If you're so concerned about teenagers being "groomed" (recruited) into the USA military why would you be... defending joining the USA military?

Like wouldn't it make more sense to take a firm anti-military stance and share it as widely as possible, with specific arguments to discourage kids from joining?

Stop fucking justifying this shit. I knew as a teenager the USA military was evil because people were widely condemning it and I heard some of their arguments.

Why the fuck are some of you trying to shut down criticism of the USA military and claiming it's to benefit American children who... don't know enough about the criticisms to not get recruited?

I think Sarek and Amanda would both be accepting of Spock's homosexuality if he made them aware of it, but he'd still not want Kirk around them because they'd make it weird in ways completely unrelated to Spock's partner being a man. Any partner of Spock's would have to deal with the most freak4freak parents in law of all time while Spock silently sits nearby or leaves while everyone's distracted.
