I got this new planner that says "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." I got it to remind myself in 2020 that it's okay to fail and that it doesn't mean what I think it means. I thought failing meant BEING a failure, meant that the failed thing wasn't worth trying to begin this, was a bad idea in general. Taking a road less traveled than most means you're going to have to learn a lot of things the hard way. You're going to have to dust yourself off when things don't work out and really believe in yourself anyway. More than anyone else around you believes in you. Whether they believe in you or not. Thank you to everyone who has supported me thru 2019 and believed in me. I do it while believing in and admiring you. Back to back 10-12 hr days have gone into this! I'm showing this piece in my senior show on December 9th, at 5 p.m. Everyone's been asking me why I decided to do this and if it's going to be ready in time. Yes it's definitely going to be ready, because I won't let this thing end any other way. And I did it because I saw it and I knew that I could bring it to life. Once it's in my head I have to do everything I can to get it into this world.
