Brooklyn Nine Nine -- When Melissa was pregnant, the writers did their best to hide her pregnancy (having her stand in behind tables, holding bags next to her stomach, or even just pretend that Amy was pregnant). But when hiding Melissa’s pregnancy got too hard, the writers just decided to make her pregnant (even throwing a few jabs at themselves when it came to hiding her pregnancy).

The Owl House -- When Gus’s voice actor was going through puberty, instead of hiring a new voice actor, he just went through witch puberty so his voice actor could continue to be Gus.

Parks and Rec -- When Chris Pratt had to work on Guardians of the Galaxy, instead of writing out Andy’s character, the writers had him work in London until Chris was ready to come back.
