of you, trying to make sense of all that he was told.Â
âSheâŠ.she doesnât remember me at all?â He frowned, still confused. âBecause ofâŠ. you?âÂ
âBecause she doesnât want to.â Minghao corrected his friend, yet again. âJun, it was her choice to do the procedure.â
The procedure.Â
Minghao had spoken all about it in great detail for the last half an hour. It all went over his head though, Jun didnât register a single piece of the information thrown at him except one thing - the procedure was to remove memories.Â
Yes apparently that was a thing. A new initiative by Minghaoâs company - a simple medical procedure in which one could choose to erase their memories of a certain period of time. A process straight out of the sci-fi books - one so ridiculous, Jun would have never believed it if it werenât coming out of his best friend's mouth.Â
That his girlfriend had gotten all her memories of him wiped from her mind.Â
âIt makes no sense.â Jun shook his head. âWhy would she want to forget me? Why would she choose toâŠâ
Minghao looked at his friend staring at your photo sadly. He had always known Jun to be someone full of life - he was ambitious, passionate and always bursting with energy. But now he looked like the whole world had come crashing around him.Â
âIâm sorry Jun.â Minghao could feel the guilt eating him on the inside. âAll of it happened in my company, right under my nose but I had no idea Y/n had gotten it done till it was all over. Maybe if I had reached the clinic just a little earlier, I could have stopped them from injecting the serum-â
âNo Hao, whether you could stop her or not, it wonât change the fact that Y/n wanted toâŠ.â Jun swallowed the bile rising in his throat. âShe didnât want to just leave me or walk away from this relationship, she wanted to erase its entire existence from her life. To pretend like it never happened. But whyâŠâ
âI wish I knew Jun.â Minghao shook his head softly. âAll I know is that this choice mustn't have been easy for her - to forget you she had to have the last 10 years of her life removed. Thatâs how far she was willing to go toâŠâ
Minghao's words rang in his ears.Â
10 yearsâŠ.
Maybe it would have been better if the last ten years didnât happen at all.
The night of the accidentâŠ. that's what he had said.Â
Oh god, was that why youâŠ.
What had he done?Â
âJun?â Minghao snapped his fingers before his friend's face. âWhere are you lost-â
âThis was a mistake.â Jun shook his head. âThis was all a horrible misunderstanding. I didnât meanâŠâ
âMean what?âÂ
Jun couldnât even recall why he had said that. It was like his brain was suppressing the stupidity from recurring.Â
âI need to talk to her. I need to fix this.â
âHow exactly-â
âIâll marry her, right this instant if thatâs what it takes-â
âJun no-â
âHao, yes.â He turned to his friend, determined. âI can fix it. I can talk to her and sort this out. Just help me put her memories back again-â
âThatâs not-â
â-and Iâll make her see how much I love her-âÂ
âJun, that's not possible.â Minghao raised his voice, interrupting his friendâs rant. âDealing with memories isnât childâs play. It's one thing to remove them, but to restore them? Thatâs impossible.â
It felt like everything around was shattering. âYou mean she won't everâŠ.â
Minghao shook his head, delivering the final blow. âShe won't⊠ever.âÂ
Jun stared at the photo in his hand.Â
Minghao, who had insisted on staying the night, had hit the shower, his tea sitting cold in its cup.Â
Cold draft was blowing in through the open kitchen window. The tips of his fingers were frozen but they were not colder than the thing wrapping around his heart, eating it away. Â
Minghaoâs last words as he was lingering by the door rang in his ears.Â
âY/n chose to forget you Jun, she chose to restart her life. Maybe itâs best that you do too.âÂ
Restart his life? Pretend like you didnât exist and move on? How on Earth was he supposed to do that?Â
He glanced at the room around him - at the pictures of you on the walls, at the vase you brought back from your trip to spain, at the coasters you always made sure to use, at the rug you specifically had made to match the couch, at every single thing in his life that was a testament of you. How was he supposed to forget all of it?Â
But the truth was, you had forgotten it all. You had walked out of his life, your home and everything the two of you had built together over the last 10 years. None of this around him meant anything to you anymore.Â
You had built a new world for yourself, one which Jun had reached, lost in his thoughts. The cafe, the coffee, the customers, the infectious smile on your face, the little bounce in strut, the way your hair fell over your shoulder as youâd turn - you had built something that had no trace of him but more importantly, you looked so happy. Jun couldnât remember the last time he saw you smile this wide, or even laugh at something stupid. The winter was harsh on the city outside but everything around you seemed so warm.Â
Maybe Minghao was right. Maybe it was best that he forgot it all too.Â
1st February 2025Â
âWhere do I put this?âÂ
Jun turned to Mira who was holding up a bunch of books in her arms.Â
âThey're all cookbooks, but I'm not sure whether to put it in the box with her law books or in the one with magazines.â
âWe can just leave these out.â Taking them from here, Jun walked into the kitchen. âWe don't have to put away everything.âÂ
Sighing Mira followed him. âJun, boss said everything. Everything that belongs to her, everything that reminds you of her.âÂ
Jun stared at the books in his hands. Two hours ago, he was sprawled on the couch half asleep, your scarf wrapped around his hand, a frame with your photo in his arms. Much to his annoyance, the consistent ringing of the bell forced him to drag himself to the door and standing on the other side was Mira.Â
Jun didn't think he would ever have any reason to see her again but apparently, Mira wasn't just a random hospital staff who helped him - she was in fact Minghao's employee, a psychiatrist who worked in his Memory Wipe project and was asked by him to look after Jun till he came around, as a favour. That day when she left the apartment, she had immediately told Minghao about all that happened - that's how he found his friend declaring he was ready to marry you in front of the coffee shop. Mira though, had no idea about you or that you had your memories wiped - she only found out when Minghao, who left early in the morning for a meeting, sent her over to Junâs house with a new phone and a contract. A contract to obliterate the last 10 years of his memories.Â
âYou want me to erase her existence?â Jun furiously muttered into the phone. âHow did you even think-âÂ
âWill you be able to survive with her memories?â Even though he couldn't see his face, Jun knew Minghao was donning a sorry expression. âIt'll kill slowly you, Jun. Not being able to be with her, not being able to forget her, not being able to move on. If I had to name something worse than hell, this is it.â
For long after the call ended, Jun stared at the contact papers on the coffee table, his mind disturbed. As much as he didn't want to distance himself from you, could he really live with the fact that you'll never be his again? It had been barely 2 days since he was awake and he was already at the verge of losing his mind. Maybe it was better he too forgot it all.Â
But it also pained him to think that if both of you forgot everything, then there was no one who truly knew the kind of pure and unwavering love the two of you shared over the last ten years. At least for the sake of those, he had to stay strong, he had to live with this. But could he really?Â
And it was thoughts like this that had him rooted to his chair for over an hour.Â
âYou don't have to decide now.â Mira interrupted his cycle of thought, tired of watching his unmoving figure. âThe procedure is simple. I already have the 10 year formula ready in your name. All you have to do is just come by the centre when you're ready - one injection and it'll be done.âÂ
As much as Jun was grateful for the time, there was one thing Minghao wanted him to do immediately - clear the apartment of anything and everything that belonged to you. That's what the two of them were in the middle of right now as Mira glanced at the cookbooks in his hands.Â
âJun, whether or not you want to get the Memory Wipe, you need to get rid of all these things. You won't ever move on otherwise-âÂ
âThey're cookbooks.â Jun rolled his eyes, placing them on the shelf of the kitchen. âHas it not occurred to you that I might use these myself?â
Mira stared at him like she didn't believe him but Jun ignored her. There was no way he was going to get rid of every last bit of you. What would be left of him then?Â
All your clothes were packed and stashed in the store room, all the pictures of the two of you were taken down, your books, your things, everything was sealed and locked away. Except a few that Jun refused to let go - the lavender cream you used every night, the harmonica you loved to play, the cookbooks you swore would make you a better chef than him. Jun didn't have the heart to walk away from all of it just yet.Â
Giving up, Mira began walking away. âI'm going to put her shoes away.âÂ
âWait.â Aligning the books hurriedly, Jun quickly ran over to the closet. âMaybe just leave those heels.âÂ
Mira looked exasperated. âWhat use could you possibly have of women's footwear?â
Nothing. Jun just loved those black stilettos you wore to work - the sound of them against the wooden flooring was what told him you were home everyday.Â
âJun, this whole thing isn't just about you getting over Y/n. If you plan to do the Memory Wipe, you especially need to do thisâ Mira stood up sighing. âImagine losing 10 years of your life and coming home and finding a woman's things all over. You won't remember her, you won't know what happened, you won't have any answers, it'll drive you mad. Please, listen to me, you need to get rid of it all.â
Jun turned away, peeling his eyes from the closet as Mira put the last of your footwear in the boxes, looking at him sadly.Â
âHow did Minghao even design this procedure?â Jun glanced at the contact papers fluttering on the table. âI knew he was indulging in some biomedical R&D, I had no idea it was this intense.âÂ
Mira chuckled. âBiomedical R&D barely covers the scope of what he does. Let's just say the Xu enterprises dabble in a lot of things and the Memory Wipe is their latest project. Actually its just undergoing it's last clinical trial - itâs not even advertised or available for the public.âÂ
âHow did Y/n get to know about it then?â Jun frowned like it didn't make sense. âMinghao never talks business with me and I'm sure he's never mentioned it to her either. ThenâŠâ
âThere were a bunch of lawyers involved in the legal aspects of the clinical trials.â Mira confessed, shrugging. âMaybe she heard from someone in the fraternity.âÂ
âFunny.â Jun smiled sadly. âY/n has never been one for office gossip. She just liked to get her work done and head straight back home. It was always about efficiency and not wasting time.â
Mira smiled. âThat's an admirable work ethic.âÂ
âRight? I wish I had that.â Jun glanced out of the window at the snow tumbling out of the sky. âMaybe she wouldn't have had to work so hard if I did.â
âWhat do you mean?âÂ
Jun glanced at Mira who had joined him, before continuing to stare out.Â
âY/n always believed in working hard. For her, a job was simply a means to make money. She didn't associate it with dreams or passion, it was just⊠survival? Me on the other hand, ever since I was a child, all I wanted to do was be an actor. I spent the last, god knows how many years, chasing that dream, picturing myself before the cameras, walking down red carpets. If I look back at my life, all I see are auditions and rejections and more rejections.âÂ
âIt's not wrong to want to live your dream.âÂ
âNo it's not but I don't know how right it is to live with your head in the clouds. Y/n always had her feet on the ground - that was the only reason we survived through it all.âÂ
âSo your story is the âopposites attractâ kind?âÂ
âI guess.â Jun laughed softly. âWe were polar opposites actually. She hates talking, I'm always chatting away. She's a mess, I'm neat. She hates doing household chores, I love doing them. Even in food, she loves sweet things, I like them spicy. Our preferences in anything, be it music or movies or where to go or what to wear, they were always so different but I guessâŠ.that's what made things fun. Sometimes she'd adjust for me, sometimes me for her, and though things weren't going our way, we were happy because we were making each other happy.âÂ
âWow.â Mira let out a breath. âI always thought being in love with someone entirely from me would be difficult to handle.â
âIf I'm being honest, there were times it did get difficult.â Jun wiped the condensation off the window with his hand, catching sight of your cafe across the street. âY/n lived life like it was a checklist. Graduating high school at 18, then law school at 23, first job at 24, marriage at 25, three kids by the time she's 30, retired by 55, starting an organic farm business at 57 and then dying whenever - she had her whole life planned. Me on the other hand, I⊠live in the moment, go where life takes me. Everything around us is so uncertain, think about the accidentâ
Junâs voice shook as fragments of it flashed in his head.
âWe could have died, life as we know could have ended, so what's the point in deciding everything so prematurely? I take life by the day, I enjoy every moment - one day I'm doing martial arts classes for kids, one day I'm teaching old women some Chinese dishes, one day I'm doing a modelling contract. End of the day, I still make money to feed myself and pay my bills, I just don't go to bed having the next 10 years of my life planned and somehowâŠ.. I think that's what drove us apart. That's why sheâŠâ Jun let out a deep breath. âThat's why she decided to start afresh. Her practicality and my emotional disposition just⊠didn't find any middle ground.âÂ
Mira softly placed her hand on Jun's shoulder, caressing it with her thumb. Clearing his throat, he took a step back, tearing his eyes away from the coffee house.Â
âWe should probably continue with the packing.âÂ
Mira nodded as she followed him, the two of them sorting things silently this time. Normally Jun wouldn't ever let go of a chance to talk about you, but now, given he had to speak about you in past tense, Jun couldn't bring himself to talk about you over and over again. Minghao was right, it was all just getting harder and harder.
And so, the next few hours were navigated in mostly silence and occasional questions. By the time the sun had begun to set, the two of them were done - all of your things had been neatly packed and put in the store room, the door locked, keys stashed in Mira's pocket for safe keeping. A couple of things had been piled by the door to be thrown out, Jun's take out dinner had arrived and Mira was lingering by the door, ready to leave. Yet the contract papers were sitting on the table, like an elephant in the room. Unable to hold herself back anymore, Mira sighed.Â
âJun, I know Minghao left the choice to you but as a professional and as someone who cares about you, I think it's best youâŠ. " She gulped. "sign the contract. I've seen some couples after the clinical trials, trust me, you don't want to live this weight-âÂ
âMira,â Junâs voice left him between gritted teeth. âIt's been barely 2 days since I got to know about what Y/n did. I haven't even decided if I am to be sad or angry or stay or move on.â He shut his eyes, running his hands through his hair. âThe only reason I agreed to keep her things away or allowed someone else to even touch them was because one, I trust Minghao more than anything and two, if I really want to, I know I'm strong enough to break the door of that storeroom and get everything back. But what you're asking of me, is a permanent change. Please justâŠ. Let me think things through at my pace.âÂ
Mira blinked at him, her hand on the handle of the door, unmoving.Â
âThank you for your help yet again Mira, but I think it's time you go.âÂ
And before the apology even left her mouth as she stepped out, Jun shut the door behind her, leaning against it. Â
He just needed some time. Thatâs all.
Or at least that's what he thought but in just a few hours, he realised he didn't.Â
Yesterday was perhaps bearable because Minghao, although he didn't speak much, was there in the house. Today though, heating up his food all alone, sitting at the table by himself, walking around his house in the dimness of the night lights, staring at the empty walls and empty shelves - it was all too much. Jun couldn't bring himself to go another day like this, forget the rest of his life.Â
Taking a deep breath he sat on the couch, pulling the papers towards himself, then pen in his hand shaking.Â
He wasn't strong enough for this - he couldn't go on without you.Â
Finally making up his mind, he gripped the pen tight and signed the contract. There was no other way.Â
But the universe said otherwise.Â
If Jun had just turned around and gone to his room, things would've gone down very differently. Maybe if he decided to sleep instead of clearing the dishes and throwing the trash, he would've never thought about clearing all the boxes that Mira left by the door. Maybe then he wouldn't have come across that box.Â
At first glance when he opened it, it seemed like odd bits of trash - there were pieces of paper, little trinkets, bills and what not. He was just about to throw it when his eye caught the familiar logo on one of the bills - the Lovers Cavern. The first Michelin star restaurant that Jun had taken you to on a date. Frowning, he ran his fingers through the contents of the box, recognising them one by one. Carnival and movie tickets, the crinkled wrapper of the ice cream he loves, the magnets from your first road trip together, the dried corsage from your first dance togetherâŠ. everything was a thoughtful piece of the time the two of you spent together.Â
You had been carefully saving them over the last 10 years.Â
Jun stared at it wordlessly, lost in thought. He had never taken you as one for sentimentality. Hell you didn't even like taking photos or recording videos of your time together, he was always the one who had to pull you in, forcing you to smile. He had always assumed those small moments meant nothing to you but this box told him a different story - you had been treasuring them all these years in your own way. This relationship wasnât just part of a checklist, you had been emotionally invested in it since the beginning, since 10 years.Â
Jun could only imagine how much his words must have hurt you that dayâŠ. Clearly enough to make you take such a big step. You didn't walk away because you wanted to. You walked away because of him. His words made youâŠ. it was his fault.Â
Walking over to the window, Jun glanced at your cafe, watching as you stepped out with a couple of bags in your hands, turning off the lights and locking the door. As you balanced your things in your hands, waving for a cab, Jun slowly realisedâŠ.. Minghao was wrong.Â
His only options weren't to either live with your memories alone or forget you and move on. There was a third one. One that Jun was about to choose.Â
He was going to get you back. He had done it once and he could do it again.Â
Jun was going to make you fall in love with him all over again.Â
2nd February 2025Â
Rubbing the back of your sore neck, you sat down at the benches outside the cafe, enjoying the cold.Â
One might think you were stupid for sitting in the snow clad street in just a small dress and an apron but the heat of the coffee was getting unbearable. Sipping on your own coffee, you glanced at the hustle and bustle down the street. Everyone looked so busy, like they were navigating life with a purpose. This coffee shop had always been your purpose, the dream you had been living for almost a month now yet something felt unfulfilled. Something was missing. Before you could figure out what, a voice broke you out of your reverie.Â
âIs the same drink, same table offer still going on?âÂ
Raising your head, you let your eyes find the man who interrupted the few minutes of your me-time.
âMr. Wen Junhui.â You cleared your throat, letting the annoyance show on your face. âI believe I had asked you not to enter my shop?â
âYou did.â Jun nodded, sitting down beside you, a few feet away. âAnd I did not enter your shop - technically I'm outside.âÂ
You glared at him, eyes narrowed.Â
âWell since you're such an ardent follower of what I say, you shouldn't be sitting with me either because-â
âBecause I need to have the same drink as you, right?â Jun cocked his head at you, raising his cup. âAnd I do.âÂ
âThere's no way.â You chuckled, taking a sip. âI can assure you, you don't.âÂ
âCorrect me if I'm wrong,â Jun took a sip, smiling to himself because he knew he was not wrong. No one knew you better than him. âBut I think that's a caramel macchiato with hazelnut cream.â
Lips slightly parted in surprise, you stared at him.Â
âM-maybe.â You muttered, taking a sip yourself. âBut I still donât think itâs the exact same-â
âYeah, it might not be exact.â Jun shrugged nonchalantly. âNot like Iâm lactose intolerant or anything but I felt like taking it with oat milk today.âÂ
The cup nearly slipped from your hand. You were lactose intolerant. You always took your coffee with oat milk.Â
Choosing not to tell him that, you simply continued to stare at the busy crowd. Jun let out an inward sigh of relief knowing he had earned the place to sit next to you.Â
âY/nâŠâ Clearing his throat, he corrected himself. Baby steps Jun. âMs. Y/n I uh actually wanted to apologise about that day.â
You turned to him, eyebrows slightly furrowed.Â
âI had actually just gotten out of the hospital that day and I donât think the anesthesia wore off completely so I was apparently just going around andâŠ. proposing marriage to various women.âÂ
You raised your eyebrows like you didnât believe him.Â
âItâs true, I spent the whole day today saying sorry to every business owner on this streetâŠ. And drinking the same coffee order as them. I think Iâm going to have a tough time in the bathroom tomorrowâŠ.âÂ
Scoffing, you turned away from him and if Jun didnât know you better, he wouldnât have known you were hiding a tiny smile.Â
âAgain Iâm really Ms. Y/n, I wish that didnât happen and that we could have a fresh start. I was really looking forward to having coffee here.âÂ
Letting out a deep resigned breath, you stood up, chugging the last of your drink. Tossing the cup in the bin, you turned to him, clasping your hands before you politely, giving him a small smile.Â
âMr. Wen Junhui, welcome to Lonely Hearts cafe. Weâre a small business that opened just a month ago so weâve got some really good deals on coffee and cake. We even have a Valentineâs day event - you get to share a table with the person who has the same drink as you. I hope we see you around.âÂ
Returning your smile, Jun got up, giving a small shrug. âThat Valentineâs day event is interesting - I would love to⊠be seen around.â He chuckled, holding his hand out. âItâs nice knowing you Ms. Y/n.âÂ
Glancing at his outstretched hand, you slowly took it, wrapping your fingers around it. Somehow on the cold winter day, there was a strange warmth radiating between the two of you.Â
âItâs nice getting to know you too Mr. Jun.âÂ
3rd February 2025Â
âYou know, you donât look like someone who enjoys coffee.âÂ
Jun turned at the sound of your voice, finding you right beside the door he just walked in. You had a tray in your hands and an amused smile on your face.Â
âWhat makes you say that?âÂ
âThe face you made yesterday?â You laughed as you walked in, Jun following behind you. âIâve never seen someone look so disgusted while drinking coffee.âÂ
Jun suppressed a smile as he leaned against the counter. âOh so you were watching me.âÂ
Rolling your eyes, you walked towards the machines. âI happened to see.âÂ
âThe one yesterday was just too sweet.â He shuddered, recalling the taste. âMy taste buds were dying.âÂ
âWell obviously it was sweet, itâs caramel.â You pulled out a piece of cake, putting it on the counter as a waitress walked over, taking it. âDid you expect it to taste like Malatang?âÂ
Oh Jun would love some Malatang right now.Â
âNo, but something told me your coffee would taste much better than that one.âÂ
You chuckled, pulling up a cup. âIs that going to be your order for today?âÂ
âNope.â Jun shook his head. âIâll just have whatever youâre having.âÂ
âWhat Iâm having?â You frowned, confused.Â
âHow else will I be able to share a table with you?âÂ
Jun could tell you were holding back a smile. âAnd why would you want to do that?âÂ
âI thought coffee with a side of conversation would be nice.âÂ
âIâm working.âÂ
âIâll wait.â
âI only get off at 5.âÂ
âIâll wait.âÂ
âAnd then I need to head straight home.âÂ
âI just need 10 minutes.âÂ
You raised your eyebrows like you were trying to figure out what his intentions were. Meanwhile, he looked at you determined, like heâll wait for a lifetime, if thatâs what it took. Sighing you pulled out a piece of cake and set it before him. Then changing your mind, you quickly swapped it for a couple of lemon biscuits and slid it to him.Â
âTheyâre on the house.âÂ
And with that you tightened your apron and walked away, leaving Jun staring at his favourite biscuits on the counter.Â
âDo you need any help?âÂ
You looked up from the table you were cleaning at Jun who was still here, his coat discarded, cheeks flushed red and eyes tired.Â
âI have staff Mr. Jun.â
âShe left.â He shrugged, shoving his hands in his pockets. âTold me to inform you.âÂ
âHuh.â You frowned. âShe always stays till I close for the extra ten I hand her every day.âÂ
Jun remained silent, looking away.
âYou paid her.âÂ
âI was just helping her go home fast.â
Sighing, you straightened yourself, crossing your arms. âOkay what is it, what do you want?âÂ
âI told you, a conversation.â
âWell thatâs what weâre having right?âÂ
âRightâŠâ Jun cleared his throat, unsure how to frame his sentences while you continued to look at him expectantly. When he didnât say anything, you rolled your eyes and continued cleaning up.Â
âI was thinkingâŠâ You held out the tray, making him quickly free his hands to hold it as you began stacking plates and cutlery on it. âYouâre a woman.â
âAre you doubting it?â Frowning, you walked over to the trash can, Jun right behind, struggling to balance everything.Â
âNo! I mean I wasnât thinking if you were a woman, more like I was thinking since youâre a woman and Iâm a manâŠ.âÂ
Jun trailed off completely lost about where he was going with this till you relieved him of the weight in his arms, placing the tray in the sink.Â
âMr. Jun,â You untied your apron, tucking it on the rod of the drawer. âYou only have 10 minutes.âÂ
âOkay okay.â Jun recomposed himself, watching you pack up your things for the night. Looks like he just had to get straight to the point. âYes I have 10 minutes right now, but my worry is, we only have 10 days.âÂ
âWhat do you mean?âÂ
âIt's Valentine's in 10 daysâŠ.â Jun muttered below his breath trying to gauge your reaction.Â
âAre youâŠâ You narrowed your eyes at him unsure. âIs this your way of asking me out?âÂ
âNo god,â Jun groaned, running his hands through his hair. âI swear I planned it so much better in my head-â
âDonât.âÂ
And with that one word, you crushed everything. All the hope, the longing, the yearning. Â
âLook Mr. Jun, normally I wouldn't go into the details but I don't want you to think I'm blowing you off but about a month ago, I got a Memory Wipe. I lost the last ten years of my life and Iâm still trying to come to terms with how much things have changed.... Iâm just not ready for any kind of commitment.â
âButâŠ.â Jun blinked at you confused. âYou smiledâŠâ
âSorry?âÂ
âYesterday and todayâŠ. I thought, you might alsoâŠâÂ
âMr. Jun.â You sighed, donning your jacket, zipping up. âYouâre a good looking man, youâre sweet and I can tell youâd be a good conversation but I didnât mean for it to be more than that. I just assumed it would be some harmless flirting.âÂ
âI donât want it to just be harmless flirting.â Jun shook his head. âI want something more. I like you and I want to-âÂ
âLike me, why?â You looked at him confused, grabbing your bags. âWeâve barely spoken more than 5 sentences to each other.â
Weâve been in love for more than 10 years Y/n.Â
âI canât explain it, it justâŠ. feels right.âÂ
âWell I canât function based on your whims and feelings, can I?âÂ
Jun stood frozen as you turned off the lights and opened the door, stepping out. Grabbing his jacket he followed you, watching you lost in thought as you locked the door before you turned to him.Â
âLook, you seem like a nice guy and Iâm sure youâll find someone. It just canât be me, Iâm not in the space for it.â Adjusting the bags in your hands, you shot him an apologetic look. âIâm sorry Mr. Jun.â
And with that you walked away, your figure moving further and getting smaller as cold winds returned to the city. For some stupid reason, Jun hadnât anticipated this - he didnât think about the possibility of you rejecting his advances. He just assumed the two of you would fall into the comfortable pattern of dating each other and everything would slowly return to normal. Your disappearing self was telling him otherwiseâŠ.
No.Â
Jun couldnât allow this to happen. He couldnât lose this chance.
âWait!â Pulling his jacket over his shivering body, he ran to you, half tripping on the way. âWait, please.âÂ
And you did, looking at his panting, coughing self standing in your way, trying to catch his breath. Searching your bags, you handed him a bottle of water but Jun ignored it, looking at you questioningly.Â
âIf whatever happened to you a month ago, didnât happen, would you agree to go out on a date with a guy like me?âÂ
âIâŠ.â You looked around confused. âI donât know.âÂ
âDo you have any other reason not to give us⊠to give me a shot?â Crossing his fingers, Jun tucked his hands in his pocket. âAny other reason to say no?âÂ
âNot really, no.âÂ
Bingo.Â
âIâm sure the aftermath of the Memory Wipe hasn't been easy but life wonât stop just because you want things to pause.â Gulping he looked at you expectantly. âLook Y/n I too am in a space where things are difficult where I want to hit rewind, but I realised maybe itâs better to hit restart and I want to try that with you.âÂ
âJun IâŠâÂ
âHereâs my suggestion, just hear me out.â He clasped his hands, ignoring the cold drafts. âGive me 10 days, just 10 days to change your mind about us. I know I can do it, I know I can make you see Iâm worth it, that weâre worth it.âÂ
âYouâre really not going to take no for an answer are you?âÂ
Jun shook his head, his face falling. âNo IâŠ. I donât want to force you. I was just suggesting-â
âWhat if Iâm not convinced in 10 days?â You sighed, looking at him unsure. âWill you leave the idea of âusâ behind and not pursue me anymore?"Â
âIt wonât come to that-âÂ
âIf it does.âÂ
âIf it does,â Jun took a deep breath. âThen youâll never see me again. I promise.âÂ
And with that you went silent, like you were considering it. Jun prayed to all possible forces in the universe - please say yes, please say yes, please say yes.Â
âOkay.â You agreed, slowly nodding your head. âYou have 10 days. If Iâm not convinced, then on the 10th day, weâre done and weâre never seeing each other again, deal?âÂ
Smiling on the inside, Jun ignored the little victory lap his head was doing. âDeal.âÂ
âAnd youâre sure this will work?âÂ
Phone against his ear, Jun nodded confidently.
âPositive.â
âWhat if youâre just setting yourself up for heartbreak again?â
âIâm not.â Jun rolled his eyes. âI know I can get her back. This time Iâll be better-âÂ
âHavenât you noticed?â Minghao voice was filled with caution. âSheâs somehow not the same. The Y/n you knew was a hard core, cut throat lawyer. This Y/n is a barista who sells coffee and the idea of love.âÂ
Jun hummed in thought. âMaybe. But deep down, sheâs still my Y/n and Iâm her Jun. I know her better than anyone else, I can do this-â
âAnd if you canât?âÂ
âThen Iâll live with it. But I canât let her go without trying.âÂ
âAnd what if it still doesnât work?âÂ
âI donât want to consider that possibility.âÂ
âJun be realistic. How on Earth do you plan on convincing a woman who thinks youâre a complete stranger, is struggling with her amnesia, and more importantly doesnât want any commitment, to date you?âÂ
Jun sank into his couch, staring at the ceiling. Â
âI have no idea.â He confessed.
âExactly, what if things get worse for you-â
âCan you just for once be a tad bit more positive?â Jun sighed. âLook at the bright side of things. Like for example, Y/n knew I didnât like coffee-â
â-you make the most disgusting face known to mankind when you drink it, anyone would know-â
â-and she knew I like malatang-â
â-youâre Chinese Jun. I think that was a safe guess-â
â-and she knew lemon biscuits were my favourite dessert.âÂ
This time Minghao went silent.Â
âNothing snarky to say?âÂ
When Minghao continued to keep quiet, Jun frowned, sitting up.Â
âHao do you think she⊠remembered?âÂ
âThatâs not possible....âÂ
"You don't sound as sure as last time." Jun noted.
Minghao let out a deep breath, like he was frustrated. âTheoretically, a memory restoration is not possible but hearing you I.... I can't tell for sure - we're also still not done with the clinical trials so I cannot exactly negate the possibility."
"So,,," Jun's eyes widened. "You're saying there is a chance she might remember everything?"
"A really really small chance.....â Minghao emphasised. "Or it could just be that since Y/n has known you for ten odd years, some her actions are just reflexive - ingrained in her subconscious after years of habit."Â
"But you're saying there's a small chance she might remember me again?"
Minghao sighed. Clearly, his friend wanted to just hear one thing.
"Yes. Perhaps if she's repeatedly exposed to you or to something of her past, she might remember certain things again-"
"Enough to make her want to come back to me?"
"I cannot promise that-"
"But I can try." Jun whispered, the cogwheels in his mind turning. "I have to try and Hao, I think I know exactly how."
"How-"
Cutting the call Jun tossed his phone aside and quickly grabbed the box he had stashed below the tea table, opening it. He ran his fingers again through all the memories you had saved, a small smile forming on his face.
Jun had 10 days to win you back - that meant he had 10 chances to remind you of all the good days the two of you shared. 10 memories he could recreate, ones that you yourself had stored in this very box. 10 ways he could prove 'us'..... was truly worth it.
And just like that, Wen Junhui knew exactly how to make you fall in love with him all over again.Â
You stared at the photo hanging on your wall, arms crossed, eyes slightly damp.
You look so happy,....he looks so happy.Â
Just like he did when you agreed to give him 10 days to woo you.Â
Sighing you tore your eyes away and stared at the ground, blinking the tears away.Â
âJust 10 days," You whispered, voice shaking. "âŠ.. and all of this will be over.âÂ
A/n - This fic is tbh very long and overwhelming so I thought its best to have it out in parts? I hope you enjoyed this part and stay tuned for the next too! Thoughts in comments and reblogs are very much appreciated my loves <3

Every Moment With You
Genre: Romance, Fluff
Pairing: Yoongi x Reader
Characters: Normal!Reader, IdolBoyfriend!Yoongi, Idol!Namjoon, Idol!Seokjin, Idol!Hoseok, Idol!Jimin, Idol!Taehyung, Idol!Jungkook
Summary: Finally, the boys are able to take a break without any cameras and fans. And since they will be a private compound on their own, of course Yoongi invited you. And now that you're able to comfortably spend time with him, you want to make full use of it before he goes back to work.
Word count: 7,395
When Yoongi unlocked the door to the apartment, he was greeted to by the sight of you blasting 'Haegeum' and throwing hand signs around, jumping on the spot like you were at one of his AGUST D D-Day concerts.
"ìŽ ë
žëë íŽêž" You tried your best to rap, still not noticing your boyfriend leaning against the wall, watching you with an amused smile on his face.
"Ayy!" You couldn't catch up with all the lyrics of his rap so you kept throwing 'ayy's around.
"ìŽì©ë©Ž ìŽ ëí ë ë€ë„ž íŽêž, yeah" You finished and Yoongi pushed himself off the wall, clapping to finally make his presence known.
"What the-" You jumped and let out a yelp.
"H-How long have you been there?" You screeched, pointing an accusatory finger at him. Yoongi continued clapping and laughing at how surprised you looked to see him.
"Halfway through the chorus. Although I wish I was here to see the entire performance." He chuckled.
"Damn right, you know I'm way better than Agust D. But sorry, there are no encores around here." You scoffed.
"Yeah, we don't know who Agust D thinks he is." Yoongi smiled and shuffled over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist. You threw your arms over his neck, tip toeing slightly to hug him properly. You tightened your hold around him as he turned his head just enough to press a kiss to your cheek.
"How was the studio session?" You asked.
"It went better than I expected. I should be able to record guide vocals with Jungkook soon." He replied, one hand moving to stroke your lower back affectionately.
"That's great." You giggled, pulling back to give him a peck. You helped him remove his jacket and hung it up on the coat rack.
"Oh, right. I wanted to tell you, the boys wanna head up to the Soop estate to stay for a few days." He informed.
"Ah, I see. Go ahead, I think it's a great idea. You all should take the chance to get away for a bit before promotions really kick off again." You said, going to the kitchen.
"You should come too." He followed you into the kitchen, grabbing a cold coffee from the fridge.
"Yoongi, I would love to but... you remember the last time... it was hard for everyone to hide me from the cameras..." You sighed.
"I know, aegi. But the management said there will be no cameras, no content filming, no fans, nothing. We'll have the whole place to ourselves with security in case of trespassers. So if you would like to go, I would love to have you there." He held your hand.
"Oh, sure. If the boys are okay with it." You smiled, rubbing the back of his hand with your thumb.
"Please, of course they are okay with it. They didn't even care about whether I was going, all they wanted to know was if you were going." He rolled his eyes.
"Alright. I have some vacation days my boss has been asking me to take anyway so the timing is perfect." You said.
"It's settled then. Go get packed, we're leaving tomorrow morning at 5 am." Yoongi patted your hip.
"We'll have our own room, bathroom and small seating area. And of course, the camper van is ours too. You've seen it on the show, it's like the one Jungkook stayed in with Bam." Yoongi informed.
"I mean, if the other members need more privacy, I don't mind sharing a bathroom or living room space." You shrugged.
"No, no, no. Don't say that. For me, we need our own space." Yoongi was quick to interject, shaking his head.
"Sure~" You laughed.
During In The Soop 1, Yoongi spoke to management about you tagging along with them and they agreed since Yoongi would be using the camper on his own. But even so, it was hard for you to stay hidden. You would have to duck out of the way, wake up earlier to leave the bed and make sure your stuff was hidden.
On top of that, the editing team had to do multiple rounds of checks to make sure that any footage of you or your belongings being captured was removed.
"Go shower, I'll start packing." You waved him off. He hummed and came over to kiss your temple before going to the bathroom.
"Shirts, pants, underwear..." You took out a few sets and laid them on the bed.
"Hoodies... Dresses..." Leaving Yoongi's clothes on the bed for him to check first, you packed your stuff into the suitcase. Then you packed make up and some travel toiletries.
"They have toiletries there, aegi. Unless you need something specific." Yoongi said, re-entering the room.
"Oh, okay. Saves me the space then. Can you check if that's enough clothes for you?" You asked.
"I think I'll take a few more shirts. Last time, I ended up being pushed into the pool by a drunk Namjoon. It was edited out since most of them were drunk and removing their clothes." He let out a sigh.
"I'm sure the fans would have liked to watch that." You raised your eyebrows. Yoongi helped you with the packing, stuffing his things into his own suitcase. He put your skincare along with his own in his travel pouch and packed that.
"I can finish up here if you want to nap." You told him, knowing he was working in the studio the whole of last night.
"It's alright, we're almost done." Yoongi patted your head. He took the clothes that you both decided not to bring and put them back into the drawers or hung them back up in the closet.
"Aegi, should I add your skirt to this hanger with the rest or would you prefer me to use a new one?" He asked.
"A new one would be great. The other one looks too full." You said.
"Good idea." He went to the laundry area to get a spare hanger and came back, neatly hanging your skirts before putting it back into your side of the closet.
"Okay, we're done! Time for us to sleep." He declared.
"Yoongi, it's 1pm. I'm not sleepy! You go to sleep." You said between your giggles.
"No, you know I can't sleep without you." He grumbled in a low voice, not sure if it was meant for you to hear of not. But without another word, Yoongi laid on his side of the bed, scrolling on his phone.
"Aren't you tired?" You tilted your head.
"I am... I'm just waiting for you." He let out a big yawn, stretching his arms and legs like a cat. You let out a sigh of defeat and moved the packed bags aside, crawling into bed with him. Yoongi used to sleep on the left but after his surgery, he changed to the right so he wouldn't sleep on his left.
"That's better." He cleared his throat, pulling you close and letting you sleep on his right arm, his left casually slung over your hip. You felt him kiss the top of your head.
"Ugh." You tried to sleep but you had just woken up not too long ago. On the other hand, Yoongi fell asleep so quickly.
"You always work so hard." You whispered, reaching up to stroke his cheek as he slept.
"I love you." You were glad he was done with military. Yes, as a social service officer, you saw Yoongi everyday but he always looked so tired and frustrated that he didn't have time to work on music.
You slipped out of Yoongi's hold and left the bedroom, closing the door behind you.
"Clean up, do laundry, make snacks, pack drinks." You made a list.
Since you and Yoongi were not going to be around, you wanted to clean the house and do as many chores as you could so you wouldn't have to do them when you get back.
"Aegi?" Yoongi lifted his head to find himself along in bed. His hand touched your side of the bed, feeling how cold the sheets were. He groaned as he sat up and yawned. Slipping on his house slippers, Yoongi left the bedroom.
"Aegiiii..." His sleep riddled voice called out for you.
"In the kitchen!" You replied. Yoongi blinked in confusion and went over to the kitchen. He watched with a small frown as you were wrapping the rice ball in cling wrap.
"W-What are you doing?" Yoongi came closer, leaning closer and squinting to figure out what you were doing.
"Make snacks for us and the others to eat on the bus ride." You laughed, pulling him back.
"It's just snacks, babe. We might get hungry or the others might get hungry too." You said, putting all the rice balls aside, next to the wrapped sandwiches.
"Thank you for doing this." He smiled.
"I'm always happy to feed you and the boys." You put all the items into the fridge, intending to bring them in a cooler bag later.
"You made Japanese potato salad?" His eyes widened when he saw you put two containers in too.
"Mhmm. I know you like it. Plus, I ran out of bread and since I was boiling eggs anyway, I took some for potato salad. This second one container has no cucumbers, its for Taehyung." You explained, going to grab some disposable cutlery that you and Yoongi collect from all your food deliveries.
"You spoil them too much." He clicked his tongue, stealing a boiled egg to eat. Yoongi always says you give in too much to the younger ones but it's always hard to tell them no.
"You spoil them too! Jungkook's whole 'Yoongi hyung never scolds me' thing." You put your hands on your hips.
"T-That's different." He looked away, his ears turning red.
"Sure, it is. You keep telling yourself that. And I don't just spoil them, I spoil you too, Yoonie~" You cooed at him, pinching his cheek. He scoffed and slapped your hands away.
"You know I hate all your nicknames... And you're meant to spoil me, you're dating me, not them." He glared.
"Don't worry, I didn't forget that." You hugged his waist, leaning your head on his chest.
"You better not." His clean hand came to stroke the back of your head. As you cleaned up the kitchen counter, Yoongi heated up the leftovers for you have dinner.
"Aegi, dinner time. Stop working." Yoongi called you like a mother calls her child, putting the plates of food on the dining table. You closed your laptop and went over to help him, grabbing the side dishes from the fridge and the cutlery.
"I managed to file for my leave. I shot my boss a text and he told me to go ahead, he'll approve it tomorrow morning." You informed.
"That's great, aegi. So, you can take the time to just relax and immerse yourself in nature with me." He smiled. You nodded with a hum and sat down.
"Thank you for the food, Yoongi." You picked up your chopsticks.
"You're very welcome. Eat up, aegi." He removed the bone from the galbi and placed the meat on your rice.
After dinner, you did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen while Yoongi did his own packing. He never went anywhere without his music and sound recording equipment.
"You know, usually partners would get nagged at for bringing work things on vacation." Yoongi joked.
"Why would I nag you on something that brings you happiness? If by chance, that's work. So be it." You shrugged.
"You're something else, aegi." He chuckled and shook his head, carefully packing his expensive equipment into their foam cases and zipping up his guitar. Then he grabbed his computer bag to pack his laptop and all the wires. It was satisfying to watch him pack, he was so neat and meticulous.
"Would you prefer me to nag...?" You teased. He shook his head, the smile never leaving his face. Once he was done, you placed all your things by the door.
"Okay, we have a few hours to sleep then we have to go." He reached out to hold your hand.
"I'm excited! I haven't seen this new estate." You clapped your hands happily.
"Oh, that's right! I forgot you haven't seen the estate before... And I event went again for song camp when producing D-Day." Yoongi slapped his forehead in realisation and you nodded.
"Of course I wouldn't go for song camp." You said. You knew you wouldn't value add and just be a distraction if you went."
"I think you'll like it, there's a lot more space than the first Soop location they rented." He squeezed toothpaste onto your toothbrush.
"But the company actually owns this place, right? Like the whole area. The first estate was a rental." You asked. He hummed and began to brush his teeth, so did you.
"I'll set an alarm. Goodnight, aegi." Yoongi mumbled, eyes on his phone, playing his basketball game.
"Goodnight, Yoon." You wished back, tucking yourself against his side. As he used his phone, his other hand absentmindedly stroked your head, which lulled you to sleep really quickly. Left with only 3 hours to sleep, he put his phone away to join you in dreamland.
--
"Everything is packed." You zipped up the cooler bag with all the food that you prepared last night. Yoongi insisted on handling most of the bags, loading them into the car.
"So I'll leave the car at HYBE while we're at the estate. The others should be making their way there, the bus leaves at 6." He said.
"Mmm..." You hummed, still tired.
"Aigoo, my precious girl. You can sleep on the bus." Yoongi leaned over to cup your cheeks. You pouted at him, making him chuckle as he started the car to drive.
"(y/n)!" Your name was yelled across the carpark as you and Yoongi unloaded the bags.
"Shhh! Taehyung ah, you're too loud." Jimin chided.
"Hi." You waved, trying to hide your yawn as you helped Yoongi with the bags. Of course, the boys took over the bags, sharing the load especially with Yoongi's music and recording equipment. You all took the lift up to the back of HYBE, where the bus was waiting and the other boys were boarding.
"Good morning." You bowed to the others and Yoongi sent them a lazy wave, passing the bags to the bus captain who was loading them into storage.
"Glad you could join us." Namjoon smiled.
"Thank you for having me." You giggled, adjusting the scarf Yoongi bundled around your neck.
"Oh my, Jungkook's bringing Bam? Hello, Bamie~" You cooed as Jungkookg walked over with the doberman. Bam jumped excitedly, standing on his hind legs to sniff you and lick you.
"I've missed you too, big baby. Yes, good boy." You rubbed your ears. When Yoongi was done, he grabbed your hand.
"Let's get out of the cold." He said softly and led you to the bus, helping you up the steps.
"(y/n) packed food for everyone." Yoongi announced to the other boys who were settling in their seats, and Jungkook was trying to settle Bam down.
"Thank you, (y/n)! You're a life saver." The boys all threw thanks their way. Jin volunteered to have the cooler bag of food beside him since he had a spare seat beside him and he could help hand it out to the boys for you.
"Yes, she is." Yoongi mumbled under his breath with a chuckle but you heard him.
"You don't have to stay awake, aegi. Go to sleep." He put his arm around you. With such a big bus, everyone took alternate rows to be able to recline their seats comfortably.
"The rice balls are good, (y/n)!" Jungkook said, his words muffled by the food he stuffed in his mouth.
"Yah. You're getting rice everywhere." Hoseok chided.
"Thank you." You replied with a giggle before leaning back in your seat. You didn't know when you fell asleep but Yoongi opened the small lap blanket he brought and draped it over you.
"Can we dim the lights a little?" Yoongi requested. The manager asked the bus driver to lower the lights.
"So hyung, how happy are you to have her here?" Jimin asked from across the aisle, watching Yoongi draw the curtains and adjust the overhead airconditioning vent so it wasn't blowing in your face. Yoongi turned around to glare at the younger before checking on you, making sure you didn't hear Jimin.
"Thankfully she had enough vacation days to come with us. She deserves a nice break too." Yoongi replied, not answering Jimin's question directly.
"You're always afraid to gush about her, around her. You do it silently, behind her back." Taehyung pointed out with a laugh.
"I don't gush about her. I just appreciate her and what she does for me." Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"Sure, hyung. You don't gush... keep telling yourself that." Namjoon chuckled, eyes still trained on his kindle. Luckily the bus was dark that they couldn't see the light blush on Yoongi's cheeks.
"I don't gush." Yoongi looked back at your sleeping face, not sure who he was trying to convince at this point.
When you woke up, you felt Yoongi's head on your shoulder and tried your best not to move.
"Jimin, can you hand me my phone there?" You whispered to the male who was playing his nintendo switch. He nodded and reached over to get your phone from the seat pocket.
"Thank you." You smiled softly. Like all younger brothers do, Jimin retrieved his own phone and snapped a picture of sleeping Yoongi on your shoulder before retreating back to his seat to continue his game. You chuckled and shook your head.
"He's going to kill you if he knows." You told him.
"Then don't tell him." Jimin snickered. You spent the remainder of hte bus ride on your phone, not wanting to move to disturb Yoongi.
"We're here, everyone. Wake up!" Namjoon stood up. You gently patted Yoongi's thigh to wake him. His eyes fluttered open and he looked around.
"Good morning, Yoongi." You giggled.
"Good morning, aegi." He yawned and stretched his arms. As everyone was busy gathering their stuff, you gave him a peck.
"Come on, let's get off this bus." He helped you pack and held your hand as you got off the bus. Standing in the mansion estate, it was so much bigger than what the television showed.
"Let's go, Bam!' Jungkook let Bam off his leash and started running towards his room with his bags in tow.
"He has so much energy." Jin clicked his tongue and shook his head.
"All he did was sleep and eat on the bus." Hoseok laughed. You were unsure of where to go so you just followed Yoongi. He slid open one of the sliding doors to a room in one of the villas. Like Yoongi said, it was exactly like Jungkook and Bam's room in the show, practically like a studio apartment without a kitchen.
"Wow, I can't believe this is just one section of the villa." You said, pushing the suitcases to the corner.
"Yeah, each room has a small living space and bathroom. Then the kitchen and big living room is in the main mansion." Yoongi said, closing the door behind him.
"I do watch In The Soop, you know?" You teased. He scoffed and went into the room.
"Ah. This is comfy." He laid on the bed.
"It's so nice and tranquil here." You said, moving to lay on him, resting your head on his chest. Yoongi lazily threw an arm over your shoulders to hold you.
"As much as I would like to continue sleeping in an actual bed, we need lunch. Everyone ate your food but you." Yoongi said.
"But I'm not hungry." You yawned, burying your face into his chest. Yoongi kissed the top of your head.
"Lovebirds! Are we doing lunch or what?" You heard Jin's voice from your door. You yelled out an acknowledgement to the oldest and immediately got up, making Yoongi let out an annoyed groan from behind you.
"We'll wash up and be right there!" You smiled to Jin. He nodded, giving you a thumbs up before leaving to head to the mansion. You went to wash your face.
"Aegiiii..." Yoongi drowned out and leaned his body against yours, his hands holding your waist from behind.
"I'm trying to wash my face!" You squealed, feeling his fringe tickle the back of your neck.
After you and Yoongi washed up, you convinced him to at least have lunch. Hand in hand, you strolled to the mansion. Yoongi looked around the place, ruffling his hair with his free hand.
"What are you craving for?" Yoongi asked, the both of you removing your shoes before entering the mansion.
"I'll have what the others are having. You know I'm not picky." You shrugged.
"I know but I'd much rather cook something you want to eat and not something the younger ones want." He chuckled. The two of you saw the others playing games in the living room.
"Woah, be careful, aegi." He grasped your waist to move you out of the way before Taehyung could accidentally hit you while challenging Jin and Jungkook.. You followed him to the kitchen to help him cook. Yoongi opened the fridge to look at what the managers had stocked up for your stay here.
"What about cheesy dakgalbi?" He turned to you, smiling when he saw your eyes light up with excitement and happiness. You nodded your head.
"I'll cut the vegetables, you can handle the meat." You told him.
"You should rest. Let me cook." Yoongi crossed his arms as you took out the cabbage, carrots, onions and potatoes.
"I am resting. Doing this with you is rest." You said, retrieving a cutting board and knife. Yoongi shot you a flat look but didn't argue, preparing the chicken and marinade.
"What are we cooking?" Hoseok came into the house with Jimin. The shorter male joined the others in the living room, playing games.
"Dakgalbi." Yoongi replied.
"Anything I can help with? Make some coffee?" Hoseok suggested. You and Yoongi immediately nodded.
"Coffee would be amazing, Seok. Thank you." You giggled, chopping the cabbage and putting all the vegetables into a bowl for Yoongi to cook with later.
"Oooh, this smart stove is really cool." You watched Yoongi put two big pans over the stove. With 8 people, he probably thought it would be easier to eat out of two pans rather than everyone trying to get into one pan.
"I'll make some gyeranmari and dumplings to eat on the side." You said, cooking on the stove at the back. After giving you both your coffees, Hoseok helped you with cooking the sides.
"Lunch! Call whoever is not here!" Yoongi yelled.
"Coming!" Those in the living room came out. Taehyung called Namjoon over while Jungkook grabbed cutlery.
You all sat together to eat, some of the boys sharing the microwave rice packs, knowing they will probably use the leftovers to make fried rice to share later.
"Thank you for cooking!" The boys chimed before digging in.
"Mmm." You nodded happily. Yoongi placed some chicken on your plate, his free arm resting on the back of your chair the entire time.
"This is just what I needed! We should bring you on vacations more often, (y/n)." Taehyung exclaimed happily, making a wrap with the chicken and eating it in one mouthful.
"She's not your personal chef." Yoongi sent Taehyung a look but you knew they were just joking.
After lunch was done, those that didn't cook were on clean up duty. Yoongi took the opportunity to get you out of there. He grasped your wrist and practically dragged you back your shared room at the villa, making it clear he didn't really want to stay and socialise with the other members anymore.
"You're being anti social. Maybe the boys want to spend more time with you." You slapped his arm.
"We can do that another time. Now is me and you time." He huffed, removing his hoodie so he was just in his undershirt.
"I need to use the bathroom." You went to the bathroom, also getting out of your uncomfortable clothes. You changed into something comfier, aka Yoongi's shirt.
"We're going to stay in bed until we are called for dinner." Yoongi said when you entered the room.
"I like that plan." You giggled and fell on top of him. He wrapped his arms around you to turn you around so you were on your sides.
"I'm just happy to spend time with you." You reached out to cup his cheeks, caressing the skin with your thumbs. Yoongi gave you a gummy smile and lifted your hands to kiss your fingertips.
"Are you sleepy?" He asked.
"No, I think I slept enough in the bus." You said, betrayed by your yawn.
"Yeah, we'll see about that." He stroked the back of your head. You scoffed and pulled away, sitting up to lean against the headboard with an intention to read. Yoongi shifted himself so his head could rest in your lap.
"You should sleep more." You patted his head, knowing that he probably didn't sleep well on the bus.
It felt so peaceful and normal to spend time with Yoongi like this. With you, he wasn't an idol, he was just your boyfriend and the two of you were spending some time off together.
"Feeling sleepy yet?" He murmured sleepily, hugging your legs like a bolster.
"No, I'm not. Now, stop interrupting my reading." You said. It didn't take long for Yoongi to fall asleep.
"(y/n)? Are you here?" You looked up from your book to find Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook at your doorway. Luckily Yoongi pulled the blanket to hide your bare legs.
"Shh..." You hushed them, pointing to the sleeping Yoongi who was hugging your legs.
"Come play." They waved you over.
"But..." You gestured to the sleeping Yoongi. No one ever dares to wake Yoongi up, maybe except Taehyung with kindergarten music playing in the background. The 3 couldn't help you now since you were pantless and you were pretty sure Yoongi might have an aneurysm if he knew that they saw you.
"Go, I'll come out in a bit." You told them. They gave you thumbs ups and closed the bedroom door. Looking down at Yoongi, you carefully shifted away, replacing your legs with a pillow quickly.
"Sorry." You stroked his head in case he woke up. It was hard when he had almost all his weight on your legs.
"I'll be back." You leaned down to kiss his cheek. Yoongi didn't seem bothered by you moving him.
Looking around, you grabbed a pair of sweats and put it on before going out, where the 3 boys were waiting for you in the tiny living room area.
"Let's go!" Taehyung held your hand and pulled you out.
"Where did she gooooo?" Yoongi groaned, feeling the pillow against his cheek instead of you. He sat up, seeing the sun starting to set.
"Aegi?" He called out from bed but there was no reply. Ruffling his hair and yawning, he got out of bed and noticed that his sweats were missing from the floor.
"Nooooo!" Yoongi heard your squeal and grabbed a new pair of pants, going out to see where you were.
There you were, playing in the rain with Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook. Jungkook was chasing after you and Jimin with an evil smile. Yoongi grabbed an umbrella and exited the room, he stood there quietly, watching all of you play.
"Oh! Yoongi!" You spotted your cat-like boyfriend, standing there with his black umbrella, and waved at him. Yoongi smiled back at you. Since you were distracted, Jungkook suddenly grabbed you.
"Ah!" You yelped in shock as he lifted you up.
"Yah! Be careful with her!" Yoongi barked, coming over to where you all were playing.
"I'm fine, Yoongi. Don't worry." You grinned, drenched from head to toe. Yoongi sighed and reached out to move gently your wet hair away from your face.
"I'm going to get started on dinner. You guys should go dry up so we can eat." Yoongi said.
"Aww!" Everyone jeered but Yoongi was not budging, he was really worried about you catching a cold.
Despite you already being damp, Yoongi still sheltered you with his umbrella all the way back to your share room. He entered first to put a towel on the flower so you wouldn't slip coming in.
"Leave your clothes in that bathroom when you're done. I'll put them in the dryer later." Yoongi told you. You nodded and leaned forward to give him a grateful peck on the cheek but you were careful not to let your wet hair drip onto his clothes. After that, he left you to shower and warm yourself up.
"(y/n), are you heading to the main house?" You caught Namjoon coming down from the room upstairs.
"Yeah. But I think the spare umbrellas are there and Yoongi took the only one that was here." You said, holding your wet clothes in your hands after you wrung out all the water.
"Come, I'll take you." He smiled.
"Thank you!" You ducked under the umbrella with him and walked towards the main house.
"So, I saw you guys playing out in the rain from my window earlier. Can't believe the younger ones managed to rope you into their antics." Namjoon chuckled.
"It was all fun, you should have joined us. We're just kids at heart, playing in the rain and puddle stomping." You giggled.
"Maybe next time." He slid open the door for you to enter.
"Definitely. Hey, Yoon. Don't worry, I got my clothes." You greeted your boyfriend, who was cooking in the kitchen with Jin. He nodded in acknowledgement and you brought your damp clothes to the laundry area, throwing your clothes into the wash.
"Thanks for walking her over, Namjoon ah." Yoongi nodded over to the leader. Namjoon smiled and headed to the living room.
"I could have brought it in for you to be washed, aegi." Yoongi came into the laundry room.
"It's fine, it's just a few pieces of laundry. You're already busy with dinner." You laughed, starting the machine. The two of you walked out, hand in hand.
"Look at you two being inseparable." Jin teased, clicking the tongs in his hands. Yoongi rolled his eyes but didn't let you go.
When you first started dating and being more open around the other members, you and Yoongi would have separated if one of the members teased you. But now, Yoongi wouldn't part from you.
"I'll cook the rice and ramyeon." You tied your hair up.
"You should sit. You already cooked lunch." Yoongi said to you, patting your hip.
"You cooked lunch too. Plus you and Jin already did most of the work. It's just rice and ramyeon." You smiled. Yoongi nodded and helped you tuck your stray hairs behind your ears so they wouldn't bother you. You washed your hands and went to scoop the rice into the rice cooker.
"Wow, it's smelling good!" Jimin said as he came in, running his hands over his damp hair.
"Can you get the side dishes out from the fridge?" Jin requested. Jimin saluted and went to do that. While waiting for the rice to cook, you got the cutlery and plates to set the table.
"What are you doing now?" Taehyung shuffled over to you. You pointed to the ramyeon stack.
"Can I help?" He asked.
"Sure. I just need to open all these before the water boils." You giggled. Jungkook might be the youngest but Taehyung was everyone's baby brother.
"Once that's all done, we can eat. Get your drinks and rice." Yoongi announced to everyone.
"Yes, hyung!" Everyone went to line up with their rice bowls while you continued to cook the ramyeon.
"I got your rice, aegi." Yoongi told you.
"Thanks, Yoon. It's almost done." You said to everyone. Once the noodles were done, Jungkook came to help you carry the pot to the table. You took your seat beside Yoongi and he cracked open your can of soda for you.
"Thank you for cooking~" Everyone dug into the food hungrily. As always, the dinner conversation was spent chatting and laughing, as well as reminiscing old memories.
And as the others cleared up after dinner, you sat with Yoongi in the living room. He nestled a glass of whiskey in his hand.
"Come." He called you to him. You leaned your head on his shoulder and he wrapped an arm around you.
"Are you sleepy? I bet you didn't nap earlier since the younger ones dragged you out to play." He asked. You shook your head but was betrayed by your yawn.
"You're such a liar." Yoongi snorted.
"Am not." You scoffed, pinching his side. When clean up was done, the others invited you to play some games.
"Refill?" Namjoon asked Yoongi, refilling his own whiskey glass after coming down from the mini reading corner upstairs. The two of them always enjoyed reading with a glass of whiskey.
"I'm good. Thanks." Yoongi placed his empty glass down.
"Yoongi! I won! Did you see that?! I am the champion!" You turned to your boyfriend and pointed to the screen, squealing in excitement. Yoongi leaned his head on his hand with an endearing smile and nodded his head, giving you a thumbs up, he was like a parent watching his child play and win for the first time.
"Rematch!" The boys protested.
"No way! I'm going to bed." You stuck your tongue out at them, causing them to jeer at you. Hearing what you said, Yoongi put his glass down on the table and stood up.
"You don't have to go with me, you know? You can stay with them if you're not tired." You giggled.
"No, I'm tired too." Yoongi said.
"Goodnight. See you tomorrow." You all wished each other. After he placed his whiskey glass in the sink, Yoongi and you walked hand in hand back to your shared room.
"I'm not going with you because I have to, it's because I want to. So don't feel like you're making me do anything." Yoongi suddenly said.
"I know. But it's your vacation too. I don't want you to feel like you have to stick with me constantly." You shrugged.
"I'll gladly stick with you 24/7, that's my ideal vacation." He smiled softly. You lightly punched his arm for being so cheesy. Yoongi would only act this way around you privately and you liked that.
"You can set up your music stuff here if you prefer the space here over the camper. I don't mind it, really." You told him as you squeezed toothpaste onto both your toothbrushes. Honestly, you were so used to Yoongi and his music equipment, it didn't bother you.
"This is our space and since I'm working with some of the members, I don't want them coming in and out." He explained.
"I don't mind it if it makes things more convenient for you." You smiled.
"I mind. I prefer our privacy. The camper's just there so it's not a far walk but thank you for offering, aegi." He rubbed your back. The two of you brushed your teeth and washed your faces.
"Alright, you can change your mind any time." You said as you wiped your face with a clean towel.
"Thank you." He kissed your temple and left you to do your skincare.
"Surprisingly, there are still people sending me messages, congratulating me on finishing my military service." Yoongi noted, sitting at the table with his iPad.
"Maybe they didn't know you finished and saw a news article so they congratulated you now." You giggled.
"Yeah, Halsey asked when we are going back to America to visit her and her family." He said.
"Sure, if your schedule allows it. I can't wait to see Ender again. Children change a lot in 2 years." You said. Yoongi nodded in agreement with a small hum. Of course, you followed him to America on holiday and Yoongi insisted he meet the celebrities that he was close with.
What fans didn't know was that your home wallpaper on your phone was the full, actual picture of Yoongi snuggling up to Ender when you both visited him as a baby.
"Maybe this time he won't give me stares when I say hi to him." Yoongi scoffed.
"Please, he loved you! You were just an awkward uncle at the start." You giggled, walking over to him.
"I still am an awkward uncle. I was never one that was great with children. Taehyung and Jimin are great with kids, even clumsy Namjoon is." He said, hands resting on your waist.
"You're great at a lot of other things, so what if you're not comfotable with children." You ran your fingers through his hair.
"Thanks, aegi." He laughed, pressing his forehead against your middle.
After Yoongi finished replying to some emails, the two of you changed and headed to bed but you both didn't sleep just yet. One thing you and Yoongi liked to do was just lay on your bed and use your phones, scrolling on social media.
"Look, it's you." You showed him a video of a white kitten that was sleeping on the couch like a human. Yoongi rolled his eyes and turned back to look at his own phone.
"How was your first day here?" Yoongi asked you.
"Good. It's nice to get away and spend some time with the others." You giggled and Yoongi hummed.
"Besides, isn't this technically the first holiday you guys are taking as 7? It's nice to just have a break for yourselves." You said. Yoongi nodded his head.
"Yeah, no cameras before the next comeback." Yoongi put his phone to charge and turned back to look at you.
"I can't wait for the new Run BTS episodes." You teased, charging your own phone.
"The fans will realise that military didn't change us. We're still the same competitive people that will fight over a cup of ramyeon." Yoongi chuckled as you scooted closer to him.
"And I love that about all of you. You never let anything change you." You reached up to cup his cheek.
"I love you." He held your hand and kissed your fingertips. You smiled softly and leaned in to give him a peck before burying your face against his chest. You felt Yoongi move slightly so he could pull the blanket up to cover the both of you, making sure you were well tucked in and warm.
"Goodnight." You wished. Yoongi grunted and threw his leg over you to hold you even clsoer to him. Even if you usually started cuddling, you and Yoongi would usually break apart at night.
"Are you cold? I can adjust the aircon." Yoongi asked, his hand stroking the exposed skin of your hip.
"I'm okay. The blanket is warm enough." You snuggled against him.
"Shall I wake you up for breakfast tomorrow or do you want to wait until you wake up on your own?" He checked. You hummed, knowing Yoongi was quite an early riser.
"I'll wake up a little later. Maybe 10? In case you wake up at like... 7 am." You groaned.
"I don't wake up THAT early. With you around, I tend to wake up late and stay in bed longer." Yoongi chuckled, pinching your cheek.
You slept comfortably with Yoongi, feeling relaxed and tranquil. Usually Yoongi didn't sleep well in a bed that wasn't his own but with you, he could sleep anywhere.
"Yoongi hyung?" Yoongi woke up when he heard someone call him. Even if it was another member, he sat up and instinctively moved to shield your body with his own, since you didn't wear pants to sleep. Taehyung stood at your doorway.
"I completely forgot (y/n) was here. I'm sorry!" Taehyung's eyes widened when he realised.
"Go out. I'll come out." Yoongi said, voice riddled with sleep. Taehyung obediently went to the living room area. With a soft sigh, Yoongi turned to check on you.
"Who was it...?" You mumbled.
"Taehyung. I'll be back, go back to sleep." He kissed your temple and went out.
"Sorry! I really forgot (y/n) was here, we usually just go to each other's rooms to wake each other up..." Taehyung looked so distraught Yoongi didn't have to heart to say anything.
"It's fine, Taehyung. Just tell me, what do you need?" Yoongi yawned, running his fingers through his hair.
"Jin hyung's making noodles for breakfast and he wanted to ask if you and (y/n) want some." He relayed. Yoongi looked at the clock.
"Oh, it's 9 already... No, it's okay, thanks for coming to ask. I think we'll just wait for lunch." Yoongi said. Taehyung nodded with a salute and left. Yoongi went back to the room, making sure to close and lock the door this time. He fell back into bed with a long exhale and got under the blanket with you.
"Who was it..." You breathed out, turning to face Yoongi.
"Boys asking if we want breakfast. But I told them we'll stay in bed and just have lunch later." He said, his arm going around your shoulders to hold you to his chest.
"Good idea. I'm not ready to leave the bed." You yawned and buried your face against him.
"Mmm, sleep more." He patted your head. Although Yoongi didn't want to sleep more, he didn't want to move from the bed too.
"We came all the way here just to sleep." You chuckled, voice slightly muffled but of course, Yoongi understood you. Under your cheek, his chest shook as he laughed.
"Isn't that the best holiday?" He asked, stroking your back. This was the ideal holiday to him.
"I guess... We won't have time to sleep in and spend time like this once you guys start having comebacks again." You said.
"That's true." He hummed.
"What time do you have to get up to record?" You asked, obviously you were not going back to sleep too. But it felt nice to be as close to Yoongi as possible.
"Not sure, don't worry about it. We'll always find time. Anyway, we're here to relax, not work. I'll just find Jungkook later to do the guide vocals, I'm sure he is also going to sleep in." He snorted. You nodded in agreement.
"But working on music is a form of relaxation to you." You teased. Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"There you go again, spreading those sort of rumours like Jin hyung. I'm not a workaholic, you know? I'm not always working on music, I have a life outside of work." He scoffed.
"Mmm, sure."
"My life outside of work is you. If I didn't have a life outside of music, I wouldn't have you." He stated.
"You're so cheesy, stop it." You reached up to cover his mouth with your hand. Yoongi chuckled and took your hand, planting a light kiss against your palm.
"Soon, I'll be back to watching you backstage or from the wings. And more late night visits to your studio." You sighed.
"Do you miss it?" He asked.
"I thought I wouldn't when you were in the military but I think I do miss it, just a little. But I realised that I'll always miss you when I'm not with you. It's going to take me a while to adjust." You said.
"Now who is being the cheesy one?" Yoongi poked your side, making you squirm. You lifted your head, moving your body up slightly to hug Yoongi properly, winding your arms around his neck. You could feel him plant a kiss to the top of your head, resting his cheek there as his hands rubbed your back lovingly.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too." You replied without any hesitation. You knew you were going to miss having Yoongi around so much.
Even without saying it, you both shared the same thought, you wanted to spend as much time together as possible before Yoongi's schedules kept him busy.

I just feel like even if we all vote and Biden wins, Trump won't accept the loss, and eventually they'll just put him in anyway. And then there won't be another real election. Even if Biden wins and somehow is actually confirmed (which again, I think is unlikely) we're going to have to do this for 30 more years because of the SC, and that isn't at all sustainable.
All this isn't to say I won't vote but I just think people are being way too optimistic about what happens if Biden wins. I don't think him winning will keep Trump out or the horrible fascist future at bay.
Look, I get the fear. I do, I do... but this is also one of the times when you have to ask if it's actually telling you something true, or if it's just preying on that generalized feeling of doom to make everything seem hopeless even if we win again. And that is... there is absolutely no actual mechanism for Trump to be installed as president if Biden wins the Electoral College (since as we have repeatedly seen, the popular vote is immaterial). SCOTUS is horrible and evil and are trying to interfere as much ahead of time for Trump as they can, but part of that is because they can't simply issue an order for Biden to be removed and Trump to become God King By Fiat. That is not how it works. If Biden wins in November, he will be president until his term ends, he steps down, Kamala takes over, or anything else.
Trump tried a coup with all the entire overwhelming might of the US government as the sitting president last time; fortunately, it failed. Reforms to the Electoral Count Act have been made to prevent another January 6. The Department of Defense and the military are still under (and would be on another January 6) Biden's command, not Trump's. That's not to say that Trump won't try some shit with his insane cult followers, but he is just a late 70s conman from Queens out on bail and under sentence for a criminal trial, who is already the biggest and most disgraced loser and asshole in American political history. He is so desperate to cheat his way back into power because in a real sense, this IS the last-chance saloon for him. He can't put off the legal proceedings, however long they take, for another four years. He's losing his marbles at a rapid rate. I'm just saying: we don't know what or when, but there will be (and already have been) real consequences for him. That is why he is scrabbling so hard.
"Even if we vote, nothing matters and Trump will win anyway" is another of those insidious lies that works to make you feel as if the battle is endless and pointless and none of its victories matter. Of course it will not all be magically fixed forever if Biden wins. We will still have to figure some godforsaken fucking way to expand SCOTUS or kick Alito and Thomas off it. But we will have bought ourselves, our democracy, our country, and the world time to do that, and put another nail in Trump's coffin. That matters. It matters a lot.
Fascism wants to present itself as overwhelming, irresistible, inevitable, and ready to happen no matter what you do, and that's what your brain wants you to buy in now. But that's not the case, Trump is not inevitable or some all-powerful monolith (in fact, another of the debate takeaways seemed to be that Biden looked bad but people still hate Trump too much for it to really shift anything). He is a loser, a fraud, a conman, a liar, and a crook, and he WANTS you to fear him like an almighty god. Don't give him or the MAGAGOP the satisfaction.
Frankly, having to endure another four months of this might kill us all, and I know that we are tired and scared (me too). But IT IS NOT INEVITABLE THAT WE ARE DOOMED. Not at all. Let's hang onto that and tell that anxiety doom voice to shove it.
Hugs.

Kinktember Day 10: Mirror
Twice Mina x male reader smut
words: 4,108 Kinktember Masterlist

Do you ever look in the mirror and see someone who isn't you?
It was a simple questionâif a rather loaded one.
"No," said Mina. "No, I don't think so. Not in a bad way, but maybe in disbelief of who I've become. Sometimes I expect to see the same person I was almost ten years ago. A simpler me. Maybe a more nervous and afraid version of me. That sort of thing."
"My therapist told me that was imposter syndrome," you said. "It's common, but it's pretty fucked up, the way we act like we're lying to ourselves."
"Have you thought of seeing her again?" Mina asked.
"God, that'd be awkward, don't you think?" you responded.
Mina paused, holding a glass midway to her mouth as if thinking, 'Between you and her or you and me?' Then she seemed to decide and smiled to herself, "Right."
Mina never erred into the intrusive or tactless. It's why you never have the impression that she is nosing around your life, because she gives you all the leeway to share only what you wish to share. And maybe that's why the both of you have lasted this long; in this arrangement, you found this unique level of trust, and you dare say it makes you damn good together.
"Our friend over there at the end of the bar looks like he can't take his eyes off you," you told her without looking up from your drink, not to draw attention. Mina chanced a discreet glance from the corner of her eye.
She quirked an eyebrow at you, "So? Feel threatened?"
You laughed into your drink before taking a mouthful of it, and then you told her, "I was about to get up, but you know that as soon as I do, he's going to come over."
"Of course, he will," Mina grinned into her own glass, then tipped her chin back to get at the last of it. "You go ahead to the room, I'll let him down gently." She patted at the front of your suit coat, above your breast pocket. It was a playful gesture. She had barely touched you all night until then.
"Early morning tomorrow, Mina, don't waste too much time now."
Mina smiled her "oh-shut-the-fuck-up" smile, before tucking a strand of stray hair behind her ear and running her fingers through the thick long black strands. You smiled to yourself and signalled to the bartender.
It's been a long day, and tomorrow will be longer still. Hotel bars had become a sort of ritual for you and Mina, you share a drink the day before you close a deal, half in premature celebration and half as a good luck charm.
And the thing is, Mina is a flirt. Through and through. Charm and wit. It works on clients, and it's an asset. The only problem is, it worked on you. It wasn't difficult to recognise your attraction for what it was, and she obviously took notice of it too. And you, well...
You're a professional, so you would never, ever let yourself act on it. This is why you returned to your room, alone, and why ten minutes later you heard the door open to her (conveniently joined) room. You're professionals, if you're going to fuck, at least you try to hide it.
The adjoining door opens. Oops, did you leave that unlocked? How silly of you.
"Sorry about the wait. Didn't want to seem rude, you know." She leans against the doorframe.
"How long after I left?"
"Barely a minute, he did the whole 'You-look-familiar' bit, so I humoured him..." Mina cocks a smile of arrogance. "For a minute. Before, you know... Letting him down gently."
"Did he go quietly, then?"
"He tried to ask me if I was sure I wanted to be alone." She shakes her head slowly as she saunters forward. "I was sure. Sure about coming up here and riding you senseless. Didn't tell him that, of course, just up and left. Anyway, for tomorrow, I was thinkingâ"
"Let's rewind to that part about riding me senseless, shall we?"
A playful smile takes to the corners of her mouth. "Let's."
You climb up from the bed, your shirt hangs loosely from your body, no tie at the neck and untucked from your trousers. "So, would you say it's going to be more of aâ"
"If you are going to finish that with some terrible sex metaphor, I will kick your ass so hard." She kicks off her heels at the door. That long black dress she wore earlier is long gone, replaced by the lightest of sheer black chemises and a pair of little lacy black underwear.
"Kick my ass," you tell her, placing a hand on each of her hips. "Sure."
"Be quiet." She whispers it before she kisses you, deeply and softly. The sort of kiss that makes you forget yourself. Your arms circle her waist, and her arms rest on your shoulders. You savour it, the smell of her perfume, the taste of her tongue, the feeling of her hands trailing across the skin at the nape of your neck.
But in due time, that kiss breaks apart. Her hand trails down the front of your dress shirt, button by button, she has undressed you so many times now that the motion seems so familiar, and practised, but she still takes her time in doing it, as though with every undone button her anticipation is built upon.
You place your hand against the curve of her hip, thumbing gently, with feather-light touches along the black fabric, her small waist and wide hips, firm and round and so shapely in just her lingerieâyour hands could have found no better resting place.
As you slip out of your shirt, Mina slips the delicate straps off her shoulders and the skimpy piece falls away from her body like petals around her feet. Mina is bare for you, save for her panties. Her tits might not be as big as her ass but your mouth still waters at the sight of them.
"Look at me." You love it when Mina demands that, love how she smiles with smug confidence when you have nothing to do but oblige her. Mina turns herself around, and your hands slide down, down the generous arch of her back and cups around her round, firm ass.
"Oh, come now," you can't help but tease her, "How very complacent of you, to think my eyes would look at nothing else but you. You know that I am a man of refined culture." You knead at the ample flesh in each palm, so soft. "I am very clearly an admirer of the finer things in life."
"How very romantic," she laughs, sliding down her underwear with a shimmy of her hips before placing her palms flat against the wall. "Go on then. Enjoy the art, like the cultured man you are."
There is something intoxicating about watching her there, propped against the wall, naked for you, your cock uncomfortable in your trousers. You unbuckle the clasp of the belt, then, in the pause, you approach, letting a single finger trace up the arch of her spine, leaning closer to her neck to whisper, "Not right here. Look over there, the mirror."
A floor-to-ceiling mirror, to be specific. She smiles a devilish little smirk. "And what of it?"
"Mina," you tell her, pressing the front of your trousers against the curves of her body, against the supple flesh of her ass. "I want to see all of you when we fuck. Every beautiful detail."
Mina purred, content. "Spoken like a poet..."
You land a solid and deliberate smack against that big ass of hers, and she lets out a groan. "Don't let it go to your head."
Mina let out an effectual moan, knowing fully how it tempts you. You roughly press your body against hers as she does it. Hooking both your arms around her naked form, you pull her to where you want her, right over to the mirror.
"That's it, take me like you want to." She presses her hand flat against the mirror, pushing back those delicious curves against your body once more. You force down your slacks and underwear until the cool air envelops you, at least until you push against her body once more. You cup both your hands at her full ass, slipping your stiffness between the cheeks and rocking back and forth. Mina is biting her bottom lip as she looks back at you in the mirror, and you look at nothing else but her deep dark eyes, her face framed by that long, dark, glorious hair.
"Your ass. This. This beautiful, beautiful thing of yours, drives men wild, drives me wild," you breathe out as she rocks herself back into your groping hands and your hard cock grinds between her cheeks, slow and methodic. "Drives me a little bit insane."
She deepens her bend, lowering her shoulders level to her ass, and her face presses against the glass. She sinks her teeth into her bottom lip again, peering over her shoulder, a shameless erotic, willing for you to take her in the most raw and depraved way. You can't deny the effect it has on you, and it has you raising your right arm, palm poised to land another satisfying spanking to her ass.
The crack rings out through the room, and she lets out a soft, sweet little, "Oh!"
You wrap a hand around her, over her stomach and down between her legs, reaching for her sweet, slick cunt, and find her soaked, wet with arousal. Wet for you.
"Fuck, you're so horny," you utter hoarsely. You drag your fingers through her juices as you drive your stiff cock over her tight asshole, so much teasing, maybe too much, perhaps too tortuous. You groan into the shell of her ear. "You get so wet for me. So wet. You need it so badly."
She moans, grinding back against you and circling her hips as if it could ease her pain. Half teasing, half goading, she says, "Maybe you should stop fucking playing around and do something about it."
She hisses when you drive your two slick fingers inside her without warning, pushing deeper in one smooth motion, as you mutter into the crook of her neck, "Impatient, aren't we, Mina?"
"Just fuck me."
In response, you slowly withdraw your fingers. She gasps against the mirror, the palm of her hand curling flat into a fist. Her words get you harder as she tries to wiggle her ass and spread herself, desperately trying to draw your dick to the slick pink centre of her sex for you. She doesn't care anymore what this does to your discipline, doesn't care at the prospect of you breaking, turning this into a savage, ravaging of her body; what matters only, at this very instant, is that she gets filled and fucked, fast and hard.
Finally, you give her that. Draw your cock out from between her cheeks, sliding the tip down between her legs, feeling the moisture that glistens on the swollen lips. You don't bother to strap up, or even ask, it's long since established that raw is how she likes it.
Slowly, you push forward. Mina sucks in a breath through her teeth. You know by the arch in the small of her back, the little trembles, that it is taking all her concentration and willpower not to throw her hips back, to force you to the hilt.
You bite the edge of her shoulder, and a shiver travels down Mina's entire body. You pull out, a little, before driving forward a little further.
"You feel..." you groan, your cock feeling like it was engulfed by satin. You sink a little further. "Fuck."
"Mhm, go on," her eyelashes flutter as you begin to take her, in this raw, animalistic way. "Tell me how it feels."
"Every time is like the first time," you continue, sliding in slow, then deeper, bit by bit, until you're all the way in and her big, round ass is pressing hard against your abdomen and her thick thighs against your legs. "You feel warm and slick and tight and wet, and oh, God..."
A sudden thrust forward as her greedy cunt squeezes the length of your shaft. A delicious whimper that sends blood to your head. A long, shaky groan slips from the both of your lips. You buck hard into her ass and watch as it ripples at the contact. "Ah! There, yes. Fuck," Mina moans.
There are two of her, perfect reflections, two Minas taking a rough pounding from behind. Each little expression on her face, each beautiful feature is visible in the reflection. And behind that her body ripples just like the one below you, and she whimpers, helpless as you penetrate her over and over.
"F-faster." She whines. "Harder. God, fuck, fuck me harder."
Mina has always liked it a little on the rough side, so you grab a handful of her hair, ball it in your fist, and pull. "Tell me, how does it feel?" You rear her head back so she has to look at herself in the reflection and tell it to herself. You pick up the pace, beginning to relentlessly pummel her from behind as you bury yourself into her tight heat as deep and hard as you can.
"So... Ah! So good." You yank her hair again, making her ass tense, making her gasp. She pants hard, short and fast as the force and strength of each thrust get stronger. "I love it when you... fuck me like this." Her chest begins to heave up and down. She raises her ass even higher for you. "When youâGod, ah! Ah!âmake me want to scream..."
You feel that incredible warmth building and swelling in your abdomen as her sex drips around your shaft, and it is so hard to slow yourself down when her ass slaps against you in perfect sync with your every motion, when Mina's knees shake, when her desperate moans urge you to never, ever stop. Still, you would like to do a little something before she orgasms all over your cock.
You roughly jerk out of Mina, pulling away abruptly with no warning.
"No, no! Don't stop!" She cries out immediately, her greedy body already missing yours. The flush at her neck spreading, blossoming downâher shoulders pink. "No!" She whimpers as she tries to throw her pussy back against you.
She cries out so pathetically that she doesn't protest when you roughly turn her around and lift her by her thighs, allowing her to wrap her legs around your hips and sink her to the hilt onto you. You sink her down and up and down again and again, bouncing her on and off of your aching cock in front of the mirror, gritting your teeth to keep yourself from finishing the moment her tightness wraps and flexes around you.
"I'm gonna cum so hard, I swear, I can feel it," she gasps in time with your rough pounding, arms holding onto your neck tightly, fingernails digging into your shoulders. "So close, don't you dare stop."
The harder and faster you go, the louder and harder she screams, eyes rolling back and mouth falling open. She digs her heels into your back, pushing down against you so there's nothing left for either of you but pleasure. You pound hard and heavy into her, chasing her orgasm, and when that perfect heat grips all around you and consumes you entirely, there is nothing in the entire world that compares to itâto this. The thought that very soon you will be cumming inside Myoui Mina.
It is that pure bliss, that power and sense of total control, of giving her such pleasure that you're left moaning along with her, revelling in this wonderful mess. Your bodies are sticky and tangled and you just start to let it go. Filling her pretty cunt as you have so many times before.
You grit your teeth and struggle through the overstimulation, taking satisfaction in how the trembling in her legs persists, her breathing ragged and body shaking. Doing your best to fuck your load into herâshe's just so into that sort of thingâyou don't think that there's anything, truly, that is better than this.
Not when Mina whimpers as she weakly presses her nails into the skin of your shoulders and when she knows not how to stop trembling. Your limits are worth pushing for a woman like her.
But even then, limits are ultimately undeniable. Her full weight in your arms, your knees weak, your legs tire beneath you and finally, as you plant a series of gentle kisses along her neck and shoulder, her mouth gasping, her nose against your cheek, you give in and fall to your knees. Mina's back leaves a mark of where it was once imprinted against the glass.
"So..." she laughs breathlessly into your ear as you sit with her on you. "Do you think management has any idea how often we fuck during these trips?"
"I imagine that if they found out it would be both of our jobs on the line." You hold a hand on her lower back, keeping her upright and then place your mouth on one of her breasts. Her nipple is firm, you suck on it and run your teeth over its delicate surface. Mina keens with her mouth falling open and her lashes fluttering, a small quiet "ah" escaping from the back of her throat.
"Guess we better stop," she jokes, breathing out in a chuckle and gently, pushing your forehead away from her chest.
You chuckle dryly into her neck, wrapping both arms fully around her naked body to pull her closer. "Something tells me you won't really be able to help yourself."
"Punishingly handsome, smart, a sense of humourâ" She reaches down to where your half-soft cock is planted within her cunt. "âGreat cock, excellent fuck" As though it were some sort of sales pitch. "No. No, I can't help myself."
"Is this about next week?" you ask.
"They never split us up, we're a team, so why would they send you with her instead?" Mina rocks her hips slowly on your lap. You groan into the crook of her neck.
"It's a one-off, Mina. In two weeks we'll be travelling together again." You wrap your arms around her soft, warm skin and run them down her back. "Another hotel, another set of adjoining rooms."
"Yeah," she sighs as she lazily continues her grinding. "Or, we could... See each other outside of work, you know. Like normal people do."
"We're far from normal, Mina." You let out a soft sigh as you start to harden inside her again. You pull at the small of her back, urging her on. "We're having our fun, right? It works. What reason is there to rock the boat?"
Her arms move up your chest and onto your shoulders. With that same teasing voice of hers, "There's always room for more fun. More sex." Mina pushes hard on your shoulders, and you fall back into the soft carpet. Mina is above youâover youâall-powerful beauty and you want nothing more than to grab her hips and drive up, and into her. Her hair falls over her shoulders and down her arms. Her pert little tits beg to be held. Her face, with flawless skin and those few prominent freckles, is decorated with a filthy smile.
"Two weeks, Mina, two weeks and we'll be back to doing this." You caress the silky soft curves of her sides. "Two more weeks, and then it's a real long trip. Just me and you."
She's visibly more excited, and she rides you harder now than just a gentle grinding and you hear the little wet sounds of your cock plunging into her cum-filled pussy over and over again. Her breasts bounce beautifully, and finally, you do cup one in a hand. A playful glimmer dances in her eyes, along with the lust haze. Mina's wet thighs slap against your hips, the sounds are vulgar in the best way.
"I'm going to fuck you every single morning and night for the whole trip," you tell her, and her grin widens. "Then you won't want for a thing."
Your words only seem to encourage her more, to fuck you harder and harder. She's riding your cock wildly but never has her eyes left yours. She fucks like she does everything else; with every fibre of her being, her passion is unbridled and intense. And oh, when she whimpers, it makes a hot current run straight to the end of your spine, it gets the heat in your head pulsating. That's just what Mina does to you.
"Two weeks without me. You're going to be so frustrated, Mina, so needy. You're gonna make me a promise."
"Mhm?" she gasps.
"You're going to wait for me," you say. "After tonight, for whole two weeks, no cumming."
"No," she says through clenched teeth. "Absolutely not."
"Yes, Mina, absolutely."
You clasp your hands on her hips, slowing down her speed. "Promise me."
She almost struggles to find her voice. "No way. I can't!" Her hips fight against your hold, she fights to drag her cunt over your cock and just feel the pleasure you're denying her. Mina grits her teeth, and the pain is evident on her face. "Okay! Just please fuck me now." She twists her body, trying to release from your hold.
"Promise."
"I promise. I promise. I promise!" Mina squeals, nearly shrieking as you soften your grip and thrust up into her quivering, wet heat. You let her fuck you again and she picks up right where she left offâfrantic and wild. She leans in to kiss you deeply, and a little whimper spills from the corner of her lips. "Fuck. Cum inside me again."
The eagerness with which Mina rises and falls on your cock, her pussy taking in all of you, demands only one thing. Cumâthe mess of you bothâspilling over and running out, all over you and the floor and ruining the hotel's carpet.
"Yes," her voice cracks, high and soft, "Oh fuck. Fuck. God, I'm gonna cum."
It's good, your hands gripping her body firmly, matching her pace, and taking the chance to look behind her, at the mirror, where you can see your cock bury in and out of her again and again. Slipping up below her ass that ripples beautifully every time your hips meet.
Mina cums not even ten seconds later. With an eruption of screams louder than you've ever heard, shudders all over, and more fluid spilling between you both. She's struggling and you feel it. You slap her ass and follow with a groan of words halfway between an instruction and a plea. "Don't stop."
She doesn't stop. She sits up and throws herself back, reaching for something to balance on. A hand against the mirror, her legs spread and her body present to you, she fucks that pretty pussy down onto you so fast, she's struggling to maintain the rhythm but her nails are curling against the glass, her brows are pressed so tense together, her body shakes all over and a cry comes again from that lovely mouth.
She cums again like this as if it's a show for you and what a fucking show it is. Her legs tremble so hard they lose purchase and you begin lifting yourself up into her and the sight, the soundâher soundsâand her perfect body is making you buck and press harder into her. You've become so mindless, so desperate and hungry for her body. You can hardly keep yourself from spilling into her for a second time. But not yet, you think. Not yet and not there.
Mina's leg buckles. She fights for air. "Can't," she chokes out, breathless and shallow. Nothing left to give you. She slips from her perch, collapsing to the floor, leaning against the mirror. Her dark hair matted with sweat, her pale skin gleaming. Her expression is dreamy. "On me. Just finish on me."
On Mina, a work of art. Over her pretty face, or those luscious tits, or that soft tummy. Over that thick, firm and oh-so-perfect ass, or those equally tasty thighs. Maybe even just glaze over her messy cunt. Her eyes flicker as she looks up at you, and you have a decision to make.
"Anywhere. Cum wherever you want."

Silco was set up to be Fishbones from the start
Disclaimer: I won't take season 2 into account At All, because it can't work with setups and payoffs even if its life depends on it.
Alrighty. As we've seen Season 1 paid a lot of attention to set up canon things from LoL into the show as naturally and logically as possible, and at least from my point of view, it handled the job with flying colors. Jayce's hammer, Vi's gauntlets, Vander/Warwick etc, nothing felt out of place. But how does Silco fit into this at all? Let's get down to business to defeat the huns
First of all, what even is Fishbones? In the canon of LoL, it's one of if not the most iconic weapon Jinx has. And it is not only a weapon to her, but a loyal and "beloved" companion, as it's described in one of her skins. She constantly talks to it, and in contrast to her chaotic and impulsive nature, Fishbones is very pragmatic and calm. Sounds like a certain someone, doesn't it? But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
But how does Silco go from being Jinx's father to one of her weapons? There are a lot of points that support that actually, I was surprised myself ngl.
- Silco is the only character in the entire series who is directly and tightly connected to water and underwater creatures. Silco was "reborn" in the water when Vander tried to kill him, the first office he had was placed under the water, with a huge observational window. Silco is also fond of underwater creatures, and while other people call and see them as monsters, Silco pays no attention to it, as he thinks that there's "a monster inside all of us". And here's Fishbones, who is designed after a shark, arguably the most famous "underwater monster". But what is more interesting is that it debuted is the finale of season 1, which is titled "The monster you created". Quite a throughline there.
- Silco was the reason behind Fishbones' creation in the first place. While it does seem that it all started with Jinx, who stole the hex gemstone on the Progress Day, we also need to remember WHY she did it. She did it to impress Silco specifically, to make him to be proud of her. This want was triggered by her screwing up the smuggling mission earlier that day, and while Silco didn't scold her for it much and only advised her to rest for a bit, she saw this as him thinking that she's weak. So, after all of this Silco asks Jinx to make a weapon with the use of gemstone. Not necessarily to use it against Piltover, but to have it as a wild card if his plans go wrong. Jinx agrees and attempts to reverse engineer it, but it triggers her memories when she killed Mylo and Claggor with her bomb, so she tells Silco that she can't do it. He then goes to the river he was nearly killed in with her, and "baptises" her to help her let go of her fear of pain. This seemed to have worked, at least for a little while, because she managed to finish the weapon. So, in conclusion: Fishbones' creation was triggered by Jinx's want to impress Silco, and he helped her with its creation on every step of the way.
- this point is somewhat meta, but I'll use it anyway. In previously mentioned episode 9 Silco tells Jinx that everybody around them betrays them, and they have only each other to love and lean on. He says, quote: "Everyone betrays us, Jinx. Vander, her. It's only us". At the same time, in LoL Jinx says this line to Fishbones: "It's just you and me, Fishbones!". Well.....it's certainly a callback if I've seen one. Like- it's not even funny. They couldn't have written this line on accident.
- now onto the most interesting part for me personally. We all now that there are no accidents in animation, like. At all. Even if there are this is extremely rare, as every frame is created intentionally. Now, we do now that there are quite. A few discrepancies between writers and animators of arcane, but I don't think this applies in this particular case. Now onto the actual point. So, in the finale of season 1 Jinx kills Silco, and it's shown to us like this.

He's turned with right side ("human") of his face to the camera, while the left side ("monster") side is hidden.
As Jinx fires Fishbones at the council

It's positioned with its right side to the camera, which alignes with Silco's "monster eye". Also, Fishbone's eye has a black scar pattern around its eye, which again, resembles Silco's damadged eye. That could mean that Silco is once again "reborn", and now continues to live on in the monster Jinx created.
And here comes the most awesome part in all of this. When Silco adopts Powder, he hugs her and tells her

Do you see how the frame is positioned? Exactly. It is exactly the same framing scene with Jinx and Fishbones has. And, most importantly, when Jinx pulls the trigger, we hear the exactly same line on the background: "We will show them all". It simultaneously shows: that Jinx's attack on the council is her way of dealing with grief of killing Silco; her way of honoring Silco's fight against Piltover; and a direct transition of Silco into Fishbones. Although he's dead in body, but Jinx's memories of him and his voice now continue to live in Fishbones, her new eternal companion.
I am at awe with the fundamental work that's been done with this setup, and although s2 never followed up on this, I still can get enjoyment from the clear intent creators put here originally.
#we wouldn't even need flashbacks to show Jinx and Silco's relationship in detail if he'd spoke to her as fishbones#this would be the most awesome thing ever#and it still is. in my mind#arcane critical#silco arcane#jinx arcane#silco and jinx#arcane
