There’s a dying part of him that wants to smirk back at her, naught but a frail bud of flame in a chipped lantern. If it’s just Gerry, he can’t tell. Pharos can’t feel him anymore. Any of them, really. They must have taken him rather seriously when he first told them to stay inside. This is for him to see through to the End. “Let’s get moving,” he says. “It’s a long way up.”

Jon says a little eagerly, "Like the, the Lukases? Or the Fairchilds?" Gerry corrects, "Well, Fairchild’s just a name, they’re not really family." Then he does a finger gun and says, "The Lukases, though, yeah."

He turns away, pensive and frowning, and says, "Thing is, it’s harder than it looks. What’s out there… doesn’t care about blood." Jon, grinning a little, says, "Well, I-I mean, except for the vampires…" Gerry scowls, "Yeah, obviously except for the vampires." Jon looks abashed, and Gerry looks down sorrowfully to say, "But they care about your choices, your fears, not your parents." End VD]

I want to post abt my archivist!gerry au but I don't know how to put it into words normally..

I just have a concept in my head and then it's like 5 different ideas of outcomes like "oh what if it's a jongerrymartin somewhere else au" or "gerry + the archival crew au" or "just write an archivist gerry like a normal person for gds sake"

I also have a BUNCH of headcanons about him already but they sound boring without context т-т

This happens the day before the end of s3. Things were much calmer than in The canon. Everyone decided to go very early to rest after preparing everything.

Sasha checked one last time to be sure before returning to Tim's apartment, thinking she was the last one left in in the archives...
