L LAWLIET X Y/N HEADCANONS!!
Tumblr media
(not my picture!)
Sorry this took me so long to get around to!
I hope you enjoy it <3
• Will wake you up to bounce ideas off of you. Doesn’t even care if you give him feedback - he just wants to yap about his thought process.
• doesn’t cook often but is surprisingly good at it. That is… when he’s not too lost in thought… good thing he keeps a fire extinguisher in the kitchen…
• he doesn’t sleep very often, but once the sleep deprivation starts getting to him, he can get a bit clingy. He needs convincing to slow down and get some rest, but cuddles are a good method.
• likes to closely observe you, taking in all your details. He knows every intricacy of your being. He always notices instantly if anything has changed.
• likes to play games of luck with you, since strategy games against him are pretty much useless and he knows this.
• a sore loser. Pretends to pout to make you feel sorry for him. He’s childish and he knows it. Then again, the pouting usually ends up in him getting a forehead kiss, so… maybe he’s onto something…
• Again, will wake you up at stupid hours of the night just to have your company. somehow he finds his way into your room even when you lock the door… but of course, he’d stop if you asked him to.
• can occasionally be found in a dark room with headphones on blaring the loudest most chaotic noise possible. Also likes 2000s scene pop.
• if not the chaos music, he is also fond of ocean sounds… that is, until he gets so absorbed in it that he feels like he’s drowning and freaks himself out…
• likes puzzle games like sudoku or crosswords. He frequently sends you his latest records and challenges you to beat his scores
• goes through your spam emails and cleans it out for you.
• yes, he will buy you pads/tampons if needed. He doesn’t see what the fuss about it is.
• seems a bit distant, but you better believe he gets secretly anxious about you. When you’re out late, when you’re sick, when he doesn’t know where you are, if youve been sleeping or eating properly… it’s not that he’s a control freak, he’s just overly concerned for your well-being.
• is either calm and collected or acting as if somebody is dying. There is no in between.
• too much caffeine knocks him out.
• Enjoys flustering you on purpose, finding it cute when you get slightly embarrassed. Only about trivial things, though.
• is a good listener. He adores hearing you talk, and all the things you could possibly say. Be ready, though, sometimes he asks a lot of questions.
• the type of guy to actually stop tickling you when you say stop.
• watches tv with you but ALWAYS falls asleep halfway through. He’s basically never made it through a movie without falling asleep. Though, it’s usually only for a few minutes. He pretends he didn’t.
• his ears get red when hes embarrassed.
• is always hungry. Will 100% be a snack buddy at any time you want, just say the word.
• doesn’t understand insecurities you have and actually is surprisingly uplifting when you’re upset.
• he likes to buy you stuff to spoil you.
• gets irritated when you spend your money on useless stuff. “You coulda just asked me, Yknow…” // doesn’t pay you back when you go off by yourself.
• holds things over your head in a teasing sort of way.
• laughs around you
• enjoys resting his head in your lap.
• he once claimed to be allergic to dogs just to avoid going to your friends house with you. Lies.
• Shares his sweets with you, but he gets another dish for you, not really liking to share the same dishes/utensils.
• if you meet eyes from opposite sides of the room, he will wink at you. Every time. It’s a bit funny. Sometimes he ends up making himself laugh doing this.
• sometimes when he thinks no one is watching, he will be muttering to himself until he makes himself laugh.
• can’t stand getting a stomachache. He is such a baby deep down. In fact, nobody knew this about him until there was you.
• plays minecraft with you. Sucks at survival mode for some reason. Immediately built a castle out of pink wool after discovering pink sheep exist.
• is very grateful that you put up with his quirks. He knows he can be hard to deal with. He apologizes a lot.
• Goes on park dates with you. Mostly enjoys messing with the ducks. Does not enjoy getting chased by the geese.
• hides behind you when he sees a bee.
• his hands are very soft and gentle. He has the softest most careful touch of anyone you’ve ever known.
• uses a disproportionate amount of emojis. He only uses them when messaging you, though.
• play fights you when things get too quiet.
• Unexpectedly very emotionally available.
• doesn’t really like pet names, but sometimes calls you buttercup.

Introducing... Steal Off... 2!
Tumblr media
That's right. We all love poll stealing, and although we've made the decision to discontinue it for the grand final of the Les Mis Shipping Showdown, we couldn't just let it go entirely. Which is why we're overjoyed to announce Steal Off 2, an absolute free for all to determine which ship from our original bracket is The most loved when it comes to dedicated creators of excellent fanworks.
You heard us, ALL 32 SHIPS entered into this tournament WILL be eligible for submissions, regardless of when they were eliminated. So here really is how [your OTP] can still win.
As a reminder, here's the original bracket (we'll also include a plain text list of ships under a Read More at the end of this post for anybody unable to see/read from the image.)
Tumblr media
Did your favourite niche ship like Valjean/Fauchelevent or Fantine/Favourite not make the cut? No worries! As part of Steal Off 2 we will also be holding a separate Newcomers' Championship for those of you who want to show your love for the rarepairs, crackships, etc. that didn't make it to the bracket proper - and who knows, perhaps the steals we receive could be used as supporting evidence for their inclusion in future mini tournaments? 👀
Now onto the boring but vitally important part:
Da Rules
Submissions for Steal Off 2 will OPEN at 00:01 BST (UTC + 1) on Monday 21st April 2025, and close at 19:30 BST (UTC + 1) on Wednesday 30th April 2025.
Any works submitted late OR early will not be counted. Even if it's early or late by one (1) singular calendar minute. If you submit early we might be niceys and politely remind you to resubmit your fanwork once the submission window has opened, but as this rule is intended to avoid overloading the mods during a period where we are both very busy IRL, we might also just get annoyed with you and say you've wasted your chance and your fanwork doesn't count anymore. So don't take that risk!
The submission guidelines and scoring system remain exactly as they did for steal works submitted as part of the bracket, with one exception - ONLY brand new works (or brand new chapters/instalments of existing works) will count for this submission period, with the previous backdating clause now null and void.
As per our post from the other day, works deemed as egregiously low effort, designed to exploit loopholes in the scoring system, or which contribute to a pattern of spamming from a specific fanbase or creator may see their scores reduced or the offending works disqualified from the contest entirely. Part of the reason we have given you a) a nearly ten day submission window and b) almost three weeks' notice before submissions even open is to allow you to focus on creating quality fanworks with real time, effort, and love put in, as opposed to focusing purely on The Points of it all. Think of this as a fandom-wide fanworks fest that just so happens to have a winner at the end ;)
Finally, please note that points from previous rounds WILL be carried over and added into the overall total, so here's your current leaderboard by overall steal points:
1. Cosette/Éponine (168) 2. Enjolras/Combeferre (88.6) 3. Jehan/Montparnasse (76.1) 4. Valjean/Javert (70.3) 5. Turning Woman #3/Musichetta (19.1) 6. Courfeyrac/Marius (18) 7. Enjolras/Grantaire (15.6) 8. Combeferre/Courfeyrac (5.5) 9= Marius/Cosette (5.3) 9= Joly/Bossuet/Musichetta (5.3) 11. Éponine/Montparnasse (2.7) 12. Enjolras/Feuilly (2.2) 13. Combeferre/Grantaire (0.7)
Have fun and happy stealing!

Note
been a while since i made a hot take so i might as well make some take dump (i don't wanna spam hot takes that i don't have much to cover on)
- the recent phestival was quite fun! there were lots of new maps, skins, and also a new phighter and gamemode. i wasn't aware of the bad sportsmanship between the two teams mentioned here and there since i kind of avoid bogcom and the general phighting fans like a plague. genuinely hope those in team mermaids still had a nice time regardless of the possible toxicity faced during the phest :[ (if there's anyone that can explain the whole sportsmanship thing either in a different hot take or the mod themselves i'd appreciate it)
- escort feels like a hit or miss gamemode. sometimes it's fun as hell, but at other times you can literally predict which team is going to win by viewing the scores within the first minute of the match. it genuinely feels like a "walk just to be 1v5d' on" simulator for like half of the match, and the long ass overtime doesn't help with that either.
- i'm sorry but captain rocket looks like a colonizer for some reason in terms of appearance??
- i am NOT a fan of some people calling coil 2.0 "the banic skin". sure it may resemble him but you don't see anyone else calling catshot "the soda skin" or eggbox as "the key after key skin" regularly. it's something harmless but it's just a pet peeve of mine
- the annihilate change has got to be one of the worst changes made in my opinion. is either team effective with killing? sucks for you! 1 minute left on a match and you don't even get to hear pandemonium coda or have any high tension against each other because some team already reached 20 kills and most matches just..... don't last very long anymore!! are both teams slow with the killing? sucks for you! have fun spending 10 more minutes on overtime to get the required kill amount while no one is practically dying due to a team comp issue or a skill issue (in eliminating people)! the match ending early would help with extremely one-sided matches, but most of the time it's fairly balanced and a close game for both teams. every time i get an annihilate round now i just lose the will to do my best since the matches would end early either way.
- the dutchman scythe skin is really cool imo. a bit confused with the glowing hat, but a friend of mine speculated that it could represent a jellyfish? either way, for a simple design it's really appealing to me.
- ngl i feel like the phighting hot takes have become more hostile, pessimistic and downright aggressive based on my observations
Honestly, I think the main reason Phighting Hot Takes may feel that way is simply because I don’t really care about Phighting anymore. I just keep the blog running because people like it.

The controversial post that I mentioned on my birthday (aka Tuesday, this post is going up on either Thursday 11pm or Friday asscrack of dawn)
The purpose of this post is to clarify a variety of things just in case I go missing Friday afternoon, but due to certain events on my birthday it turned into an exposé + vent post. Even with such circumstances, I hope you can take away some knowledge about me and other people from this post.
WARNINGS: Private matters that have already been dealt with either a few days or even months ago that I’m needlessly bringing to light, mentions of death threats, and lost of fucked up shit in general.
Saii (@/monochrome-cropcrown) dismissed a really violent meltdown I had the day before my birthday and tried using her visit to the hospital as an excuse for not giving a fuck or even bothering to read not even 1 message from the 1 hour worth of distressed and downright concerning messages I had spammed her with an hour and a half ago. We got into a screaming match and she blocked me, but a few hours later she unblocked me, and started harassing me with messages basically victim blaming me for not being god and being unable to control my emotions, then blocked me again before I even had a chance to respond. Here is evidence:
Tumblr media
That being said, I also have to take accountability for the horrible shit i said during my mental breakdown. I admit I made threats of physical violence against Fukui Takumi, wishing he’d slip down his stairs and bash his head into a wall, and I apologize for that. I was far too wrapped up in my emotions to realize I was saying overall horrible things aimed at someone that doesn’t even know who I am, and I apologize deeply for that. I’ll try to find better coping mechanisms to avoid this type of situation next chapter drop.
@/huntersmoon1 traumadumped on me multiple times despite me clarifying that I’m a neurodivergent and seriously mentally ill teenager just as many times, and she’s a grown woman in her late 20’s/early 30s that should be getting a therapist instead of telling some mentally unstable minor on the internet about her family’s problems. She also infodumped to me about useless things, even after I have told her I am not intrested in the slightest about anything she’s telling me about. She blocked me after I complained about another one of these needless infodumps, unblocked me after Mina’s exposure, we both mutually apologized for our mistakes, and she proceeded to block me again.
Shortly after Mina’s exposure as a groomer, @/praisethesuuun made a post saying that I shouldn’t be on the internet just because I have BPD symptoms and I’m also a minor.
Tumblr media
My mom neglects me and verbally abuses me and my dad is a creep that always disrespects my boundaries, has tried to SA me when I was around 7-9, and this week he stole the conditioner my mom bought for me (after refusing to buy me a new one for the past 3 weeks).
The verbal abuse from my mom started when I was around 5-6 years old.
My mom also held off on buying me toothpaste for 4 weeks, and I was stuck using probably expired toothpaste for over a month.
My school feels more like a North Korean labor camp rather than a school. My homeroom teacher is a bitch, as of the time im writing this post she has threatened to smell each and every student’s ARMPITS (With the most psychotic smile on her face, too) MULTIPLE TIMES. The school’s practices are no better either. Oh what’s that? You didn’t do this easily forgettable and completely useless and unnecessary homework? Oh I’m so sorry, your exam score is an automatic 0 now. Most teachers are so strict that I almost developed a crush one the one teacher that was actually cool.
ALL HAIL KENDRICK LAMAR 🙇🙇🙇🙇

How to Submit a Guest Post on a Blockchain Blog
Tumblr media
Guest posting on blockchain blogs helps boost your SEO and get your name in front of crypto readers.
But here's the thing- most sites get flooded with bad pitches and low-quality posts. If you want your guest post approved, you need to follow the right steps.
As you know, it starts with finding the right blogs. Then comes reading the guidelines, pitching smart, and writing content that adds value.
In this guide, I'll show you how to do each step the right way. Simple, clear, and focused on what actually works in 2025.
Step 1 – Find the Right Blockchain Blogs
Tumblr media
Not all blockchain blogs are worth your time. You want sites that have real readers, good authority, and accept guest posts.
Use Google Search Operators
Search smart. Try:
blockchain "write for us"
crypto "submit a guest post"
site:blog.com "guest post guidelines"
These will lead you straight to blogs open to contributors.
Check Domain Authority & Traffic
Use tools like Ahrefs, Moz, or Semrush to check:
Domain Authority (DA) — Aim for 30+
Monthly traffic — Higher is better
Spam score — Avoid high-risk sites
Also, avoid blogs that only post guest content or look like link farms.
Look for Niche Relevance
The blog should cover the same type of content you plan to write. Read 2–3 posts. Make sure your topic fits. A good fit means higher chances of getting published.
Use Platforms Like 'Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Guest Posts'
There are services and curated lists that focus on this niche. Platforms labeled as cryptocurrency and blockchain guest posts can save time. They list blogs with contact info, DA scores, and submission rules. These can speed up your outreach process and help you focus on quality sites.
Step 2 – Read the Guest Post Guidelines
Tumblr media
Before you write anything, check the blog’s guest post rules. Most blogs have a dedicated “Write for Us” or “Contribute” page.
Follow Format and Word Count
Each blog is different. But here’s what most want:
800 to 1,500 words
Clear subheadings (H2, H3)
Short paragraphs
No fluff
Stick to their style. If they use casual tone, match it.
Understand Link Rules
Some blogs allow one link in the body. Others are only in the bio. Many reject overly promotional content. Don’t force your links, make them fit naturally.
Also, check if they allow dofollow links. If they don’t say, ask.
Avoid These Common Mistakes
Ignoring the tone of the site
Sending generic or spun content
Copying content from other blogs
Following their rules shows you respect their site. That gets you closer to a “yes.”
Step 3 – Craft a Strong Pitch
Tumblr media
A good pitch can get your foot in the door. A bad one ends up in trash. Keep it simple, clear, and personalized.
Use Their Name in the Email
Start by addressing the editor by name. If it’s not listed, check their About or Contact page. Avoid generic greetings like “Hi there.”
Suggest 2–3 Post Ideas
Don’t ask them what to write about. Pitch 2–3 solid titles that fit their blog. Keep them short and specific. For example:
“5 Common Crypto Scams and How to Avoid Them”
“Why Blockchain Security Matters in 2025”
Mention a few posts from their blog that you liked. This shows you’ve done your homework.
Keep It Short and Direct
Your pitch email should be 4–6 lines. Say who you are, what you want to write, and why it’s a good fit. End with a clear ask: “Can I send over a draft?”
Step 4 – Write a Quality Post
Tumblr media
Once your pitch gets approved, your content needs to deliver. Write a post that adds real value and matches the blog’s style.
Add Value to Their Readers
Write like you’re helping someone, not selling something. Use real examples, current data, or recent trends. Make sure the post teaches or solves a problem.
Follow SEO Best Practices
Keep it optimized without keyword stuffing:
Use the main keyword in the title and intro
Add internal links to their existing posts
Link to trusted sources when needed
Use H2s and H3s for structure
Also, add a clear call to action if it fits the blog’s tone.
Include a Short Author Bio
At the end, write a short 2–3 line bio. Mention who you are and what you do. Include one link to your site or social profile. Don’t overdo it. Keep it clean and useful.
Step 5 – Submit and Follow Up
Tumblr media
After writing, don’t just hit send and wait forever. There’s a right way to submit and follow up.
Submit via Email or Form
Most blogs will ask you to send your post by email or a contact form. Here’s what to include:
Your post as a Google Doc or Word file
A short author bio (2–3 lines)
A headshot (if requested)
Use a clear subject line like: “Guest Post Submission – [Your Title]”
Wait 7 Days Before Following Up
Give them time. If you don’t hear back in 7 days, send a short follow-up.
Example: “Hi [Name], just checking if you had a chance to review my guest post on [Title]. Let me know if you need anything else.”
Stay polite. One follow-up is enough. If there’s still no reply, move on to the next blog.
Final Tips
Guest posting isn’t just about links. It’s about building real relationships and trust in the crypto space.
Build Connections: Stay active in crypto forums, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Engage with blog owners before pitching.
Track Where You Publish: Keep a simple sheet with the blog name, link, date posted, and link type. This helps manage your backlink profile.
Don’t Reuse the Same Post: Each blog wants unique content. Never submit the same article to multiple sites.
As you know, consistency is key. The more good content you publish, the more trust and traffic you’ll build over time. Stick to these steps, and your blockchain guest posts will keep getting accepted.

Melli Run Log 1: From the Start to the 1st Badge!
The game starts as always, since this is Platinum, Rowan starts talking to me and asks if I'm a girl or a boy. Since I am a roughly human shaped something and Melli is a guy, I star as a boy in this adventure.
The start of the game goes absolutely normal, so I ain't summing up the story.
The run starts smooth as the Starter was properly replaced by Stunky. The starting battle was easy as Poison from Poison Gas made a good work along with Scratch. This is will ne a tool helping us a lot. I got to Sangem and nicknamed the Stunky Petun, since I will be doing a flower theme for this one.
After this and running back to Twinleaf, I checked Bulbapedia and it turns out Dual Slot only works after you obtain the National Pokédex, which I ain't gonna do sooo... Yeah. None of the Pokémon that were actually gonna be on the team were Dual-Slot so it's OK.
Jubilife is very uneventful, meeting my man Looker, going into the Trainer School, getting the Pokétch. In the cave I catch Lilly the Zubat, who is again, gonna be fully evolved into Crobat, even tho Melli has no Crobat. I just am not bothered to put an Everstone or mash B every time it wants to evolve. After that, I decided to get an HM mule, for which I chose Bidoof. While I did enable Pokémon to learn any HM (found out you don't have to enable them to also be able to use any TM) for tge sole purpose of having 1 sacrificial Bidoof.
Comes 2nd Barry fight, where I unexpectedly encounter Growl spam. Stupid me didn't think to go to the Pokécentre so Petun was not that high on HP, but combination of Focus Energy, Scratch crits and Poison Gas + 1 Potion usage did score me an easy victory.
Healed up and stocked up on Potions I went back to Route 203, deciding to avoid some trainers for now. While I am very confident in my battling skills, but I don't want to overlevel, which is easy with just 2 Pokémon. Also given I have to switch-train Lilly because Zubat are not so strong (+ no good moves, Leech Life is 20 Bp in this gen) and not useful against the Rock gym EXP management will have to be done. Petun reached level 10 and I politely said No to Fury Swipes. They betrayed me a lot of times and also Sturdy just protects the Pokémon against 1 hit KO moves this gen (Sturdy like we know today didn't happen until Gen 5). I then took a look at Melli's Pokémon team and got reminded of Special Attacking Golbat and figures, I will have to use my Shadow Ball TM on it (if actually possible). Otherwise the movesets on Melli's Pokémon are actually good (except Venoshock on Drapion).
Anyways, side tangent over, time to get to Oreburgh. I did just that after deciding it's for the best to teach Rock Smash to Petun (which is actually legal move), because coverage. I found Barry in front of the Gym, who sent me off to the mine (will figure out how to put it into the story.) Knowing the level cap is at 14, I am going back to challenge the trainers I didn't already.
After getting to a comfortable level, it was Gym time. My strategy for the Gym was to spam the Rock Smash and Poison everything via Poison Gas. None of Roark's Pokémon posses Ground type moves, so I was in the clear.
Geodude went down easily, without the need for Poison Gas, Onyx however proved trickier. Poison Gas kept missing a lot and I had to switch to shake off a Screech. At the end Roark used up his 2nd Potion, but I won. Comes Cranidos and due to Stealth Rock and bad switching order I wiped, which marks the 1st Gym attempt. Now, I could go back and pick a Budew, but I ain't giving up on beating Roark with just Petun and Lilly yet!
2nd attempt starts similarly with Geodude going down in 3 shots. Now instead of keeping Petun in, I switched to Lilly at the sight of Onyx and used confused it. Then I let Lilly down for some Astonish chip. This attempt, Poison Gas landed on the 2nd use. After some healing the beast went down and I decided to sacrifice Bidoof for healing Petun. And I wiped to Cranidos again due to unlucky flinches. So I bit the bullet. It was time to add a non-cannon Pokémon in Budew. But then I quickly changed my mind and begun my 3rd attempt.
This time instead of leading Lilly and letting Roark get a free Stealth Rock on the switch, I led Petun. Geodude went down in 3 hits. Onyx was poisoned on the 2nd try and went down, getting Petun to level 15. This time instead of underspeeding Cranidos, I finally managed to outspeed, which earned me the Coal Badge!

Hi everyone!
I'm Zel, @i-have-passed-through-fire ! Welcome to my sideblog for yapping about my favorite artists! My main is full up with visual media fandom stuff and general blogging so I figured I'd try to keep *some* form of organization and post this stuff here. I also know most of my followers and moots from my main aren't into the same things so I'd rather not spam them with it.
I listen to a fuck ton of music and this was intended to be a multi-fandom blog, and still is, but I mainly post about Sleep Token. I'm also a HUGE fan of Bad Omens and Spiritbox (they're the other bands I post the most about), Paramore, Pvris, Waterparks, Linkin Park, Halsey, Bring Me The Horizon, EPIC the Musical and it's awesome cast, Noah Kahan, Conan Gray, Chase Petra, Chappell Roan and a bunch of others. I also yell about the score from the Legend of Zelda series from time to time! Other than that, I post my own random thoughts and analyses from time to time, which can all be found under #zel yaps. I post a lot, but I don't hunt for things to put here. If its on my dash and I think it's neat, I reblog it. Nothing gets queued, there is no schedule.
*I deeply respect ST and their anonymity. That said, I do know about and interact with the members' other projects. Any posts on this blog about those projects will be placed under a "Read More" and none of them will be put under any Sleep Token tags. I will not post or tag the members names and I will not post faces, though I will tag band names for the sake of organization. If you want to avoid those posts, then block #st adjacent

@lizardsarecute THANK YOU!!! IT WAS A TRIAL. also also. i have more tips for taking on rhythm tower if youre semi bad at rhythm like i am. i was. super bad at it in the beginning. like. i failed to get to even the 10th floor in the first 5 or so tries hsdkjhflk. but i realized some things as i tried again after s ranking some stages. so like. this is sorta a guide
its obvious but the most important thing is TIME. and you only get more time from certain things. perfect beat hits, perfect parries, enemy kills, and successful rhythm attack sequences (there could be more but these are them most important ones. in order too tbh)
just Landing beat hits is not good enough. you should also try your best to hit perfect. you dont get time for good beat hits. mixing up combos matter less in this mode, and sure the time you get at the end of the floor depends on your final score/rank, you can make up for the difference in time by continuously landing perfect beat hits. and also spamming partners helps keep your combo up, the higher combo you have, the better the score multiplier is i think, so partners can help you reach s rank anyways (sometimes). the reason i use only light-light-light-light or heavy-heavy-heavy combos IS BC I SUCK AT SWITCHING UP THE ATTACKS ON BEAT.... doing other combos fucks up my sense of rhythm that i fuck up the beat hit. (also the light attack combo is one of the faster combos)
(also i THINK certain combos give you more time? i havent had the brain capacity to study this tho.)
so yeah. tldr: make sure you hit perfect beat hits. try to follow through on combos even if youre gonna whiff an enemy. bc even if you whiff, youll at least gain time. the only time i abort out of a combo is to parry an attack
BIG TIP THO: RIGHT after you finish a fight BEFORE you move onto a new floor, DO QUICK BEAT HIT (X+A). if you land it right , YOU CAN GET AN EXTRA 3 SECONDS. and if youre fast you might be able to sneak in 2 beat hits.
okay enough about beat hits. parrying is so essential to rhythm tower bc perfect parrying gives you time. honestly theres not much i can say about this other than try to parry always. though this is coming from a guy who never dodges. (dodging around a lot is just idle time i feel in rhythm tower. you should be constantly laying on the pressure attacking so you dont lose time. better to parry than dodge)
for specials i use hibiki and pick me up. pick me up is so important. its nice that you can heal before you start a floor. but also hitting it perfectly during fights ALSO gives you 3 seconds. hibiki i use against z shield enemies when i can afford it. waiting for macarons cooldown SUCKS. i consider them time suckers tbh.
also this is my chip line up
Tumblr media
i REALLY like high risk high return and i wish i could use it at level 3... bc you HIT SO MUCH HARDER AND THUS BEAT STAGES FASTER.... but AUGH. literally roquefort is the only reason i have it at lvl 1. it was too risky for him.... parry health is at lvl 3 also bc of roquefort. id say having either of the battery chips is pretty solid for rhythm tower to for pick me up and hibiki (or whatever special attack you use). actually maybe the other battery chip is better than parry charge now that i think about it. hm. i should swap that out for my next attempt.
oh and for kales phase two. when you cant attack him, you should still do beat hits even if its not AT him. light attack combo or quick beat him. maybe quick beat hits bc its faster. you really want to avoid idling in rhythm tower
anyways this turned longer than i thought. i hope this helps. if youre better at rhythm than i am you might fair better. but this is what i did take it on with my rhythm impaired ass. rhythm tower required you to play a bit differently i feel. at the very least it make you pay more attention to the beat hit circles kjsdfhbjdskjfhjl
ANYWAYS. RHYTHM TOWER IS HELL. BUT I LEARNED. ITS DOABLE. SO AS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

alright, maybe I'm finally alive enough for that. thank you, @rreskk
Were you named after anyone?
hmm as far as I know, my parents just heard my name in a song and both were "yup, this one would be okay"
Do you have kids?
waht? I'm a kid myself
Use sarcasm a lot?
sarcasm is all I've fucking got
First thing you notice 'bout people?
their auras 👀 (but actually the only thing I need to know about people irl is how to avoid them or how to interact with them in the least traumatic way - so it'd most likely be their mood and their attitude (+mimics & body language) and what they probably expect from me. in very very specific cases I can notice some random things from their appearance, like eyes or hands or a haircut or a t-shirt print or a shoe color or earrings or even a face)
Eye color?
medium brown
Scary movies or happy ending?
action movies only. I love watching cool tough men doing cool tough stuff with cars and guns and knives and each other (with happy endings or without them if you know what I mean))
Special talent?
ehh. some people say I'm good at drawing, or at writing, or at reading tarot, or at googling hard-to-find things, or at being indifferent lazy fuck, or at sucking a dick, or at wasting my life for nothing, or at shitty jokes. but actually idk, I'm just average at everything (but wait wait, I'm incredibly great at DISAPPOINTING PEOPLE, yeeeees, that's my special talent, appreciate it)
Your hobbies?
most of them I've already listed in things-that-make-me-happy, so they're gaming&drawing&writing, screenshoting everything, shooting and throwing knives sometimes, enjoying my hyperfixations to the fullest etc. years ago I also was much into mbti and stuff (intp-t who's tryna be intp-a, haha you bought that) to understand how humans work and how I suppose to fit in (spoiler: nohow, and I'm okay with that). can say I'm also kinda fluent in tarot and runes tho rarely use them for myself, more exploring and researching their very systems. had occasional attempts at yoga tho I'm too lazy for doing that at regular basis, so nothing serious, just chilling
Any pets?
I loooove animals but I can barely keep myself alive and full, let alone another creature. If I adopt someone, it'd be the matter of time when one of us will eat another ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯
Playing any sport?
I hate losing, so nope. but guess I can play some darts or badminton without competition just for a good time
How tall..?
175 cm (5′9″)
Favourite subject in school?
biology, math. y'know, the fun ones
Dream job?
(fuck why I can't just spam motherlode and live my life peacefully why the fuck I have to make money to simply exist why) dunno, I hate responsibilities and I can't work properly on someone's order even when I'm actually trying. I only do shit well when I'm doing it for myself, and if someone would pay money for that shit, it could become my dream job or something. but since any of my shit ain't worthy in commercial sense and I'm too dumb to do scores, motherlode would be the best answer yeh 🙌

Tumblr media
So everyone (no one) is asking: J, what one piece of media influenced you more than anything else to a comical degree?
Elevator Action Returns, which I always knew as Elevator Action II.
One of my dad's few friends left owned a bizarre townie restaurant in East Lansing that FOR SOME REASON had this machine in the arcade/pool room, and this game probably had a bigger influence on me than any other piece of media of any sort. From ages 4 to 18 whenever we visited this restaurant I would spend at least an hour on this machine.
Red After Image remains one of my favorite songs to this day, the art style of this game is unbelievably cool to me, this was the first game where I ever played a girl character (because the girl is the best character because this game is about spamming the fire button and she is fastest.) Before I liked guns or anime or anything else I adored this game and basically NO ONE else knows about it.
Tumblr media
I mean look at this screenshot. Copyright avoiding misspellings and the names aside, the girl just has a full GUN meter. Jad (Dessert Eagle) was fun to play but on higher levels going for higher scores you basically need to be Kart or Edie.
If I had a spare $600-$1200 I would buy the PCB and cabinet.
Yes, this is an 8-way directional shooting game where the primary mechanic is the use of elevators. You use the elevators but can also crush others or be crushed by the elevators. Important lessons as a child. This game taught me to fear and respect elevators.

Some thoughts on my last Gamefly rental, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection(Switch version).
Tumblr media
I never played the original games, just Network Transmission on the Gamecube, so it’s good for there to be a way for me and others to be able to play them again.
On the cartridge, the collection is split into two parts, the first having Mega Man Battle Network 1-3, and the latter having MMBN 4-6. Starting with 3, each game has two versions, like with Pokemon.
The game selection menu that you see when starting each collection up has a neat feature of having MegaMan.exe be there and talk when you navigate the menus(and when you press L), even being voiced by his voice actor from the Mega Man NT Warrior anime, Andrew Francis.
For all the games, there’s a Max Buster Option you can turn on that had the Mega Buster do the highest damage it can. You can bring the option up by pressing the -/Minus button. I used it quite a bit, though turned it off for bosses. It’s good for getting through maps and random encounters quickly, and scoring high rankings to possibly get better Battle Chips, or if you just want to play for the story. It’s not always an instant-win option, though, as some enemies, usually postgame ones, will need a strategy to beat.
There are several other extras for each game:
A Gallery to see official and concept art for each game
Trophies for completing objectives in each game
Free Downloadable Chips that are usually pretty helpful/OP
A Music Player
The basic controls for each game are:
X for the menu
A to interact with people/object or select options. It’s a good idea to run around areas spamming this in case an item or port is hidden somewhere.
R to try and jack into the Net if Lan is standing next to a useable port.
L to talk to either Mega Man or Lan, depending on who you’re playing as. They’ll give you hints on what to do next to progress the story. Sometimes they’re a bit too vague, though.
While jacked into an area and playing as Mega Man, you’ll encounter viruses to fight while walking around in random battles. Defeating them will get you, depending on the ranking gained at the end, either a Battle Chip or Zenny.
There are HP-Up/power-up programs you can find or buy that can raise Mega Man’s HP or give a boost to his Buster’s power, speed and Charge attack. HP Ups are used automatically, but the others need to be used manually from the menu under the ‘Mega Man’ tab.
I didn’t 100% the games, since some Battle Chips need a certain Battle Ranking to drop, and I’m really not sure how to manipulate the rankings to get to what was needed for some, plus the post games can be pretty difficult.
MMBN1
The Net maps in this game can be kind of confusing. I’d recommend using a map guide if you have trouble navigating them. Amusingly, there’s a bit in the credits where Mega Man gets lost in an area, so seems like they know it, too. XD
MMBN2
There's some notable upgrades and changes from the first game, from game mechanics to the size/look of the maps.
Battles feel and load faster.
Navigating the Internet maps is much less of a pain now, and the areas look more distinct, though having a map guide for some of the more complicated areas would be helpful.
A new addition to this game is several ‘Styles’ for Mega Man that level up and unlock as you use them after Mega Man gets an upgrade a ways into the game. Here’s a guide to the Styles and how to get them. Later games expand on this.
Terrain effects in battle such as ice, fire and grass are also new features, ice’s effect being obvious, and grass tiles healing certain enemies.
Subships are another new addition to this game, which is carried onwards, which range from healing to avoiding weak battles, and more.
A change to this one that I don’t like that makes it harder is not having your HP automatically restored after battles, instead having to be healed by using healing Battle Chips in battle, using healing Subchips or jacking out. This seems to have been carried over to the later games.
In battle, you can now remove Chips from your selection by selecting them and hitting ADD, which, like in the first game, will have Lan send more chips, but now is based on the amount selected. I kind of preferred the old way, of just adding in more chips when hitting ADD and waiting for the Custom Meter to fill.
There are new purple diamond Item icons that you need to use an Unlocker item on to get an item from. You’ll need to go to the Subships menu and manually use it, as there won’t be a prompt just from interacting with the Item icon.
MMBN3
The first of the games with two versions, with a few differences between the two, such as available Chips, certain characters, etc..
MMBN 4-6
These ones gave the series a new graphical style and art upgrades such as new character portraits.
I was feeling kinda burnt out after finishing MMBN 2, so I decided to stop there, maybe go back to them all in the future. I did pop into each to at least get a save file started and see any immediate changes to each game.
It was good to finally play these, and for there to be a way for new players who missed out on them to get into the whole series, minus Network Transmission, at once.
Next game being sent is: Goodbye World

A key insights on Spam Score VS Toxic Score and its impact in SEO
When it comes to improving your website's SEO, it's not just about keywords and backlinks — it's also about the quality and trustworthiness of your content and links. That's where two important metrics come in: Spam Score and Toxic Score.
While they sound similar, they evaluate very different things. Understanding both is essential for protecting your site's rankings and reputation.
Spam Score is a metric developed by SEO tools like Moz. It measures the likelihood that a website or page might be considered spammy by search engines based on specific indicators.
Toxic Score is a metric used by tools like SEMrush to evaluate the risk of individual backlinks harming your SEO
What are the Factors that Influence Spam Score ?
1)Usage of spammy or over-promotional language
2)Usage of too many external links
3)Thin, duplicate, or low-quality content
4)Suspicious TLDs (like .info or .xyz)
5)Keyword stuffing or unnatural anchor text
6)An unusually high ratio of ads to content
What are the Factors that Influence Score ?
1)Links from penalized or blacklisted domains
2)Links from unrelated or irrelevant websites
3)Overuse of exact-match anchor text
4)Participation in link farms or PBNs
5)Unnatural link patterns or sudden spikes in backlinks
Tumblr media
How to Manage & Reduce These Scores ?
For Spam Score:
Publish original, high-quality content
Avoid excessive outbound links or popups
Use natural anchor text in internal/external links
Steer clear of clickbait titles or keyword stuffing
For Toxic Score:
Audit your backlink profile regularly
Disavow harmful or toxic links using Google’s Disavow Tool
Avoid buying links or joining link schemes
Build high-quality, niche-relevant backlinks
So, both Spam Score and Toxic Score are risk indicators — they don’t directly impact rankings, but they signal deeper problems that can.
Use Spam Score to assess the quality and trustworthiness of your own site (or sites linking to you).
Use Toxic Score to clean up bad backlinks that could damage your SEO.
In short, letz consider Spam Score as your content credibility score, and Toxic Score as your backlink danger meter.

Free Spam Score Checker for 2025: Check Your Website’s Health and Stay Safe on Google
In 2025, Google doesn’t just look at your keywords or blog updates. It also checks how safe and trusted your website is. If your website looks spammy, Google may not rank it well. That’s why spam score is now more important than ever.
Many website owners forget to check this. But a high spam score can hurt your traffic, your backlinks, and your entire SEO. The lower your spam score, the better your chances of ranking on top.
Tumblr media
What Is Spam Score?
Spam score is a number that shows how risky your website looks to search engines like Google. A low score means your site looks clean and real. A high score means your site may have problems. These problems could include copied content, links from bad websites, or strange SEO tricks.
Think of it like a health check for your website. If the score is high, your site needs fixing. A spam score above 40 percent is a sign of trouble. If it goes above 60 percent, it becomes a big problem. Google may stop trusting your site, even if you’ve done other SEO right.
Use Our Free Spam Score Checker

How to Keep Your Spam Score Low
There are some easy ways to keep your score low. Always write original content that helps people. Don’t copy from other websites. Avoid links from shady or unrelated websites. Try not to use the same keyword in every link. And always focus on quality over quantity when it comes to backlinks.
The better your content and your links, the more trusted your site becomes.
Why You Should Care
In 2025, trust is the most important part of SEO. A clean spam score means your website looks honest and helpful to Google. This can bring more traffic, better rankings, and stronger backlinks.
Checking your spam score helps you find small problems before they become big ones. It keeps your website safe and gives you more control over your SEO success.

Free Spam Score Checker for 2025 – Keep Your SEO Safe and Strong
In 2025, getting your website to rank higher on Google isn’t just about adding new content or using the right keywords. It’s also about trust. One thing that often gets ignored is the spam score of your website.
The spam score quantifies the probability of serps such as Google perceiving your website as spammy. The better your junk mail score, the greater the threat for your web page to be penalized, thereby affecting its ranking, backlinks, and online visibility.
Tumblr media
Why Spam Score Is Important for SEO in 2025
If your website has too many spammy backlinks, low-quality content, or uses fake-sounding anchor texts, search engines might not trust it.
A spam score above 40% is a warning. And if it goes above 60%, that’s a serious problem. While spam score doesn’t directly change your Google ranking, it usually means you’re doing something that could harm it.
By keeping your spam score low, you can protect your site, keep your SEO healthy, and build more trust with search engines.
