SEASON 3 THEORIES
Part 1 (Episodes 1-3)
I never made any theories for Season 2, but quite a few of my theories from Season 1 were really close to what actually happened, so I figured I’d give my shot at theorizing Season 3.
I can’t really guess how exactly these plot points will land and in which episode, but I think these things will happen in the first 3 episodes, in no particular order. We’re getting all 3 eps in one night so they’re going to be establishing quite a bit.
Ep1 - Confined
This is the episode where we will see Omega and Crosshair confined at Mt. Tantiss together. Omega has her Season 2 hair, and seems more optimistic than she does later on in the trailer.
Tumblr media
At this point I don’t think Omega is treated as a prisoner. I think she’s restricted of course, but it seems to me from the trailer that she’s serving as more of an assistant to Nala Se with limited freedom. Hemlock promised her she’d be treated well, and I feel like he was telling the truth. And maybe Omega has chosen to behave herself (for now) and has made a plan of luring them into a false sense of security so she can find a way out.
And then she sees Crosshair up and alert and not being tortured (and being escorted to another part of the facility? More cloning experiments?) and she decides to escape with him somehow.
Tumblr media
Crosshair is disheartened and incredibly sad, maybe because he found out about Tech and perhaps believes his other brothers were captured/killed. Who knows. Someone either screwed with his emotional state before this shot, or maybe he’s just drained from his captivity. But I think it’s the former.
It will show more of the inner workings of what’s going on at Mt. Tantiss, but it won’t reveal too much. I think it will mostly establish what Omega is doing there.
Ep2 - Paths Unknown
As for the boys, we will see that there’s been a passage of time. How much time, I’m not sure. But probably a few months. That’s when we hear Hunter say the famous “Omega’s been waiting for us a long time. I’m not making her wait another day.” (pretty sure that’s all one quote that’s been sliced up)
Tumblr media
It’ll establish that Echo has left again with Rex, probably to liberate more clones and look for hints about where Omega is along the way. Hunter and Wrecker are alone. They set up base on Pabu, recruiting help from Phee who is more than willing to help. But they never stay there long, and they run themselves ragged trying to find Omega and not getting any closer. Both Hunter and Wrecker are more angry and determined than we’ve ever seen them.
Ep3 - Shadows of Tantiss
Meanwhile, Omega finally hatches her plan to escape…
Tumblr media
Things obviously don’t go according to plan, and she doesn’t get too far before she’s stopped. Just in case, they inject her with a tracking implant…
Tumblr media
and she gets imprisoned.
Tumblr media
It looks like this little cage situation is the same as this one from the leaked trailer:
Tumblr media
Omega’s hair situation is really the only thing throwing me off lol.
So she meets Crosshair again. She tries to get through to him and show him that she hasn’t lost hope. He argues and Omega gets through to him in the way only she can. She finally gets him to agree to an escape.
The episode could end with Hunter and Wrecker getting a call from Rex and Echo that they finally have info on Omega, thus leading into Ep4, A Different Approach (which would make since if you consider they have new information).
So these first 3 episodes will be jam packed with information, and maybe not a ton of action, but will be establishing episodes to move the story along.
Another thing I noticed from the leaked trailer…
Tumblr media
Are we getting a flashback(s)? That looks like Hunter’s old armor paint job, and that backpack and helmet to the left is very distinct and only belongs to one person…
I would seriously love to see Clone Wars era Bad Batch again. Maybe flashbacks are interspersed throughout the season for extra exposition/character development/emotional damage. Maybe the first episode opens on a flashback!
Let me know what you think! Part 2 coming soon!

Making my case for Sleeper Agent Crosshair, 'cause even if it doesn't happen, I think it's an interesting idea and I'd happily watch three more seasons just to see it play out.
I just think it was pretty suspicious how events played out Infiltration and Extraction. Something always sat weird with me, the way Crosshair acted about his time on Tantiss, and then when he was faced with the CX clones.
I suppose you could say that the reason Crosshair was tight-lipped about his experiences and his apparent reluctance to speak about it could be chalked up to the torture and trauma he undoubtedly went through, but I don't really buy that. I think it's made clear that he cares about his brothers and Omega far more than he cares about keeping secrets.
But what was really interesting to me was the way he reacted when he came face to face with the captured CX operative in Rex's stronghold. It was the immediate unease, and the way the CX clone teased that they should be asking Crosshair, because he already knows. His taunt was so malicious, like Crosshair was supposed to have all the answers.
But then Crosshair seemed genuinely confused at points. Like he did end up telling them what these operatives were, but it still feels like something is missing. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to deduce that these clones went through some reconditioning program to make them this way. Its a conclusion I think they could have arrived to without Crosshair's input.
But what if Cross is actually a Sleeper Agent? Like, the reconditoning ran so deep that he himself isn't aware, but it shows itself in these weird little tells, like being so nervous to be in the same room as the CX clone. I would even say that in this last episode, maybe that shot he missed was missed on purpose--the reconditoning overriding everything else. Crosshair thinks he missed the shot, but it was actually a latent decision. Another deliberate choice not to show his facial expression throughout this moment, because what might we have seen? Horror, sadness, anger over missing the shot? Oooor...maybe blank indifference as his reconditioning takes over and does whatever needed to be done to complete the mission.
And even in Extraction, when he goes hand-to-hand against the assassin...like no offense, but why Crosshair, when he's the weakest member in close quarter combat? It's almost as if he deliberately outs himself in that position because he feels compelled to.
What if his hand tremor is not just a psychological response, but also the reconditioning at work, trying to keep him from helping his brothers. Like trying to prevent him from aiding them in any meaningful way.
I don't really think anything will come of it, it's honestly just a feeling I have and an idea that I thought sounded kinda cool and angsty. I could write about it.
Anyway, these are my thoughts about Sleeper Agent Crosshair Theory, and if it somehow comes true, ya'll heard it here first XD

I've been thinking about this for too long
Tumblr media
I read this in the republic commando’s book and went down a rabbit hole-
Arla Fett is the sister of Jango Fett and technically the aunt of Boba Fett.
We see her in the hunting seasons comics, that talk about Jango’s past.
(Note take a good look at the mother, tell ME she doesn’t remind you of Omega)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She apparently survived, and was horrifically kept as a slave to the death watch. (another reason I fucking hate them in the clone wars era)Later she trained and became an assassin for them. Years later she was eventually arrested and put in an holding facility on coruscant, later she was broken out and a whole lot of other plights ensued except now she had extreme mental issues and PTSD from her past. I won’t talk about them here because I want you guys to do some digging of your own :) and share your knowledge especially those who did read the books.
When I found out about her I realised that Omega makes plenty of sense. I’m surprised not a whole lot of people within the SW fandom thought to bring up Arla when the Omega theories we’re floating around.
Another Post I’ll try to find the original person who posted about it and credit them, but they went into detail about how in real life Temuera Morrison had a sister who Omega and (additionally) Arla might be based on. Her name was Taini Morrison who was a proclaimed Haka dancer and advocate for their indeginous herritage and rights,
please go look up Taini she’s an incredible person who unfortunately passed away but her memory stays strong with her family and their community.
Tumblr media
So, if my suspicions are correct Omega within the cannon might actually be a clone of Arla Fett. It just works so well if that’s the case with this context in mind.
Tumblr media
I want these two to meet, ;w; I haven’t read the book but if Arla’s traumatic memories were wiped and she went on to live her life I’d love for her and Omega to meet at some point. DUDE Book of Boba Fett’s apparently up for a second season to start production, can’t break what’s already broken!
GIVE US ARLA,
DO IT DO IT DO IT.

Hey everyone,
So I was going through a Bad Batch trailer analysis I had made before S2 premiered and saw something. The trailer is from about 8mo ago and I managed to get this screenshot.
Tumblr media
Omega is shown briefly with this boy, who appears to be about 3yrs older than her (anywhere from 2-4yrs older tbh). This is the only time we see him and the only convo/dialog we get is Omega telling him ‘let’s go’. I can’t tell what the light source is in the background, but they are clearly inside somewhere.
Here’s the same shot only I messed with it a bit in Procreate to try and make it brighter.
Tumblr media
There appears to be some kind of doorway or something behind Omega on the right, though it’s barely visible and I could totally be wrong. Despite the low quality we can see that the boy has a scarf, fingerless gloves and a casual tunic (nothing like what the rich/senators/powerful people wear). I haven’t really seen this kid discussed but I have 2 theories about who he could be.
**I HC the Clone War lasted about 4yrs. Idk how accurate/concrete the years are for SW**
Tumblr media
Theory 1–This boy is Petro, one of the padawans from Gungi’s group (the cocky kid). Considering we’ve seen Gungi already and knew for a fact he was gonna show up, it’s not entirely impossible that we’d run into the others. Personally, I was really sad we didn’t hear a thing about them from Gungi the whole ep (and that Echo didn’t even suggest contacting Rex?? Like yes Gungi belongs w/ his people, but Ahsoka!!! The others!!! I honestly thought that was how the padawans would tie into this season, though so far only Gungi is confirmed). While Petro is about 12 during the padawan/Hondo arc, this boy appears to be about 14/15, meaning about 2-3yrs of the war go by. If BB S2 is about 6mo after O66, that could work out (I think. Cuz Ahsoka would be about 15 during her time with the padawans and about 17/18 during O66). While Petro’s hair color is darker in CW, hair can change color over time. However, the texture of this boy’s hair is more wavy than Petro’s and his nose is straighter (Petro’s nose curves in). Yes we’ve seen Anakin’s straight golden hair turn to a long, curly chocolate brown, but usually facial features stay the same. All facial features ‘shrink’ as we age so yes, they do change in size, but they should still be the same shape, just proportionally smaller (unless surgery or something).
Tumblr media
Theory 2–This boy is Lux Bonteri. Lux is about Ahsoka’s age when they meet. Because CW is an anthology series, the only linear time progression we get is through Ahsoka aging (though there are some stories w/ out of order episodes). Since the padawan arc and Ahsoka training Lux happens in the same season, it’s possible that she met Lux after her time w/ the padawans. If so that’d put them both at about 15. As stated in Theory 1, this boy in the screenshot appears to be about 14/15 (Lux’s age in CW). Lux would be about 17ish in BB S2 which doesn’t really line up with the boy in the picture. However, we have already been introduced to Saw Gerrera in S1. It’s possible Lux returned to/stayed with Saw and the rebels on Onderon after Steela Gerrera’s death. That’d be a way to bring Saw back in since we just saw him that one time in S1E1. Also, Lux’s hair texture and color line up better with this boy and while his nose still has a bit of a button shape at the tip, the bridge of his nose is straighter than Petro’s. Only the ages don’t quite line up.
There’s also the possibility that we’ve never seen this boy/he is a new character. I could be totally wrong about my theories. We’ve gotten 2 new characters so far (Phee Genoa and Tawni Ames) so it’s not impossible to have another. I must admit that while both Lux and Petro check similar boxes to this mystery boy, neither match him completely. Lux would be almost an adult (17/18) while this boy looks to be 15 at the oldest (I HC Omega is 12 in S2) though his hair texture, color and nose shape matches this boy more than Petro. In contrast, Petro would be the right age (about 14/15 during BB) and we’ve already got confirmation that Gungi is alive.
I just wanted to bring this up cuz I rewatched S2E6 ‘Tribe’ and was going through some of my previous posts. Thanks for reading 💕
*Edit—I had a thought that it could be Kanan as well. We haven’t seen him since he ran off in S1E1 and because Omega knows Hera, she could set up their meeting. His nose shape and hair color are a match along with his age, though I think the hair texture is a bit different. However, given that he mistrusted CF99/Hunter the last time he saw them, I highly doubt he’d trust Hunter again.

Cody vs Rex (TBB season 2 or beyond)
ok, but big time sad
Some friends and I were discussing whether or no we’ll get to see Cody in a future season of The Bad Batch, and what that might entail..... So, here’s a super sad theory for you
Rex is being confronted by storm troopers and it escalates to a full fire fight. It’s impossible to tell who might be clones and who might be recruits. Rex fires at an officer and he goes down. It’s Cody.
Feel free to use this as a prompt. I personally don’t want to focus on this very sad thought right now.

SEASON 3 THEORIES
Part 2 (Episodes 4-5)
Again, these plot points fall in no particular order. I’m just theorizing that this events will happen within these two particular episodes.
Ep4 - A Different Approach
I think the title of this episode is really telling. I think it means all of our characters are taking “a different approach” with their plans. Omega and Crosshair will be on the same page in their attempts to escape, and Hunter and Wrecker will be taking a new approach to rescue them.
Rex and Echo will come back into the picture, with new information they’ve found about Tantiss and Omega.
Tumblr media
Now that they know where Omega is, they’re going to be able to make a plan (along with Rex’s new squad of clones) to free her (and Crosshair).
Meanwhile, Omega and Crosshair will be hatching a plan of their own. Maybe with the aid of Emerie Karr?
Tumblr media
Ep5 - The Return
This is the episode where Omega and Crosshair escape together. This is their return to freedom.
Tumblr media
They will manage to steal a ship (Omega will utilize her newly learned piloting skills) and make their way off world.
Tumblr media
They will be pursued and their ship will take damage, but they will escape into hyperspace.
Tumblr media
They will arrive on a new planet, where turret guns will shoot them down (whether the turrets are Empire or not, I’m unsure. Maybe the people of whatever planet they’re on are anti-Empire, and shoot down any Empire ships that try to come)
Tumblr media
They survive unscathed. (That’s definitely Omega and Crosshair, those teeny tiny figures by the wreckage)
They try to scout the land and see if there is any way to contact the Batch.
I’m thinking that somehow Omega gets separated from Crosshair, and is either captured or lost.
Meanwhile the boys are on their way to Tantiss, unaware that Omega and Crosshair have already escaped. Thus leading into the two part episodes 6: Infiltration, and 7: Extraction.
I could be totally off lol. As we get more footage and more trailers, it’ll hopefully be a little easier to piece together.
Let me know your thoughts!

i might be onto something here
oohoho I have a little bad batch theory. and it seems pretty viable, let's see if the strangers on the internet like it.
crosshair said his inhibitor chip was out. I checked- the scar he references is from the ion engine of the venator in s1e8- after which there is minimal change to his personality. additionally, in s1e1 after the rest of the batch escape, the medical personnel mention that he gets an "inhibitor chip augmentation".
furthermore. in s2e12 with mayday, there's a scene where he's looking through his visor (which is on his right eye, remember) and scope at the back of a ship. there's an explosion and he stumbles, ripping off his helmet and groaning. a high-pitched tone, like an ear ringing, plays for a little bit as he super overreacts to the flash.
so far, before this, he's been only slightly hesitant. his chip is clearly still working.
however.
after the flash is when he and mayday are sent out. and he starts acting like wrecker did- clutching the right side of his head whenever it gets jostled slightly, seemingly having more personality. him bringing back mayday and shooting the lieutenant is a culmination of those things.
the theory? crosshair still has his chip. it was never removed. he only thinks it was- or, maybe more interestingly, his chip was expanded in s1e1 and then "removed" in s1e8, but not the augmentation.
does this make sense? am I insane? don't answer the second one

10 Reasons why I think tech is alive and well…and evil
1. The looks
Besides the similar front part of their helmets, their stances and movements show a resemblance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Fight movements
Right when I saw this scene it felt familiar to me and then I remembered this very moment of season one. It’s the same attack…
If Tech was forced through the clone x/assassin program, he would’ve been robbed of most of his individuality, like fighting with two blasters for example, while clone x was shown fighting with all obvious choices of weapons of his 99 brothers : sniper rifle, knife and hand to hand combat. They also could’ve shown him with a usual blaster…
3. Relying on Technology
There were multiple moments where clone x checked on his arm data pad, even after it was broken after the building collapsed and his reinforcements had already arrived.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Voice / Noises
Sounds familiar? Tech is the only clone that has a visible British accent and there were definitely hints of that in clone x voice. Also the voice modulator seemed to be a little stronger than with the other clone assassins we’ve seen before, I wonder why…
And when you compare the grunts, they literally sound the same!
5. The height change
A few days into the third season of tbb Star Wars officially changed the height for tech and we all wondered why…. my theory is that they did that because tech's legs got injured after the fall and when the empire put him into the shadow assassin program his height went down to his new height.
Changed the height from 6’4 to 5’10
Tumblr media
6. “But crosshair would know if it was tech”
Probably, but would he tell them? It took him a good while to tell anyone about the information he has gained in his imprisonment..he is still hiding things and if he knows I believe he doesn't want them to know, fearing they would try to get him back and he has realised that there is no chance to do so...the program these clones go through is so much stronger than what the inhibitor chip was.
Also this scene hits a lot different, if it's actually techimplicating this could be a reference to crosshair choosing to stay with the empire instead of the batch at the end of s1
There is also a scene in tantiss where he looks back at clone x...
Tumblr media
7. THE PARALLELS
There were multiple parallels to significant moments and situations that
Tech went through.
- THE FALL sry to remind yall of plan 99, but clone x fell in that tower after crosshair shot his explosive and also in the waterfall fight.
- LIMPING after clone x got injured when the base collapsed, it was like the scenes in season 2 after a crate fell onto techs leg. Also important quote from this episode " I'm a survivor. Remember?"
8. This exact shot
the similarity of these specific shots is undeniable. And both when they come out of the water? Like?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
9. He’s too pretty to die
No but for real, storytelling wise IT HAS TO BE someone important.my other guesses are Cody, another 99 clone or (brace yourself) a clone of crosshair, like an evil twin
10. Maybe I just miss him
