This one is a large/ambitious image, but here is a section. The idea behind it is “gentleness is a choice” — a major hc of mine for Cody in the RepGA fix-it AU, right alongside the “Cody as a military prodigy that could be (and occasionally is) terrifying”.

I talked a little about this one here, but it involves Scott's sister coming to visit him on a chase. He doesn't want her there and harshly tells her to leave. So to get back at him, she decides to make friends with one of the other chasers....a certain Tornado Wrestler. Here's a little sneak peek:

You moved around the side of the truck so you were in front of him once more, and you tried again taking a different tactic…the truth. In your normal voice, you said, “Okay, I’m sorry. Listen, here’s the deal. I came here to surprise my brother with a visit and as soon as he saw me, he told me he doesn’t want me here and I should fuck off out of his way.” Tyler looked up at you once more, his brow furrowed. “Your brother said that to you?” You rolled your eyes. “Well, not in those exact words but the sentiment was there. The point is, he told me he didn’t care where I went as long as I leave him and his team alone. So, I plan on respecting his wishes…and wondered if I could hang out with your team instead.” “Well–” “Please! It’ll just be for a day or two. I promise not to get in the way or mess with any of your work. I just know he has a problem with you guys and seeing me with you will drive him insane."   Putting down the wrench he was holding, Tyler shook his head. “Hold on…who are we talking about now? Who’s your brother?” You realized you needed to get better at introducing people into a conversation before jumping right in. “Scott? He works for Storm Par?” Tyler hesitated so you sighed and turned towards the other group of storm chasers at the other end of the lot. With one hand on your hip, you pointed lazily with the other, “The surly tall one who never takes off his stupid baseball cap?” Instantly, he straightened up and you knew you had piqued his interest. Chuckling, he asked, “Wait, so you’re telling me Mr. Clipboard and Chewing Gum is your brother?” You nodded. “And you want my help messing with him?” “Yeah, that about sums it up. So, will you do it?” Tyler leaned over the side of the truck and gave you a wide grin. “Oh, Sweetheart, you’ve come to the right place.”

Truth spell, insults are lies if you don’t believe them - cursed Merlin, Arthur isn’t actually a dollophead

So it’s only a one shot with few thousand words, but basically Merlin gets cursed with a truth spell by a witch who was frustrated that Emrys hadn’t even told the once and future king that magic isn’t good or bad, it just is. He’s not compelled to say anything, his secrets are his own, but if he tries to lie the truth comes out.

They realise what the curse is when Arthur asks Merlin if he’s okay in his own way of insulting him and Merlin can only compliment him in return,

This is sort of the general vibe of it summed up in a bit of dialogue:

Arthur: Merlin, why the hell would you jump in front of a curse!

Merlin: I wasn't going to let you get hurt.

Arthur: You idiot! You’re not a knight!

Merlin, increasingly more passionately complimenting him as he tries and fails to insult him: Well you're a reckless good man and I care about you too much! I- I mean- you're a great king! You're smart and pretty!

(Arthur’s stood there looking shocked, unable to react, getting slightly flustered at being called pretty. Merlin realises there’s one insult that still works because it’s become a term of endearment for him)

Merlin: Prat! Haha! It works!

Merlin: You're a prat and I can't bear the thought of you getting hurt!

Merlin: Damnit! Why isn’t this working?!

Arthur, realising what’s happening, teasing: Why isn’t what working, Merlin?

Merlin: Calling you a kind hearted, too good, smart and talented golden kingly prat! I give up! *storms off into the woods*

Then there’s a confession, cute Merthur moments, and Arthur gets to learn about magic because Merlin needs to tell him the trr about it before the spell can be broken.

If anyone has any ideas for what I can name this, it’d be greatly appreciated. The titles are always the worst part of fics

oh, excellent choice. this one has layers

so this was a little diddy i came up with @lunart-ce (check out their stuff i love the game changer vids they have) and we were thinking up what game changer clips would work well with which op characters for funsies. and this resulted me in having the best idea anyone probably had ever, too bad i didnt have to motivation to see it out.

So i was thinking up a situation where Garp wanted to fuck with his grandsons because they didnt follow down the path of becoming marines, so he invites them to his game show.

The idea sounded fun enough and he promised to not try to recruit or capture them whilst they were there so the three brothers hopped along to play some silly little games with their gramps.

One of the games garp would play with them is the Sam Says episode with all three brothers, and the other would be the yes or no episode with just Sabo, but with koby and helmeppoas the other two contestants.

in both the games sabo would "be" brennan, luffy would be izzy, ace would be Lou, helmeppo would be Zac, and koby would be Ally.

So basically garp would invite the brothers over so that they can all together play a game that they cannot win at unless they listen to everything that Garp tells them to do, and so that Sabo plays a game that he cannot physically win at at all.

okay so... you know whats really funny here. i think made this while for the first time polls popped up on tumblr. and i had this werid idea of like... "choose your adventure" kind of story telling. but... lets be honest i don't have much... time to draw all the options? but this is still like... a sort of darker AU which is deer to my heart. and till today i don't know if they should have a happy end or not. sokka got shipwrecked. and to make his situation even worse zuko poped up and and took a bite of him.

the whole siren idea is more based on the sinister one. the one drowning and eating seamen. and zuko is now out to eat sokka. i have some plot lines written out. -sokka playing with zuko a game of riddles to buy himself some more time -zuko being unable to stay in the sun so sokka has to decide if he lest him take shelter underneath his make shift raft or lure him out of there to burn him. at the end sokka does get saved and can escape for some time? because zuko did end up biting him. and now sokka cant stop hearing him in his head, and zuko can still follow him. so... watch out sokka! zuko is on his way to eat you up but i still don't know if he means it literally or in a more plessurable way...

CAN WE HAVE A FLING WITH LELAND SINCE HE'S NOT AN RO

Okay, nonnie, I'm hijacking your ask to talk about a possible solution to the "Leland-problem". As you guys have probably noticed, Leland (the singer of Lines and Lies) ended up being pretty popular and folks have been asking for a chance to get romantic with him.

Given he's got a very small but important role in this story, which will not be fulfilled if I were to make him into an RO. However, I've also been reluctant to consider making him a fling because that would take the romanticism out of his side plot imo. Not that one night stands are inherently a mood killer--- I simply think Leland's side story would be more wistful if his and MC's relationship didn't progress to that physical level. Besides, he kind of strikes me as demisexual??? I'm not sure yet, I'm still getting a feel for him.

Anyway, I had a way cooler idea. I want to give MC the option to go on one (1) date with Leland. There's a reason why it'll only be one, and Leland is going to be very forward about it, so it's not like he's gonna be ghosting MC.

But after this date, he'll be gone for a long time, and MC's personal life and career will move forward very rapidly, so he'll fade out of their life very quickly. That way, it'll be all the more wistful and ruefully nostalgic when he makes his next appearance.

The date will be for MC alone, it will in no way impact any of the other RO routes. I honestly think it's kind of a genius idea. Lemme know your thoughts.

Yes 😭 I think I’ve talked about this before, but Viktor ended up sleeping with at least one light open to prevent him getting spooked whenever MC came to him to ask for help with something in the middle of the night.

The first time it happened, MC had a nightmare and went to Viktor. He was greeted with MC’s glowing eyes in his face, causing him to yell in surprise which in turn caused little MC to cry even more.
