TITLE: Until Darkness Descends
CHAPTER: 46/47
FANDOM: Final Fantasy XV
RATING: Explicit
MAIN PAIR: Ardyn Izunia x Reader
SEC PAIR: Gladiolus Amicitia x Reader
SERIES: The Fall Part 1 of 4
It was like the gates of heaven opened up and you heard the angels sing. You wondered if this was how true awe felt like as you gazed upon the walls of water that surrounded you and your friends on all sides. The city state of Altissa was like something out of a fairy tale, with light blue and ivory buildings, clear canals in place of hard concrete roads, and the scent of baked bread following you wherever you went. But your awe was short lived. As much as you wanted to enjoy being in a foreign land, you couldn't escape the yoke of guilt that had your heart in a chokehold.
You promised yourself that you would reveal everything to Gladiolus once you reached Altissa during the boat ride. But now that you were here, you felt like a chicken who just got its head choked off, your anxiety reaching its limit. You breathed around the panic-induced noose around your throat, your anxiety retreating but never truly leaving.
The thought to postpone the conversation with Gladiolus tickled the back of your skull. It wouldn’t be bad to give it another day, right? The five of you weren't even in Altissa for more than fifteen minutes, and with the mission looming over your heads, it would probably be a good idea to keep your lips sealed until after Noctis gained Leviathan's blessing. You nodded to yourself, making another silent oath you swore this time not to break. Gladiolus didn't deserve to have the weight of your infidelity on his shoulders while he tried to evacuate the city. This was for his benefit and not yours.
Feeling a little looser, but not at all completely relaxed, you traversed the pristine sidewalk of the fairy tale city. Your group's first destination was the first secretary of Accordo’s office, madam Camellia Claustra. Without her enthusiastic support, there was no way Noctis and Lunafreya would be able to commune with the water goddess. The fate of the mission rested upon her decision and whether or not the prince could successfully sway her to their side.
You welcomed the pressure of the mission like a welcoming embrace, hoping it would replace the shadow of your transgressions that haunted every corner of your mind. You would've been successful if Gladiolus hadn't suddenly pulled away from the group, saying he had an errand to run and would meet up with everyone at the hotel they pre booked in advance.
Anxiety punched you in the gut, causing the impact to reverberate through your muscles. Gladiolus hadn't mentioned having to run an errand during the boat ride. He only just recently revealed his reason for parting from the group before. And this time couldn't have been for training purposes. What if he sensed your betrayal? What if he finally put your long silences and distance together and came to the inevitable conclusion? Terror clawed up your throat, making your esophagus burn like it had just been scratched from the inside. You weren't ready for him to find out yet.
The rest of your group moved on without him, meanwhile you were silently falling apart behind them. Your anxiety hadn't quelled even once you arrived at the secretary’s office. You paced the polished maple wood floors, dread riding on your back, causing a restless energy to zing through your limbs like a ball flying off the walls.
Noctis had disappeared into the secretary's office while you and your friends waited in the adjoined sitting room. The only sound in the air was your pacing footsteps. There was no concealing your nervousness. It was palpable, almost tangible in its intensity, as though you could touch it and grab it. Your ceaseless pacing seemed to catch your friends' attention since Prompto asked, “you okay?”
Nerves leaped off your shoulders as you looked at him, as though you forgot you were with company. Your throat refused to comply when you tried to swallow, your tongue as dry as the lands you hailed from. “Y-yeah.” You stuttered. “Just a little nervous.”
“Don't be, Noct's got this!” He flashed you one of his cheerful smiles. You gave him a weak one in response, one that was weighed down by the chaos you hid behind it.
“He may not look as such, but Noct is well versed in the game of politics, such was his education from birth.” Your adopted brother added from his position against the wall. “Have faith in our prince, he'll see this through.”
You nodded your head, wringing your hands as you did. Their encouraging words did nothing to soothe your frayed nerves. They were completely in the dark, ignorant to what was truly occupying your every thought. You stopped your pacing to look at them, a bottomless sadness made your chest feel empty. You wondered how they would react once it all came out. Once they found out about your infidelity.
They would surely hate you. You would lose your boyfriend and your friends all in a single day. The inevitability of it all made you want to crumble to your knees and wail for all of Altissa to hear. In the back of your mind, you heard dream Ardyn’s words of warning, his foretelling of events to come. Your arms froze over with goosebumps as you remembered. ‘Even if you don’t, who is to say your friendships won’t suffer as a consequence?  Do you really think they would keep you in their little boy’s club if you become an inconvenience?’
You bit the inside of your bottom lip, he was right. Everything he said in your dream was true. Despite being friends with the boys for years you still didn’t enjoy the same bond they had with each other. They would choose Gladiolus.Your eyes misted with tears and you rubbed them to keep your tears at bay. Who knew the riff in your friendship would be caused by your own hands, not your overestimated incompetence in battle, or uselessness after three or four heals, but a choice that was completely avoidable.
Just like what your dream foretold, your friendship would suffer as a consequence and you would no longer be a welcomed guest in their club. Fifteen minutes of dreadful silence passed when Noctis returned to the waiting room, a triumphant smile on his face that let you know he succeeded in his task. Your smile was weak as your friends celebrated, with pats on Noctis’ shoulder and words of praise.
Out of the three of them Noctis would be the least forgiving. The two of you weren’t necessarily close, at least in comparison to you and Prompto or even your adopted brother. You considered Noctis a friend and you were sure he considered you one as well. But your connection was flimsy in comparison to the familial bond he had with Gladiolus. He would surely be the first to discard you and not look back. A putrid taste singed the back of your throat at the thought of being the subject of his contempt. The thought of his deep blue eyes cut you before it could even happen.
After going over some of the plan, you and the boys journeyed over to the hotel. It was much more opulent than the Leville in Lestallum, with a ghostly white exterior, high archways, and a collection of square and arching windows. Its reflection rippled over the crystal clear water of the canal as you entered. Geometric shapes decorated the wooden floors of the lobby where you checked in.
Riding the elevator to the third floor, you separated from the boys to go to the room you shared with Gladiolus, possibly for the last time. An unrelenting knot tightened your throat as you wondered if your boyfriend was inside, waiting to have a talk with you. Your stomach twisted with unease, the door creaking open as you entered. Much to your relief the room was deadly silent and Gladiolus was nowhere to be found.
Something scarlet red caught your attention and you looked at the bed. Sitting on top of the plush blanket was a long evening gown. It spilled over the white comforter like blood, leading your eyes to the pair of silver heels on the floor. You approached the bed, your chest tightening when you touched the dress and found it was velvety soft and silky smooth. It was no doubt expensive and definitely not a welcome gift from the hotel.
That only left Gladiolus. A pang shot through the muscles holding your chest together. The feeling worsened when you noticed a folded piece of paper on top of the dress. When you opened it and read it you felt worse than dirt. Gladiolus wanted you to put on the dress and meet him downstairs in the lobby by 7pm. You looked at the clock hanging on the wall, the hands pointing at 6 pm. That only gave you an hour to prepare.
You weren’t sure what Gladiolus had planned, but whatever it was you were sure it would only plant the knife in your chest six inches deeper. Throwing on the dress, you painted your face as best you could with the little make up you brought with you. You were on the elevator riding down to the lobby with five minutes to spare.
You spotted Gladiolus immediately once the elevator door opened. He was leaning against the wall, his broad muscled form concealed behind a black suit. His shoes were polished and shone under the fluorescent light, his hair combed smooth and flowed down his neck. The sound of your heels clacking against the floor caught his attention and he smiled the moment he met your eyes.
You squeezed your hand with the other and forced yourself not to look down at the floor. This would be the last time you would be on the receiving end of one of those smiles. The last time you would be able to appreciate his beauty, his love, his intelligence, everything you took for granted.
Once you were close enough, he handed a bouquet of roses to you. Crimson like the color of overflowing wine and white like the sight of freshly fallen snow. You accepted the flowers and gave him a smile you hoped didn't look as forced as it felt.
“Thank you.” You muttered. “What is all of this for?”
“There's a five star restaurant here”, he nodded his head towards the opulent looking door beside him. It towered over the other doors in the lobby and was fashioned in intricate carvings of gold and silver. “Thought it would be good to check it out. It's been a while since I did something like this for you. We may be here for only a short while but you deserve to experience what this city has to offer.”
Tears filled your eyes without your consent. You tried to blink them away but they overflowed down your cheeks anyway. Gladiolus stiffened. His eyes slightly widened with panic and worry. “What’s wrong?”
Everything. The fact that you cheated, that you betrayed a good man who didn’t deserve your disloyalty. The fact you would lose your place in the group before the mission was over. Instead of saying what was on your mind, you sniffled and gently wiped the tears from under your eyes. “I just…been feeling overwhelmed lately.” You said. “I just want everything to stop already.”
Circling his arms around your waist, he brought you into his warm and safe embrace. The beat of his heart played a gentle tune in your ear, his deep voice rumbled in his chest as he spoke. “This’ll all be over soon.” He promised. “ Noct will gain all of his ancestors' blessings along with the gods, he'll reclaim Lucis from the Nifs and he and Lunafreya will get married and everything will go back to normal.” He pulled away from you a bit to look down at your tear-streaked face. His lips quirked in a half smile as he delivered the finishing blow, “maybe after all of this we could get married, I wouldn't mind tying the knot in a city like this”.
Your chest shattered into a million pieces, leaving your heart beating and abandoned on the floor. Did he just propose to you? Horror froze your face in a state of shock. You didn’t know what to say. You didn’t know what to do. He essentially promised to marry you and you were planning on breaking up with him. Without knowing what else to do, you plastered a weepy smile on your face and let him kiss you. It felt like the weight of the world was crushing your shoulders, shoving you deep into the pits of the earth.

Miraculum
Summary: Prompto is eight and a half months pregnant, and he goes into labour while Ardyn and Ignis are at the Citadel. His two alphas rush home, and they help Prompto deliver their child together.
Notes: Ardyn Lucis Caelum/Ignis Scientia/Prompto Argentum, Gladiolus Amicitia/Noctis Lucis Caelum, Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics, Alpha Ardyn, Alpha Gladio, Alpha Ignis, AU, Beta Noctis, Childbirth, FTM Prompto, Labor, Mpreg, Omega Prompto, Polyamory, Pregnant Prompto, Trans Male Prompto, etc.
Note: Prompto identifies as male, but he hasn't had any top or bottom surgery because he can't afford it and the Citadel doesn't cover gender affirming care with the insurance they offer to the Crownsguard. Also, this is my first FFXV fic, so please go easy on me.
*
"We'll be back soon, I promise. This is just a standard meeting with the council." Ardyn says before he presses a kiss to Prompto's lips. Prompto clings to him, but Ardyn forces himself to break the kiss. If he doesn't leave with Ignis soon, they're going to be late.
"Please don't go." Prompto's lip quivers as tears well up in his violet-blue eyes.
"I wish I could stay Prom, I really do, but they said the meeting was important. We have to go." Ardyn says sadly.
"But what if I—" Prompto starts to say, but Ardyn places his finger over his lips.
"Shh. You're gonna be ok, I promise. The baby's not due for another two weeks." Ardyn says as he caresses Prompto's cheek.
"O-okay. I-I love you." Prompto sniffles. At eight and a half months pregnant, his emotions were all over the place, and he can't help a tear from falling down his freckled cheek.
"We should be home in an hour or two, okay? I love you sunflower." Ignis walks over and gives Prompto a kiss.
"I love you too." Prompto says softly. He cries as Ardyn and Ignis leave, the house now feeling empty without his husbands.
*
Prompto groans as he gets up from the couch to grab something to eat, and he waddles down the hallway that leads to the kitchen. He's a little out of breath when he reaches the kitchen island, and he breathes deeply as he rubs his pregnant belly with one hand. He rests his other hand on the counter to ground himself.
His once skinny frame was long gone, now replaced with a large and prominent baby bump, and his almost non-existent breasts were now a B cup. He certainly hoped that his body would just 'bounce back' after he'd had the baby, but it was wishful thinking at this point. He also really hopes he can get some top surgery done after he doesn't have to breastfeed anymore.
As Prompto stands at the kitchen island, he feels a pain in his stomach. He gasps as he holds onto his stomach and does the breathing exercises he'd learned at his lamaze class. Doctor Gainsborough had told him that he'd start to experience Braxton Hicks contractions the closer he got to his due date, and this wasn't the first time he'd dealt with them.
"No, no, no, c'mon. Not now." Prompto pleads. He's not supposed to have the baby for another two weeks, but this pain feels different than the other Braxton Hicks contractions he'd had before. It hurts more, and he feels that something is wrong.
Prompto waddles back to the couch to grab his phone, and he speed dials Ardyn. The phone rings a few times before going to voicemail. Ardyn must've turned his phone on silent while they were in the meeting.
Fuck. Prompto thinks. Fucking council and their dumbass meetings. His anxiety rises as Ardyn's voicemail message plays through his phone.
"This is Ardyn Scientia-Caelum. I'm not available right now. Please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can~." Prompto feels a few tears falling down his cheeks when Ardyn doesn't pick up. The message tone beeps, and he struggles to find something to say.
"Ardyn, i-it's me. I think I'm in labor. I need you and Ignis to come home, please." Prompto says before hanging up. He decides to call Noctis next. Surely his best friend will answer him. Unfortunately, he gets the same response from the prince.
"You've reached Noct! Leave a message!"
"Dammit!" Prompto swears. He doesn't even bother to leave a message. He hangs up and calls Gladio, but Gladio doesn't pick up either.
"This is Gladio. Leave a message."
"What's the point of having a phone if you're not gonna fucking answer it?!" Prompto groans as he sits down on the couch. He dials Ardyn again.
"Pick up, pick up, pick up." Prompto chants. Ardyn's phone goes to voicemail again. "Ardyn, it's me again. Please, you gotta come home. I think the baby's coming." Prompto says worriedly before he hangs up.
Ignis. Ignis will pick up. Prompto thinks. He quickly dials the number. The phone rings a few times before also going to voicemail.
"You've reached Ignis Scientia-Caelum, royal advisor to Prince Noctis. I'm unavailable at the moment. Please leave a message after the beep."
"Gods dammit!" Prompto thinks. "Iggy, it's me. I think I'm in labor. Come home, please." Prompto says before hanging up.
*
Ignis and Ardyn are still in the meeting, and the councilmen are getting nowhere. All that's happening is constant bickering over what bills and laws they should or shouldn't keep, and if they should introduce new ones.
Ignis knows it's rude, but he can't help looking at his phone to check the time. His eyes widen when he sees a notification that he has three missed calls and seven messages from Prompto.
"Grand councilman, I do apologize, but I have to take a moment to call my pregnant husband," Ignis says as he stands up and walks over to the corner of the room. He leans against one of the pillars as he calls Prompto, and Ardyn follows him. "Prom, is everything alright darling?" Ignis asks.
"Iggy. Thank Astrals." Prompto says with relief. After trying to reach him and Ardyn for two hours, one of them finally answered.
"Prompto, what's wrong? You sound distressed dear." Ignis says, and Prompto starts to cry. He's so terrified in this moment, and he needs his alphas.
"I-Iggy, the baby's coming." Prompto sobs as he places his hand over his stomach. He's had five more contractions since the first one, but his water hasn't broken yet.
"Prompto, are you sure you're in labor?" Ignis says, and Ardyn's eyes widen in shock.
"Yes, Ignis. I've already had a few contractions." Prompto replies, and he hears Ardyn saying something in the background.
"Holy Astrals. How far apart are the contractions?" Ignis says. Ardyn continues speaking with one of the high council members in the background, and he notices that they seem a bit angry at their meeting being cut short.
"About twenty minutes." Prompto answers.
"Our child is more important! We're leaving!" Prompto hears Ardyn shout.
"Prompto, we'll be there soon." Ignis says. He pulls Ardyn away from the councilman before their argument can escalate further.
"O-okay. Please don't hang up." Prompto whimpers. More tears fall down his cheeks, and he sniffles.
"I'm right here darling. Did your water break already?" Ignis asks as he and Ardyn start walking down the corridor in the Citadel. They pass by the botanical gardens before reaching the elevator. Prompto always loved the gardens. They'd always find him there after their council meetings. He wasn't of royal status, so he always had to sit outside and wait until they were finished, and he'd taken a hobby in photographing the flora and fauna.
"No." Prompto says.
"Okay, that's good. We can figure out how many centimetres you are once we get home." Ignis says as they take the elevator down. Ardyn grabs the phone from him then.
"Prompto dear, I know you're scared, but it's gonna be okay. Just focus on your breathing. We're leaving right now." Ardyn says. They quickly reach his red Vixen, and once he and Ignis are buckled in, he speeds off to their house. Ardyn hands the phone back to Ignis, and he puts it on speaker.
"Prompto, can you hear me?" Ignis asks.
"Yeah. I can hear you. How far away are you?" Prompto says.
"Considering that Ardyn's speeding, I'd say about ten minutes. I just hope we don't get pulled over." Ignis replies. He places his hand on Ardyn's shoulder, trying to calm the older male.
"The Crownsguard and Glaives know better than to pull over a royal." Ardyn quips as he takes a sharp right.
*
A few minutes later, Prompto hears Ardyn's car pulling into the driveway. He feels another contraction start, and he yelps in pain. He grabs onto his stomach and breathes deeply as the contraction ripples through his body.
"Prompto!" Ignis gasps as he walks inside with Ardyn. They quickly make their way over to their husband.
"Y-you made it. Agh!" Prompto groans, and he reaches for Ignis' hand. He squeezes it as Ardyn sits down next to him and rubs his shoulder.
"Shh. You're ok. We're right here honey. Just breathe." Ardyn says as the contraction passes. Prompto catches his breath and he leans against Ardyn's chest.
"Ardyn, help him undress. I need to check your progress Prompto." Prompto nods, and Ardyn helps him stand. Ardyn pulls his joggers and underwear down for him as Ignis takes the first aid kit out of the hall closet. He sanitizes his hands before putting on some medical gloves and coating two of his fingers with lube.
"Are you good baby?" Ardyn says after he's helped Prompto. He's almost bare naked now, and he blushes a bit. It's not the first time Ignis and Ardyn have seen him like this, but he can't help feeling self conscious.
Prompto nods in response, and he tenses a bit when he feels Ignis' fingers inside him. His body is preparing to birth their child, and everything hurts. He grunts a bit at the feeling.
"Sorry darling. This will only take a few seconds," Ignis says, and Prompto feels his fingers spread a bit. He soon feels Ignis' fingers leave his opening, and he lets out a breath that he didn't know he was holding in. "Okay, you're at four centimetres. Did you want to stay out here, or should we move to the bedroom?"
"I'd rather be in the bed. It's more comfortable." Prompto says.
"Alright, we'll move to the bedroom." Ignis says. Ardyn helps Prompto get up, and they head down the hall to their master bedroom.
*
Twenty minutes later, Prompto has another contraction. "Ardyn, Ignis!" Prompto yells, and Ardyn comes into their room and sits down on their bed.
"I'm here, sunshine. Ignis is in the kitchen grabbing you some ice." Ardyn runs his fingers through Prompto's golden locks as he breathes through the contraction.
"I'm here," Ignis enters the room with a plastic cup of ice. "How are you feeling?"
"Like my insides are being ripped apart." Prompto groans.
"It'll pass dear. Remember to breathe." Ignis coaches as Prompto squeezes his hand.
"Ugh. This sucks. Why does labor have to hurt so much?" Prompto huffs after the contraction has finished.
"I'm sorry darling. I wish there was something we could do." Ignis says as he sits down on the bed.
"All that matters is that you're here. The first two hours by myself were so scary." Prompto says as he leans his head on Ignis' shoulder.
"I'm so sorry dear. We should've been here." Ardyn apologizes.
"It's not your fault. Baby decided to come a couple weeks earlier," Prompto says. "I will be giving the grand councilman a stern talking to though. Alphas need parental leave too, dammit." Ignis laughs softly.
"Yes. They really need to add that." Ignis agrees.
*
A couple hours later...
"Prompto, would you like to walk around a bit? It should help your labor progress easier." Ignis asks. They've been laying in bed while Prompto goes through his contractions, and he can tell that the blonde is getting restless.
"Gods, yes. I need to stretch my legs." Prompto replies, and Ignis helps him off the bed. Ardyn follows close behind them as they head to the living room.
"Did you want to try eating something?" Ardyn asks as he places his hand on Prompto's back.
"I'm okay for now." Prompto replies. He places his right hand on his stomach, and Ignis holds his left while Ardyn rests his hand on his shoulder.
They walk around the room for a while, but nothing changes. Prompto's contractions are still twenty minutes apart, and he starts to get frustrated as the fifth hour rolls by.
"How long is this gonna take?" Prompto whines as he leans his head on Ardyn's shoulder.
"There's no way to know for sure. It's different for everyone, dear. Most first time parents have said that their first child usually takes about twelve to eighteen hours to arrive." Ardyn says.
"Eighteen hours?! I don't want to be in labor for that long! I just wanna meet our baby." Prompto cries.
"We do too darling. They'll be here soon. Either later today or tomorrow, we don't know. They'll come on their own time." Ignis says as he rubs his hand up and down Prompto's arm.
"I'm tired of walking. I wanna lay down." Prompto says.
"Back to the room then." Ignis says.
*
A few more hours go by, and Prompto's still in labor with barely any changes.
"Prompto, I think I should check you again." Ignis says as he snaps a pair of gloves on.
"You need help sweetpea?" Ardyn asks. He's laying down on their king sized bed next to Prompto, idly running his fingers through the blonde's hair.
"Yeah. Help me sit up please." Prompto says, and Ardyn gives him a hand. He sits up straight, and Ignis spreads his legs open before pressing two fingers inside of him to check his dilation. It's quicker than last time, and Prompto lays back down when Ignis is finished.
"You're five centimetres now dear." Ignis informs the omega.
"Seriously? It's been nine hours, and I'm only five centimetres?! This fucking sucks!" Prompto groans.
"You wanna walk around again?" Ignis asks as he tosses the blue gloves into the trash.
"No. Actually, yeah," Prompto responds. Ignis and Ardyn grab each of his hands, and they help Prompto stand. Prompto feels a sudden pressure when he gets up, and then a clear liquid runs down his legs. "I think my water just broke." Prompto says as he looks down at the hardwood floor where a puddle is forming.
"I'll get something to clean it up with. Don't move." Ignis says as he walks over to the master bathroom. He quickly returns with a white towel, and he kneels down to wipe up the puddle.
"We should change your clothes." Ardyn says as Prompto looks up at him nervously.
"Y-yeah." Prompto says softly. Ardyn pulls off his pants and underwear, and he steps out of them. Ardyn hands Prompto's clothes to Ignis after he's cleaned up the puddle, and he puts them in the laundry basket.
"Do you wanna put on another pair of pants, or are you good like this?" Ignis asks.
"Just some underwear, please." Prompto answers, and Ignis takes a pair of boxers out of the dresser before handing them to Ardyn. Ardyn quickly helps Prompto into them before they head to the hallway.
"Okay, now that your water's broken, things should start moving a bit faster." Ignis says as Prompto starts taking laps around the living room again.
"Gods, I hope so. Ignis, I—agh, fuck! Fuck, it hurts so bad!" Prompto grunts as another contraction courses through him, and he grips tightly onto his lovers' hands.
"Breathe, darling." Ignis says.
"I know, Ignis!" Prompto shouts, and he immediately regrets it. "Iggy, I-I'm sorry."
"It's ok. You're in pain darling. We won't take anything to heart, right Ardyn?" Ignis says.
"Of course not. Would you like to sit down dearest?" Ardyn says as Prompto's contraction finishes. He rubs his husband's back a little, trying to help ease his pain.
"Yeah. My feet hurt." Prompto says, and he waddles over to the couch. He sits down slowly, and Ardyn sits down as well. Ignis decides to sit on the floor.
"Prom, you're doing so well." Ignis says as he brings Prompto's hand up to his lips and kisses it.
"Thanks Iggy." Prompto breathes out. He's been in labor for eleven and a half hours now, and his face sure shows it. His blonde hair and freckled cheeks are covered in sweat, and he knows he looks like a downright mess.
"Prompto darling, would you like something to drink?" Ignis asks the omega.
"Sure. Water is fine." Prompto replies, and Ignis stands up to head to the kitchen.
"Ardyn, care for an Ebony?"
"Sure. Thank you love." Ardyn replies. Ignis grabs two cans of Ebony from the fridge, and then a water bottle for Prompto.
"Here we are. Some water for you, and Ebony for us." Ignis says as he sits down next to Ardyn. He hands the omega a water bottle, and then he hands a can of Ebony to Ardyn.
"Thank you sweetcheeks." Ardyn says. He kisses Ignis' pink lips softly before pulling away.
"Tis my pleasure." Ignis says, and Prompto smiles at his two alphas. He's usually the center of their affection, but he loves when they have a moment of their own.
"So cute." Prompto whispers. Ardyn and Ignis look at him, and they both blush.
"You think so? You're pretty cute too." Ardyn says before kissing Prompto's cheek. Prompto tenses up a few seconds later, and he doubles over in pain, gripping his stomach. He cries out and grabs Ardyn's hand.
"Another one?" Ignis asks, and Prompto nods. He watches Prompto's face scrunch up in pain as the contraction rolls through his body, and he places a comforting hand on the blonde's knee.
Prompto whimpers as the pain subsides, and he presses his face into Ardyn's chest, a few tears falling down his cheeks.
"It's okay. You're gonna be okay." Ardyn soothes as he rubs Prompto's aching back.
"I just want it to be over!" Prompto sobs as he clutches Ardyn's shirt. Ignis' heart breaks at seeing Prompto in so much pain, but he knows it will all be worth it in the end.
"Prom, look at me honey," Ignis says, and the blonde turns to look at him with red rimmed eyes and tear stained cheeks. "You're doing so well sweetheart. You're so strong, and I'm so proud of you." Ignis comforts the omega, and Prompto wipes away his tears with the back of his hand.
Prompto sniffles. "Y-you really mean that?"
"I do darling. Every word of it." Ignis replies. He kisses Prompto softly.
"Ignis is right. You're doing great dearest." Ardyn chimes in, and he rubs the back of Prompto's hand with his thumb. Prompto leans his head on Ardyn's chest, and he sighs as Ardyn plays with his hair.
*
Three more hours go by, and Prompto's now seven centimetres dilated. His contractions are still twenty minutes apart, with each of them lasting about thirty seconds. Prompto's opted to laying down on their bed again, and Ardyn and Ignis are laying down on either side of him.
"You're so beautiful Prompto. I'm gonna miss seeing you pregnant with our little one." Ardyn says as he traces little circles on Prompto's baby bump.
"Maybe we can have another one in a few years." Ignis says. He's propped up next to Prompto, his hand resting on his cheek.
"Mm, maybe. But this hurts so much, you have no idea," Prompto says. He tries to sit up a little, and Ignis helps him. He's then hit with a contraction, and he whimpers. "Oh, fuck! Fucking astrals, fuck!" Prompto yells, and Ignis offers him his hand. He squeezes Ignis' hand tightly, and he loosens his grip as the pain starts to lessen.
"That was ten minutes. They're getting closer." Ignis says as he looks at the timer on his phone.
"Stronger too. That one really hurt." Prompto breathes deeply, and he places his hand on his baby bump.
"One through ten, how bad was it?" Ardyn asks.
"S-seven. Oh, gods." Prompto says as he feels a wave of nausea come over him.
"Prompto? You're looking a bit pale." Ignis says worriedly.
"Think I'm gonna be sick." Prompto says with a groan, and Ignis places a rubbish bin in front of him. He throws up into it, and his alphas share a concerned look. Prompto's morning sickness was quite bad in the first trimester of his pregnancy, and they didn't expect him to get sick during labor.
"It's alright Prom. Just let it out." Ignis says as he places a hand on Prompto's shoulder.
"Ugh. That was horrible." Prompto says after he feels that he's finished puking his guts out. Ignis places the rubbish bin on the floor nearby in case they need it again.
"Here darling. Drink some water." Ignis hands Prompto a water bottle. Prompto graciously takes the water, and he takes a few sips before handing it back to Ignis.
"Thanks Iggy. Ardyn, can you take off my bra? I'm hot." Prompto requests as he wipes his mouth.
"Sure baby." Ardyn replies. He unlatches the clasps on the back of Prompto's bra, and the omega breathes a sigh of relief. He absolutely hates wearing bras, but they're unfortunately necessary now that his breasts have gotten bigger and wearing a binder isn't possible. It'll be much better when he can get his top surgery and have them removed.
"Thank you. Kisses?" Prompto says, puckering his lips. Ardyn laughs softly before cupping Prompto's cheek with one hand and giving him a chaste kiss on the lips.
"Mm. You taste good." Prompto says after he pulls away from the kiss. He then leans over and kisses Ignis as well.
"Prompto, what's got you so worked up?" Ignis asks.
"Nothing. I just love you guys." Prompto says. He grabs a pillow from behind him and places it between his legs. He repositions himself so that he's sitting native style.
"I love you too." Ardyn and Ignis say at the same time, and Prompto smiles. He couldn't have asked for better husbands.
*
"Iggy, make it stop!" Prompto cries out. He grips onto Ignis' arm tightly as he goes through the most painful contraction yet.
"Shh...it's alright darling. You're doing so well. Just breathe." Ardyn says softly.
"Easy for you to say! You aren't being torn in half!" Prompto yells. He collapses onto the pillows behind him with a groan as the pain subsides.
Ardyn sighs as he sits down on the bed by Prompto's feet. Prompto's been in labor for almost fourteen hours, and he can tell that it's getting to him. Ardyn and Ignis are tired as well, but they certainly won't tell Prompto that unless they want profanities screamed at them.
"Prompto, I think I should check your dilation again. It's been a few hours and I'd like to see how you're progressing." Ignis says as he stands up.
"Okay." Prompto says, a little out of breath. His contractions are five minutes apart now, with each of them lasting about a minute. He barely has time to breathe before the next one arrives.
"Darling, you're ten centimetres. It's time to start pushing." Ignis announces.
"Finally." Prompto says.
"Ardyn, I want you to sit behind Prompto and let him lean against your chest. It'll help give him some leverage," Ignis says. Ardyn nods, and he shifts himself and Prompto until they're in the aforementioned position. "Prom, push on your next contraction, okay? You've got this." Ignis instructs.
It isn't long before Prompto's hit with another contraction, and he bears down, gripping onto Ardyn's forearms. He groans as the contraction works through him, and he feels the baby moving slightly lower.
"Good Prompto, good. Take a breather and push again." Ignis says from where he's situated between Prompto's legs.
"Agh! Shit, shit, shit!" Prompto yells as he pushes again, the pain returning tenfold.
"You're doing so good Prompto." Ardyn whispers as he brushes some of Prompto's hair behind his ear. Prompto nods weakly, and he grips tightly onto Ardyn as he pushes again.
They go through the routine for about ten minutes, and Prompto falls back against Ardyn's chest as another contraction finishes.
"Iggy, I can't do this anymore." Prompto says, exhausted from pushing. Tears fall down his cheeks, and he presses his face into Ardyn's chest as he sobs from the pain.
"Prompto, I know you're tired honey, but you're almost there. It should only take a few more pushes." Ignis says. He's starting to see part of the baby's head.
"O-okay." Prompto stutters. He grits his teeth as he pushes again, and he accidentally scratches Ardyn's arms, but not hard enough to draw blood.
"The head's coming darling! You're doing great!" Ignis announces.
"F-fuck! Holy six!" Prompto groans. "Gods, it burns!"
"Breathe Prompto." Ardyn says as he rubs the blonde's arm soothingly.
"The baby's crowning! Just breathe through this part, it'll prevent you from tearing." Ignis says. He looks up at Prompto, and he can tell how tired he is. His hair is matted, he's sweating profusely, and he looks like he could really use a nap after everything is over.
"Oh, gods. Are we almost there? I'm so tired." Prompto says as he closes his eyes briefly.
"The head's almost out, Prom. You're in the home stretch, don't tap out yet." Ignis says as he taps Prompto's leg in an attempt to keep him awake.
"I-I'm okay, I'm fine." Prompto says weakly. He pushes again, and he feels the baby's head emerge.
"Head's out now darling. A few more pushes should do it. I just have to check for the cord." Ignis says. He moves his hands towards the baby's neck, checking to see if the umbilical cord is wrapped around it. Once he's made sure everything is good, he gives Prompto a thumbs up.
Prompto pushes again on the next contraction, and he feels the shoulders start to slip out. He moans in pain, and Ignis places his hands under the baby's head.
"One more push Prom!" Ignis encourages. Prompto gives one final push, and the baby slips out and into Ignis' hands. Ignis clears the baby's airways with the suction bulb he'd kept in the nearby kit they made for the birth, and their child lets out a cry shortly after.
"Prompto, we have a daughter." Ignis says happily. He then clamps the umbilical cord before handing their baby over to Prompto.
"Oh my gods. She's beautiful," Prompto says. "Hi honey. I'm your daddy." Prompto whispers as he holds his newborn child in his arms, and a few happy tears run down his cheeks.
"Ardyn, she looks like you a bit." Ignis says as he walks over with sterile scissors. He and Ardyn cut the cord together, and then Ignis sits down on the bed next to Prompto.
"Aw, she does. She's got my eyes." Ardyn says with a smile. He was hoping that if the baby was his that she'd at least inherit one thing from him. The rest of her face is all Prompto's features, and her hair is blonde too.
"Are we still going with the name you chose?" Ignis asks as he caresses their daughter's cheek.
"Yeah. Freya Liv." Prompto says.
"I'm gonna get her cleaned up. I'll be right back." Ignis says as he picks up their daughter. He carries her over to the bathroom sink to wash her off.
Prompto looks up at Ardyn as Ignis walks away with Freya, and Ardyn smiles at him.
"We really made a baby. She's actually here." Prompto says, astonished.
"You did amazing dearest. We're so proud of you." Ardyn says. He leans down to kiss the blonde's forehead.
*
Ignis comes back in the room a few minutes later, and he sits down on the bed with Freya in his arms.
"Here she is." Ignis says as he hands Freya over to Prompto.
"She's so tiny." Prompto comments. He's already delivered the afterbirth, and now he's resting in Ardyn's arms.
"She'll grow up big and strong though, won't you angel?" Ignis coos at Freya. She just looks up at him with her big amber eyes, and then she yawns.
"I think she's getting sleepy." Ardyn says.
"I guess being born is just as tiring as giving birth." Prompto says.
"Hello little one, I'm your dad," Ardyn smiles at his firstborn daughter, and he gasps when she grabs hold of his pointer finger with her little hand. Ignis wipes away a tear from Ardyn's face, and Ardyn looks up at him. He hadn't even realized that he was crying. "She's really here Ignis. We have a daughter."
"I know. She's perfect." Ignis laughs softly, his green eyes also brimming with tears. Freya takes that moment to let out a shrill cry, and the three men are startled by her sudden outburst.
"She's probably hungry." Prompto says.
"Guide her to you, Prompto. She might need help." Ignis advises.
"Okay, here we go baby," Prompto says before he moves Freya's head lightly until her mouth is near his chest. She easily latches on to his nipple, and she begins to feed from Prompto. "Is that good, sweetpea? Daddy's got plenty for you." Prompto says with a soft laugh.
Freya feeds from Prompto's chest for a few minutes, and she releases once she's had her fill. Prompto lifts her up and rubs her back until she lets out a small burp.
"That's my girl." Prompto says. He repositions Freya, and he rocks her softly until she falls asleep in his arms.
"We should let her sleep. You need to rest as well Prom." Ignis says. He carefully lifts Freya out of Prompto's arms and places her in the bassinet near their bed.
Ignis' phone vibrates in his pocket a few minutes later. He looks at the caller ID to see that it's Noct. "Noct, how are you?" Ignis says as he answers the phone.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that Specs? Did Prom have the baby yet?" Noctis says as Gladio climbs onto the bed, sitting next to him.
"Yes. A little girl." Ignis replies.
"Congratulations to you three. What's her name?" Gladio speaks up.
"Freya Liv. She's got Ardyn's eyes, but the rest of her is all Prompto. Blonde hair and freckles included." Ignis says as he places his arm around Prompto's shoulder.
"Is that Noct?" Prompto says tiredly. Ignis nods, and Prompto holds his hand out for the phone.
"Hold on a second Gladio, Prompto wants to talk to you and Noct." Ignis says before passing the phone over.
"Hey guys." Prompto says softly.
"Hey Prompto. Congrats on the baby. How is she?" Noctis asks.
"I fed her earlier. She's asleep." Prompto says with a yawn.
"You should get some sleep too Blondie. You sound exhausted." Gladio says in concern.
"Yeah, I will. I'll talk to you guys later." Prompto says. He hands the phone back to Ignis before shutting his eyes and getting into a comfortable position to fall asleep.
"Would you two like to speak with Ardyn? He's here too." Ignis says as he places the phone between his chin and his shoulder.
"I don't see why not. He's the baby's father too." Noctis replies.
"Ardyn, it's Noct and Gladio." Ignis says as he passes the phone to his red-violet haired husband.
"To what do I owe the pleasure, your highness?" Ardyn drawls teasingly.
"Ignis says the baby's here. Congrats on your daughter." Noctis says.
"Thank you. Prompto did very well. He and Freya are resting now." Ardyn says as he looks over at Freya. She's still fast asleep in her bassinet.
"I'm sure you and Ignis're tired as well." Gladio says.
"Yea. We've all been up since seven this morning. You're welcome to come by tomorrow if Prompto's up for visitors." Ardyn says.
"We probably will. Goodnight guys." Noctis says before hanging up.
"It's time we get some well needed rest too Ignis. C'mere love," Ardyn says as he brings Ignis over to him. He kisses the brunette's lips. "I love you so much."
"I love you too. See you in the morning." Ignis says as he moves over to the right side of the bed. He switches off the bedside lamp before snuggling Prompto, breathing in the omega's sweet scent. Ardyn also snuggles Prompto from the other side of him, and they drift off to sleep. Nothing could be better than this.

Newly Separated: Noctis Caelum x Reader
Hollow.
Almost as if you yourself were actually hollow, that’s how bad it was.
You felt no emotion, mainly because you didn’t know how to process information like this. You didn’t know whether to be sad, to be angry, to be confused.
You sat there on your couch, staring at the television, eyes glued no longer to the live footage of the Citadel in all of its royal glory, but to the latest news headline.
You had just turned on the local news to see what the weather would be like tonight as Noctis had promised you that he would take you out as he had been busy with boring council meetings and pointless calls on complete bullshit. You didn’t blame him though, he was the prince, he would be taking up the throne soon, he was stressed and he would be shoved and pulled into calls and meetings all the time. You knew what you were signing up for when you agreed on dating Noctis.
You knew it even more when he had proposed to you nearly a year and a half ago.
Oh Gods.
You suddenly felt sick to your stomach. You felt your throat squeezing tightly, it was suddenly too hard to breathe. You felt like you were going to faint and… was it suddenly too hot in here?
With swaying vision, you kept rereading the headlines, the news broadcasters quickly rambling on what was happening on the live footage.
‘Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum to wed Lady Lunafreya Nox Fleuret.’
It was a peace treaty, something Regis himself couldn’t back his kingdom out of. You could see the look of pain on his face in the few shots of him the news had captured, Noctis looking even worse.
You couldn’t help but fiddle with the engagement ring still on your fing-
The ring.
You felt as though you were suddenly punched in the gut. You tore your eyes away from the television screen to look down at the ring on your finger.
Pure sparkling silver engraved with swirls and spirals with the brightest and clearest sapphires and diamonds you have ever seen. It was something out of a fairy tale, it was so beautiful.
You suddenly felt disgusting wearing it, like you weren’t worthy to wear it.
It’s because you’re not.
You felt like you were going to vomit from dizzying this whole situation was. Chills ran down your spine like icy fingers, a frozen ball sat deep in your gut. You couldn’t breathe. Your hand that adorned the engagement ring had suddenly grown too heavy as though your ring finger had suddenly turned to heavy lead.
Your breath had started to shudder, your vision started to blur with tears.
It was all starting to settle in now, the whole situation now starting to sink into your mind that now felt like shattering glass.
With trembling fingers, you slid the engagement ring off and set it on the coffee table in front of you where you watched it for maybe another few minutes, allowing tears to fall as you silently cried to yourself in your mind. No matter what you wanted to do, you couldn’t find any drive to open your mouth and sob and wail. Instead, tears were blinked away, they trailed down your cheeks and soaked into your bottoms before the television had suddenly distracted you once again.
“We’ve just received word that Prince Noctis was asked his opinion on the established peace treaty with Niflheim,” the male reporter stated in his usual monotone drawl.
Instead, the front steps of the Citadel remained empty. Noctis did not step foot outside to face the crowd.
What was he going to do? What would he say? He’ll give up the safety of his people for a commoner with no trace of royal blood?
Instead, the reporters stood in shock as Noctis never left the Citadel doors to address them. Not even Ignis nor Regis stepped outside.
Instead, an official from Niflheim had stepped out, a man with wine red hair and the creepiest grin on his aged face. You could feel horrible energy through your television just from looking at him, only to be revealed as the High Chancellor of Niflheim himself: Ardyn Izunia.
You didn’t listen to his cheshire voice spew out curdled words, instead opting to mute the television altogether.
And that was when you heard your phone blowing up from its spot on the charger in the kitchen. You didn’t have the energy to get up, but you had somehow willed your legs to push you up from the sofa and stumbled out into the kitchen, tossing the charger away and squinting at how bright your phone suddenly became with spams of text messages from multiple people; Gladio, Prompto, Ignis, Nyx and… Noctis…
You tore apart every text message.
Prompto was apologetic, offering comfort and fun times.
Gladio and Nyx were both offering help, offering to help you grieve with things to take your mind off this.
Ignis was level-headed and patient, promising you to help you heal and explain everything to you when the time was right.
And Noctis, you only got one message from him:
'Stay where you are. I’m coming.’
You suddenly looked back to the television with red and swollen eyes, mouth slacking as it clicked in your head.
Noctis didn’t come out the front, he snuck through the back like you both did when you first started dating to avoid detection from Gladio and Ignis as well as his father.
You went back to stand in front of the television, watching with a weird feeling in your gut as time ticked by faster than you expected.
You were suddenly startled out of your trance with the news station when the front door of your shared apartment swung open to reveal Noctis standing there.
He was out of breath, hair a complete mess from running his hands through it when stressed, eyes pink from crying and nose still a little red.
You both found yourselves embracing each other tightly as if the other would fade out of existence. Your legs had crumpled, knees collapsing to the floor as you both clawed at each others clothing. Noctis was trembling under your grasp, but you didn’t know if he was shaking with rage or out of grief.
“I’m so sorry,” he mourned into your shoulder. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop this.”
Your shoulder by this point was soaked with tears, your shirt now stretched out due to him grabbing two fistfuls and pulling.
“It’s okay,” you sniffled, scratching at the back of his neck gently. “It’s okay, we’ll figure something out,” you mumbled by his ear.
“Please,” he somehow tugged you closer despite there being no pocket of space between the two of you anymore, “I can’t lose you. I can’t (Y/n).”
“It’s all going to be okay,” you whimpered into his jacket.
But just like back in the good days where you would sneak through, Ignis would always be the one to catch you.
You saw his lean figure in the doorway, the advisor looking as though he had shed a few tears on his way to fetch the prince from the loss of your engagement to Noctis. But seeing how Noctis was clinging to you had Ignis back off, deciding it was best to wait as he couldn’t bear tearing him away from the one person that made him the happiest.
So you sat there in your shared apartment, Noctis’ dry sobs the only sound in your ear as you rocked him in your arms, fearing this would be the last time you would see your true love.

My Art Summary 2023
2023 will end soon. I faced a huge change throughout the year such as promotion, relocation, tougher schedule, etc. I was too busy to make arts, but I'm so glad that I made enough to create an art summary. Because my arts weren't finished in monthly basis, so I don't add names of months again. Thank you for all impressions and participations for my work. I'll keep practicing. 🥰❤️
Tumblr media
The first one was the 2023 celebrating piece. I made the chocobros playing multiplayer game, the same composition as Comrade's advertisement, but they are older, in alternate ending appearances.
Tumblr media
The second one was a happy birthday Ignis piece. I drew his much older self, as we had seen him greeting King Noctis in alternate ending end credit. Thanks @gakusa2 in x for the gorgeous reference.
Tumblr media
The third one was a happy birthday Ardyn piece. I drew his chancellor outfit with his famous grin.
Tumblr media
The fourth one was a comic I made in an Ignoct gift exchange 2023 campaign. I drew more realistic brotherhood Ignis for the first time.
Tumblr media
See full work here.
The fifth one was a finished sketch, but I will color it later. The piece was a Gladio/Ignis romantic moment. I got my inspiration from my Gladnis mutuals and made such ship related piece for the first time.
Tumblr media
The sixth one was one of [chocobros in Hellsing TV series outfit] series, I drew Noctis in Integral Hellsing's outfit first.
Tumblr media
The seventh one was a part of [chocobros in Hellsing TV series outfit] too. I drew Gladiolus in Alucard's outfit.
Tumblr media
The eighth one was still part of [chocobros in Hellsing TV series outfit]. I drew Ignis in Walter C. Dornez's outfit.
Tumblr media
The ninth one was made for Ignis fashionweek 2023 campaign. It was first created in 2022 but I couldn't finish it, so I retried in 2023. The outfit was [shirtless under a suit].
Tumblr media
The tenth piece was a happy 7th anniversary of FFXV piece. I drew 7 characters in top 100 Final Fantasy Big Vote.
Tumblr media
The eleventh piece was made for Christmas-themed FFcolorwheel in x.
Tumblr media
And the twelfth piece was the last one in [chocobros in Hellsing TV series outfit] when I drew Prompto in Seras Victoria's outfit.

Chapter 2: The Ball || Different (FFXV! Ardyn Izunia x WW! Reader)
Summary:
Y/N is a fallen Wing Warrior that can't fly. She is also a loner. When she gets found by King Regis, he takes her under his wing and trains her to be a strong warrior. But when a handsome (tragic) man, known as Chancellor Ardyn Izunia, sees her at a ball, held by King Regis himself, he takes an interest in her. He begins watching and obsessing over her. When Y/N gets sent away by King Regis to protect Noctis and his friends, Ardyn will do anything to make Y/N his… and his only.
But while Y/N is completely clueless about it, she searches for answers through stories. But can she change his heart that is shrouded in darkness and desire for revenge? What if Ardyn becomes king when Noctis sleeps in the Crystal for 10 years? What if he returns to fight Ardyn? What if Y/N becomes deadly sick with no cure?
All can be found in this book!
------------------------------------------
It's been like a month ever since Y/N arrived in Eos. It's like an earth-like planet where she was now. It's been... interesting to say the least. She was allowed to explore the surroundings of Insomnia and mostly the books attracted her to them. Y/N was careful of her surroundings and she didn't let her fears get in the way, especially when it came to her wings, her pure fluffy white wings. They were sensitive, yes... but they were strong as well.
As time passed, Y/N eventually met more people who would become her friends: Noctis, Gladio, and Prompto. She already met Ignis. She found out more about who they were. Noctis was the son of King Regis and also the heir to the throne. Prompto was Noctis' best friend. Gladio was Noctis' shield while Ignis was the advisor of the royal family. It was... interesting.
Not only meeting them but also her training.
The current king and Cor trained Y/N for hours by fighting with weapons. She felt herself becoming stronger than before. While she did become stronger, there was someone in the shadows watching over her...
Y/N was clueless about it.
She also got permission to use books to learn more about the monarchs, histories, and places. The very first Lucis Caelum king was Somnus. The book said things like who his parents were and where he was born. It also said that he was the only child. Now something told in Y/N's gut that it wasn't true. Why was she feeling this way? Was there something that the historians didn't find? Or was it kept a secret? Why was the woman feeling rage?
It was nearly ball and Y/N found a dress that was color (choice) (please choose or imagine a color that will suit Ardyn's appearance. It's unknown which color his favorite is. But if you dislike the idea, than feel free to choose a color that matches your white wings). She got enough gil, the money that Eos uses, to pay for a dress in a clothing store outside of the castle. She put on the beautiful ball gown dress and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked beautiful... stunning. She was taken aback. Her hair was slightly curled and her face had light makeup on. She wasn't too girly to put on a lot of makeup. She didn't mind to put a little bit.
Once she saw that everything was looking fine, she put on her ladies' flat shoes instead of high heels. She was not a chick high-heel person. She took a deep breath, closed her wings securely, and opened the door. She could hear very faint music playing around. She stepped out and closed the door behind her. She walked towards the main ballroom, where the king held the ball out for this evening. Y/N entered the room and she gasped by how big the room was and even by how many people there were. Everyone was well dressed in suits and dresses. King Regis was this time not on the throne as he was speaking with some men who seemed to be in high positions.
Once she saw that everyone seemed to be busy with one another, the Wing Warrior began to feel sad. She was again a loner and an outcast. She needed to do something about it.
But what she didn't know was that she was being watched.
She saw a drinking table nearby so she went there and boy, was she a shy and polite girl. If she bumped into someone then she apologizes. She also said politely and softly "Excuse me" to pass by. Once she reached the table, she grabbed a glass and poured water into it. She wasn't a drinker or a smoker. She preferred herself clean inside. Once she finished drinking water, she set the glass back down and that's when King Regis walked on stage, grabbing the microphone from the stander. "Good evening, everyone. I want to thank you all for joining the ball for tonight." King Regis went on by why he held the ball and he spoke a little further, until the singing part comes. He looked at Y/N, who looked nervous. She asked the king a day before if she could sing before the ball would be held. She explained the reason and that was she wanted to sing and teach the people of Eos that she was different. She was sure that the music was still the same just like in her world.
"We will today have singers on stage, first one will be my apprentice. Please welcome Y/N," King Regis said, welcoming Y/N with a warm look in his eyes.
Y/N walked towards the stage and there were applauses from a lot of people that were in this room. She felt shy and smiled a little. Due to being an outcast and a loner, she experienced depression and had many episodes of attacks inside of her. But she tries her best to not let it get to her. She stepped on the stage and took the microphone from King Regis' hand before bowing to him in respect. Once she stood up, she saw his kind and heartwarming eyes looking into hers. He laid his hand on her shoulder and patted her very shortly before leaving the stage.
Y/N looked toward the crowd while hiding her nervous expression. She was sweating but hoped it would be gone if someone wanted to dance with her. Uhm, spoilers, she was a bad dancer. She did a small bow first before she stood straight up and spoke: "I'd like to thank his Majesty for inviting me on stage. I requested it before this ball took place. I will today sing a song that is actually from my world. It is in French but it's a beautiful one. It's called 'Love Story'. Enjoy."
As Y/N began to sing, she didn't know that her singing voice improved. Sure, it was normal for beginners not to sing perfectly but... there were celebrities out there who were born with singing talent. Some of the couples began to dance while others were gaping at Y/N. To them, she was a beauty with a beautiful voice. Y/N sang with her eyes closed and with a smile, she danced a bit and used her whole body to move. She even did a couple of small and delicate spins.
Among the crowd, there was a man with yellow/amber eyes. He didn't exactly wear a suit but he looked damn fine. His hair was red-violet. He also had handsome strong features. He looked at Y/N with deep interest and smirked. He will speak to her after she finishes.
Once Y/N was done, she bowed and the public gave a big applause to her for that. She gave the microphone to the next singer, who was also a woman but not a Wing Warrior. Both women gave each other a respectful nod before they parted ways. Y/N carefully walked down off from the stage and once her feet hit the floor, she felt relieved. Sure, she did enjoy singing, but she was a nervous wreck on stage. Her sweat began slowly to disappear.
Just as she wanted to grab a drink (with water) at the table, a man stopped her. He was dressed... with interesting clothing for this ball tonight. Or was this his choice of clothing for a living? He was dressed like a chancellor and wore a fedora hat on his head. His eyes were amber and his hair was red-violet. He smirked at the Wing Warrior and the woman was blushing. But why?
"My dear, I heard you singing on stage and I must say, your voice is like gifted by the Gods," the man responded.
Y/N felt her heart flatter at the compliment by this man. But... why did her body tell her that he was not someone to be trusted? He looked to be a mysterious man but why does he look interesting to Y/N? "Why, thank you, sir. It's an honor." She bowed.
The man grinned this time but still had a smirk on his face. "I must say, you're interesting."
Y/N tilted her head a bit to the side. "How so?" She was clueless about what the mysterious man meant about that. The man thought that it was cute of her to be oblivious. "I heard that you are from a different world by rumors. And that seems to be correct—my, my." He circled Y/N and the Wing Warrior kept an eye on him. "You are unique. Wing Warrior, am I correct?" He said as he stopped in front of the woman.
Y/N nodded, showing the signal that he was correct. That's when he smirked again and wanted to touch her wings, to feel how soft they were. But he decided not to do it that... yet. He leaned a bit too close to Y/N's ear and whispered: "Even your name is beautiful... Y/N."
Y/N wanted to ask how he knew her name until she remembered that King Regis said her name out loud in front of the crowd. She felt herself embarrassed. She tried to hide it by covering her face with her hands but the mysterious man grabbed her hands delicately and held them in his big warm ones, causing Y/N to blush.
"Ah, ah, ah. Don't hide your beautiful face, my dear," He flirted.
Just as Y/N wanted to remark, she heard the woman sing a song and Y/N couldn't help but look at her. She was... too shy to look at the man holding her hands. Y/N felt her fingers hooked under her jaw gently and her head turned to look into his amber eyes. He smirked, let go of her, and bowed, which surprised Y/N.
He then stood back up and stuck out his hand to her, causing Y/N to blush even more. "May I have a dance with you?"
Y/N settled her hand on his and he, with care, romantically held her hand. Y/N blushed again. She should learn to stop blushing so much. The man noticed it and chuckled. "You blush too much, my dear."
Y/N squealed and pulled away gently. But the mysterious man pulled her back. That's when another beautiful song came on. It must be a song from their world, Y/N thought.
The mysterious man gently tugged Y/N and she quickly woke up, realizing that she was being led to the dancefloor. Y/N didn't know how to dance and she panicked on the inside. Once she was by the other dancers, Y/N didn't know what to do and she looked pleadingly at the mysterious amber-eyed man for help. He smirked at her and placed her one hand on his shoulder and the Wing Warrior felt his one hand on her back. She blushed slightly. He leaned to her ear and whispered: "Just follow my lead, my darling."
Y/N nodded, shyness taking over as they began to dance. It was a slow dance and it felt... so right. But her body kept screaming at her that this man was not someone to be trusted. But she betrayed herself and found herself enjoying the dance with him. Who was he? She felt lost in his amber eyes.
Y/N yelped as he dipped her gently. He smirked and pulled her back up. As the song ended, he leaned in and Y/N blushed furiously. Was he going to kiss her? She had never been kissed before. Yes, she was a virgin too and it made her nervous as heck. She found herself leaning in too and just as their lips were about to meet, there suddenly was an attack, causing Y/N to pull away to look at what was happening. She looked with wide eyes as a familiar figure entered the room with black wings. It was a male. He scanned the room and smirked upon spotting Y/N. "I finally found you, Y/N."

TITLE: Until Darkness Descends
CHAPTER: 43/47
FANDOM; Final Fantasy XV
SERIES: The Fall Part 1 of 4
RATING: Explicit
MAIN PAIR: Ardyn Izunia x Reader
SEC PAIR: Gladiolus Amicitia x Reader
He was gone by the time you woke up the next morning. The pillow and the bedding beside you was cold to the touch, meaning Ardyn had left some time ago. Which was for the best, you would’ve had to confront your mistake if had he stayed, but still. You couldn’t help but wished he did.
You grabbed your phone just as you noticed a loose leaf of paper on the nightstand. Picking it up, you read the note that was scribbled in impeccable cursive. It was a short note, simple and straight to the point. He apologized for leaving before you could wake and promised to visit you soon. Your chest smarted from the violent thump of your heart when you spotted a phone number at the bottom of the page.
A myriad of emotions whistled through your skull  and you weren’t sure which one to listen to. Ardyn had never left you a way to contact him before. At some point you thought he didn’t have a phone, but he did and he finally chose to share that number with you. You brushed your sweat slicked palm through your hair, your heart stuck between your ribs. The correct choice would be to toss the note in the trashcan and forget you ever saw his contact.
But temptation was a hard drug to reject. Your heart dropped into the pit of your stomach as you saved his number into your phone. A wavy bliss settled over your head in a mad dichotomy to the thunder in your belly. Your thumb hovered over the delete icon. Your skin buzzed with angry nerves that pounded against the underside of your flesh. You should do it. This isn't right. This isn't right. This isn't fucking right! You yelped when the device vibrated in your hand. The blue screen illuminated with a notification. It was a message from Gladiolus telling you he was an hour away and to wake up Iris.
Guilt made your chest itch as you looked at the undeleted contact one last time. Nausea crept over your neck but you ignored it by throwing on your jeggings and crossing the hallway to Iris's room.  Much to your surprise she was already awake, fully dressed with two duffle bags already packed. She acknowledged you standing in the doorway and you gave her a few words before closing the door behind you. Usually you would say more than just a few words to Iris. She was like a little sister to you in many ways. She was the first of the siblings you befriended despite the five year age difference between you, and your friendship only became stronger once you started dating her brother.
Or at least it was strong. You bit the inside of your cheek as shame filled your body with sticky sludge. Much like Gladiolus you couldn't engage with her like you used to. You couldn't crack corny jokes with her, or gush about her brother, you couldn't give her advice, or pretend that nothing was going on. She didn't deserve to be lied to, and you didn't have the stomach to play the faithful girlfriend to her older brother like you used to be.
The boys arrived an hour later and it was just you and Talcott for the next three days till Monica arrived. Despite leaving days later your traveling party was the first to arrive in Caem. Your phone vibrated insistently in your pocket. Climbing out the car, you pulled out your phone and saw a message from Gladiolus letting you know he and others got sidetracked. They should arrive in two hours.
After exchanging a few words with Monica, she escorted Talcott to the safehouse while you departed for the lighthouse. It stood sentinel at the edge of a rocky cliff, overlooking the sparkling calm waters of the sea. By the time you reached it, your quads were burning  and your breaths were straining in your lungs.
Despite being an old building, it was in tip top shape. The stairs didn’t even creak as you descended the steps. Reaching the bottom, you found Cor leaning against the doorframe. Arms folded in front of his chest, his lips were twisted in a frown. The faint crow’s feet at the corners of his eyes creased while he pondered hard about whatever was on his mind.
Your footsteps reverberated across the floor, pulling his attention to you at last. He gave you a slight nod in greeting, looking up the twisting stairs in search of someone who wasn’t there. “I’m surprised the boys aren’t with you.”
“We decided to split up for the trip but they’ll be here in a few hours.” You said.
“Tell’em boys to save the trip.” A raspy voice said through the doorway. You crossed it, your eyes darting to the medium sized boat that bobbed up and down in the waterway. Sitting across from it was Cid. He was hunched over his legs, his forearms on his knees and a toolbox by his foot. “This boat’s not goin’ anywhere.”
“Cid and I had been working on it for the past few days but it's missing a few parts.” Cor said as he approached you from behind.
That didn't seem like much of an issue at all. “Can’t you just buy the parts you need?”
“It’s not that simple.” Cor sighed. “The parts the boat needs can only be constructed using a rare ore called mythril.”
You turned around. “Well, maybe the boys and I can look for it. Do you know where we could fi-”
“It ain’t worth the trouble.” Cid cut you off. Your nostrils flared but you tried not to take his abrasiveness too personally. No matter how acerbic he could be, he was still an ally to the crown and a lifelong friend of the late king. But that didn't necessarily mean you had to enjoy his company. He continued. “Y’all gonna hafta find another way overseas, this thing can’t take ya.”
“Let me and the boys decide that.” You said with a little more bite than you needed. Then you addressed Cor, the more tolerable of the two. “If we could find mythril would you guys still take us?”
His hands wormed into his pockets, his chest deflating with a heavy exhale. “Finding it isn’t the problem. We know a place where mythril is in abundance, but the roads leading there, and the site itself, is controlled by the Nilfs. We can’t risk the prince getting captured over a piece of ore.”
“And we can’t risk him not going to Altissa.” You countered before asking, “where is this place?” Your question was swallowed by the tension in the air. Cor held your gaze without saying a word. Unease trickled down the back of your throat. You understood his concern and his duty to protect the prince, but you had your duty too and it was to escort him to Altissa. Was he really going to stand in your way?
“Vesperpool,” came a response at last. You faced Cid, surprised he was the one to break the ice first.  “Even if you managed to get in, the place ‘s a dump. If the daemons or the Nilfs don’t kill ya the ruin certainly would.”
You highly doubted that. “We’ve survived much worse. Give us a few days and we’ll get you your mythril.”
The men eventually acquiesced and you spent the remainder of your time waiting for the boys with Talcott. Once the clock struck noon, you were by the road in time to see the regalia pull up to the dirt covered ground.
Your stomach was in knots for some reason as they climbed out of the car one by one. You had been so confident when you were talking to Cor and Cid, the situation not fully penetrating your brain. But now, you were truly wondering how you and the boys were going to get the ore.  Sure, you and the others infiltrated Nilfheim occupied sites before, but never did you have to deal with both Nilfs and daemons at the same time. Not to mention a crumbling ruins, you sighed, gathering your thoughts before you said, “bad news guys.”
“What is it?” Noctis asked, resting his arms on the dirty hood of the car. You told them what you learned from Cid and Cor. By the time you were done, the nervous energy you felt in your gut became palpable in the air.
Ignis hummed, staring at the ground in deep contemplation. “That certainly puts a damper on our plans.” He mumbled.
“Why don’t we sneak in like we always do?” Prompto proposed.
“Because this situation presents a problem we’ve never encountered before.” Ignis said. “If the roads are indeed under imperial control then we must formulate a plan of entry.”
Prompto shrugged. “Well, maybe Ardyn would let us in.”
Your heart bolted into your throat but you kept your face as windless as you could. You don't want to see Ardyn, at least not this soon. You had a promise to uphold, one that you constantly broke every time you saw him. If you wanted to remain true to Gladiolus then you would have to place distance between you and Ardyn, at least until you were strong enough to reject his advances. Unfortunately this situation wouldn't allow you to do that. No matter how you looked at it, you and your friends needed Ardyn's help. You would have no choice but to share space with him before you were ready.
Ignis scoffed, snapping you out of your thoughts. “He represents a problem, not a solution. We shouldn’t rely on him so carelessly while his intentions remain unclear.”
“Should we just drive up there and check?” Noctis suggested.
“That is if we could find a way around the imperial lockdown.”
Prompto pulled out a folded map from his back pocket. His lips pressed into a thin line as he glanced over it. “Looks like only one road leads there.”
Noctis cursed under his breath, “so what are we gonna do?”
“Ask Ardyn.” You said. The silence burned in your ears as they looked back at you. You ignored the uncomfortable pressure in your belly, your nerves narrowing your throat. “We have no other options.”
After a beat, Ignis shook his head. “Even if he is willing to help us, we have no way of contacting him.”
You let out a whoosh of air as if you had fallen flat on your back.  Your throat narrowed some more in a silent warning. “I do.” Their silent attention had your lips pinching together. “He gave me his number on our way to the disk.”
Sweat snaked down your neck as Gladiolus took a step towards you. “Why would Ardyn give you his number?” His voice was leveled but his eyes were enough to wrench your nervousness to the surface.
“W-well…” Your heated flesh gave way to beads of sweat along your arms and shoulders. You looked down at the ground as though you could find a viable excuse between the grains of burnt orange dirt. “He wanted me to pass it on to Noct.” You said quickly, your stomach churning with the barely formulated lie. “He said he wanted us to have a way to reach him if we needed him.”
You heard Noctis grumble something unintelligible under his breath. “He’s been helping us out so far. It wouldn’t hurt to trust him, at least a little. Besides,” you shrugged, “what other choice do we have?”  You wondered if it was a bad idea to speak in Ardyn’s defense. Your friends didn’t trust him and your boyfriend trusted him even less. But it was like what you thought before, the five of you didn't have much of a choice.
Noctis needed to get to Altissa and the only person who could help you do that was Ardyn. He was always there to help. As of right now, your friends didn't have much of a reason to distrust him. Sure his actions were a little dubious, but his intentions were genuine. Without him, Noctis would have a much harder time reclaiming the Lucian throne. You would all be forced to continue wandering as fugitives until you were either captured or executed.
Finally, someone spoke. “I don’t like the prospect but you are right, Aera.” Came Ignis, “it seems we must place ourselves at the mercy of our dubious benefactor once again.” The others didn’t speak but you took their silence as acquiescence.
      “Noct?”
The brooding prince rolled his eyes and groan. “We have no choice.” He said.
You nearly leaped off the ground when you heard Gladiolus’ deep baritone close to your ear. “Make the call on Noct’s phone.” He instructed. “If it's really for him then Ardyn wouldn’t mind.”
Ignis tilted his head while Noctis handed his phone to you. “Don't you find it strange that he gave his number to Aera instead of handing it to Noct personally?” A zing tore up your spine. Your step brother wasn't looking at you but your fingers trembled as you copied the number into Noctis' phone anyway. A part of you wondered if they would question the explanation you gave, but it was innocuous enough. At least you thought it was.
Anxiety grazed the back of your neck, making the tiny hairs there stand like the fur of a startled cat. You heard Gladiolus say, “exactly”, and it was all you could do to keep your breathing under control. They suspected you. Even Ignis, who was unaware of your history with Ardyn. What would Gladiolus do if the accusation crossed his mind? You bit the inside of your cheek till the flesh smarted in pain. You should've supplied him with another explanation that night, anything, even the most absurd story would've been better than giving him part of the truth. Now he could easily figure out the lies.
Prompto leaned against the regalia, his blond bangs casting his right eye in a heavy shadow. “Well, we aren't exactly trusting of Ardyn. Maybe that's why he gave it to Aera?”
“Doubt it.” Was Gladiolus’ response, he looked at you, a thought you weren't privy to flickered across his eyes. “Once you make that call, delete his number from your phone.”
You nodded your head and brought Noct’s phone to your ear. It ranged for what felt like a million anxiety-inducing years before he picked up. The dread subsided a bit at the sound of his voice. With the way your friends were looking at you, you couldn't show it on your face and kept the call short. By the end of it he told you to wait two days for him to make a few preparations and promised to call back once everything was ready.
You relayed as much to your friends. Their shoulders visibly relaxed but a sort of wariness took residence on their faces, making their brows furrowed at the thought of having to rely on Ardyn no doubt. After a brief moment, Gladiolus unfroze from his contemplative daze and sauntered over to Noctis. “By the way Noctis before I forget. I'm gonna split for a while but I'll be back in a few days.”
“Where are you going?” You asked before Noctis could. Gladiolus didn't tell you he was planning on leaving. But then again, you weren't exactly communicative with him as of late.
He glanced your way. “You'll know once I get back, but before I go I need to talk to you for a minute.” He turned around and paced towards a tree at the other side of the road. Dread stalked your steps as you followed him, making your heart thrash in your throat. Once the two of you were a good distance away, he turned around and folded his arms in front of his chest.
“Did you delete his number like I asked?”
You nodded your head. Silence dragged on as he stared at you with a look you couldn't describe.
He sighed. “You need to be careful around that guy. He didn't give you his number only because of Noct.”
You bit your lip. You knew that wasn't why, he left it after you fell asleep in his arms last night, a fact you hoped Gladiolus wouldn't find out about. Heat rose in your chest when you saw him watching you, scrutinizing you as though he saw your thoughts bubble on your skin.
He was quiet for a long time, it made you feel like you were drowning. It didn't help that you held your breath for as long as he held his silence. Finally, he said, “is there something else going on?”
Your stomach dropped to the ground. “W-what? NO! What makes you say that?”
His frown deepened. “You looked like you were gonna be sick.” He said.
Closing your eyes, you forced the nauseating dread from your stomach, balled it up, and shoved it to the back of your mind. “I just…feel stupid that I fell for it. I didn't think about any other…intentions he could've had.” Gladiolus drew you into his arms. His heartbeat pummeled your ear and you felt that sickness crawl up your spine when he kissed your forehead.
“It's because you see the good in people.” He said. “It's one of your best traits, but don't let someone like Ardyn use it against you. He's up to something and we all gotta be careful around him, including you.” You let his warning roll over you like the first glimpses of sunlight. He didn't reveal anything new. You knew what Ardyn's intentions were and his desire to shape Noctis into the king the gods intended him to be. It was a revelation you kept to yourself. You wondered if your friends would warm up to him if they knew. Possibly not, he did cause the fall of Lucis and the death of the former king.
There was no forgiving that. Even more so his feelings for you…and your feelings for him. Gladiolus pulled away from you and smoothed his hand over your hair. “Watch your back, alright?” He said. “And try not to miss me too much while I'm gone.”

Hello ❤️ 20+ // Female // Looking for Long term Naruto and Final Fantasy 15 roleplayers // i am endlessly searching for roleplays about
Naruto x Sasuke Sasuke x Sakura Itachi x Sasuke
Noctis x Luna Noctis x Gladio Noctis x Prompto Noctis x Ignis Noctis x Ardyn ships with me writing as Sasuke and Noctis. i am a big fan of canon setting, canon divergences and alternate universes. i myself don't have many triggers and i would gladly respect my writing partners limits. the darker is better for me ~ though i dont mind tooth rotting fluff too. i do love ooc chatting, sharing fanarts and musing about out ship and anything really. such things keep me interested in the roleplay.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE , let me know if you are bored, if you think our writing isn't compatible anymore or if life happens and you need to take care of things. i do understand life happens as i have a hactic schedule and sometimes i dont want to write at all but i would really appreciate if you tell you are going to be offline for awhile. i will do the same.
like this and we can discuss more. ❤️❤️❤️

First Light - an IgNoct one shot
Title: First Light Fandom: FFXV Pairing: IgNoct (Noctis Lucis Caelum x Ignis Scientia) Rating: Mature (Established Relationship - NSFW - Making Love - Feels and Angst - Minor Angst with a happy ending - Ep Ignis V2) Word Count: ~2,425 Prompt: Their moments after daybreak in the alternate ending
Summary: Noctis returns from the Crystal, and sets out to finish the fight with his friends by his side.
A/N: Here is my gift to amula6812 over on twitter for the @ignoctgiftexchange. Please enjoy!
---
Wood crackles as little sparks of fire leave the pit, the fire continuing to burn, their only source of light in the immediate area. Noctis can smell the fire, feel its heat, feel it providing warmth in this never-ending night that he’s awoken to. The smell of the fire is comforting - that smell can never change, no matter the circumstances. He may have been away for a long time, but smelling this fire - it takes him back to what brought them here in the first place.
Turning his head, he sees the tent nearby, the runes glowing as they’d made camp just outside the gates back into Insomnia. Tomorrow is going to be tough. Tomorrow is going to be the day he’s been both looking forward to and dreading at the same time.
Tomorrow, this all comes to an end.
But not the way the Astrals have told him it has to end. No. He refuses to believe that the only way out of this is through his own sacrifice. While he isn’t afraid to die, he doesn’t feel that that’s a fair fight and the only outcome to this madness with the first Lucis Caelum - Ardyn.
He grabs a stick and pokes at the fire, not yet ready to go to sleep. He has too much on his mind. Looking over at his old home, there isn’t much to see thanks to the everlasting night. But he knows that it’s there, and he knows that it’s time to go and reclaim their home. He should go to sleep, but it evades him, as he’s too anxious about what’s to come tomorrow. Plus, he’s been sleeping for ten years. If there’s anything he doesn’t want to do right now, it’s sleep.
“You shouldn’t be out here.” Noctis turns his head, and sees Ignis has left the tent and is coming over to sit near him. “You’re supposed to be asleep, Your Majesty.”
Noctis turns his head away, wanting to hide his smile as it seems like it’s in bad taste, considering what they’re about to go through. “You know why I’m not in there, Ignis.”
“Yes, I do.” His longtime companion sits down next to him. It’s been go go go since he’s returned from the Crystal, and while he’s been hoping to have a moment alone with his Adviser, this isn’t how he pictured it would be. As if sensing his thoughts, Ignis stands up and offers him his hand. “Come with me.”
Following him takes him to the area where they keep their chocobos. Ignis hops onto his, and Noctis decides that sure - a night run would be better than staring at the fire, going over each and every scenario on what may happen in the fight tomorrow. He clicks his heels against his chocobo, and they take off, heading back towards Longwythe.
They come to a stop at the motel, Noctis looking at Ignis who isn’t meeting his eyes but he doesn’t have to. Noctis hops off of his chocobo, tying his riding companion to the post, and then follows Ignis to the motel, where he pays for a room and then leads Noctis to the end of the building, entering their favorite room at this particular Three Z’s.
Ignis points to the single bed, to which Noctis gives a firm nod and heads to sit on the edge of it. Ignis kneels down in front of him, and painstakingly begins to undress him. First, his shoes are removed. Next, his socks. Noctis stays still, his breathing becoming a bit more labored as he feels the touch of Ignis’ fingers on the black button up shirt he’s wearing. It’s been so long since they’d done this part of their routine, it almost feels like the very first time.
Lips brush against his jaw, Noctis tilting his head back as Ignis helps to push his upper body down onto the bed. “Relax, Noctis.” Ignis’ voice sends a thrill through his body, his hands curling into loose fists as he struggles to do as he’s told. “It’s me. No one else is here to bother us.”
“I know.” The words come out in a quiet whisper. But he knows that Ignis has heard. “Ignis, I…”
A finger touches his lips. “No. Not right now. Later.”
Noctis nods his head, and feels Ignis’ lips touch his chest, kissing a pathway down to where his pants are still on. Ignis soon takes care of that, leaving Noctis as naked as the day he was brought into this world. Noctis stares at his lover, who takes off his own clothes and then returns to where Noctis is laying on the bed. He wants to keep his eyes open, wants to stare at the man who’s made his days so much happier throughout his life - he’s afraid if he closes them, then this will be it. And he doesn’t want that.
Ignis’ palm cups the side of his face, his fingers brushing his beard. Facial hair. Facial hair he never knew he could grow until he was out of the Crystal, and felt it on his face. The facial hair that now hides the fact he no longer looks the way he looked before going into the Crystal. How time has done its number on him in the only way it knows how. It feels strange at first, but then he slowly grows to like it as he feels Ignis’ breath against his lips, unaware of when he brought his face closer to his own.
“No thoughts tonight, Noctis.” Ignis whispers. “Only you and me.”
“You and me.” He returns, gazing into his eyes. “S-Show me how it was, Ignis.”
“I will, Your Majesty.”
Lips touch his with a soft kiss, but then the kiss becomes more as Ignis seals his lips over his own, and skillfully pushes his tongue into Noctis’ mouth. He moans into the kiss, as Ignis’ hand begins to work him open, well-oiled fingers doing their job of making him ready. And within moments, Ignis is pushing the tip of his cock into his body in one fluid motion, Noctis’ head tossing back with a loud, encouraging moan. They haven’t been intimate like this since the night before he was supposed to get the Hydraean’s blessing, and then, it had been rushed. Hurried. Frantic. As if they knew things were going to change after the blessing.
Now, though - now Ignis takes his time, making sure that Noctis is taken care of. All Noctis can do is moan, pushing his hips down to meet each slow thrust of Ignis’ hips. The bed creaks, the sound of Red Iron Giants can be heard roaming the world outside. But that doesn’t matter. No, what matters in this moment is how good it feels to be connected to his lover once more.
Noctis comes without any warning, but Ignis doesn’t relent. Ignis brings him right back into full hardness, Noctis’s arms now wrapped around Ignis’ neck as he clings to him. He moans his name, over and over, tears spilling from his eyes as everything feels right. Everything feels perfect. Ignis makes him come again, and then he listens to his sweet cries as his lover finds his own peace, Noctis groaning as the steady warmth of Ignis’ release flows against his inner walls.
Ignis pulls out, the two of them groaning in unison at the lost connection, but within seconds Ignis is by his side, returning his lips to Noctis’, showering him with more kisses and touches. He feels at peace, and knows that no matter what happens tomorrow, at least he’s going into this final confrontation with the knowledge that he’s able to be with his lover one final time.
“Tomorrow-” Noctis begins, but then stops as Ignis’ finger returns to his lips.
“No, Noctis. I won’t allow it.”
He gave him a watery smile, overcome with emotion as he stared at him. “Very well, Ignis.” They stare at each other for a few more minutes, and then Noctis closes his eyes and rests his head against Ignis’ chest. “Can I say I-”
“I love you too.” Ignis replies, brushing a kiss against his forehead. “Now sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a very long day.”
“You won’t leave me, will you?”
The fear is evident in his voice. Noctis can’t hide it. He doesn’t want to hide it, as if there is one person that will always know his true emotions, it will be Ignis. Ignis Scientia, who became his best friend at the age of four, who has been by his side through many milestones in his short life. Ignis, who held him as he cried about his first crush in school, and who kissed away the sadness of when Noctis couldn’t go to the first dance in high school because no one had asked him. Ignis, who had held him close after the death of his father, making love to him to remind him that he will be there for him.
“Never, Your Majesty. I will be with you, no matter what.” Ignis holds his gaze, Noctis feeling the truth coming through loud and clear. “Now, sleep. We’ll head back to camp early in the morning.”
Noctis closes his eyes and does fall asleep for a few short, blissful hours. The warmth of Ignis’ body next to his has always made it easier for him to sleep, and tonight is no different. When they wake, they head to the shower and take one together, finding the time to share a few more intimate moments together before their long day has to begin.
Back at the campsite, both Gladio and Prompto are awake, drinking coffee around the fire. “Everything okay, Your Majesty?” Prompto asks, as Noctis sits down with them.
“Everything is perfect, Prompto. Are you ready to head into Insomnia?”
“Let’s go kick Ardyn’s ass!” His best friend declared, making Noctis smile. Yes, today would be the day that they kick Ardyn’s ass, and make him pay for what he has done to their lives.
Insomnia is bleak. Noctis wants to cry as he sees the state that his former home is in. But knowing that if he puts an end to Ardyn’s life, then this will take away the daemons is a comforting thought. The day is long, as they come under attack over and over. But his friends hold him up as they make their way to the Citadel, where Ifrit is waiting for them, waiting to show them the true power of Ardyn Izunia.
The fight is difficult. But with his friends to help him, Noctis finds the strength to go on the offense attack. They make quick work of Ifrit as a team, and rather than go alone to face Ardyn, he turns to his friends and stares at each of them. “I know you may not think you’re ready for this fight, but you are. Come with me, and let’s end this together.”
“Yes, Your Majesty!” All three of his friends reply.
Ardyn isn’t easy to defeat. They wind up taking the fight from the Citadel out to the streets down below, his friends one step ahead. Ignis is constantly healing him, shouting at him that he can do this. Gladio is blocking each blow from Ardyn with his Shield, yelling at Noctis to finish the job. Prompto is shooting his guns, making Ardyn dance as Noctis swoops in from behind and unleashes his Armiger attack at the best moment possible. As his Armiger attack hits Ardyn, he watches as the first Lucis Caelum meets his end, the black ichor coming from his eyes now disappearing as his body is lowered back to the ground, the final fight over.
They won.
Together.
He approaches the former first King of Lucis, and sees Ardyn has a smile on his face. “Thank you, Noctis.” Ardyn continues to smile as his body disappears in the wind, the magic that had been keeping him alive for two millennia now gone.
“Noctis.” He turns to look at Ignis, who is pointing towards the east. “Look.”
The first rays of dawn can be seen cresting over the horizon, the first time in ten years. Noctis steps closer to Ignis, and then feels his knees begin to weaken. Ignis catches him before he can fall, his arms around his body as they both kneel on the ground. He can hear both Prompto and Gladio sobbing, and while he can feel his own cheeks damp with tears, he can’t hear himself crying.
“We did this.” Ignis speaks softly into his ear, as they continue to watch the sunrise together for the first time. It reminds him of the first time they’d stayed up all night, sitting on the roof of the Citadel to watch the sunrise together. But this - this is a defining moment in both of their lives. “You did this, Noctis.”
“You guys were a big part.” He hiccups a sob, his tears now flowing freely. “They told him I had to die. They said that to bring the sun back, I would need to die with him. They were wrong, Ignis.”
“They were.” Noctis turns towards him and falls into his arms, crying hard as Ignis hugs him close. “You did what needed to be done, Your Majesty. Now the world can heal, and we can live our lives.”
He clings to Ignis, the very essence of his own love pouring out through each sob that wracked his body. The world is getting brighter by the second, and by the time the sun is fully shining down on them, he is surrounded by his close friends. His friends who had set out on one journey, and wound up on a very different path than what they’d set out on.
“You guys are the best.” He stares at each of his friends, smiling as complete happiness consumes him. He reaches for Ignis, who comes without a second thought, and the two share a kiss as the sun kisses their skin, bathing them in its warmth for the first time in a very, very long time.
It would take a long time to get the world back to how it used to be, but Noctis doesn’t care. What matters most is that he’s still here; the Astrals were wrong. With the strength of his friends, they had returned the light to the world of Eos. Reaching for Ignis’ hand, they all stand together, his fingers clasped with Ignis’ as they stare at the rising sun; together, as it is meant to be.

Hi! Please :)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ooooooh… YAY! Ok, ok… so I have one fic currently for FFXV… BUT I also have 2 more that I’m wanting to start so, as you are my first ask, and because you sent me so many stars… I’m going to talk a little about those too ☺️💙😉
A Tall Glass of Red Wine - When I found out that Ardyn’s ability to alter his appearance to look like other people was something he did quite often, I immediately had an idea to use it in my fic! He begins to have suspicions about the reader’s identity so plays a trick on her, making her think someone has come to rescue her, when in fact it is him… an unlikely person reveals the truth to the reader 😉
Currently Untitled OC x Ignis Fic - This is going to be slightly Canon… some events will still happen, but not all of them, and my OC is going to be a twin sister to Gladio (still need to decide on a flower name that sounds good) there will be other relationships happening in the background one of which being Cor x Drautos, Titus is NOT Glauca! (I have an explanation for that in my head ready to write) I have quite a few ideas for this one, I’m excited to start it.
Currently Untitled OC x Drautos Fic - This one is completely AU… again I’m not having Titus as Glauca in this fic, he is just Captain Drautos! He and the OC meet when he leads a battalion of Kingsglaive to Galahd to help escaping refugees get out, she had been caught in the cross fire and was injured. Once in Insomnia she joins the Glaive and things escalate from there 😉
The link to the ask meme can be found here ☺️
