At this point I’m watching Gotham war just to see what chaos happens next, but i kind of love that thirty seconds after batman’s Plan To Save Jason by making him incapable of self defence every single rogue in the city knows about it and Jason has back to back run ins with scarecrow and the joker while inside a burning building.
You could not have fucked this up more, bruce.

You said that Home (not talking about grey!au home, but like, normal chill cool dad home) is fiercely protective of his kids and would get pissed if something tried to hurt them.
Is this hypothetical or did someone make the terrible mistake of fucking around and finding out.
Well now, isn’t that just a thought? 👀

i love how the house of the hearth’s kits fit and/or dont fit together. like, lynette being an anemo sub dps that can heal herself (+a minor attack buff w/burst) makes her work well with both lyney and arlecchino bc theyre both pyro dpses that dont need healers, plus her skill helping with manueverability fits well with a charged attack dps, and her making a decent amount of energy particles helps charge arlecchinos burst she needs to heal. and then lyney and arlecchino being redundant fits with how lyney is being raised to replace her, esp since if you have both of them on a team and arle’s dying the only way to get her back is wait until her burst charges so lyney being on field can do that. and then poor freminet doesnt fit in bc lynette cant buff physical damage (like she can pyro w/ viridescent) and hes also just, a main dps that doesnt fit in bc the 5*s are better and hes the only one that needs a healer. like he can cause melt for arle/lyney but hes clearly not built for it, he Can be built for cryo damage bc his skill does either but once again, not what hes best for. he does best with electro/hydro bc he has stuff thats triggered by superconduct/shattered, which, no one in the house can help him with. which is why i also love how his canon weapon (the bell) isnt even good on him bc he doesnt scale on hp - but if he Was on a team with arle/lyney/lynette, he would need something to protect him bc hes the only one that cant heal himself and claymore dpses get hit easily. hes trying his best to contribute but he kind of sucks bc he doesnt fit and i love that for him

Autism is in fact real. While the symptoms are things that most people experience to a degree, the difference between the average person and someone who is autistic is the level at which they experience these things. While most people can miss social cues, a person with autism may miss them even when they are being specifically pointed out. Everyone feels discomfort at unpleasant stimuli, but someone with autism is far more likely to become incapacitated by such situations. The diagnosis is not 'illegitimate' as you put it. Though it also does not mean there is something wrong with someone, or that they are inherently different from people as a whole, it is simply something to be aware of to make ways of coping with certain problems and sensitivities easier.
Extraordinarily insensitive of you to call it 'illegitimate' like that.
Alright. My apologies, I suppose.

no i'm sorry i'm not done because every SINGLE post about claire be it spiteful or pitying still somehow misses the point of her place in the plot entirely. she wasn't there to 'fix' carmy. she wasn't there for his escapism. she doesn't represent carmy's past and she isn't a mary sue and she isn't even there to contrast syd!! she is someone who knows and loves carmy just like anyone else in his life who he continues to sabotage any true vulnerability with!! if she contrasts syd, it's not even in a way that richie doesn't also, or natalie, because these are all people who care for him that he refuses to meet halfway the moment any vulnerability is required of him. for better or worse, claire's function in season two is about carmy's dysfunction, and how no matter how good his life can get or how many good opportunities come his way, he will ALWAYS blow it until he sorts his shit! as long as he refuses to process this hovering feeling, this anxiety, this waiting for the other shoe to drop, HE will drop it himself!! he will look at a perfect situation and ask is the other shoe gonna drop and not wait for an answer because the hope of even asking is too dangerous and painful to indulge in. if he stays in the hustle and the stress and never allows himself ANY amusement or enjoyment, it can't be something to lose. the point of claire is that it wouldn't even matter if it was syd or her, or anyone in carmy's life who dares ask of vulnerability from him (re: the big red button are you okay asked at a berzatto family function, hello), because as long as he remains where he is, he will blow it either way.

@sorrowsick gives us: this tea will strengthen you and help cleanse the blood. / rosie
He doesn't know how exactly she found him, and he's not sure yet if he's glad she did. The wound runs nearly the entire length of his sternum, so deep that when he could still make himself look at it, he could see the chipped bones of his ribs. Rainer had fallen from his horse what felt like days ago in the woods and she'd stood over him silently with her head low, snorting and stamping her feet at the predators and scavengers drawn by the scent of blood and rot.
It's hard to say what made the Hellbitch allow Zahrosa to take him-- he was unconscious for it, or at least delirious with blood loss and fever. He feels a bit like a wounded dog now, awake and half-living and blinking in the soft, low light of her home, taking the offered mug and holding it up to his nose. He doubts she'd go to all this trouble to poison him, but the concoction smells herbaceous and bitter, and the warmth feels nice in his hands.
"How did you find me?" He finally asks, taking a sip of the brew. "Where... where are we?"

@beatingheart-bride
At the mention of these pictures, Randall blushed and smiled shyly-the albums were still well within their reach, containing a number of portraits of him in his youth...including one of him, all dressed up in his father's kilt and hating every second of it. It was a portrait he found intensely embarrassing, but he had to admit, he was flattered to think his bride found it so adorable.
"Well," he smiled bashfully. "I hope our children take after you-you must have been the prettiest baby in town when you were born, I can only imagine how beautiful our little ones will be!"
He was sure he saw plenty of her childhood pictures in the future, but he couldn't say he'd seen any yet-even so, he could imagine how beautiful Emily was as a child; with her button nose, apple cheeks, big china-blue eyes and golden ringlets? She must've been adorable, and he could easily imagine their children taking after her in that regard.
(In some ways, it was better than inheriting some of his traits-untamable curls, deathly pale skin, a big beak of a nose? No, he'd rather their future children take after their mother...)
