wait,,, i think i understand malleus's appeal (i say for the nth time, but please hear me out!!!!)

mal is commissioning the most talented artists in all of briar valley to make elegant marble sculptures, watercolor paintings, portraits, etc of you and he worships them with everything he's got. the artists have to be extremely careful and meticulous because if they portray you in a way that offends you or malleus they're being incinerated on the spot. T_T luckily, you often prevent this outcome by appreciating the artist's efforts by honestly expressing your approval for the parts that are indeed praiseworthy, thereby sparing the poor soul. it takes some convincing, but malleus soon comes to see the beauty he neglected to notice before, even if he still swears they got your eyes wrong by a very slight, minuscule detail.

the two of you fuck in the castle gardens. this is sacrosanct. if you ever want to be taken anywhere else that isn't in the bedroom, he'll send everyone away so the two of you are afforded true privacy. also, malleus has this habit where he cups your tummy with his palm so he can feel his dick(s) pressing up and bulging against your belly!!!! he handles you so sweetly and gently AND THE TWO OF YOU ARE SO IN LOVE AAAAAAAAAAA.

he also tends to hover. a lot. he likes being near you, but sometimes if you're doing something and he's not occupied he'll just,,,, tower over you like a second shadow. he doesn't mind the silence, but then he also doesn't realize he hovers. the hovering gets really bad and even more habitual when or if you're pregnant. ;;;; he cannot be away from you for one second; he has to be by your side at all times.

lots of kisses to the top of your hand. lots of tender kisses to your lips. they always feel so chaste and fleeting; he just likes to snag a kiss every now and then hehe. it recharges him. <3 but then also lots of slow, deep kisses stolen in shadowed halls, where he's leaning down and tilting your head to meet his mouth at an angle, and he rests his hand on your waist to pull you flush against him.

if you're ever sad, he's sad. the whole castle gets this incredibly gloomy feeling and depending on the level of sadness it may even be felt over briar valley. ^^;;; similarly, when you're happy he's happy. he doesn't need anything else, for he already has everything he could ever want (you).

he's a really good listener. the type who never zones out while you're talking and he listens so intently to everything you say. he will gladly sit and listen to you rant or vent or excitedly ramble about all manner of things. he thinks your enthusiasm is very attractive. of course, if you're venting, he's ready to get rid of the thing or person causing you such anguish. think the meme of "is the sun bothering you, my beloved?" with the person pointing the gun at the sun.

Also, I stumbled upon our Seventeen and Enhypen as Hogwarts students, but saw you didn’t have it for Stray Kids 😭 I know they’ve mentioned in 2019 what house they think they are, but you seem to have a much better understanding of the houses and I’m very curious to see what you would think their houses would be.

Heck yeah! Can't believe I didn't do this sooner tbh but I love this so here we are 😌 I agree, not necessarily that I'm the best at the job, lol, but that people just go for very generic ideas of the houses (Gryffindor is cool, Slytherin is evil, Hufflepuff is nice/silly, Ravenclaw is smart) rather than the true reflection of where they'd be hehe! Like Ravenclaw is actually also known for being artistic and eccentric, Slytherin for strong determination, Hufflepuff for acceptance and breaking tradition, Gryffindor for being the other self-sacrificing house. So sometimes people just say "I'm a Gryffindor because I'm a good guy!!!" anyway rant over here's the actual content we want🤣

Bang Chan

☆ Some kids got sorted instantly, but with one Christopher Bang the Hat took longer. Muttered to itself a lot as it waffled between his qualities, dubbing him hardworking and courageous and ambitious and loving. He couldn't help but flush under the hat's words, almost not hearing when its voice finally bellowed "Gryffindor!”

☆ Being Pure-Blood was only ever a phrase on a family tree for Chris. Who one’s ancestors were, what they looked like, or how much money they had said nothing for their value- only their choices and character did that.

☆ It’s only a formal class for one year, but he adores Flying. The feeling of freedom and getting to have some time outside is heaven for him. Defense Against the Dark Arts is another favorite for the similar reason of being able to get active and challenge himself, even literally facing his fears.

☆ Astronomy is very cool to him, but he finds having to fill in the same charts week after week a bit repetitive and not the best use of his time, frankly.

☆ Gryffindor’s Quidditch captain! He plays Keeper, working with great patience and synergy with the rest of the team to keep the goals clear.

☆ Blessed is the only word Chris can think of when he realizes how many happy memories he can pull from- not everyone can say that. As the word comes to mind, his wand lights up, producing a shining silver wolf standing majestically, protectively, before him.

Lee Know

☆ "You're an interesting one," came the Hat's comment upon touching Minho's head, "you've certainly got your priorities...whatever those are. A unique mind for sure. Better be Ravenclaw!" Some of Minho's friends had teased him as a Slytherin, so he was a bit surprised. Not that he would let his house define him entirely.

☆ He hates the reputation and unnecessary pressure that comes with being a Pure-Blood. It’s stupid and not worth debating in Minho’s mind. The only benefit is just the resources and opportunities he might get, and it’s tempting to turn those down on principle. Money and status don’t matter to him at all and there’s a part of him that wants to ‘sully the bloodline’ just for the hell of it! Luckily his parents don’t care either.

☆ Potions whiz. One of the few who actually get it and enjoy the calm, precise art and its beautiful results and wants to go N.E.W.T. with it. He’s also great at Care of Magical Creatures, naturally focused on the well-being of animals and other living things over his own excitement or whims.

☆ Having a fear of heights, Flying is not it for him. No thanks. He passes, but barely, and in his mind it’s not a skill he plans to use.

☆ Naturally, Minho opts out of Quidditch signups, but instead joins the Gobstones club because he thinks spraying the losers with stone juice is funny. Also gets invited to the Slug Club for his Potions skills and influence.

☆ No one is surprised when Minho closes his eyes, focuses, and boom! Produces a little glowing cat bursting from his wand with a few swipes of its paw to groom its nonexistent striped fur.

Changbin

☆ "Quite a softie underneath it all, eh?" Beneath the weight of the tattered Hat, Changbin strikes a bit of a pose. "Got a lot of ambition, but you've also got a lot of...that. Hmmm..." The Hat muses for a few more moments. "At the end of the day, this one’s a Slytherin!” Pride flows through Changbin’s veins- he doesn’t care for the reputation of producing dark wizards, the potential snobbery. All he cares about is showing his ambition to be the best if he puts his mind to it.

☆ He’s a Half-Blood, but both of his parents are wizards so his familiarity is much more with the Wizarding World. He wants to understand Muggles better to connect with them, too, as well as Muggleborns.

☆ Taking Muggle Studies helps with this and learning about another culture is quite fascinating to him- technology especially is amazing, like that’s what people do instead of magic? Wires of captured lightning? Sounds pretty magical to Changbin. He gets into tinkering with technology because of this. Another class he enjoys is Defense Against the Dark Arts. Changbin loves feeling ready to protect himself and others, so that’s the class he spends the most time practicing and taking notes in. He always thinks of his friends and his sister as he does so.

☆ History of Magic is boring, though, Changbin wants to cast some spells! At the end of the day, where certain spells come from don’t matter to him as long as he can use them. However, the idea of showing up in a ‘great wizards’ history highlight one day is appealing to him…

☆ His strength comes in handy serving as one of Slytherin’s two Beaters. The other teams are lowkey afraid of the Bludgers Changbin sends their way because they know how hard he hits!

☆ Bets are flying on what his Patronus animal would be, a pig or a rabbit. Pig is the most popular choice, mostly in jest, but shushing them all Changbin focuses all the great joy he’s expressing…and out leaps a rabbit! Not just any rabbit, though, but the massive, fluffy form of a Flemish giant rabbit that has everyone laughing and Changbin grinning, reaching out to it.

Hyunjin

☆ Nearly the second the Sorting Hat rests atop his head, it's shouting 'Ravenclaw!' Hyunjin himself can't be surprised, really, not when he's heard talk of the great artists in that house. In fact, pride glows in his chest as he joins his table that the Hat could see that in him.

☆ The Hwangs are an old wizarding family. Hyunjin has a lot of opportunities because of this, but fights against the idea that he could be any better than anyone else because of a name. Rather, he is often seen lifting up Muggleborn classmates and highlighting struggled of other magical people.

☆ Ancient Runes comes naturally to Hyunjin, something about his eye for detail, symbols, and decoding. Language is an area of interest for him so that class is like a beautiful puzzle. Astronomy grants Hyunjin so much art inspiration as well as time to relax and appreciate the gifts of nature and their inherent magic.

☆ There's no one class he hates, but like a lot of students Hyunjin has a harder time focusing on all the information getting dumped on him in History of Magic.

☆ Hyunjin’s extracurriculars include the Muggle Art club where he hones his painting skills and the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, where he plays as the team’s Seeker.

☆ Expectations fly as everyone wonders what the next Hwang’s Patronus will be. Will he get a stag, the majestic animal associated with famous wizards? An eagle, symbolizing his house? Not at all, in fact what Hyunjin summons is a beautiful, delicate silver dove that lights upon his shoulder.

Han

☆ “Don’t be so shy, kid, you’ve got heart.” “Really? Thanks bro.” “Yes, that’s what I’m talking about,” the Hat chuckles, “this one’s a Hufflepuff!” Jisung’s eyes go wide. He wasn’t expecting to get Hufflepuff, but if the hat says so, well, who is he to fight it? It’s nice getting the kindest house, too- maybe he’ll make a lot of friends.

☆ As a Half-Blood, the heavy weight of prejudice never really fell on Jisung. Half-Bloods tended to fall between the cracks as having already been sullied, just middle ground. As he witnesses bullying more and more, though, his passion grows to somehow help others and remind people that nobody can help who their ancestors married.

☆ Charms are quick, snappy, spur-of-the-moment but effective in a pinch, and Jisung likes that. It's fun and he can cast charms as quickly as he cracks a joke or comeback! Ancient Runes brings him a lot of inspiration from history and other languages that he loves to bring to his songwriting.

☆ Flying, thank goodness, isn't enforced every year! It scares him, frankly, and he'd much rather stay on the ground where he belongs.

☆ Because flying isn’t his favorite, no way in hell is he doing it with giant leather and metal things trying to smash him. Nope. However he’ll happily watch and commentate, hence him taking the mic and giving very entertaining descriptions of everything that happens. He’s also in the Frog Choir, always trying to get them to perform one of his compositions.

☆ Jokes around that he’s going to get a massive Patronus animal like a bear or a lion, but once he sees the embodiment of his joy skipping from his wand as a little quokka, he can’t even be embarrassed, just smile!

Felix

☆ "Well, you're just a delight, aren't you?" Felix couldn't tell if the Hat was being sarcastic, but still he chose to respond in kind. "I try!" At that, the Sorting Hat chuckled. "Yes, this one's a Hufflepuff for sure!" His sister had told him as much, but Felix couldn't complain- he liked the idea of being a Hufflepuff!

☆ Felix is a Muggleborn, so he takes in every step of starting school with wonder…though it is a bit overwhelming feeling like everyone’s speaking another language sometimes. But then again, magic candy! Brewing potions!

☆ Absolute wonder at Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. Felix is so gentle and good with every living thing, they practically request he be the one to handle them and that makes his heart burst with joy and honor! He also loves Potions, thinking the idea is so classic and cool, plus despite what most students say it’s kind of relaxing to him.

☆ Transfiguration dropped lower on his list when they started using living subjects. Sure, the idea that anyone and anything can grow and change and exist in many forms is really inspiring, but those poor mice and birds!

☆ Slug Club inductee part two! Even though he’s a Muggleborn with no direct influence, Felix is such a good student and avid potioneer that he’s a shoo-in. He also plays Quidditch as Hufflepuff’s Seeker.

☆ Felix isn’t sure what animal he’ll get, but he certainly isn’t expecting multiple! The entire class is shocked when a whole brood of chicks tumbles forth from his wand, eliciting shock and charmed coos alike.

Seungmin

☆ "This one's a bit of a surprise now," the Hat commented upon being set atop Seungmin's head. Seungmin couldn't help wondering what that meant and if it was bad, how to prove the Hat wrong. "No, lad, all you just did was prove my point. Looks can be deceiving, after all. Slytherin!" He wasn't sure what he expected, but that might not have been it. Sort of made sense, though- he could have fun with that!

☆ He can’t help wondering if the Hat chose as it did because he’s a Pure-Blood, taking Salazar’s old favors into account. Then again, he did just throw a cheating Gryffindor under the bus in class…

☆ Thinking logically is no trouble for Seungmin, so Arithmancy isn’t a bad choice for him. Connecting relationships between numbers and their power just makes sense to him- eight is his lucky number, after all. He also frequents the Potions dungeon, but that’s mostly just to brew the photo solution that grants his personal art projects motion!

☆ Defense Against the Dark Arts is a fun and active class, but it's boisterous and people take the duels too far sometimes.

☆ Frankly, he didn’t have time to join the Quidditch team due to his other extracurriculars, being an avid Frog Choir singer and the Hogwarts paper’s photographer.

☆ Everyone is sure the student everyone sees as a puppy will get a dog for his Patronus. Imagine their surprise when he casts a tanuki! Cute and cunning, no one can deny it matches him perfectly in the end.

☆ He forgot the Hat could read his thoughts. “So you want a house where you can show your talents and look out for people, huh?” Flushing, Jeongin just nods with a faint, bashful smile. “Well, better be Gryffindor, then!” He’s surprised, thinking maybe he’d have gotten Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff- he isn’t particularly brave, is he? “Trust me, kid, you’ll find your way,” the Hat promises, and do its eyelike folds wink?

☆ As a Half-Blood, he has knowledge of the Wizarding World, but also life outside of magic. Having one Muggle parent means one person getting yanked into the world of wonder, after all! Jeongin is proud to understand both sides of his world and guide his friends on how Muggles really live.

☆ Details don’t escape Jeongin, so he loves drawing star charts for Astronomy. Transfiguration is another favorite of his for similar reasons: he enjoys the focus, the idea that he can reshape objects into something greater or something new. It feels symbolic, poetic.

☆ Potions stresses him out because it's so easy to burn things or measure wrong; even if little details usually fascinate him, he can be a bit clumsy with the required finesse.

☆ Joins the wizard chess club, art club, and plays Quidditch- what can’t our baby bread do? Jeongin becomes Gryffindor’s Seeker, one especially known for turning the tides of the game for his team completely!

☆ He can barely contain his excitement that day in Defense Against the Dark Arts when it comes time to cast Patronus charms! He wonders if his animal will look like him and he certainly gets his wish when a charming little desert fox pops forth.

Vincent the voyeur. The second you come into town you can feel eyes on you but you don't know who they belong to, and you can't shake the feeling of being watched. But he's everywhere. He's sneaking peaks at you hiding in plain sight, shuddering as he completes his sketch, pencil moving frantically over every inch of the page. He can't move fast enough.

You're in awe of all the effort he takes into making the wax sculptures and beg to meet the artist himself, and he's scared shitless that the mask will bother you but you're just impressed it's molded so accurately to his face. Let's you touch it and guides your fingers over the contours of his mask, shaking at the miniscule tingles he can feel against his weathered skin.

Bo the flirt, of course. The second he sees you he knows you'll be fun. Heat licks up your spine every time he looks at you and it's a burrowing, soul-squirming, slow and steady kind of stare that makes it feel like he's looking at every part of you, not just the parts that they all usually like.

Lester giggles when you ask him more questions, normal questions, almost like you're trying to get to know him. Calls you a 'pretty thing' and gives you a little pendant made from a squirrels skull for good luck, knowing what lies ahead.

And he's falling all over himself too to be the perfect gentleman. Holding your hand to help you out the truck, the touch lingering a tad too long (he's not extending this gesture to your dick head friends of course) leaning against said truck to talk to you and missing like a complete dork, falling on his face. Embarrassed but it's all worth it when you laugh

and then all three of them when you're still roaming around and you can't find your friends, not knowing they're already dead and you're the only one left. You go to the gas station to ask around and they're all there and pretending they have no idea, smirking at your flustered expression when Bo flirts to redirect the conversation, backing you into Vincent as he does. Now you're a bit intimidated. Why are they cornering you like this? Even Lester isn't doing anything apart from an occasional 'knock it off, eh?" when you're too flustered to speak

No because immediately what struck me watching it is that Carly and her friends are kind of asses??? Like yes I'm all for character flaws but just being an idiot is basically your death sentence. It was karma. The only one I feel bad for is Paige. Tell me why I had hope that they would deserve to live when it was a bunch of college kids - - - you can never trust them to be protagonists of a horror movie because WHERE IN UR RIGHT MIND DOES IT BECOME ACCEPTABLE TO TRESPASS INTO AN AREA THAT CLEARLY SAYS 'CLOSED' OR KEY A WALL FOR PROOF??? like what if I went to ur house and saw it was locked and was like "oh, that's just a decoration" and to prove your window was real glass I threw a brick at it??? Same energy really Carly's boyfriend had it coming.

Dan Heng would sit next to you while wearing one ear of your earphones, he's so warm-hearted and nice. maybe he was kind of confused when you first reached out to him and asked him if you could listen to music with him, but he would gladly accept for you.

Blade doesn't get music but he still gets it in a way. he sits next to you, both of you sharing earphones, while he listens to you hum along the song. maybe although he doesn't understand music, he likes seeing you and hearing you sing. it's like music to his ears lmaoo

Blade would listen to you rant nonstop about how the music is really good, your favorite parts of the music video, etc.

he'd pat you on the head when you attempt to sing a high note but failed.. it's okay! blade gives it a 97 percent score maybe you should try practicing more often and he'd gladly give it 100%~

You would sit beside Jing yuan while he tries to lie about how the diviner told him he could rest today. but still he took a day off and endured the scoldings of the diviner Fu Xuan just so he can find time to talk to you n listen to you talk about whatever you want to talk about! he's so sneaky and you love him for it

Jing yuan pats you on the back for trying to sing a high note while his birds start singing and bombarding you both with your failure because they are sneaky little critters, just like their owner ^^

maybe you should try to tell diviner fu xuan to let Jing yuan have his way sometimes! the general could probably work overtime after listening to his cute lover sing

you sat at your desk, mindlessly watching a youtube video that was supposed to be your background noise as you did your art. instead your sketchbook was left on the fresh blank page as you were completely engrossed in the video.

“aren’t you supposed to be doing something” you snapped out of your focus from the distraction and turned to see bachira cheekily smiling at you with an eyebrow raised and hands on his hips

“ugh fine you caught me,” you said as you turned back to look at your computer and felt bachira wrap his arms around you and his head rest on his shoulder.

“i just… don’t know how to start. i’ve been on an art block for weeks now and it’s starting to wear me down.” you let out a deep sigh as you rambled and tapped your pencil on the desk, “it’s just so hard to find any ideas now”

as bachira listened to your rant, he unwrapped one of his arms from your shoulder and silently reached out for your colored pens and markers with his tongue out in absolute concentration, none of which you noticed.

your ramble got interrupted the second you heard marker scratching on paper. you look down to see bachira doodling on your sketchbook

“bachira?! what the hell are you doing!?” when you said that, he quickly snatched up your sketchbook and a couple of markers and ran out the room giggling, too fast for you to catch up. ‘god why did i date a football player’ you sighed and ran out to find him

you spotted him on the couch, comfortably laying on his stomach as he continued doodling on your stolen sketchbook with your stolen markers. you immediately snatched the book out of his hands.

“i cannot believe you would take my things like that! not only did you take my sketchbook, you also drew in it without my permiss- oh wait…” your scolding trailed off as you took a look at the page he drew. you saw the vibrant squiggles and lines he did along with some star shapes and hearts.

“wow this is actually really pretty,” you said, sitting down right next to him. you took one of your pens that bachira stole from your desk and started to draw on that page, using the art bachira did as a colorful background to bring out the black ink of the figures you drew in front of it. bachira rested his head on your shoulder and watched the entire time.

“hehe looks like i once again saved the day,” bachira laughed as he looked at your ‘collaborated’ work.

you rolled your eyes at his comment. “ok fine i guess you did help with my art block,” you smiled and kissed his cheek, “i appreciate it and i appreciate you”

bachira grinned and wrapped his arms around your waist, “you are so so welcome!”

“is this something you did with your mom every time she couldn’t paint?” “oh yeah constantly” “ah should’ve guessed”

you sat at your desk while scrolling through different photos on your laptop, trying to find something to draw since your brain was completely dried out of ideas

“babe~” you sighed as you heard a whiny voice from behind you. uh oh kaiser needs attention. you turned your head to look at him

“how much longer are you gonna be in here for? you’ve already been here all day…” it’s only been an hour.

you rolled your eyes as his whining got more desperate and you spoke, “who knows at this point. i’ve been stuck for a while so you might have to wait for the rest of the day.” you glanced at him, knowing that would get to him.

“no darling! you cant stay here all day”

“well if you have any ideas for me, i’ll love to hear them”

he closed your laptop, pushing all your things aside, and sat on your desk right in front of you with his leg crossed over his knee, “how about this… you should just draw me.” he smirked as he looked down at your unimpressed face

you thought about it for a second before nodding, “you know what… that’s not too bad of an idea! i’ll do it.”

“ok great!” he said as he started taking his shirt off.

“kaiser no! i don’t need a nude model so please leave your shirt on!”

“fine…” he groaned, hesitantly removing his hands from his shirt and smoothed it out. he mumbled, “it’s nothing you haven’t seen before anyway”

you playfully rolled your eyes and got your stuff ready. you started drawing him as he did various poses while basking in all your attention. every now and then he would try to convince you that him stripping off his clothes would help more but you kept shooting that idea down. you had to deal with him constantly walking naked around the house already.

once you finished, you showed him the sketches. he wrapped his arms around you and kissed you multiple times, each one on a different spot on your face. “wow you did such a good job! you captured my beauty so well”

he took photos of your sketches while gushing about how good of an artist you are and how blessed he is for having you (and also how blessed you are for having a great and attractive model like him)

the next day while he was out at practice, he showed off your drawings to his teammates, bragging about how beautiful and talented his partner is

The New Heir - Chapter 8

Alright, lets go on. Sorry for taking so long to push this out. Feedback is appreciated, as always.

Damian and Elias have talked through the problem and Damian has promised to not try to remove himself from Elias. He would try to deal with sadness and worry with Elias, considering that they are now both in a pickle. As far as they know, they could be biologically related.

But how would they be related if it is Ra's though? Elias shuddered at the every part of his being, every fiber of his being. It was a scary thought for Elias. If Ra's trained Batman, one of the best martial artists in the world, then what did he do with his mom?

Now there was a big question about the fact what to do with those martial arts? He is not ashamed, oh no, but now he is questioning everything. Should he hide his skills?

No. Elias thought about it and decided that he wouldn't hide anything. Absolutely anything. He won't carry the burden of his father.

He would not even carry the sins of his father.

After concluding that in his mind, Elias went to sleep. Damian and Elias shared a bed that night, Damian seemingly worried about Elias. It really looked like he was worried about Elias judging him for his grandfather.

Elias really couldn't see how Damian could worry about that. He never judged anybody on his family, but the character. Nobody really has a choice about their family. You are either lucky or unlucky.

There is really no in between.

There was another problem with Elias. The gala is in a few hours and Elias was still nervous. He was looking at the suit that was laid on his bed. The suit looked amazing, but it really didn't fit him. He wasn't this rich kid that would attend galas all the time.

But he would keep his mouth shut about this. Bruce was kind enough to give him this suit so he shouldn't complain about it. More importantly, he got a roof over his head. Elias still glared at the suit.

He huffed as he left the room, walking towards the kitchen. There were people milling around, mostly waiters and security, checking the manor out, the perimeter more so.

He heard Alfred in the kitchen, telling the waiters everything they needed to know. He waived over Elias to stand next to him, not even turning his head to look at him, eyes trained on the soldier in front of the head waiter.

" Is everything clear? " Alfred asked and the waiter nodded, letting the others know what to do and what not to do. Alfred turned his head to look at Elias, a softer look in his eyes.

" How can I help you master Elias? "

" I just can't stay in my room Alfred. " Elias confessed, watching as everyone was getting ready. The waiters in a white tuxedo, glasses clinking, smells of different foods... It was more comforting than the silence of his room.

" What's wrong? " Alfred said as he lead him to sit down on one of the island chairs.

" I just... Feel really out of place with this gala. I glared at the suit with so much that I had to leave the room and clear my head. " Elias explained to Alfred and Alfred had nothing but sympathy for him.

" And that's normal. You grew up in a humble environment and this is the weird and confusing for you. "

" Alfred, I never had a custom made suit in my life. Ever. Like... It's insane to me. It's not- " Elias let out a sigh instead, rubbing the back of his neck. " And I feel like I am ungrateful because I don't want to wear the suit, but then I think of the fact that he gave a place to leave. " Elias ranted out and Alfred put his hand on Elias' shoulder.

" You don't have to worry about it. You are an honorary Wayne now and all of his kids get the best things for the public stuff like this. Galas are the worst time for everyone here and nobody likes them, but we endure it. " Alfred explains and directs a waiter.

" Don't feel bad and try to relax here okay? Usually you guys are here for 2 hours tops and that's it from you guys. Reporters won't bother you because there will be hell to pay with Bruce. "

" I like the sound of it. "

" Also, I have to warn you, Damian's mother and his grandfather will come. "

Elias' jaw dropped down to the floor. " No. "

" Yes master Elias. Also, they are civil, don't worry about anything happening. " Alfred said, but Elias didn't believe it. By God it didn't believe it.

" I really can't believe it, but fair enough. " Elias said as he walked off and went back to his room. He really needs to put his suit on. Alfred smiled and got back to work.

" Hey Alfred. " Bruce said as he walked in. " Did you see Elias? "

" I did, you must have passed one another. " Alfred said.

" Is he okay with the gala? " Bruce asked as he leaned on the counter, being careful of the dishes.

" I told him that Ra's and Talia are coming. He is now a bit nervous, but he will be fine. " Alfred answered and Bruce rubbed his eyes.

" Well, he had to know... Now is just going to be the matter of nerves." Bruce said as he looked at the kitchen. " I know this gala is for charity, but I hate it. " Bruce said and Alfred smiled.

" I know, but it's for kids. " Alfred said as he took a bottle of whiskey and two glasses to pour the whiskey in.

" Even before the gala? " Bruce asked as he accepted the glass from Alfred.

" I need it. " Alfred said as he raised his glass. Bruce followed. " May this gala go well. "

" Hear hear. " Bruce said as they clanked their glasses before downing their whiskey.

The gala was actually going well. Elias was still nervous, but he was always with one of the guys. He saw journalists and he did see gossip pages and what not, but none of them approached any of the boys. Elias truly wishes that he could get rid of this anxiety, but he knew he couldn't.

How could he anyhow? Everyone watching him as he was a new Wayne, not officially, but an honorary one, but none the less, press are ready to sink their teeth into him. A tragic story of his mom missing and Bruce doing a press conference alone, seemingly wanted to see what he could share, giving them all the juicy details about the case and himself.

Elias was now the talk of Gotham and all eyes were on him right now.

He found it distressing and it made him want to crawl into his room. He really wanted to, but knew he couldn't do it just yet. Damn it Bruce. (Y/N) was talking to Damian, getting something to drink. The two need a break from the snobbish kids that came along with their parents. Damian and the others were primary targets and Elias was spared so far.

" Hello Damian. " Somebody said from behind them, in a deep rich voice and Elias picked up on a slight Arabic accent. Elias turned around and nearly dropped the glass in shock.

Is this Ra's Al Ghul?

" Grandfather. " Damian said and that confirmed it to Elias. Oh shit. Shit. No. Nope.

" And this must be Elias. I'm Ra's, Damian's grandfather. " Ra's introduced himself, extending a hand to shake. Elias took his hand and shook it with a firm grip. " Yes, I'm Elias. Nice to meet you. " Elias lied right through his teeth.

Keep it civil Eli. Keep it civil.

" This is my daughter Talia. " Ra's said and (Y/N) looked at the woman next to him.

Elias had to admit, she is drop dead gorgeous. Almost like a goddess. Dark brown hair, gorgeous eyes, not to mention a figure that many men look for a few moments longer than they should.

If Elias was was none the wiser, he would have gone for her. Of course, if he was older too, an adult. The two shook hands and Elias forced a smile.

" Nice to meet you. " He lied right through his teeth once more and saw the way that Ra's was looking at him. Damian watched from the side.

" I heard what happened to your mother. I'm sorry that happened to you. " Ra's said and Elias had a bad feeling about this. He gave a small nod and a tight smile. " Thank you. "

Something was off about all of this. Really off. And it wasn't because Elias knew what was Ra's and Talia capable of, but something else. He took sip of his drink and Damian has stepped in.

" Elias, I think that father wanted to talk to you. " Damian said and Elias didn't question this and said his polite goodbyes before leaving to look for Bruce.

Where the hell is that man? Elias wondered as he kept looking, sighing in relief as he made his way to Bruce. Bruce saw him and saw a panicked look in his eyes. He quickly walked over, putting his hand on his shoulder.

" Eli, are you okay? "

" I don't know, I just met Ra's and Talia... " Elias said and started to breathe deeply. He didn't want to have a panic attack now.

" Come with me. " Bruce said as he led Elias out of the room and into an empty hall. " Deep breaths okay? "

Elias nodded and just tried not have another panic attack. He leaned against the wall and undid his tie, not wanting to feel suffocated.

" That man is stressful to talk to. My God... " Elias whispered to himself and Bruce put his hand on Elias' shoulder.

" I know, trust me, I know. Do you think you will have a panic attack? " Bruce asked quietly and Elias shook his head, following with a very quiet no.

" Good boy. I would like for you to go to your room and relax okay? You don't have to be at the gala anymore okay? " Bruce said to Elias and Elias wanted nothing more than that. Bed is nice. Bed doesn't judge.

Bed is comforting. Very comforting.

" Thanks... How do you deal with him? " Elias asked and Bruce smiled a little bit.

" You need to have your wits. That's all I can say. " Bruce said and gave Elias a quick hug to make sure he is okay.

" Wow. " Elias said and moved back when Bruce let him go.

" Go to your room and relax, okay? Don't worry about him. " Bruce reassured Elias and Elias happily went up the stairs. Bed won't judge. Bed will only comfort you.

The gala came to an end and the manor was empty. Well, it wasn't really. Talia and Ra's were sitting in the living room, with the rest of the family, including Alfred, but without Elias, who was sleeping in his bed quite relaxed and quite happy. Bed doesn't judge.

Now, what was the reason for this impromptu meeting I might hear you asking?

It was about Elias. Bruce outright refused to call Elias down and Ra's backed down from the suggesting it anymore. Of course, the two were outnumbered, especially with one member of the family who wasn't afraid to kill.

It was Alfred, already protective of his new grandson and at the moment, he was standing with one of his wrists in his other and the gun in the free one. Alfred was quick on the trigger, especially since being an MI6 agent. Former of course.

Ra's and Talia were fully aware of it and has agreed to not piss off Alfred.

" Why are you focused on Elias? " Alfred asked, looking those two demons down.

" Well, you will need context first. " Ra's said as he was leaning back on the couch, legs crossed. He fixed his cufflinks and looked at everyone in the room.

" Around 30 years ago, I met a newcomer who was eager to learn. She had such raw passion and raw talent for fighting. " Ra's said as he smiled a little bit at the memory. " I immediately took her under my wing and soon enough, I feel in love. A year later, we were married and Talia was on the way. " Ra's said, pausing to take a sip of his wine. He continued as he put his glass down.

" When Talia was around 20 years old, my wife disappeared. Well, she somehow ran. To this day, I don't know how she did it. Worst of all? " Ra's said as he paused for a brief moment, smirking in pure bitterness. " She was pregnant with a baby boy, my heir. A boy who was born in May 2011. "

The last sentence did it and the room was silent. If Elias had been here, he would have gotten a panic attack of the century. Everyone turned to Damian and Bruce, who were speechless. Damian more than Bruce.

He has an uncle his age... My God.

" So Elias is Damian's uncle? " Jason asked, hoping to get a little bit more of clarity. Tim wonder if he was hallucinating and Dick was just to speechless to even talk.

" Yes. " Talia said and Bruce blinked once.

" I still want to do a DNA test, just to make sure. " Bruce announced and Ra's scoffed.

" I think I can recognize my wife's photo from the news? Do you want me to give you her full name to prove it? " Ra's asked and everyone could sense a certain level of hostility.

Bruce stayed quiet for a moment, before he asked his last question. " You really loved Natalia, didn't you? "

Ra's didn't seem to give out a reaction, but his eyes betrayed him. He loved Natalia very much it seems. Maybe Ra's did know what love is.

" I want to meet Elias. " Ra's said and Alfred gripped his gun tighter.

" That won't happen any time soon. " Jason and Tim said together at the same time and Bruce nodded his head.

" Elias is scared of you Ra's. He knows who you are and what you did to Damian. " Bruce said and Ra's turned his head to look at Bruce.

" So I should be deprived of my son? My flesh and blood? My heir? " Ra's said and Alfred started glaring at Ra's.

" Elias doesn't want your legacy. " Tim said quickly and Ra's turned his head to look at Tim.

" I just want to meet him. If I went to court and proved paternity, he would have come to live with me, however, I don't want to be that type of person. " Ra's said and Jason's jaw clenched and Dick gripped Jason's shoulder, trying to calm him down.

" Here is what's going to happen. " Bruce said as he stood up, authority in his voice and posture. " I'll do a DNA test to make sure you are his father. If it is confirmed, I'll tell him and will let you know. And it will be up to Elias if he wants to meet you. I won't force him and neither will you. Do any of that sort and Alfred will make sure you won't come back to life. " Bruce said as he started down Ra's, who refused to back down.

" You have my word that we won't intervene. The only thing I ask is that he knows. And I don't want him to be coached into not wanting to meet with me or Talia. " Ra's stated as he stood up, walking towards Bruce.

The two shook hands, sealing that deal.

" You have my word Ra's. " Bruce said and the boys all glanced at one another.

so ever since i drew that lil thing of essek painting a frank stella inspired painting (or even before), ive been thinking of what kinds of art each of the m9 would do. essek ofc is inspired by a minimalist show that i went to here, all the big names from that movement were shown, but those really dark, sinkhole-like paintings are speaking to me. another artwork of boxes made of mirrors also seems like the thing he would do too

there's a kiln here that we visited which was huge, and surrounding it were artists' studios and some other ceramic sellers, i imagine the clay family having a place like this in the middle of nowhere amongst the trees, and caleb would do his work there

anyways because at heart im a shadowgast luver its centred around them,, they meet at an artist residency or something like that and its an incredibly slow burn that involves talking and not-talking and looking and not-looking. in the end i am but a simple wong kar wai fan so. that kinda vibes would definitely influence this, i would describe it as a quiet burning i guess?? time skipy and words that are not said

i think im gonna rant a bit more about their different mediums and styles so i'll keep it under the cut

i think caleb sculpts figures and portraits, but in a sad, kathe kollwitz charcoal vibe. maybe some funky looking animals, perhaps some pots and vases to look at the pretty glazes. he's interested in using fire to burn texture into different mediums, like ive seen it being used on shellac to make a really cool net of ink looking structure.. but yknow, just seeing the aftermath of glazed ceramic from the kiln is enough, and probably better for him to keep his distance anyways

the clay family produces most of the ceramic to sell, vases, pots, plates, cups, teapots, yknow just a whole array. and its really colourful too, depicting every family members different style. i think caduceus would do some matte glazes with a lot of different colours, theyre all a little wonky but theyre better off that way anyways. he does some really mean ink calligraphy and painting though

jester definitely does,, everything, whatever her heart desires kinda thang. she makes pastel textile installations and lighthearted cute paintings, but theyre always so contemplative and soothing. she gets m9 a lot of work cus her mom has connections, etc etc. i really love the idea of jester creating works that talk about the female body and femininity (definitely not projecting no)

beau is a printmaker and photographer who's really experimental, she loves cyanotypes and printing flowers (for yasha), idk she seems like she would put fabric and rocks into the washing machine to see what would happen. u would probably catch her in someone elses studio learning about what they do or in the library learning about what old people did

veth works in a museum as a curator, getting beau to help her sometimes with gathering artworks and artists etc. she probably organises community art projects for kids and public art installations. her house is full of m9's artworks and various other artists shes worked with.

yasha does bouquets as her post-retirement part time job, prior to that no one really knows what she did ("she probably murdered a bunch of people and is now hiding from the government"). fjord draws comics for fun but is also not a job for him, molly is a question mark for me. but these guys probably wont be in it as much anyways

im still not sure what format i wanna do this in, im actually having fun just writing it in my notebook now (digital does not facilitate the creative juices) but i do want to do some visuals like fake movie stills or storyboards. maybe they will work together well???? dunno. working on the other shadowgasty thing im doing made me realise how much easier it is to draw when there's a script already there, so im writing the script for myself

Okay first of all? Many sexual comments, in public, mostly likely to Fyodor, Fyodor is tired and you are tired but Mykola ISN'T (he just likes to brag in all honesty)

Second of all, contortionist/circus jokes. He's a clown. A clown and an contortionist? Circus. That being said these jokes are actually intended to be affectionate

Okay but seriously. He is immensely entertained by this and actually thinks it's pretty cool!

He tries to imitate the things you do sometimes (and succeeds because his body has the physics of a Looney Tunes character), not necessarily to mock you but just to see if he can (and to match with you, at least in his head)

Brings it up out of nowhere by joking about it or something to try and get a rise out of you

Will ask you to use your flexibility for his amusement and interest, claims he's interested in the human anatomy but is actually just a dirty-minded jokester

He loves you beyond just your flexibility but he's very appreciative of the fact that it allows him to make so many dumbass jokes

Kunikida:

Kunikida is at first pretty intrigued and doesn't at all see it as a sexual thing- like he simply admires your athleticism.

And then that fool DAZAI-

Poor guy can't catch a break from then on. Even the most professional of people can't control their thoughts sometimes. But he does his best not to think dirty things because one, he respects you, and two, SCREW YOU DAZAI.

Well he's a martial artist so he's rather athletic himself, but maybe you start teaching him stuff like different stretches because he really needs to loosen up (literally, Kunikida's joints are stiff as hell I just know it)

In return he teaches you a thing or two about self defence! And like with Chuuya you two find a way to enhance both skills by combining them in different ways

Assumes you have a history of gymnastics and asks you about that (whether or not you do he still wants to know)

Not really a person who asks you to use your flexibility for his own entertainment but he's always fascinated to see it

He will throw Dazai if he says anything slightly off about it again

Sigma:

He FREAKS out when he first sees you do some contortionist type stuff. His reaction is something like 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? HUMANS CAN'T DO THAT?????????'

I don't think he'd really have been taught about the concept of human flexibility for athletic or artistic purposes. And even if he was aware he wouldn't have been expecting it from you

Once you explain the concept to him he understands and actually thinks it's pretty interesting. Continuously asks 'can you do [so and so]?' and is always amazed whenever you do it

Would be curious as to whether or not he'd be able to practice and get as flexible as you one day, but he never bothers to try because he's already busy (and he's too nervous to ask you for guidance)

He respects the time you'd have put in to get as flexible as you are and wants to follow your example in that way, determined king

In his head he would never ever make any sexual connection even if Mykola said something that implied it. He just doesn't see it

If he has any patrons who are dancers or gymnasts he might strike up a conversation and ask them about how to avoid pulling muscles and stuff just in case

Sometimes he just gets a little bit nervous about your health lol

i also always felt like the fandom depicting reigen's childhood as abusive and neglectful never really quite fit. i know that most of it is probably just projection, and it's something i really understand because i've done it before with other characters.

i feel like there's a difference between giving a character trauma that makes sense when taking their canon self into account and giving a character trauma for other unrelated reasons, like comfort or even for fun, to be able to explore the scenarios that would come with it. both are very valid. let the people do what they want, y'know?

but something i feel like people tend to gloss over sometimes is that parents can fuck up when raising you and still not be outright shitty evil people. they can judge you on your career choices and still love you. your friends can make an off the cuff comment that ends up sticking with you in a bad way without realizing, people can suck at showing they care about you while still caring about you, they can be imperfect just as much as you are. it's their first time on this earth too. and it doesn't excuse the times they may have hurt you or made you feel bad about yourself, but it's up to you if you wanna keep them in your life. everyone can change, but that's also up to them.

it gives reigen an added charm [or should i say humanity?], to know that he is a flawed person and that it stems from the things that happened when he was younger, and the people that were in his life, and to know that things don't need to be catastrophic for them to affect and/or change you, whether good or bad. it's a good thing to remember i think. to know that there's so many greys between the white and black. that he has layers. his experiences are very valid.

Oh my god no don't apologize you're so right. I agree 100% so I'm gonna answer with my own long ramble.

(Discussions of child abuse below, though nothing that's not present in MP100 canon.)

Yes, it almost feels like people want to dismiss all flawed parenting and strained relationships between parent and child as abuse. There's certainly something very wrong with Reigen and his parents' relationship but I'm gonna be honest, I don't understand how people can find redemption in Toichiro who literally beat up his own son but then at the same time demonize Reigen's parents for the crime of disapproving his life as a CONMAN.

Yes, Reigen actually helps his clients and refuses to take money for things he cannot fix, but he's an incredibly special case and his parents are like most people who have no clue that the supernatural is even real. I personally think IRL psychics are full of shit and prey on the naive and emotionally vulnerable. If I had a kid who quit their normal job and spent all their savings to become a psychic I would not be happy with them! I would hope I wouldn't be as cold and that they wouldn't live in fear of my messages to them but I would definitely be encouraging them to stop that shit and get a "real job". To think that his parents should support his choices in life when he's pretending to be a psychic with no additional context is wild to me. (Also, I can't find the translation anymore but Reigen says in the fanbook that his mom thinks he's being tricked into doing his current job.) Again, they could go about this in a much better way but this disapproval does not inherently point to abuse.

(Sorry this rant got very long so everything else is below the cut.)

I think the biggest thing that points to Reigen's parents not being as awful as they are in fan content is that even after Reigen gets publicly exposed for being a con artist, his mom does tell him to learn his lesson from this but she also takes the time to prepare him an apology, tells him that he should come home (instead of telling him he's not welcome home/disowning him) and emphasizes that she's on his side. Maybe you could consider that the bare minimum of a decent parent but this to me just doesn't feel like she's the hateful abusive mother so often depicted. She could be warmer about it but she's obviously super concerned and wants Reigen to know she cares about him regardless of his actions.

(As for his dad, all we know is that he and Reigen don't talk to each other at all and that he thinks Reigen is unemployed. This relationship is definitely worse than Reigen and his mom's but there's little to go off of in terms of if his dad is a terrible parent or not. His mom seems to think he's worried about Reigen and that would definitely not surprise me.)

In terms of how Reigen feels about his parents, in the fanbook he acknowledges that there have been misunderstandings from both sides and that he'd like to talk things out with them and visit them more often. That's such a real thing lots of people can relate to and I'd love to see that get explored! I want to see Reigen patch things up with his parents! Maybe I'll write out my stupid fic idea for it idk.

I also don't want to stereotype but I am from an East Asian family myself and grew up surrounded by others so I feel like it's safe for me to say that Reigen's parents really remind me of your typical older generation of Asian parents. (Reigen was born in 1984 so his parents would definitely be of the boomer ilk, potentially even the Silent Generation if they had him on the older side.) Reigen also says in the fanbook that his parents are very serious people. Oftentimes with that older generation they just don't really show their care the way you'd normally see it. There may never be any "I love yous" but they'll cut you a plate of fruit without you asking or remember the show you liked 10 years ago and assume you're still into it...

Of course, parental norms in a culture don't justify hurtful parenting. (I mean just watch Everything Everywhere All At Once if you want to see the pain of having a disapproving Asian parent despite knowing they love you and just want what they think is best for you.) His mom fussing over his job and his lack of a girlfriend may be a super "Asian parent" thing, but it definitely hurts Reigen's feelings and she should cut that out. So yeah, Reigen's parents could do a lot better in terms of making Reigen feel supported and loved regardless if they approve of his life choices or not, but Reigen wants to patch things up with them for a reason and I'm hopeful that they can all reach a better understanding with each other.

One thing I also wish the anime showed was that Reigen's mom talks to him on the phone after Separation Arc! We see that in this omake:

Reigen definitely didn't tell his parents his phone number or his home address if his mom had to resort to emailing his business address just to talk to him. But I like to think that after Separation Arc he started letting his mom into his life a bit more...

God this was such a long rant, I'm sorry. One final thing before I get to your questions is that if we really need abusive parents to hate, Teru's non-present parents are ripe for the picking... Just saying.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

Gosh I initially thought he was just a silly goofy character who could be annoying and pathetic at times, but I enjoyed his presence on-screen. Then he got deeper in the Season 1 finale and showed just how much he truly cared about Mob... That part definitely got me shook. He only got better and better from there and now he's one of my favorite characters in the story.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Jesus christ uh I definitely don't think he'd be a bad roommate and we'd probably get along just fine but I also think I'd annoy the shit out of him. I'm not the best at keeping my space neat and clean. Also the thought of meeting Reigen in person is actually terrifying... Reigen should never exist outside the world of fiction because his pure chaos would be too much for reality.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

Hmm I answered what I don't like last time, but I do like fics that explore his relationship with Mob or Serizawa. I also like seeing him confront more of his personal issues and grow as a person even if he gets a little hurt in the process-

Hello Arcadekitten!!! I read the Stellamb wedding post(s) and it got me wondering about how Stella’s wedding dress would look like… I absolutely love Sweet No Death, so I knew I had to make some artwork of it!! And, because I absolutely suck at explaining things through text, here is my interpretation of Stella’s wedding outfit in traditional art! ✨💫🌟

Materials Used: Mixed Media Paper, Ink Fineliner Pens, Alcohol Markers Gel Pens, Paint Pens, Highlighter and Mechanical Pencil

Time Took: 1 week

I don’t know if you’re okay with people sending fanarts and stuff to you, but I absolutely love your work and well, I’m quite proud of this piece (even if I probably shouldn’t be lol) as I worked extremely hard on this and wanted to share it with you! I hope that’s okay ❤️

A little artist “#Deep Dive tm” because I put WAY too much effort into the tiniest details and I am NOT gonna let them get overlooked 😤 /jk

-Stella’s dress is made with her signature colors rather than white, because I felt that with her being a Star Witch and all, a species that mostly has extravagantly colorful clothes (in my humble opinion) she felt that just going with plain white on what is possibly the most important day of her life would feel… well, a bit redundant, so she opted for a more ‘colored’ ballgown, with lacy gloves and a pearled veil and all. The local tailor and dressmaker is a bit confused, but Lambchop is definitely not complaining! ;) 💕💓

-(Well, that, and I also felt that the color blended WAY too much with her skin tone and changed it, but that’s my little secret hehe 👀😉)

-In my mind, Stella can make her hair look like it has a small galaxy within it! With actual moving stars and little twinkling lights. ✨💫✨⭐️🌟I think that she usually saves it for special, grandiose occasions, buuut since she’s not the kind of person who would THROW a grand, special occasion, she never unveiled it before her wedding day! (Poor Lambchop’s heart nearly gave out on the spot right then and there! 😭❤️)

-I didn’t add her usual Star hair clip because she already has like… 10 stars in her design already lmao /lh ⭐️

-As you can see, her bouquet’s… cloth? Fabric? I’m not sure what to call it… thing? The stuff that her flowers are wrapped in are Lambchop’s colors! Thought that it would be a neat visual detail… also, I can totally imagine Stella requesting that specific color scheme from the local florist! 💐🌷🌸

-Speaking of flowers… I decided to color in one of the moon daisies a little bit… differently hehe ;) It’s a small reference to the beginning of the game, where we see Stella change the color of the one rebellious moon daisy, from orange to lavender, except this time… she keeps it and uses it in her bouquet! 💖💗

-I like to think that it symbolizes Lambchop versus the rest of the townspeople… and Stella’s way of acknowledging him as a “real person”, at least compared to the others… one who is different, one who is unique… the one that she’s going to marry 💍🩷

-(it’s so absolutely sappy when she tells him so that he just couldn’t resist kissing her right then and there)

-And finally… (this is the last one I promise) I cut out the entire drawing to make it look like a potion bottle, partially because Stella is a witch, and partially because I had this cute lil idea that she stores all of her happiest memories into a magical bottle and takes it out whenever she feels sad, so that she can ‘experience’ it again and feel happier. Of course, with Lambchop by her side, she never really has to use it!💞🩷💗

-And yes, I also made the bottle have Lambchop colors as well 🐏 Just a nice little thing tying em together more visually… ❤️

…And I am SO SORRY for ranting!!! I worked incredibly hard on this piece (traditional art is NOT my strong suit, lol) but I wanted to make something special for one of my favorite games and one of my favorite game devs! So here it is, and I hope that you like it! 🤞❤️😁

Oh my goodness this is BEAUTIFUL!! The artwork itself is just stunning!! You took so much time on it and it really shows, especially with all your attention to detail in it(and I LOVE hearing your explanations for some of the choices you made!! They're just so darling!) Bowtie on the neck. His pants are more like shorts and are cut juuuuust above the knee! Still wearing long socks with garters. He looks incredibly dapper--as he should!! It's his wedding!

Hopefully he at least looks good for the photos before he decides to get any mysterious red stains on his outfit. (It's fine. Stella could clean them with the snap of her fingers, but still!)

Traditional! I do digital arts only because of my lack of ability and because it’s far more convenient, otherwise I love how traditional arts express the details, the strokes and all sorts of things in a more “humanly” way :) So even though I mainly draw digitally, I’m trying hard to make my drawing look more leaning to the traditional spectrum. That being said when I saw the fact that there were quite a few tags under my sandman fancomic Miracle Happens After Dawn being confused whether it was done by watercolours, tbh I lowkey felt a bit proud of it hehe
