I feel like restarting my AU right now as I feel like it'd be a slog to work with in its current state...

It's actually Alina, but it's now Oc TADC. Despite her teeth, she is actually very kind and funny and treats everyone well except Jax. When she got there, she clearly wasn't confused about why she didn't have a name and where the exit was.
Facts:
1. Wcutier - It's from the word "Wonder" and "Cutier". This inspires her behavior towards everyone and her favorite game "Balan wonderworld".
2. She likes to get objects through her hair.
3. Her two drawings have a reference. The knee emojis are a reference to Balan and Lance from Balan Wonderworld. The notes with the ball with horns are a reference to my singing monsters.
4. She likes to scare Jax with Corn, adding the phrase "This is going to be a hurricane right now." A funny reference to Balan Wonderworld in chapter 1, where there is corn, that there is a hurricane in the backstory and battle.
5. Judging by the phrases and when she rages, she remembers her fanaticism over her favorite games and cartoons.
6. Her eyes are pink when everything is fine, and when they are red, she is ready to scare Jax.
7. She can't fly.
8. The brush on the tail is actually metal.
9. Her skin is white and the tips on her paws are pink.

Why do I award BalanWonderworld as a masterpiece?

Introduction
⚠️I'm using a translator, so I apologize if any parts are difficult to read.
In this article, I will write about why I award Balan Wonderworld as a masterpiece, with answers to criticisms.
When I played the demo version, I thought this game was SO BAD. But I believed Yuji Naka and bought the full version. (Before I knew it, I had bought four of them...) I'm not raving blindly about it.
At first, I was hopelessly disappointed because nothing had changed from the demo version. However, in chapters 2 and 3, I was impressed by the three-dimensionality and beauty of the stages, and in chapter 4, I realized the comfort of gaining freedom through the acquisition of costumes.
By the time I was completely finished, I was convinced that this game was a great piece of work.
This is an article that I wrote after spending nearly 100 hours on this game.
I hope you will read it.
Main part
First of all, this game is not a game with flashy action as its primary objective. (Flashy battle action is possible in some scenes.)
【Puzzle】 【RPG】 【Exploration】
It is structured around these three main components.
The game also features a "Balance AI" that senses the player's movements and makes changes to the difficulty and world. There is also a presentation of my own work, so please take a look!
Please read with the above in mind.
■ One button action is stressful.
▶︎ As mentioned earlier, this game is not intended for flashy action. At its root, it is an RPG and does not require multiple buttons. The reason it's a simple operation is because it doesn't need to be.
There is only one button, but instead the player is given the freedom to select up to three actions of their choice. The way to play Balan is to find your own strategy within these constraints.
Some people point out that you can't jump, but only a few outfits limit jumping. Most of them are attack-oriented outfits. It's up to you to decide whether you want more attack power or more movement power.
If you're still not convinced, this game just isn't to your liking.(If that's you, I recommend the Wii version of Rodea.)

NiGHTS and Sonic are also action games with simple controls, but the concept is different from Baran, as explained below.
From the very beginning, NiGHTS and Sonic are one-button games that allow for exhilarating action. The action feels good and allows for improvement through trial and error.
However, Balan begins in a state of helplessness. One of his goals is to use his wits and eventually gain the power to run freely around the three-dimensional stage.
Freedom from discomfort. This catharsis is the best part of Balan.
It is also linked to the story's theme of opening closed minds.
■ The structure of the puzzle is sketchy.
▶︎ There is an intention behind this. By making the puzzle structure more flexible, the player is given more choices.
Therefore, each player will have a completely different solution to obtaining a single statue.
Also, each time you play the game, you will find new strategies, making it a game that can be played repeatedly.
This is the reason why Yuji Naka was so confident about this game.
Personally, I think that this action with a puzzle concept has a similar point of view to card games and rock-paper-scissors.
The Mega Man series is a typical example of a game that requires you to observe the situation and your opponent's movements to find the right technique and move. In fact, there is a famous episode where it was derived from rock-paper-scissors. This is also a game where you can enjoy improving through trial and error, but I think the structure of the rules is similar to that of Balan.

■ It's a pain to stock up on costumes.
▶︎ There is no need to overstock costumes. The minimum number of costumes needed to clear the course will naturally be available. Dependence on certain costumes can make the game monotonous. Also, the BalanceAI can sense your movements and take countermeasures.
As the difficulty level increases, you will have a hard time because the costumes will not come back.
The game is made more interesting by the style of play that allows you to use all the costumes to their fullest extent and bring out the true value of each one.
If you run out, explore the stage while collecting costumes. It may lead to new discoveries.
Even if you don't have a specific costume, there are many situations you can get through by applying other costumes.
This degree of freedom is what makes Balan so interesting. The strategy is left to your imagination.
■ The stage is curved. Isn't this a useless design?
▶︎ The curvature of the map allows you to see every corner of the stage. You may be confused because there is no other game that tries to do something like this. However, this is an ideal map for exploration games.
The basics of this gimmick are used as of chapter 1. Chapter 7, which has particularly large differences in elevation, makes good use of this gimmick.
■ The difficulty level is too low.
▶︎ Basics → Application → Review (Boss battle)
This game is designed to follow the above flow thoroughly. As a result, the difficulty level in the early stages is kept low, but the endgame is quite difficult. I almost lost my mind in chapter 12.
The bosses are easy to defeat. However, it is difficult to conquer all three strategy patterns.
Also, if you keep defeating enemies quickly without taking damage, the difficulty level will increase.Stronger and faster enemies will appear in large numbers.I found the difficulty level increased at chapter 3.

In other words, the difficulty of the game depends on how good you are.
■ I want to have a HP separate from my costume.
▶︎ This system prompts the player to use a different costume in case of failure.
Depending on the situation, you can either sacrifice valuable costumes, or use inconvenient but well-stocked costumes... The game throws a variety of choices at the player. This gameplay becomes more apparent as the difficulty level increases.
If you separate the HP from the costume, this tense gameplay will be lost.
The system of choosing outfits based on what will happen next fosters the ability to think and survive on one's own. It will also help the child's ego independence.
■ I need more explanations and hints. It's designed in an unfriendly way.
▶︎ It's not a game that requires you to do anything difficult, so if you think about it, you should be able to understand it to some extent. All you have to do is immerse yourself in collecting statues by any route you can think of.
Some people criticize Balan for being old-fashioned, but they are missing the point.
Games are essentially content that teaches you to think and act for yourself. This is a posting of what games should be, and a refreshing return to the basics.
However, I don't mean to criticize modern games. The immersive feeling of being in a movie, and the friendly design of the UI that shows you where you are going so you don't get lost. I think it's a beautiful evolution for today's hectic world where it's hard to find time to be alone.
However, to be honest, it is abnormal to say that only works that follow the latest trends are evaluated, and it is difficult to say that there is creativity in such works. Evolving technology and the presence or absence of originality have completely different meanings.
I would like to say that games like Balan, which have their own rules and think for themselves, are what we need today.
■ I don't understand the story. I want subtitles.
▶︎ With both video and dubbing, the amount of information is extremely high. By not using real words, all the people in the world have the exact same experience. Very romantic, don't you think?
It's not to dismiss the unspoken parts as non-existent, but to let your imagination run wild and have fun with it.
Since ancient times, there has been an aesthetic in Asia that finds meaning in blank spaces.
If you want a more substantial story, I recommend the novel version, which probably has what you want. It is available for Kindle.
At the end
Balan Wonderworld is a game designed to grow with the player the more time they spend playing.
Despite its gorgeous visuals, the reality of the story is deep and Yuji Naka's philosophy shines through, making it a masterpiece that can be called a compilation of his work.
At first, you may find some scenes difficult or the system annoying. However, they all have a meaning and will make sense as you continue to play.
Balan is built on a very complete system.
EVERY MOMENT IS AN ADVENTURE... This tagline is true.
But the fact is that Balan is a very peaky game. But that's also true for Sonic and NiGHTS.
If you have enjoyed Yuji Naka's past works, you will surely understand the quality of Balan. I recommend that you take the time to face this game first without any preconceived notions.

Now that I've spoken highly of Balan, I'd like to offer some criticism of the official advertising.
I think the main reason for this failure was the poor choice of stages included in the demo version, which made it difficult to convey the fun of expanding the degree of freedom by acquiring costumes, the sense of freedom, and the fun of being able to create a number of unique strategies.
As for the official SNS, rather than introducing the costumes and the storyline by themselves, the official should have done a better job of showing how they are all connected to make this game interesting.
That's how it looked from my personal point of view, but I believe that the current situation is the result of continuous failures in the area of advertising.
I'm so disappointed that this masterpiece is being buried, and I hope that the officials will have the guts to turn its reputation upside down even now.

Balan Wonderworld Review: Favorite Costumes Part 2
Before we get started, I like to say something. I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE TIM TRAPS. If you don't know, there is a specific plant that tends to appear in certain levels called Tim Traps. A carnivorous orange flower that's favorite meal is TIMS. If you kick the plants, you can free your Trapped Tim or prevent one from getting trapped for a short period of time. Problem is if the Tim is trapped for too long, your baby is gone for good. Chapter 3 and Chapter 5's Act 3 are loaded with these annoying plants. To the point if I can't find the trapped Tims, I exit out of the game just to save my poor fluffballs. Ain't sacrificing my little birds for Drops and Trophies! Mini rant over.
Rules are the same as before. I'd be ranking both a Common Costume and Rare Costume. Common Costumes are easily to find whether it be in multiple levels and Rare Costumes are those that rarely appear or are difficult to get.
I'll be doing my favorite Secret Costume after playing all Act 3s for each chapter. Now let's begin.
Chapter 7

Common Costume- Floaty Flower
The Flower Fairy and greatest glider found in the main story. Floaty Flower is a costume that can be found in the Act 1, 2 and the Boss Act, it offers a slower descent but faster movement than the hover for Soaring Sheep.
I love this costume not for its aesthetic but a cute Easter Egg I found in Chapter 7 Act 1. On rare occasions, this costume is an NPC that actually flirts with you! Some NPCs in certain chapters act differently from their standard counterpart. They often try to disguise themselves or runaway. Catching them grants you a free costume of the one you caught.
Floaty Flower will appear and follow you, similar to a shy school girl with a crush. If you go to her, she will run which is a similar action to any shy person getting approached by their crush. Also... I think there is some lore hidden in this one that might be quite sad if it's directly linked to Cal, the human whose heart created this particular world. If so then... OOF.
Rare Costume - Paladin Puncher
A knight fights with his fists than a sword. This costume can be found in Act 2 and is a stronger version of the Pumpkin Puncher that can break iron or ice blocks. He's a bit slower than his Chapter 6 counterpart but perfect breaking the more blocks and defeating spiky enemies.
I also love the fact this costume goes against the traditional tools of a knight. Knights often fight using swords, shields, lances and rare occasions bows or axes. If you give me one who PUNCHES or straight uses martial arts to fight then you got my vote in seconds.
Chapter 8

Common Costume - Snow Fairy
Elegant dancer of ice and snow. The Snow Fairy costume allows the wearer to walk on air for a short period of time and can in found in Act 1 and Act 2. This costume does have a shorter usage time than Air Cat but makes up for it with the added elevation.
I absolutely adore how elegant and beautiful this particular costume is. You can compare the Snow Fairy to myths often related to fae or hidden in the freezing mountains. An otherworldly beauty that makes any hardship worth seeing just a being before your eyes. Being a reindeer type Faun just adds to the mystique and creating snowflakes to walk on is a perfect extra touch.
Rare Costume - Amadeus
Sophisticated pianist. A costume that can only be found in Act 1 and is a performing costume. Now I am a big fan of piano covers, whether it be covers of game osts or actual songs, there is rarely any piano music I don't like.
I love the fact he's wearing piano keys as a collar and even has a tutu made out of those very keys. A very creative take to a normally grounded instrument. And the big white wig is a nice touch since it's often portrayed with pianists in various media.
Chapter 9

Common Costume- Iron Panda
Adorable crusher. Iron Panda is a costume found in Act 1 and Act 2 with the ability to break iron blocks using both its jump and weight. This costume is surprisingly fast for a rather large and heavy form, perfect for fast stomps on enemies or quick getaways if you have rare costumes you don't want to lose.
This costume reminds of a rolling Russian Doll with a panda theme. Very adorable, the bluish purple color suits the white very nicely and I love that sleepy look on its face. The large blue dots on its sides are actually the arms too, they mimic panels! Only thing that unnerves me is when the costume turns their head by a 90 degree angle. Super creepy when using it.
Rare Costume- Merry Ghost
Cute and Spooky! The Merry Ghost is a costume that can be found in Act 2 and gives the ability to constantly float. It's main purpose is to avoid ground hazards like poison swamps and has a larger slightly floaty jump. The only downside is that you can't harm enemies with this, it's only for quick mobility.
Very adorable especially with the stitched rag cloak covering the body. It has this Mimikyu sort of vibe but also a Casper the Friendly Ghost aura too. Friendly spirits are often tossed aside for more vicious or antagonistic ones in a lot of media. Getting an adorable friendly one just adds points in my book and a good pal for Casper.
Chapter 10

Common Costume - Inky Blaster
Yuji Naka's take on a squid kid. This costume can be found in Act 1, Act 2 and the Boss Act. She allows the wearer to throw fast globs of rainbow paint at opponents or targets and is decently agile.
Love that her hands are paintbrushes and is based on the octopus. Tentacles mimicking the frills of a dress and used for hair and feet? A very creative take and splattering rainbow paint on the annoying types of Negati (looking at you ya divebomb happy Pelican and destroyer of most of my good costumes) is very therapeutic.
Rare Costume- Air Unicorn
The first unicorn I like?! This costume can only be found in Act 1 and allows the user to walk on air farther than Air Cat. The practical godfather of mobility, and recovery. You won't believe how many times this costume has gotten me to very difficult areas and saved me from death via falling into the abyss.
It is a very tricky costume to find but if you turn around, there's a large paintbrush on the wall. You need the Double Jumper to get on top but you'll be able to see a hidden mirror. That is where the Air Unicorn is located.
I won't lie that unicorns are not my preferred mythological creature. I live in America where unicorns tend to be oversaturated to oblivion and don't get me started on My Little Pony. The show isn't my cup of tea but I do have some followers and friends who are fans. People have their own opinions and it's rude to question them about it.
I honestly love the elegant but cute design, the purple, pale pink and cyan just fit well with the white, I also love that the mane mimics a paintbrush tip and the large light purple collar of fur is a perfect touch to this fine design.
Chapter 11

Common Costume - Bulldozer
A man's punny best friend! This costume can be in Act 1, Act 2 (?), and the Boss Act. It lets you push special construction blocks and you can boost the push speed by button mashing.
They definitely took a lot of creative for costumes in Chapter 11 amongst the other ones in my opinion. Fire Stations tend to have some animal companions with dogs being the most common but instead of a Dalmatian for the design they used a Bulldog! 😍
Like the aforementioned machine, this good boy is bulky, has the appropriate color scheme and even the hands turn into bulldozer's shovel when using the ability! I love the fact his tail is wagging when you push a block and it wags faster if ya button mash!
Also the name is a pun!
Rare Costume - Fiery Blaster
Pyromancer of Lions. The Fiery Blaster costume can only be found in Act 2. It gives the wearer that ability to throw large fireballs alongside fire and lava immunity. If you hate lava levels or have difficulty with this Chapter's boss then I recommend getting this Costume.
First thing I like to say about this particular design is how they use the colors. Looking at the mane, you can see how the red and darker red are patterned in a way to mimic flames. The dark red fur on the feet are even in fire like a pattern. The outfit such as the yellow and brownish kilt alongside the gloves spewing fire around the wrists just reminds me of a fire dancer.
I can see this fella wielding one of the torches a fire dancer uses and just put on a spectacular show.
Chapter 12

Another loveable version of a beloved icon. The Invisible Man costume can be found in Act 1, Act 2 and the Boss Act. It has the power to turn the wearer invisible for a period of time and become undetected to enemies that aren't bosses.
Agile and perfect to deal with enemies who are very annoying or are difficult snipers. You don't know how satisfying it is to give the more aggravating Negati an invisible middle finger by sneak attacking them. I have lost many costumes whenever enemies got the drop on me so it's fair to dish out payback.
I love how this design takes aspect from the popular icon but also have it relate to their human counterpart. Bandages were used by the original Invisible Man to cover skin his normal clothing couldn't cover in public and made it easier for him to disappear when needed.
The shoes and arms being covered in bandages and some of the bandages being used as bangs for the hair is a nice touch.
Rare Costume - Jolt Tiger
Immovable Taser. This costume can only be found in Act 2. It grants electricity immunity and create a barrier when you stand still. One of the better costumes for baiting particular enemies. You do have to be careful because a single itch will stop the barrier.
If you don't know, the Tiger is my Chinese Zodiac and electricity is one of my favorite elements. Love the yellow lightning bolt flairs and even the black stripes mimic lightning too! I also like the will o' wisp pattern on the stomach and the large tuft of grayish fur around the chest. The design puts it above the Sun Walker.
And that is it! The next thing I will cover is the level design and it's music. The bosses will be done last since it's good to save the best for last!

People start to be Grasped by the Tentacles as they try to make their escape from the terminal fate of being pulled into the portal itself…

The city would soon be somewhat empty as around 30-something percent of the population still existed in that particular city.
Some were still in their homes…While Others were out of sight of the Giant portal tentacles that would Clench them with their Harsh Grip!
Eventully…Those who weren’t taken by the large portal would soon fall into a eternal slumbering that would normally take a Coma to wake up…But this isn’t a Coma…This is something else…
Something different…a light in the darkness if you will?

Other things about this AU:
1 - I’m planning on turning this into a Fanfic of some kind; It’s still being planned for the time being but the beginning chapters will be good in my opinion.
2 - Each Beginner chapter will follow different perspectives as they meet with other characters and they interact and figure out how they got their in the first place.
For example: Chapter #1 - The episode would be about Mickey Mouse meeting Charlie Brown or Sonic the hedgehog for example.
2/3 - This AU Will have Ocs in it, and most of them were created by me for storytelling and fanfic reasons and for fun mostly.
4 - What inspired you to make this AU?!
Well…I was inspired by the classic feel and aesthetics of these games.
1 - Kingdom hearts
2 - Sonic the hedgehog (Like Sonic adventure and its sequel.)
3 - Nights into Dreams (and its sequel.)
4 - The world ends with you (and its sequel)
5 - Worlds end club
6 - Balan wonderworld
7 - Pokemon
8 - Luigi’s mansion
9 - Ni no kuni (and its sequel.)
I like these games in particular because they are just fun! And some of them have good Fanfiction AU potential that is underused or under appreciated.
So once I get some free time I’m gonna start work on this don’t ya worry!!!

Occupation: Chess Champion

Debut: Chapter 7
Gregory is a minor character of Balan Wonderworld who appears in Chapter 7.
Appearance
Gregory is a young, adult man of an athletic build who stands at the same height as Cal. He has blonde hair, fair skin, and blue eyes. He wears a long-sleeved grey sweater with a v-neck collar over a white high-collared shirt, dark blue pants, and black shoes.
Personality
Not much is known about Gregory's personality. He was shown in the cutscene to have a competitive side to him. But it is unknown if he still views Cal as a rival or has some respect to him. He may have admired Cal as such.
Role
Gregory made only one small appearance in Chapter 7 where he challenged Cal into a game of chess. Cal accepts the challenge and faces him off, but Gregory soon defeats him which causes Cal to succumb to the resentment of being beaten.
After this, he is never seen again.
Trivia
It is unknown what became of Gregory after the events of Balan Wonderworld.
He and the firefighters are the only characters that made the smallest appearances in cutscenes. They all only appeared one time.

Alina and Singing Monsters 3 Chapter:Fairy Island.
In the first person, Alina opens her eyes and notices that she is in someone's bedroom with her friends and her pets. Later, she sat down while Kayna entered the room.
Kayna:Good morning, girls.
Alina:Good morning.
Later, the girls woke up and sat down. And then they noticed that they were in the room.
Christina:Where are we?
Kayna:We are at my friend Floot Fly's house.
Girls except for Alina:Floot Fly?
Floot Fly:It's me.
The heroes immediately noticed her when she ascended.
Julia:Did you save us?
Floot Fly:Yes, I saw you and your friends on the leaves and brought my friends to my house. To make you feel safe.
Alina:I got it. We are trapped in a monster world where Kain's friends live. And what about our friends?
Floot Fly:My friends have them now. If you want, I'll show them.
The heroes came out of her house and saw the others. Kikoriki children played football with Clavi Gnat. Rosa, Cass, Air Cat and Purrla made a wreath of flowers with Wimmzies. Leo and Emma stroked the green creature at the Squot. Carlin, Olga, 7 Dwarves, Kuzko, Kronk, Melina, Wonder, Sylvia, Balan, Lance, costumes 6 and 10 chapter, Lucy, Inkabelle, Fnaf 1, Tom, Jerry, Oggy, Jack, Ella, Lan, Yara, Donut, Seeder, Marina, Lilo, Street cat, Violet and Pink were under the bridge with the rest of the monsters of Fairy Island.
Alina:They are alive.
Krash:Oh! Look, ours!
The characters except from under the bridge approached the girls.
Alina:How glad we are to see you all (To the monsters) and thank you for saving us.
Wimmzie pink:No problem.
Clavi Gnat:Float Fly saw you and called us.
Chiko:And let's go to the others, they just have tea And breakfast for all of us.
Alina:Well, breakfast is breakfast.
The heroes had just joined the others under the bridge, where they were just having tea.
Balan:Oh! Who do we see? These are our beloved friends (The newcomers sat down at the table)
Alina:We are glad to see you all too.
Carlin:You can't even imagine how we were a little scared when we saw monsters that turned out to be friendly.
Kayna:My friends are like that.
Bridg-it:I even invited everyone to tea, in our case breakfast.
Olga:And here are the pies. (She put chocolate, banana and berry pies on the table) Bon appetit.
All the heroes started eating pies.
Ziggurab:Mmm, the same but different taste.
Hippity:It's so delicious.
Emma:I can't imagine how interesting the world of monsters could be.
Double trouble:And the island of fairies has a miracle, like in the wonderworld.
Alina:It's fine here and there anyway. (She noticed that there were no others) Where are the others?
After her words, everyone stopped.
Bonnie:Oh, and we didn't think of the others.
Wonder:What if the hunters start attacking us? We had them.
Kayna:But these are monster hunters, though, because we're going to save us anyway.
Pladdie:Speaking of which. That's why we saved you.
Krash:Now it is clear where this portal and the green creature come from.
Alina:To be honest, Ghatz created the portal. And the green creature is a Spunge.
Monsters except for Kayna:Wow.
Cantorell:(Crazy) I didn't know you knew about monsters.
Kayna:But how did you know where we would be?
Floot Fly:We wanted to find out how you are and we found you using the Ghatz portal. But when we saw the drone, we realized that you were being watched and rescued.
Alina:So John is smarter than us. This is the hunter himself that I met.
Cristina:Now it's clear how you know.
Pladdie:Fortunately, after the rescue, we promised that we would play the Fairy Island song.
Kayna:Well, I hope John isn't here yet.
Pladdie:Then let's get started.
The monsters of Fairy Island began to sing.
Music Fairy Island.

After the song, the heroes clapped.
Alina:I love this song.
Lucy:You all have a wonderful talent.
Julia:And Kayna sang like in a concert with us.
Alina:To be honest, it was my idea. She was just worried.
Everyone except Alina:Your idea?
Kayna:Yes, she wanted to help. Because that's how I sang.
Balan:So what? It's still good, the main thing is that we're all safe.
Alina:Since that's the case, let's go after the others while there are no hunters.
Pladdie:To do this, you need a map of the monster world. (Holding the card) With the help of it, we can immediately understand where we are going.
Alina:Well, let's start with the island of plants. And there is a boat so that we can all fit? I decided that we should gather all the monsters and come up with a plan.
Christina:Are you sure?
Alina:I don't know, but everyone has to come up with a plan.

The heroes took their places on the boat and headed for the island of plants.
Meanwhile, with hunters.
The hunters flew on an airship and searched for heroes. John was looking at the search navigator.
John:There's nothing yet, but that doesn't mean there aren't any.
