A flash of blond hair in the grocery line or a British accent just the specific tone of condescending walking past him. A sweet voice waking him up, a kiss lingering on his cheek.  There’s always someone insisting to be remembered.  But of all of the spectres of Mark’s life, there’s one that he wishes would haunt him.

Felix had expected this tour to be far shorter, given that this farmhouse could probably have fit inside Saltburn ten times over with room to spare, but Felix had underestimated their host. When Felix guided people through Saltburn's halls and galleries, he stuck to a tried'n'tested script. Point out an antique here, a painting there… It was just the way such things ought to be done, although Bob clearly hadn't gotten that memo. Instead Felix- and Oliver and the kids, but mostly Felix- had become a captive audience, and Bob was taking full advantage. They hadn't even gotten inside properly when he'd started talking, and it was quickly clear that Bob was more than happy to rabbit away about whatever happened to pop into his head.

PSA: I’m Okay

Hey there, Tumblr. Just posting to let y’all know that I haven’t abandoned any fics or anything. Just been dealing with irl stuff at the moment. I recently resigned from my job due difficult circumstances and have since been looking for another while dealing with the mental trauma that came from my previous place of employment. It’s been hard to do anything other than occasionally game to get my mind off of things and just…bedrotting, I guess one could call it.

I do have a part-time job, but it barely covers the bills. I may open up requests if anyone is interested.

That being said, hopefully I can get into a better place mentally and start updating fics again soon.

Chapter 10 (ItaFushi Quotes) The one where Yuji is obsessed with Megumi's tongue

Fic: I Know the End by 3sopogirl on Ao3 It’s a slow-burn, canon-compliant romance told from Itadori’s POV—basically, Yuji thirsting over Megumi Fushiguro while trying (and failing) to keep it subtle.

Megumi glanced at him—one of those looks he gave when something weighed on his mind but couldn’t quite make it to his lips. “Go ahead, then. What am I thinking?”

“That I’m the worst friend in the world,” Yuji said, turning back to Megumi. His eyes searched for confirmation of the thought he’d already had about himself.

“You’re painfully oblivious,” Megumi said, rubbing his tired eyes.

If they were throwing daggers at each other, then:

“Yeah? And you run away from every conversation.”

Megumi surged forward, his shoulders slumped and his steps uneven—nothing like his usual self.

Yuji hurried after him. “And there it is!“

Then, Megumi stopped. Yuji took a few more steps before realizing he was alone and turned back to find him standing still.

Their eyes met.

“I like you, Yuji,” Megumi said.

His eyes flickered between Yuji’s, as if searching for an answer to a question he hadn’t asked.Yuji’s mind knew Megumi didn’t mean it like that. But his foolish heart didn’t—and it skipped excitedly.

“I’ve never felt more alive,” Nobara said, her voice cutting through the silence. “Maybe I’ll stay here. Maybe I won’t go back.”

Megumi, who had been silent for most of the day, said, “We should come for Halloween. It’s Yuji here in Shibuya.”

Yuji froze, blinking. Had he heard that right? Beside him, Nobara looked just as baffled, her expression practically screaming, What the fuck did you just say?

“Huge,” Megumi corrected quickly, his face reddening. “I meant huge.”

When Yuji finally found the courage to glance at him, Megumi’s wide eyes were fixed on the floor. He wasn’t sure he’d ever seen Megumi look more embarrassed in his life.

Guess Megumi liked the way his name rolled off his tongue too, huh?

The walk back to the hotel was quiet, each of them lost in their own thoughts.

For Yuji, that meant fixating on Megumi’s slip of the tongue. Which, naturally, spiraled into thoughts about Megumi’s tongue itself, and… oh god, he was obsessed with it.

Stupid tongue he hadn’t even seen. Not that seeing it really mattered. He didn’t care about seeing it as much as he wanted to feel it. But where? Oh, this was a fun game. Stupid, sure, but fun. Where did Yuji want to feel Megumi’s tongue?

A flush of heat spread through him, igniting every place Megumi’s imagined tongue might touch. Embarrassment burned alongside it. Megumi better not be listening to his thoughts right now.

Readers, five minutes later: staring at their screens, gripping their emotional support Tuvok and Seven, whispering "Janeway deserves nice things"

Listen. LISTEN. I told you things were going to get intense. I warned you. But did you listen? No. Now look at you. LOOK AT JANWAY. LOOK AT LITTLE STAR. LOOK AT YOUR FEELINGS.

Tuvok didn’t hesitate. Seven didn’t flinch. The Doctor had no choice. Janeway felt it in her bones. And you? You’re along for the ride now. No escape.

But breathe because chapter 3 is lighter. More soft, more awe, more Janeway actually getting a moment of peace. Also still in editing.

Hey!! Quick question because I’ve been at work all day and haven’t been able to follow what’s going on with a03 currently. The website is working fine for me, but should I still stay off it so we’re not overloading it while they are trying to fix it? This is a terrible thing and the fact that people still do stuff like this just because something has lgbtqia+ and nsfw content makes my skin crawl
