so I forgot to talk about this but just fyi it’s entirely realistic for your whumpee get lightheaded/almost pass out even if they’re good at dealing with pain and/or not particularly panicky.

sometimes your body just reacts even when you can rationalize that you’re fine (even after the fact) because your adrenaline just TANKS. insanely frustrating to deal with, but also insanely good potential for situations to put a whumpee in. :^)

brought to you by being a medical assistant who has a pretty good pain tolerance and is not easily squeamish, but still almost passing out after getting a thumb abscess drained.

Hrmm... put together a roommates quiz finally after years of thinking it would be an interesting idea lol.. Though obviously not meant to be taken super seriously, I just like thinking about this aspect of personality compatibility. Like yeah, maybe you could get along with someone just chatting with them, but living together is such a different thing. .. curiouse...

#Not that I think that many people would really care since I barely know anyone on tumblr in real life and would never live with random #internet strangers lol but... idk.. I made this to give to friends from time to time and thought... why not post it here too #just out of sheer curiosity if anyone takes it what the most common results would be and etc.#My initial assumption is that most people would probably fall into the 'maybe' category and that either extreme of 'best roomates'#and 'worst roomates' would be the least common #very long also since I like to be thorough I guess #THOUGH... upon second thought... tumblr is home of the like Weird Introverts Who Sit Inside All The Time.. so maybe it's more #likely to come across compatible poeple on here. given that many of the questions are about how meticulous #people are with their scehdules or how often they invite friends over or if they like to mostly stay inside etc.#(since personally I think having a roommate coming and going and bringing random people over all the time would be too chaotic #lol... I need a peaceful quiet household)#Also I kind of don't like the way uquiz seems to do results. I was hoping it would be a number tally? I used some sort of quiz making site #before where you weight the question responses with a number (so the 'Best' response is worth a 0 #The worst is worth like 5 points. and all the in between are like 1 - 4 points or something). So then it is actually possible to have a #''perfect score'' category (someone who gets a literal 0 points). and also you could weight some EXTREMELY bad answers #to add like +10 to the score instead of just +5. And someone who got the MAX possible points would be the WORST compatibility. etc.#But uquiz seems to just be like ''which category did you score towards the MOST'. So someone can give some pretty bad answers #that are VERY non compatible. but as long as MOST of their answers landed in a 'compatible' category #then they would still be listed as compatible despite still actually having some dealbreakers in there. Which is also possible with the #'every answer is a number amount' ranking system too. but I feel like that one does allow for a little more customization #and accuracy (like making the dealbreakers add like...+40 to the score or something so that #there's basically NO way that someone could answer with one of those and still get a good score. Or the ability to have a literal #'perfect score' (getting a zero) etc.#BUt anyway lol... inchresting.. inchresting... curious to consider maybe making a uquiz #for the characters in the gameI'm making like.. which npc are you type quiz or something #now that I've made one and seen how it works.. hrmm hrmm....#(< game will not even be done for like another year but still thinking about nonsense like this lol)

starship au thts the same except the planet its set on is pnf404 and bug is a pikmin. the characters r the same characters theyre just like pikmin creatures and the starship rangers r like hocotations or koppaites and also maybe the rescue corp instead of the starship rangers but maybe not bc the rescue corp randomly going to a planet makes no sense actually makes a lot more sense for it to be hocotaite frieght or like. the koppaites going to pnf404 for fruit maybe but honestly they can still just be the starship rangers but pikmin version. the point is it wld be so slay . whos with me .

Always funny to me when my coworkers notice how much of a germaphobe I am when they see me wipe down my cart in the morning. I dont just wipe the handle, I wipe the top of the sides and the top part of the baby seat, places where people grab other than the handle. Then I use hand sanitizer bc by that point I've touched: the cart, the scanner locker screen and locker, my scanner (also wipe that shit down, yuck), my lock, and the spray bottle. So yucky places.

I mean hey maybe I'm not giving my immune system that boost of exposure, but I'm also not giving it covid, norovirus, or influenza from touching the cart and scanner so 🤷‍♀️

had to go (near) bgc today......... I was so STRESSED just being there. I haven't been there in years but I get flashbacks to how bad commuting to and from bgc was like. and that stress is just gonna follow me every time I'm near that area

ofc no one here knows what I'm talking about except for maybe like a handful of people, but just know that if you're ever in metro manila, do NOT believe anyone who says it's nice to be in bgc. it is a soulless capitalistic haven without good public transportation. dude I'd rather commute to makati, or hell, mall of asia than bgc. bgc is a hellscape (if it's not apparent from the post, I live in north metro manila) (this is also funny bc like. it shouldn't be terrible to go to bgc bc it's quite near makati but makati is sooooo much more accessible. commuting to and from bgc and makati itself is also its own nightmare)

#mine musings #my commuting skills got put to the test but since i refuse to drive (i get driving anxiety) i still got it (finger guns)#like to get home i rode: a jeep. a minibus. the mrt. and fx #should've ridden a tricycle too so i could say i was testing out all the transportation systems we have in the metro lol #if i did a different route i could've ridden P2P then trike #only the minibus was unplanned. it took me 2.5h to get home........ and that was BEFORE the rush hour. i want to cry #bc i KNOW if i had left later the commute would take me 3.5h. at least #what's worse is that that place i was going to wasn't even really INSIDE bgc #BUT when i was going home i rode a jeep that should've gone to guada but the driver didn't want to follow that route lmao #the route ended in market2x which..... is inside bgc................ ofc he told me beforehand and i was like. fine #i can take a minibus from there to guada. also for some reason the jeeps/minibus seldom show up in the road i was in anyway #like i even asked the guard outside about it. the road i was in was a car road... the minibuses and jeeps go there but not often #anyway i used to work there so i'm conditioned to always feel anxious when i'm close to the area #similarly i'm conditioned to feel relieved when the mrt crosses the boundary to qc lol #and mind you qc itself is BIG but commuting within it is more reasonable to me (except if you're in somewhere like. sauyo novaliches)

I HAVE A THEORY ABOUT BRONICA LOTTABLOG!!!

(And Alegander, and the Snakolytes,,,)

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE ISLAND OF BIGSNAX, ‘SNAXBURG GETS SPOOKED’, TRIFFANY’S MISSIONS, AND EVERYTHING POST-MAJOR CELEBRATION AHEAD!

(TL;DR at the bottom of the post)

I know that people were debating what Alegander Jamfoot meant when he mentioned that Bronica Lottablog had gone somewhere that Clumby shouldn’t follow her to?

Well, I’ve been thinking about it for a while now, and I think I have an answer. I, dandelion-spine, believe that Bronica Lottablog went through the door in the mountains and ended up being fully snakified in the Undersnax.

From what we learn from Lizbert in the Undersnax, becoming the Queen of Bugsnax (the only way to survive the fate she met as far as we can tell) is very difficult and energy-consuming.

Seeing as Bronica was pretty old by the time that she went to Snaktooth (based on Triffany saying that Bronica didn’t have teeth when she left for Snaktooth), she may have not had the energy to survive the snakification process.

This would also make sense because Bronica’s last known location was Frosted Peak based on her journal, and that’s where the door is. Another thing to note is that her bones are notably missing, but there are bones there.

My theory? The skull at the top of Frosted Peak belonged to a member of Bronica’s expedition who was waiting for her to get back. If Bronica had an expedition, it would make sense that she’d be able to open the door.

Maybe the other members of her expedition didn’t enter the door with her, and just waited outside for her return?

Now this is a bit of a stretch, but it’s entirely possible that the third member of the trio who opened the door was Alegander Jamfoot?

Now we’re getting into ANOTHER theory.

What if Bronica was meant to become the Third Queen of Bugsnax?

What if that supposed trio that opened the door before the events of Lizbert’s expedition were sent by the Snakolytes to make Bronica into the Queen of Bugsnax? What if Bronica was a member of the Snakolytes?

Maybe Clumby just went to the island to find Bronica, and found Alegander instead? Maybe he was being punished for failing the mission, or being punished in Bronica’s stead? This is where I can’t really give an answer. We don’t know enough about the Snakolytes at this moment to form any conclusion on this part.

Now that I’ve run out of things to discuss, let’s summarize!

TLDR; My theory is that Bronica was chosen by the Snakolytes to become the next Queen of the Bugsnax, and went to Snaktooth with Alegander and at least one other person.

The three of them opened the door to the Undersnax, Bronica went in alone, and she didn’t survive to become the Queen. She instead was fully snakified.

The other person died on top of Frosted Peak presumably waiting for Bronica, and Alegander ended up being punished by the Snakolytes and sent to the Triplicate Space.
