“Jacob?” You whisper sweetly, watching the bigger male forcefully throw pebbles into the lake, maybe it was a distraction, one that reframed him from replaying the exact moment his whole world tumbled down.

You trail off. He wasn’t surprised, but glad, glad you had followed behind, at-least someone was fond of him. His frown settled into a small smirk, a weak smirk that hid away his true feelings.

You sit yourself beside him. Immediately you could tell he had been crying, from his slightly puffy, red eyes to the clear tears that stained his olive skinned cheeks

It was silent between the two of you, not that you minded, Jacob actually preferred it that way, enjoying your company with the silence that followed but of course, you were way to sweet to keep quiet.

He did, but his smirk faded, instead it was replaced with that frown from before. You could sense how hurt he was from, judging by his sniffling he wasn’t going to stop feeling sorry for himself any time soon and that in itself broke your heart, you had to do something.

Scooting closer, Jacob uses his strength to his ability, forcing a big splash to topple over your hair, soaking it. You squeal feeling each, single droplet pass by your ears and neck, eventually back into the water.

You giggle once again before shooting him a despicable glance, splashing him back.

“Hey! Quit it!”

You roll your eyes playfully knowing full well he was having fun, maybe the most fun he’s had all summer, especially here anyways.

“Oh! Stop! Being! A! Grump”

You use both hands to paddle small splashes back his way causing him smirk, his arms dunk underneath the water disappearing from view before he slyly pushes water back onto you.

“Ugh! Attack!”

You flinch before shooting him a glare.

Before you could even respond, the male takes a large breath before ducking beneath the water. You look around, trying to catch whatever plan he calculated in his head.

A forceful hand yanks your leg quickly, dragging you underneath. You yelp before the water consumes you. You can already hear the deep laughter erupting from his chest before coming back up to the surface.

Your eyes squint, stopping the water from blurring your vision.

“Dick move.”

You feel his arms secure your waist against his own, the water softening the fabric between you both even more…fuck, was this really happening.

“Jacob…”

You look up into his eyes, capturing that same glint he wore when he accidentally walked in on you showering, something dark, but not entirely lustful, the way his arms soothed over your lower back had you judging his motive.

“Yeah…”

He mutters back, his lips mere inches from your own, you could feel his breath fan across your cheek. You sigh, allowing the older male to pull your bottom half closer until your chest’s were touching.

“Is this okay? I can move away if-“

You shake your head before lifting it, close enough for his plump lips to rub against them.

“Please…Please don’t-“

Your breath hitches once Jacob pushes for the kiss, attaching your lips together. His arms keep you close, holding you against his front. He grunts, your teeth sinking into his bottom lip, tugging on it.

He watches you closely once you pull away, a light blush dusting his cheeks a pale red. The air was getting cooler, much like the water surrounding you both which encouraged you to take ahold of one of Jacob’s hands, pulling him towards the dock.

“You’re okay with this?”

You mutter. You weren’t really sure what was happening between the two of you, jealousy doesn’t run far from the tree, yes you were super jealous of you’re sister, but now, now you had the chance to show Jacob how you really felt, especially with how inviting the situation had become.

You feel a tug back before you sink back into his chest, his arm wrapping around your shoulder blades, your faces close once again.

“Not in a million years would I imagine this…but you- I realise now…”

Regarding Skjoldr, I personally would go as far as to say if he got more screen time or was a regular NPC in the actual gameplay he'd be no less compelling and popular than Atreus. He has a memorable design and knows how to appreciate people. Skjoldr expressed his gratitude and admiration of Angrboda helping everyone out - along with her wolves - after Ragnarok even before Atreus mentioned her to anyone when he came to (even though Atreus knew Angrboda almost got herself killed when she protected him and Kratos during the battle and then came back for them to show them the exit). I don't blame Atreus for being spaced out because he went through a lot himself (both emotionally and physically) and once he reunited with Angrboda he thanked her for saving them and gently held her hands (one of their many classical budding romance moments).

But in the next games it is important for Atreus to learn to acknowledge just how much Angrboda has done for him and his family, completely selflessly, with no benefit for herself, risking her life and health and, unlike him, having NO support system at all. Angrboda knew that according to the prophesies (that led to her parents' deaths, no less) she was not a part of Loki's story after Ironwood. Which meant there was a great chance she could have died during Ragnarok. But she went out there, fought by his side and saved Atreus and everyone anyway (again, knowing that doing so, even if she lives, might bring her no personal happiness because Atreus/Loki would still go off on his own and possibly forget about her).

My main concern with Skjoldr is him having a bigger role and becoming Thrud's love interest (I would like to see them together because narratively it makes sense even though I don't actively ship them; at least nowhere near as much as Atreboda) would attract the omnipresent trolls who would pit him and Atreus against each other in order to put down Atreus (like they do with Thrud and Angrboda). Trolls already treat Angrboda as Atreus's extension and hate her by association but, as I noted in my other reply, they still want Atreus to be a prize/reward for Thrud. It's only a matter of time before they shift the "reward" status to Skjoldr.

What concerns me even more is the developers themselves going that route with Skjoldr. Thrud is obviously set up to have a Valkyrie arc, especially after retrieving her father's hammer. Skjoldr, sadly, might end up being forced into the "disposable love interest/fridged partner" trope, possibly with his tragic death sparking rage/revenge arc for Thrud (maybe with Atreus/Angrboda helping Thrud overcome it and not succumb to it). So my hope is that the writers don't resort to this cliched and trite scenario and don't just write off his character.

I definitely can see atreus starting to voice more of his appreciation and support for angrboda as hes already done some of this already in rag. She deserves all the love for sure ❤️ i do think skjoldr will be a bit popular next game if they invest in him more since they might go the route of the story of the danish king marrying the valkyrie and i honestly hope they do 🥺

thats crazy you mentioned the whole thing of the fandom possibly going in that faux “love triangle” direction with AST bcuz i was thinking something else completely different but i will talk abt that another time. for now ill just say im very happy atreboda is a duo and NOT in a trio and i hope that continues on regarding their relationship lol

He sleeps more than usual in the weeks leading up to the wedding. You think it’s because of the stress but in actuality he’s trying to save up his sleep so he’s more awake for the ceremony

As much as he may act like he doesn’t care, he really does want to marry you and it makes him happy to think that you’re going to be all his

Beel is obviously his best man and while Belphie waits for you to come down the aisle he leans against him to take a small nap. Or that's what he had planned. The moment the music starts he perks up and finds himself unable to even close his eyes, too fixated on the doors about to open. 

Feeds you the first bite of cake and then just...doesn't stop

He’s so in love with you all he can do is stare

I’m having a little trouble following the characters here, but it sounds like a student reporter from your school newspaper asked you to do an interview, and you agreed along with requesting that your correct pronouns be included. Later, the reporter came back to you and told you that she had been overruled by the teacher advisor and they would not print your pronouns. 

I’m curious, is the reporter planning to misgender you in the article, or just avoid pronouns? Either way, this is straight up transphobic (I think misgendering is worse than avoiding pronouns, but they’re both bad). It’s also just bad journalistic ethics. You laid out conditions for being interviewed, and she did not meet them. It would not be wrong for you to insist on pulling the interview. I don’t really see how her grade can hang on this interview (isn’t the school newspaper typically an extracurricular acitivity?), and anyway, it’s not your problem. You made it clear what your conditions were. As an interview subject, you have every right to back out if you feel the paper is planning to misrepresent you. 

I acknowledge that the teacher is more at fault than the reporter here, but it’s possible the reporter has more ability to push back than she thinks, once she has something to lose. Anyway, it’s the only leverage you have. You don’t need to be “the accommodating one” just because someone else is being unreasonable. If this reporter’s grade hangs on the interview; if she can’t print the interview without your consent; if you won’t give consent if you’re being misgendered; and if a teacher is forcing her to misgender you: she can take it up with the teacher! You’re not doing anything wrong. 

In the event that the paper runs the interview without your consent, or you choose not to withdraw consent, it’s certainly a shitty situation, and I don’t blame you at all for feeling betrayed and disrespected. You’re in the right here. 

Some things you could do to take action and/or help yourself feel better: 

- If there is anyone who works at the school that you trust, such as a teacher, administrator, or guidance counselor, talk to them about it. 

- Write an op-ed for the paper denouncing the paper’s policy of misgendering students. 

- Tell friends what happened and get some support.  

- Talk to someone you trust outside the school, such as a family member or therapist. 

- Use your writing talent to express yourself in your own way, such as by journaling, writing poetry, posting online, etc. (whatever your medium is). Take your power back by representing yourself the way you want to be represented.

OH BOY WHERE DO I START. For one I’ve always wished the preeminent had a bigger role during season 5, it sucks that they hyped her up so much but then literally all she did was show up in the last episode and,,, die. That’s pretty much all she did. Very underwhelming especially considering how cool her design is!! They didn’t do my monster lady justice.

Second just... delete season 6 entirely. I mean, that’s practically what happened anyway but it literally serves no purpose other than making jay and nya Hets again. I skipped it while catching up on the newer seasons and,,,,, no impact on the story whatsoever. Never mentioned again except for the occasional ;) ;) joke bcuz the writers were cowards who retconned a whole season.

My new laptop got delivered yesterday. So, in order to get myself used to the new keyboard that is much wider than the one I was using I have decided to tell a very detailed story on here about a few very small events. 

This is going to be a recollection of my past encounters with 5sos. And I do not recommend that anybody reads it because it is going to be incredibly detailed so that I am able to look back on those days. 

The first time I ever met 5sos was back in 2017 when they played at the Pentaport Rock Festival that was held in Songdo. They played a 50 minute set that started at six on the last day of the festival which was August 13th and it was a Sunday. 5sos landed in Korea on Friday though, and I went to see them at the airport. 

I was really really so fucking nervous to see them for the first time and I wasn’t even completely sure if I had the right flight info so things were kinda crazy. I remember that day bcuz my friends and I went to the movie theater to watch the 2017 version of Beauty and the Beast and we also took pictures in the mall’s photo booth that day. We were originally going to have dinner together too but I saw that luke had posted a story of him in what looked like an airplane so i apologized to my friends and I headed home so that I could make my way to the airport. I used the LAX and Incheon airport website to figure out what flight they were on and then started to get ready.I hadn’t written my letters in advance even though I had already bought their gifts so I wrote down a few lines for each member with shaking hands. I also wrote a longer letter that was addressed to the band as a whole where I wrote down a bunch of things that I really liked to do in Seoul should they get the chance. I don’t remember the specifics of what I wrote though, I wish I took pictures of what I said to them. I remember the flight was supposed to arrive around 9:40 pm that night so I left my house at around 7:30 pm. That was probably one of my first times ever skipping a meal because I did not have dinner that day. For their gifts I got Luke a set of temporary tattoos bc he didnt have any at the time and I thought it would be funny. I got Michael a mask that said 접근금지 which is basically do not approach bc I knew he was antisocial like me and maybe he could make use of it. I got Ashton a bandanna, which I knew he hadn’t worn since 2014 but in the summer of 2017 bandannas were a really big fad in South Korean fashion and I thought it was a really funny coincidence. And finally for Calum I got matching towels for him and Duke. I remember when they stepped out into the airport I couldn’t breathe. Like, I was quite literally shaking and I couldn’t even scream. I love all four of them but I knew who’s lane I was in so I made a beeline for Calum. I tried to wait patiently but honestly I was about to start hyperventilating and people were pushing me so I just made my way up to him and asked him to sign my iPod touch which was what I carried around with me at the time because I wasnt allowed to have a smartphone until I graduated high school. Honestly I wasn’t even able to say anything because I was so nervous I just handed him the iPod and the pen and he knew what to do. Either way he signed it for me and my hands were shaking the entire time I couldn’t believe it. It is still one of my most prized posessions. I handed him my gifts that I had put into this blue ryan (the lion) shopping bag and went “this is for you” honestly i was shaking so hard and looking back I am impressed that I was even able to get out those words. He looked at the gifts and then back at me and went 

“For me? Aww, thank you”

let me tell you I nearly fucking died. He said aww to me. CALUM HOOD. SAID AWW. TO ME. fuck. And then I forgot how to talk and somebody else butted in and pushed me out of the way so I didnt get to ask him for a picture. Once I regained my senses I somehow made my way back and got a selfie with him. I later put that photo into my portion of my school’s yearbook when I graduated so that everybody in our school was forced to have a copy. While we were taking the photo my right should slightly touched him and let me tell you that felt really weird. Not to be pervy, it was just something that happened. But then they had to leave and I followed them out to their van and waved until the van was out of sight. I took the subway home that day just like how I got to the airport. I was shaking during both rides out of either anticipation or disbelieve, the difference is that on the way home I cried a little bit. 

Two days later was the day of the festival. I am going to try to keep the other details shorter but I left really earlier. I was alone that day bc I decided I would rather not show others what I looked like during their performance. I left my house and I got to the festival grounds around nine, they started letting people in at ten. I immediately ran to the main stage where they would be performing later and six so that I could wait while holding onto the fence (of course I positioned myself so that I was right in front of where Calum would be standing). We had to wait in line again because we weren’t allowed in until twelve. That day I was wearing my waste the night shirt which is still one of my favorite pieces of merch with a pair of pink shorts. I starved the entire day that day and I also made sure not to drink anything so that I wouldn’t have to go to the bathroom. I instead took 에이스 which is a type of really high calorie cracker so that I wouldn’t pass out. I also took 박카스 (a small version of energy drink) so that I could take one right before the performance to enjoy the show to the full extent. Around one o’clock bands started to play and I cheered them on with the rest of the crowd because honestly they weren’t bad and I do enjoy music festivals as a whole. But I made sure not to jump around to save up my energy. After a few bands had played, I would say around 3ish maybe the staff were getting the stage ready for the next performers and I was sitting with my back against the fence when somebody tapped my shoulder. 

When I turned around there was this lady and her friend who looked to be in their early twenties (I was seventeen at the time) and she asked me if I liked 5sos, I bet she could tell from my shirt. I told her I loved them and she said she thinks that some guy who was watching the stage from afar was Ashton, as in the drummer and that I should go and say hi. Honestly, this is one of the things that I regret most in my life, I was so surprised I forgot to thank her. I just said “really?” and then grabbed my selfie stick with my ipod attached and I ran off. Thinking back that was so rude of me this woman literally went out of her way to help me and I just ran on her. Ugh, I still think about this sometimes.

Anyways so there I was running and he was looking at the crowd waiting in front of the stage. I would say he was at about a 4? 5ish o’clock angle from the stage. When I approached him I saw that it really was Ashton and he had a body guard next to him, it wasn’t dave. The guard seemed to get wary as I approached but Ashton stepped up first and said hello to me. I am literally about to cry just remembering. I was so fucking nervous. He was wearing the white and black checkered shirt he wore on stage that day. He didn’t have his sunglasses on. Back to what happened, shit i’m shaking rn just remembering fuck. He smiled and said hello to me in a really friendly, approachable way. I was timid as fuck and so nervous so I whispered hi back. He laughed and said hi again and myself being the dumbass I am I said hi again too. This back and forth exchange of hi’s happened about four or five times, each time with ashton smiling bigger than the last and me getting closer and closer to tears just because I was so overwhelmed. Finally he busted out laughing and said “you are so adorable”

ashton. ashton irwin. ashton called me adorable. fuck. I think it was around this point that I forgot how to breathe. I spat out how much I love the band and their music. I was totally blubbering and making a mess out of myself. I was approaching tears at that moment but they hadn’t fallen yet and it was at this point that as he was thanking me and called me adorable a second time (!!) (he said something like “you are too adorable” ohmyfuckinggod), ashton went in for a hug. Whether it would have been a side hug or a full hug I will never know because I was too nervous and overwhelmed to notice. I only realized that he was going to hug me after we had parted ways. I still kick myself to this day. I should have let him hug me fuck. either way he opened up his right arm for me to step in but I didn’t move BECAUSE I DIDNT NOTICE. COME ON BITCH UGH FUCK. either way he just smiled, laughed and thanked me. I honestly wasn’t in my right mind. I told him that I went to see them at the airport but I knew he wouldn’t remember me so I just kept talking. The next thing I said to him was so fucking... ugh. I literally went “Michael is soo hot. Like, I knew he was hot but when I saw him at the airport I was so surprised because he was so much hotter than I thought he was going to be” fuck.

This is true. Personally I find all four of the boys really attractive but it’s true that people in the fandom even back then would call michael the ugly one. The reason I felt strong enough about this to say to Ashton was because when I went to the airport and saw them all in person for the first time, the other three pretty much looked exactly how I thought they would. They looked the same as when I saw them through the screen. But Michael, honestly he looked so much better in person. I dont know how to say it, but he was just one of those people who the camera never did justice. Everybody else was amazingly hot, just like they are on screen, but Michael honestly looked so much better in person. To be fair, I was shocked, and I felt really bad for him because he gets so much hate online for being “ugly” when that was far from the case.

Back to when I met Ashton. I hadn’t expected this meeting to happen, you know, so I had no idea what to say and the comment about michael being hot literally just flew out of my mouth. I didn’t have time to think okay I was totally put on the spot and I was just, I’m just surprised I didn’t faint. Thankfully, he busted out laughing again, and I got to hear that fucking beautiful laugh. The security guard cracked a smile at that one too. I am honestly still so embarrassed about this ugh what did i do. Either way, Ashton laughed at what I said and then told me he would make sure to tell Michael. It was at this point that I figured I had overstayed my welcome. I hadn’t realized it at first because I was too excited about the opportunity to meet him but I felt like I was taking up too much of his time. He probably just wanted to get a look at the stage and here I was, a crazy fan barely breathing, probably red in the face telling him how much I love him and how hot I thought his band member is. Fuck, it’s still humiliating to this day. At least he probably won’t remember it. So i’m the only one left with the embarrassing memory. And here I am writing it all down so that I never forget. 

I quickly asked him if he could tell Calum that I love him. He didn’t hear me at first and said “huh?” I repeated myself and he said he would. And I know that that was incredibly cringey of me but fuck it I said what I said. It was true and it is still true. Honestly, if I ran into Ashton in the streets tomorrow, I would still ask him to tell Calum that I love him because that is just how true that statement is. I then told him that I would be going. I remember mumbling something like “I don’t want to bother you” At this point I still couldn’t properly breathe. He said something along the lines of “oh no, you’re not bothering me” but I knew better and said “no, it’s okay.” And that’s how the interaction ended. I told him I hoped he had a good time in South Korea and I walked back to the stage where I had placed my bag to save my spot. I looked back a couple of times while I was walking and he waved, which I of course had to wave back to. Once I got to my spot I spent a few minutes trying to breathe. When I looked back to where he was he and the body guard were gone. 

A few things about this interaction. First, something I feel absolutely horrible about is that I never told him that I love him. I know it probably doesn’t matter because he’s Ashton Irwin and I’m just a fan but still. I told him how much I love his band and their music and his bandmates, fuck I even asked him to pass along the message to Calum that I love him yet I didn’t tell him that he is also somebody that I love so, so, so fucking much. I still feel so horrible about this to this day I regret it so much. This is what happens when people who are not good at talking to others are suddenly put into a conversation, they forget everything that they want to say, everything that they mean and that they should say and instead just spit out bullshit like omg ur bandmate is so much better looking in person honestly what the fuck drew. that was honestly unintentionally so rude of me. I FORGOT TO TELL HIM THAT I LOVE HIM. I FORGOT TO TELL SOMEONE I LOVE WITH ABSOLUTELY MY ENTIRE HEART THAT I LOVE HIM!! honestly what is the matter with me.

The second thing i wanted to add in is the fact that I didn’t get a picture. When I ran towards him it was with my selfie stick and iPod in hand, but I made sure to keep it down in case he didn’t want to take pictures because while we were in a public setting this still wasn’t work time for him and I didn’t want to ask him to take a picture with me if he didn’t want to. And while he didn’t directly say no pictures he had to have noticed my selfie stick but he didn’t say anything that implied he was cool with taking pictures right now so I just didn’t ask. I thought it would be a long shot too but I still took it just in case. I told myself as I was walking up to him that unless he brought it up first I wouldn’t ask for a picture so I am completely fine with what happened. I still think I pretty much intruded on his private time so I didn’t want to force him to do anything. 

I still feel really bad that I didn’t get to thank that amazing nice lady who let me know that Ashton was there. Fuck, I looked around for her afterwards and I think I caught a glimpse of her at some point in the crowd but when I got to where she was she was already gone. I wish I could say thank you even now. Honestly, I must have seemed so rude from her point of view. I just was so overwhelmed and I wasn’t thinking properly and I feel so bad to this day. I don’t remember what she was wearing and if I saw her walking along the street I probably couldn’t recognize her but I still am so sorry and sooo thankful. 

The performance that day was the first time I saw 5sos live. Actually, it was the only time so far but I hope that changes soon and I get to see them again when this whole pandemic is over. It was absolutely amazing. I don’t even know how to put it into words. It was just everything I had ever hoped for and more. I took videos the entire time with the limited equipment that I had. I supplied videos that day to 5sos stan twitter update accounts. It was a good time. I think that performance, the 50-minute set was one of the happiest moments of my life. not joking. 

This ended up being a lot longer than I thought it would be. But that’s okay. I’m probably going to be the only one to ever read it anyways and the fact that it’s long means that it’s detailed right? It probably just means that I monologued a shit-ton. The purpose of this blog is for it to be my diary anyways so who cares. 

But still, shit this ended up being pretty long. I guess I’ll have to write about my encounters with 5sos that happened in 2018 and 2019 some other time. Probably after finals, which I am procrastinating from studying for right now. 

Also, I wrote the beginning of this sometime in January I think but it is currently June so yeah that sure says a lot about me I guess. Hopefully, I’ll write again soon bc i sure do have a lot of fucking shit to say.

This has been an entry about the two encounters that I had with 5 seconds of summer back in 2017. ━  but off the books? well, let’s just say there may be rumours that they’re involved in some shady business and have quite a few shady interesting contacts from all around the world, from politicians to some less than savoury people. regardless, it’s common knowledge that the marquezes are filthy dirty rich, enjoy living extravagantly and lavishly, and are practically seen as spanish royalty in the social scene.

━  as the eldest born to the head of the marquez empire, sabina was always groomed to take over marquez enterprises one day. she has a younger brother, though he shows no interest (or any capabilities, for that matter) in even being a part of it. then there are all of her cousins who want the seat - her seat - at the head of the table for themselves, like her cousin cristiano. well, over her dead body. and even from the grave, she would never let that happen because this was her birthright. while most kids dreamt of flying to the moon or being a princess, sabina always knew she was going to rule the world marquez empire one day.

━  sabina is her parents’ daughter in every way possible. they taught her everything legal and illegal that she needed to know in order to be successful in life. but some things even they couldn’t quite explain themselves. like when three-year-old sabina stole all the crayons in daycare to force other kids to buy them back with their snacks. from a young age, she quickly learned that tricking people into giving her what she wanted out of their own dumb free will was so much more satisfying than stealing it from under their noses. she may be named after a saint, but anyone will tell you she is anything but.

━  a hustler with an alpha bitch mentality, she’s always outsmarting people and outsmarting the system to get things to work in her favour. and when that didn’t work, no one could ever say no to a big fat wad of cash. because sabina marquez never loses. she doesn’t just play the game, she owns it, makes the rules and wins. every. damn. time. sabina strongly believes that playing by the rules was for suckers and if you weren’t the best, then you were nothing at all. and sometimes being the best required playing dirty. if she has to ruin someone else’s life to get her way, then she will gladly pour a jug of gasoline, light a match and enjoy watching it go up in flames. hell, sometimes she’ll do that just for the fun of it anyways. and if that’s what she does for her own enjoyment, then you do not wanna know what she does when she’s pissed off.

━  with that mentality, it’s no surprise that sabina easily became the top student of her program and student council president. though she may have lied and cheated her way to the top on several occasions, there’s no denying that she’s fucking brilliant. yes, she could have done it the right way, but where’s the fun in that? if anything, pulling off all the lying, cheating and scheming proved just how smart she really was. and maybe that’s why michael fell for her. 

━  sabina always thought she was too good for michael. in fact, too good for almost anyone at this school. the whole golden boy, mr. popular act was boring and cliche, and she saw right through it. and yet somehow, almost as if it’d happened overnight, michael had won her over and they were quickly known as du pont’s ‘it’ couple. everyone envied them and wanted to be them. they couldn’t be a more perfect couple and she was the perfect girlfriend - sweet, adoring, supportive. in fact, so perfect that no one ever knew that deep down, sabina had never hated anyone more in her life than michael fucking valmont. and she couldn’t be happier now that he’s dead.

The tunnels smelled like moldy sewer water and you could hear the faint dripping of a broken pipe. You stepped carefully, but you in the dead quiet of the space around you, your shoes hitting the water sounded louder than normal. You weren't sure what you were expecting to see--Theo lying face down in the shallow water or a seven foot beast waiting at the end of the tunnel--but you didn't see either of those. In fact, the tunnels looked untouched, like the last experience you had here didn't even happen.

Your shoe kicked something hard and metal. When you looked down, you got the confirmation that what had happened was real. It was a silver metal canister, the canister that released the smoke when your "friends" came to "rescue" you. But other than that, there was no sign of the Beast and more importantly, no sign of Theo.

Your phone began ringing in your pocket, the loud bells echoing throughout the tunnels and probably giving away your position to anyone in a fifty foot radius. You wrestled it out of your jacket, looked at the caller ID, and with a roll of your eyes tapped the answer button, and put it to your ear.

"What, Scott?"

"Y/N?" Scott's voice was grainy over the phone, "Y/N, where are you?"

"Why? So you can come and play hero?" You snorted, "Forget it."

"Y/N, I'm serious--"

"So am I Scott, don't try to find me."

"Y/N, listen to me--it's not safe for you--"

"Oh, but it's okay for Theo to be here?" You scoffed, "Double standards, Scott. Call me back when you're willing to live up to that True Alpha title. Or don't. I really don't care."

"Y/N--"

You didn't want to hear whatever protest Scott had. You hung up the phone and put it back in your pocket. You turned around with a sigh, and focused on trying to figure out how to find Theo. Right when you took your first step, you bumped into the chest of someone standing behind you. You knew who it had to be immediately.

"Theo? Oh my god! What--"

You looked up and you were not met with Theo's familiar face. In fact, there wasn't a face at all. You were looking straight at the metal helmet of one of the Dread Doctors.

"Subject condition--promising."  Was all that it said. You backed away and turned to make a break for it, but it seized you by the arm and yanked you back.

"No! No! Stop! Let me go! Let me go!"

It obviously didn't listen to you. It wrapped a strong arm around your chest and held you tightly into place. You felt a sharp sting in the side of your neck and your body grew too heavy to support. Your eyes fluttered shut as you slumped into the Dread Doctor's arms and fell into darkness.

You felt warm hands caressing the sides of your face. You peeled your eyes open and were met by a look of relief on Theo's face.

"Oh my god," He sighed out, bowing his head down so you couldn't see his face, "Oh my god."

"Wh-what--"

"What were you doing out there, huh? I found you passed out in the middle of the tunnels. Well, I mean, I almost tripped over you--"

You looked around and found that you two were sitting Theo's car. The seat was pushed back so that you were laying down. It was dark outside, too dark to see. "How did you--where are we?"

"I managed to not get mauled and escape, so I got the hell out of there as fast as I could. The Beast it--" Theo shook his head, trying to piece the events together in his head, "It didn't kill me. I mean, it should've, but it didn't. It knocked me out and when I woke up I was in this weird underground lair, somewhere in the tunnels. I was alone, I was bleeding--"

You noticed dark red splotches on his white t-shirt, some bigger than others, but nonetheless most definitely the blood from his injuries.

"--I didn't know why it had me there, but I didn't want to wait to find out. I had to get out of there. Fast. It took a lot of stumbling around in the dark but I got out of there. I was running out and, like I said, I almost tripped over you lying there on the ground." Theo turned to look at you, a stern look in his eyes, "What the hell were you doing down there? I thought you got out."

"I had to come back for you," You explained, "Scott and them, they came to rescue me but they--they were going to leave you to die. I couldn't do that to you. No way."

You reached over to lace your fingers with Theo's. He watched your fingers slowly intertwine and then looked at you, a soft look in his eyes.

"You came back for me?"

You smiled, "Of course I did. I always will. I'm not going to leave you behind."

Theo was caught off guard by such a sentiment, since being left behind was all that he was used to.

Theo shook his head slightly, "But--but Scott's your pack--your alpha."

"I'm not his beta or his omega, I'm not even supernatural, Theo. He can't order me around. And if he was a true Alpha, he wouldn't have left you for dead."

You licked your lips as you considered your next thought, "Besides...maybe it's time I find a new pack."

Theo's brows furrowed at you, "A new pack?"

You looked at him through your eyelashes, "There's no one else I would protect with my life other than you."

Theo chuckled, "Yeah, I think you showed that when you risked your life to come back for me."

Theo tilted his head and looked at your for what seemed like a long time. The corner of his mouth quirked up into a small smile and he reached over to cup your face with his hand. His thumb brushed soft circles on your cheek as he whispered, "No one's ever done that for me. Human or not."

"Well I think you'll find this human has a little more bite in them," You leaned closer and looked down from his lips to his eyes, "Let me show you."

Theo gave you a slight nod, getting the double entendre, and leaned forward connecting your lips in a heated kiss. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him over the console of the car and as close to you as he could get. Without breaking the kiss, he pulled his arms away from you. You were concerned at first, wondering why he didn't want to touch you, but you realized he was just taking off his jacket. Adrenaline kicked in as it hit you what was about to happen. Ideally, would you have liked your first time with Theo to happen in his car after you had spent the better part of the night passed out in a sewer and he had been nearly killed? No. But the pure adrenaline of it all was enough to spark the fire apparently. Teenage hormones.

You broke away briefly to pull your shirt over your head, leaving you sitting in Theo's car, panting heavily in your bra. Theo's eyes glazed over with pure adoration as his eyes raked over your body, but that pure adoration was soon converted into pure lust because you were back to locking lips in an instant.

"Y/N," You heard Theo muttered in between kisses.

"I don't want to talk anymore, Theo," You muttered back, "Just kiss me."

Theo chuckled against your lips, "I was going to suggest that we move to the backseat, where it's more comfortable so I can keep doing that."

"Oh," You stopped, "That works for me."

You both clamored into the backseat of Theo's car, and as soon as you touched the leather of that backseat it was back on. Theo climbed on top of you, his mouth peppering kisses down your neck.

You sighed out his name as your hands ran through his hair. It was all so right until Theo's mouth brushed against a certain spot on your neck that was colder than the others.

"Condition improving."

Your eyes shot open and you saw you were staring up at the grimy ceiling of the tunnels again. There were pipes criss-crossing on the ceiling and only one lightbulb hanging on a cord for a light source. It swung back and forth, casting sinister shadows around the room. Three Dread Doctors stood over you, ticking and whirring noises coming from them as if they were completely made of machinery.  

"Subject shows signs of promise."

"We will perform further tests."

You tried to move, but found that your wrists and ankles were shackled down the table. There were also straps around your head and waist, preventing you from twisting in any sort of way. Your eyes darted around the room in a panic. You saw one of the Dread Doctors pick up a gruesome looking power saw and pass it to the other. The Dread Doctor turned the saw on, the whirring filled the concrete room.

"Ready to proceed with test."

The Dread Doctor brought the saw closer and closer to you and that's when you realised a part of your body was about to be sawed off and there was nothing you could do about it. You couldn't move. You couldn't scream. You could only watch in horror.

"No! No! Stop! Let me go! Get off!"

"Y/N? Hey what's--I'm off! I'm off! What's wrong?!"

"Get off of me! Stop! Let me go!" You swung your arms around, trying to fend the Doctors off.

"I'm not touching you, Y/N! Y/N! Hey! Stop!"

Someone grabbed your arms and when you came to, you were staring at a frightened (and shirtless) Theo. He held your wrists in his hands, both your chests were heaving.

"Wh-what happened? What?" You looked around and found you were still in Theo's car and not in the Dread Doctor's lair about to become a horrible science experiment.

"I should ask you the same thing," Theo's eyes widened as he got a good look at you.

"What? What is it?"

"Your eyes, Y/N."

You stared at him, waiting for more explanation but he offered none. You leaned over to the front of the car and brought down the sun visor. You slid the cover of the mirror over and were immediately hit with the bright yellow light the sun visor offered. But that wasn't the kicker.

Your eyes were glowing purple and where your regular teeth should've been were sharp rows of canines.

"You...might want to reconsider that "only a human" thing," Was all Theo said. You shifted your body to look at him. Your voice trembled as you asked,

"What happened to me?"

He bullies his mom and sister (always has) and took his moms keys and her car from her and will not return it. I know we are legally responsible for him until he turns 18 which isn't too much longer BUT he is getting worse with everything, my husband has given up on him and just lets him come and go as he pleases and do what he wants (he claims he will kick him out on his bday but no one believes him b/c of many past threats not followed through and his kids know it so they continue to play him), I'm told to stay out of it because he isn't my son yet he is still on MY insurance and driving his mom's car while drinking and smoking pot and continuing not to follow the law with his restrictions either. I can't wait for this ungrateful punk to be out of my house. He constantly badmouths all of us with lies to everyone and blames us when things don't go his way. i had this extremely epic dream... me and my friend were on this journey across states or smthn, all i know was that it took days and was mostly along beaches but also went through cities. so... i have just the faintest idea of how it started. now that im awake ive almost entirely forgotten what the journey was for. i know we were both young (maybe like... 13-14?) and i know that we were being tracked by our parents or something... we werent running from them but we couldnt let them catch up to us. they would make us stop. i remember being worried about where to put our supplies and if picking up lose change we found would be helpful. my friend was kind of freaking out about which pocket i was going to put the like, dollar and 30 cents i just found. we both had bags but mine had the main supplies in it and was bigger. i remember we swam for a bit of the journey. the bags must have been water proof or maybe the supplies inside could get wet/were water proof. i just know that part of the way we had to swim and when we got back on land it was on a beach. it wasnt an island-type beach, it was definitely something you would see in california or something, where only a short walk away from the water was a wall/fence followed by a street with stores and restaurants on it. i just remember i liked the vibe of the place. we trudged through the sand though for whatever reason? maybe we just werent aware of the street lmao. we eventually made it to a small city, and it was kind of run down? lots of brick apartments. we went through a couple of apartments i think bcuz i remember going down some of the stairs. i think it was just to throw off the people tracking us (who might have been our actual parent or might have been someone doing it for them, we werent sure). but we took a lot of weird shortcuts. EVENTUALLY we made it to the edge of the city and found ourselves looking at the outside security of a prison-like building. that was our destination. but we had to get through the fences, which was more about us just tirelessly going up and then down and up and then down through the different levels of rungs. the people who were tracking us were really close and now it became all about just pure speed. i was fast going through the fences but my friend was lagging behind and it got really scary. we got through that though and made our way into the building, which we then went dooooown an elevator in to the bottom level. the walls were white and had this chunky, shiny quality to them kind of like the bricks in school? like a real thick paint. and the lighting was real dim. there was a receptionist of sorts but she didnt talk to us, i think her specific job just wasnt worth extending to us cuz she looked exhausted. we walked around a corner into a small room (like, 3 people could fit) in front of a vault door. there was a keypad and i remember that i had to press all the numbers at once but i was having trouble and when my friend asked me what was up i said "my hands are just shaking too much" and they reached out to help me. they then had to enter a bunch of passwords down this list and they knew them but at first they entered them without deleting whatever was previously there so i could tell they were also freaking out. we got into the vault and.............. i dont remember what happened :,-) i legitimately cant remember what it is that we accomplished before our parents caught up to us and were down in the basement with us. they showed up and we were fine with that, so we must have done what we came there to do. but... god, i just dont even think my brain included that part. the important part. but uhh... now for the lighthearted ending? our parents were angry but like. not too angry lmao and whats wild is that we got out of there and we were like "hmm... could really go for some food" so we went a got food with our parents and younger siblings??? this restaurant wasnt just a boring place either, it was super themed and was through a literal swamp and we had to climb bridges and walk just above the gross water. when we got to the real path we passed this huge broken down wooden rollercoaster and whats weird is that i said out loud "oh, ive ridden that before" and no one stopped to question me or tell me otherwise. i just said it, i didnt know if it was true. but i just have this weird feeling about it... we made it to the restaurant (my dream had us crawling out of water onto sand when we got there, and drying off. im not sure if that was a product of me waking up or if it was realistic in that world?) there was a back deck to the restaurants and we got onto it to wait before getting inside to order our food. there was a house next door and whoever lived there was sitting in the back yard, outside, on a couch watching tv, with 3 cats sitting on them. like wtf thats the Life(tm)??? and i pointed that out to one of our moms lmao. everyone else eventually went in and i was left alone with my thoughts for a second. it was weird cuz it was almost like i had gone through a whole different dream and yet i was still there, the same person from before, carrying the bag with the dollar and 30 cents in the front pocket. i woke up then.
