Finished the outline for Act 1 of that speculative character study of a certain bitchy vampire and started chipping away at a first draft.
I'm liking the POV so far. We'll see if I can keep liking it enough to do a whole ass thing with it.

whenever the brain fog clears a little, i find that there's genuine comfort in the smallest things. just focus on inhaling it all for a moment – the squirrel climbing the tree in front of my window. a couple in the bus, falling in love. a group of friends, teasing each other. and the scent of tea and of rain and chocolate. perceiving a smile when you compliment someone or feeling the warmth when they praise you. the way there's so much food to try! and people to draw inspiration from. the ocean, the clouds, the stars.
i don't know. life is so grey sometimes, but they say the world is beautiful, and oftentimes, i believe them.

trying to give myself credit for managing the little things so:
-washed the dishes, made the bed, packed up my art supplies for the move
-made myself lunch even though I really didn't want to
-regular work stuff

also if you're curious to know why this url, here you go:
miếng: a piece. viet*namese has multiple classifiers so if you wanted to refer to a piece of something, you would say, for example, 'a piece of cake' or 'miếng bánh ngọt'. the item in question will change what classifier is used, so 'a dog' would be 'con chó' and 'a banana' would be 'trái chuối'. his wife (is) was viet*namese so he's conversational in the language.
sol: pretty self explanatory, but it means sun and it's the name of calum's child so...
miếngsol: a piece of the sun

ROCKSTAR ♡ dude. That's so cute I might cry. I'd never delete the contract either man.
hurts even more when you remember sugar deleted the contact. she specifically reentered his number at some point to her phone post ‘breakup’, and still used that original endearing contact name.
