Tickle trope that I think that should be mentioned more: Lees who have a stronger accent when being tickled, who will try to form a coherent sentence only to give up and giggle and plea in other language, who start to mix more and more of their words with English the more it tickles and the more they laugh. The delight in their face when the ler say a tease in their native language and keep whispering it to them over and over again, knowing their reaction will be much stronger and that it will get them out of guard everytime. Or even better! Asking the lee to say what are the best teases and t-words in their language and please can you explain it again? I didn't catch it quite right in the first time and then train the pronunciation over and over together until the ler can say it perfectly, ya know?

Some trans guy internet person was outed by multiple trans women ex-girlfriends as a serial violent abuser. just a really awful transmisogynistic manipulative piece of shit. There was some tweeting about it, and some reposting of tweets, and somehow thru the social media game of telephone, someone was mistakenly saying in the comments of some post about it all that the trans guy who'd been outed as an abuser was me.

A few people questioned this and asked for proof, thankfully, leading to the person who dropped my name apologizing and admitting theyd just forgotten who the actual abuser was or somehow gotten confused. it wasnt even a bad faith attempt to mischaracterize me or attack me this time, nothing coordinated or intentional, just someone wanting to spread the gossip and take part in the spectacle of these women having been mistreated and running their mouth not knowing what they were talking about.

It's a little thing, but I love how Jonathan takes a moment... fully prepares for Nancy to break up with him after everything that's happened (that he blames himself for)... and then attempts to tackle their conflict head on. Totally obsessed, by the way, with adult Van and Tai choosing the same half-masks they wore to Doomcoming. Two halves of a whole. Two people hiding from the world as long as it means hiding together. Also, I just thought of something interesting.

Fear and Disgust have a similar role.

They both have to do with protecting Riley. Albeit in different forms.

Fear- keeping her safe from harm through the things she sees.

Disgust- keep things away from Riley that poison her. Physically and socially.

But I feel that they can overlap.

For example, let's say hypothetically Riley has a fear of spiders.

Fear would automatically be included in this scenario yes, but I feel Disgust could have a role too.

Disgust can come with it and dislike the sight of spiders. For example: how gross she thinks they are. How the number is legs is pretty freaky to look at. How nothing should have that many eyes. That it could bite Riley and poison her.

What I'm trying to say is that both Fear and Disgust have to do with aversion, and keeping Riley away from the perceived threat.

They can come together and in a sense, bond in that way.

There can be other scenarios/things they'd want to keep Riley away from like:

Germs. Fear would be cautious of the potential risk of disease and Disgust would be caught up with getting away from anything that's unsanitary and gross.

Public speaking. It's the most common fear and Fear would want Riley to rehearse the speech, so she can remember what to say. Disgust would want Riley to look good in front of the audience to make a good impression.

I'm sure there's other things/scenarios that they can keep away from Riley that they can bond over, but that's all I can think of.

Also I may have taken inspiration from my own fears/aversions.

I have a fear of spiders and public speaking. Not so much germs.
