okay so, i feel as though there’s not much you can do on your end since you’ve been reassuring him as much as possible. it’s really hard to help a fixed mindset especially when it’s not one of your own. when i say this, i don’t mean to sound like someone’s mother but maybe monitoring the things he views? if it’s that serious he could be looking at other mens’ bodies and comparing it to his own which will only make him feel worse :(

#kny crossover #genshin impact #kaedehara kazuha #shinazugawa sanemi #one day I’ll finish writing the first chapter. one day #anyways I love thinking about these two #i think platonic relationships are so fascinating #like you could definitely construe so many different friendships as romantic ships but to me these two as friends has so much potential #sanemi canonically dislikes Giyuu because he gives off a ‘better than everyone else there’ vibe that is purely unintentional #and canonically is friends with Iguro for reasons I still cannot figure out #sanemi’s so interesting because it’s not like he’s a purely chaotic character despite what his first appearance would suggest #the manga and genya’s memories clearly show that he has a lot of respect for oyakata-sama because oyakata-sama is not high and mighty and-#does in fact understand every sacrifice that goes into the battles that they fight that he must sit on the back lines for #sanemi is a very loyal person I think once someone has earned his loyalty even though he owes about showing this in very aggressive ways #I think he goes off against genya especially because genya fighting as a demon slayer goes against everything that sanemi has fought for #since they lost their happy lives sanemi has been fighting for at least one of them to still be able to live normally and he probably thinks #that Genya spat on that sentiment by becoming a demon slayer anyways #anyways I think sanemi and kazuha would have such an interesting dynamic #sanemi has the authoritative upper hand as a pillar but kazuha isn’t even a demon slayer which means sanemi’s position doesn’t do much #beyond acting as an indicator that he is one of the strongest of the corps anyways.#they’ve both lost a lot but sanemi still has someone to fight for whereas kazuha is holding onto the last embers of a corpse’s wishes #and I think them having a talk about their motivations would be very good #because I don’t think at this point that kazuha has very much reason to live beyond carrying on Tomo’s wishes #if the swords are parallels to visions I think Kazuha’s turning point will be when he receives his own nichirin sword #sorry for the long tags lmao

It is not classist that Jason, a vigilante in a *family of vigilantes*, is violent like the rest | just | because he comes from a poor family

What's (more likely) classist is writers thinking he needs to be taught right vs wrong from Bruce and co and that he consequently makes snap judgments out of some childish grudge-fueled rebellion which makes him dangerous the way a toddler holding a knife is dangerous

Spoke to someone I don’t know over the phone, 11 dead, 32 injured

#I’m all flowery on here but in real life conversation I am the driest most uncomfortably pragmatic person alive #I’ve been scolded for being so task-focused that I forgot to say hello to the secretaries in high school when I went to do a task #or for having an “attitude” with my parents (often when I was purposefully trying to appear humble with an “idk” voice)#so I’ve amended that by fake laughing at everything and keeping my customer service voice on All The Time #0/10 it works flawlessly but I’ve also made myself into a socially anxious doormat #I’ve been the one to break it to people that their friend died on more than one occasion and I always feel bad about how I do it #I usually just blurt it out because I don’t know how to lead up to it other than saying “maybe you should sit down for this”#it would be wrong if I knew and didn’t tell them #so it has to be me… you know?#I’m so disconnected from any feelings of grief (I’ve never felt bereavement in my life) that it feels wrong for it to be me #because I’m physically incapable of sharing in their pain and emotions; I literally don’t understand it #but sometimes I’ll cry reflexively if I see someone else crying even if I don’t have any actual feelings for them or their situation #I’m more disturbed by knowing of people who are alive going through pain than I am by knowing someone died #because death is natural; suffering isn’t #unless the person is a child or otherwise very young #but if they’re old and lived a fulfilling life I recognize they’ve had a fulfilling life and hope that my life #is as fulfilling as theirs was when I go #I’m not afraid of death; I’d just like to not go before I’m good and ready #When I go away I hope that I WANT to go away; you know?

you already know, i’m back with a sprite analysis! plus some more opinions

bryson uses elements of youcef, but most of it is hidden behind his arms. i actually wasn’t sure until i went into photoshop

my thoughts: FB!! leave my baby youcef alone!!

but for season 7 standards, bryson looks pretty good! (whatever the hell happened to his hands are not helping FB beat the AI art allegations tho)

those muscles don’t look as outrageous on him as it does rafael. i still think it would’ve been lovely if rafael (maybe bryson too!) had a softer/less defined body, like felix’s. so far, reused body parts in the s7 guys have only come from seasons 4 & 5. maybe for consistency…but imma be real, none of them look like they’re from the same season. why not throw some s2 in the mix? 🤷🏽‍♀️

anyways, i think his sprite is the most polished-looking even though he has the most mangled hands out of the four. to quote s6 MC, he’s ”the best of a bad bunch” lmfao (in reference to sprite quality. i don’t mean the other boys are ugly, i think all of them are cute)

The thing about Bradley and Cory is they’re both so deeply fucked up

#I feel like Bradley isn’t given enough credit for how fucked up she is #my girl had Trauma!!!! like she has been through Everything!!!!#but it’s only brought up when it’s relevant to a plot point #but I feel like that’s kinda why they work so well #like they both have rocky complicated relationships with their moms and were both abandoned by their dads as kids #only difference is Bradley’s mom almost disowned her for getting an abortion while Cory’s mom straight up said she wishes she aborted him #and both put so much effort into appearing sophisticated and put together and strong and confident and not a product of their childhoods #like no wonder they see right through each other #tms
