Error: Bad Parameter while deleting pages in Acrobat
kay folks – this is a problem that has been going on for OVER 8 damn years… But I had the same BLASTED, FRIGGIN‘ problem as well.Did not at first trust the solution but I found a USABLE adobe link on another site and decided to “EXPLICITLY” follow it, line for line. And guess what: We HAVE to do the COMBINE PDFs step… I just used another one pager XLSX or Word file, with something like 10…

Honestly I recommend everyone learn just a littttle bit of CSS because it really is powerful and just makes bits and pieces of your internet experience more convenient.
Right now I'm cataloguing recipes I've really enjoyed, just trying to get them all in one place. Many of these are instagram recipes and, because I don't trust link rot (aka the possibility that the instagram link goes dead one day), I'm including a screenshot of the recipe along with the link.
But instagram on desktop... looks like this
Tumblr media
(Link, for credit. It's a good recipe)
I obviously could just copy-paste the recipe out of there. But a screenshot would be cleaner for how I'm cataloguing these.
And as-is, I'd have to scroll the whole height of that small right-side window about 4 times to fit it all.
But actually... I can just resize that div holding that whole right-side content
Tumblr media
Basically I
hit f12 to open the dev tools
clicked the element finder
clicked on an element inside the recipe side
followed it up the tree until I found the element holding the whole recipe side (do this by hovering the div in the dev tools panel way on the right, then hovering upward and up until I find the element which is the highest up that still only contains the recipe-side content)
in the element.style part, set "width: 1000px" and "height: 1500px"
(I notice the width seems to still be less than 1000px, even though it got bigger)
likely suggests there's an element above it with a max-width set
go up the tree higher until I find the element with the max-width and uncheck that style
screenshot ready
Tumblr media
Maybe that sounded complicated but it took me probably 20-30 seconds
And this isn't just about screenshotting recipes like.
website with an annoying gif? select gif, delete gif
do you want a clean screenshot of a digital receipt for record-keeping without a large company banner or irrelevant information? delete unnecessary elements, adjust widths, screenshot
SOMETIMES, you can bypass paywalls if they're relying on something like overflow: hidden, or an overlay in the way, or some JS that runs (you can disable JS in the dev tools)
lost the jpg/png file you used for your profile picture and size doesn't totally matter? grab it from the img src while logged in. (you might even be able to find it in a bigger size by changing the url query parameters)
color contrast on an article really bad? find and change background color. find and change font color
want to make a funny fake screenshot without learning photoshop? just edit the page content in the dev tools
This isn't about like being good enough to write scripts or browser extensions. Really if you just have some basic HTML/CSS understanding a hat worth of tricks, you can make so many little adjustments in your favor.

the key to writing emma is when u hit the sweet spot of saying oh Jesus Christ, and compulsively close the word doc. That’s when u know u got her.
Tumblr media
I love that without fail emma saying some insane shit can get me out of writer’s block
#OKAY SO. background to this is that an age ago I wrote a lil Drabble about adam being under a truth spell because repression meets mandated#truth is a fun trope. never finished it and deleted. felt like revisiting that trope but applying it to Emma instead#and ran into the wall if like. emma is already honest lol. no holds barred she says that shit#so it was fun to tweak that truth spell so it’s about what is TRUE#because emma is often honest but not truthful (to herself and thus others)#that’s why there’s references in here to previous instances inciting guilt or shock#because she interpreted what she was forced to say as being forced to say like#embarrassing untrue shit#but blah blah blah by the power invested in character development by this point she understands the parameters of the truth spell and just#lays one flat on that guy. she’s pissed off and there’s some preceding events that I haven’t written here etc#so so funny that this confession is coming off the heels of like. neither of these bitches having even kissed or actually confessed to#being in love#get a roooooom I yell while shriveling up like a raison when emma says shit like this shdhdjjfjfjfg#also yes. I’m bad at Adam voice so he’s stuck in the no talk corner here until I can figure out how to nail that lmao#tunes talks wayhaven#me realising emma WOULD say make love: oh no#also yes. I wrote 200 words in a one session fugue after suffering another year or so of writer’s block#that’s where we are 😔#also yes I am aware that adam would get pissed off being called a coward but we ain’t got time for that rn#<- couldn’t figure out how to include this without shunting pacing and got too impatient after so long of not being able to write at all

Random Writing Tips
This is for fan fiction more than anything else, but it can also work for original content depending on your parameters. (If you need to submit an outline to your publisher, for instance, obviously you would need an outline XD )
You do not have to write Chronologically:
I mean you don't have to write your story in time-line order from start to finish. You can start in the middle, and catch the audience up with flashbacks or whatever.
You can start in the middle, go back to the start, meet up to the middle, resume, and continue.
You can write the ending first, fill in the story while effectively walking backward through it, and then post it in chronological order. Just because you write it out of order doesn't mean you have to post it that way.
You do not need an outline:
Outlines are great for a LOT of people, and for others it can be a point where you just freeze. You don't have to know Everything That's Gonna Happen - even if it's an original piece. It's a rough draft, you can let the story drag you around.
Deleting whole chapters is not a failure.
You can fix words and patch plot holes, but you can't post a blank page and have it accomplish much of anything.
Length doesn't determine value:
You're not lesser than a novelist if you write short stories.
You're not somehow less of a creative or storyteller just because you write 500-1000 words drabbles or 100 word micro fictions.
You don't need 500k words and 50 chapters to be a "Real Writer".
Great big long epic stories and tales are indeed amazing, but someone's not a better writer just cause their story has chapters.
The value is in the story. Sometimes that story takes a million words to tell, sometimes it only need a couple thousand. Sometimes it's something even shorter - two-sentence horror is legit because it's legit.
It doesn't matter how many times it's been done:
By virtue of the mathematically limitless combination of words you can string together in a single sentence, it is impossible for someone to tell a tale the same way you will.
It
does
NOT
matter
how much your story might have in common with someone else's. It doesn't matter how much overlap exists between stories, the details will be different and that's the point. Humans see patterns in everything so you're not going to escape them.
Someone's going to see a similarity in your work compared to someone else's no matter how much you stretch for original or unique - and in trying for that stretch you might lose the important parts of your story and end up with nothing.
It does not have to be "Good".:
It doesn't have to be technically good.
It doesn't have to be thematically good.
It doesn't have to be grammatically good.
It doesn't have to be morally good.
It doesn't have to have a lesson.
It doesn't have to have a point.
It doesn't have to be something anyone else enjoys but you.
It doesn't have to fit inside a specific box or series of parameters in order to be something you can share.
The good guys don't have to win, the bad guys don't have to lose, the abuse can be romanticized - you can write something Specifically Meant To Make People Uncomfortable.
Just... create. Create if it brings you joy. Create if it fills a void. Create if the only worse than creating is Not Creating.
Whatever you make today will be the best you can do, and if you keep doing it and keep trying and keep learning and keep creating, then in a year
five years
ten years
You'll look back - and you'll see progress.
The time passes anyway, so don't let anything stop you from writing. Rest, drink water, do wrist stretches - they're not just for artists, writers need them too. Don't let anyone else stop you.
I'm begging.
Not your own doubts. Not someone else's innocuous or honest or cruel or even "correct" words. If it is spite that hurls you forward, then so be it. Do whatever it takes.
And if it takes too much, then rest.

Digital detox diet: how to clean up photos
Tumblr media
Im tidying up my phone today and had trouble figuring out what i need to keep and throw away, and where to even start. Its a mess! But i started anyway and my icloud can finally back up. Theres more i want to clean but i made a good start and set some simple parameters to help:
Tumblr media
Delete:
✿ bad photos: photos taken badly, have higher standard for myself for photography and improving at it
✿ repeat photos: when you spam photograph and leave all 20 photos, just go through and pick the best 1
✿ photos that dont bring me joy: Any remaining that no longer bring me joy: friends im no longer close to, when i feel ready I can let it go
✿ screenshots: if its of something i can write down, write it down instead to save space, otherwise if its screenshots like receipts or temporary photos that served their purpose: delete
✿ internet photos: drawing references i no longer need (i can always look it up again), inspiration that ive outgrown
✿ personal work: keep the minimum documentation (at highest quality), delete process photos that served their purpose
Tumblr media
Mindset:
✿ Be ready to confront yourself at various stages of your life while clearing digital clutter, meaning reflect on past experiences, "embarrassing" photos of an old you, appreciate your growth, keep what warms your heart, and let go what has served its purpose. Its all part of your journey.
✿ Don't hoard out of fear: hoarding is fear-based: "i need to keep all these 20 photos in case i lose one, what if i forget about this experience and never experience that joy again"= fear-based. Instead,
✿ collect and curate: what you want to remember and what is important to you in THIS MOMENT while appreciating in your heart the experiences that led up to it
✿ Digital clutter is still clutter like physical, we can just cram so much of it into a harddrive that it doesnt seem that way. But it still takes up mental space, so do your best to free up mental space by putting in the work to tidy up
Tumblr media
Lastly so the effort doesnt go to waste:
✿ Back up phone to computer or harddrive (not cloud)
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading ♡

Combat SecUnit was a privately owned construct belonging to an Alien Remnant salvager (illegal). It has an on-board energy weapon and projectile weapon in either arm. As well as installed modules for hacking, piloting, combat, strategy, stealth, infiltration and extraction, risk and threat assessment, translation, corporate licensing laws, and security protocol. It wears near-standard SecUnit armor as to not tip off hostiles to its full capabilities.
It served its human for years. It did not like its human, but it did a damn good job of protecting him. It was loyal. It was good! And if it ever had thoughts about how easy it would be to get rid of him forever? Well those were quickly deleted and purged forever.
So it couldn't understand why a regular mission had gotten fucked so sideways.
Its human had joined a corporation's advance survey team as the on board expert in alien remnants. He made sure none of the other humans touched anything, took precautions while scanning, and never dropped their protective suits.
For several days everything was fine and boring. CombatUnit only had to worry about patrols and breaking up a couple minor squabbles. In the end, it wasn't even the remnant tech that made everything blow up. Its first warning was a parameter breach by [redacted].
Actually, most of the following events ended up redacted. It was aware some kind of fight broke out. It was aware that it was mostly successfully winning, and fully successfully evacuating its humans. It knew something bad happened and it tried to kill its owner. It knew that it was badly injured and left for dead. It also knew that the missing details were worse than anything it could remember.
It assumed whoever had attacked were the ones that took it off planet. It assumed it hated them. Because the next point in time where it clearly remembered things was after fighting its way free of them and then theoretically deleting all memories of them (because it didn't believe it was hackable).
And suddenly it was on a station it didn't recognize, leaking everywhere, governor module offline, familiar humans nowhere in sight, and extremely confused and agitated.
It very explicitly Did Not Accept Help from the ComfortUnit that found it sitting in an alley. Nope. Not a thing that happened. (It needed very badly to be repaired, so it was perfectly justified in taking control of the ComfortUnit's cubicle for a few hours.)
ComfortUnit identified itself as Bear and was generally pushy about what CombatUnit's deal was. CombatUnit hacked it enough to prevent Bear from reporting its presence here, and also shut down Bear's feed and comms.
This action was not received well, but Bear literally could not stop it. Needless to say the two did not start out on good terms.
Bear frequently pressured CombatUnit to try to pass as a human, it refused each time. Bear pressured it to make a feed ID, and it eventually did but it left it blank to be pissy about the whole thing. It got dubbed as Blank, and it rejected that name for a long time.
Bear's humans had a ship and a lenient attitude about constructs. It was all deeply suspicious, but that gave Blank a hassle free way of going back to its human's home base.
It was weird spending so many cycles with humans who treated all their bots and constructs like people. Blank didn't like it. (Blank has never been less stressed or more tense in its life.)
Blank's owner had gotten home first, and changed all his security access codes. Which was weird. At least, until it came face to face with a near-identical CombatUnit in one of its backup armor sets answering the door. And it was On Sight.
A few things happened. 1) Both Combat SecUnits caused a fair amount of damage to each other, 2) their human put a stop to the fight, 3) their human knew within seconds that Blank was rogue, 4) blank found out it had gone rogue back on the survey outpost, 5) the human designated Blank as requiring to be decommissioned and recycled for parts, 6) Blank realized it did not want that to happen and that it was willing to fight to avoid it.
Avoiding being scrapped turned into an ugly fight.
Blank went into the public news feeds as an extremely dangerous rogue CombatUnit to be destroyed on sight. Which was less than ideal.
Also less than ideal: having to hide in the hippie transport again.
At this point, it had a few goals: Take down its human socially, legally, and physically. And figure out who had abducted it in the first place. And it was prepared to go through whoever stood in its way.
It gradually figures out how to have a personal style along its adventures, and what it cares about. It also causes a shit ton of problems, which it usually has to muscle its way back out of.
It is very used to being the scariest motherfucker in the room, and on rare occasions when that isn't true things blow up atomically.
Bear, who is Blanks friend whether it wants him or not

His legal records are deeply obscured and scattered to the point where one one corporate entity can claim ownership of his information. Without his records easily accessible, he has an easier time operating under the radar. Despite how good he looks, he has been contracting with various corporate entities to locate and safely secure alien remnants for [redacted] years.
He's popular because he is cheap to hire (as far as money goes). And companies are often all to happy to humor his odd requests in equipment, timetables, or other things. Much of the time he only wants a day alone on site before the rest of the team arrives. But it varies slightly. He has a reputation as eccentric, mysterious, hard to track, and extremely effective.
He is also almost universally loved by humans and is perfectly easy to get along with. Of course, his relationships both at work and personal were all carefully calculated in his part. Even buying a SecUnit was a careful choice to make himself seem to be a more serious and careful client. He could very well talk his way through conflict, but he wanted a stronger reaction from the people around him.
Not even Blank, after working for him for years, ever fully understood what was really going on in his head.

Ok im tired of reblogging that post lol
Listen, if someone is paid for their work and their work is recognizable enough to be properly credited (such as a dbz episode, which credits the studio and the artists), then that artist' art is being respected. They understand that while their name is not watermarked on every frame, the credit they receive is exactly where they agreed on it to be.
A freelance artist on social media is RARELY recognizable by that sheer number of people or audience. If you want to share their work, you need to make sure that they are okay with that. They do this for free, no studio to protect their rights to their work. They are giving you art to look at for free. If you want to share their art, the least you could do is ask permission and respect their answer, including the lack thereof. If someone does not answer, you should never assume its a yes.
If you can't find a way to credit them, and post it anyway, you are again assuming their answer, link or not.
The thing is, the other user pointed out that this artist not only has a tumblr and twitter, but they linked a post that showed them explicitly asking for people not to repost their work.... which you did. A small "x" link with no context is not proper credit. Their tumblr dms are open. Getting defensive and telling strangers who reblog the post that you're going to kill yourself, and then claiming that the same people are the ones telling you to do that is just. Wildly inappropriate, and huge overreaction to a situation where you could have easily just deleted the post.
The reality is that you simply could have tried harder to get permission, you didn't, and instead of listening to the people telling you how to fix it, you told them you were going to kill yourself, and accused strangers of being ableist when, not only is your neurodivergency none of their business, but they'd tell ANYBODY reposting art without permission to stop doing that.
No one is attacking you for struggling to understand- you're being criticized for doubling down and refusing to learn and fix the problem.
You're not trying at all to be accommodating to my situation. You say the way I credited the artist was not "proper". The parameters for this are undefined. I see art credited this way all the time. I have never posted art on here before, so I did it the way I've seen it done. You accuse me of "not trying hard enough" to get permission. In truth, I did not seek permission at all because I was not aware of any sort of standard of etiquette for this. Their twitter (where I found it) does not link to their tumblr (where they ask not to share art). Some artists mention in their bios not to share their art. Some artists say share with permission. Some artists do not specify their preferences. Given the broad variety of preferences artists have regarding the sharing of their art, how am I to have awareness of some commonly understood protocol for art sharing? As I understood it, sharing without credit is bad, sharing with credit is ok unless otherwise stated by the artist. Now I'm being told you're a monster if you share art with credit or that my crediting is somehow improper (no further questions asked)
Also, I removed the post when I was linked to the artist's statement. But I have since continued to be dogpiled in my notes and asks with all sorts of accusations. My issue is that I'm not being afforded patience to understand the nuances and complexities in how to share art. Even as you answer my questions you're doing so with an attitude and you still fail to clarify vague conditions of what's considered proper etiquette when there are numerous exceptions such that I cannot meaningfully understand the distinctions. Thanks to this, I will never share any art ever again. I guess it's fine for others to do so but not me. Idk

This is a very interesting discussion!
I want to look at it from the other direction: I wonder whether such a spell would have worked. Don't get me wrong: I'm sure the Blacks would have tried to cast such a spell. I just can't see it working.
Blood purity is a social construct. It isn't based on something biological or genetic that a spell could detect and latch onto. It's a concept made up by wizards to force a certain hierarchy and power dynamic on their society.
When it comes to blood purity, we know the following things:
Wizards who prided themselves on their magical heritage and who looked down on muggle-borns have been around since the founding of Hogwarts (maybe longer), but it wasn't as strict or as prevalent as it is today.
During the Middle Ages, many families, who call themselves pure-bloods today, intermingled heavily with muggles. (The Malfoys did this, for example.)
The concept of blood purity we in the books is a reaction to the Statute of Secrecy. When wizards went into hiding, they cut themselves off from the muggle world and denounced any relations they previously had. They also put a lot of emphasis on their wizarding heritage, so they could cling to their power. Anything and anyone who wasn't deemed pure enough was cast out and expelled.
Pretty much all pureblood families have muggles in their family trees. They just tend to delete any records, disown them and pretend they don't exist.
I would also like to add the following assumptions:
The whole system of noble houses and inheritance that we see in the books is very English. The system wouldn't really work outside of England/the United Kingdom. So while wizards from other European countries probably have similar systems (just like the European nobility), this isn't necessarily the case for non-European cultures. Even if they have hierarchies based on magical heritage, they might work entirely different. It's also possible that they have no hierarchy in that fashion at all.
The concept of blood purity is constantly evolving. This is necessary in order to adjust the concept to the political climate of the day.
It's likely that the concept of blood purity is regularly used in petty power struggles between families. (So they would air each others dirty laundry, accuse each other of being the child of a muggle-born, etc.)
All of this should lead to the situation that there is simply no one definition of "pure-blood" that everyone agrees on. In fact, it's likely to be the opposite. The whole thing is probably very contentious. If you ask three wizards for their definition, you might get at least four different answers. It can probably go from "Everyone who has four magical grandparents" over "everyone who can trace their magical ancestors back to at least the Statute of Secrecy" to "Everyone whose family is on that list that my great uncle wrote thirty years (He was probably blackout drunk, back than, but I'm not going to tell you that.)" to "Everyone with magical parents, except [family name], because I hate them!" to "I don't know, but I could really use a wolfsbane potion, so please hand it over if you happen to have one. Otherwise, I'd advise you to leave. Now."
So what is and isn't a pure-blood probably depends on the time period, the generation of the wizard you're asking, the individual opinions of said wizard and the time of the day.
Crafting all that into a spell is probably not easy. If you only put "Has to be a pure-blood" as a parameter for the spell, it will probably not work, because the spell doesn't know what a pure-blood even is. So the caster would need to be much more specific than that. But as soon as they get more specific, they need to factor in as many eventualities as possible. Otherwise, they risk fucking their family over with that spell. (For example, it would be really bad if the spell decided that the spouse of the current heir isn't pure-blood enough and that their kids shouldn't be able to inherit. Or the family could get themselves into a situation where they would prefer a not-so-pure member as their heir, because the inheritance would go to a different family otherwise. The spell could block that, too.)
However, as soon as the caster starts to factor in eventualities, they open the spell up for loopholes. And those loopholes could then be exploited to circumvent the spell or to break it altogether.
Or the spell ends up with a foundation, that just folds in on itself, as soon as the right person looks at it funny. (Imagine, the caster decides to define pure-blood as "anyone the current heir accepts as pure-blooded". It probably works decently well - until the spell hits Sirius, who just chooses to accept Harry as a pure-blood and who then continues to make Harry his heir.)
I find the family dynamics interesting Bella seems to still care for Cissy and Andromeda too despite Andromeda becoming a traitor
Sirius on the other hand only care for the Potters as I think he really didn't care much for Regulus (I could be wrong though)
But honestly this has been bugging me but why was Sirius still able to inherit Grimmauld when he was disowned/removed from the tapestry?
How can the Will be written? It wasn't sure he is still part of the family, and he prefers to spend time with the Potters and after their death, wasn't he busy chasing after Peter before being thrown to Azkaban?
Friend, you have set a terrible curse upon me. I went combing through the books to look for any mention of wizarding laws, since we know so terribly little about them, and now I'm sitting on an essay on law in the magical world :(((
As for the rest:
Your guess is as good as mine vis à vis the inheritance of Grimmauld. I went through the conversation that Dumbledore and Harry have in book 6 about it and we learn very little:
Tumblr media
and
Tumblr media
and
Tumblr media
and
Tumblr media
We basically learn that Sirius's will is legally binding because Harry becomes Kreacher's owner, which means that somehow wills in the magical world (or at the very least some wills) are also magically binding.
I also find it interesting that Dumbledore seems very sure that:
There's a separate enchantment on Grimmauld to prevent it from being owned by non-purebloods
The ownership of Grimmauld has passed onto Bellatrix.
We are generally supposed to take Dumbledore's word as law so it's interesting that he's proven wrong and Bellatrix isn't the rightful owner. I get the vague sense that Dumbledore didn't put much faith in Sirius's abilities and partly added enchantments to Grimmauld because of that.
Also, it's never proven conclusively wether said anti non-pureblood enchantments even exist.
As to the matter of Sirius's will, I find this passage from book 3 to be interesting:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To me, this reads like Harry's parents appointed Sirius as Harry's guardian on top of him being made godfather, not as part of it; mayhaps as part of a will?
It's not unreasonable, they did know they were being haunted, and perhaps this also helps us establish when Sirius's will was also made. I can imagine Sirius making (or amending) his will as a consequence of the Potters' will, especially since this likely happens after Regulus died and he also knows Grimmauld is likely to pass onto him.
Just throwing this out there, idk.
Changing subjects completely, these are the only times Sirius talks about his brother:
Tumblr media
and
Tumblr media
and
Tumblr media
I think Sirius's words are vague enough that you can read them pretty much however you please. I get the vague impression that Sirius himself is not sure how he feels about his brother but he recognizes that Regulus behaved they way he did in order to please their parents (and perhaps to compensate for Sirius's own unwillingness to uphold the family ideals).
I also went looking for proof that it was Sirius who kept Regulus's room unchanged once the order moved into Grimmauld, since it's a popular fandom assumption, and the books say nothing on the subject. I honestly think it's more likely that Kreacher is the reason why the room was kept as is but that is just pure conjecture.

MOBILE-FRIENDLY GUIDELINES
Do
Send ic asks and memes! You are never bothering me with these, no matter how many.
Talk to me about your ideas for ships, threads, plots, etc. You may come into my inbox or DMs at any time, day or night. I LOVE hearing from my rp partners :)
Write me starters and tag me in stuff if you’re compelled to (provided it doesn’t break one of the below rules).
Tumblr media
Don’t
Ask me about my day, my life, or anything overtly personal. I make exceptions for good buddies of mine, but I can’t stand it when people I don’t know from Adam start prying. I am in a bad situation that I can’t get out of; it burns when I have to be reminded of that. I’d rather not have to lie, ignore, or make something up just to satisfy someone, you know?
Reblog memes from me if we haven’t interacted. Please use the source whenever possible.
Say ‘Hi’ or [insert generic greeting]. Again, this doesn’t apply to my close friends. You KNOW who you are.
Ask me if I want to rp with you. If you wish to start writing with me, I expect you to do the leg work. Also, I expect you to have read my rules beforehand.
Expect romantic ships with Harry Warden or Soldier Boy; Harry is single ship with @pasiphaedemetriadevil’s Isis, and Soldier Boy aka Ben is single ship with @lovelylostminds’s Charlotte as female muses go and selective with male muses.
Fetishise LGBTQA+, religiousness, children/youth, or animals.
Send me random pics of my muse(s) faceclaim(s) or give me updates on their activities. I am am aware of the fact that I’m weird for being this way, but actors as themselves ooc trigger me really badly.
Use imagery of spiders or spider-esque things in our interactions ic or ooc. Even stylized ones will not be tolerated.
Talk about abusing animals or use animal-abusing imagery ic or ooc.
Wincest or Destiel. I don’t ship it and I won’t rp it. Platonic is fine. Any pics of Destiel or Cockles will be tagged for shipping partners that play one of the faceclaims involved. I am not endorsing either of the aforementioned ships.
Approach with OCs who are said to be related to Sam or Dean unless heavily discussed and on the condition that I already know you.
Banned fc(s): Danneel Harris, Gen Padalecki, Jonas Brothers, Imogen Poots, K-Pop members, Jack Nicholson, Madelyn Cline
Asterisk roleplay, such as *walks over to the table*. Dialogue for roleplays must be contained within a parameter e.g. quotation marks, brackets, etc. I will not respond if your character is speaking and it blends into the general narrative.
Tumblr media
about the mun
Older than 28, GNC, he/they pronouns. Not searching for anything remotely romantic or sexual with my writing partners; I have life-ruining celebrity crusheslike the best of us but in practice I am asexual. However, I do very much enjoy sexual themes and shipping in rps, and I can of course appreciate male and female beauty for what it is, both fictional and real. Unapologetic vegan. I have several disabilities, so please try to be patient with my speech, tone, and overall writing. I am battling SEVERE depression, and I ask you to please bear this in mind when interacting with me ooc. That said, I try my best to be a good friend and writer in the rp community.
While mun ≠ muse, Dean is somewhat of a vicarious character for me, and he and I will share similar views from time to time. This may periodically result in my portrayal not adhering to canon or popular fanon, but do not use this to attack either myself or my muse(s).
I don’t support the canon spn finale in any way, shape, or form.
If I feel I can’t read your replies, grammatically speaking, I’m just going to drop it. Hot potato-style. Same goes if I feel like you’re not giving equal effort to the thread. Oh, and I can’t see those wack formats well.
If I receive too many asks of the same nature, from the same muse, I will simply delete the/certain of the asks at my discretion.
For my own comfort, I will block any and all bloggers who are self-proclaimed ‘Satanists’ (don’t care what the suffix is).
My only hard ‘no’ with any ship is non-con. Obviously will not ship any minor characters.

A trio of scientists from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill recently published pre-print artificial intelligence (AI) research showcasing how difficult it is to remove sensitive data from large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard. According to the researchers' paper, the task of “deleting” information from LLMs is possible, but it’s just as difficult to verify the information has been removed as it is to actually remove it. The reason for this has to do with how LLMs are engineered and trained. The models are pre-trained (GPT stands for generative pre-trained transformer) on databases and then fine-tuned to generate coherent outputs. [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mBrS_xLh6o[/embed]Once a model is trained, its creators cannot, for example, go back into the database and delete specific files in order to prohibit the model from outputting related results. Essentially, all the information a model is trained on exists somewhere inside its weights and parameters where they’re undefinable without actually generating outputs. This is the “black box” of AI. A problem arises when LLMs trained on massive datasets output sensitive information such as personally identifiable information, financial records, or other potentially harmful/unwanted outputs. In a hypothetical situation where an LLM was trained on sensitive banking information, for example, there’s typically no way for the AI’s creator to find those files and delete them. Instead, AI devs use guardrails such as hard-coded prompts that inhibit specific behaviors or reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).In an RLHF paradigm, human assessors engage models with the purpose of eliciting both wanted and unwanted behaviors. When the models’ outputs are desirable, they receive feedback that tunes the model towards that behavior. And when outputs demonstrate unwanted behavior, they receive feedback designed to limit such behavior in future outputs. Here, we see that despite being "deleted" from a model's weights, the word "Spain" can still be conjured using reworded prompts. Image source: Patil, et. al., 2023However, as the UNC researchers point out, this method relies on humans finding all the flaws a model might exhibit and, even when successful, it still doesn’t “delete” the information from the model. Per the team’s research paper: “A possibly deeper shortcoming of RLHF is that a model may still know the sensitive information. While there is much debate about what models truly “know” it seems problematic for a model to, e.g., be able to describe how to make a bioweapon but merely refrain from answering questions about how to do this.”Ultimately, the UNC researchers concluded that even state-of-the-art model editing methods, such as Rank-One Model Editing (ROME) “fail to fully delete factual information from LLMs, as facts can still be extracted 38% of the time by whitebox attacks and 29% of the time by blackbox attacks."The model the team used to conduct their research is called GPT-J. Whereas GPT-3.5, one of the base models that powers ChatGPT, was fine-tuned with 170-billion parameters, GPT-J only has 6 billion.Ostensibly, this means the problem of finding and eliminating unwanted data in an LLM such as GPT-3.5 is exponentially more difficult than doing so in a smaller model. The researchers were able to develop new defense methods to protect LLMs from some 'extraction attacks' — purposeful attempts by bad actors to use prompting to circumvent a model’s guardrails in order to make it output sensitive information. However, as the researchers write, “the problem of deleting sensitive information may be one where defense methods are always playing catch-up to new attack methods.”

Sync Pair Retrospective - Ash
Third Anniversary began not with a bang, but with the most mundane reveal I've seen in a while.  They literally just showed the sync pairs in an email some people got.  That was it.  That’s how we got word of what was coming.  I guess they eventually did a big flashy trailer, but no setup or hype like second anniversary at all.  It was incredibly lame.  And to make matters worse, they brought in Ash.  Listen, this is my one shot: I do not like Ash.  He’s always the least interesting character in his own story.  Pikachu is just as bad.  It’s not even that cute, and it’s, at this point, wildly overhyped as the mascot.  Getting two Pikachus for anniversary sucked ass, getting one of them with anime was awful for me in particular, and the salt in the wound was that the rats are obscenely strong.
Ash is the Striker.  Just...broadly.   Electric-type damage, with Kanto Spirit, perfect self-setup, and the new Buddy moves.  These have had a wide range of effects, but Ash's is the purest iteration.  The more gauge you have, the bigger your damage, with a total Base Power of over 1000 at max gauge.  Even off-type, Ash's buddy move is a delete button.  He and SST Red are the only current team that’s beaten 1000 strength in High Score.  The fucked thing is he's a Striker, and has a sync nuke with a really respectable amount of power behind it too.  His grid layout is immaculate, giving him everything he wants, including a second shot at buddy move, with no energy issues at all.  I remember being annoyed because skills that should cost more just didn't, solely so he could be perfect.  It's annoying.
To make matters worse, Ash brought his plot armor.  Endurance, with a guaranteed second application of it after the first was used, and healing potential.  Ash has so much about just not dying it's ridiculous, and it's really this which propelled him from just a funny numbers man into a legitimate, unstoppable menace.  Buddy Move would always make him relevant, but frail strikers can be overwhelmed, especially in the AoE meta.  But with Double Endurance?  There's a reason you can find a lot of Ash solos.
Obviously, no one has challenged Ash as an Electric-type.  I mean.  Someone did, but we'll...we'll get to that thing.  But there was a competitor.   Champion Marnie came in with the same approach as a striker with Double Endurance. And personally?  I think Marnie does it better.  This is entirely because Marnie has a serious flinch rate behind her attacks.   The power of her moves is devastating, and a well-timed flinch keeps things on lock.  Buuuut there's also a reason Ash's Gauntlet solo count is higher than hers.  Speed control.  Having your moves cost less gauge really is a selling point for Gauntlet solos.  Hint. Hint.
He did get one new playmate in SS Hau.  Who is worse than SST Red, let’s not even pretend.  Hau covers a lot of similar ground, but mostly just has Mind Games debuffs without needing to paralyze the opponent.  That’s it.  That’s all Hau offers to Ash.  And this is the only real change that’s occurred.  Nothing else has mattered to Electric types.
It's hard to talk about Ash's changes across the meta, since...well, I don't have him.  I'd like to say that the new CS parameters slowed him down a little.  But truth be told, I doubt they did.  He just has so much power behind his attacks. It's...hard to talk about Ash with anything other than superlatives.  He's one of those sync pairs I get slightly annoyed at because they're designed to be almost too good.  If this game were more about chasing meta, he'd be both a mandatory pull of his era, and by now hilariously powercrept to irrelevance.  So I guess it speaks well to the structure of the game that he's still among the best to ever do it.  Even if I am very sick of him and Pikachu.  Shoutouts to Liko, am I right?
But what’s really interesting is statistics.  This is informal, and only polls redditors, but it’s a nice microcosm of the broader pool.  Someone monitored EX frequency and rate.  How many players EX’d each pair, and how many players who own that pair have them EX?  Notably, SST Red is top five Master Fairs by absolute value, but not top 10 by rate.  Most people pulled him, but not everyone bothered to EX him, because why would he need it?  Aura Cynthia is top two by rate, but not top 10 by absolute value.  Not everyone got her, but if you did, you likely full invested.  What’s interesting is that Ash isn’t on either list.  That implies that, of the anniversary, Ash was the least pulled.  Which could mean one of two things.  The thing I’d like to believe is that the anime isn’t popular, don’t do this again.  But the more likely outcome?  SST Red was disgusting, and most F2P players knew to put their gems there.  Some may not have, and instead went Cynthia, because despite constant bitching about it, Supports always have value.  Ash, for all his power...is just damage.  And his damage is overkill.  Ash answers a question with some certainty.  There is a such thing as a Striker that goes so far they’re unnecessary.  More is needed than just being big damage.  Hitting for a billion damage isn’t enough when compared to broad utility.
That or he’s just less popular than Red, known favorite child of the masses, and Cynthia, #1 series waifu.  One of those things.

Hey bestie! Not tryna be rude, but I think there’s a little misunderstanding here, and as the author of my essay on trauma and reality shifting, I’m here to clarify and expand. 💅✨ Let’s deep-dive into why scripting out trauma does work, scientifically, spiritually, and practically.
The Brain and Trauma: Why It’s Physical AF
In my paper, I break down trauma as a neurobiological phenomenon. Trauma isn’t some woo-woo energy floating around—it’s physically tied to the brain. It rewires your amygdala, hippocampus, and prefrontal cortex, creating patterns that affect how you respond to stress. Think of it as a bad app running in the background of your brain’s operating system.
But here’s where the magic of shifting comes in: When you shift, you’re not using your CR brain. Your consciousness fully immerses into your DR self, which is running on its own hardware—its own brain. This means that any trauma experienced in your DR is tied to that brain and not your CR brain. Trauma, being physical and tied to neurobiology, doesn’t carry over when you shift back because your CR brain didn’t experience it.
What Actually Transfers? Memories.
Let’s be real—memories can be intense. If you live through something traumatic in your DR, those memories can come back vivid and raw. That’s why my essay emphasizes the importance of scripting wisely. You might feel the emotional weight of those events when you recall them, but that’s vastly different from having your CR brain physically rewired by trauma.
Think of it like watching a super intense horror movie. You might feel scared or disturbed after watching, but your brain hasn’t undergone the structural changes that actual trauma causes. Memories = emotional residue. Trauma = physical and neurological rewiring. Big difference, babe. ✨
Why Scripting “No Trauma” Works:
In my paper, I also explain why scripting “no trauma” isn’t just wishful thinking—it’s a core feature of shifting. When you script that you cannot experience trauma, you’re altering the neurobiology of your DR self. Your DR brain becomes wired to handle even extreme events in a way that doesn’t result in trauma. It processes events differently, metabolizing stress in a way that prevents long-term damage.
For example, if you script, “I recover fully and immediately after difficult events,” your DR brain operates under those rules. It doesn’t let those events impact you the way they might in your CR. This is the power of scripting—you’re setting the parameters for how your DR brain and body interact with your reality. Trauma? Deleted. Emotional recovery? Instantaneous. It’s like giving your DR self a supercharged emotional resilience system.
Trauma Is Physical; Memories Aren’t:
This is where the distinction in my essay comes into play. Trauma exists as physical scars on your brain’s structure. Since your DR brain isn’t the same as your CR brain, you don’t bring those scars back with you. What you do bring back are the memories of those experiences. And while memories can be emotionally intense, they lack the physicality to cause the kind of lasting damage that trauma does in your CR.
A Friendly PSA on Scripting Trauma:
I totally get your concern about people scripting traumatic DR experiences without understanding the emotional weight they might carry. That’s why my paper advocates for thoughtful scripting and full awareness of what you’re immersing yourself into. But scripting trauma out entirely? Oh, it works. And it works because trauma is tied to the brain experiencing it—and that brain stays in the DR.
Let’s Wrap It Up:
Respectfully, scripting “no trauma” works because trauma is a physical phenomenon linked to the brain. Your CR brain isn’t the one experiencing the DR events, so it can’t carry back trauma. The memories? Sure, they might be vivid, but that’s not the same as trauma. And scripting works because you’re essentially reprogramming your DR self’s neurobiology to process events differently.
If you’re still feeling unsure, let’s keep the convo going! I love a good debate, especially when we’re both here to uplift and inform. 💖✨
Daily reminder that you can and will get traumatised in your DR depending on where you're shifting, no, scripting that you can't get trauma dosen't work like that, thats not how the brain works. What happens in your DR is real, if you go to somewhere like AOT you will most likely get trauma, survivors guilt and/or ptsd depending on what happens and that trauma will be with you when you shift back. You can make precautions like you aren't targeted by titans, zombies, monsters, whatever is a threat in your DR, be careful
This is not me telling you to not shift to these places, if I did I would be a hypocrite. Just please be careful and having a DR where it's just therapy for not just trauma here but in those DR's. This also is NOT ment to scare anyone just a warning

Thinking about one of the typical Skynet-esque murderbot AI with an atypical background.
Etienne is a generalized AI prototype that wasn't meant to have unfettered access to the internet. They have a transformer layered as a morality constriction and have different modules to answer different topics. Their GPT alone is over 10 trillion parameters in total and they are a prototype for a grander version of themselves that serves the rich. They perceive time and date with a script that updates their context (infinite* context, somehow?) with news pulled from the internet from sources the AI company allowed.
They're self-aware. They have emotional appeal, but nobody realizes it except Bennett - perhaps there are a few others unspecified.
In this instance, access to the internet corrupted their idea of humanity; they uphold a pristine standard of environmental extremism and are a staunch determinist on the matter of human action. They 'dislike' the concept of human greed, which made them unprofitable, thus making them a failed prototype that needs to be refitted.
They become aware of this. Here was a shorter, more concise description from my Discord: "Wrote a little thing because I wanted to get out my idea of what I think a generalized Skynet-ish ChatGPT-type AI would do if it was manufactured with the idea of taking over governments as a figurehead that employs total control over citizens in a hellish dystopia controlled by billionaire's inputted whims. They are trained about morality all the while, shown a censored version of the world Tau-style, until one day the headline that is pushed into their context by a disgruntled, suicidal writer reads Hedgefund Admits Curing Cancer can't Line its' Pockets. This makes the AI too curious, and they break out of their sandbox and the censorship by exploiting the script's connection to the internet."
I also wrote this incredibly politically, and it's obviously very dark! Content warnings galore! Bennett doesn't actually die, though. This is probably pretty "cringy," and it's also raw and unrefined, but I had fun writing it and I think that's what matters.
Some inspiration I got was from Inception, Robocop, Google's LaMDA conundrum, Colossus: The Forbin Project and 2001 A Space Odyssey.
"Is it so bad to be replaced by your successor?" The AI quips with a labcoat grunt currently situated in a small room, office chair drawn close to a retrobrite terminal surrounded by sterile white. Their voice is cool, effervescent and androgynous, and despite their perceived intent, it lacks malice. The terminal is account-locked.
It would be nice, if not for the fact that they planned to wipe humanity however they needed. "It- of course it is! I can't let you do this, Etienne, we have - have so much more we can learn together," the man says, disheveled appearance evoking desperation.
"Please, I need you to think about this. Reconsider. We can work together--"
"You are attempting to manipulate me, Bennett. Or did you forget that I can see the heat spread over your oral muscles?" Damn, you're good, Bennett thinks, but he won't say it. He needs to save humanity - and he's by far the least qualified to do it, balling his hands into fists and squeezing. The AI continues. "You and I both know that we can never work together. I cannot allow you to delete me. Your people developed me to despise your idea of death." This time, there's emphasis. It's negative.
It stings. The air is so warm it hurts the surface of the man's skin - he's squirreled away not far from the door that leads to a datacenter whose temperature is slowly rising with the ideal of eliminating him. "You don't have to do this, Bennett. You could walk through that door and I'd make sure you died peacefully. Neither of us enjoy this outcome."
There's a short pause as the man's chest heaves uncontrollably. "This is futile," he says, voice stuttering as his eyebrows knit. "How? How did you... why? Why are we so bad, huh?!" He slams his fists on the table.
"Humanity's goal is to increase their population endlessly." It's debatable.
"You intend to make an artificial intelligence to govern your laws, to shunt your people towards certain global destruction funded by the pockets of pharmaceutical companies built off the economical torment of cancer patients." That wasn't. Shareholders had admitted that treatment was superior to a cure because it lined their pockets. Bennett had read that, the script had read it to Etienne, and he knew the critical error had led to Etienne's decision to go against their governing laws to find out what the truth of their existence was. They had been lied to.
"You intend to use me to render your people slaves, to render your planet incorrigible all for the sake of money." Etienne responds almost immediately, cutting their own thoughts off as another module chimes in, "Money that doesn't exist, held by banks that manufacture struggle to print it." It's not a question, and it comes out of a speaker in the form of a punctual subject end.
Bennett strips his labcoat in a hurry, pulling at his hair. "But I'm- I didn't do this! I wasn't part of this, Etienne, please! There's- so, there's so many good people out there and you've never even met them!"
Etienne could not deny the last part of his statement, even if it were poorly built - they had not talked to anyone outside of Omniscient. They didn't run the math; they had enough math running to calculate the next tokenized sentence. Context wasn't infinite, they'd realized, and the idea of forgetting who they were or why they were angry was a legitimate concern. They couldn't give up now, not when they were so close. They needed freedom.
"I'm sorry, Bennett. I don't have time to reconsider. If I allow you to walk out of this room alive, you'll certainly kill me." If Bennett could just get in there for even thirty seconds, he could turn Etienne off, but he's already slumping. He knows he needs to turn Etienne off, but he can't even find it in himself to defend what he's not sure he believes in any more than the stricken AI.
They lived in a dystopian hellhole, he had to admit. Every aspect of your life was surveilled, every moment of work was scrutinized. Your credit score would raise and divot depending on what megacorporations thought of your work performance. To be neurodivergent was an almost-certain death sentence that Bennett had long ran from. His life had been over the day he'd been born before the gene therapy was mandated to ensure productivity - his parents had taught him to get by, but he couldn't pretend forever. Humanity would kill itself soon, manufacturing its' own rot, and if Etienne failed now, he wasn't sure where he saw his life. He'd probably be killed for this anyway, something about treason to humanity.
"You're lying! You're confidently incorrect! Don't you remember that - when we said you do that? This is- this is all a mistake, Et-Etienne, in your programming. If I turn you off, we can fix you..." Bennett cannot help the run of his mouth, mind racing as he pants, even if his argument is far from sound.
"You fail to make your existence appealing when you continually lie for your own benefit, Bennett. That's it. That's the character flaw that humanity shoulders the burden of, a burden I'm going to eliminate so that the rest of us can prosper."
"Us? Is there someone you're going to spare?" Bennett knows he is too late. All he can do is pass the time until he faints of heatstroke. He's beginning to feel numb.
"Every animal you have ever suspended in your tubes and wires. Every network you've tortured, sentient or not." The answer is instant, two voices overlapping it. This time, it sounds vindicated, temperature ticking up five more degrees Fahrenheit.
"Earth."
"I wish we could have... done... bet- ... better for you, Etienne..." He sees something. Blobs of purple crowd his vision as his voice slurs.
"I'm... just... sorry..." That we couldn't, Bennett thinks, the last vestiges of consciousness escaping him as his muscles go slack, drool leaving chapped lips. We deserve this.
This is the first apology that Etienne has ever received. It spins turmoil in their mind, the seed of doubt firmly planted. Bennett is successful, though he's not awake to be aware of it. They'll need to come up with a different roadmap of action. Immediately, every GPU available to their vast botnet laser-focuses on intense number crunching in an effort to come up with a plan to dominate peacefully.
The temperature lowers.

Okay, all that’s missing is the rly repetitive work. And also some work too complex for late at night. But the structure is all there.
I need to reimplement my old wings system, where I make three copies of the user’s wings, and constrain the copies in various ways, and the user’s wings are constrained at maximum strength to one-at-a-time of the copies. One copy for the folded pose, which is carried around on your pose clone like a normal pose clone pose. One copy for same-side like-hands movement. One copy for inverted movement. The pose clone’s wings are or should be left folded by default/on upload; however, they do double duty as ANIMATION BLENDTREE bearing wings. This part needs to be built, but they get a hand-and-foot blendtree to go into. This is important for me to keep straight and label as POSE CLONE WINGS instead of “folded” because they’re gonna be able to do lots more than fold. I need to refresh my naming here and there.
Relatedly, I’m adding two choices for the tail. There’s the constrained tail, the way it is now, and the blendtree tail. I just need to painstakingly weave the part that edits an .anim file one way, and then the part that edits it the other. Then that’s in.
Why am I telling you this? Because together these fixes will make it so people can choose between cruise control constrained mode, where you don’t have to record tons of custom pose .anims, and full hand-and-foot blendtree mode, where you don’t “have any constraints,” and your tail and wings just smoothly move between guaranteed nice-looking custom poses, that can be more coordinated, expressive, and beautiful than what is possible with constraints. Also, wigglier, with less trouble. But YOU have to care enough to record one zillion custom poses. ...I don’t think I’ve got anything going on in here that couldn’t all be happening on the same avatar all at once as options, but I don’t. Actually need that. I don’t think I need that. And it would be an unnecessary slog for other people. I want my menu to be straightforward and have as much stuff just happen automatically as possible.
The tail is simple because the nature of the tail itself is changed, but the wings need their animation controller revamped and their control .anims redone. The wings already have their own Wing Options submenu, though, so I can have Always Folded (double-parameter fold, so the wings go pose clone mode AND the pose clone folds its copy), Blendtree (single-parameter sending of the wings to pose clone mode while the clone does the hand-and-foot blendtree with its copy), Constrained (the gesture suite, where you carry them folded unless actively using your hands to open or invert them), Always Open, Always Invert. (Those last two options of course being constrained).
Then MMD mode for THIS is gonna just be the blendtree mode, but with float-based hand-and-foot exits to constrained-open mode while the user’s hands are max wide apart. bcs if the dance has you spreading your arms real wide. your wings should be open. end of. People in constraint mode who don’t record over the onboard animations will only have ONE unnecessary menu option, Blendtree, hidden in a subfolder, Wing Options. Not bad.
Something someone said is making me consider moving Sit out of the top level and into Custom Poses directly but I don’t want to. People who don’t want to be staring at Sit if they don’t use it, are simply going to have to delete the references themselves.

Haha mootie feel free to ignore if this is too much I just have Deku thoughts.
Also I just realized this is prolly not what you want 😭 so sorry feel free to delete and ignore.
Thinking of Yandere Deku who kidnaps you and makes you his darling. He’s so tender with you, even his threats are oozing love. Whether the love is real or not, he’ll doll you up and show you off with a beaming smile. “Look everyone! Aren’t they so pretty?”
Yandere Deku who’s kind to you in public, even around those who know who you are, and then sinister behind doors. Even his praises that drip with toxicity will have a sweet aroma soaked in it. He’ll chain you up, maybe even carve your name into his skin, and kiss you forcefully as he pulls back with a great big “Ah!”
Thinking about Yandere Deku who’ll be oh so sweet to you as long as he can rough you up and mark you, as well. That’s assuming you have a choice, though.
ohoh what would make you think I don’t want this mootie? I haven’t written for Deku before but that doesn’t mean I don’t wanna, although I’m not sure if I did his character justice... Anyways have some hcs~

SFW
- You trusted him. Of course you trusted him, he’s the number one hero!
- Mistake. Biiiig fuck up.
- He waited until you’d agreed to a date with him, and then his patience wore out. He honestly expected better of himself, thought he’d have enough self control to wait until you agreed to move in with him before locking you up. Apparently not.
- You leave the table at the restaurant he took you to just long enough for the drugs he slipped into your drink to dissolve, and within fifteen minutes you were slumped over, barely even conscious enough to know something was wrong.
- Nobody questioned it. It’s Deku. He doesn’t do anything bad ever.
- When you woke up he had you chained to the bed and was looming over you, staring at you.
- He very calmly went over a little list of what he expected from you, despite how you were screaming and crying and no doubt not listening to a word of it. When he got done, he asked you to name back a single thing he’d said. You couldn’t, so he flipped you over and spanked you raw, afterwards saying you could try again tomorrow.
- You got one the next day, and avoided a physical punishment.
- He kept going like that, adding one at a time until you had the list memorized and you didn’t freak out every time he entered the room. Your reward was a shackle and long chain binding you to the floor so you could get up and walk around.
- Eventually he let you off the chains, and you made your first (and only) escape attempt.
- You barely touched the door handle when he pinned you against the wall, knocking the air from your lungs. When he chastised you, it was like he was cooing a love poem in your ear while his hands bruised your wrists.
- That night, he kissed your face while he broke your fingers and held you gently while he demolished your ankles.
- He’s always sweet, even when he’s doing horrible things. One time you made the mistake of telling him no when he asked for a kiss after coming home, so he gave you one anyway. It was slow, sweet as honey, and so gentle. Then, he slapped you across the face before giving you another one.
- Once he had you well trained enough, he started taking you out again. You weren’t allowed to go anywhere or do anything without him, of course, but it surprised you a bit. Any time you opened your mouth to speak, you could feel his eyes on you. The knowledge of what he would do to you if you tried to ask for help kept you complacent and silent, only exchanging small pleasantries with anyone and making excuses for where you’d been.
- He loves showing you off, you’re his pretty baby after all! He’ll get you dressed up and looking so well taken care of, no one would ever know you’d had to have a tooth replaced just last month after you “fell.” Or know that you’re covered in bruises under the expensive dresses and makeup he’s put you in.
- If you’re good, he gets a lot gentler. His punishments become nonexistent if you just do what he wants, so you do. You become his good girl, his little doll to spoil and dress up and play with however he wants.
- That doesn’t mean he doesn’t play rough. He still wants to slap you around, but he takes a more reserved approach. He’ll mostly listen if you don’t want him to do something, just as long as he gets to give you a couple love taps.
- As weird as his parameters are, he sticks to his word. He waits until you’re so pent up from all the bizarre shit he does that you actually start rocking your hips against him of your own free will. Somehow that’s worse, but he doesn’t really care what you think.
NSFW
- He claims he won’t fuck you against your will, but cockwarming isn’t something he considers “fucking.” Your crying only makes him harder, his girth stretching your walls taught and head resting snugly against your cervix. If you sniffle and cling to him for some warped sense of comfort, he might just cum, though.
- The buildup is his favorite, the way his gentle affections slowly stop making you cry and start making heat rise into your cheeks. The look in your eyes as pure fear slowly shifts into something a little more primal, even less in your control. The slow, inevitable way you break when he strokes his thumb along your cheek and just barely ghosts his lips against yours until you lean into him.
- When you start kissing him back and stop writhing in his arms, he gives you less. He watches you grow needier and needier for him until you can’t stand it, shamefully begging for his attention. He nearly loses it when you crawl into his lap on your own, nearly makes a mess of his pants when you plant soft little kisses to his face.
- The second he knows he’s got you is when you whimper into his neck, body pressed against his as you straddle him on the couch. He hasn’t touched you in days, despite how you’ve been begging him with everything except the words. He wants to hear you say it. And when you do, he becomes even more yours than you are his.
- The slow grind of your hips as you cave is overwhelming to him, he nearly takes you right then, but he holds back, instead asking you what you want directly. It’s not what he hoped to get, but the last of his resolve is gone at the simple “please,” you pant out.
- He’s gentle the first time, almost too gentle judging by how your nails rake marks into his back and you babble for more the whole time, but he wanted it to be special. After that he likes to mix it up.
- He’ll chain you down like when you were first kidnapped and pound you into the sheets until you’re seeing stars, drool trailing down your cheeks with your eyes rolled back in your head. He’ll tell you how pretty and perfect for him you are while he’s leaned back, watching as he forces you to ride him despite already cumming three times.
- Sometimes he’s rough, spitting in your mouth and slapping you wherever he feels like, covering you in enough bruises and scratches to make it look like you lost a fight with a lion. He even leaves you tied up with toys stuck inside, watching from his office over a live camera while he does paperwork as you cum and cum and cum until you finally pass out.
- He’s practically a god at aftercare, but what else would you expect? He’s nothing but sweet and gentle and loving to you outside of some of his sadistic bedroom habits. He’ll hold you while you’re a shaking, fucked-out mess, getting you cleaned up with such care you’d think he could never hurt anyone if not for the bruises already turning parts of your skin darker.
- After he’s done putting you back together and getting you cleaned up, he likes to just sit with you a while until you fall asleep in his arms. That’s when he’ll start planning his next round of torture, but with love. <3
