Yea, it actually is a decent plan, free promo for them after all. One of the Vancouver paps pointed this out though:

Can you imagine if you are in the media, you are supposed to cover the pilot, you get the press screener, and are sworn to not post about it till the premiere. Only to see fans of a project unrelated to it posting spoilers YOU were probably going to break blabbing for a month? [X]

So it might be good in the short term, but in the long run they may be p*ssing off the media who they are going to need to rely on to spin it as a good show.

Ooh, someone's not happy about being scooped... I guess that particular site is upset about it. Personally, I doubt the media here in the US really cares all that much. They already know GK is practically DOA and they have so many other shows to cover.

Besides, they screened WIndy and TW prior to the pilot and no one really gave anything away prior to airing, so I doubt it's a big a deal as this tweet is making it out to be.

"But if college was free, then people would abuse that and get useless degrees" hell yeah I would! If I could go to college without debt I would make it my job to get a degree in every little thing that interested me. I'd get a doctorate in film studies. I'd have a bachelor's degree for every science I like. I'd try to learn at least 5 languages with varying results. I would learn something "useful" like coding and then follow it up with a ""useless"" degree like art history. I'd be the world record speed run holder for getting every degree possible.

But I can't afford college without going into massive debt, so instead I spent the last 5 years trying to figure out what I am passionate enough about to consider going into debt over, because unfortunately being passionate about everything is extremely expensive to pursue.
