The Israeli army has announced the names of four fallen soldiers:

🇮🇱 Gideon Ilani, 35, from Asael.

🇮🇱 Etay Perry, 36, from Modi'in.

🇮🇱 Eviatar Cohen, 42, from Kfar Saba.

🇮🇱 Gal Becher, 34, from Oranit, died in a military traffic accident in the south of the country.

To date, 101 soldiers have died in combat in the Gaza Strip.

426 soldiers have died since the outbreak of war on October 7.

Their Majesties Seen Arriving At Lyrian Castle

Due to a scheduled restoration project at the Windenburg Palace, Their Majesties King Arden and Queen Regina have retreated to the countryside. The two will remain in residence at Lyrian Castle in Harden for the summer season.

The castle, which overlooks the Cerulean Sea, has been in the family for over four hundred years. It started as the main residence for the first Duke of Ancastor, Crown Prince Asael, and was last occupied by His Majesty's great-grandfather, King Victor II.

The sprawling castle estate has been the summer residence for the Royal Family for countless years, though recently it hasn't been used much for holidays since the King's children have become adults busy with their own families. The only one of His Majesty's children to consistently live at the castle with him and the Queen each summer has been the Princess Annaliese who, rumor has it, was noticeably absent during move in day.

Now the princess is also an adult like her older brothers with her own life, but she had yet to officially move out of the Windenburg Palace which has served as her official residence since her father ascended the throne. While she has stayed at other residences on and off over the years for travel and her schooling she has always seemed to consider her home with her father and stepmother.

For this reason, it was quite the shock when a palace insider spilled that His Majesty's youngest child is not welcome at Lyrian Castle.

After the shocking proof of Princess Ana's involvement with the Duke of Margate the King was reportedly livid. Our sources within the palace claim that several arguments were had over the phone between His Majesty and his daughter, the last of which ended with a shouting match so loud one of his aides feared he damaged his vocal cords.

"I've only ever seen him that furious once," our source claims. "During that Earl Tolliver business. He has never raised his voice that way with Her Highness. He made sure she knew she was never to come before him until she sorted out her priorities."

Well, who would have thought the King's most favored, perfect child would turn out to be such a disappointment to him? Poor girl must be devastated!

Heretical by howlish (post azure moon) - this is the bible, the gateway drug to claudevain. an actual novel of slowburn romance, political drama, attempted assassinations, heists, and more. the way this writer understands Sylvain and Claude, both individually and together, is so real and thoughtful and perfect.

all this riot of light by asael (post crimson flower) - this one is melancholic but bittersweet in its nostalgia. Claude and Sylvain find themselves bereft in the aftermath of the war, but their unexpected reunion is light and hopeful.

fox trap by omobot (white clouds) - cute and sweet! Sylvain gets turned into a fox and then runs into Claude?! Ohhh the absolute fluff in this... my heart melts.

Salt, Stone, and Secrets by timehopper (mermaid AU) - Claude finds a new face in Derdriu, mysterious yet alluring... I love the world this writer sets for this AU, it feels like a dreamy and romantic fairytale.

The Tent by retikrit (verdant wind) - I can only give you this summary: "Claude discovers that people are having a lot of sex." There is so much pining and fleeting touches here. the banter, the tension ... I adore their interactions, the inner turmoil Claude goes through in trying to understand how he feels about Sylvain. It's a little horny, a tiny bit angsty, and very endearing.

It was a passing comment on a stranger's lips, something vague about wanting to learn more about the Vanguard. It pissed Asael off to hear such nonsense and the thick threads of frozen water he began to tug at would've visualized his displeasure. Unfortunately, the glint of Olympian rings distracted him for a moment and his weave misfired, launching his frigid magic haphazardly into the crowd.

Asael didn't have time to stick around and get the scope of his accidental destruction. He slipped away in the resultant chaos, knowing a nearby entrance into the Bazaar. Clutching his hurting, ice-covered hand to his chest, he hoveled through his pain into the darkest alley he could reach, worried that the Olympians were still following him. Asael was visibly in rough shape, however stepping in pain was just second nature to him. When he walked back into another, his immediate reaction was to leap away and raise his uninjured hand, demonstrating that no matter how he may have looked, he was ready for a fight still.

"Well? Think I'm easy all you want, but I'm not," he says, hiding the strain in his voice well enough. He wasn't coughing up blood yet so he could pull off a few more spells before passing out from pain. "You won't get anything if you rob me, I don't got anything. Except for an ass-kicking. That I can give you for free."
