Maribor recap or long rambling, some pics and trying to make sense in my head:

1. Thank you @chibi-chellist again for reaching out, it meant a lot not to be alone! Rambling about the boys is so much better in person and when it's not one-sided. I enjoyed meeting you and sharing experiences! 💕

2. Kaj pa Ester? is one of the cringiest things I've recently seen, especially dialog wise haha BUT it is also funny and kinda cute. Very teenage-y I guess, with too much lots of kissing and parties for which scenes they used some terrible modern cajke music (like use the good old soul ripping ones that don't mention Elon Musk... teenagers today smh). Anyway, I wouldn't mind it being longer and better developed in the emotional areas which you see they scratched but need deepening to give an actual sense of plot and sense to the movie. Could be due to the fact it was supposed to be a show first tho. However, I couldn't see Bojan's personality, mannerisms or gestures so in that sense I feel he did a great job acting 👏

And THE SCENE. Oh boy. Less sad and more frustrated bojerking. Putting shame aside to admit I would love to have it available on demand, especially for some ragged breathing appreciation...

3. Bought and tried Jan's fav cookies, yaay! They're really soft and don't crumble so I approve and will enjoy. I'm sure sentimental reasons are definitely a big part of why he named them as favorite and when I think about it they really suit him but there are better Slovenian cookies like almost any from Težak bakery in Zreče.

4. Half the venue were teenagers or parents with anything between 4 to 12 year olds. I was surrounded. And since I sat a few rows above the backstage entrance, kids all tried reaching for them as they were going off stage and among all the girls there was an 8 (?) year old boy who reached out and Bojan gave him a high-five... and lemme tell you I very much dislike kids but the way that boy turned and excitedly smiled melted my icy heart.

5. Third concert of theirs, third time on Jan's side. And I think Kris somehow knows & takes revenge by not singing NGVOT whenever I'm in the audience 😔

6. Found it adorable how as ASTP was starting, Nace went to drink some water, took his bottle and clinked it against Jure's 🥂

7. Love that Maks was there again, I like the guy. At some point during the concert he was leaning on the fence above me taking pics and I missed half a song watching him work 🙈

8. As I was behind the loudspeakers, I heard Bojan's singing fine, but talking barely because it was often too distorted. What I did hear was him saying we came there for a workout to burn all the cookie calories from the last few days... and boy are you on the wrong track because I came back home with four different packs of cookies 🍪

9. Band dad Niko's daughter was with him watching the concert from next to the stage and he danced with her and it was adorable. The existence of good dads baffles my poor unloved ass...

10. We all know how in the setlist there's a connection between Padam and Demoni because Bojan even sometimes said "and when we fall they come", but I realised the chain starts with Dopamin. First you get a dopamine rush and feel like flying but soon you experience a crash because your body used up all the good stuff and then comes the falling and the demons (and then you go back to someone so the demons would go away but that someone just plays you again - if I wanna extend it to Katrina). Yes it's kind of a concert - post concert sadness - concert rinse&repeat metaphor

11. Janči had problems with his pedalboard for the first two or three songs, he and Kiki spent minutes fiddling with it trying to get it to work. Poor guy can't catch a break.

12. So yeah, the last point is based on Jan being sick, but it's actually about the main reason I like them so much - the connection, love and care they share.

I realised Jan wasn't okay during the concert so Bojan just confirmed it for me. He obviously still slayed, and he went to play at the front a lot, but there were telling moments.

A) When Bojan came to Jan at one point and rubbed his back in a very non performative way, squeezing at his shoulder and whispering something.

B) When Jan plopped down during Padam I thought "not when he usually goes down, is he okay?" and then Bojan leaned down to stroke his hair.

C) The most telling of all, when he sat down during Umazane misli. I kept looking at him, ignoring the left-front-right karaoke. He looked so tired and off, put his head in his hands and then Kiki gave him a bottle of water. When Nace turned around and noticed him like that, he smiled encouragingly and told him it's okay three times (yep they were close enough to read lips) and that's when I was 100% sure something was wrong and he was either feeling off emotionally or sick. He then got up, went to the front, played his ass off and only when he was walking back was it visable again for a moment how empty his expression was.

D) Jure coming to comfort him and cheer him up as soon as he could lift his ass away from those drums, leading him to the front where in the end Jan turned out to be the one stroking Nace's back in a "yeah it's okay" kinda way

E) As they were leaving for the final time, someone gave Jan a wrapped present he looked actually happy about and he threw back a pick but it fell where the person couldn't reach so Nace took over making sure the person gets it.

That's it. They are all utterly beautiful. And anyone who knows me, knows I use that word to describe people first and foremost on the inside. Beautiful.

So I stayed up until like four last night writing down the lyrics for the Circe Saga because it’s incredible and Spotify didn’t have lyrics yet but since tumblr doesn’t want me to post pics rn for some reason I’ll just try again later and instead talk about the songs!!! :D

Puppeteer- The intro instrumental lives in my head to rent and so does Eurylochus’s rap part, I need to know what he was going to tell Odysseus he sounded so vulnerable- I swear this guy is climbing up my favorite characters list, I do find it interesting how he wanted to leave the crew behind with Circe when later in Mutiny he confronted Odysseus for “trading the lives of his crew” in order to get home so hopefully that means he had a change and heart and wasn’t just being a hypocrite, I also love how the Circe Saga as a whole but especially Puppeteer and There Are Other Ways really highlight how terrible Odysseus feels about everything he’s done, everyone he’s failed or killed since leaving home, I need to know how he goes from hating himself to embracing all he’s done

Wouldn’t You Like- HEHEHEH I absolutely adore the synthwave-y aspects of the song I’m a huge lover of synthwave vibes as of recent, I would genuinely vibe to the instrumental all day long, Mr. Jalapeño release the instrumental versions pLplzplz 🙏, I’m sure we all know by know that Troy is the real Hermes there’s no other way he can bring THAT much charisma to the role, I’ve seen charisma before but never like that oh my god, I also love his unhinged laugh so much idk how he does it but I want to learn, also when I was writing the lyrics I had to stop for a sec and be like “is this song just Hermes giving his great grandson drugs ooor-“ because that’s 100% something he would do

Done For- okay was the lyric for this song always “I just ate a flower, one that claims your power” cuz I could have sworn it was drains your power but I might just be crazy, also chimera supremacy I love that Jorge was able to find a way to implement it, Jorge and Talya’s voices sound so great together I need more 😭, I also love that this song starts to hint at more depth behind Circe’s actions idk who out here thinks she’s a meh one-note/one-off villain but she’s not!! I’ll make a 50 page PowerPoint on this don’t test me!!

This is what I’m saying she feels like she has no choice other than to hurt people so that the people she loves will stay safe, she’s literally Odysseus further down the line! it’s so fascinating to see a character like this facing off against the main protagonist bc at this point in the story we don’t know what kind of person he will become yet and yet Jorge shows us with Circe Ahdldhnsbdk

There Are Other Ways- Okay I’ll be honest, this song was the last one on my radar not bc I didn’t like it but because I was just looking forward to others so much more and it was also the one I intentionally heard less clips of because I wanted at least one song that I didn’t already know half of the lyrics to 💀 ANYWAY THIS ONE IS THE BEST SONG IN THE CIRCE SAGA CHANGE MY MIND (I’m so sorry Troy I love your voice but this song is simply better) Dude the lyrics go soso hard in this one, I’m such a sucker for one character having like a big emotional moment while another is like singing/backing them up in the background and there’s so much of that here, and the call backs? Both to earlier songs in the saga AND Just A Man, my favorite song Just A Man? Every call back to that song is just so RAW I LOVE IT, I don’t know a ton about Greek mythology outside of Epic so I dont know if Circe and Posideon have this past beef or something but I do find it interesting that it’s only after he is mentioned that Circe decides to help Odysseus but I also think it’s larger due to how he reminds her of herself with how he misses Penelope, UM THE BEAT DROP after the underworld is mentioned for the first time??? CHILLS SHIVERS EVERYTHING dude I love how the entire atmosphere changes so much because yes this could be Odysseus’ only change to make it home safely but it’s also so much more dangerous than the shitty situation they’re already in so there’s not even time for relief or a breath of air like he’s IN it now there’s no going back

She is future Odysseus! ANOTHER STARKID MUSICAL. this one is just…… soooo good and funny and also . tragic. one of the characters reminds me a lot of toji :’3 former veteran w a dead wife…. who struggles to show his son how much he cares…… and the theme of capitalism and money and how it corrupts ppl also feels in line w toji’s character!! but above all else this musical is abt. Family. and that’s more toji than anything!!! :((( this is another musical that i rlly recommend checking out, it’s set in the same universe as the guy who didn’t like musicals but like . an alternate timeline. it’s not my favorite in the series but the songs slap and it made me cry so <3333 yeah.

was lowkey considering six the musical for my beloved nobara (bc of the gorgeous women and catchy fun songs) but . i think heathers fits her more!!!! i just feel like she’d ADORE it…… i know she’s singing along at the top of her lungs too LMAO especially to dead girl walking <3333 it’s just such a fun badass musical and i think she’d be obsessed. she does NOT like jd tho god bless 🙏🙏

Class 1A Boys + music they listen to (PART 2)

There's always that ONE person who is like a parent when it comes to his whole class and music making sure it's "school appropriate" and that would be no other than the class rep, Iida.

Has a playlist for literally his life routine lol (study, relaxing, outings, running in the rain in his retro raincoat 😂,etc.). I feel like he would listen to like 90's music, classic rock (his fav artist is Foo Fighters for sure) he doesn't mind playing his stuff every now and then but he's busy most of the time preparing for class. nerd lol.

May sound shocking but he likes SOME rap but it's all old school rap/hip-hop like Biggie, Ice T, Usher, MC Hammer but he only listens to it outside of U.A though because he doesn't want "taint his image of class rep". He tried trying new school rap and..let's say he'll just stay where he is (he almost got hurt BUT that's for another story!)

The only classmate that is so chill with almost every genre of music is Sero. Even songs in different languages and more exotic genres like nudisco, jazzfunk, and french house (which are his favorites, cause it's a rarity he cherishes). He would play japanese funk while he drives down the road JUST for the ✨aesthetic✨ (future au idea). Dua Lipa, Kali Uchis, Doja Cat, Rosalia, JIAFEI just any other artist that sings in another language other than english he'll know. And he sings it so well but has no idea what a lick of it means well except for japanese.

Is not scared of talking about it to any of his classmates and actually persuading them to give it a try or if he plays it on his bluetooth speaker before class starts and then one of his classmates asks him the next day for ex: Tokoyami asks him "Hey Sero, what was that techo like song were you playing yesterday, for some reason it's in my head." and then the tape boi will go through his recently played songs from yesterday (he's a yt music kinda guy tbh). Then basically almost everybody is interested in what he has in store next

In other words he's the one who always brings his speaker to class but is respectful and plays it before class even starts, he's an early bird.

Denki, is the twin of Sero cool with any kind of music but leans more into the weebcore/rap category. He most likely will play weeb music in his dorm room, the usual anime openings and ending theme songs with a dorky smile on his face humming along while reading manga.

Is the aux cord GOD, will never disappoint the Bakusquad with any music he plays in the car he'll play some Marshmello and everyone would get littt🔥🔥🔥 or some nostalgic jpop to sing awfully off tune to to piss off Bakugo ofc.

Fun Fact: The whole Bakusquad got kicked out of his car at least five times singing terribly lmaooooo

Hmm, I never know whether artists are underrated or not because 99% of the music I've listened to since 2018 is European (thanks Eurovision) so it's always stuff that my immediate IRL circle in the US doesn't know 🤔

My current 🥇fav artist is still Ultra Sunn, I know I've mentioned them before. Their song Can You Believe It just does it for me. It just scratches my brain all the right ways. I'm obsessed with it and have listened to it more times in 2024 than any other song by far. Can also strongly recommend Set Yourself On Fire. And just about everything else of theirs.

The next one I wouldn't call underrated, even some of my US friends know who he is, but someone showed me Beaux Rêves by Loïc Nottet ages ago and I just re-discovered it recently. It's definitely been on repeat. I like to sing along even though my French is absolute trash but shh 😜

Third song I'll suggest is Han by Regnvær. This one much like the above two I could easily listen to 20-30 times in a row before wanting to hear something else. I do have Norwegian as one of my languages on Duolingo but I don't do it very often, but I've grasped enough to understand a good chunk of the song's lyrics. But of course songs in languages other than English has never bothered me anyways.

And fourth bonus because I couldn't leave him out, George Ergem. Stolen Skies and If You Hear Me are my favorites. But also have both been on repeat for a long time now. I really love his voice. He's also got a cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy The Silence which is pretty similar to the original but still pretty cool.

Okay 5th bonus, and they're actually from the US! Twin Tribes, particularly their songs Heart & Feather and Shadows. I like them, sorry I've run out of steam because I'm posting this on my phone and omg has it taken so long. Dunno if it would be faster if I used spotify like a normal person instead of youtube...

Listening to one song on repeat

My experience with listening to a certain sound or song on repeat for long periods of time.

Shown below all this text is my most recent streams on Spotify. as you can see,, there is just one song listed, and that's because It's all I've listened to for the past 2 days or so.

I have done this kinda thing sing as long as I recall having personal access and control over what I listen to. my earliest memories of it being the time my mom let me chose the song we play on the sound system (the song in question was Rock the Nation by Michael Franti) and i would constantly ask her to "play it again!" until she couldn't handle it anymore. Next it was when we bought the Curious George movie on CD and in the bonus features, there was a music video for the song played earlier in the movie Upsidedown by Jack Johnson (again was eventually asked to stop playing it over and over lmao.

Next was when i was old enough to stay for the "after school program" it essentially let the kids get into fun toys and boardgames and such and what I would do every single time is find one of the three sony CD walkmen in the electronics box, put in the Shrek soundtrack cd and set SmashMouth's allstar to loop, then proceed to walk up and down the gym's left wall gliding my fingers against the textured grout for the next hour and a half to three hours depending if it was an extended day.

Next was another walkman, my older sibling's bf at the time would bring one over with him when he visited along with his latest playlist burned to a cd and would let me borrow it. this is when I heard the oh-so-familiar and desired FireFlies by Owlcity (my current fav song at the time that I could only hear on the car radio when going into town) where I would proceed to lie on my upper bunk bed in complete darkness and imagine I was in space.

Another time was when a different friend would bring over their iPod and I would loop a couple greenday and Metallica songs over and over (I don't remember the song names now lmao)

Fast forward to my teen years im actively annoying my siblings after playing a song 7 times too many. yada yada ya-

I am aware of that now,,

my friends have been pointing out traits that were worth looking into for a while and I finally did and ya. when I went in they said it was not hard to notice and identify it from the moment I walked in the door.

Anyway, this post isnt about that its actually about how self-aware and insecure I've become from having others perceive this part of me. I've never really had any bad experiences aside from the occasional family member shout at me to "stop playing the same song" which is whatever.

The real issue for me is things like Spotify Wrapped and the idea that what I listen to as an auditory stim is perceived as my "taste" in music and such. i guess its rooted in maintaining a kind of character in the social aspect, and feeling like I have to make what I listen to look palatable to peers and that means having a high listen count and knowledge of artists whose music has meaning and depth while also not being caught listening to the opposite (breakcore, hyperpop, noise, goofy nonsensical hip-hopy stuff, etc)(?)

Which I'm finding to be stackingly exhausting and I think I've trying this year and lastyear to give myself the grace of being me and not conforming to the shape I feel pressured to fit into.

I hear and read a lot of peer's takes or reviews on music and such (which I think is important to have ofc) but it kinda feels to cliquey for me to feel fully comfortable being in those circle's conversations.

oh noes again! hmm i guess this would be unpopular with a lot of people who are way too pretentious about liking music. not pretentious like us correct music opinion havers here on tumblr we have the perfect amount and kind of pretentiousness, i mean pretentious like ben shapiro saying rap definitionally isnt music. and my opinion does have to do with rap! i guess its just that i tend to actually like a lot more recent rap than older stuff (mostly on account of me not seeking out a lot of older rap but im working on it), which i feel like is the exact opporsite opinion of people who are that kind of person would accept. like if ur a pretentious rap fan (not ben shapiro obviously but the ben shapiro of rap fans i guess), in my mind u like the classics and old school stuff "with substance" but shit on modern day rappers for being too braggy, having "no substance", using too many drugs, or whatever like that wasnt happening at all with older rappers and also just musicians.. like who caares its a fun rap song. fav rappers in this category would probably be ski mask the slump god, lil pump to a degree, and lil yachty. like he straight up took the wock to poland fuck offffffff.

well i dont have a handy infographic for the occasion but i do have a litte story! when i was a kid i know i said i mostly just got music from the radio and that is true, but my mom would burn cds for me off limewire a lot with songs i requested. with them being mostly ones i liked that i heard off the radio in the first place. just radio but two steps removed. anyway i dont remember a lot of the songs i had put on those cds as this was before i was 12 and thus part of the but i do remember a few, whihc i will detail for u here! a few newer eminem songs (like post debut stuff but yknow before his peanus got an atti. tude) like not afraid and lose yourself and that one with rihanna, liked me some eminem what can i say. another was california girls by katy perry and shnoop doggy dogg and that probably has the first ever Makes Violet Dance Alone In Her Room Award ever. i also really liked replay a lot when i was a kid. u know. ssShawty like a melodyyy. that one. and then the last one i can remember is Love like Woe by The Ready Set. this one i definitely heard when my sister was watching some vh1 music videos and i just kept getting the chorus stuck in my head as a kid. straight up cognitohazard to 9 year old violer.

ok so i don't rlly have a ton of romantic hcs for p1/p4 bcuz i don't rlly see them as having a romantic relationship y'know, more of just a rlly close bond (kinda like a father-son relationship) buuuut here's some anyways

-p4 understands p1 more than any other dude does. he doesn't make fun of p1's issues or insecurities at all, he'd never even *think* abt disrespecting him like that

-they can sit in silence with each other for hours. they enjoy each other's company, even if they aren't speaking

-p1 will still infodump to p4 at any given moment. if he sees something even remotely similar to one of his interests he'll be like "y'know what this reminds me of? *proceeds to give an hour long talk abt his interests* "

-p4 always listens to him btw, and likes to chime in with questions and comments to let p1 know that he's legitimately listening

-p1 likes to listen to p4 sing. usually p4 just hums a tune stuck in his head, or sometimes he'll just softly sing a song to himself. p1 told him that he had a nice voice and p4 almost died right then and there (/pos)

-rlly dumb hc but p1 RLLY likes to knit. it helps calm his nerves and keeps him mind from wandering. when he's feeling out of it p4 will ask him if he's knitted anything new recently, and p1 will instantly light up. he'll go on for hours showing p1 different ways to knit and his favorite things to knit. he'll even teach p1 how to knit :D

-p1 is a cat person, but still likes champ

-p4 helps p1 keep his hair clean. he likes running his hands thru p1's hair once it's dry

-theyre probably the dudes who know the most abt guns, so they talk about guns together a whole lot

-similar to my p1/p3 hcs, p1 will hug p4 at random times with no explanation. p4 doesn't mind at all, in fact he'll hug p1 back :)

-p4 likes to give p1 cheek kisses :) p1 gets embarrassed by it but smiles nonetheless

-they have a VERY similar taste in music, and they'll just chill out at p4s house and listen to their fav songs together

AHHHH You're writing Degrassi fics too?! Yesssssss I recently finished a rewatch of TNG and NC and watched Junior High, High, and School's out for the first time. So I've been very much in Degrassi mode!

Degrassi is probably my most beloved, treasured show of all time. I haven't seen Next Class because I never emotionally adjusted to the jump from MTV to Netflix - I might watch it someday, especially because I heard there's a bus crash? and that sounds interesting

I started watching TNG when I was 11/12, and at the time I was watching reruns of Season 6 because the cable network I was watching it on was playing reruns of all the previous seasons in anticipation of the new one - so I watched S6, S7, S8, S9 - to me, those were 'live' cause I didn't know those were reruns at the time

and I watched S10 when it first came out and I watched all of the other seasons and their summer movies when they first came out (and I was very active in the fandom at the time. some of my most fond memories are being in the fandom during S10, S11, and S12, during the Drew, Bianca, Clare, Eli drama - especially during Claire's pregnancy lmao)

to this day, I still have very fond memories of a blog called 'incorrect Degrassi' where - on the same night an episode aired - they would take screenshots of the entire episode and write a memey version of everyone's conversations with each other. and when Claire told Drew that he wasn't the father of her baby, they captioned him saying 'well what am I supposed to do with that World's Best Dad mug that I bought, huh?' - it lives in my head rent free

it's only in recent years that I have gone back and watched the show from S1, and I have watched some of the 80s series. and because I only watched the later seasons, I knew Craig as a cokehead asshole (who was not cool enough to be friends with Pete Wentz, my fucking idol) who broke Ellie's heart, my dear Ellie. but going back and watching the show from the beginning - I fell in love with Craig

When Doves Cry is one of my favourite arcs, named after one of my favourite songs ever, and it just gets to me. And Craig's songs and his singing voice - it makes me fall more in love with him, and uuugh

Even recently, I was rewatching the episode where Liberty gives birth, and Craig is on stage singing a song with the lyrics:

And I don't know who actually wrote the song, but in universe, it is such a perfect melancholic reflection of his life, and it hurts - but it hurts in such a beautiful way.

Anyway - my fic is about abuse. Which is something I have written about before because of personal experience.

I was in my feels, deep in my feels - because like I said, I had a loss in my family, and I was feeling a weird sense of empathy toward my abuser because we share that loss, and this fic just came to mind.

Idk if I have ever talked about this before, but people have comfort characters, and I also have comfort locations? Like - the urge to write about a certain character in a certain location as comforting. And how that location can exude comfort in a fic.

And in this case, I was really drawn to Craig's garage as a comfort location. The locations in TNG all really exude comfort for me personally, but Craig's garage is a big one - it's cozy, it's worn-in, and it feels welcoming. It feels like you can go there anytime and there's no pressure.

So I wrote a fic where the reader character is fleeing from her abuser and Craig finds her hiding in the garage, and they talk a bit - and I wanted to structure it a bit like an episode of Degrassi? and have this be the first time the reader finds out about Craig's past of abuse. and Craig is like "I'm not gonna pressure you to tell anyone because I know what it's like, but you should tell someone" - but then Craig sees the abuser at a school event, and he snaps. and he starts wailing on the guy, and everyone thinks that it's Craig being irrational and violent because of his BPD

and I was also inspired by Craig's protectiveness over Manny after the flashing video came out, and I just felt comfort in that.

yeah - it's a really personal fic, but I feel like fics like this deserve to be published, because someone else might find comfort in it. and stories like this deserve to be told (I might post a snippet of it and see what people think? idk)

5. A song that is often stuck in your head: Fire Alarm by Castlecomer (ft. Welshly Arms) - I was actually listening to it today. The collab, the voices, the music, everything is so catchy and so perfect.

11. A song on the soundtrack of your favourite movie: First Step by Hans Zimmer - Before Interstellar I called a lot of other movies 'my favorite'. After watching it, I'm 101% sure no other movie would hit me as much. It really makes you question your own existence. Hans Zimmer is also my favorite movie score composer (and fav. classical composer too, I'd say)

12. The last song you heard: Las Veces Que Te Vi by Abbie - It was the last one. Really good song tho

13. A song that reminds you of a former friend: Finale by Madeon (ft. Nicholas Petricca) - Reminds of a former friend called Gabriel. Things didn't end in a sweet note (I mean it is a friendship breakup, there's no sweet note any time it ends) but he showed me a lot of cool music, including Daft Punk and Madeon. He left me with something good.

14. A song that reminds you of your boyfriend/girlfriend: JEKYLL & HIDE by Bishop Briggs (ft. White Panda) - She has showed me a lot of music, but this one is particularly good.

15. A song you love singing along to: Black And White Town by Doves - One of my favorite groups, and this song in particular is my favorite one (from my fave Doves album haha)

The first song alphabetically in your iPod/iTunes: A Cause Des Garçons (Riot in Belgium remix/Tepr remix) originally sung by Yelle. - So the actual first song is the RiB remix but instagram music doesn't have it. I used the second one which just happens to be the Tepr remix. Both appear on the playlist anyway.

20. The last song alphabetically in your iPod/iTunes: Zulu by Stephan Bodzin - Idk why numbers appear at the end after the Z, but I'll take Z as last. Stephan is an amazing musician and an inspiration to me.

21. Your favourite song: Holding On To You by twenty øne piløts - I, to be %100 honest, don't think I have a fave song, but for the effects, HOTY is my favorite song by my favorite band (well, one of my faves, because that top 1 is shared by like 5 bands)

22. A song that someone has sung to you: listen before i go by Billie Eilish - Someone that used to be my friend sung it to me at night once, it was very cool. I really liked her voice.

A song that you cannot stand to listen to: telepatía by Kali Uchis - There are a lot, actually, either it is because I don't like them musically or because the lyrics are bigoted (which I took in count to not give exposure to that type of music). This one is just one of them, I don't like the melody, I can't stand it.

24. A song that you have danced to with your best friend: Voyager by Analog Jungs - I even have a video. We were at a small festival in Atenas, Alajuela, CR. That was, tbh, one of the best days of my life. So chill, so good, so cool, and with my best friend.

basically aperture is like a crypton (the ppl who made miku) and chell is a VERY tired producer named c4ke-P. she recently adquired the apertureloids and turns our theyre sentient! and chaos ensues

GLaDOS is the aperture labs mascot (much like hatsune miku). she's very popular and is featured in a lot of songs, usually in this style

she is chell's shameless fav and makes most of her music with her, but she's challenging (mostly because she likes to crash chell's computer to inconvenience her when she's mad at her (esp. for using wheatley)

she sounds really realistic and because of this, there's a running joke that Caroline's soul is inside her (she actually is lol. also she's her voice producer)

Wheatley is also a very popular apertureloid, but more in a len/kaito way. he's hard to tune and sounds raspy, so many people say that he's "bad". though, many people think he's hot anyway, so he's popular but not for the reason intended. he's VERY insecure abt that and whenever chell is making a song, he's practically BEGGING her to feature him in it. he's her 2nd fave.

I started this sideblog cause I had too many followers on my main and I didn’t want my stuff to be seen by that many people at first, so whatever I did probably isn’t what you’re looking for :( but really there isn’t much to it, just post whatever you like to draw, tag it as best as you can (but remember that only the first five tags appear in the search page) and be patient, since whatever you do at first you won’t get much attention anyway - the only real advice I can give is to draw something that makes you happy and that you’d draw anyway even if no one were to see it, it’ll make keep posting despite a possible lack of activity a lot easier!

He doesn’t like bothersome things, he isn’t very good at taking anything seriously or putting effort in stuff, but he’s very chill to spend time with and generally a nice chat both if you want mindless thoughts or deep conversations (he’s a philosophy major after all). He can’t sing for shit, he’s got two cats (tago and schelly!), and he just wants a quiet life to laze around but all his friends are hurricanes in human bodies, but then again, he picked them himself so he can’t complain. SUCH a good question omg. love this. one thing about me is i AM an easy laugh so like. there are so many but rn i think theres a couple that come to mind....funny girl genuinely makes me giggle. when barbra streisand comes down the stairs and shes got that pillow under her shirt...i am the beautiful reflection of my love's affection.......iykyk. truly hysterical. clueless and legally blonde, also great classic laughs produced. i remember watching licorice pizza recently and that genuinely had me in bits at points, so many good moments. loved the bradley cooper scenes obv lol...

otherwise bridget jones's diary and the proposal both never fail to make me laugh HAHHA i genuinely believe renee zellweger's british accent could just make me laugh forever (not even bc it's bad! it's good! it's just everything she says in it is funny!), and the scene in the proposal where sandra bullock starts chanting get low is literally peak cinema. OH OH and the incredibles 2. sorry but when jack jack gets his powers it was over for everyone else i genuinewly think that sequence w the raccoon is incredible....anyway well. turns out a lot of movies make me laugh lol

disclaimer: i didn’t do any further research on this, just took everything i already gathered on them. so i’m assuming you asked for them bc their discography is all over the place? and i’m probably just repeating things parrot-fashion bc i feel like it’s common knowledge that they sold out and are just jumping on the trend-train nowadays and adam levine’s ego is larger than the everest? but anyway, here are some more thoughts i have on them:

they had so much potential as a band and i hate that they made it into adam levine’s personal show

they are masters of having features who have the most irrelevant lines & are probably just there for the clicks

i despise sugar with a burning passion, and i rarely have hard feelings on annoying songs from the charts

adam’s voice can get so annoying. like yes, he can sing and hit high notes and i like his voice on some songs, but it’s getting on my nerves after some time

i shiver upon hearing some lyrics & they make me uncomfortable. he’s not only hella self centered, toxic, dishonest and narcissistic judging by them, but also calls women his little girl and honestly, no thanks - creeping me out

that said, i usually don’t care about their lyrics at all and only listen for the vibe (the exception is songs about jane)

are they even writing their own lyrics at this point? *skimming the list of co-writers on more recent albums*

fun fact: every time a band puts out a record that feels unoriginal and people-pleasing, i joke with friends about how they might become the next moron 5 (and pray that they don’t)

and now to summarize their albums bc why not:

songs about jane: yes, genuinely like it

it won’t be soon before long: good, but not really my thing

hands all over: i only know misery & moves like jagger and i don’t mind them but don’t listen to them

Favorite Thanksgiving Episodes

Hey I love BB holiday episodes so here is another random list of my fav thanksgiving episodes! My top three change order every few hours. Some of my fav episodes of all time are thanksgiving episodes.

From bottom to top.

9: Now we're not cooking with gas

This episode is last on my list because it is just too stressful for me to watch. I watch BB's to unwind and i just want things to work out for the belcher's. Even though the turkey was good in the end. it's just too much for me to handle.

8: Gayle makin' bob sled

I also don't like this episode. I like Gayle for the most part but she was so frustrating this time. As with no. 9 on the list, this episode stresses me out which makes me not like it. I also hate when Mr. Business escapes that's my biggest fear with my cat. Also This episode is not super thanksgivingish ya know. I forgot it was a thanksgiving episode until I looked it up for this list.

7: Diarrhea of a poopy kid

I like this episode but there are some things that keep it toward the bottom of the list. For example I don't love the stories in this episode. I usually enjoy the three story format of BB episodes but these ones were just eh for me. I also don't like how recently the writers have been intensifying the dependent relationship between Gene and Linda. I feel like in earlier episodes, they've shown how close they are but i feel like recently it's been weirder. Idk if i'm explaining this right. I do like the whole premise of the episode and I liked all the cool food Bob cooks this time. It sounds really good. I also like Bob and Gene's dynamic in this episode.

6: I bob your pardon

I really don’t have any cons for this episode I thought it was cute, but I like the others on the list more. Actually this switches places with the no. 5 all the time, but for now I’ll leave it at no.6. I love the premise of this episode. It was very fun. Bob is so cute in the berry bog I love when he gets a win. I also like the return of the two-butted goat.

5: Thanks hoarding

As mentioned before, this episodes switches places on my list a lot, But as of now it's No.5. A few cons is just that Linda is a bit pushy in forcing teddy into something he is uncomfortable to do. It's not like a bad thing in terms of story structure but it is not that enjoyable to watch. I also didn't love the ending song. I love BB musical numbers, end credits, background music, but this wasn't my favorite. Things i do like! bob and his cooking and his enthusiasm for spatchcocking. I also love teddy in episodes and I’m glad he got to spend some time with the Belchers.

4: Indecent thanksgiving proposal

As the first thanksgiving episode it has a special place in my heart. I love Linda’s thanksgiving song, love the premise, the my neighbor totoro reference, Lance. Just an overall fun classic Bob’s episode.

3: Turkey in a can

The last three on my list are basically tied they are so close in rank they switch orders all the time. This is one of my all time favorite BB episodes. Bi Bob that's the main reason i love this. I love the Deli guy interactions! I think it's No.3 rn because i wish we got a full acknowledgement. It's def not subtext but this was in season 4 and we are on season 11. I just want them to say bisexual ya know. anyway i love Gene's song and Bob freaking out over tina growing up is very cute and touching.

2: Dawn of the Peck

Great Thanksgiving vibes. The Donna Summer song is amazing it fits so well and I love Bob's dancing. I love when regular size rudy is in episodes and i love how he is embraced by the Belcher's so cute. Also Bob's dramatic monologue when he sees turkey baster is the best. Just an overall amazing episode! Ok this has nothing to do with it's ranking but one of the reasons i always thought the Pesto's live above their restaurant is this episode. When they drop Andy and Ollie off they go back to the restaurant! I guess maybe Jimmy Pesto's is open but i feel like there are other instances where it seems that they live above their restaurant. oh also this ep has a great end credits scene. Love Donna Summers.

1: The Quirk-ducers

amazing musical number, great thanksgiving vibes, and grandpa potato. the song is so catchy i sing it all the time. I love Tina's erotic friend fiction and i think it's so funny how Louise reads it aloud to the family. I like how tina works through her insecurity with her writing. I also like when Tina has nice moments with J ju even though i prefer zeke. My absolute favorite part about this episode is the reprise of the songs put all together in higher quality at the end of the episode. It's just such a good song! “We’re going to dinner!”
