I don't know I'm not done talking about it. It's insane that I can't just uninstall Edge or Copilot. That websites require my phone number to sign up. That people share their contacts to find their friends on social media.

I wouldn't use an adblocker if ads were just banners on the side funding a website I enjoy using and want to support. Ads pop up invasively and fill my whole screen, I misclick and get warped away to another page just for trying to read an article or get a recipe.

Every app shouldn't be like every other app. Instagram didn't need reels and a shop. TikTok doesn't need a store. Instagram doesn't need to be connected to Facebook. I don't want my apps to do everything, I want a hub for a specific thing, and I'll go to that place accordingly.

I love discord, but so much information gets lost to it. I don't want to join to view things. I want to lurk on forums. I want to be a user who can log in and join a conversation by replying to a thread, even if that conversation was two days ago. I know discord has threads, it's not the same. Infinite Painter (Android) - This is my default. I did exclusively traditional mediums for a long, long time, and this app feels the most like using the "real thing". It has vectors, filters, and a robust editing menu. It autosaves. New files open with a menu of commonly used dimensions/dpis so you don't have to memorize them. It has an extensive online manual that teaches you how to use everything. It can export to just about anything - it'll even save all your layers as transparent PNGs if you don't see the filetype you need. (Cons: the larger your canvas, the more likely it is to glitch, and the fewer layers it can comfortably support.) It's cheap, and a one-time purchase.

Medibang Paint Pro (Android/Mac/PC) - This is where I make comics. It has built in tools for manga: frames, fonts, screentones. It autosaves temporary backups. It has online storage so you can bounce back and forth between editing on your tablet or your computer, and group access for multi-person projects. It has a basic online tutorial, regular user-written tutorial articles, an active online community, and sponsored contests with cash prizes. (Cons: It doesn't have a basic rotate tool, or many editing/filter options.) It's cheap, and while I did a one-time purchase, I think they've either switched to or offer an optional subscription model.

That's... about it, really. For me everything else is pencil and paper. Or epoxy putty and model paint... Once or twice a year I break out the watercolors. Dungeon Crawling

"I'm so bored!" Princess Cereza complained. Mouse watched their sweetheart lay down next to them in a huff.

"I'm sorry, young princess, but you heard Stitches." Wo Chien said patiently. "You and Mouse are the sole heirs to your respective thrones. Sending you two out into a war could lead to your demise."

"But Mouse and I have been training for a battle like this." The Zorua huffed. "We're both capable of fending for ourselves in battle."

"Princess, we understand you're frustrated, but your parents asked Mouse's father to keep you both safe." Oki said. "You two are staying here until the battle is over."

"It's gonna take a at least week for Stitches to come back." Elizabeth sighed. "Best to wait it out."

Mouse's ears perked up as they got an idea! "Let’s go to a Mystery Dungeon!" They signed.

"Mystery Dungeon...?" Cereza repeated. "That's a perfect idea!" She gets up, wagging her tail. "Mr. Wo, is it alright if we go to a Mystery Dungeon tomorrow?"

The mossy snail thought for a moment, and then he nodded. "As long as you two make it back alright, and before sunset."

The two children cheered! Just then, Chester put a hand on Wo Chien. "I would like to accompany 'em." The Gholdengo requested. "Their ventures 'n Mystery Dungeons 'ave always peeked my interest."

"I'm going too, just to provide backup." Oki pet Wo's back. "And make sure Ches comes back in one piece."

"C-can I c-come too?" Spot asked. "I-it sounds fun."

Wo cuddles the Okidogi and Malimar softly. "Just as long as you three come back with a story of your adventure."

The next day, Mouse and Cereza, in his Grey disguise, looked at their tool bag, making sure they've packed.

"A few Seeds: Reviver, Blast, Sleep, and Stun. Some Orbs: Rollcall in case we get separated, and an Escape Orb." Grey listed. "And some throwing items, sticks, and rocks."

"What about some apples, in case we get hungry?" Mouse signed.

Oki walked up to the kids with Spot and Chester. The two quickly turn around when they spot shadows over them.

"Oh, good morning! Are you guys ready to go?" Grey waved.

"We are, I'm assuming you two have an idea of where we're going?" Oki replied.

"Yes, we're going to the Storm Sea! Chief Typhoon and his wife would probably appreciate the backup for-"

Just then, Mouse tapped on Grey's shoulder and showed him a letter that was dropped in front of them. Curiously, Grey opened the letter and read it with his sweetheart. A serious look appeared on his face as he read further.

"Change of plans! A Nedoqueen got separated from her child in Inferno Cave!" Grey alerted. "We have to go, now!" Grey pulled up his Entercard, placing a square on the ground. The tiny Eevee placed another card right next to the Zorua's card. Suddenly, a portal appears on the ground! Mouse puts the tool bag securely over their shoulder.

"This Magnagate will lead us straight to Inferno Cave!" Elizabeth explained.

The trio couldn't believe what they were seeing... They are about to enter a Mystery Dungeon!

"Do we just... jump in?" Chester asked.

"Easy as that!" Grey nodded, hiding his face with his mask.

With a deep breath, Chester jumped in.

Oki held out his paw to Spot, who was visibly nervous. "Will it be easier if I held your fin?"

The Malamar looked at Oki's paw, and back to him, nodding yes. She held on as she and the Okidogi got inside.

The two young royals look around to make sure that no one else is following them, then jumped in themselves.

After the kids jumped out of the Magnagate, it shut, allowing the kids to pick up the cards and put them away. Approaching the entrance to Inferno Cave, the group spotted a wounded Nidoqueen leaning next to the mouth of the volcanic cave.

Mouse ran up to the Nedoqueen. They rummaged around in the tool bag and found an Oran Berry, and gave it to the wounded Drill Pokémon. Weakly, she took the berry and at it, and she could feel her aching muscles ease.

"Thank you, little one." She sighs with relief. "And you are...?"

"We're Team Underhero. And are you Ruby?" Grey asked.

"Yes! You're here to rescue my daughter, Bea?" Ruby asked with wide and hopeful eyes.

"Y-yes." Spot nodded. "Wh-what does sh-she l-look like?"

"She's a shiny blue Nidoran." The Nidoqueen replied.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but... Ain't the shinin' males the shiny blue ones?" Chester asked.

"She was born male, but later on, we both discovered she was a girl." Ruby explained. "She means so much to me!"

"Oh, that makes sense." Chester nodded. "Don't worry ma'am, we'll get your little girl back safe and sound!"

"Do you remember where you last saw her?" Elizabeth asked.

"Last time I saw her was near the midpoint up the volcano." Ruby huffed. "An Aggron used Earthquake on us, separating us. I just hoped she isn't too badly injured."

As Grey shifted forms using his Illusion ability. "Now we know where we're going, let's go rescue that Nidoran!"

The group walked down the damp halls of the cavern. Spot nervously looked around while Chester and Oki eyes the halls, making sure no one gets the jump on them. Mouse and Grey were in the lead, with Grey taking the lead.

"We've heard this place is guarded by an Entei." Grey noted.

"If that's true, let's 'ope we don't meet 'em." Chester murmured. The Gholdengo was fascinated by warm walls, and the magma oozing here and there.

"I th-thought you would." Spot said.

"I would like to meet 'n Entei, but not in a combative or territorial state." The Gholdengo explained.

"Thankfully for us, we won't be meeting them, since the Nedoqueen said her daughter was around the middle of the volcano." Elizabeth said.

"Be careful though, Mystery Dungeons tend to change." Grey warned.

"And wild 'ns still call these places home despite all that." Chester noted.

"Th-that must take a l-lot of bravery." Spot said.

"More than bravery." Oki said. "These Pokémon were born and adapted to this."

"There are safe zones, or spots that very rarely shift, were tired Pokémon rest." Elizabeth added.

"Well, what do we have here?" A masculine voice asked. A Magmar huffed smoke out of his mouth.

"Looks like a couple of punching bags have entered our volcano." A Rapidash replied, walking beside the Fire Spit Pokémon.

"Territorial wilds coming to test their strength on us." Elizabeth groaned. "Awesome..."

"Hey there, handsome." An Aggron flirted with Oki. "How about you and me go on a little private sparing session?" His claws extended and sharpened to a point, and he swiped at Oki's face, nicking his cheek a little as the muscular dog tried to dodge (Aggron used Metal Claw).

"Well, as nice of an offer that is, I must decline. Because unfortunately for you... I'm married!" Oki growled as he thrusted with two open palms (Oki used Force Palm). The Aggron was roughly thrown backwards and tumbles on the ground. (A critical hit! Super Effective!)

The Magmar inhaled greatly, and breathed out a huge flame aimed at Chester (Magmar used Fire Blast!), who thankfully dodged the blast (But it missed).

"Quite the pipes on ya, lad." Chester smiled. "How am I going to win this fight." The Gholdengo tapped his chin, as he thought, a sinister smile spread across his face (Chester used Nasty Plot).

The Rapidash gained speed as fire started swilling around her (Rapidash used Flame Wheel). The attack slammed right into Mouse, making them tumble on the ground. They painfully got up, with a painful burn (Mouse was burned).

Seeing Mouse's burn, Chester switched his focus to the Rapidash. He summoned an orb of pure darkness and launched it at the fiery horse (Chester used Shadow Ball).

While the battle went on, Spot heard whimpering and sniffling, and she looked around. Following the sounds, she sees a shining blue Nedoran.

"Um... He-hello...?" Spot said with her gentle voice. The Nedoran backed away frightfully, curling up into a tight ball. "Are you, Bea?" The frightened Nidoran quickly nodded yes. "Your mom, Ruby, is waiting for you outside the dungeon."

"Mommy's waiting for me...?" Bea perked up.

"Y-yes, a-and if you come with us, we can b-bring you out of the dungeon safely." Spot nodded.

Bea slowly crawled up to the Malamar. "G-guys. I f-found the k-kid!" Spot said as loud as she could.

(Aggron used Iron Tail.) Grey was thrown into Spot, making Bea jump back a bit. (Grey's Illusion faded.) "Ow..." The Zorua groaned. "Hey, kid... Great job finding her, Spot... Ow..."

"Th-thanks..." Spot smiled. "W... what do we do now?"

"Now? We leave. We found missing kid, our job is done." Grey grabs his badge, and holds it up high. "Mouse your badge!"

"Huh...?" Mouse dizzily mumbled. Oh! The badge! Mouse also held their badge aloft. Suddenly, a light source engulfed the group, including the Nidoran.

"Aww, leaving so soon?" The Magmar teased.

"Fraid so." Chester huffed tiredly. And the group disappeared into the wind.

Team Underhero were teleported right in front of the still worried mother. Ruby's eyes widened when she saw Spot holding Bea.

"Bea! My baby!" Ruby cried out, running up to retrieve her child.

"Mommy!" Bea cried back.

The Nidoqueen scooped her daughter up and hugged her tight. "I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to protect you! I'm just glad your safe..."

"You 'ere strong 'nuff, lass." Chester reassured her. "I'm just glad we came 's soon 's we could."

"Before you go, I need to give you your reward." Ruby said.

"N-no payment necessary, ma'am." Oki scratched the back of his neck.

"Nonsense, I insist." Ruby said. turning to the young duo. "For saving my dear daughter." Mouse and Grey were given a Heal Ribbon, Defend Scarf, and a Weather Band, along with 650 poke. "Now, we will be taking the long way home. Good-bye, Team Underhero."

Bea sat on her mother's shoulder, and she waved to the group. "Buh-bye! Thank you for rescuing me!" The group waved and said their good-byes to the duo.

"Time to go home." Elizabeth happily sighed. Tail wagging to the sound of going home, Mouse dropped their Entercard along with Grey, opening up a Magnagate. The group hops in and return to the Grasswither Shrine.

When Mouse got to Wo-Chien, they collapsed in front of him. He was worried, until the kid let out a big sigh and nuzzled into the mossy snail.

Oki walked up to his husband and kissed his cheek. "I'll tell you what happened at dinner."

Oki, Chester, and Spot relayed the Mystery Dungeon adventure to Wo.

"My, that did sound exciting. I'm happy that the little Nidoran and her mother were reunited." Wo purred.

Mouse gently patted Chester's arm, and offered them the Weather Band that was included in the reward. "F...for helping us..." The tiny Eevee mumbled.

"It'll treat any weather condition as if it's always been clear." Elizabeth explained.

Later that night, Stitches quietly walked in the shrine, and saw Mouse and Cereza sleeping next to each other.

"They had an eventful day yesterday." Wo-Chien said in a tired voice. "They took my family on a Mystery Dungeon expedition. I'm assuming the battle's over?" The Baneumbreon nodded.

"I'll let them sleep." Stitches whispered. "But tomorrow, after breakfast, I'm taking them back home." Wo quietly nodded and laid back down, closing his eye.

"By the way, on behalf of my husband, and Cereza's parents, thank you for watching these two." The Banumbreon said as he laid down close to the duo.

Wo happily sighed. "You're welcome, Stitches."

And the shrine was in peaceful silence for the rest of the night.

Firstly, the simple migration tools. There are multiple services that allow you to do that, depending on the target platform. Here's the ones for Apple Music and Youtube Music. Deezer have their built-in tools.

I don't know many streaming services, but I would recommend using Youtube Music : with the help of Newpipe or alternatives, you can listen to your playlist with no ads for free :) And you can mix in youtube videos in your playlists - very cool when a specific version of a track isn't on streaming services ! Plus Newpipe has a very handy download tool

Secondly, I wanna talk about downloading. Having your own library with the files accessible anytime are a must, to my sense. It will greatly improve your battery life and reduce your mobile data usage. And you can keep them your whole life !! Make mixtapes on CDs for your friends !!! And- ok let's get to the point

From other services

The go-to tool for downloading music and videos is yt-dlp. It's the base of most DL tool out there ! The vanilla version is a command-line tool, but there's a few apps with an interface. If you're on PC, I like to use Parabolic for that. I *think* LibreTube has batch download ? NewPipe only has single download. Seal does it but is a bit clunky.

From Spotify

Spotify is infamous for being very good at protecting its files against download. They make breaking changes regularly, making it hard to find reliable, durable tools. Usually, the solution is to hack into the official Spotify app, and get the data from there. On PC, you can use OnTheSpot to hook into the official app. You can also mod the official app with Soggfy (windows only). I wasn't able to find any working Android app as of April 2025. Seal used to do it but not anymore, and popular options are discontinued or getting sketchy.

Hi! I don't have a guide at the ready but I can show you how I do it ↓

I don't use WSOs. I assume they do make things quicker and less labor-intensive but I've spent too much time fixing up lumpy meshes and fat morphs to have a good opinion of WSOs (though of course I know you can always use a WSO and make changes manually afterwards, but evidently not everybody bothers). I assume the body type chooser and auto conversions that you mentioned have something to do with WSOs? I have no idea about that, sorry. I do everything manually and although it takes time, it's really simple.

Open Milkshape or your 3D software of choice (I assume you're familiar already).

Import a nude mesh of the body shape you want to convert to, with morphs.

(Let's use a full-body Melodie9 fat AF mesh as an example.)

I have all the nude meshes' GMDCs that I need in a folder, they're basically the meshes that I use either for swimwear & underwear in the case of full-body, or the ones I use for showerproof skins in the case of separates. I can't direct you to a nude mesh when it comes to Consort's fat male as I've never worked with it but I'd wager you know of some underwear or swimwear that's been made for it, you can use that.

3. Ctrl+A, ctrl+H to hide everything.

4. Import the mesh of the clothing you want to convert, without the morphs. It goes without saying that that mesh should be as perfect as can be (test it in game on a moving sim to make sure bone assignment is good all around, fix it before you start converting).

5. You can now start working on the normal morph. Unhide the normal morph of the mesh you're using as reference.

And get going, section by section.

You'll be using the Scale and Move tools a lot. If you're gender-converting, don't forget to merge the neck vertices properly (and merge normals).

Your first time will take a while if you do it well. The higher poly the mesh you're converting is, the harder it will be and the longer it will take. Save a lot along the way and make backups.

Exit and reopen to be able to see flat-shaded, it helps see flaws especially towards the end.

Look at the mesh with its textures on as well, there may be mapping tweaks to make.

6. When you're done with the normal morph, export it, put it in a mesh file, make the recolors, get in game and test it. Exit, get back in Milkshape, make the tweaks necessary, test again, until you're happy.

7. Make the morphs: duplicate your normal morph then adjust them in the same way you did with the normal morph, this time using the morphs of your reference mesh as, well, reference. Don't forget to fix the comments.

8. Test the mesh with morphs in game. Exit, back to Milkshape, fix what needs to be fixed, retest, until you're perfectly happy and you can take the best preview pictures for your downloaders 😌 (If you intend to share that is.)

And that's pretty much it. Hopefully you already know how to make a mesh file, how to make recolor files, how to properly categorize, compressorize, tooltip and BSOK files, all that good stuff that isn't strictly "converting to another body shape".

It's just the way I do things and may not be best for everyone but I hope it helps get you started at least. Good luck!

@transienturl "kernel_task is highest gb usage at just below 14" oh—14 gigabytes, you're saying? I would consider that a red flag if it's above about one; that's probably part of the cause. google results aren't great on what actually causes it (if it's just kernel_task memory use rather then kernel_task cpu use). first things I'd do are reboot -> when time machine isn't doing a backup, run "first aid" on your hard drive from disk utility, and run the Apple Diagnostics tool. there are low level software bits called "kernel extensions" that could misbehave and cause that but they're hard to install and you'd probably know if you did; do you have any antivirus/antimalware software and/or do you remember rebooting your mac and holding down a button in order to install a component for discord audio capture? those are basically all I can think of for that category

eugh, damnit, duly noted. but no, i haven't installed anything like that or rebooted in that way. i do, technically, have antivirus/antimalware software through a vpn (which has had p standard/unremarkable showings in the activity monitor, and hasn't changed in the last week or two).

Keimwyda found herself briefly lost for words. She stared at him. He looked back, unwavering, arms folded, leaned back in his chair with the confidence of someone who knew he was right. She had not really interrogated her own motives very deeply—and she was not sure she appreciated Thancred pressing her on it.

…But perhaps that was less about whether or not it was kind for him to do so, than about her own discomfort that he may be onto something.

She wrung a hand behind her neck as she thought. “I know it isn’t ‘my job’, so to speak. But I do care about them. I want to help them. I like helping them.”

“And that is very noble of you, I’m sure. Just… make sure you are taking a moment to rest, now and then, aye? Do not take up burdens from others that are not yours to bear.”

She decided she’d have to think about it some more. “I hear you. And thank you. But I must be going—they’re waiting for me.”

“As you will, then,” he answered, relenting. “I just urge you not to stretch yourself too thin. Be sure you are taking some time to relax. Go spend it with that blue knight of yours.”

She blushed. “I’ll have you know we do, in fact, have plans for later this evening”

A wicked smirk flickered on his face. “More than I needed to know.”

“NOT LIKE THAT,” she gasped.

“Oh. What a pity.”

He was smiling widely now, with that same self-satisfied grin he got whenever he pulled a good prank against her. Her mortification melted to disbelief, then to a wry desire for revenge that he was uniquely and exceptionally skilled at extracting from her. She jokingly stormed up to his table, then stole the toast off of his plate, before seeing herself out of the door and on her way.

She would have a good, long think on his words though. She suspected he had a point.

In today's ever-changing technological landscape, staying current on the latest trends is critical for both individuals and businesses. These patterns influence how we communicate, connect, and complete tasks in both our personal and professional lives. I want to formally write up my digital note-taking system as someone with autism and ADHD at some point, complete with screenshots. I've always been trying to reduce it and simplify it but I've accepted that it's always going to be difficult for other people to implement because I'm obsessed with organization and have been refining the system over years.

I've been reading Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte and have loosely adapted the PARA concept (Projects, Areas, Resource, Archives). I think it's brilliant to make notes more actionable. I want to organize such that it's easier to access notes most useful to me, and less-relevant-and-immediately-actionable notes like resources and finished projects are kept but neatly put away for later use and not cluttering up the space.

Basically, most of my personal and reference notes are in Notion. There I keep a list of things like my goals, my spending, my project planning, and reference materials I've collected over the years related to things like health, career development, recipes, etc.

However, Notion is a clunky experience on mobile. There is also no offline support - well, not proper offline support, anyway. That's because it's fundamentally a web application.

For quick notes I take on the go, reminders, and shopping lists, I use Google Keep. I can't understate how I haven't found a better app for this. Imagine a dynamic sticky notes board that syncs across devices and is easy to add and remove from. I can send notes to myself in the future in less than a minute and it basically runs my life. Every so often, I copy down important notes from Google Keep into Notion. I think basically everyone should use Google Keep, but especially for people with ADHD. Often we think of things in the moment, but they aren't relevant. I always jot down something I remember and send a reminder to myself when I can take action with it.

Finally, as much as I think Notion is great for note-taking, I actually use Obsidian for any deeper knowledge databases. I'm going to experiment and use Obsidian as my main school notes hub when I go back to school. I have a personal Obsidian wiki for programming. Obsidian is essentially offline Notion with less emphasis on databases. The linking between pages and seeing a map of how concepts are related to one another is extremely powerful.

And although I don't use it as often, I really like Notability on my iPad with an Apple Pencil. I use it for making digitized diagrams and as a study tool. The act of writing over typing codifies things in my memory.

I used to use Microsoft OneNote a lot. I miss when it was free. I appreciated how flexible it was. I used a tablet to write directly on the pages. However, I found that I hated formatting in it over time, and I preferred using Markdown as it's more universal. (Even my resume is written in LaTeX. I used to code every assignment in HTML/CSS because I wanted perfect formatting.) Overall, OneNote was clunky and difficult to keep consistently formatted.

On top of my digital system, I have a physical bullet journal and whiteboards. I think having multiple spaces that remind of of my tasks and ideas and to jot them down, and then moving them around helps me remember them. I could streamline the process a bit, but I really don't like compromising physical note-taking. I'm a firm believer in physical and non-cloud backups of information. I don't want to put all of my eggs in one basket and rely on Internet infrastructure. I also want to feel grounded. There are some hybrid digital/physical notebooks I might look into to keep the process simple, but I've been working with this system fine.
