Anyways gonna be coining some genders relating to the game In Sound Mind because that game has wormed its way into my brain smh

(In summary: horror-oriented game about a therapist "revisiting" his old patient's files, being haunted by a sense of failure due to the situations his patients ended up in. wonderfully crafted mechanics where you cannot trust what you see (or what you cannot see), a VERY well done exploration of mental illness and mental health, ft. music by The Living Tombstone. also there's a talking cat)

There is a butch I am thirsting for [he Knows who he is] and he throws my entire mind in a fucking loop.

On one hand, I want to feel his fists on my face, his teeth on my throat. I want him to take out every ounce of anger on me, the cold metal of his gun tilting my head up to look at him. Me putting my mouth on that object of Destruction and Trusting him not to send a bullet out of the back of my head. I want to Bleed for him. I want to do it all back to him. I want him to Bleed for me. Closest thing to intimacy we can understand.

On the other hand, I want us to fuck nasty, in a way that doesn’t make sense, like two animals fighting to the Death, like nobody is topping anyone unless they win the death battle. Or maybe it goes back and forth, whomever has the upper hand at the moment. Teeth sinking into flesh, nails digging harshly into limbs, tasting blood on each other’s mouths. I want to look like we stepped out of a cage fight when we are done, both fucked out and tired and too fucking autistic and not knowing how emotions work to do aftercare beyond a hefty pat on the shoulder so someone else in our systems has to do it for us.

I don’t know, it’s fucking strange. Never really thought about shit like this.

I genuinely think spending a week camping off-grid changed my mentality for good.

Any bed feels like heaven after sleeping on a frozen mat for 4 nights, with coyotes yapping outside of the tent at dawn and a silence thick enough to hear a heartbeat. I don't think I'll ever complain about bad food again, after fighting to light a tiny flame for 30 minutes just for a can of lukewarm soup (in the snow!)

And I miss it. I would 100% do it again if given the chance.

I 100% believe Lois Lane requested the presence of Bruce Wayne in her delivery room.

(Bruce flew to Metropolis in a helicopter when he got the news. He found Clark ashen and trembling at Lois’ side, eyes clenched shut as she screamed. He slid into place like he’d never been missing, talking Lois AND Clark through it like he delivered babies every day of the week)

Kind of hysterical to me that Steven Moffat, famously the most sexist of the nuwho showrunners, is also the only one to get the Doctor's transgenderism right.

Both Chibnall and RTD seem(ed) so stuck on regeneration being a binary switch. That while their body can change they are always inline with it, and in that way cisgender.

But god for all his faults Moffat did write the Doctor and Missy with a certain disconnect from humanity and human gender.

Like yes Missy played into being a woman but it was always a performance, SHE knew she was above it but she loved the way she could use it to fuck with humans.

Then with 12 you have Capaldi's whole performance and that lovely moment with Bill. Like ofc it was less explicit than we just got with RTD, but for being stories that are what nearly a decade old now? It was fucking AMAZING and what we did get was so good and so on point with the doctor's nonbinary identity.

Obviously he doesn't come close to whatever the Eighth doctor writers were on in the edas. But in terms of modern who? Damn I miss 'we are so far above your petty human obsession with gender'. I want that kind of nonbinary-ism back please. please...

He walks in to one hell of an insane scene in his kitchen and doesn't freak out

Looks to be a loving husband and father, and frankly, considering we were introduced to Donna because she was getting married to Lance I'm just crying over how good Donna's life has turned out outside of the not remembering the Doctor part
