what’s something that annoys you when reading a fic?? 👀

i hate hate HATE in enemies to lovers (het vers.) when the male love interest is just straight up misogynistic. i’ve probably said this before but idc idc ill say it a million times. it makes me really hesitant to try enemies to lovers because if a man is calling a girl a slut or using other misogynistic derogatory language or genuinely damaging her life and mental health or anything along those lines i will NOT be able to see him as a romantic lead i will only be able to see him as DEAD IN THE GROUND. enemies to lovers should not be man is genuinely an irredeemable asshole that needs a tranq dart to the neck until another piece of shit man hits on girl and he gets weirdly protective.

i also hate people who see transmans that don't pass or are 'femminine' and like being like that and treat them as exagerated or fool for having dysphoria and disliking people misgendering them or forcibily feminizing them as if just bc they aren't like the stereotypical men they have to accept being treated like women. Specially if they use things like pregnancy as a justtification for it too

Same, trans men’s/mascs’ gender presentation does not make us any less transmasc, no matter what. We deserve to be gendered correctly—as every trans person does—regardless of presentation. I’m still a guy when I’m wearing full makeup and a dress and high heels and painted nails. Cis men are allowed to do that and still be known as a man while having the exact same expression is used to invalidate us. I’m sincerely sorry that even the trans community has to be reminded of this in 2024.

He loves cooking and its important to him so he wants to share that with you

I think cooking and almost ‘providing’ for the people he cares about is his way of showing that he cares about you and wants you to be happy and safe

I think I’m just describing acts of service lol

His love languages are acts of service and words of affirmation

Yakumo is a very kind, sensitive soul – and that has caused him to become somewhat of a people pleaser

His worst fear is for you to think he doesn’t love or care you – because he does. He loves you so much that he feels the need to show it both with his words and actions

Realistically – in a relationship between the both of you, Eiden is going to be there as well

I just can’t see a world in which Yakumo isn’t hopelessly yearning for him

But just because he is also involved with Eiden, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you any less

In fact, if you and Eiden got along; I think that would make him even more smitten with the both of you

The two loves of his life getting along (or even… ‘getting along’)? Heart eyes, swooning, nose bleed

I swear, he really do be fainting like this is some romantic comedy or something smh

But even though he loves Eiden, he makes it very EXTREMELY clear that he will always love you as well – and he’ll do everything he can to make sure you don’t just know that you’re loved, but you also feel that you’re loved

Yakumo is a very timid, but eager partner

Hes excited and eager, but shy and easily embarrassed

PDA (or any displays of affection really) will never fail to make him blush red like a tomato

And any insinuation of ‘other activities’ will make him stutter and fluster like a victorian peasant witnessing a woman’s ankles for the first time

But despite his timidness, he really is so happy when you cuddle up to him and kiss him

Running your fingers through his hair will make him shiver with delight and fondness and he’ll look at you with the most adoring gaze

Yakumo is a shy kisser – even with years of practice, he kisses like hes about to bolt

But prolong the contact and he’ll melt into a puddle

He never knows where to put his hands so at first they’ll softly tremble at his sides or in the air – but when he really starts to feel it, his shaking hands will move to grip onto your elbows or shoulders

He will never voluntarily go to grab your waist because he is so nervous that hes going to accidently make you uncomfortable (even though hes the sweetest little thing ever)

He only uses nicknames sometimes, when hes feeling particularly loving and doting

His go-to is sweet and simple – a softly mumbled “dear” as he passes you a plate of steaming food

If hes feeling particularly sensitive or emotional, he might bust out the ‘my love’ or ‘love of my life’
