I’ll always find it funny that Snow and Katniss grew up in the same conditions (poverty, dead dads etc), and although they share similarities, they are opposing characters. Snow used his past experiences to oppress others because he knew how horrible it was. He forced people into poverty, even though he spends half of his time in tbosas stating how awful poverty is, and got the idea of prostituting the Victors from Tigris being a prostitute herself to help out with their poverty. Snow says how even the thought of Tigris being sexually abused “made him feel sick and helpless.” (tbosas, 4) But he still inflicted this oppression onto others.

Yet Katniss wanted to help those in similar situations because she knew how horrible it felt.

And it’s clear that what Suzanne was trying to say is that, at the end of the day, it’s a choice to be a horrible person or not. Your shitty past experiences are not an excuse to inflict harm on others. “I think there’s a natural goodness built into human beings. You know when you’ve stepped across the line into evil, and it’s your life’s challenge to try and stay on the right side of that line.” (tbosas 493)

I REALLY like Bowa as a character now. this is so insanely tragic to me. she's been stewing in Fear for years - but like Trust, this doesn't necessarily just seem like fear. she truly has worked twice as hard as anyone else! she is attacking in rage, yes, but the animators really made sure to show that she's also SMART.

she's got excellent battle prowess, figuring out how to work around an overpowered ability of setting rules, and is more experienced than Queen. she's DANGEROUS and she has a goal that you completely believe she could deliver on. she wants to kill Queen. she wants to stop her from becoming X. and on one of those fronts, she succeeds.

When Queen tells her she can't even go to the tournament anymore and THAT's what takes her out of the Fear...sobbing...

it seems like getting Fear inflicted on you first changes your eye color before changing your shape to be some monster. and it can last quite a long time. I wonder if your Trust Value affects how this process works.

I did a lot of homework for this however please be nice if you notice I'm just incorect about aspects of Zam and Spokes characters, I did try really hard to get this clear and accurate however I totaly get I might be just totally off! My two main POVs and the POVs I love the most are Ash and Derap so those will naturally be my strongest :D

Sorry some of this doesn't make sense, honeslty I am so tired and a little done with this and might just come back and rework a lot of this later on in my rewatch and when I am more awake to get it more accurate, but here is the general consensus on the Server Lifeseal being alive, with Derapchu being its liver and Zam being its lungs. Have fun!!!

I've been thinking really hard about this particular fact about Lifesteal with how players interact with it as a being, conscious or unconscious or maybe even omniscient. The language sometimes used about aspects of it like its Cycles and its Abyss, is like talking about something living. It sometimes does feel like its living, and I actually feel like sometimes it shows itself with proof of it being living - And while it definitely is something that feels a little more prominent and unique this season, it's been around for a little while longer.

Zam is a player who thinks that the server is alive, or at least as something to respect as if it was living or even holy, and often seems to think of himself as the server's 'Chosen One'. Like the server chose him to protect its heart, Spawn It often does feel like, from my point of view, he feels that partially the server chose him to preserve its heart and to keep players gravitating towards it. Even before he discussed this, it felt like he already worshipped the Server as if it was a living being. When you'd watch him it would feel like when he was struggling, at his rock bottom, he was asking the server itself for support. In fights, it feels like, when you're watching him, he is asking the server itself to send him someone to help him - and often the server never responds, forcing him to do the work himself. If Zam doesn't do the work himself, ask the players who were on the surface, then he never got his prayers granted. In a way, his protecting of Spawn/the Heart of the Server, is apart of his cry for support from the server, and sometimes it feels like watching him look after Spawn it will provide him a support that a teammate cant, and a sense of security a teammate cant because Spawn could never betray him.

I do also feel like the Abyss/the Void is worshipped by Zam, and generally more people accept the Void as something to worship. He has been seen actually seeking the Void out for support and comfort when he was at his lowest of lowest during the seasons final, and I personally think that with Zam implying the Void and the Server both are conscious. With the implication that they are not just one in the same, but welcome him back into the void with open arms, and provide him comfort, can be taken as acknowledgement from the server. I also feel like Flame not just dying to the void once through Zams trap and also being the way that he bans himself creating a domino effect through players of leaving Zam an entire seasons worth of materials and aid. In a way, I think you can say that the Voids gift to Zam for missing it is taking Flame and banning him.

However, back to what I said first, it feels like he refers to his self-given title as Spawns protector, and sometimes (while not in these exact words) the Server itself's protector rather often, like it was something that the server gave to him and not a self-inflicted title. He talks about Spawn at points like it is a burden to protect it, something that he doesn't really have a option to do, when it really is. Ofcourse more often than not he doesn't mind protecting spawn, the problem is what protecting spawn entails and the people who take advantage of Zams goal, however that leads to the frustation with it. When Spawn is what you care about and not gaining/losing hearts, or teammates, then players will target that. During this season I feel like we saw Spawn being blown up or being threatened/in danger of being blown up more than we actually do see it thriving. When Zam talks about Spawn being blown up, he says "Don't they know that it hurts the server and makes it sad?" which feels like conformation that Zam does what he does with the idea of preventing the Server from being actually in pain but also protecting its emotions. But then there is the extra layer of the fact that maybe it really IS true that the server feels pain and emotions, meaning that it could be conscious and aware of what happens to the server, meaning that it really can choose players, have biases, and could have a real say in the direction on how the server goes.

I feel like there are multiple interpretations for how this impacts Zams' character. For one, the Server neglects him. Entirely not accepting him and choosing to ignore Zams' selfish wishes for refuge and support, or it could be sending signs and support through smaller signs, things that can be passed off as good luck or even actually just a naturally occurring thing. You can interpret that Zam is being punished for a variety of reasons but perhaps it isn't a punishment either, maybe it's just that the Server is disillusioned with the idea of protecting solely Spawn. Or, you can interpret it as Zam is being rewarded. Just not explicitly, it does it quietly. Through the void, through domino effects.

I do know that the reason we see Zam as something close to a saviour as the server in general, it stops being about just Spawn beyond a certain point. It ends up becoming about the whole server, trying to keep the server together, and you could say having to carry the Server on his back alone like Atlas did the earth. I think that, actually, protecting Spawn is protecting the Server. Zam cares about the server being playable for everyone, and that does mean his focus would end up on Spawn because it is just generally is the Heart of the Server like I keep saying. Its where everyone meets up, builds, and anchor themselves. (We're coming back to this aren't we, this is sounding familiar ;P). Zams prioirity has been the Server this season, not the players. The players are just a part of keeping the server playable.

Someone who goes directly against keeping the server playable is, unsurprisingly, Spoke. Spoke is constantly breaking the server, going against it, and finally he is constantly harming the server. What did he do this season? With Zam saying that when you damage the server, the server feels it and feels upset, what do the chunk bans do to it? Is it ethical for Spoke to do what he does to Lifesteal, to support the Woemhole for example, when there's the potential that it is living? When Spoke does this, it causes it pain. A lot of players sit in this same boat, of breaking the server and forcing it to bend to their will, into what they want it to be without accepting it as they're given. Ash is another player that is constantly exploiting and damaging the server, for a very long and intentional time.

Both are good examples of people that have had a disregard for both the Server and the Players. Spoke and Ash have never let the server be, needing to alter it in one way or another each and every season. There is a difference between what the two want to achieve when they do exploit; however, it isn't actually that big of a difference. Just the order that things come in. Spoke looks for fun, which he gets because he gets a form of enjoyment out of the power that comes with exploiting and breaking the server, whereas Ash looks for power - and when he does get that power from the server, he finds a sense of enjoyment in it. They are, however, as selfish as each other. They do this for selfish reasons.

This particular kind of selfishness, where they neglect the server and consequences, is a part of their personal cycles on Lifesteal. To seek out how to disconnect the Server from the World. Sometimes they can pause it, sure, but that is awfully rare and almost always temporary. It is a part of their nature ON the server to take away its autonomy. These two players, in their own way, get signs from the server. Sometimes it really is discovering exploits that weren't meant to be discovered, and sometimes it is choosing the right people to associate with, Squiddo being a very good example. But you could view some of these as the server sending it their way.

Speaking of the Cash Masons and to round back to why I originally brought them up, what is actually so important about what they did this season is that they managed to target the two aspects of the server, both the players and the Server itself. The two important pieces of the SMP, one representing Living and one representing Death. To be a player is to live on the server and to play on the server is to engage in the Lifesteal plug-in of Losing and Stealing hearts. When you throw Chunk bans into the Heart of the Server, making it so that the Players can't log on, you truly do have power over the SMP. I think that it shows the players pure disconection with the server to the point that they wouldn't consider it as living, or breathing, but as something to mould into themselves.

Finally, there is Derapchu. He is a player who actually knows that the server is alive, because he has seen it himself. He has actually felt what it is like to experience the Server as a being, and seen what its personality is. He didn't choose to be on the Player side of the coin in Lifesteal, he actually just chose to be Zams' other half. It's just that meant taking on the obligation as the Server's Necromancer, the Ying and Yang. Derapchu didn't care for the Server he cared for the People that made the server alive. The people who would go in and out of Spawn, not the Buildings in it. I've said this before, but he has no anchor to it. No attachment to Spawn, he has no reason to.

While Zam looked for comfort in the fact that Spawn was inanimate and lacked the ability to do anything, Derapchu leaned deeper into comfort from the players. Its from Zam, sure, but also all his past teammates, people he never allied with, people he only allied with, and now his future teammate. Derapchu filled in the Blanks with the players that Zam neglected, and Zam put his heart into the Server when Derapchu wouldn't. Derap admits that he couldn't care less about the server and he only cares for it because Zam does.

When he receives his award and his sign from the Server, you can take it a few ways. The one that I love, and the one that I personally latched myself onto, is that it is because of his determination. He never gave or faltered, something that Zam does. But also, he doesn't go out of his way to harm an aspect of Lifesteal in a way that you would expect, and is upset how the Chunkbans impact the players. I know that repeating myself here will be really annoying and I'm sorry, but the root of why he got to be rewarded with the satisfaction of seeing the 'No players left to revive' in chat is because he didn't accept Lifesteal, and how to play it. Another interpretation is that because he played such a heavy hand in the passive ending of the server. Him and Zams actions together head to not just the Server but the Players end undamaged, and together. Zams reward is finally achiving it, getting to log off in his Pink house after everything. But that ending was never going to be for Derapchu, that is the Server ending. He got to have his Player ending.

The Server Lifesteal, in my opinion, is living and breathing. Sunkissed Duo made it this season so that the two lines of the Server and the Players never met, kept running parallel, even after the abrupt stops. I doubt the intent of any of this was to take it as Alive. But I also think that its only fitting that the Server is Alive and experiences the Lifesteal gimmick that the players also get to experience. If the Lifesteal is alive then the Players are its parasites, but it is parasites that it needs. That is why they needed to make it equal between the two, giving the two respect and care and dedication. Derapchus unique approach to the Lifesteal gimmick made it so finally it was equal.

i do like the idea of ciel getting over his trauma through letting sebs penetrate him (but i don't think ciel could ever bring himself to directly order sebs to fuck him) and eventually feeling comfortable enough to enjoy it but i also want his sexual trauma to manifest when he penetrates sebs too because i do think there is something profoundly sad in the idea that ciel would think that penetration is an act of violence, a punishment for his unruly servant to humiliate him and that when he isn't receiving, he is inflicting pain, because that's what he's learnt.

in victorian society, the receptive role, the feminine/woman's role, is having something taken from you (in his case, he thinks his innocence, pride and dignity were lost and the cultists 'defiled' him by assaulting him sexually) so i like to think he finds it perplexing that sebs is very slutty unashamed about enjoying being penetrated by him, it would confuse ciel that he would ask for it by provoking him (again, i think he'd consider penetration a punishment) and maybe he could learn a thing or two about how sex should be like, i don't know i might be rambling but i love sex and i love these two characters a lot and i think they're the only ones who can ever be comfortable with each other sexually because god, as much as i love lizzy, she doesn't know what happened to him or even what scars he has on his body, let alone his heart. only sebastian knows it all.

Do you really think Sylus' VA didn't realise he was revealing himself by making that post saying he is voicing Hugo Vlad?

People knew the two characters were voiced by the same man since the very first appearance of the character. And they also already named him then, because he has been in other projects as well, and now he's confirmed it.

There is no way in hell that man didn't realise he was revealing himself as Sylus' VA by revealing himself as Hugo Vlad:

a. ZZZ is NOT a small little indie game no one pays attention to

b. speculation was everywhere already

c. these two HUGE gacha games will inevitably have a lot of overlap in players.

So seeing LADS fans harass people on twitter who point out the bloody obvious is insane behaviour.

If he'd wanted to stay anonymous, he wouldn't have revealed his role as Hugo Vlad, because there is no way in hell he didn't know people realised Hugo and Sylus are voiced by the same man.

And the faux concern about any of the VA being replaced the second people figure out who they are... come one now. The inciddent you're all referring to was brought on by a political statement by the VA (which is disgusting behaviour by the company but that's not the point here), NOT because people knew their name. Now I'm sure if Sylus' VA comes out and says he is Sylus, he could be in trouble. BUT he won't be in trouble just because people aren't deaf and can tell when they hear the same voice voice another character.

And hell, I get why he'd reveal himself as Hugo, not even because getting fan recognition of his work as Hugo must be nice, but because it's kinda difficult to built your career when your biggest role has to stay anonymous.

(If knowing who the guy behind the voice is ruins the game for you, well, that's on you. No one should have to cater their behaviour to keep your delulu in tact.)

I just hope people can stop being all self-rightous when going after people just saying they love the dude's work ON HIS OWN THREAD, simply because they need to have a target to inflict their misary on.

After dying: revive yourself after 3 second at the location of your death. Your max HP is set to 35 and an addional 5 second is added to the cooldown of every skills permanently. Your skills are put on cooldown when reviving.

Using You can't fall today this way deactivates it.

During last man standing: You can no longer revive yourself but everytime a minion detected you or the killer sees your aura, see the killer's aura for as long they see yours.

2nd passive:

Nothing for the flames to consumes

hi! I was curious as to what the context for your most recent A-Listers Danny Phantom art post was about. I was a little confused (even though it looks AMAZING) and was wondering if you could give me your yaps about the context of that scene! :D

So so so sorry for how late this reply is! I've been insanely dead on social media for the past however long. 

Thank you so much! To be honest, I didn't really set anything in stone for what exactly was happening in this scene. My thought process was just wanting to do something angsty about the A-listers since I thought they were kinda underutilized and had a lot of potential in the secret identity/double life aspect of the show (my absolute favorite part of superheroes that I think has unfortunately declined in usage as of late).

There's also something so deliciously juicy about those who worshipped and relied heavily on their protector now having to protect him, and something so cathartic about the bullies having to fear their victim when the power dynamic switches. You can just hear them thinking, "What's going on? Is he possessed/overshadowed? What is he going to do when he finds us?" Maybe even apologizing to him in their heads for every wrong they've ever inflicted on him in the hopes that Danny would take mercy on them.

So yeah, I don't really have an explanation for what's happening. Could be a shapeshifter, or something similar to what Poindexter did, or maybe that dreamcatcher. Maybe its a Corpse AU and some other ghost took over his body while he was out of it. I do think the intrigue is in not knowing exactly what's going on, so you're in the headspace of the characters, so that's what I'll leave you with. I do really like the implication though of this situation absolutely eviscerating Danny's social life and standing after it's all over to the point where people are scared of his human persona now; very angsty.

I do hope to make more A-lister content in the future someday, since I think they're so interesting from the secret identity/double life standpoint. Y/N Cookie charges towards the enemy and punches them to long range, and shortly after, multiple Cookies, including The Three Sisters, teleport into the center of the arena, and charge towards the enemy, trapping them in a brutal combo attack. During the onslaught, Y/N Cookie pulls their right hand back and charges a Ki blast from afar, then the Cookies teleport out of the way just as Y/N Cookie unleashes an bright gold energy wave, completely covering the enemy in gold and dealing insane damage.

REVIVE:

Y/N Cookie falls to one knee, covered in wounds and holding their arm in pain, and giving an angry stare at the enemy, tears in their eyes. As soon as the Cookies see this, they teleport to the center of the arena, then enter an absolutely enraged state, white auras cloaked around all of them. Y/N Cookie then holds Life Powder, secured within a ball of Ki, in their hands, and injects the ball into their body, healing slightly and weakly standing up. The Cookies then teleport back to the sidelines, and Y/N Cookie returns to the fight.

I actually dont have a lot of vamps (weird for me as the demon character guy, i would think i would have more spooky creatures but ig not, gotta step up my game ig), just these three (and two old ones i had in the past that were identical twin little girls, wee baby vampires. cant find em unfortunately. rip Venice and the other one it was another V name. They wrre 3 or 4 sweeps i think?)

The art for Cassie is so old though ouaghhhhhh

Keeshi and Fraika are hatched drinkers and Cassie is a turned drinker (she didnt die to become one, she was bitten by one)

Keeshi and Fraika grew up outside the caverns but Cassie lived within them for a little while before leaving them when she was roughly 6 sweeps old. She ended up going back as an older adult to form a rebel cavern sect that smuggles mutant grubs out.

Keeshi and Fraika are siblings but lived vastly different lives bc Keeshi became a street rat after running away from home (somewhere around 4 sweeps) because their lusus was outwardly aggressive towards all three trolls she was caring for. Keeshi just got the worst of it on account of her whole bleeding from her pores thing (which is pretty ironic coming from a Chupacabra). Keeshi grew up pretty feral and often attacked trolls for blood (if she goes without it for too long she enters this kinda torpor state where she slows down and gets very lethargic) on the streets and lived offa scraps so she's very small (coming in at a staggering 4'9). Fraika on the other hand stayed with their lusus because he was younger and as a result didn't come to rely so hard on bloodfeeding like his sister, so he doesn't not get inflicted with that low power mode experience if he goes without blood for a long time.

I haven't put much thought into how Cassie got turned, she's just kinda... one. She doesn't really go out and about much on account of being albino (she's an avg jade blood shes just got the lack of pigmentation on the outside so i made her colored features lighter) so she doesn't really feed off of trolls. She is pretty easily satiated on lusus blood and stores it in neat little packets in cold storage for if she needs it. Her and her matesprit (a less common male jade, no drinker trait, just a normal guy) take care of a lot of young children. Mostly grubs and young trolls that Cassie has just kinda found out in the world either abandoned or runaways (theres also a nonzero chance that some of them are mutants shes smuggled out of the caverns and adopted herself). Her and her matesprit have a single child together and then like... a small classroom's worth of adoptive children/fosters/anything adjacent.

Brennan’s talked before about how as a poor young adult he lived in New York and struggled with food security. He tells a story of going to frozen yogurt places for free samples and a cheap dumpling spot because it was a lot of food.

His opinions on food and his described behaviours around food make a lot of sense in that context. He may be successful now and can be assured he can eat again when he’s hungry, but it appears he has legitimate trauma around his experiences with poverty because what he’s humorously describing is a trauma response. His mind hasn’t gotten rid of the anxiety of “I’m eating now so I better make it count because I don’t know when I will again.”

Because he’s a comedian he manages to frame it as a joke, but there’s certainly an underlying sadness. It also informs Evan Kelmp’s characterization. Capitalism is the root issue here and poverty is state-sanctioned economic abuse.

Anyway, I hope he’s doing well and taking care of himself.
