I found possibly my first ever animation, made in Krita, moving layers like parts of a paper puppet, exported in almost 200 jpegs, one per each frame.

I didn't know how any animation softwares worked, I didn't know any principles, I just made it as a passion project for school in like 2016. I still remember showing it off in some highschool application, and the teacher calling in some near-graduation students to show them. Looking back on it, it isn't... as impressive, to current me. However it's something very sweet and dear.

Not gonna lie, I did a double-take on this one. It took me a second to realize that I had tagged a previous post that you were OP of with #for the sad times. The tag is mostly a catch-all tag that I use to categorize things that I know will cheer me up when I do feel sad. The tag doesn't necessarily mean that I am sad. But getting such a thoughtful ask made me tear up a little. It really is very sweet of you. I'm not one of your followers (well, not yet, but you seem to have good stuff so I might change that.) so to get such a nice gesture of concern from a virtual stranger was really comforting. The fact that you took time out of your day to give me a little pile of cute kitty photos and a reminder to self-care just because you saw my tags and figured "Well I sure hope they're not sad, but in case they are, here's a little kindness." is just... very uniquely wholesome. I wouldn't say I'm struggling more than usual, even though holidays tend to be uniquely stressful. But this month has brought on a bunch of new challenges. I've been doing a bit more caring for others than usual, so having a reminder to care for myself too really hit me. Thank you so much for the random act of kindness. I'm still kind of choked up. The world is made infinitely better in infinitely small and important ways like this. Just people caring about other people. I really appreciate it and I hope your holiday season is filled with so many people you love doing random acts of kindness for you like you did for me today. 😭❤

Once they get through a minor difference of opinion or two (“I can carry my own basket!” “Never said you—” “I'm not weak!” “I didn't—” “Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean—” “Would you listen for once, woman?!” ) they'll become nearly inseparable.

For now Jian Li will carry Katara's basket all the way to the Kyoshi Warriors' dojo and, once there, they'll mercilessly tease Sokka when they see him in uniform.

There's gotta be some fucked up moments post canon Binghe experienced that made him pause and go "how did he know that" about SQQ. Like,,, not to keep bringing it up but do yall ever think about how fucked up it would be for someone to know your trauma so intrinsically that they could avoid triggering you without you saying a word about it? How your lover knows without you saying that you can't eat certain foods because that's what ever you could scrounge up in the Abyss tasted like? That you can't talk about certain creatures because you know how they act when they're trying to kill you?? How you fear certain things that are so normal to do that even a small child can do it, yet he never does it once in your presence?? Do you think about it?? He knows you from the most basic interaction to the deepest dark thought, and yet you don't even know his real name?? I think about this CONSTANTLY. Binghe is living the most eldritch horror romcom plot there ever is post canon, good luck man
