hey dude! What's up :)) been just a little since l've said something
Initially, this is me saying thank you and goodbye
This isn't supposed to be a weird pity story, so l'm so unbelievably sorry if it comes off that way, lol.
When I began reading your work, I was enamoured with fiction because of personal issues (as many usually are, honestly, I know I'm one of god knows how many people trying to run away from life for just a second with fanfics or media in general). I don't know if I will ever be able to communicate this properly, hell, this will even be unbelievable funny or dramatic but I need to get this across because it's coming from a genuine place. Your stories and work thus far has brought me comfort, immense heaps of it, and even still when I deal with things that feel out of reach or too much to actually face head on I find myself wandering back to syg or just your blog in general
I mean this, from my entire heart, thank you and thank Bee. A million times thank you, for making that one silly silly stupid piece of fanfiction, because oh my god it got me through some major stressful hardships within my life for the past 3 years.
I am leaving tumblr, however I’m aware I have submitted asks with my actual accounts before, so you'll likely be able to see they're still gonna be up. I'm just deleting tumblr the app instead of my account, but for other social platforms they will be deleted properly (such as quotev) so I won’t be indulging in much reading anymore when it comes to fanfics and such lol
I don't know if I'll come back, if I do I likely will not be back for long or to be as active as l've been because of the toll social media’s taken. So even as ridiculous as this feels, to tell someone I’m simply a fan of and barely truly know, that their fanfic of murderers and their love story with my self insert kept me pushing through a lot of tough days, I genuinely just had to.
I needed to thank both you and your partner for the work you've both put out. I still have that smiley pin I’d made, and I will cherish what you made quotev have been for me ( I literally found out about the website during early or late 2020 I can barely remember, then later found your fic, I was DEEP DIVING into that shit LMAO )
I hope whatever happens for you and bee in the future is only good, and I only will wish nothing but the best of luck with everything man.
feel free to post this (idk what it’s called but when you publicly reply lol) or not, as long as you read this it’ll mean lots to me !! >:))
your coolest weirdest ticci toby fan whose also named toby, 🐚 annon
I always struggle to convey gratefulness for messages like this and readership- especially repeated readership. My life would be different if it were not for comments and messages egging us on to keep writing from syg to ho1c. While it's easy to say that writing is solely out of passion for the craft there is also the drive to share something with others. Hearing those others loud or quiet as a favorite- does push us forward when we have no motivation or desire to work. That drive has made us closer as a couple, better thinkers, and a halfway decent writing team. I thank you and all the others who send us stuff even if it's shit post asks I never answer because I like having them in my inbox like a personal horde of platonic Valentine's. I like keeping the pieces you give me to myself sometimes. I know it may seem like I'm ignoring you but I find genuine comfort in these messages. That there are so many. That they are so varied. That we have reached beyond our shut-in existence to touch the lives of others.
I find myself wondering where an anon has gone when I do not hear from them in awhile. I wish them well. I wish them better standards than us.
Maybe we'll meet again someday space cowboy. If you're ever back in town feel free to shoot me (a message).
Thank you for reaching out. Thank you for reading. I wish you peace and love and good books.

My Immortal by Tara Gilesbie (aka xxxbloodyrists666xxx) (community typeset by @renegadepublishing)
Until My Feet Bleed and My Heart Aches by @kazliin (typesetting by @ziezie13 <3)
QOTD answers under the cut (and these are copied directly from our DW post, just with added tumblr @'s!)
Tumblr media
1. What does Renegade mean to you?
Renegade has, in all honesty, probably changed the course of my life! That's not hyperbole--it's had such a huge influence on my hobbies, my friendships, my academic trajectory, even my career. I was still in undergrad when I found ASH's post on fanbinding, and I was very lost as to what the next steps would be. And like so many others experienced, the pandemic only made things even murkier and more isolating. Then I found ASH's manifesto in June 2020, worked up the courage to join the Discord in July 2020, and found a community of like-minded weirdos who were just as passionate (if not even more so!) about their favorite stories, and a craft that I fall a little bit more in love with every day (well, most days. fuckin printers man XD). I wrote my honors thesis thanks to Renegade; I've made lifelong friends thanks to Renegade; I have my current job, in a field I love, thanks to Renegade. (My first Rocky Horror Picture show at Havencon 2022? All thanks to Renegade :D) This really feels like my forever fandom home-- even when I jump around from fandom to fandom, there's always a wonderful and supportive community to fall back on. In short, I really love it here, I'm so pleased with what we've done so far, and I can't wait to see where we go! ❤️
2. Favorite Fic
As everyone else who answered this, this question is IMPOSSIBLE. However, if you put a gun to my head and told me to answer right now, I'd have to say Tell Me About the Big Bang (my binding of it here!) It's one of the fics that has touched me most deeply and which has probably had the greatest influence on my writing. It was one of the first fics I'd ever bound, and I really wanted to rebind it to see how far I've come!
3. One thing you'd like to learn more about
GOD SO MANY THINGS. Backing! Headband techniques. Chisel trimming. Edge gilding. Tiny books. More advanced Cricut techniques. More cohesive and professional-looking graphic design. This hobby is really a dozen hobbies in a trench coat, and there's so much to explore.
4. Paper!
For my textblocks, I use 20 lb. cream Hammermill paper! I order it in 11"x 17" and get it cut in half for short grain, like a lot of other folks at Renegade. Recently I've started experimenting with quarto-sized Legal (8.5"x 14")and fell in love. I also want to try a bunch of the other paper that folks have suggested (looking at @robins-egg-bindery Mohawk Via o.o). For my endpapers, I usually use scrapbook paper from those scrapbook paper packs you can get at Michaels and Joann's (and when they're on sale...WOOF)
5. Cloth!
DUO BOOKCLOTH MY BELOVED. God I wish I'd gotten in on the Renegade group order - but ah well. Big fan of making my own though! There are just so many options to choose from, so it really expands what you can do (again: a dozen hobbies and crafts in a trench coat)
6. The Glue War
LOVE me some PVA! I know that it gives you less time to do things, but I get impatient XD. Plus it's cheap and easy to find and ready to use right out of the bottle, which is great. I've tried my hand at making starch paste + PVA with very mixed (ha!) results, although I had a wonderful time with some methyl cell that @simply-sithel gifted me at Havencon last year <3 So mayhaps will have to buy more of that for a future project!
I also love my Cricut Explore 2, Charlotte! She holds up very well, although I think she's due for a blade refill soon. I've just been setting my pressure higher and higher LOL
7. Machines
Love my Epson ecotank! I recently bought it--for the first two years I was going to my local print shop because the quality was great and I had a discount card. Unfortunately the discount card eventually expired, so I decided to bite the bullet and get my own printer. I really love it! I didn't want to have to deal with laser and printing in color can get pricey--the cartridges are just so goddamn expensive, although I do think laser prints in higher quality. Mayhaps a future purchase, because I'd really like to experiment with foiling!
8. Favorite binding technique
Ooh this one is interesting! I know which part of the process I enjoy the most, which is sewing! Kettle stitch my beloved. ALTHOUGH I am a sucker for the French link too--it's just so pretty! And we just had a wonderful workshop put on last week by @queercore-curriculum on their...embroidered binding/long-stitch binding (??? I don't know if there's an official name for it yet), which I LOVE. Glueless bindings are SO cool and I would love to experiment more with them.
9. Your best tip/trick
Ooh! Hmmm...I'd say: never bind while you're super tired/hungry LOL. I've made many a preventable mistake very late at night because I wanted to get something cased in or glued before bed when I probably should've waited till morning XD That being said, on the flip side I think you should never be afraid to experiment! Go hog wild!!! Use those glitter pens!! Try out that fancy silk for your endbands!! Try that new binding style! And if you fuck up, remember that's okay too! These are handmade objects and those mistakes are proud proof of that, and of your journey as a fanbinder. Stick 'em in the channel on the Discord, laugh and (maybe cry a little XD) about it, and then keep going. tldr; ya live and learn!
10. Favorite Detail
Ooh, this one's hard! I love leaving little Easter eggs in my designs. I'd say my favorite is putting my maker's mark on things! My imprint is Moonham Press (a fun mix of my usernames, chubsthehamster and chubsonthemoon), and the logo includes a little crescent moon. I'd actually been binding for about two years when I finally made the imprint--I used to think that it was...idk, kind of weird to put myself in the book? Like I was taking away from the story inside it. But then I got to thinking--well, hey, I'm the one who made this book, right? If nothing else, putting my mark on it tells someone who may pick it up one day that I was connected to this story. Some conversations with some folks at Renegade during Havencon 2022 also helped me embrace this. So these days I put my imprint logo in the typesetting, and I also put it on the cover somewhere! My favorite spots are either on the spine, between the title and author name, or on the back cover, in the bottom left corner :D
11. Spines
Spines are the bane of my existence. Haha, jk. They're mostly just tedious, since they're one of the only parts of the process that still require precise measurement (I've cut templates for everything else by now, and I use my guillotine to cut boards, so that goes super fast). For my thicker books I use Bristol board; I actually still use the same sheets I bought in 2020 when I first started binding--I didn't know how much I would really need so I think I ordered four massive sheets which will probably last me for ten years LOL. For my thinner books, I use Davy board, which is a pain to cut but gives the book a really nice board feel. And for my paperbacks, the spine is just the cover, which I make out of kraft paper for the backing + the decorative paper (usually scrapbook paper or something I've designed and printed)
12. Mistakes/Fails
Ooh BOY are there many. My most recent was my experiment with making a hardback quarto letter. I made the hinge waaaaay too small so when I tested the case the textblock was sticking out of it LOL. But I've been pretty lucky--this is only the second case I've had to remake in my time as fanbinder *KNOCKS ON WOOD*, but my printer fuck-ups when I was trying to figure out how to print on legal sized paper (since my printer doesn't duplex) probably make up for the luck I've had in the case department XD. Casing in, though--I think I've had maaaaaybe...two or three case-ins where I was completely happy with the results. A large part of this is because my guillotine doesn't cut completely straight, so my squares are never even LOL. But hey, I'm not getting paid for this, and I'm having fun, so eh.
13. Process
Ooh, interesting! My process has remained largely unchanged--I think the only thing that has really changed is now the frequency at which I print. I used to print at a print shop, so I'd make typesets in large batches--usually two to four books, sometimes more (I think the most I've done at a time is five?), and I'd make a day out of it. Now that I have my printer at home though, I can do things in smaller batches! I can also test print things, so I've been able to get a lot more experimental with my books sizes and my covers. Everything else has remained largely the same--the first book I did I typeset in MS Word, but everything after that I've all done in Affinity Publisher. I typeset > print > bind > take pictures! I really like how different each step is (like I said, twelve different hobbies in a trench coat), so there's always something different to do if I get bored. My favorite parts are probably designing covers and sewing the signatures!
14. Storage solutions
OUGH. I have one of those rollaway drawer thingies for all my tools, a dozen scrapbook paper containers, several large baskets for my vinyl and cloth, a hanging stand for my larger sheets of decorative paper, a standing desk which holds my Cricut and printer (a few of the aforementioned vinyl baskets are under this desk too), another rollaway basket thingy that holds my printing paper and my press (also under the standing desk), another desk which holds both my two guillotines and cutting mats (and under that desk are all my scrapbook paper containers and Cricut mats), and a final third desk where I keep all my sewing stuff and where I do my typesetting and other sitting-down parts of the process. And of course my shelves for all my books! This doesn't really give a sense of where everything is, but it's actually fairly organized, and for the most part I know where everything is (except for my FUCKING bone folder god that thing is always ending up in places I do not remember putting it XD)
15. Your Workspace
Ah, see my answer to 14! I'll probably upload a photo here later XD
16. Dust jackets and covers
Oooh, I've never made a dust jacket before--I don't think my printer could handle the wonky paper size that it requires, but they look really cool and I'd maybe be up for making one someday! And covers! Both my greatest love and my greatest enemy. They're super fun to design, but this is one part of the process that always feels like an uphill battle for me! There are so many skilled and talented folks in Renegade with GORGEOUS covers, and it's always a mix of being incredibly inspired and getting some design envy--but either way it's very motivating to keep me out of my comfort zone and to always keep trying new things. I use decorative paper and scrapbook paper mostly for the base material (although I've begun experimenting with designing things digitally and printing them out on Epson matte presentation paper), and then the rest is fuck it, we ball. I usually design the cover last, so I have an entire typeset and title page already when I begin, which makes things a little easier since I have an already established aesthetic to work with. My font selection is kind of determined by how small the text for the title/author name is, since my Cricut isn't great at cutting super small sizes (Times New Roman, funnily enough, is one of the only fonts that it can do at smaller sizes LOL so a lot of the text on my covers/spines are in TNR). I'm excited to keep improving and experimenting in this area!
17. Published inspiration
Ooh!! This one's fun--when I first began making my Master pages in Affinity publisher, I literally grabbed the first few books I saw on my shelf and said 'alright, this looks good' and haven't looked back since LOL. Those books were Vintage's editions of Toni Morrison's novels, Picador's Gilead by Marilynne Robinson, Vintage's edition of Willa Cather's The Song of the Lark, Fall River's omnibus editions of Shakespeare and Sherlock Holmes's works, Penguin Classic's Deluxe edition of Jane Austen's novels, and a few others that I can't remember. I looked at all these books, found what they had in common (for example, a simple title page before the decorative title page, the use of a single graphic or design at the beginning of each chapter, etc.) and went with that! I don't usually take inspiration from specific books, EXCEPT for a project I'm currently working on which I'm super excited about :3 More TK here eheh (ADDITION 3/7: I was talking about Maybe sprout wings here LOL)
18. Illustrations
FANART MY BELOVED. I LOVE including fanart in my books, because it's such a lovely demonstration of the communal nature of these stories and it's so fun getting to collect all the pieces. For free use graphics my favorite sites are Adobe Stock images and Heritage Library. Heritage in particular has a beautiful selection of free vintage graphics packs that I've used for years now. And very occasionally, wingdings fonts will have something I really like XD
19. Favorite tool
Despite my gripes earlier about always misplacing it, I ADORE my bone folder. It's a funky lil dude and it makes all my edges nice and crisp! I can't wait for the retreat bone folder fufu :3 Also a very big fan of my guillotine, which despite its flaws makes my life a hell of a lot easier in the long run, as well as my presses, which were handmade by my dad and do their jobs very well (squiiiiiiish)
20. Favorite part of the binding process
Oooh, this one's fun! I really like the actual construction of the book--sewing sigs is always relaxing and has been one of my fave parts since the very beginning. Recently I've started to really enjoy designing covers, especially if there are a lot of physical elements (like layering scrapbook paper or playing around with Mod Podge).
I had the absolute privilege to hold @clovenhoofbindery's copy of Away Childish Things at Havencon last year. Literally every book Space makes I fall in love with, and her designs are a HUGE inspiration for me. Everything from the typesetting to cover design to physical construction--I lose my marbles every time.
21. Inspo: The binder that inspired you!
Ohhh this one's so hard! Literally every time I check the #show-off channel in the Discord I'm struck by so many beautiful books. I'm going to cheat and name a few people here, but this list is by no means comprehensive and doesn't even begin to cover everyone I could name.
Everything @pleasantboatpress binds is just so beautiful. Their color choices are always inspired and their headbands make me want to cry! Their bind of Unconditional in particular had me foaming at the mouth.
The quality of everything @zhalfirin-binds makes, likewise, always blows me away. Her books are so polished and professional, and her photos make me feel like I'm in a museum when I'm trawling her blog for inspo!
@simply-sithel's tiny books are literally the coolest things ever! I'm still working my way through the Binderary vids and I can't wait to get to hers. Six plays with form in mind-bending and truly innovative ways, and her blog is wonderland of tiny and fantastical book creatures.
@teleportbooks's binds are the definition of classy and refined. They're so good at designing their books according to the contents of the fic--their binding of Thirty-Three Lashes in particular is just the best design centered around fic content and title I've seen. Their designs always make me melt a little when I see them!
@no-name-publishing's endbands are to DIE for. Like fr I am in awe every time!!! And Kam's cover + title page designs are a huge source of inspo for me--forever in love with this bind of theirs, with the beautiful painted cover + matching endpapers T_T
And of course!!! I (and everyone else) wouldn't be here without our beloved leader, @armoredsuperheavy. He's the first binder that ever inspired me, and he continues to do so today!
22. Inspo: The fic that inspired you!
My original answer was also my answer for 27 ("First bind"), but I'm gonna say something a little different here! I usually know pretty quickly whether I'm interested in binding something, but very rarely has a fic gotten me hook, line, and sinker the way @that-banhus's King of Infinite Space did. Like, from the first line I was like "oh god I need to hold this one." And eventually I did! :3
23. Author spotlight: Someone you've bound
AHHHHHH this one is so hard too! I've bound a good number of authors over the years, many of whom are my dear friends, and to spotlight only a single one would be impossible. So I'm just going to poke @dodici12, whose killugon fic See You Upside Down is one of the best killugon reunion fics ever in my very humble hamster opinion. Hiiiii Tessa ilysm <333
24. Author spotlight: Someone you'd like to bind
OOOOOH. Many, many fics are in my queue. I'll keep them to myself for now, since I prefer to ask for author permission via DM, but atm I have my eye on a few Good Omens authors whose work I adore!
25. Favorite bind by you!
THIS ONE IS SO HARD AJLSKDJF. I love all my babies so much and I'm proud of what I was able to accomplish and what I learned from each of them. However, if you put a gun to my head and asked me to choose right now, I'd have to go with my most recent bind of Maybe sprout wings by @moorishflower. I'm really pleased with both its construction and particularly the curation of its contents, which includes the work of nearly a dozen people. It was my attempt at capturing the communal nature of fanfiction's creation and dispersal, and it was also my Big Project this Binderary. I'm ridiculously fond and proud of it!
26. Favorite bind by someone else!
THIS ONE IS SO HARD TOO HELP. Okay this is only one of my many many favorites, but dragging Space back out here again to say that her bind of Away Childish Things permanently altered my brain chemistry. Like, the cutout!!! The patronuses!!!! The title page cutout???? THE KEY??? Again, I held this book in my hands IN PERSON last year and I'm still not over it. The quality of the work is absolutely bonkers crazy incredible and I think about it Often.
27. First bind
The very first fic I ever bound was On Stranger Tides by @theroyalsavage. It's still one of my favorite fics ever today--it has the perfect blend of action/adventure, romance, humor, and fantasy. It gives me the good ol' "roaming the high seas with found family and magic and pirates" ache. It holds a very special place in my heart!
FINAL THOUGHTS
28. Latest bind
See 22! But for funsises, I'm also ridiculously fond of the binding before that, of @aboxthecolourofheartache's fic The Politeness of Princes, because I got to do lots of fun arts and crafty things with the cover!
This was my first year doing Binderary, and I had such a blast! It's so crazy seeing how far Renegade has come, from a little Discord for book shop chatting (ASH mentioned in one of the talks how it was just called, like, "Bookbinding Discord" at the beginning LOL) to now. We're well on our way to a proper organizational structure, with several yearly events, in-person meetups, and thousands of members all over the world. And we have so much more planned! It feels truly special, and I'm so grateful to everyone who makes this possible.
Okay!! That's all from me for today, folks. If you made it this far, thanks so much for reading! <3

🥑☁️🐝🎨 please.💜
🥑 ⇢ you accidentally killed somebody, which mutual(s) do you text for help?
I'd get in touch with @cha-melodius for her anatomical knowledge (y'know, maybe I can resuscitate whoever it is?) and @happiness-of-the-pursuit for his legal expertise, in the likely event that the resuscitation doesn't work.
☁️ ⇢ what made you choose your username?
You know, I've had this username since about 2010, and I honestly can't remember the backstory. I'm fairly sure it has something to do with some sort of arts and crafts project and then-untreated ADHD, though...
🐝 ⇢ tag your biggest supporter(s) and say one nice thing about them
This might get long, so I'll come back to this one and toss it under a jump. 🤣😅
🎨 ⇢ link your favourite piece of fanart and explain why you like it
You know, prior to the latest RWRB zine being published, I wouldn't have been able to narrow it down to just one, but this JC Leyendecker-inspired piece by @artofobsession is possibly my favorite piece of fanart that's ever been created. It's just -- even nearly a month after it was first posted, it causes beauty aggression in me and I just want to bite it because it's so pretty and glowy and ethereal and lovely and they're just so blushy and so into one another. It's the first fanart print I've ordered in years, and it's going to go on my wall of ephemeral pretty things with my Lindsay van Ekelenburg art and my various tarot card prints from Kickstarter decks.
[Send me emoji from the Writers Truth & Dare Ask Game and I'll answer the corresponding questions!]
Aight, back to 🐝 ⇢ tag your biggest supporter(s) and say one nice thing about them
I mean, obviously I'm tagging you first, @ad-astra13, because you're the Most Excellent of Doc Gremlins and your flailing in my Google Docs has been so, so motivating. Your fiber work is really cool and creative! I'm always intrigued to see which project you'll take on next.
And then there's @hgejfmw-hgejhsf, who even with a bunch of stuff going on IRL still takes the time to DM me a screenshot when someone has recced one of my fics, which -- warm fuzzies just everywhere. Val is one of the sweetest, most deeply passionate RWRB fans I have ever met, and her encyclopedic knowledge of all things book and movie have come in handy on like, dozens of occasions in the few months since I've gotten to know her.
@kiwiana-writes and I basically have the same brain in different bodies on different continents, the vibe is so consistent. Half the time I read his work it feels like it could've emerged from my brain instead of his, and now it turns out he's a pretty gifted songwriter too? Incredible, awe-inspiring, iconic, etc.
@artofobsession and I have a Spider-Man meme thing going on where I yell at Hann about their art, and they yell at me about my writing, and it's just a never-ending cycle of yelling. Pretty amazing to consider that I was Too Scared To Say Hi ™️ for awhile there, because I'm a big ol' introvert. Regardless of what Hann's got going on, I've never read an unkind word that's emerged from their keyboard, and they're super well-spoken and yeah, really glad I started making unhinged bulleted lists of art reviews as a way to break the ice, because they're good people.
Speaking of Spider-Man memes, @seanchaidh7 and I have also been Spider-Manning back and forth these last few months. She's created some really, really incredible art for my Big Giant AU, and just genuinely seems like a cool person. I'm happy we stumbled across each other in this fandom!
@duchessdepolignaca03 is one of the best unhinged idea riffers I've met. She deserves at least partial credit for the idea for my RBB fic, because a simple "fic where [x]" message can lead to a thread of dozens (or hundreds) of messages back and forth just flinging ideas out there to further the prompt. Half the time the riff is all that happens, but occasionally, the riff spawns something way bigger.
And there are folks who either I haven't found on Tumblr, or who left Tumblr behind in like 2013 and haven't looked back -- super grateful for everyone who's enabling my weird little brain to do the thing!

Oh.
Oh.
Oh my god.
I truly didn’t know what would shake out with Savvy, if they’d find her or not, who would find her, when, where, how. This was so good. So perfect. The fact that Ellie was with Joel surely put Savvy at ease. He knew just what to say. The fact that truly Ellie was integral since she clocked the snare in the first place.
I have read SO MANY Pedro fan give in the last year. Like a gross amount. Three have made me cry, and I’m not a crier. This chapter, this moment was one. For the record the other two were also yours 🤣
THANK YOU and holy CRAP I want to keep reading!! I know it can feel weird but please consider setting up a Kofi or something. Maybe you can’t use the money but then maybe donate it to a cause you love bc you deserve SOME kind of compensation for the professional quality gut punch beautifully crafted work you deliver, and with some an incredible speed at that 😭❤️
(ALSO I was very concerned knowing Bambi was going to tentatively get with someone else and even knowing it wasn’t going to work I was so scared. But I think it was important she doesn’t just get back with him. She’s been so hesitant and guarded it makes sense her incredibly strong feelings be tested and dang if the proof isn’t in the raspberries that Joel is it for her.)
Hi Bestie!!!!!
I really tried to keep Savvy's fate a mystery so we really felt some of how Bambi's been feeling all this time! But Joel immediately going into girl dad mode with her just... I love him. I love him so much. And Ellie being there helped so much, both because she saw the snare but also because she was basically a walking green flag. This young girl is OK with this man - clearly willing to kill for this man - so he's trustworthy. She was integral to getting Savvy home. Joel's baby saved Bambi's baby and I love them for it.
OMG I'm so happy my writing has made you feel so deeply! These characters and stories mean so much to me and the fact that they have an impact on others is so extraordinary to me. I love storytelling so much, that we can all experience these things together and share in the grief and the love and the passion and the joy.
You're not the first to mention a Ko-Fi and I haven't set one up simply because I genuinely don't need the money? In a lot of ways, I've lucked into a fairly comfortable life (not trying to downplay the fact that I've worked and struggled but I've had a lot of privilege and a lot of luck) and have everything I need, most things I want and a nice savings account. But the donation thing is a nice idea! So I think I'll turn on the tip function here on Tumblr and see what happens with the intent of donating what I get from it. That being said, if something I've written moves you to the point that you'd like to pay me for it, please consider tipping another author who hasn't been as lucky as I have financially. I'm sure they would really appreciate it and I'd love to support other authors vicariously!
And AHH yes I totally get you! I wanted Julie to happen for a few reasons? Mostly so Bambi wasn't just singularly focused on Joel. I don't think that suits who she is as a person and I don't think it would be good for her to do that, either. But I also wanted her to really understand that yes, Joel is it for her. She's never felt this way about anyone else and she never will again and moving beyond that - especially when he's RIGHT THERE - isn't going to happen. She needs to learn how to accept and forgive his past and trust who he is now otherwise she's going to be stuck living without the kind of love she knows is out there. She really knows that now and it's putting her in the right place to really process what happened with Joel. They're so close! They really are!
Thank you so so much for reading and for your kind words, Bestie!! Love you!!

Hey Dook, I really hope the upcoming year brings you nothing but good vibes and a perfect harmony in your awesome art! Your new pieces always make my day, seriously. You're such an inspiration, so dang talented.
Quick question for you: I often find myself stuck when I try to draw in my free time. How do you always come up with such cool ideas? Share your secrets on finding inspiration and drawing as expressively as you do, please!
(´。• ω •。`) Ah, you're so kind. Thank you for the good wishes. I wish you an awesome upcoming year as well.
Tumblr media
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
That's a good question! It's relevant for many fellow artists out there.
SUMMARY: Mix: your passion, your favs, a theme, portfolio and art goals. Power up with your references collection.
In details ⤵️
For me, stumbling onto those bright ideas that really click, started with digging into who I am and what I love.
It's mainly about recognizing the roadblocks and figuring out a fix that fits you. And it's like having a chill heart-to-heart with yourself:
you: I'm stuck. Can't figure out what to draw! mind: Okay. What is your main objective? Work or hobby? you: Feeling a bit rusty. Maybe I should start with something personal, you know, for practice. mind: Got it. First things first, let's jot down your favorite things. Got a list handy? you: Uh, not really. They're all up in my head. mind: No biggie. We can roll with that. It might spark some inspiration. But hey, to spice it up, let's create a visual board of you as an artist. Your focus, your style, your values — everything. Think of it like a moodboard. you: Sounds kinda complex. I just wanted to doodle in my downtime. mind: Trust me, this won't eat up much of your time. It's a breeze, and the result might just be the secret sauce for your future drawings. Start a bit now, pick it up later.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I, actually, aided it further.
All my ideas that wake me up or keep boiling in my head, I write into digital lists (in my case is TickTick app). Because when I see something inspiring (or someone) I can attach a link where needed, or add a custom note with markdown available.
Tumblr media
Then I began to fill up my reference folders. I work on them from time to time with a timer (20-30 mins). In my case, when I focus on character design, I have a collection of styles I want to try (including art from my favorite games cuz sure I want to learn how pro artists do it), coloring and drawing tutorials, educational (anatomy and all that), poses/faces/expressions, fashion, etc. *can be on your device, online drive, or a platform like Pinterest. Each set is not enough on its own. To make it work - combine things. Example: pick a pose, add a face to it, choose something trendy and fashionable, add your favorite colors/items/theme, throw some VFX. Mix and mash, don't be afraid to combine incompatible.
By establishing my priorities, I made lists (yet again, my obsession) of what I want to practice and then added each category in a randomizator to pick for me 3 elements to match and challenge. Here is my approximate plan (WIP). Random color generator (one of many out there)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I trained myself not to take too broad themes and stick to what I want to have in my portfolio (what drives my future commissions) while staying versatile. Takes practice.
I hope it helps somehow. It's something that works for me these days but might change in the future.
Find your own way because no one knows you like you do, so the most comfortable way to resolve an issue is the one that's crafted by you. Believe, your mind can find shortcuts and tips for you if tasked to do so. Don't forget to research and store.

Jace, can I just say that the very first post that you make every day always lifts my mood and puts a smile on my face? It's so evident that you have so much fun on that dear boy, and it's so very contagious. I end up reading almost everything you write, no matter if it's ooc posts, gameplay things, threads, meta, the whole shebang. I just had to leave this here as a little note, in hope it also brightens your day. But thank you. You remain an absolute delight!

The way I frickin screamed due to your ask timing. Considering how much you've made this heartfelt post.
And the peach agenda just happened to be what I posted just mere moments before. FSDAFNDUSINGFs

Let ME be the one to give some good honest thanks in kind for your loving words here Sae. I'm glad that acclimating into the Star Rail side of things have been more solid than I first imagined. It's not too often I join fandoms at the 'starting' mark so to speak, so I expected it to be an uphill battle!
Yet here Caelus was hitting my personal favorite character archetype of golden hearted (and passion strong) delinquents. It was just a framework I personally felt very excited to get into again. As much as I've experimented with characters, character types and giving a wide branch a genuine shot, in many ways it feels like leaning into this vein of character just feels like home irregardless of the RPC I'm in.
Often times whenever you see me hop around here, the first thing I prioritize is having some good fun, in expected or outright unexpected ways. It makes me pretty excited to just interact in general, to make personal character stories through my shared threads alongside of the game's content itself. Being one of the personifications of the Trailblaze, which often means being a guiding force for adventure just-- it hits so many things for me too? I love the as a general premise for rps.
Much as I love my character connections and depths, a world and it's lore, how it mirrors and bounces off the core concept and characters is just part of the formula for me. As it stands, the varied range that Star Rail introduces to me has gradually reignited my vigor to just go and mold some of my own works out here, and hope everyone who come and chills wit hem can have a genuinely good time themselves.
I'm also glad that at some point of the day, it just gives you a fun read. Whether for a laugh or just to ponder something about the series in question, and urge you to also maneuver you own craft of character study into the mix as well!
Genuinely? That's what the hobby is all about for me at the end of the day. I just want to come on and goof off with people, and to curate this particular space so people get the idea they're just hanging out at a table where they can screw around in kind.
Fite me for putting a smile on my face.
@orchideae out here getting a guy in the feels!

Hi, Brimi! What specific passion projects are you working on right now?
hey, good question here's a list!
(list is under the cut for answers)
starting with my writing. i started working on a story called faking It, a long fic, a few small short drabbles or shortfics, advancing older passion fic projects and requests from prompts which are usually short except an ambitious go of a story about fake dating and trauma, very teen movie esque or that was my intentions to play with.
the one i've been a busy bee with in this holiday season with others on the back burner or tinkering at, this is my like baby right now in terms of story. second, i'm doing holiday cards and holiday shopping while watching Christmas movies, eating Christmas cookies and writing this big longfic as some holiday hallmark vibe, home for the holidays heartwarming and fluffiest with some dark degrassi vibes and there you have, where are you now? loosely based on the song by britney spears, where emma is a star of britney, beyonce and taylor and the other pop girlies that is, in this universe. so like the female drake, but pop, upbeat girly anthems and pink pink pink, but her life is far from happy. the title comes from a song of the same album, albiet a deep cut a song that to me, i interpret fit too as if "where are you now?" is a story about someone she's much in love with, but for whatever reason there's nods to this in the story so it's a fitting title to me, because it harps about the grief behind a long love or loved one, but someone they can't shake they're living but they're also lost and they just want to know where they are, so they can feel closure by distance. boom.
it wasn't initally this much thought out, here's an inside story like I'm some episode of MTV cribs and stuff), like where i tell you all about how it came to be but I'll give you a brief synopsis.
taking it back to 2004, when i wrote my rough and i mean ROUGH idea. i used to think lyrics in songs were stories, beyond the music, behind the veneer of entertainment and i crafted and molded the characters with a general story of how they are in adulthood and what led them to the lives they live combined with the choices they made.
a difference with canon is craig and manning, the hosts of this holiday visit, and they all live together like full house the Jeremia-manning-santos household is a very chaotic but loving place to decvibe it. they're happy, frugal, average Canadian homebodies. they both have jobs, drive an escalade and craig has a vintage car in candy apple red with white interiors he keeps under lock and key a stuble nod to Ferris Bueller an 80's film, they all never really flew the coop but joey who plays a prominent grandfather to craig and manny's baby, who is now in 2023, an attractive mashup, a dark cloud sour puss who's been through some difficult times, grappling with grief and depression and headed for a breakdown and a fall from grace, a loss of innocence and a crisis of faith. stuck between a rock and hard place, craig and manny's daughter is unreachable, rebelling and internally screaming, but trying and failing to be 'perfect' for her mother and father, fighting them at every turn. it's my first go at a deeply flawed character who is blunt and honest. who has been through a lot in her life, despite having a loving family, but across the board. she's not popular, looks younger than she is, a late bloomer, innocent and smart, but doesn't apply herself or think much for herself. she is easily influenced by others and spouts out political commentary. She is average academically, nonremarkable, painfully realistic, or an attempt at a portrayal of someone like someone i know.
needless to say, i'm excited. it's something I'm committed too after having some writers block this year, i also was busy this fall and hard at work on even more passion projects. this is something i do before bed, to unwind. i work all day, and then if i have time i do edit and proofread. I'm not an expert or anything, i do the best i can and write what i feel or what compels or comes to me. i could type for HOURS and it doesn't phase me. i know i could use assistance knowing whats relevant to mention, but i think it's part of me and my charm to wordy, but does the job, natural speech trying to be a non partial narration, usually past tense and future stense or present is checked but third person with asides of course descriptive and stuff but that's the HARDEST PART is showing and not telling all the time.
to achieve that i do write montages or asides to achieve or speech or dialogue between characters or heavily imply through tones or describing but i try to make the believability more than canon because this is something i came up with while i wrote on the show BASED account and i toy with things that happen later. so for instance, craig and manny had a baby, but what are they happy now that she's older, no because they are passing ships in the night. unhappy but in a domestic partnership where they coexist but do their own thing, are more like roommates and less lovey-dovey on most occasions. I'm getting off track, but that's that story and I've been dying to talk about it since starting it in October and now I'm reaching the end of it and I'm actually going to miss this story that is a long time coming, almost 12 or 13 years ago i brainchilded this and only now getting to it. i think it's better than my rough draft a lot of changes were made and embellehsed and built upon.
i moved and relocated in mid-october, i've been slowly organizing and its been hard to make time but it's a pleasure to write. it really is. it feeds my need for semma to be happy, so in turn I'm happy and I'm itching to talk about it. my poor semma shipper boyfriend, he loves them, but i think it's because he knows i love it but he does really love them. so that's passion project one.
passion three, is the others such as faking it i mentioned before, is a fake au, where i was initially going with for the emma and jay summer romantic drama i wrote mostly during the pandemic being bored and even creating accompanying art work i vow to see through to my older projects and finish them out. i mean i have no excuse or whatever i should stop starting NEW fics but i am who I am.
passion 4 has nothing at all to do with writing and everything to do with graphic design my second love i love and design things, iykyk but i also like making passion projects like cd covers, alternative movie posters, fliers and online fandom graphics in various styles.
passion projects for example, i'm currently want to make myself a online store not like redbubble but for printables and art related stuff and where i can track commsions for people for paid art. i wanna monetize my art and design skills but its been awhile since college and i feel confident to try again with more gusto. so keep an eye out. my tagged posts are like where that is.
i make a lot of occasion cards in greetings and idk how to launch anything so I'm in the process of the grueling educating research to get my project off the ground and talk to others who are into the same things. i don't want a fandom specific store, multi fandom and interest store. maybe a few show related (another passion) or film alternatives.
cleaning and taking pride in myself has been a game changer, organizational furniture and decorating for both life and for holidayskeep me focused and excited for the day ahead and organization keeps things easy in the morning. so that's a difference, i prioritize and carve out time on sundays or during the week sometimes for maybe an hour to sift through and organize my items and keep things clean.
some ongoing personal resolutions and hopes to achieve or work on long term year round, such as bucket listed for in the new year list of 10 goals i hope to achieve.
continued weight loss goals from last year, making progress with, and managing health and wellness
2. hand drawing/lettering practices to improve
3. coloring more to give me something to do
4. quit smoking, again in 2024! start the holidays (potentially) smoke-free (ambitious, i hope i can!)
5. budget better/manage money and learn the difference of wants and needs, stop treatin' myself so much, because my budgeting needs work!
6. eat healthier
7. design more projects and try to generate interest and exposure in art-based community
8. spend time with friends and family, make time for people and alow to live in the moment
9. build an online presence/website/shop (see 7)
10. continue to focus when it doubt, on mental health self-care practices healthy communication, make good choices in trusting with care✨💌

69. ivy - Taylor Swift
It wouldn't be right to do one of these without at least one Taylor song, so we got pretty lucky that you picked this number! Nice!
This song gets thrown around by a lot of swifties as an example of how good her songwriting has gotten, and I think it is quite a good example, but not really for the reasons they think. One could easily read the lyrics and dismiss her verbosity as pretentious set-dressing; a cynical shortcut to make herself and her songs appear deeper than they really are. I think the way some fans talk about her lyrics invites this kind of reading, but I promise you that indulging in that line of critique is doing a disservice to both the music and yourself.
The story told in ivy is one of conflict and infidelity; the narrator is having a passionate affair with someone else while her loveless, lifeless marriage gathers dust. The poetic language, instrumentation, and tone of Swift's voice all evoke much older forms of storytelling. Evocative stories are a cornerstone of country music, but have fallen out of favor in recent decades, and ivy seems to want to reach back even farther and remind the listener more of Jane Austen than Loretta Lynn (in fact, ivy wasn't out of place when it was used as a needle-drop in the Dickinson series). The melody is dark and tense, as are the dancing arpeggios on the guitar, as she sings verses about the pair being magnificently cursed; drinking her husband's wine and grieving for the living. The tension gets resolved in the chorus, where the melody warms up and she exclaims with relief (the use of "goddamn" feels more profane here than many of her uses of "fuck") that her "pain fits in the palm of your freezing hand taking mine."
The warmth becomes heat becomes fire when we reach a classic Taylor Swift Bridge where she proclaims "So yeah, it's a fire, it's a goddamn blaze in the dark, and you started it." From there, we never return to the tension of the verses, instead riding out the chorus until the end, with the narrator resigning herself to an imperfect life half-loved, crooning "my house of stone, your ivy grows, and now I'm covered in you" as electric guitar peaks its head out of the background.
This one's pretty good.
98. Psycho Killer- Talking Heads
cw: french
I didn't know he was speaking french in parts of this until I played this song in Rock Band 2. I couldn't understand a lot of the lyrics when my parents played Bruce Springsteen tapes so I didn't think this was that weird. I still don't know what the french sections mean, aside from qu’est-ce que c’est, perhaps we'll never know.
Anyway this song is a classic, obviously. The bassline is rock solid but still has enough movement to keep the rhythm fun and danceable despite the slower tempo. David Byrne is an all-time great vocalist and he gives a great performance. I, too, hate people when they're not polite. This is such an obvious choice that you'd think it would be overdone and cliche to use it in movies, and maybe it is, but I still pop for it every time. It's like using Fortunate Son in Vietnam movies, sometimes the obvious choice is the right one.
8. Savior Complex - Phoebe Bridgers
I liked Phoebe Bridgers' first album, but Punisher was an improvement in basically every way. Savior Complex was a literal jaw-dropper the first time I listened to it, coming at the end of a devastating three song run including Chinese Satellite and Moon Song. Some musicians just have an ear for perfect pop melodies. Call their songwriting sophomoric (and you'd be correct), but power pop writers like Billie Joe Armstrong and Rivers Cuomo have always reminded me a bit of Paul McCartney in their ability to craft memorable, joyous, sometimes anthemic hooks and melodies seemingly in their sleep. Another skill of McCartney's, which far fewer are able to replicate, is his ability to write a melody that plays your heartstrings like a fiddle. Truly skilled musicians can tell a story and take you on an emotional journey without words, and Phoebe proves more than capable of that here. And I don't know if you've heard, but she's pretty fucking good at the "words" bit too.
Savior Complex might be my favorite Phoebe Bridgers song, even though there are plenty of others with stronger lyrics. But that melody, man. Those strings. The guitar nervously walking the bass notes around. The way her voice flutters when the title drops. Her breathy falsetto as she pleads that she's too tired, and a bad liar. Other songs got more attention on this album (and they deserve that attention), but Savior Complex is an understated masterpiece in my opinion. Just a gorgeous, gorgeous song. I love it so much.

Trying to work out the fine points still, but I've been thinking that general skill in most everything really can be broken down into two parts:
Technical skills
Creative force
Technical skill is basically the How of a craft. It's knowing how to handle your tools, having the information needed to pursue the craft, and the technique that will get you the results you want.
Creative force is something like the Why or What of a craft. It's the passion that brings you back to learning the technical skills even when you're feeling discouraged by their difficulty. It's the source of the ideas that you want to be able to bring to fruition.
They're inextricably intertwined. Without creative force, you've nothing to apply your technical skills to. Without technical skill, your creative force will by dammed up, and you'll constantly be frustrated because the ideas in your head just won't show up in the world the way you want them to. They're also, and this is important, both learnable, just in different ways.
Everyone recognizes how technical skills are learned: you study how other people have done it, you practice the basics over and over, you memorize information, and (if you're lucky) you have someone who has already mastered the skills to guide you in the process.
On the other hand, we tend to think that creative force is something you either have, or you don't. It pours from the aether into your mind, or it doesn't. Your muse is either there, or they aren't. You're either a creative person, or you're a boring one. This is hogwash.
Creative force, I theorize, comes from two places: experience and courage.
Experience is the process of seeing as much of the world as possible. It comes from practicing standing in other people's shoes, seeing the world through as many different eyes as you can, and watching how other people have solved problems and spun old ideas together into new ones. It's collecting odds and ends of information and ideas and processes and letting them compost in your mind. Eventually, they'll start sprouting new ideas, because that's how brains work. They just need the raw materials to build with.
And these things can come from wildly different sources. Sources that seemingly have nothing to do with each other. Let me give a couple examples here.
I've been writing and reading fiction almost my entire life. The structure of stories and ways of using words that I love are nestled deep in my brain. When I started writing philosophy papers in grad school, those things popped up again. I structure my papers like stories, and I use my words like a novelist. When I teach my students how to write a paper, I always require them to include a section where they detail and respond to at least one serious objection to their position.
"You need to present the other side seriously," I tell them. "No straw-manning. The objection you present should be like the part in an action movie where everything is going wrong for the heroes. You know, when the first heist plan has just gone sideways and the audience is left wondering how the hell they're going to get out of this. But you, the author, already know exactly how they're going to get out of it. When you reveal it in the final act, the audience breathes a sigh of relief."
Another example: I studied fencing for several years. I also dated a series of guys who were serious Magic players. Something about the way you need to time your actions in a bout clicked for me when I realized it's just like the way you have to plan your turns and counters in a game of Magic. Don't press your opponent until you're certain you have everything on deck to deal with their counters. Remember that for every action you take, they get a chance to respond. It's like that.
Courage is what you need in order to take old ideas and spin them together yourself. It's the confidence to try things, even knowing that they might turn out utter shit. It's the confidence that your solution to a problem and your ideas about the world are worth sharing with others. It's the ability to say, "Well I wouldn't have done it that way!" and then doing the thing the way you think it should have been done.
And I firmly believe that courage can be learned. Maybe you need to start out small. You dip your fries in sweet and sour sauce. You wear that outfit that brings together two colors everyone else thinks should never go together. You speak up when you see someone struggling to complete a task that you think you have a better way to do. You fill a notebook with poems that you never mean to show anyone else, and when you get done, you look at it and think, "Hey now, these are pretty cool actually."
Now, I'm not saying that you need to be superbly good at everything you do! If you're content with your level of technical skill or creative force, that's great! Do your thing, then dust off your hands and nod with satisfaction. But if you feel stuck, like none of your ideas are coming out the way you want, or like you just don't have any ideas, or none of them are good enough, you don't need to fall into despair that you've hit the wall and will never get better. You just have more learning to do. And that's ok.

1. at what age did you start RPing?
Tumblr media
8 or 9??? I was still in elementary school and I'm turning 23 in like a month- so it's been a long while.
Tumblr media
11. would you be interested into playing with doubles?
Tumblr media
Absolutely! I think one thing that's really interest about Danny is that he comes from a franchise where there's always multiple g.hostfaces, so I think it's really neat to see how everyone takes his lore and bends it. Same with anyone else on my muse list, d.bd's lore is really up for interpretation a lot of the time just due to the nature of the Entity being a weird cosmic god no one really knows anything about, so lore is just told through memories which do have gaps and it's fun to explore those gaps.
Tumblr media
29. what are your honest thought about your muse’s canon?
Tumblr media
I'm going to be entirely honest and say, I love Ritos world building, but their lore makes no sense no matter how many times they retcon or say everything is cannon, the lore team is just so disorganized they get their own cannon dates mixed up. That and with a lot of lore being told in game through events makes it so you have to find outside sources to read it which makes so pieces inaccessible. I'm hoping the mmo they're developing will keep the lore all in one place instead of scattered, but who knows what's even going on with that at this point.
On the other hand: D.bd's lore may not be nearly as messy, but it's even more inaccessible. You can read all the bios and times you want, but that still won't give you the big picture of what's going on and terms of characters like the Legion it just makes their lore even more confusing. The devs used to do lore Q&A streams every month, but they stopped doing those and even then those would say conflcting information. An example being they said everyone in the Legion is 18 and over then they switched to everyone is 21+, but Susie's school day cosmetic still says she's a sophomore.
That's not even counting characters like Danny where is biography is him reading about his own murders, but if you go to his chapter description on the steam page or watch his announcement video it tells you things about him that should've been in that biography. Tarhos's lore is a mess where they both want him to be this super violent only is having fun when there's blood on his hands and his ears are ringing, but he'll lament to Vittorio about how he hates senseless violence and killing people for other men's egos. It's very messily written for what I can only assume is lore re-writes from him initially being a F.or H.onor chapter.
Oh and the maps have lore. They all do, but it can only be read in the custom games setting menu where you can select maps. Every add on has a quick lore thing that are sometimes really important. Killer powers sometimes have important lore things too, archives, cosmetics etc. etc. everything has something written on it that makes it important lore wise down to how every blighted cosmetic is a thing that happened in lore. And if I remember correctly every cosmetic is something both survivors and killers actually own too. (another Q&A I think)
It makes it really hard to get into and try to piece together what's actually happening in lore vs what's just for fun and I can only imagine how much harder it is for new players trying to get into it since I started playing and I started playing around the time Blight came out.
Tumblr media
36. do you feel similar to your muse in any way?
Tumblr media
I feel like when you're passionate enough about a character you write a bit of yourself into them no matter how much you try not to, so even muses I have that are horrendous of people like Danny or Karth, I can relate to different aspects of them. I too have a love for writing and story crafting and I too also think death customs are really fascinating. They just take those to a whole different extreme of course, but they're both interests I have and enjoy writing about.

Uhm... Hello! Is it alright if I ask for a matchmaking..? I hope you don't mind..!
I'm a Demisexual Biromantic using she/they pronouns. I don't mind being matched with a female, but I lean more on male!
As for my personality, I'm someone who is absolutely in love with art. Whether theaters or a simple drawing, I'm always in awe. Due to this, I've explored, done, and still do a lot of artistic activities. Creative and imaginative, I always have my head up in the clouds. I'm also quite forgetful... Other than that, I guess you could say I cherish the people I hold dear. Once I feel like a certain person and I would have a strong bond of friendship, I'd stick with them. This certain trait of mine also resulted in often being seen as a distant girl from within the crowd. Once my intuition tells me that there's no one I can build a strong friendship with within a certain group, I remain distant and interact only if needed. Though I only have very few friends because of this, I love them dearly (in a platonic sense, of course!) I'm someone who'd do anything to help my friends especially if they're stressed about something. On the other side, I like to tease my friends to the point where they might've wanted to throw me into space—
I am... Very, very passionate, especially with certain hobbies. I like to write, read, draw, act, sing, and do anything that helps my creativity improves. I am most passionate about writing and acting.
My insecurities stem from my passion. As an artist, I often compare myself to other artists and beat myself up when a certain work of mine doesn't meet the standards I've set. This especially applies to any craft of mine made as a gift for my friends. I often find myself listening to songs and wish that my craft is as captivating as a certain song (*cough*GoldenHourbyJvke*cough*)
I don't like it when people I don't consider as close friends, hug me. There are certain physical contacts that I'm willing to do with people, even friends. I find it difficult to stay in a very crowded area. I loathe math.
As for a partner... I guess someone who's willing to be patient with me, someone I can share both lighthearted and deep moments with, and someone who's not afraid to tell me if I've done something wrong.
Take your time! And please take care!
Ahhh tyy!!! Of course I don't mind your requests!!! I hope you enjoy this!! I feel like you're a nice person kjdshfksd
Results!!
》* 。 • ˚ ˚ ˛ * 。° 。 • ˚《
Your fated partner is...Albedo!!
》* 。 • ˚ ˚ ˛ * 。° 。 • ˚《
Argue with the wall, Albedo is definitely a man of culture. By that means he's into art and history/culture. You all share something in common!!
Albedo can and will bring you to a surprise museum/theater date. Getting the most expensive tickets in a show, sitting in the front row- it's all like a dream! Bonus if that's one of your favourite shows.
You paint, draw and write, right? Hooo boy he's infatuated. You all definetely share your past experiences and tips on art.
Whenever you zone out around Albedo, he watches you untill you're back into the reality, he thinks you're cute!!
Despite him knowing you for a period of time, expect for some important meetings he can’t bring you to, he would never separate you with him. Whenever people see you on the streets they will know albedo’s somewhere near.
He’s ok with the amount of friends you have. If you express discomfort or sadness regarding this problem, he just comforts you, saying that it means you have no toxic friends around you. Only real friends stayed with you (like him)!!
From the start where y’all crossed paths, you have him a “shy character” vibe, but when he knows you long enough, your true colours begin to show—
Here’s an example:
“Albedooooooo”
“What”
“If I cut my leg off and use my hand to grab my chopped leg to hit you would it be called hitting you or beating you?”
“.”
“..???”
Albedo has took notice of whenever you say something that involves the hobbies of yours, your eyes twinkles, and proceeds to say something with so much enthusiastic. He finds you suuuuper cute!! He likes you hear you talking about your hobbies.
You love acting? He’s in for giving a shot with you!! If you’re roommates with him, be prepared for an act of “Who’s cooking dinner tonight”. He’ll be dramatically annoying unlike him in real life.
“O my divine archon, please let this little stinky pest in my humble room make me a tummy filling dinner!” And you’ll say back something just as dramatic as his words. “My grateful archons, did you hear what he said? He is not paying respects for another mankind, something that god created! This is utter blasphemy! Please make him do the rightful apologise gift for another mere human just like him!”
It’s a very fun yet enduring memory you cherish so much<33
As you’re not a big fan of physical contact, whenever you give Albedo affections, he smiles so big, and cherishes it for a few weeks or days.
You hate maths? If you’re failing your grades, Albedo’s here to rescue!! He can be your tutor and your friend!! Not so surprising but he always gets an A on Maths.
Tutor!Albedo hehehehehhhe,,, imagine him wearing a pair of glasses and holding a pen, slicing math questions for you, hair tied to the back of his head…ooh, and whenever you got a good grade on maths test, he always rewards you with treating you into a meal!!
·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳BONUS!! -ˏ͛-
He comforts you and tells you that your works are already so good looking, will literally compliment the smallest details you may not even notice in that artwork.
He told you to look at the artworks you’ve completed a year before. You’ve improved so much, can’t you see? If the “past you” saw what you created right now, they would be screaming with joy. It’s a sign that you’ve improved so much, working so hard throughout the years.
He’s suggest you try lowering your standards. Your friends list like what you gave them as a gift! He’s sure they like it! What matters is the effort you put in there. I’m sure they’d like it too if it’s from their friend.
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
Hope you liked it!! <33

Imagine your friends gushing about you the same way you gush over them.
Like, earlier today, I was doing a writing sprint with friends. One of them weaves her expertise into her writing phenomenally. It's that kind of writing where the passion shines through, so when you read it, it's like she's grabbing your hand and running a million miles an hour through a museum of hyperinterest and, by the end of it, you're just kinda standing in awe because "holy shit there's so much I don't know that's so fucking awesome." The other one who was with us is crafting together a framework that actually takes something I know and gives it more freedom and options, optimizing something that I was familiar with and making it reach a whole new level for the purpose of heightened engagement and interaction.
Like. I gushed about both of them to their face. And I'd do it again (and they know it or should by this point).
But then, sometimes, I think "well, shit. I'm not super involved in a niche interest, and all I do is my job and whatever catches my eye. I may not even stick with it for a while."
But then I gotta also remember that if I said that to my friends, they would side eye me so freaking hard, and I have to imagine what they would say. And the thing is, I can imagine what they'd say, because they've said it to many so many times before that their efforts have been ingrained in my head.
I may not be awesome in the way that they're awesome, but I'm awesome in the way that I'm awesome, and my friends have reminded me so often that they love and appreciate my unique brand of 'what the fuck why are you like this lol' that I am finally, finally, finally starting to be able to use it as a "hey. Don't compare yourself to your friends to feel bad about yourself. They'd hate that. Instead, imagine what they would say to you about your skills and interactions with them. Instead, remember the times they talked about you the way you talk about them."
And, honestly, it helps. *^_^*
It's like the "Don't use my voice to give your demons power" but also opposite. "Hell yeah, turn me into your muthafuckin' angel and internal support! I'm going to scream that you got this until you believe it! Let's goooooo!" Internal hype squad that is definitely external if I ask them about it.

Do I really need a blog? |vrankup|
Hey there, fellow digital denizen, It's your best digital marketing agency in dwarka, vrankup.📣 Ever found yourself pondering whether diving into the blogosphere is worth the effort? In this cybernetic age of tweets, posts, and TikToks, does a humble blog still have its place under the virtual sun? Strap in, my friend, as we embark on a riveting journey through the maze of digital musings to unravel the truth about whether you truly need a blog. 🌐
Unveiling the Magic of Blogging 🪄
Let's be real for a sec – the Internet's a wild jungle teeming with possibilities. Social media platforms are the flashy hotspots, video content's the shiny new gem, and instant messaging is the express lane to communication town. So, why even consider a blog, right? But hold onto your cyber-hats; blogs, my friend, are a whole different dimension of digital wizardry. Here's why you might just need one:
Personal Branding & Beyond 🌟
A blog isn't just a cluster of words on a screen; it's your personal brand's epicenter. Your passions, expertise, and quirks come together like a digital symphony, creating a unique online identity. Whether you're a coding whiz, a fashion guru, or a philosophical wordsmith, your blog becomes the canvas where you paint your essence. It's your megaphone in the digital rally, where you stand up and say, "Hey world, this is me!"
Dive Deep, Stay Awhile 📚
Picture this: You're about to explain the intricate mechanics of quantum physics. Now, try fitting that into a tweet. Not happening, right? That's where the magic of blogging shines. Blogs are the red carpet to the world of depth. No character limits, no rush. You can write a novella on the fascinating life cycle of a ladybug or dissect the latest political intrigue. Your readers, hungry for knowledge, will thank you for the immersive experience.
SEO Sorcery 🔍
Ever typed a question into a search engine and watched as the results flowed in? That, my friend, is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) at work, and blogs are the sorcerers behind the scenes. Google loves fresh, quality content, and a well-optimized blog can send your site rocketing up those search results. So, if you're cooking up a storm in the kitchen or coaching folks on life's twists and turns, a blog can be your secret ingredient for Google fame.
Community, Come Together! 🤗
Remember the warm, fuzzy feeling of bonding over shared interests? Blogs can create digital campfires where kindred spirits gather. With each post, you're casting a net, reeling in readers who nod along, share their own stories, and keep coming back for more. Through comments and discussions, you're building a digital family – a tribe that celebrates, debates, and grows together.

Picasso or Proust – Express Yourself! 🎨📖
Blogs aren't just about text. They're your digital playground for creativity. Whether you're a wordsmith spinning poetic magic or an artist using images and infographics to tell your tale, a blog lets you showcase your craft in all its glory. Videos, podcasts, animations – you name it. It's a canvas where you're free to wield your creative wand and leave your mark on the digital mural.
The Digital Odyssey: Considerations Ahead ⚔️
Before you don your virtual armor and embark on your blogging quest, a few waypoints demand your attention:
Time Traveler's Dilemma ⏳
Ah, time – that elusive cosmic currency. Blogging isn't just about weaving words; it's a commitment to consistency. Research, writing, editing – it all adds up. Do you have the temporal treasure to spare? Consider your schedule, commitments, and willingness to journey through the time-space continuum.
The Niche Navigator 🧭
Ahoy, Captain! Setting sail on the high seas of the blogosphere requires charting your course. What's your niche? Who's your audience? A well-defined niche anchors your blog, but be wary of veering into uncharted waters. Too narrow, and you might sail past potential readers; too broad, and you risk getting lost in the digital fog.
Techno-Trekking 🛠️
Welcome to the 21st century, where technological tango is a must. Blogs demand a basic tech skill set. From platform selection to formatting and layout tinkering, you'll be crafting a virtual haven. Fear not, though – tutorials and tech-savvy friends are your trusty guides.
The Marathon, Not the Sprint 🏃‍♀️
Blogging's no sprint; it's an intergalactic marathon. Immediate fame? Rare. Overnight riches? Not so much. Patience, young padawan, is your ally.
Guardians of the Digital Realm 🔒
Beware the trolls, the bots, and the digital dragons! Blogging's akin to leaving a trail of breadcrumbs through the woods – it's best to guard your privacy and security. Choose your digital armor wisely, protect your kingdom, and navigate the virtual landscape with caution.
The Cyberspace Verdict 📜
So, after this whirlwind tour of the blogosphere, are you ready to make the call? Do you really need a blog? The grand answer lies within the circuits of your heart and the chambers of your digital dreams.
If you're ready to carve your digital niche, traverse the landscapes of patience and persistence, and infuse your digital aura with passion, then my friend, the answer might just be a resounding YES. 🚀📝
Catch you later,

please gush about your passions and pastimes!!! I would love to hear about them
ack- im happy you want to hear about them!
Passions:
obvs as y'all know recently and just in gen., i guess, writing- i love crafting worlds and stories where anything can happen and just creating scenes above all else, like getting lost in the details of everything. I love getting lost in my own world and making myself happy as most self-indulgent writers do (and showing off my legitimate skill in a proper form of writing after doing shitpost-y things for so long is pretty rejuvenating, XD). And upon going back to some of my older, posted works and wips, I still laugh at the dumb shit I thought was the best stuff ever and now find myself giving those ideas a refresher like my last writing update, because it's still a legitimately enjoyable read.
i love sketching for similar reasons, but more so to visualize a fuzzy, almost-there idea, usually about fashion. Like recently I re-drafted some outfits for a fic idea I had, in order to make the world and designs make sense in my head. And I redesigned an existing outfit, running with certain themes and embellishments in design. I'm so happy I can churn out simple sketches like that when i really put my mind to it and feel content with the finished product nowadays. I feel accomplished as a hobby artist now and it's all thanks to heavy online research, a few how-to books, and putting effort into one art class. It's the second hobby of mine that I want to be good at, almost as much as my writing. Speaking of, I sometimes draw what I write or dream about because it's that prominent in my head.
Wow i love music guys- ha, but you already knew that *lenny face*
Past times:
I really like playing the simpler games in life- not as much in the vein of it being less difficult or busy, but more so with fewer controls, interesting mechanics, and a captivating style that I can easily fuck around in or beat some levels for a few hours. Bring on the (spider) solitare (only 4 suit sucks ass why do i do this to myself), jewel quest (FUCK YOU CROWS), barbie's fashion show (SINGLE DREAM-), zoo tycoon (fuck guest happiness), and sonic adventure or x-men of course.
MMD vids are v neat, like I know a handful of choreos that are fun as past midnight exercises to get my blood pumping and i get to discover new songs and learn more about other languages at the same time! Also the aph as mmd crack vids are the best whether its them making 'i hate this' or 'yeah im hot shit' faces or being completely into it as they're forced to dance or simply copying a vine. Like, they give me brainrot and serotonin at the same time its so fun. I love seeing all the different outfits for mmd vids in general, too, on top of new covers i never would've known about.
I really love analyzing things in general, actually. It's how I learn most of the things I do and know now, even though it technically causes me to lose large chunks of time because all i'm doing is staring at the damn thing, XD. Sometimes (all the time) I'll look at a gif or vid of a character changing their facial expression as they do/say something and I'll be completely enthralled by it. Something similar happens when I stare at REALLY GOOD artwork. I think it's the technical part of my brain trying to figure out the individual elements which make up whatever that thing is, like what facial muscles are being used to convey that emotion or mix of them, what the character is feeling, how the lighting or shading of the environment or extra details in editing affects said expression, etc. And for art, I'm thinking of the lines, posture, composition, object placement, color palette, negative space, tone, and all that jazz you learn from studying art.
Scrapbooking is a fun pastime for me that's extended from celebratory cards to actual gifts to my personal sketchbooks. It's part of the "creating something out of nothing/seeing what you can create with some basic templates and decorations" kind of mindset. And it makes me happy because I get to be creative and my family members and friends (even my employer) love them as part of their gifts every time and come to expect it from me each holiday, so I'm constantly encouraged to do it in the best way. I've recently kinda gone overboard on using ribbons and charms for the spiral and stickers and washi tape for the actual book itself on my sketchbooks, but I find myself wanting to draw in it more because I did that, lol.
I love rewatching the things I love. I usually have the same commentary about it, but its nonetheless enjoyable. And I never know what new thing I'll discover about it next, even if i've seen it over 50 times and only have it on as background noise and don't actually watch it. And yes, I will easily let something play on repeat at least that many times in my lifespan as well (like, a full day of it, at least).
wow i love staring at characters im attracted to for hours on end can i get a HUYEA-

Tell me about Dr Leech and Dr Myrrh, please?
HELL YEAH!!! thank you for asking :3
so originally dr charlotte "leech" (she/they) was an oc i wanted to use as a main character for a sci-fi semi-apocalyptic romance comic with her colleague, naomi "dove"(she/her). however im not great at writing scifi so i scrapped that and now theyre just two gay ass scientists pining after each other (still set in a somewhat strange and fantastical world tho because i dont care about laws of reality in fiction)
dr. leech is a brilliant young chemist and inventor. recognized for their prowess at 13 years old, she was sent to study in the capital of [fictional country i havent named.] there, leech's passion went to die as the cutthroat atmosphere of academia and intense pressure to get ahead began to wear them to dust. they developed a harsh sense of cynicism in their time at the capital's academy, and it followed them as they were offered into the capital's top research facility. now at about 26, charlotte leech is regarded as a genius in the public sphere, but those around her might call leech cold, intense and unfeeling. this isn't entirely the case, though. while leech might be a bit stiffer than most, with little regard for impressing anyone, those who can get close to leech (like her younger sibling or naomi) realize that they're just a quiet and thoughtful person... perhaps without the most developed social skills, but a wellmeaning soul nonetheless. leech has never had much of an opportunity to be "themself", and so when they try, it comes across a bit awkwardly. dr. leech also has a bit of a resentment toward their own abilities and mind, feeling that without it, her life would be meaningless to those around her. they make it a point to share their credit with everyone who helps them on a project, and find it extremely distasteful if a media outlet forgets to mention their colleague's names in favor of pushing dr leech's fame for profit.
dr. mariposa "posie" myrrh(she/xe), on the other hand, comes from a rural town and was scouted by chance after saving a capital congressman's life with xer inventions. fueled purely by personal ambition to create the most incredible and outrageous mechanical bastards known to man, xe jumped at the opportunity to use the capital's materials- and on their dime, too! though it was disappointing to learn she would also have to do their busy work, myrrh has quickly made a name for xerself in the capital- particularly for xer six armed backpack that can launch her across the facility grounds and cause great damage to property. oddly enough, capital guards always seem to be willing to let xer off with just a warning (no one mentions myrrh's willingness to draw a stun ray on anyone regardless of their status or rank.) where leech brings order, calculated control, myrrh brings chaos and entropy. at first meeting, leech accidentally slighted myrrh and didn't realize, leading myrrh to believe the rumors of the ice cold scientist were true and xe would be stuck in a lab with some boring, stuffy know-it-all. leech, on the other hand, couldn't help but envy myrrh for her carefree and damn near reckless approach to what they felt was a delicate craft. how was it fair that leech spent hours agonizing over blueprints and formulas while myrrh just seems to throw shit together and have it work out perfectly? these misunderstandings continue to grow as the two inventors find their footing in working together, leading to the boiling point of the pair getting so frustrated that they demand a separate lab space from each other. upon it being granted, leech seeks out an assistant, and thats when she meets naomi. (well, re-meets lol)
eventually leech and myrrh do come together when their respective partners/love interests begin spending a lot of time together out of nowhere, and they do the stereotypical 'set aside our differences and spy on our partners and make sure they arent dating' (this is because, despite being very intelligent, these two are also complete fucking idiots and would not think of communication at first). naomi and myrrh's boyfriend are actually just cousins who didn't know they were both living in the capital (myrrh's bf is an artist or something idk he isn't fleshed out) so they were catching up. hijinks and shenanigans like this keep happening for leech and myrrh until eventually they become uh… friends, in their own weird and twisted way.
